A great café with really good coffee and food, which is dog friendly too. I was having the worst day - popped a tyre and was stranded with my dog in Morningside. I came across this lovely place - the staff are warm and welcoming. They were so nice about me having to leave last minute (when I finally got a ride home) and wrapped up my food with no issues - the chicken pesto panini is so tasty with generous side salad. Id definitely recommend! Thanks for making my stressful morning a little bit better!

Food and service is amazing here, Turkish breakfast was very filling. I had a Marlenka cake and it was super tasty, never saw it anywhere else. Staff and owners go out of their way to provide the best. We will be back soon.

I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon this cafe when I was looking for a place for quick lunch, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. With the exceptional customer service and delicious coffee. It is really difficult for me to find a good place for coffee as I used to be a barista, my expectations are very high and this place checks all of the boxes. There is a lot of thought and care put into this place and heads down to the staff for making every customer feel special and appreciated. It is really an art to make a coffee shop - an experience for customers. Highly recommend.

Me and my amazing boyfriend were looking for a quick bite to eat before sadly leaving that beautiful city that is Edinburgh. We walked across Café Blush as it was near our hotel. Not only the people were very very lovely and made our breakfast even better, but the food was very tasty! We had paninis and both the chicken and the goat one were delicious! The moccha was incredible! I highly recommend that charming little place if you are spending time in lovely lovely Edinburgh:)

Went for breakfast, initially a bacon roll, but went the whole hog with a full breakfast. Omg, it was excellent, well cooked, well presented, with thick bacon, Haggis, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, beans, toast the whole works. Cant be faulted, excellent

Got charged £2.50 for lettuce on my bacon roll....only in Scotland...

I popped in for a takeaway lunch on Monday. The tomato and basil soup and cheese salad roll were completely delicious and just exactly what I wanted. The service was really great too, friendly and calm. I have sensory issues and the lady who served me seemed to recognise that I was a but delicate and without making a fuss helped me get in and out of there like an everyday person, I was grateful. I took a couple of cheesecakes away for my friend and her daughter and although I didnt try them myself I was reliably informed that they were yummy. The tables seemed full of satisfied customers and I will definitely be going back.

I went there because nothing else was open and I needed something substantial to eat. I was very pleased with the freshly cooked Spanish omelette and the salad. My son had a panini with a coffee. The whole bill was only £15. I will definitely go there again even if other cafes are open. Incidentally the toilets were clean and the social distancing and sanitizing rules were followed. All in all a great find.

Had a very nice latte here which was much nicer than the offering from nearby cafe Nero. However, much to my embarrassment I walked out of the cafe, having forgotten to pay. Fortunately, my companion reminded me and I was in able to return before the barista had a chance to chase me up the street.

They do a fantastic loose leaf apple & cinnamon tea - I highly recommend it. Some of their cakes are quite nice, too, though pricey. Their lunch options are good, too.

Food quality hit and miss. In the past waiting staff were friendly and welcoming but ate there recently when one waitress was unfriendly and the other very patronising. Will not be returning and neither will my friends, who live in the area.

This is a lovely little gem of a place. Dont be disappointed if you cant get a seat because they are so busy. Try again. Worth waiting for. Staff so nice.

Lovely wee cafe in Morningside, with impressive menu. Nothing too complicated but full breakfast, paninis, various egg on toast variations, nachos etc as well as good selection of drinks and cakes (though I general find the latter somewhat too sugary) . They usually have gluten free bread, can do vegetarian and possibly some vegan. Wheelchair access is limited, you would need help to get in as theres a step and quite a heavy door. The toilet may just about be accessible with a wheelchair. Its on level flooring with the cafe so once youre in this should be workable. It may be slightly awkward negotiating the toilet door, and the hand dryer is definitely too high for a wheelchair user.

Freshly made and very tasty light meal with a pot of tea. Owner of the cafe is the chef. Lovely family owned business. Reasonably priced and very pleasant décor.

Ive eaten here a number of times. Their Scottish breakfast is perfect. Its what you always dream of but usually never get. If thats your experience then make the trip to cafe blush. PS. and they know how to make coffee.

Straight forward cafe / greasy spoon. Good loose leaf tea. Bacon and egg roll well executed. The staff are very kind and friendly. Unfortunately they need a better extractor fan as the air can fill up a bit with oil smoke.
