Wonderful food. First time having Nepalese food and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was really comfortable, with calm traditional music playing and a warm colour scheme for the walls. Paintings on the walls were nice and felt very homely. The food was perfect. Spicy enough to thoroughly enjoy it but not too spicy where I needed 5 glasses of milk. Meat cooked to perfection and rice and naan bread very simple and had the perfect consistency. Staff were very hospitable and already readily available.
Lassi was avg, they do mess up some of the orders, for example we ordered tandoori ckn, and we got ckn tikka instead. Some of the curries were normal, like palak and the mint based ones Momos are the best I've had. Thin skin and crispy for the pan fried one, and pliable skin for the steamed one. Garlic chili was also actually spicy Everest curry was really good. There's some unique spice with a very particular aroma that I've never had before. Definitely get this. Mutton was alright Naans and other breads were quite average, the toppings/fillings were not very generous. Keema naan was pretty decent
It is hard to rate this one because the food was nice but it also felt adapted to Britain, it does not help I ordered the most British of all choices. Overall, I will give it a 5 with a slight benefit of a doubt because of potentially my poor choice.
We had fantastic Nepalese cuisine here for dinner one evening. It's a small restaurant but not at all cramped. Still feels spacious. The staff were all very friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival. The menu wasn't too busy but still had a great selection of dishes on offer. Difficult to choose as everything sounded delicious Service was quick. Food was piping hot when served and everything was great. Everybody had a lovely time and we all left completely satisfied.
Had a wonderful dining experience with the Chilli & Garlic Curry with lamb – it was so flavorful and satisfying! The pilau rice and garlic naan complemented the meal perfectly. Although there was a slight delay, the staff handled it with great professionalism and care. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!
Wow food was great!! So fresh and delicious, I’d honestly say this was the best Nepalese food I’ve ever eaten. The customer service is outstanding. So smiley, welcoming and nice. Lovely girl named Deah or Dea (unsure about spelling) was great with us, very welcoming and sweet. It’s beautiful to see as I’m from Australia and today was the first day in Scotland. The atmosphere is great, lovely music and location!! Oh and super affordable. 😁
The service is terrible. The waiter is the first rude server I’ve encountered ever in Scotland. The food is subpar. The chicken in all three dishes we ordered was dry. The spiciest dish is a medium level of spicy. The second spiciest dish is a mild level of spicy.
The food is very tasty and have lots of flavour have been there twice and can’t w8 to come back. The service is a bit slow but very nice. Food coming quite fast. Love the huge option for vegetarian. Also they very open for a special requests. Definitely recommend if you around haymarket
Had a lovely meal as always. Staff are so friendly and the service was excellent considering it was so busy. Thank you for a great evening.
Best food we had here.
Revisiting a happy place after a few years Vegetarian options: Don t know Food : 5/5 |
Had a fantastic meal and evening there with friends. Food was fabulous, great menu to choose from. Staff and service was excellent, friendly and courteous. Restaurant was busy and atmosphere was great. Lovely restaurant and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a great evening.
Succulent food and great service.
Our waiter Sunil was very helpful and kind, would highly recommend this place!
Everything about this place is just perfect! Momos are the best we ve had in Europe so far :) highly recommend!!
Top food as always
Very nice meal. Service was good. Food was delicious and hot. Naan bread was the only item I could fault....it was a bit soggy. Bill came to £55.30 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 rice and naan bread. Would recommend.
The Khukuri never disappoints. Despite being incredibly busy the food was to its usual high standard. The service was excellent and our meals were all served with a smile. Vegetarian options: One of our party was vegetarian and she was delighted with the options available. She chose a Dahl which she said was delicious.
The food was good , staff is sweet but one staff was very rude, the male staff and the buisness needs better management.
A small yet cozy restaurant to enjoy Nepali Cuisines. Better to reserve ahead or else have to wait long. We called earlier yet had to wait for more than half an hour. The momo has the authentic taste as from Nepal itself. Make sure to taste them.
The food was incredible. I had the Everest Curry with paneer and it was delicious- some of the best curry Ive ever tasted. Also tried the momos which were very good. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. It was a very pleasant place to eat. Vegetarian options: A good variety of vegetarian options
One of the best Indian food we had at here.nice welcoming staff behaviour. Nice starter. Best food.
Great Vegetarian options: Great Food : 5/5 |
Good experience in this very good Nepalese restaurant. Very good service and good quality.
We chose this (Indian) restaurant because it was Nepalese and we were not disappointed! We were made to feel very welcomed and seated comfortably. We both had the Pani Puri for a starter and they were magnificent! The waiter explained the dish and the best way to eat it and it was delicious. We then both opted for the Kathmandu curry with pilau rice & garlic naan bread, it was all so tasty and excellent quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the area.
A very enjoyable meal, service efficient & friendly.
Great food and atmosphere! Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for vegan, vegetarian and GF Food : 5/5 |
Amazing place to have some good food especially kothe and chilli garlic momos. Must try for anyone visiting Edinburgh.
Amazing food and service.
I say this to everyone, the best Nepalese/Indian restaurant in Edinburgh without doubt.
We arrived earlier than our booking time and the restaurant was rather busy after the Rugby at Murrayfield. Despite this, the staff managed to provide a table, with excellent, friendly service and food to a very high standard. Many thanks!
Food was amazing, everyone in the party loved it! One of the best meals I have had!
Absolutely brilliant, fantastic food, amazing service, can t wait to return!
Always great service and excellent food - will be back!
Delicious food and lovely staff - will definitely be back
Food was awesome.. we ordered Nepali thali which we were having for the first time and it just blew our mind All the food items were delicious.. I also asked for some green chillis with the thali and the waiter happily gave it to me for free so very amazed with their service and would visit again kudos to the entire team of The Khukuri
Excellent service and very tasty food. Very good value for money.
Excellent as usual. Best curry in Edinburgh
Cosy restaurant. Polite service. Food delicious.
Another lovely meal at this local gem. Delicious food and attentive service are a winning combination. Dietary restrictions: Majority of menu gluten-free and gluten-containing foods clearly identified on menu. Servers quick to identify any risk of potential cross contamination.
Stopped in her on a whim, ended being an extremely tasty lunch! The Chana masala, mushroom rice, & alu cauli were all absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend.
Unfortunately we had to come twice before we got the food. Can happen if you walk past spontaneously. The meal was worth it. Fantastic Service very friendly As soon as we are back in Edinburgh we will come back. Thanks
I live in Edinburgh and have a lot to choose from but this is my go-to place. Always great food and lovely service. Lots of meat and vegetarian options. Just a great restaurant that I love. And it never ceases to amaze, that whatever day I go, it s busy. And I know why
Excellent food, staff were great catering for the group well and looking after us well. Dietary restrictions: Great helping out with allergy issues and catering for that.
Fantastic food, cheerful staff who were simply wonderful. Such a good experience, Im looking to travelling to Nepal. Highly recommend!
The food is great, spiced up well, and the atmosphere is very nice. I d definitely recommend!
Best curry Ive had in a long time.
Great food and lovely staff
Parking: Can t park beside restaurant Food
Love it Vegetarian options: Great food Food : 5/5 |
Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options Food
This is the 4th time Ive been to the Khukuri and Ill definitely be back again. The food is absolutely awesome, and its consistently awesome. Each time Ive gone Ive had a different combination of the momos for starters, a paneer or vegetable main with roti and naan, there is a wide selection. Each dish Ive had has been fantastic, and pretty generous portion sizes too for the price. The staff as extremely friendly and helpful and despite the restaurant seemingly always packed, bustling and atmospheric, theyre quick and attentive without being overbearing. As a small aside, but that means alot to me, is that they dont charge a mandatory service charge - something which seemingly every restaurant has pivoted to these days - so I try and make sure I leave a decent sized tip to encourage the practice. It is a small thing but it just feeds into the fact that every aspect of dinner at the Khukuri is wonderful. My partner and I had a starter, main, naan and drink and paid less than £25 each. It is worth far more money than that, and I am warmed a little every time I walk past and see it busy. It so deserves to be busy, its a terrific place and you should give it your business. Vegetarian options: There is an enormous section of specifically vegetarian curries on the back page of the menus, however, more excitingly, every curry on the main section of the menu is completely customisable as to the protein. You can select any curry to have vegetable, paneer, chicken, beef or lamb (maybe the last 2 meats are wrong Im not sure, I always go for the paneer). Something quite important I think is that you never have to order the chicken curry, but can you please substitute the chicken for paneer?. Thats not how its written. Each dish has a description of flavours and inspirations and story, and it elects you choose which protein you would like in it. As a vegetarian, you dont feel like youve been allowed in as an afterthought. This is a menu created with you in mind. If youre not a vegetarian, just pick the beef. Easy peasy. Same goes for the momos, which I highly recommend. Can be ordered either as veg or chicken
Fantastic all around!
Great food and outstanding service
Great little restaurant, good choice menu, lovely food and attentive service
Food was top quality and the service was fast high standard.
Authentic, delicious Nepalese food. Whenever we are in Edinburgh this is where we head for. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is really quite fantastic. See you soon.
d was lovely and flavourful. Its the second time for me at the restaurant and the staff are friendly and the service quick. For something different from the usual Indian you may eat, head to the flavours of Nepal on display here
Best Ive had in years.recomend everyone try this place.
Tried khukuri veg thali and all the items served were good (hot, tasty and spicy as requested). Would recommend if you are looking for nepali food.
Colorful interior and deliciously made food at affordable prices. The staff members are really helpful and courteous.
Great food, reasonably priced, decent portions. Lamb chops were amazing. Really friendly and efficient service. Attentive without rushing us. Would happily visit again.
Very good experience at the Khukuri Saturday lunch time before the Rugby, staff & facilities were 1st class. Being a wee bit of a Indian / Nepalese / Sri Lankan foodie, the shared Vegie entrees were excellent serving size & flavour, the mains were good, the Vegans just felt lacked a little depth on the Dahl dishes, for me the hottest curry was medium intensity, a wee bit light on the meat share. Good value, all in all would definitely return for another round. Vegetarian options: The Vegie / Vegan on the table were very happy.
Service and food were excellent!
Very nice Momos and rasmalai
Great food great service
First time to try garlic and chill nann , you deserve a warm curry in the chilly winter time
I had never heard of this restaurant, but spotted it on Deliveroo, and its menu seemed interesting and a bit different, and it offered lots of choice for vegetarians and vegans, so I thought Id try it. Im so glad I did. When the food arrived, it smelled wonderful; as I laid the food out, I was a bit concerned that nearly everything I ordered had a similar-looking sauce, but they were all very different, and very delicious. Prices were reasonable, and portions generous. I will definitely be ordering from them again in future. Ive ordered again, and found several more delicious dishes: their chana masala and vegetable dhansak are both light years away from the run-of-the -mill versions in your average Indian restaurant. Both are utterly delicious: beautifully spiced, and heartwarming without too much heat. And their mixed pickle has lovely textures again, without being too spicy hot. Vegetarian options: I ordered Gurkhali Garlic Chilli Paneer -delicious; Dahi Puri - the best Ive ever eaten; Choila Mushroom - lovely textures; Everest Vegetables - so much more delicious than the usual veg in curry sauce; Chili Garlic Curry with Paneer - beautiful nuanced curry; and Aloo Tama Bodi - I love black-eyed beans, and again, nuanced and great textures. I would happily order every one of these dishes again.
First time ever and highly recommend. Great service amazing food and feel transported to nepal. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose
Outstanding food ! Amazing taste !! Went for lunch .. loved it soo much that went back for dinner as well :)
Fantastic food, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options (Not Just gluten friendly, the staff is perfectly avare of contamination and cross-contamination) Food : 5/5 |
Amazing food and good service
Good food and very nepali decore....Sweet and very attentive staff...I had pani puri and Namchi veg curry. Both were delicious!
Got the Chana Masala and Garlic chili naan, both were excellent
Great service. Food was really good. It feels like home. I really enjoyed momo and mustang aloo. Thanks again for the great food. Food
Food is brilliant, had multiple different curries there now, all class. Sell draught kingfisher which is a great beer. Staff are very friendly and quick service all the time. Only one thing I would say is there can be a lot of ubereats delivery people coming and going, they do try to keep them outside out the way but it can bring down the restaurant atmosphere a bit, otherwise top class place. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Biryani delicious
It couldnt be better for me!
Must have jhol momo.. Its delicious
Excellent food and service as always.
Food was very tasty and very well prepared. Prices were okay.
Excellent food, brilliant service. Many varied choices across the menu. Vegetarian options: The menu has at least as many vegetarian options as meat ones. Food : 5/5 |
Went there with my friend on september. The food was worst. Biryani was like rice and it was mixed with chicken curry and given. Momo was worst. Worst momo i have ever had in my life . The staff were friendly and had a good sense of humour.
You can find best food here . The staff is good and calm .Overall its the best restaurant in Edinburgh I have visited. Parking: Not sure
Our expectations were not met - they were exceeded! Absolutely delicious food. The staff is great, and the atmosphere is also nice. We had a perfect time here and will 100% come back.
First time eating Nepalese, and that too in Edinburgh...... Friendly people, plenty of time for explanations. And delicious dishes!!! Vegetarian options: Im not a vegetarian myself, but Ive seen a wide choice!
Amazing food. Will be back for sure! Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gf options Food : 5/5 |
Service is bad. Rude waiter especially the lady(indian) . I feel like they were giving priority to foreigner customers and, becames super nice to them than other ethnicity customers . Food is average...just average food with some fancy name.
If I could then I would give the No star at all. When we enter the staff was rude, shown her cheap behaviour The attitude was on the top. Food : 1/5
Visited on Saturday 12th October. Food and service was ever 1st class and cannot wait to visit again. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant
Fantastic food, excellent service, very pleasant service.
Excellent food and service.
The food was delicious. The service attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend.
Excellent, authentic food, great service and lovely people. Vegetarian options: Very good choices for both vegetarians and vegans. Food : 5/5 |
First time experiencing Nepalese food and very impressed.
Great food, great service.
Wonderful place, very friendly staff, delicious foods at a very reasonable price. Can t recommend them enough, will be going there again as soon as I can.
Beautiful food, beautiful people, beautiful vibe. Highly recommend indeed! Vegetarian options: Huge delicious veggie options, I am not veggie but fabulous, exciting dishes. I am working my way through the whole menu! Food : 5/5 |
All our party found everything to out liking and very reasonably priced too boot.
First time trying this restaurant recommended by my son who gets take aways and i would highly recommend it was fabulous ! Yvonne Food
Excellent meal and service. Would definitely recommend. We will be back.
Food was extraordinarily and service was also good. I would recommend this restaurant.
The service was good but the food was not what I expected. The Thali is not authentic its more Indian food. Went with so much expectation very disappointed. Guys if you are looking for authentic Nepali cuisine this place is not for you
Great service: very friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was very good and arrived quickly to our table plus they have a good selection of drinks including Nepalese beer on tap. Good value also.
Met a friend from the Himalayas here for supper. Pleasant staff, very busy and efficient. Excellent thali. Good value. Great momos.
Lovely buzz to the place, food was brilliant and service too. Definitely worth a visit
We used to love dining in the Khukuri while we were students back in 2000 so we decided to go back since we are back in Edinburgh for holidays. The food is still as good as we remembered. All food was served piping hot. The chilli garlic momos was awesome and the Choila chicken was very delicious especially with the crunchy beaten rice. However, the Durbar Tikka masala was too sweet for our liking and it was entirely our fault since the service staff have informed us that the Tikka masala is sweet. The masala tea was great and hot... It was what we imagined it is!
Very exotic. Hearty and tasty. RAS we recommend this restaurant!
Everything is absolutely tasty and plentiful, choice for vegetarians, fast, professional service and always with a smile, excellent value for money. well done to the team and thank you very much.
Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable price! Heart is full
simply really good
Another fantastic meal - restaurant and staff continue to deliver an excellent experience. Cannot wait until next time.
The staff is friendly and the food was really good! I keep thinking about the next time Ill go back! I had the Solukhumba Bhenda which was very tasty and the Momos.
Ordered on deliveroo, easily the best biryani Ive had, the portion probably couldve served 2 but I couldnt stop myself from devouring the whole thing! Daal was excellent as well. Altogether, excellent value & Im looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu soon!
Superb food and wonderful staff.
Very authentic, great flavors.
Great Little place nice staff lovely food but I have to ask why has a restaurant 2 miles away from the hight st pharmacy got a bed review for people out side the pharmacy at 9 am when it opens at nine am.i dont condne the selling drugs in broad daylight I. Our dutifully city ao please dont take this Personaly. But there are pharmacies far worse a lot closer to your restraunt than the street. Its hard to get to go to any pharmacy in the city to get you medicines without having to be stacked up out side in the streets waiting thats going on time and Im a deaceant love g dad grandad and family memeber. Im not bad Ive no choice yous dont own a pharmacy bye any chance?tha you for your time a d again I love your food but why the stwhen this is a problem for e very respectable person at e every pharmacy from the haymarket to the high street with thanks mr colin greene esq Hollyrood road
Toured around Scotland for 10 days and this was far-and-away the best food I had while there. Do yourself a favour and eat here if youre in Edinburgh. The owner/staff are incredibly kind as well.
Excellent, tasty food and wonderful service from very friendly staff.
Great service and delicious food
Very tasty Nepalese food with great price/performance ratio.
Good atmosphere but the food was not for Nepalese as the taste was very blend
Just had a phenomenal meal at The Khukuri and felt compelled to share my experience! For anyone looking for a taste sensation, this place is a must-visit. The service was absolutely top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu and even offered recommendations based on my preferences. But lets get to the main event: the food! Everything I tried was bursting with flavor. The chicken pakora was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The jhol momo were little parcels of deliciousness, and the chat samosa was a delightful explosion of textures and tastes. Honestly, my mouth is still watering thinking about it! Each dish was clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and expertly seasoned. The chefs at The Khukuri have a real talent for creating food thats both authentic and incredibly satisfying. Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The Khukuri gets a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars from me. If youre looking for a fantastic dining experience in Edinburgh, look no further than The Khukuri Restaurant. The delicious food, friendly service, and great value make it a must-visit!
Loved the Khukari special chili starter, Chicken Nauni Masala, and pretty much everything I tried on the table. The only thing I was not expecting was alot of cilantro. I got a big surprise on the first bite. I was able to easily remove it, but be sure to ask to remove it if youre like me and cilantro taste like soap. Ive never liked Indian food that Ive tried but this was great.
I was on a mission to find a good Nepalese restaurant in the centre of Edinburgh to take some colleagues to. Khukuri didnt disappoint. There were 7 of us and 2 of 7 werent experienced in east Asian food. The starters especially were delicious and the staff were so smiley and helpful. I was after something extremely hot and whilst the Khorsani chicken is stated as being extremely hot on the menu, it was quite tolerable but it was tasty. The 2 colleagues who had not tried many of this type of food were impressed and were quite adventurous. As the evening went on the restaurant became busy and it was a good atmosphere. We really liked Khukuri and the prices were decent.
Amazing Chicken Masala!
Great service, fantastic food, would highly recommend
The food was great. Pure Indian and napalise food. Our server was even better her name is dia Food
Here in Edinburgh for a holiday best tasty food iv had in Edinburgh, highly recommend and service supersedes everything a special thanks to Mr Sunil for the great service
Great food nice relaxed atmosphere great friendly service
Food is amazing here! I got the chili garlic curry with lamb and I really wish I could get this quality where I live in the states. When I visit again, I will make sure this is a go-to spot.
Nice food
Very attentive staff, though I feel they need additional hands to help...only 2 ladies serving 12 tables...
Second time in this restaurant. Loved the experience both times. Staff lovely; food excellent; good value. We originally booked for a party of 8, but one couple had to pull out due to illness. The staff were very understanding. The table was booked for two hours, which is half an hour more than most places and was most appreciated. In the event, we were allowed an extra half hour which we used to full extent to catch up with friends we hadnt met up with as an ex co-workers group for five years. Lovely afternoon/evening and Khukuri made it for us. Thank you! M K Millar
Food
Food wasn t good and very expensive at all.
Absolutely delicious food, lovely staff. Highly recommend.
The waitresses were so lovely and the food was delicious would love to go back anytime
An expensive place to eat and very basic
The staff was kind and courteous and the food was even better. The chicken saag and the samosa was awesome. I highly recommend it.
Our first time eating authentic Nepalese cuisine and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both curries had real depth of flavour and were not over spicy. Waiting staff were great also. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you like a curry but fancy something slightly different. Dietary restrictions: Lots of choice for gluten Intolerant eaters.
What a find! If you passed this restaurant in Haymarket you might not be drawn in by the exterior but inside is an absolute gem of a place. The staff are very courteous and serve sensitivity and are non intrusive. There is no sense of needing to rush and they give you plenty of time to order and between courses. The food is absolutely amazing and top quality. If you enjoy Indian food then try this place which specialises in the unique tastes and flavours from Nepal. The only down side are the toilets in the basement accessed by a winding staircase that could be difficult for people with a disability.
Ordered a takeaway this evening which was ready in 15 minutes. The food was excellent, the service was top class, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend The Khukuri restaurant.
We went without expectations and found the most amazing ambiance, food and service that we could not have imagined. I am glad that we were able to stumble upon this place and were lucky enough to have stayed around the block from them!! If you are in Edinburgh, you need to go!!!
Excellent as ever. Fabulous food, great service from lovely staff. Thank you
we had a dinner on last thursday and being a nepalese, my expectation from nepalese restaurant is always high but this time this place disappoint me. Even they didnt serve us all the food we ordered. ( Aloo and kakra aachar was missing). Though we have visit the restaurant at the last hour, we had clearly speak with the waiter regarding our taste and buds ( to blend it in nepali taste) but the food was horrible. Especially the Mushroom Rice was Hilarious and not fresh. Regarding the portion, taste, the food is really expensive.
Why this place wasnt busier on a Sunday evening during a three day spike in tourist numbers, I dont know. The service was impeccable, the food excellent. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options and the vegetable momos were fab. If you value good Nepalese food, you have to give it a shot.
Superb food with interesting and unique flavours. A quiet an unassuming restaurant with good service and no hovering or trying to push products. Ill definitely come back when Im in the area again.
The food was so good and flavorful! Wasnt expecting much and was very pleasantly surprised with the tastiest south asian food weve had in awhile.
Worst experience, had to ring 3 times before someone picked up and they sent out empty container. The person on phone was like just ask for refund from deliveroo. I ordered specifically for pani puri and they didn t deliver it. Sending empty container rather then letting customers know that they don t have it
Authentic Nepalese cuisine, very friendly staff, beautiful foody experience, loved it Parking: Parking easy after 6:30pm
Fantastic food Travelled nearly 500 miles to eat here Would do it again anytime Food : 5/5
Excellent food. Lots of different dishes to try. Nepalese beer.
Excellent and tasty food. The chilli garlic momos were superb. Nice ambience and we were treated so well by Siri and Diya. Would definitely recommend if youre in Edinburgh!
Very nice polite people, food was really aromatic a street ahead of your usual curry, And hot Food
When we got there it was really busy and I was worried food would take ages but it really didnt. We had the veggie thali and momos and they were delicious! Good value too
Quality restaurant. Went in for lunch on Saturday at 2:30pm - we were the only ones there (evening - fully-booked!) Service was top drawer, we went with our server s recommendations (chicken Momos, lamb solukhumbu bhenda, chicken namche, bowl of rice and peshwari naan) and we were not disappointed. Great food, service was attentive but not overbearing, good value for money and a wonderful restaurant. Next time, we ll be back for dinner!
Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Options for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets Food : 5/5 |
Warm welcome, beautiful setting and excellent food!
Ordered takeaway through deliveroo. Really impressed with the food, everything was delicious and good portion sizes. Highly recommended 5/5 Food : 5/5
The Durbar keema curry is to die for. Its especially lovely paired with mint sauce and naan and has the perfect level of spiciness. The chicken in the other curry we ordered was really well seasoned and perfectly cooked with good sized chunks. Brilliant portion sizes and value for money. Only feedback would be that the naan was a bit thin and the namche curry could have had a bit more depth of flavour but overall really happy with the meal.
Tried amazing Chicken Momos, recommendation for Nepali/Desi Chinese food lovers. Small suggestion for restaurant please introduce Schezwan based sauce or an authentic spicy chilli oil based sauce along with Momos, no one can beat your Nepalese speciality momos in town.
Really excellent food and service
This is our new go-to restaurant for all things curry! Vegetarian options: Vegetarians are first class citizens here. Food : 5/5 |
Great food and service as always. A new experience for all my friends, everyone impressed
Wonderful food, excellent service - always a delight!
Went with a group and wouldnt return again personally.
Fantastic food, extremely hot means exactly what it says, sooooo good! Will be back again and again
Very nice place for Nepali/Indian food. Very good and fast service. Highly recommended Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options available
Amazing food, would highly recommend the dhahi puri.
Lovely and very tasty dinner was served by helpful and friendly staff. Bravo! Vegetarian options: Eggplant side dish as well as vegetable momo were wonderful! Food : 5/5 |
As always a great experience - carefully curated menu, extremely tasty (and freshly cooked) food coupled with good service and friendly staff.
Lovely authentic Nepalese food.
A very friendly restaurant tucked away on a road near the Haymarket station. Lovely food served in generous portions by attentive staff at reasonable prices. Whats not to love.
We had amazing food and very friendly staff.Enjoyed our anniversary dinner
