We started our company Christmas party here and the food was so good. The wings and build your own poutine were amazing. I usually don t love restaurant gravy but it was so good. I will be dreaming about those wings too.

Said it was walk-in only for bowling- no reservations, and when we showed up it was reserved.

Danna was the best server I ve ever had. She was so kind and considerate, constantly checking up on us and feeding our needs. Definitely will be returning and requesting Danna:)

I went here for the first time yesterday. I was surprised as to how nice it was with the patio lights and greenery around the bar. It was basically like sitting outside on a patio. Service was pretty good. Our lovely server took back a espresso martini that tasted very watered down. But, she was understanding enough to replace it with another cocktail. I loved that they had the fights on after the hockey game and would be actively switching the channels to catch fights during intermissions in hockey. The bathrooms though...they had a long lineup everytime. Otherwise, I would like to come back on a PPV event. Solid place for a something casual or dressed up.

Came for a drink after zach bryan and Danna was an amazing host! Very sweet and connected well with my friends and I, she was on the ball with her service cues and upselling all making for a great atmosphere. Bonus points for the bartender of which she gave my phone to copy a drink recipe off of cuz it was PERFECT! can definitely see they have an awesome team going there, will be returning!

Has great potential but they need happier servers ... a lot of their tables and chairs are just not safe. I do enjoy the ambiance

It was so cold in here,I couldnt enjoy much of anything. I hate cold food thats supposed to be hot or at least Luke warm but it was disgustingly cold. I complained to server and all I was told was it is either really warm in this place or really cold. Wont ever go back and will never suggest going there.

We recently celebrated a special occasion at The Banquet and were quite disappointed with our experience. Despite making a reservation well in advance, our visit was marred by several issues. Firstly, our waitress was unhelpful and disinterested. We had to pass our drinks around ourselves, instead of her walking around the table, and she reached across our faces to serve the food and to hand us the payment terminal instead of walking around. I was really unimpressed by an arm suddenly 2 inches from my face multiple times. When we asked about a dish, she rudely told us to read the menu instead of providing the information. However, she was quick to interject into a conversation between my dad and me about a beer from a different restaurant, mistakenly thinking we were discussing a dish at The Banquet. We also encountered problems with the restaurants app. It advertised a free food item upon download and some great deals, but when we arrived, we learned that only a limited number of coupons were accepted per table. Additionally, the app did not specify that the 2 required drink purchases had to be alcoholic, which is problematic for those who cannot or choose not to drink such as those on certain medications, pregnant, underage, or abstaining for personal reasons (such as not feeling comfortable driving after multiple drinks). While we did receive a free dessert after requesting it (a small gesture most places offer for special occasions), it did not make up for the lack of service and the unpleasant attitude from our server. The restaurant was largely empty, yet we felt like an inconvenience throughout our meal. **The food itself was delicious.** While we were excited to try this place, our experience fell short of expectations, and we do not plan on returning. For friendly service and great specials and app deals without needing to purchase alcohol, I recommend The Canadian Icehouse directly below The Banquet. We went the next night with a larger party, and it was fantastic! Our server was delightful and said we were the best group she had ever served. The atmosphere was also much better. Dietary restrictions: After ordering the nachos my mom asked for there to be no spicy peppers as topping. You could say its a dietary restriction as they dont react well with her. She finally found where it listed toppings since the waitress told us to read the menu instead of simply telling us. Mom asked for this adjustment while our server was still at the table after she had taken a few other orders. She responded with well now I have to run back to the kitchen to get them to change it, and said she might not be able to have it changed. I work in retail and youre never supposed to tell a customer to just read it if you can help them understand something because some people cant read or see small print and it can be a source of embarrassment for them. This wasnt the case but its just good manners to not tell a customer to just read it themselves. If we can do everything ourselves why not just have a few terminals at the entrance to order off of like McDonalds. That would have been friendlier. Kid-friendliness: They have some arcade games you can pay for and a few bowling lanes. But its not a kid friendly atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Its in the second floor but there is a small elevator.

We came to Banquet just before the CCMA awards as a change up from our usual. Experience was overall disappointing. Our drink order was taken - but it took roughly 25 mins to get them. Food came out roughly 20-25 mins after that. It s understandable that it is an event day and it s busier than most days. However, the menu selection is greatly reduced (most likely to accommodate large groups of people as well as make service faster.) We asked for drink refills and after an hour of waiting we never got them. The food was decent for the most part, come out on the cold side. Would definitely try coming back here on a non event day. But moving forward we will stick to our usual.

Raph was an amazing bartender tonight and gave me and my friends the greatest service!

We came to the banquet for an event, we had bowling booked along with a dinner. We had such a great time. Our servers name was Kira and she made sure we had the best time ever. She was so attentive and recommended some of the best beers we ve had while we were in Edmonton. We will definitely come back!

Had a great time visiting the banquet last night! Kira was my waitress and she was so awesome. She filled us in on everything going on in the area and some upcoming events at banquet. The food was awesome and she recommended the Canada red wings. To top it off, they were only $6.99 a pound. I can t wait to come back and hopefully have Kira as my server again!

The other night I was at banquet for a girls night and had an amazing experience!! Our waitress, Kira, helped us figure out the best cocktails and even suggested we get a tower which was so sick! My friends and I have never been to banquet before, but Kira made the experience so beyond great! She knew the menus front to back and made amazing recommendations. I will definitely be bringing the ladies back for another girls night soon and hope to book a large party for a bigger group of friends. Shout out Kira for making our first banquet experience so great!!

I came to the banquet for my first time, and it was such a great place. The staff were so friendly, and the space was really cool and unique! We had Kira as our server and she gave us a great recommendations for food and drinks. She also told us about the bowling lanes and set us up with some bowling, which made our experience even better!

I don t give a lot of poor reviews but I feel I have to mention their way of doing business. I booked a reservation for 2 on Tuesday for the Monday night Stanley cup final game. I was notified on Saturday night that this was cancelled, they could not accommodate 2 people and was sent a wave of apologies to Bandaid the issue. The 2 of us are gutted by their lack of urgency in cancelling us on a special night and inability to vocally problem solve the issue with their customers.

Ive been in a few times recently over the playoffs and after, and Mackenzie and Kirsten have been great servers! The food and atmosphere is unlike anything else in Edmonton. A perfect rooftop patio for day or night.

Great for Oilers games.

We went on Wednesdays for the Smash Tacos special, turns out they dont do it because its the playoffs. There is no game going on and the place is empty. We were gonna order pizza but they dont have the Californian one nor the chicken one because its the playoffs. And when I ordered the spring special drink I was told they never heard of it even though I showed them the menu where it is on. Our table is not stable and you cant lean on it without having the drinks spill. Not coming back. UPDATE: I emailed them, following up as they asked in this review comment. She told me exactly what the waitress told us that night, I replied that it was not fair and they should update their menu, and make it clear. I also mentioned that I was hoping for some kind of incentive to come back, and she never replied.

Wish I could give 0, worst service in Edmonton, we were told to come to our table (via text message) after we had put our names on a waitlist. We left a restaurant line because our text message and we get there and no table for us? We were left to sit and eat our food at the bowling alley with zero table to place anything on. Eating on our laps. This place lacks extreme professionalism and I will NOT be returning. Oh and we were left waiting for 10 minutes before we were even offered a drink. Do better.

First of all we arrived at the restaurant yesterday and there was barely anyone there but it took 10 mins to get seated ! Then our waitress was EXTREMELY slow and our drinks didn t taste good at all . Also the washrooms where horrible there was toilet paper everywhere and un flushed toilets , Dirty mirrors . It was so bad this place is a dump with bad service and over priced food

So my boyfriend and I went to do some Late night bowling, weve never been to the banquet and I have to say it was a great!! Was a bit on the quiet side but this made our bowling alot more fun as there is only 4 lanes. I cam see it being more hectic if its busy and all lanes in use. We were hungry so we asked for a menu but tbe kitchen was closed at 12am!! We were a bit upset as we wanted to stay later eat and bowl. I have to say we were immediately taken care of by Mitch the GM, he told us he could get us chips and salsa but we wanted food, he then told us he could see if brewhouse next door was still serving food and if so he would bring us a menu and we could order finish our game and go eat. They were still open so we ordered and got to go have our meal. The food was really good but the server and bartender looked annoyed that we were in so late as they were empty. Something was fishy in my salad not sure what and when I told the waitress she literally rolled her eyes and said its not fish mayb rotten bacon from a pre-mixed salad?? I did ask for no bacon and no capers but thete were soft grey bits all up in my salad??!! Came time to pay the bill and to our surprise Mitch from upstairs had taken care of ALL our food!! I dont know if it was due to the salad or this man just takes his job of hospitality and customer service to the next level!!! I want to say thanks to you Mitch that really made our date night so intimate and memorable we will definitely be back so we can try your menu!! Amazing service at banquet above and beyond! -lack of cocktail knowledge by server/s -disinterested attitude by server -we had come In for food and drinks to enjoy part of the oilers hockey game on TV prior to going to the fan park thing they setup in the ice district, we were never made aware that we would have to leave at some point and couldn t enjoy the game from our table, when I went to order a round of drinks and dessert my server said I gotta get you guys out of here, can t do desert, ill take care of that round of shots for you no solution was ever offered and my server then became the fastest most thoughtful server in the world, my table was starting to get cleaned, we were brought some free shots but the tone my server had was that I as the guest was an inconvenience to her for occupying this table with my partner and my friends. Ive never been denied being served a dessert and more drinks 4 hours before the establishment closes, she brought our bills and decided upon herself that we were not to be served anymore, it s not as though we weren t contributing to her sales, we were a table that had spent at least 350$ in the span of 2 hrs and we intended on drinking and eating more We had ordered a round of shots with a chaser, one of these food runners brought us only the chaser and since we were not visited by a server for roughly 15-20 minutes our actual shots came to us 20 minutes later when we asked about them, which is clearly that the individual running our drinks to us didn t read the chit, this same individual ran drinks to us pretty much all night, didn t know what they were bringing us half the time and would drop drinks off and run away as if they were a vampire that was outrunning the sun. Overall my experience at the banquet in the ice district was extremely mediocre, my server was super unfriendly and unwelcoming, that can be attributed to them having a bad day so whatever, their delivery of bad news to a guest needs some work and I felt as though I was an inconvenience to my server. The food was pretty okay for the most part, I think most of my experience was pretty alright just the lack of communication between the bartender and the drink runner is silly or the lack of interest of my server in bringing me anything or checking up on us was funny because their income relies on how the guest is treated. To me the most ironic part is how involved my server became in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of my table when they told me that we would have to leave, till then we had an empty plate of nachos and chicken wings sit at our table for 1.5hrs lol Anyways, overall if you do intend on coming to this restaurant, the food is okay, I assume it s better on non-event nights, some of the people who work here clearly don t enjoy it much, I think in a time where spending money and the average Canadian spends 39% of their grocery budget on going out you want to feel welcomed and have a good experience and I just didn t feel that great dining and spending my time or money here.

I had booked a bowling lane and a table for two hours, and we were seated fairly quickly at a table that clearly needed a wipe down - which shoutout to the guy who seated us, you are a gem and this review does not reflect your service at all. Our server came by shortly after we were seated and she took our water order, and told us that the lane would be set up. The lane was set up, and then we sat there for 10 minutes waiting for her to come back as we weren t instructed on the process of getting the bowling shoes. I walked down and found the closest server who immediately told me well there s two servers in that area but it s okay I can help you . If you have a hard day, hey I get that it can be frustrating when somebody asks you about bowling shoes, but the passive aggressiveness has to go. The food came quickly which was nice, but it was nothing spectacular at all. We saw our server for max 5 minutes out of our one hour (supposed to be two hour), bowling and table rental. We left early because the service was not great, our server looked like she did not care about her job or about the people she was servicing, and it was a pretty big let down for a night where we were supposed to be having fun and celebrating a bride to be. The only good thing about this place was the cute first date beside us who we became besties with and shared drinks with! Without them, the atmosphere would ve also been a 1 star. You two seriously made our night and I hope you go on a second date. Overall, none of the party was pleased about the service we got, and I don t think any of us will be going back.

I went here for ufc 300 the atmosphere was horrible. Didn t get to listen to one octagon interview all night. When pereira went to speak they put on akon. A great event I felt like I never got to see. Played oilers regular season game instead then music.

We had an amazing time here! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and we had two TVs in our booth to watch the Oilers game.

Bouncer s power trip one in particular my brother had a fractured ankle and was limping and refused to let him in then when i tried explain i was kicked out the line as well went down to brewhouse ice house and bouncer came down to kick us out of that line too. Just happened 5 mins ago extremely disappointed and upset used to love the place.

My employer booked this place for a work related celebration. We had a nice area next to the bowling alley that included food and my employer provided drink tickets so there was no cost to employees. The staff were attentive and provided an excellent selection of buffet style appetizers. This is a great place downtown for work celebrations, there are also areas for people that want to come by themselves or with a few friends. Overall, a nice spot very close to Roger s arena and a view of the Ice district.

This was our second visit to The Banquet to celebrate my sons birthday. My son and his buddies had an excellent time bowling and playing arcade games. We will certainly return.

Worlds worst nachos!

Booked The Banquet bowling lanes for a team building event, and can t say enough good things about it. The staff were awesome, very accommodating and helpful, and the games were a lot of fun. My only regret is eating before we came, I would have liked to try their food. I ll be back!

My husband and I took our 6-month-old here around 2pm, and its a great place for little ones during the day. Lots of natural light and the service and food were awesome. Kid-friendliness: It wasnt too loud, and they have a family washroom with a change table. Also, very clean. It didnt have that musty beer smell you typically get in bars.

We came in to watch the Oilers game. It took 3 times asking the servers to turn it on, as they had a Columbus/Buffalo game on. Thought it was an Oilers bar being in the Ice District? The service was atrocious, and food terrible. We sent nachos back as they werent cooked and covered in sauces. The servers didnt clear our empty glasses until we piled them on the corner of the table. Extremely disappointed!

Chicken sandwich is awesome! Great atmosphere, unless you get stuck by the arcade games area (busy place pre-Oilers game).

What an absolute find! Friends introduced me to this new place in the ICE District and I am thankful they did. Extremely well thought out from all aspects. I can see why its so popular. The food is fantastic and served relatively quickly. Its definitely the staff who seat this place apart. Friendly, funny and genuinely appreciative of your business. I cant say enough positively about this place and to say I highly recommend this location is an understatement. Run. Dont walk. You wont be disappointed!

It was such a fun experience!!! The decor is so fun, speaker fronts, and tapes. Their price is right wheel was also a hit with our friends group.

We came in from out of town. We did not know we needed reservations. The hostess found us a table, the waitress was top notch. Bowling was booked solid but we will go back and make sure to book ahead of time. I would rate the sweet salty chicken sandwich best sandwich in Edmonton. We had a party of 5, everyone loved their meal. Such a great vibe! Make sure you have a reservation and check it out. We will be back.

It was OK. Space was cool. Service was slightly slow, (but so was the restaurant) I did like the idea of the bowling alley. However the avg pricing was a little steep for the type of bowling lanes offered. Food was really not my Forte. Kinda bland and same menu style as any American food chain

This is a really fun place to go have some great food before the game. I only had an appetizer, but it tasted delicious. They also have an ample selection of draft beer. The restaurant is deceptively large with a bowling alley and a working Wheel of Fortune spinning wheel. Some of the tables have a great view of the skating rink outside of Rogers Place. There are quite a few stairs which may limit your seating if that is an issue for you. I would recommend making a reservation and letting them know you require an accessible table. I will be going again for the great food, friendly service and unique atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility: Many of the tables are only accessible by stairs.

Came here for the first time tonight for a birthday party, and I have to say I left extremely disappointed. To start, we had horrible service. It took an hour just to get a drink, after talking with the waitress the service improved. There were two private parties going on, so unfortunately we had music coming from three different places all at the same time. There was a Huge group that were all bowling, yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. I felt like I was at a frat party. There were 10 of us in our group And not one of us left there happy nor will we be back.

I wish there was an option for zero stars I went to the venue for my 40th birthday last night. (10 people in my party) Worst service ever! It took 20 minutes for a waitress to come by initially and then over 30 minutes for the drinks. When I complained I was advised we have 2 private parties going on . I asked if I could go directly to the bar to get drinks /food and was advised due to the private events that wasn t an option. Both bathrooms were also in the private event areas and we got in trouble for entering the areas and accessing the facilities. Additionally there were 3 conflicting music styles happening at the same time for the duration of our visit. It felt like I was at a very horrible frat party. Lastly when we asked for the bill it took over half an hr for the waitress to come back for payment. I went to the door staff to complain and they said you will have to wait The two private events definitely took precedence over service for those coming as walk-ins. If they have private events that make it so they cannot provide service to paying customers they should close their venue and only have the private events for that night! I strongly advise people to avoid this venue. I am extremely disappointed as the idea of the venue is great, their lack of quality and service is ridiculous. The best part of the night there was when we left and went to Kelly s pub instead

Too noisy

The aesthetic is what first caught my attention. What a beautiful restaurant. Me and my mother were greeted by Emma who was super professional and had very amazing service. She was very knowledgeable about the company and was able to share so much about the history of the restaurant. The food was amazing and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I will definitely be coming back.

This place literally has cockroaches and a mouse infestation. It s completely unsanitary and disgusting. There s dead bugs hidden around if you take a good look I guarantee you ll find some. It s the middle of winter and this is happening?? How long has this been an issue here I will not be returning *Update* Upon being asked to contact The Banquet to rectify the review and situation, I was ignored by Chelsea after responding to her request. Again, not another good look for this place.

Came here before the city of color and played some bowling and had a few drink. Ordered food when we first showed up and it took soo long hr plus and when the food came it was so cold but props on the mangers for comping the meals. It was a great save . The bar was insane and my friends and i completely understand the delay. Happy we didnt have to pay for cold food . Will definitely come again, lexy was amazing and definitely made the night

We came here before the City and Colour concert, so it was busy, but managers should know this and plan accordingly. Our food took a very long time and came out separately. The food was pretty disappointing. Steak on the steak sandwich was over cooked, the Korean chicken wrap was basically chicken fingers, hot sauce, and ice berg lettuce, and the tuna poke bowl was bland and small. Portions in general were quite small. The bathrooms were also poorly kept. Toilet paper had run out in at least one stall. Several were out of paper towel. They are also situated in such a way that a huge line up of people ends up in the entryway of the restaurant. Prices also seemed excessive and happy hour deals are void on event nights. Vibe seemed cool and I liked the look of the place but the service, upkeep, and food were all lacking.

So much potential lost on this place. The pros are it s a great location and has a cool atmosphere with bowling, etc. However, the food is absolutely terrible. Whoever came up with this menu and comes up with the flavours, etc. needs to revaluate. The prices are high so I expected better especially since there are way better restaurants out there (as far as food goes) such as Joeys, campio, cactus, etc. The food was cold and tasted like it was a bit stale. We had a couple of vegetarians in our party and there wasn t much of a decent choice on the menu. Service was mediocre as well. Overall I would pass on this place and get better food and service elsewhere.

Place is a dump, and not in the fake dive bar aesthetic they are going for. Other locations in Calgary and Fort McMurray that Ive also been to are far better but I wont be coming back to this one. The entire place was dead at 8PM, maybe 3 tables taken, but the service was terrible, very slow, and with no follow-up. The bathroom was just bad... No toilet paper, the paper towel dispenser was broken entirely off the wall and missing and there was no air dryer, oh and also there were 3 big drops of dried blood in the sink... Like I said... A dump.

Mixed crowd, thought it would be more lively than it was, pretty cool it has a bowling alley. The speakers as decor for the walls and old casset tapes were very rettro loved it oooh desert before meal, highly recommend the deep fried Mars bar

I really enjoyed my First Time going Bowling At The Banquet At Ice District Connect Centre. Staff were very friendly. Service was very wonderful! Great place For 10 Pin Bowling. A wonderful way for Me To Do Some Bowling practice for me to get better on my Special Olympics Bowling. Looking Forward To Coming For The Food As Well As Bowling Next time I visit The Banquet!

Staff is exceptional

Went here on an oilers game day for bowling and the wing special. Apparently they don t offer happy hours or daily specials in oilers game days which I haven t heard of before. We were told 30-45mins at the door for a waiting list for bowling so we decided to eat some food while we waited. The service was brutally slow. The food was phenomenal and would highly recommend for the food. 5/5. After we ate we asked again how long for bowling(about 1 hour- 1 and a half hours after we got there) we were told it would be an hour and a half. :/ wouldn t recommend if you actually want to bowl

Food was great! Several of us met here before the iron maiden concert for dinner and drinks. 2nd time here was no disappointment. We will be back for more!!

Zero people served us. Hardly anyone here, but all the servers ignored our table. Even when we asked for menus, they handed us menus, then no one actually took our orders. Didn t even bring waters, and we sat with empty drink glasses after finishing the drinks we had to go get from the bar, because, as mentioned, no one served us.

We grabbed electric scooters from 124st area and took the bikes lanes basically straight there. It was an impromptu decision to eat there and watch the Jays game. So glad we did! The staff were heavily training more team members to come onboard in advance to the hockey season starting up. Very cool atmosphere! Bet even better on a nice summers day! This place doesnt have many options for food....I was looking for salmon dishes or fish & chips... they couldnt make it... very poor on the food list.

Was through with some friends for the Iron Maiden concert, had just the greatest experience. Iron Maiden blasting, exceptional service, and food was great. Both food and drinks were taking forever and a day despite making a reservation online. The waitress wouldnt give us updates hbmess we flagged her over and added. Far from impressed. Dont want to come back.

Still waiting for food (ordered at 6:30pm, its now 7:23pm and were supposed to be at the game. Had to ask twice for an update. No manager in sight. You dont get a free ride as a restaurant just because you are in the middle of ice district....in fact...youd best be at the top of your game! And if you have a venue of this size. You had better have the kitchen set up to to accommodate the load. Not impressed.

Went for bowling twice now. Lane 4 has 9 pins and you can t get a strike or a spare so the scoring is bad. Lane 3 is the same issue. Has 10 pins but there s a problem with the system and you cant get strikes or spares as one of the pins has an issue and doesn t register. Nothing has changed in two weeks. Hopefully that gets fixed soon because $60 per hour to bowl and it doesn t even function properly is pretty trash

We booked a reservation 2 hours before puck drop. Party of 6 hoping to celebrate 4 birthdays. Ordered drinks and food only to find out that there was an issue with the kitchen. We were okay with a bit of a delay, had another round. 15 Minutes before the puck drop, and after waiting an hour at 45 minutes, we were told that the food wasnt coming at ALL. The waitress never followed up with our order and we were confused as everyone around us was getting food and already finished and left. We were getting frustrated at this point. We told them we had to leave, without getting our food, the bill came in and was totally wrong. At this point we asked to speak to a manager, he apologized with no real explanation as to how this could possibly happen. He got down one of our numbers and said he contact us to make it right, we are yet to hear from him. I would think twice about going here before an event at Rogers, why offer so many tables if you cant serve them?

Last Saturday my girlfriend and I had a disappointing experience at your establishment. We were hopeful for a pleasant evening, but unfortunately, encountered an employee named Cody who displayed a complete lack of professionalism and rudeness. While I was briefly in the restroom, Cody had the audacity to tell my girlfriend that she needed to find another server and refused to assist her. This behavior was not only strange but completely unacceptable. As a result of Codys actions, we felt disrespected and promptly decided to leave the establishment without receiving any service. It is disheartening to see an employee representing your establishment in such a negative manner. We hope that you take this incident seriously and address the issue appropriately to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar treatment in the future.

Checked out The Banquet last evening with some friends and WOW - what a great place! The vibe was awesome. Super clean. Great beer selection. Burger and kettle chips were delicious. But the absolute best part was our server (I think she said her name was Katy). Incredibly friendly!!! Made great food recommendations. Was totally accommodating with my wifes drink order. She was definitely the highlight of our experience! We will certainly be coming back and bringing more people with us.

Came here before the hockey game with a friend. Booked reservations because we knew it would be busy. Mondays night special was happy hour all day. My friend and I ordered everything from the happy hour menu. When we got the bill, no happy hour prices were applied. The explanation we got from our service was that on game days-happy hour isn t valid when I asked where this info was, she said it was online (I ve searched online and I still don t see where it says that) Regardless I didn t order from an online menu so I m not sure how I would ve known this.. on top of that, our serve knew we ordered everything off the menu and didn t disclose that info when we were ordering. I understand it was busy- but a little better customer service would be appreciated, maybe they could ve taken the time to tell us that. Information provided on a website is not helpful when you aren t ordering from the menu online. And I truly believe our serve should ve spoke up and said something when we ordered everything from the happy hour menu. Would ve been nice to know prior to ordering.

Got there on a Tuesday night after a concert and waited 5-10 minutes to be seated but no one came. Others behind us were just as confused so we all ended up seating ourselves. There were quite a few tables full but looked like only one waitress walking around so I had to approach a bartender to ask if we could be served. She said a waiter will come around shortly, which never happened, so we left. Please get a hostess or let customers know there will be a bit of wait if you are short staffed.

Good place to come with friends before they took off to KISS / any concert. Will be back again Im sure.

Was here for a surprise birthday party. The staff and good were awesome. Really nice for those who like to bowl as well as there are bowling lanes. Just found it very noisy and loud, probably as the place was very busy. Would recommend anyone to go to check it out. Location is good as you can park underground and walk across without going on the streets.

I made a reservation roughly 6-8 weeks in advance for a bachelorette party, held this past Saturday. We were excited for our evening, but upon arrival discovered there were a couple of private events booked, and we were basically segregated to a small corner of the restaurant. When we attempted to walk around, grab a drink from the bar, and mingle, we were told that the area was closed for a private event, and they would not serve us, and basically told us to go back to our section. We also were unable to use the bowling alley, because the entire thing was rented out for the event. It was extremely disappointing and really not the experience we had in mind for a bachelorette party. I called several weeks before the event to confirm my reservation and that would ve been a wonderful time for them to inform me of these private events, giving me the option to cancel and book elsewhere where we would be treated like valued guests. The servers we had at our table were wonderful, and they did not treat us any differently. The problem was that we weren t able to leave our section and we didn t intend to come here to sit at a table for the entire evening, and not be able to move around and mingle. Super disappointed.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Went there for an office function on a Wednesday afternoon. This was the experience: 1) I was first to arrive and waited for quite a while without being asked to be seated (didnt time it but felt like forever with employees just looking at me). 2) Finally got to order, and my supervisor and I ordered the steak sandwich. Server did warn us that, potentially, they may be out of steak sandwiches and asked for an alternate, which is fair, this can happen. I then provided a second option of fish and chips. The server comes back and says I have some bad news. We are out of the steak sandwiches. Then looks at me and says and we are also out of the fish and chips. Uhmm...what? It was a Wednesday afternoon, with an Oiler game that night. The server THEN proceeds to say yeah it was weird, like 10 people came in here yesterday and ordered 10 steak sandwiches!....well thats not weird, its on your menu... and do you only carry 10 steaks at a time? Who does your ordering that you run out of food on a Wednesday afternoon?? 3) I then ordered a beef dip and it tasted AWFUL (was supposed to have fries with it, but they were missing, so we had to let the server know, which was strange because we had TWO beef dips and BOTH had a side of gravy...not rocket science). A co-worker had the salmon poke bowl and her rice was hard. 4) The music was so loud no one could hear anyone talk. All I can say is the server should feel lucky it wasnt me covering the bill because I would have given a big fat $0 for it. I am a very good tipper when the experience and service is top notch, and I understand that the server was not responsible for the lack of food, however, this all trickles down. I would never recommend anyone go there, nor would I ever return. That was possibly the worst experience Ive had in a restaurant in years. For being in the Ice District, The Banquet, DO BETTER! Youre in a busy area, youre downtown and likely to have a lot of customers. BE PREPARED! smh

Terrible food. Cold, sparse, dried out, over salty. Im shocked their cook still works there. Staff was preoccupied with their phones. I wonder how long theyll stay open with a restaurant foundation like that. Their bowling lanes are fun and the decor is cool - thats it.
