Authentic modern Thai Eatery in midtown Toronto. Come and explore dishes you won't find on other menus!
We were excited to try Piii Nong hoping to explore a new Thai dining experience. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff and a clean dining room. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. The Pad Thai was overly sour, lacking the sweet and spicy balance we're accustomed to. The basil chicken, while decent, had bland meat that detracted from the flavourful sauce. While this could be an isolated incident, we'll need to revisit to form a more definitive opinion
It was late afternoon in between a late lunch/early dinner-ish time so we decided to try out this Thai restaurant. I really wanted to like this place after hearing how authentic the food was from other reviews but it did not really take authentic for us...Our food lacked a lot of flavour, green curry was a bit too watery, the Khao Soi had garnishes like pickled mustard green and purple onions that overpowered the curry taste, noodles were good but I've had better. The only item I would recommend was the Basil Rice Noodle (Pad See Ew?) that wasn't too greasy and had a good kick to it. Overall, the presentation of the dishes were nice but most of the items we ordered were not greasy but just lacked some flavour or seasoning. The service was amazing and that's why I still have them 4 stars. Thai Milk Tea was cute with the bear and tasted alright, worth the price though! Would recommend this place if you're looking for a simple date night or small gatherings, highly recommend trying their desserts!
Authentic Thai food with great service. Every dish was so good, esp the tom yum hot pot. We will definitely come back!!!
Delicious entrees and desserts! The Thai iced tea is a must-try; it’s adorable, and pouring it yourself adds a nice touch to the experience. The meals were flavorful, and the service was good. Just a heads-up: parking is paid street parking.
Went here to have dinner with my co workers (group of 5) around mid July. All the food came out pretty fast even though we ordered quite a lot. Food presentation was amazing and of course, they tasted delicious! One bonus point, besides a traditional menu, they also have menu with photos so it will be much easier to see how the food look like. Service was 💯: friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. Despite being a busy Saturday, it was very nice to dine in, felt no rushed. Would recommend to eat here and will be back again.
With my cousin out of town traveling to Buffalo to visit my other cousin, and feeling too lazy to cook, I decided to take the two kiddies to try out Pii Nong Thai. We started off with calamari grabong and butterfly shrimp. The kids enjoyed the calamari more than the shrimp. The shrimp was okay, but you really have to enjoy coconut to appreciate coconut shrimp. The calamari, on the other hand, was quite good. For the main dishes, I ordered the tom yum soup, Pad Gra Pow with chicken, and grilled pineapple fried rice. My little guy enjoyed the Pad Gra Pow; it had great taste and wasn’t too spicy. The pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp was a simple but delightful dish, just right for our taste. Overall, Pii Nong Thai provided a satisfying meal for us, with some standout dishes that the kids particularly enjoyed. It’s definitely a spot we’d consider visiting again.
This was our first time at this restaurant as we heard great things. Service was quick. We really enjoyed the Pandan leaf chicken and chicken spring rolls. The soft shell crab was ok, a little bland but the curry that comes with it is amazing. The curry noodle was mediocre in taste. The Thai tea was good but moreso good for the gram. Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely come back to try something different.
The food was good. We tried soft shell crab curry which was amazing and other stuff. I really like the coconut ice cream and the Thai milk tea. However, the server was not good. He did not pay attention to us and we had to call him every single time we need him to clean up the dishes or clean the table. Anyways, we left 20% tips because I think they are new and need improvement anyways. It was $200 for 3 people and here is the food we ordered.
I had the pleasure of visiting Pii Nong Thai s new Yonge Street location (tomorrow is their official grand opening day - Sat Dec 21, 2024). Meal was outstanding, drinks were so delicious, service was exceptional. Pii, Tom, Pham and Ink were so welcoming and made the dining experience memorable. The hardest part was choosing from all the amazing dishes on the menu; I walked away happy and content. I can t wait to head back soon! Vegetarian options: The restaurant is accommodating with any dietary restrictions you may have Parking: Green P Parking is available on the street Kid-friendliness: This is a very kid / family friendly restaurant. It s also great for birthdays, anniversaries, group dinners.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing drink bartender made an incredible lime juice drink!
Chargrilled chicken is what I ll be going back for! The sticky rice in my opinion was a little mushy and overcooked but will give it another try. Food
Excellent food, great and fast service and we will definitively come to your new location as soon as it opens.
The food is delicious and wonderful! The staff s were nice and amazing! Food
I ve been here a few times over the past year and the food and the service is always EXCEPTIONAL! As much as their menu has very tempting options, I always come back for the khao soi! Seriously, the best! I was never really a fan of khao soi, until I tried the one at Pii Nong Thai. The staff are very attentive and they work very hard. Someone will always come by to refill our water and check in to see if we need anything. Well done Pii Nong Thai team!
My favourite Thai spot in the GTA. Incredible food and service.
Decent prices and fast service, also you know the food is legit when there are actual Thai people dining here.
Today, I order Kao Soi & Papaya Salad from UBER. It was so delicious like Traditional Kaosoi from North of Thailand , Papaya salad portion was pretty tiny but anywhere taste was so good Sour & Sweet. P.s. I didnt expect that would be awesome because of delivery food. But after tried..100% be back to re-order and dine in for sure.
this spot is rad, glad i checked it off my bucket list. i would say the food was mid like 7.5/10 and also portion size but the thai iced tea is the real reason you come here with the little bear. its unique. the place is also spacious and cool, the staff are all so nice. i m gonna try something different next time cause the pad see ew was just ok. feel like the tofu was cooked well but my mistake was also getting beef
10 stars out of 5, I absolutely love this restaurant, the flavours are very authentic, taking me on a emotional roller coaster. Because I m related to Thai, I had always ate Thai foods, but I could never find a good place with authentic taste. The servers are nice and are very interactive, making the eating atmosphere feel very warm. Overall? This is BY FAR the BEST!!! Thai restaurant that I ve been to!!!
This is definitely one of the higher tier Thai places in Toronto...up there with Pai, Wang Lang and Koh Lipe in my opinion. The betel leaf shrimp wrap was one of a kind. Cant say Ive had anything like it - it has a sweet herbal, very limey and then meaty flavor from the shrimp to round it out. Their pad Thai is very good. If it had more wok hey it would be excellent. Short ribs were slightly sweet and held a distinct charred flavor - also very enjoyable. I rarely give 5 stars but I think its deserving in this case.
OMG what a treat, I was introduced to this restaurant by my friend, tonight we are celebrating the birthday of three ladies the food and service is amazing, tonight I have experience the best Thai food in Toronto. Definitely I will return.
Outstanding service and they backed it up with really good food! A hidden gem.
Best authentic Thai place in town! Chef Pii Nong cooks from the heart! Fam, the manager, was so welcoming and friendly as well! Warm, comforting Kao Soi with just the right amount of spice and unbelievable richness. Velvety soup. Tom yum soup was hot and delicious with juicy chicken. Look out for their grand opening in Yonge and Lawrence!!
The food is absolutely delicious and very kind and attentive staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
Best Thai food in Toronto
Good spot for Thai food. food is a bit salty. nice staff ^^
They took ice tea too literally (How much ice is left after finishing the drink) Food
Absolutely delicious food, presented beautifully and served graciously.
This restaurant is very busy. Reservations are highly recommended. Service was good. Food was decent. The seabass was super small and not very fresh which is why i took off 1 star
The best Thai restaurant in Toronto. We come here almost every week. Nice staff nice food. Highly recommend btw seabass is a good choic if you like fish. Food
I recently visited this place. It has great selection of food and they can make almost everything in Vegetarian. The staff are very kind and the ambience is really good. It is almost always crowed. The portion size is pretty good and might be alot for 1 person.
We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, and yum woon sen, everything was very fresh and authentic. The service was warm and friendly.
Tasty food and super friendly staff!
Pii Nong Thai is one of my favourite Thai places to eat at. The food is always superb and the staff are very nice. Our order is usually the Tom yum soup, Thai crispy chicken wings, pad Thai, pad see ew, and mango sticky rice. Everything is always so delicious. They also make sure that the quality of food is the best. One time we ordered the mango sticky rice and the server said that the mangos werent ripe and didnt reach the restaurant standard and then suggested a different dessert; the honesty and quality they uphold are amazing. Highly recommend.
Food was very mediocre. The two Pad Thai dishes we had were very bland and disappointing. The seafood curry was good. Appetizers were meh too.
Great food, friendly staff. We love this place and always return
It was an amazing meal
Everything we ordered was really delicious, but I did notice the portion sizes were smaller compared to other Thai restaurants, and the dishes were a bit heavier on the oil.
I ordered on uber eats from here, thai basil chicken from their lunch menu. The chicken came entirely undercooked, still pink inside. This is food safety issue. Never ordering from here again.
One of our favourite Thai restaurants in the city! Food is always delicious with generous portions especially for their lunch special. Decor is absolutely authentic and gorgeous and service is excellent. So happy they are moving closer to us on Yonge and Lawrence soon! The best mango sticky rice anywhere in terms of presentation and uniqueness
Had dinner at this restaurant with my family for the first time. We all enjoyed our food. Service was great, the place is very welcoming. Everyone is polite and pleasant. The menu has a lot of options and food was delicious. Will definitely go back.
We arrived close to closing time. They were very clear about the time wed have to leave, but also impeccably polite and gave clear answers about accommodating food allergies. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was elegant, without being over the top. We will be back. The bathroom was serviceable and relatively clean, but did not live up to the standards of the rest of the restaurant. Loose toilet seats are not ok! Dietary restrictions: Their menu is clearly labeled and includes 2 ratings for gluten free so you can match your risk profile.
genuine thai food. but very small portion
Impressed by the food! The Tom yum tastes just like the ones you would get at a night market in Thailand. Very flavorful. We also enjoyed the khao soi noodles a lot - just like the ones we can get in Chiang Mai! We even ordered extra noodles for the bowl haha. Servers were very sweet and kind. Food came out fast. Can t wait to go back and try other items. Would say this is one of the more authentic Thai restaurants in the area.
Delicious Thai food with several options to fit many tastes. Definitely recommend the mango sticky rice as a dessert. The service here is kind and friendly.
Great place! Went without reservation on Sunday around 5pm and they were able to squeeze us in. Very tasty food with good flavours. Menu isnt crazy expensive either and portions are good sized. Definitely worth another visit!
Pretty good Thai spot in Leaside.
Good food for people who dont know what food Thai food tastes like
Excellent service! Staff was so friendly.... great food
I swear to god that the food is lace with magic or something! It is unbelievably how good everything is. Non of the dishes has any flaw, which shock me. I would give this place Michelin start if I could. The server was really friendly and welcoming. Our group of four ordered papaya salad, soft shell crab, pineapple rice, pad Thai, Tom kha and for dessert we got mango stick rice, durian treat and coconut ice cream. All the food is fresh and delicious, the sweet, salty, spicy, umami and sour blended well nicely. It been a long time since my taste bud has dance, and the food did that. The Thai milk tea is not too sweet, it is perfect. The teddy bear was just too adorable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I will be back for more
We have been ordering from them on ubereats and dine in for a long time. They are very accommodating when we put a note on ubereats in terms of the alternatives. Food is clean. We haven t found anything in the food like we did with other restaurants. Food is freshly made and taste very good. Overall. Very good business practice and trustworthy. Vegan and vegetarian friendly
Amazing! All the people working there are extremely nice! Love the vibe and the food is exactly like the taste of Thailand local food
I come here every time I visit Toronto, my favourite dish is the Pad See Ew, but they have tons of other delicious dishes. I think I like their food more than Pai.
If you re craving top-notch Thai food in Toronto, you ve found your spot. Pinong is an absolute gem and easily one of the best Ive had in the city. Right from the start, you can tell you re in for something special. The service is outstanding warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The manager even came over to chat and make sure everything was perfect, which really added a personal touch to the experience. Let s talk food: the papaya salad was a standout. It was so fresh, with a perfectly seasoned fish sauce that made it one of the best I ve ever had. The Thai crispy wings were another highlight crispy, flavorful, and just plain delicious. For the main courses, we had the Khao Soi and Thai yellow curry fried rice. Both dishes were bursting with flavor and we couldnt stop eating it. Dessert was a treat too. We tried the assorted mango sticky rice, which included pandan, Thai milk tea, mango, and butterfly pea flower flavors. Each one was a delightful surprise. And the Thai milk tea? It came with ice shaped like adorable little bears such a cute touch! All in all, this restaurant nails it on every front. Fantastic food, amazing service, and a genuine passion for Thai cuisine. If you haven t been yet, you re missing out. Make sure to visit you won t regret it!
The service and food were great!
Not very good. The shrimp salad roll had just one lonely shrimp in it. And the green curry chicken was quite runny. Not inedible, but probably the worst Thai food Ive had in Toronto.
All the food here is delicious. I like Thai food, good service, good atmosphere.
Everything was excellent. Food, service, atmosphere
The teddy bear ice in the Thai milk tea order made my day
Before we even finished our meal, we were already urged to pay the bill.
Delicious food, great staff! The food was delicious & quick and the staff was excellent. Highly recommend going.
This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. Their lunch deals are fantastic, and their Thai iced milk tea is creamy and refreshing. Also had their sugar cane juice and it was perfect for a summer day. The Pandan chicken is a great crowd pleaser, and I enjoyed their pad Thai and pad gra prow. I think their massa man curry was my favourite though. Creamy, rich, and satisfying.
BEST Thai food in Toronto, hands down. Crab curry was especially good! Service was wonderful as well.
So authentic, so delicious, so affordable. Service so amazing, and this is a hidden local favourite. They really care about their customers; Vam was very passionate about the food they make, keeps emphasising that all foods are made from imported and fresh ingredients instead of pre-made soup broth.
Service was prompt and courteous, with the staff making sure our experience was comfortable and enjoyable. Although parking was a bit of a challenge, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere more than compensated for the minor inconvenience. In all, Pii Nong Thai is a delightful spot that serves up authentic Thai cuisine with a side of warm hospitality. It s definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to indulge in the flavors of Thailand.
The wait was long, meanwhile there are empty tables, we ordered the set menu for 4 and we got three plates of spring rolls and other dishes portion are extremely small. How many spring rolls can you eat? Nevercomig back.
A neat spot in the middle of the city. I went there due to the rave reviews. I ordered the famous khao Soi with beef. And the soft shell crab curry (good for sharing). Both were delicious! The Thai iced tea was good too. I didn t have to get reservations. It was a Sunday and I had a late lunch around 2pm so the restaurant was half empty. It s very family friendly. The staff was lovely and attentive. They have halal chicken options, but not beef if anyone is interested to know.
I absolutely hate pad thai, but this place has the only ones i like. Green curry is an explosion of taste and we ordered something else with fried nuddles, similiar to a curry with coconut sauce, which was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend
We saw the promotion of the tower on Instagram and decided to try it. Me and my friend never finished eating something so quick ... A excellent combination of a bit of fried food, grilled and raw. The tower was perfect for 2 people. I had the Thai miLk Tea bear with Rhum (since I dont like coconut). It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back for other things on the menu
The Most Luxurious Thai Feast in Toronto! Celebrate Thai New Year at Pii Nong Thai with their SongKran Golden Tower, which costs only $59 (original price $120)! This is super valuable as the portion is for four people and the tower includes a wide range of irresistible seafood items and skewers!! ! From all the Thai restaurants Ive tried in Toronto, Pii Nong has the closest flavor to the food Ive eaten in Bangkok. While Thai restaurants here are geared more towards the Western palate (sweet and sour) or are overly sweet, Pii Nong stays authentic! This is the first Thai restaurant in Toronto that offers marinated seafood (let me know if theres another one!) This is the best Thai meal I had in Toronto What s in the tower: Top Tier: (Betel Leaf Wrap) Miang Kham (Thai betel leaf wrap with galanga shrimp paste jam) Middle Tier (Hot Food): Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls Grilled Beef Skewers Grilled Fish Cake Skewers Thai Crispy Wings Thin Rice Vermicelli Bottom Tier (Seafood Items): Marinated Raw Prawns Thai Marinated Salmon Sashimi Marinated Conch Meat Marinated Squid Papaya Salad with Deep Fried Shrimp Heads Highly recommended Thai food! ! ! Pii Nong is the name of the chef. How can we understand it? They have all kinds of Thai food. You can tell him in advance what kind of food you want to eat. Let s talk about this Thai three-layer snack plate. It s really delicious and rich Authentic taste Zhongyou raw pickled seafood Super delicious Desserts, milk tea, appetizers and main dishes are all of high quality. Everyone must go Yelp Elite 2 Google lv 8 local guide Pm for collab
Ordered quite a few dishes. No spice level at all and while I ordered a dish with no mushrooms, it was FILLED with them. YUCK. Won t order again
My friends & I had a very pleasant experience here. We had a reservation but arrived half an hour late due to traffic. The host managed to accommodate us & find us a table. The food we had was delicious all the way to the dessert. Highly recommended. Top notch service from their crew as well.
We have been in this place for couple of times. The Tom yum hot pot has a lot of seafood and very tasty. Their Teddy bear drink (Mango juice), Sticky rice, Mango salad are amazing!! Must try! The service is also good and friendly!
I really liked it! The waitresses were very nice and polite, the food came out rather quickly and was very good. We didnt feel like we were being rushed. I greatly appreciated it and would definitely recommend.
Very disappointing experience. Ordered grilled pineapple fried rice, bangkok charcoal grilled chicken platter, and fresh coconut ice cream. On the menu description and picture shown, it says the rice will be served in half a pineapple shell. It was not, and I was quite dissatisfied. I asked the female server about it, and wow I hope I m mistaken, but she rolled her eyes on the way to our table. She continued to make excuses that it s just how it is and seemed very dismissive and annoyed at the conversation. The pineapple is clearly not half of the shell, and serves 3 slices of pineapple. It is a misleading information for the people expecting to experience enjoying their meal in the pineapple shell. The rice and the platter were actually quite good. What was additionally disappointing was the coconut ice cream was premade and frozen in the freezer. The ice cream is hard, the coconut is icy. In no way is this a fresh coconut ice cream like it states in its menu. I was expecting the coconut sherbet quality I had at PAI, and was disappointed. The coconut is also quite small. The establishment can improve their customer service and their transparency, and I was highly unimpressed by them. Do not mislead the customers with the information that you are not going to deliver, or at least acknowledge it and improve it.
Came here for the iced Thai tea teddy but everything we ordered exceeded our expectations! They were very busy on a Wed night which was already a good sign. Even though they were fully seated that didn t impact on their quality or speed of service. We were looked after my several staff but we want to give our special thanks to Fam! She was friendly, funny and great at making recommendations. Everything we ordered came out fresh, hot and delusions. Will definitely come back to try more dishes!
The food here is delicious, and the servers are so kind. I had the street pad Thai and loved it. Highly recommend!
Super delicious food plus veryyy welcoming Staff.
Pii Nong Thai offers an authentic taste of Thailand thats hard to beat. Their Pad Thai Chicken is a must-try! Tender chicken, perfectly stir-fried noodles, and a flavorful tamarind sauce come together to create a dish thats simply irresistible. Fresh ingredients and expert preparation make this Pad Thai Chicken a standout dish. Whether youre a Thai food lover or new to the cuisine, this dish is sure to delight your taste buds.
Great food and the Manager has a great personality~ Will go again in the future
Very happy coming here with friends for birthday party love the customer service and really fresh food
Food is authentic, tasty and fresh. I had the Khao Soi Beef. Curry was rich and flavourful. Beef was tender. Everything came together quite well. The Thai Ice Tea comes with a cute bear. Aesthetic and delicious. I ll be back
Amazingly delicious. Fantastic staff. Lovely place.
We come from Calgary, This is the best Thai restaurant we ever had, gorgeous and lovely food and service, Fam is the best, we appreciate her hospitality and personality serve, definitely will come back for our next time visit!!!
Wow. I m speechless. Everything tasted so good and so authentic. I now daydream about this place. The mango sticky rice with the mango sauce was unbelievable. Definitely going to be back this week.
Delicious meal with a nice atmosphere! We tried the Songkran golden tower which apparently was on special down from $100 to $59. It had a great variety of items including skewers, shrimp, salad, chicken wings, leaf wraps, and more! Definitely recommend it when its on promotion. The rest of the food was great. In particular the pad Thai and the pad kee mao were really good. Service was good overall, but they are a smaller restaurant that relies on tables turning over, so you may feel a little bit of pressure to leave soon after eating (which is understandable within reason).
The service is good, especially the vietnamese waiter is enthusiastic.
The presenting is so exquisite! Food are delicious too
Good restaurant. Some dishes are hit and miss.
Amazing food and service
its my favorite Thai place in toronto.
Absolutely delicious
Worst experience ever. Ill never go there again ever.
I went to a restaurant recently for a two course meal and drinks. I dont earn a lot of money and it was an expensive night out for me and was just really underwhelming. Every time I wanted to order something Id have to spend a minute or so catching servers eyes to try and get their attention, everything I ordered was so slow id have to chase it. When the food came, the server didnt know what it was (like it came with sauces and when I asked what they were, just out of interest, the server didnt know and had to ask). I got a steak and asked for medium rare and it was definitely well done.
Never ever go there
Food
Very delicious and very friendly Thai Restaurant in GTA
We had a reservation at Pii Nong on a Friday at 6:30. The restaurant was packed. The hottest just pointed us the table. The table was wobbly and we asked the waiter to fix it. A party of 6 sitting across from us and they were very loud and rowdy. We asked the waiter for a bowl and plate, she forgot about us and we had to ask twice. Then only the bowl came, no plate. The washroom was filthy. We ordered Pandan leaf chicken, Crispy lemon fish, Pad Woon Sen. Each dish was very flavourful and nicely presented. We really enjoyed it. The food was really good. We would go back for the food. We were not amazed with the service and atmosphere.
Came here to have some dinner and I was stunned by this place. I called in for a reservation earlier in the day so they got us seated right away at a very nice booth. The staff were very nice and gave us lots of recommendations on what to eat and their specials. We ended up ordered a ton of different dish and all of them were absolutely delectable! If you re craving some Thai food this place should definitely get added to your to-do list!
Waiters are so kind, food came out very quickly, and everything was so yummy! The waiter explained what each sticky rice flavor was for the Mango Sticky Rice as well. Recommend the Thai Tea set, Panang Curry, short ribs, and mango salad!!!
Ordered No Cilantro but served with culantro which is stronger than cilantro according to google. I asked that is not what I ordered but they tried to convince me to take served one Because culantro is not cilantro and I ordered No cilantro. I just gave it to my friend :/ Isnt it same as ordered without shrimp but served with prawns??? Other foods are good, but bit pricy
Food is delicious, I had the Khao Soi and it was one of the best in town. Very flavourful. The service was also great.
Excellent food, fresh, taste delicious with very good service. Taste like you are in Thailand.!
There is not really organization thai food.
Amazing food and spectacular service that went above and beyond all our expectations !! I personally loved all their dishes, there was so much flavour and was so authentic !! I will definitely be coming back and bringing my friends and family !!
Tom yum soup was on point!
Very kids friendly. Like each dishes and kids love the bear milk tea:) A good place for celebrating special moment as well:)
Lovely vibe, very busy for a Monday evening - so right away we knew must be good. We had: Tom Ka Gai - Sharing size with tiger shrimp extra (comes with chicken) little spicy but good! Massaman beef curry with coconut rice Again very good ...not too sweet, more runny than thick. Service was quick and not hovering... Will definitely be back and Id recommend trying it
Piinong Thai is a gem that transports you directly to Thailand with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality. Chef Nanas culinary skills are truly extraordinary , especially in the Tom Yum Soup, which brought me the closest Ive been to Thailands vibrant tastes outside of the country. The freshness ingredients like lemongrass and kaffir limes are distinct and does not overpower the seafood used in the soup. Our table was equally impressed by the service by Famsai, who not only was attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations that elevated our dining experience. Piinong Thai is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Thai cuisine served with outstanding hospitality!
Amazing food & quality. Spices & sauces are so flavourful. The tower for $60 is well worth it. The lettuce wrap up top was really good & the beef & the other skewer were so soft & tender. It was amazing. Mango sticky rice was also really good. Smaller portion of mango but nonetheless still amazing. I d def be coming back. Oh calamari is amazing
Very good authentic Thai food . Definitely will be back .
went for lunch and ordered the pad thai with 2 sides of veggie spring rolls and pad see ew with a side of veggie spring rolls and a side of butterfly coconut shrimp for an additional $2. the spring rolls were average (2 per order) - kinda hard to mess those up the butterfly coconut shrimp was good but they only give one piece per order so i probably wouldn t order it as a lunch special side again. the pad see ew was bland and the noodles weren t evenly coated with sauce. there were many white, unsauced noodles. however, on my way out, i saw someone else s pad see ew and it looked much better than mine, so maybe it was just my dish that was lacking. the pad thai was a little better in terms of flavor, but nothing that i would come back for. imo, chiang rai s pad thai is much better. maybe their other dishes are better, but i wouldn t recommend the dishes that we ordered today. in terms of the service, the waitress was super nice and friendly.
Very good food except the clam is very spicy even we have emphasized in mild at order. Overall, it is good
The restaurant is beautiful in the inside. They had soo many options...it was very hard to choose. We got the Thai ice tea which is a must. We also got the rice and hot pot seafood soup both soo good. Definitely a restaurant I would go back to.
The last time we had food like this was in Thailand. Great flavours, friendly and knowledgeable staff. A real gem! We are looking forward to going back.
So amazing food here! The food is authentic, the environment is cozy and the service is great! Ink is a very nice lady who serve us, she introduced the food for us and give us very good recommendations, thank you Ink! Strongly recommend!
Went here for birthday dinner and it was a great experience! Cutest Thai iced Tea display! My favourite was the Tomyum soup. Flavourful and spicy! The noodles were yummy. You can taste the smokiness from the wok. The durian crepe could be a little crispier but it was tasty! The dishes were all so pretty. The service was amazing and even the owner came and chat with us and gave us a free dessert! Limited high chair so I would Recommend requesting it ahead of time with your reservation.
Overpriced. $22 plus tax for this much. Mind you this is the really small and shallow container. Food is good but portion is disappointing..
Great presentation. A little salty for me.
In thai : Very delicious, the light comes out of your mouth. You have to come and eat at the restaurant. They can make it taste like Thai people, but you have to tell them first. The quantity is worth the price unlike other stores. Lets just say, come eat. In English : I think this is the best authentic Thai food, actually by thai chief. The quality and quality is also great. Overall its good to come to this place.
Service is okay, they really push for tips even on pick up orders. Food is decent but could do with better hygiene.
The noodles were amazing, but the beef was not the sides were okay. I would visit again to try the pad thai if I am in the area.
Everything we ordered was so good, except the today special~see bass. Its kind of over cooked, But the flavor was still good! Its a little pricey. I would say nothing bad expect the parking problem. Parking: Dont try to park at the residency area. We got tickets tonight even it was Sunday night. I hope they could have reminded the customers.
Overall amazing food! Great flavours and reasonable portions. Be careful with spice levels - the standard is pretty hot/ spicy. We did feel rushed out a little bit and the servers did not bother clearing plates in between courses which meant our table got crowded with dishes. I would go back for the food!
The food , the ambience everything was very good. I would visit this again. Vegetarian options: Plenty of dishes that can be made vegetarian. Food : 5/5 |
The mango sticky rice was the saving grace of the night for us. We decided to go here on a Friday night and called in an hour ahead and were told that we would be seated at 8:15. After arriving at 7:45( in hopes of being seated earlier), we saw at least 3 tables empty and asked if they could bump us ahead. But they said for some reason we cannot be seated before 8:15. Even after being seated in the same seat ( that was empty for half hr) at 8:15 nobody came to take our order till 8:30. The staff was overwhelmed and couldnt answer questions about the menu. Finally the person who greeted us at the front came to take our order but did not ask us the spice level. Later when the food came, it was not according to our palates and we were told you should have asked for Thai spicy. At most Thai restaurants in the city we ask for medium spice and are served tasty palatable food. I dont agree with the lack of taste being pointed to us not asking for Thai spicy food. Needless to say, we wont be returning because of the underwhelming experience with the food and the staff. Vegetarian options: Limited
I came to have lunch. It was an amazing meal. I ordered the Crispy honey ginger beef. It exceeded my expectations. The taste is really great. The wait staff provides good service. The atmosphere of the shop is beautiful and very Thai. I will definitely come back to eat again.
There was a benefit to pick up of order. The food was warm, service for pick up was nice
A pleasant experience, would recommend.
Delicious food. Lots of gluten free and/or vegan options. Extremely good customer service. Food arrived so fast. Cant recommend them more. Try the coconut ice cream!
I like Wonton soup but when my son orders a soup and it is 90% noodles and 10% broth it was honestly disgusting me and my other son ordered rice 2 different things the entire dish was the same but one had different colour rice. It should not be called chicken when it has 2 pieces of microscopic chicken. Not impressed dont come here. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly
Good taste and tomyum soup is little bit sour :/
Quality authentic Thai food. Excellent experience.
The crab dish was awfully oily and service wasn t good either.
Awsome food, very respectful and friendly staff. I strongly recommend this place.
Trusted the reviews and tried the massaman curry with beef and mango sticky rice. Very disappointed in the taste and texture of the curry. Overly sweet with only a hint of tamarind and the beef was very chewy. The dessert also scored below the average mango sticky rice you d find at any Thai place. Unfortunate that I will not be ordering again because I tea conveniently close to home.
Delicious food! Not too greasy, excellent flavours, attentive staff! I highly recommend if you want a good Thai food experience! Food : 5/5
I think this is the best Thai restaurant Ive been to. The food is absolutely amazing!!! Service is 6 stars too. I wished that there was more vegetable - vegetarian entrees, but the 2 that they have is incredible. Highly recommended. Give them a try.
The place is very cozy and nice decor. Good Thai food - my fav is Chiang Mai Khao Soi, the coconut curry flavor is amazing. I tried the other curry on the menu, its good but I find it a bit salty.
This is my to-go Thai restaurant. I love Thai food and I think this is one of the most authentic Thai food in Toronto. My fav dish is papaya salad there but overall most of their dishes are great! And more importantly, their customer service is AMAZING .all of their staff are so nice and accommodating. They totally make your dining experience more enjoyable
The Thai iced teddy bear milk tea won my heart! all the dishes we ordered were pretty good, my favourite were the pandan leaf chicken super tender/juicy and spicy tom yum hotpot, hit the spot for me. will definitely come back to try other dishes.
in nice
Food is delicious, place is beautiful and well designed, staff is lovely kind and attentive. Very nice experience here
Service was amazing, food wasn t bad but it also wasn t amazing - the best thing I had was the mango salad. The street pad Thai was a bit plain with large chunks of bland tofu and no vegetables. Unfortunately though the staff decided to mop the dining room during lunch which ruined my entire experience, the washroom floors were also wet and sticky.
So so good. Everything was delicious and so intricate. Loved it!
Good taste but little portion lol.
Good tasty dishes and reasonable prices, our order came fast . Good environment also service was good.
We have already been twice, both times during lunch when you can taste many dishes at a reasonable price.
This restaurant is all about flavour experience. It has been a long while since Ive tried such a delicious Tom Yum soup. Will comeback with kids and friends.
It s delicious. Follow my guide and you won t get lost.
The khao soi is AMAZING
Best Thai food I ve had in Toronto. We ordered Thai spicy set for 2 (super spicy but super delicious, worth burning my mouth ), and a drunk Thai bear ( so cute ). Will come back again 100%!!! Vegetarian options: Royal veggie set for 2
I only ordered Tom Yum soup from this restaurant and so far it is my favourite Tom Yum in the city!
Good food and service. Love Singha Thai beer.
More varieties, fusion presentation.
We ordered the pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice from here (Uber eats) and wow. Worst Thai food I ve ever had. The pad Thai tasted stale and bland. Had to throw it out. The pineapple fried rice did not have a SINGLE piece of pineapple in it. Truly horrendous food. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
Love the cute, tasty thai milk tea..really enjoyed the authentic thai dishes. Love the food presentation. Must try!
Such great experience at this restaurant! Owner is extremely friendly, can t wait till their new location opens in Dec. Thai ice tea is a must have, not only it taste good but also the presentation. Mango sticky rice, soft shell crab curry, shrimp Tom yum, pineapple fried rice . Nothing disappoints. Hope one day they can open one in Ottawa!
Dont trust the menu outside as the menu is not updated, the price is different when you are ready to pay. Worst experience ever.
Very good food and service! A bit pricey though, in my opinion.
Authentic Thai. If I close my eyes I feel like I m eating in Thailand; it tastes so fresh. Usually Thai restaurants are lacking that depth of flavour.
Very authentic thai restaurant. They told us that they will be changing locations to somewhere along lawrence. Came here during a quiet lunch, food was amazing! Pad see ew was 10/10, absolutely perfect. I ended up getting 2 more for take out for the rest of my family. Deep fried calamari was good, the sauce that came with it made it perfect as well. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes.
Wonderful neighborhood thai dining!
It is very lovely Thai restaurant since I ever tried in Toronto. The food is very good. Moreover the owner and staffs gave us excellent service. We are so impressed.
Not the first time i try Thai food but this is the best from now
UPDATE: I was given a dried out lime for my takeout . Food was above average. The only knock on this place was the portion you get for the amount you pay is overpriced. Definitely similar or better Thai food in the city for lesser price/bigger portion(Great value).
Amazing Thai experience. Definitely recommend!
Good quality and reasonable price overall very good
Get the mango sticky rice
We ordered Pii Nong for our holiday dinner for 40 people. It was a big hit, everyone loved the food. The restaurant was able to meet our needs and dietary restrictions and work with us to make the perfect order. Thank you for the delicious food and wonderful customer service!
Made a reservation at 6:30pm for 2. The food was amazing and authentic. We kept ordering more plates to try because it was that good. Service was fast and the servers was nice. Would definitely come back.
I went to eat today, ordered glass noodle salad, stir-fried morning glory, and clear noodle soup for my daughter. Everything was very delicious, just like eating in Thailand. Thai tea is mellow and not too sweet. Very good service, impressive Will definitely go back.
Beautiful presentation of their delicious meals. Take out is good, but dining in is very special. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.
Food was good, but I wouldnt say it was spectacular. Service was excellent.
Absolutely amazing. My new favorite Thai place in Toronto. Pai move over. This restaurant is rightfully expanding to a new location soon. We had the pad Thai, chicken wings, wrapped chicken and the Mango sticky rice desert. Every dish was delicious. I believe the pad Thai defines the quality of Thai restaurant and their pad Thai was top notch. Looking forward to visiting this restaurant again.
The service was excellent! I ordered a few specialties and they tasted good Tom Yum Goong (shrimp), pi Thai (beef), leaf chicken, coconut ice cream, sticky rice, durian cake
Ordered catering for a team holiday lunch. Tom was great to work with and put together a menu that met dietary restrictions, provided variety, and stayed within budget. A generous feast was delivered on time and the food was fresh and delicious. Thanks, Tom! Food
There were a whole bunch of dead clams in what we ordered, curry was not fresh, likely precooked and heated up, peanuts in the curry tastes soggy. Food is just average, any other Thai food downtown could easily win over this with fresher and better food. Dunno why this place was so hyped.
Great neighborhood Thai place! Consistent quality and taste throughout the years. Also very satisfying value for price. Hope they can make it to the Michelin guide one day, they deserve it!
Excellent quality, very friendly staff. We got the lunch special! Fair prices. Will be back!
Delicious food & excellent service
