My partner and I usually love coming to this place as it’s one of our favourites but today we were disappointed. I ordered a chicken with mozarella (pollo valdostana) and it was alright, nothing extraordinary. They said it would come with vegetables and potatoes but the vegetables were literally one broccoli, one cauliflower and like 3 little bits of potato (not even a whole new potato) for almost £18!! I was left hungy. Then, we ordered two glasses of white wine.. waitress came back with red wine. We didn’t say anything because we didn’t want it to go to waste, so we drank it. My partner ordered risotto mare and compared to other occasions, this one left much to be desired. The waitress was also not very kind, I can feel she was trying her best to be nice, but she seemed rather fed up and wanting to go home. I understand she might’ve been stressed, but her displeased attitude made me feel uncomfortable and I literally just wanted to leave. It really is a shame because I’ve always loved this place and had never disappointed before, but today both food and service left much to be desired. Probably won’t come back in a long time.
Consistently the best Italian restaurant here! Never would I'd thought carbonara to be my new favourite dish but here we are.
Food was just ok, cocktails quite basic. We were not expecting much for a quick meal (not the type of food I am going to write a review anyway) but not happy to feel rushed. At the door, they gave us two choices where to sit, with slightly longer dining time downstairs. That was our first time here (and the last for sure!) and we took some time to discuss what to order for sharing. The server was not patient to take our order and that was a bad start. Pasta was bland, overcooked, not al dente and did not taste like freshly homemade anyway. Focaccia not recommended either. Downstairs, tables were placed very close to one another and when the guests at the big table next to us got a bit drunk, there was a commotion and it got so madly noisy in the small, confined, congested space with lots of hard surfaces bouncing sound. We decided to leave early after a lady shouted at us suddenly and we had no clue what happened. No staff was coming to help, not even asked about how we felt about the situation. They server took our money and let us leave. The whole experience was bad enough. Not suitable for family dining with young children.
Mia Italian Kitchen is a nice, small Italian restaurant close to the bottom of Morningside. There is the main dining area at ground level and a slightly smaller area downstairs. The toilet doors have amusing signs. The food was delicious and portions just right. Service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Recommended.
Food over all nice, pork was wonderfully done, but if the linguine alla vongole were using fresh clams would be much nicer, the vongole pasta taste oily and bland. Service was minimal, feels like a bit reluctant to us. Dessert and espresso were sublime, especially the choc cheesecake, fluffy and light, perfect finale
I have been reviewing restaurants here in Edinburgh, where I live and abroad. I always make sure I gave a fair review so I can give info to people and help them choose good places and good food. We went here today to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food were really good and cocktails were good too. Our main server was kind and polite but the server who took our payment I found him rude. Literally seconds after tapping my bank card to pay our meal we were asked to leave the table in 5 mins. I found it really really rude. I understand that it gets busy but give us chance to put our jackets on, at least or go to the WC! It kinda ruined our night and left a bitter after taste.
Love this place! The restaurant is warm and comfortable with great staff that are very friendly and welcoming. The food was very delightful! The chef clearly pays attention to traditional Italian food. The quality shows in the ingredients. I can highly recommend the Cozze Mussels with capers and toasted bread. The sauce was beautifully seasoned and well balanced. The seafood ravioli was superb. Couldn’t fault it. Loved the garlic, chilli and white wine sauce. Perfectly balanced. The seabass was beautiful, delicate and cooked perfectly, served with a side of lovely seasonal oven roasted veg. The plate sizes are decent too so you won’t go hungry. Overall the food and drinks menu is very reasonably priced. The place was buzzing with energy and happy faces. It’s a new favourite for us. We had such a great night, and can’t wait till will return.
A great local Italian restaurant! Pizza, pasta, fish, beef and chicken, yes please. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are very kind, joyful and professional. Perhaps this is a common feature of Italian restaurants but I'm giving 4 stars because at peak times it gets so loud and noisy. We could barely hear each other. Otherwise, the food is delicious and perfect for a nice evening out.
My wifes and my first visit. I enjoyed everything We had a table downstairs therefore only a 4 for ambience. Food : 5/5
Excellent as always. Fabulous food and friendly staff.
Excellent in every respect. Perfect for lunch. Grazie Marco and Antonio. Food : 5/5
Met a friend for lunch so we went for 2 courses from the set menu. Excellent value. I recommend the bruschetta and arrabiata. Food
so amazing with my allergy needs, staff were incredible
Excellent food and service.
Great food reasonably priced. Staff attentive and friendly.
Lovely night out with the family. Food great.
Best pizza!
Tasty food and fast service
5/5
Food is below average everything we ordered didn t taste authentic Italian even basic stuff like a margarita pizza what s worst is that the waiter has a terrible attitude like he s offering us the food for free. Will not be coming back again and I am very surprised this place has this rating. This place is a two stars at best. You waste your money coming here there are way better options elsewhere
Food excellent as always , need to ditch the plastic flowers and the slushy cocktail machine. Disabled toilet really needs some attention, obviously had not been checked all day , overflowing bin and a disgusting rusty toilet brush holder needs replaced. Pity as the food is always great !
We book the table and we went after 30min drive and they said we don t have a table so we said why did you take the booking and the manager said I don t have space same thing and that man was so rude ..and it was my son birthday so disappointed
Really disappointing. Undercooked pizza. Tasteless pasta.
Went midweek and wasn t too busy but took 20mins before waitress took our drinks order so we ordered food at same time. Then food came before the drinks arrived (20mins after ordering). Staff are polite but sloppy service. Food was average, at best. Small portions. Had good meals here in the past but it s gone downhill :(
A lovely wee cafe. We popped in for a quick bite to eat. The food was good and the service was lovely too.
Poor all round. Service was slow. Had 2 fillet steaks which were of unacceptable quality. Have never had a fillet with so much fat and gristle, neither steak cooked as requested. One steak was twice as thick as the other and both cold? Waiter offered free desserts when we complained about steaks but then charged for them. One dessert portion twice the size of other. Large child allowed to use disabled toilet next to us with door open whilst we were eating. Dreadful experience. AVOID,!
The toilets are in the need of a good scrub all around the paint work it needs a fresh lick of paint to it the hand dryer should be replaced as it is filthy all the germs is getting thrown back on to your skin I had to dry my hands on toilet paper and use toilet paper to open the doors
We had lobster ravioli and nduja rigatoni, and a tiramisu for dessert. Very very good!
Rather poor. We ordered 3 carbonara, pizza and a linguini dish we can t recall. The pizza was quite good (but inferior to Matto along the road). The carbonara was poor with the egg in it scrambled.slightly. The linguini was bland, all pasta little else. The waiter was pleasant but came back from his break smelling of smoke. The waitress that we met at the door was awful, waving at us rudely while she spoke on the phone and then ignored us when we left. Definitely not a serious restaurant. More of a cafe in my opinion. Bill over £130 for 5 people (one course one and a half round of drinks most of which were soft). Decent Strawberry Daqiri. Not good value for money. Oh and the house red (a Merlot) is rank
No hesitation in giving 5 stars. A very relaxed atmosphere for lunch. Staff very attentive without being obtrusive Food
Great food friendly service
Very Nice, one of the best pizza Ive ever eaten
Great food. Very good staff.
Lovely food. Great ambience and reasonably priced
We visited Sunday afternoon, firstly the place needs a makeover drab woodchip wall ,not a lot attention to cleaning . Food was enjoyable, drinks a tad on the dear side ,service was good (there were only 3 tables in ) when the bill came ,for 2 mains a shared starter and a couple glasses of wine I nearly choked when I read £193 ???????, this was sorted but I do wonder what was on the servers mind as it was no where busy ,we were the last to leave of the 3 tables ,.upmarket Morningside!? Definitely the poor relation to Dalry
Food was excellent but expensive service was very good
Fresh and tasty at reasonable prices
Could do with updating. Exposed brick which is fine but with large areas of it plastetered.
Great food and service - the set lunch options on a Friday were a wonderfully relaxed way to ease into the weekend.
Enjoyed a relaxed family birthday celebration here on a late Monday afternoon!
Good food, friendly and helpful service. Quiet for a Friday. Will go again Food : 5/5
The sea breem was possibly the most delicious thing I have ever come into. Food became music. Even more, Daniel and everyone else was charming.
Was there last night to give it a try again after a disappointing first visit and nothing has changed put down stairs in a cold basement service was shocking got prawns that was nice main course spaghetti bolanase well hardly any meat all sauce and pasta however lesson learnt definitely will not return
Food was OK(ish). Please check your bill carefully as I had been overcharged for my wine. There were just 2 of us dining and we were charged an extra 10% service charge on our bill. Food
Such a lovely place for lunch. Amazing food and great service.
Fantastic Italian in Morningside. Amazing food and wonderful staff. It was a great experience- thank you Mia no wonder you were so busy last night!!! Will be back again xx Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian antipasti and risotto and both were delicious.
Lovely pizza. V tasty and reasonable prices
Food was so so. Service was fine but the waiter got the order wrong and brought the wrong food to our table. The cheese cake was the highlight. Nice relaxed atmosphere - visited 23.12.23
Firstly this place is so lovley, we were served by Magda (sorry if incorrect spelling) she was so helpful and kind during our experience here. We had the christmas two courses, I had mussles and salmon and was beyond superb, really nice food, atmosphere and staff. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again to our waiter.
Mia restaurants, amazing as always.
Super! Friendly kind and efficient. Being from the med I wanted more oil on my pasta linguine bit dry but otherwise terrific Well done second visit both great!
Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Service superb. Food exceptional Food
Amazing place for Italian.
Never been before and as I do not eat meat this Menu suited me very well. Will definitely go back.
Excellent night with good friends. Top class service tasty food and good size portions. Busy atmosphere and good buzz for a cold Thursday January evening. First time there but will not be the last
Sadly the reviews promised so much but reality delivered so little. Ordered 2 fillet steaks, they were completely different shapes, 1 a cube shape the other flat but both shared appalling quality and had mainly inedible grizzle and fat. They were not cooked well, the pepper sauce was tasteless and an extra £2.95 for approximately 20mls of sauce. Steaks came with potatoes and vegetables. Barely 1 whole potato and 3 pieces of veg left me still hungry. I said to the waiter about how terrible the steak was he said hed give us free dessert and didnt. Dessert was poor also. Panna cotta had split. The tiramisu was dry. This meal for 2 with 1 glass of wine cost £92. It was not worth it. Also during the meal a child used the disabled toilet close to where I sat, he didnt close the door, so the atmosphere was terrible too. Would never return.
Lovely lunch ,friendly family feel
Our first visit here. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic and authentic Italian food.
Very good value lunch deal. Nice food and atmosphere; service was friendly.
Very enjoyable well cooked food
Genuine Italian food. Great quality and service.
Food and service great as usual , had the chicken with mushrooms cream and white wine sauce . Was amazing
Experience was okay. The Haymarket location has a high end dinning experience. The location in Morningside is quite the opposite. Bathrooms were gross, smelly and the women s had no toilet seat. My salmon didn t feasts right so I sent it back and the server told me I still had to pay for it (later he changed his mind). My partner on the other hand enjoyed his meal.
Lovely food from the fixed price lunch menu, which is excellent value too. A very generous portion of home-made tiramisu to finish, whats not to like!
Carbonara was amazing. Pizza Diavola also. The service was really slow & perhaps because it was later on in the afternoon. A gpod few of choices we wpuld have made were not on offer sadly. It was only the service that really let it down. Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly
The waiter did a great job at taking care of us. However he was clearly put under unnecessary pressure by the rude boss/manager. I asked the manager for a WiFi password upon entering to access my voucher. He did not acknowledge my question and walked away without saying anything. The height of rudeness. I managed to get onto the WiFi eventually to get the discount voucher code. He then made us feel uncomfortable by saying we did not book correctly despite us having the voucher code and us making a reservation. The waiter apologised for the fuss created but I noticed during the meal that the manager pointed several times over to me when talking to our waiter. I don t know if the manager had a good upbringing, but it is considered rude to point in general, and especially at people. When leaving the premises, the waiter did a good job at making us feel warm and appreciated, but the manager did not acknowledge us when we were leaving, even though we walked right past his little podium. Overall food was decent enough, ok price, but the presence of the negative manager ruined the experience to the point where I will never return. He has zero aptitude for a customer facing role, seemed unnecessarily agro towards us and the waiter tending to us. Relax, manager, what s the problem? He created a situation out of absolutely nothing and created tension for us and the waiter. He created a horrible atmosphere. Why? It s just an Italian restaurant, chill out, it s really not complicated. Summary: - Walk in, shown our table - Asked for WiFi password to access voucher, ignored completely. - Told I booked our reservations wrong by the fussy manager via the polite charming waiter - While eating, the obnoxious manager was pointing at me a lot, the waiter looked stressed out by him. - Upon leaving, the manager did not acknowledge us or say thank you or goodbye. Unfortunate. Thumbs up for the Waiter. Thumbs down for rude manager boss guy.
Ask for pasta, you get soup.
Were regulars and food was as good as always
Very enjoyable dinner with friends, good food and vibes. Waiter was very attentive and available when we needed her/him. Had some nice wine from a varied choice and food was lovely. Worth the small detour to morningside from my he center edinburgh. Very enjoyable italian food, recommend !
Popped in for a late lunch and the food is still delicious and plentiful. Had a pizza carne and was super tasty (I prefer a slightly thinner base but the dough has a good chew and flavour so I dont mind) and my partner has spicy sausage rigatoni, which was full on flavour and pasta was cooked perfectly.
Food absolutely delicious and perfect portion size.
The restaurant was buzzing and the staff were very helpful and happy smiley people. The food was excellent. I couldn t fault it especially the pasta. Parking: I managed to find a parking space right outside the front door.
Great atmosphere, super food. Well recommended.
May favourite Italian restaurant and somewhere I always take family when they visit. This visit was no exception - delicious food and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Impromptu Saturday lunch great food and service as always Lovely busy vibe. Food
Such a lovely place with great food and very warm welcoming atmosphere very friendly staff and plenty of amazing Italian language around to hear definitely highly recommend it. Thank you for the excellent service and experience
Amazing and yummy food! Beautiful and quiet little place. Service is really polite and welcoming
Great service but the food was unseasoned and the pasta was over cooked.
We were three and whilst the food was ok, my carbonara was very heavy. The service could have been a bit cheerier. We found the place very noisy (Tuesday) which was a bit intrusive. Sorry, dont think well rush back - plenty others to choose from.
This is a great piece of pure Italy in Morningside discovered when a family member moved there. I have been 3 times now. Excellent pasta dishes; plump juicey muscle; great tiramisu and cheesecake. Book to be on the safe side.
Good food, overall the desserts
Kid-friendliness: nice Food
Wow 10/10. Wonderful venue, food and service at a great price. Children friendly , highly recommended. If we didnt live 12,000 miles away it we would be regular customers.
Very very delicious Italian food at a fair price. Everything we have tried here (pasta, pizza, fishes, soups) are great.
Minestrone soup was so tasty. Kids fish and chips was fresh, and tasty. Worth the money.
Wonderful restaurant at a very good price.
We went for a 60th birthday and the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make the night special. The food is great and can t recommend this place enough.
S.mall friendly place Good service. Vegetarian options: Good tasty good
Wonderful meal , I had lasagne and garlic bread . We were celebrating a birthday the staff made it extra special
A cut above my previous Italian gastronomic experiences!
Food was lovely, though the minestrone soup was more vegetable soup and charging £7.95 for 4 very small slices of buffalo mozzarella and 4 slices of tomato was just a tad overpriced, and we were served cold coffees, although replaced it was obvious the mocha had been put in the microwave, it certainly was not a fresh one . Atmosphere and service was good.
Did not enjoy my meal was more like a plate of soup. There was a hair in one of the other quests food but she did not like it anyway. They did not bill her for, but will not be back.
Good service at all times Parking: On street parking Recommended dishes Bruschetta, Pollo Funghi Crema, Quattro Stagioni Pizza Parking space
Awesome!
Great food and wine, friendly staff, great service!
Went to Mias for lunch last week. Not only was it very competitively priced for two courses, but it was one of the best meals Ive had out this year. The mussels were absolutely delicious and I will be returning again in the near future. The waiter was kind and friendly and overall a wonderful experience. Thankyou Mias!
Very enjoyable 1st experience at Morningside Mias Kitchen.
Enjoyable experience.
Kid-friendliness: very kid-friendly Food
Perfect!!! Everything is just fine, grazie!!
Was one of my first times trying Italian food, waiter was a gent and really enjoyed the atmosphere in particular. Would definitely recommend the tiramisu for dessert!
Very nice local Italian. Quite pricy. But very delicious. Would definaly recommend the foccacia.
Excellent food and drink. Vegetarian options limited in number but what I had was tasty and generous Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options good but not plentiful in number.
Excellent food and the waiters were lovely
Tasty food, quiet atmosphere, nice waiters, everything for a pleasant informal stop
Very mediocre. My wife had what can only be described as veg curry and pasta.
Best restaurant in Edinburgh
On arrival we were seated at the first table downstairs, unfortunately this table was directly in line with the open front door, resulting in a constant draft. Our drinks order was taken quickly initially, however we then waited 20 minutes to receive the drinks and our food order had not been taken yet. When our starters finally arrived, 2 of the same orders differed in presentation and ingredients and another one of the starters was not as described. When the mains were served, they were not all served at the same time (we were a party of 6), therefore half of the table had to wait a further 10 mins to begin eating their food as they had not been offered condiments. Due to the draft, we had asked staff to close the door, however this request was ignored. The wait time for staff to come back over to clear our table and the constant draft resulted in us not staying for any dessert and asking for the bill.
Delicious food. A great restaurant. A special thank you to Patricia who was absolutely lovely - so positive, friendly and kind.
The first few times we were there it was good. Yesterday, it was really cold, the risotto was so greasy that I got sick in the toilet, and the servers ignored us for very long periods.
Really delicious food and lovely atmosphere
Absolutely fantastic experience at Mia Italian! Service was exceptional and the food was amazing. All at a properly reasonable price. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if in the area. Food
By far the best Italian place we have eaten in ages! We came across it by accident, driving down the motor way on route to our hotel, both hungry for food searching the internet. When entering the restaurant we were already positively surprised by the rustic, homely atmosphere. For starters, we had garlic bread with mozzarella, olives, antipasto vegetables and bresola & burrata. Every single dish was as flavoursome as the other. High-quality, pure ingredients and great flavours. For main, we had pizzas. I myself had the rucola, Parma ham and Parmesan cheese pizza. My fiance had the Diavola with extra gorgonzola. Yet again high-quality ingredients. The perfect light and fluffy, yet cripsy pizza crust. And the toppings were added with the right balance of flavour. To full to even think about dessert, we asked if it was an option to take the dessert to go for later on the evening. Ten minutes later we had two take away containers with tiramisu with chocolate sauce and fresh fruit on top. Great value for money, wonderful staff, nice atmosphere. The next time that we will visit Edinburgh (from the Netherlands) we will definetly return to Mia Italian Kitchen!
Lovely staff and yummy food!
Good food and friendly service
Absolutely love the place would recommend 100% food is Fantastic....staff are lovely so friendly and polite and Marvin you smashed it today The Glasgow Girls
Busy, friendly atmosphere. Food was nice. Veggie platter good to share.
Recenty visited Mias with my mother for lunch and was delighted with the food and service. For starters, my mother had the soup and I had the meat selection with mozzarella, both of which were excellent. I had pan-fried breast of chicken for a main dish and my mother had the arrabiatta which again was excellent and the size of the portions were very good. Wine and coffee were also first-rate. Would definitely come again and certainly would recommend.
We had such a nice experience here ! Amazing food cannot fault it, we both had bolognese and the seafood pasta. Was unbelievable, tasted like when I was back in Italy. Also the service was extra friendly and felt super at home.
Their pizzas are average, and the service is seriously careless. Frankly, I wont go again.
Excellent customer care, the staff were all super friendly and funny to match, the food was lovely and had a good authentic taste, we felt well looked after , will definitely be there again
First time to eat here. We chose from the lunch menu - 2 dishes for £9.95. Excellent value for money. We had soup served with lovely crusty bread followed by sea bass with vegetables - all delicious and filling. Staff really pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended! Hope to come back again sometime soon.
It was ok but I was expecting much better given the raving reviews.
Lovely staffs and excellent spread of Italian food!
Loved the fish risotto.
Lovely meal with family staff very friendly
Best Italian you can find in Edinburgh!
Great friendly and lively local Italian restaurant. I had a wonderful traditional meat lasagne, garlic bread and glass of Merlot.
Staff meal celebration.
Very disappointed with the menu there wasnt a great choice imho, but what we had was nice enough. Nice friendly staff and a decent choice of wines, dont think Ill be hurrying back anytime soon.
Food and service were both outstanding! We had the minestrone and butternut squash soups, tomato focaccia, and the rigatoni alla norma. All were fresh tasting and clearly homemade. Michael and Samuel (our waiters) were both lovely and attentive and definitely added to our dining experience. They even split the pasta into two bowls for us, as we were sharing, which we really appreciated! The only disappointing part was the desserts (tiramisu and cheesecake), which did not live up to the rest of the meal. Overall, the meal was delicious though and we will definitely be back!
Have had great lunches here with friends and we have never been disappointed. Friendly staff. Great ambiance. Excellent food.
We had lunch 2 course for a tenner could not Finnish it .the food was beyond expectations and the staff super attentive and friendly
Food was so tasty. Loved the bruschetta to start. Pasta dish with sausage was great to. Noisy atsmophere, but although it was busy, the food came in great time and the staff were great, always had a smile and wanted to give a great service. Would definitely come again if Im in Edinburgh again.
Great food and wonderful staff. The two male waiters are absolutely fantastic. Would definitely visit again.
Great place, food and customer service
Great service and delicious food
Amazing food, welcoming atmosphere, we were looked after by Ewelina very well :) Thank you
I had lost faith in Italian restaurants until this one, best Ive had in the UK!
Tonight we ate at Mias (Morningside) our last evening in Scotland. We couldnt have wished for a better farewell to this beautiful country. Delicious food, fantastic friendly and attentive staff with whom we had nice conversations. All this is a casual, pleasant atmosphere, full of humor in the beautifully decorated shop. Finally, as icing on the cake, the Italian Chef gave me the ingredients list for my fantastic main course. Grazie mille Chef!
The nicest meals my family and I have ever had. You left us with the best impressions. Well done for the fantastic cuisine, the service and the friendly and warm environment. You are the best!! I highly recommend it. If I could put more stars... . Kid-friendliness: We licked our plates.
Excellent food in a real Italian restaurant. Our waiter was exceptionally busy even although this was a Monday evening but was attentive and helpful throughout. Thoroughly recommended.
This lunch was every bit as enjoyable as the last time we visited. Well worth the 5stars
Excellent food,we will be back
Food was amazing and service was excellent. Everything was very clean.
Booked for lunch today with my mum and daughter and we were very happy with food, the service and the location after an appointment nearby. We will be back again for lunch but will be trying the a la carte menu next time.
Honestly the best meal I have ever had, if you ve had Italian food think again this was is worlds greatest location if you want wonderful, appetising and combination of flavour in your meal. The staff are wonderful and very polite, professional and organised. Food comes quickly and piping hot. Would go again.
Great service. Food was really good and well put together. My dish was slightly salty but otherwise the family all raved about their dishes. Staff friendly and professional.
Very warm welcome, hearty meal Perfect !
Great lunch, yummy yummy
Food and company delightful; seating not so great.
A great Italian restaurant. . Cool atmosphere, great menu, great service and for Germans: it was really quick. The food was great. We were here twice
Great food. Great staff.
Good food and friendly staff. We were theres for a small wedding meal and it was lovely. Only toilets I could see were downstairs though so maybe not accessible for everyone, but still a lovely place!
We had an absolute blast! The food was exquisite. The service was wonderful. If you like incredible Italian food served by friendly Italian people, I strongly recommend you make this a sure stop for a meal.
Great Italian restaurant! Diverse menu, good service.
Popped in one weekday lunchtime, so had their lunch menu, which is a small but varied selection. The waiter was friendly and the food very good. Will definitely try to go back. Have now been back and the food is still great - dessert was one of the best cheesecakes I think Ive ever had!
Fabulous dinner in Morningside which has managed to keep the vibe and quality from the original Haymarket Mia restaurant. Everyone (including 2 teens) loved the food, my Rigatoni alla Nduja was amazing and Tiramisu was light and perfect end to the meal. Spiros was a delight, our time flew by for the all the best reasons. Superb Italian food done right.
Good food. Inexpesive.
Very poor service. Not enough staff! Food OK but not up to its usual standard. Will not hurry back.
Excellent Food and brilliant service... Highly recommended.
Good enough. I was there on a busy Saturday and we were sat downstairs is a very brightly lit overspill room with little atmosphere or decor. Food was good but not brilliant.
Great meals
Im glad we had made a booking as it is justifiably busy. We only ordered pizzas for main course and couldnt quite finish those as they were bigger than the plate
10th Oct lunch terrible soup ok bruschetta terrible mushy bread tomatoes no added flavours chicken passable £48.23 waiter no smile no personality added £4.88 service charge Dine Restaurant costs £10 more no comparison dine charges service charge over 8 people this service charge needs exposed no good service whatsoever one unhappy customer
Great food and service wouldnt hesitate to recommend l. Well be back
Simply the best meal I have had this year. Attentive staff. Highly recommended. Booking advisable to avoid disappointment. Dietary restrictions: Amazingly accommodating for someone with garlic allergy
Another great takeaway from Mia . Even let me use a voucher on a Saturday night which isnt always possible as they do reserve the right to limit the number of vouchers used each day
Great little find
Went to celebrate my sons birthday we had been before had a lovely meal and enjoyed a couple of the specials today can t fault the staff, food and ambiance definitely will be back again highly recommended Parking: Easily got a parking space only 2 mins from the restaurant and very reasonable using RingGo
Excellent vongole, service a little slow though.
Second time weve been here.... Not quite as good as the first time, though the food was just as good. Service was a wee bit distracted, but nothing really to complain about. Food
We came here for dinner, family of 4. Great food and attentive service. Well be back
Food was great and the service was amazing, such a friendly welcoming waiter. Got a free cheesecake too which honestly being a cheesecake lover was one of the nicest I ve had
The food was absolutely beautiful, full of flavour and good portion sizes too, professional staff, friendly and efficient. Well done guys, will be back when I visit Edinburgh again.
Went there to have little farewell party with my flat mate. Everything was nice, the food was incredible. U have to make reservation because it is a very crowded restaurant. Enjoy my dinner here and definitely will go there again in the future. I ordered mare rissoto, the portion was huge but i finished it all because it was too tasty.
Very good food. The spectacular pizza. The waiter is very nice and the place is nice and warm. We loved it! Vegetarian options: Many dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans and everything indicated on the menu. It is appreciated.
Disappointing all round, we were not allowed to order a side as a starter (really?) the server was pointing us to a much larger main course salad as a starter which we didn t want, the pizza when it arrived was very mediocre, too doughy, soggy & bland. Not impressed, and sadly even though I m local I won t be back, there s lots of choice for pizza in the area and I would expect better service too. On the plus side the wine was nice.
Delicious good service.
Really pleasant Italian restaurant. Lovely service and good food. We went during the day so was quite quiet. Have been in the evenings and is usually quite buzzing, but not at the time of the review. Would certainly visit again.
