Edmonton's best Retro Diner serving breakfast and lunch, open for dinner on weekends. Breakfast and Burgers! All Day Breakfast
Amazing food, stunning restaurant. Love coming here for breakfast it is very busy, but 100% worth the wait. The dish i got in the picture is the raspberry lemonade French toast. The balls on top are mascopone cheese like a cream cheese but a bit sweeter. Very good!!!!!
One of my favourite brunch places in Edmonton, and yes it’s worth the wait. You can’t really go wrong with anything you choose on the menu. But my favourites would be the burger, milkshake, Bennys sub fruit salad and pie.
Be prepared for a wait if you are going here at breakfast time on the weekend. Just know it is worth the wait. Staff are fun and fantastic. On the ball. Place waas clean, decor is what you hope for in a diner and the jukebox is free. Though why it includes Mariah Carey i just dont know. Pies....yes, eat two and take more home. Worth every penny, i don't care which one you choose. Menu is varied and you will find something for whatever you are trying to scratch. Really happy with the quality. Really happy i found this place. Parking can be a loop or two around the lot if everyone is busy.
Very vibrant diner in the West end, lots of traffic and usually a wait up to 1 hour for a table. Food is delicious, well presented and made to order. Service is good, coffee top ups and helpful staff. They are busy however, no time for small chat. Atmosphere is busy, not a lot of room in the location. Tons of memorabilia litter the walls and it makes you wonder if there ever deep cleaned. It looks cool but again it makes you wonder about little details. Even the bathroom is covered in memorabilia. Lots of parking, it's suggested that you wait in the parking lot with a provided buzzer while waiting for your table.
Had this place on my list of places that I've been wanting to try (for a while too ) and I wasn't dissapointed at all. All the memorabilia was great, food was excellent, service was very good too. Very pleasant experience. Good thing it's not too close from home otherwise my wallet and my belly would suffer a lot lol. Will come back for sure 👍🏻
Nice place, seems busy but they are efficient at moving people through in a timely manner. My wife had a jalapeño waffle sandwich which was tasty. I had a Mexican omelet with good flavour but the eggs were cooked more than I like. Over all great food and excellent service.
Nice place to enjoy a meal. Pancakes were awesome, eggs sunny side up perfect. Seeing a juke box playing the music was great. Waiters were great.
Went for a birthday breakfast. Have been here before, food was always so good, decor good, service is usually hit/miss. Took the chance anyway. The server was stone cold, didn't care and when she came to check on things it was in passing to as she served another table, no time to reply. "Everything still OK here" as she swept by, um....how can it STILL be ok, if you never checked before? She served all others, made us wait as she did, for the other tables (over 10 mins), walked past my dirty dish 5x and hubs dishes 2x and looked directly at us and turned on her heel and left. I'm not sure what her actual problemwas, but as hubs waited in line at front to pay, she finished with a person before him then seeing him walked away. Another person had to serve him to pay the bill?! - was it a great experience, NO. Was the food worth the b.s. by the server, NO. But to be fair to the server, she was super efficient - with others, just not friendly with them either. The food seems to be slipping as well. Don't order gluten free pancakes, no flavour and tiny portion. Regular pancakes are great as are the milkshakes. ($7!) Used to love the place, but it's going downhill. Not returning ever.
Great little diner. Will definitely be back! The prices are great too.
Came here for our 12 year wedding anniversary for a special breakfast. Place is very popular. We both had the zucchini goat cheese frittata and it was well worth the wait. Friendly staff and a neat atmosphere make this a fun place for a meal. *** Update December 22, 2024 *** Still great food, menu gets changed up every so often. Service is friendly and fun! Hidden gem in the city! Biggest group you can have is 6. Its a diner so the majority of the booths are for four people unless you like getting really cozy.
Decent price and quantity. Taste is not the best but pretty alright. I had the chubby checker and the name didnt lie. It comes with 3 pieces of pancakes which were gigantic. There was no way for me to finish it. My wife loved the atmosphere. Its gonna be our breakfast spot from now on. Parking: Strip mall parking. Lots of spots.
Always friendly and helpful staff. They let my daughter try the rotary phone. Good homemade tasting burgers and bomb milkshakes! Will be back!! Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu!
So cute! Amazing food
From the brick bin The waiters and waitresses make the best food and always put a smile on my face The owner is very nice and friendly truly a rockin robin
Fantastic and has keto, gluten free, dairy free options
Ive been going here for a good while. It started off amazing. The atmosphere is great. This is where, sadly, it ends. Over the past few visits this restaurant has gone significantly downhill. One visit our server straight out lied that their milkshake maker was broken because he was too lazy to make one. This was confirmed after we paid the bill by the supervisor. This last one was the final straw however. Service was basically non existent. Waiting forever for coffee refill, when my wife got hers topped up and my cup just sat empty as the staff rushed off. Once food arrived her omelet was over done, dry and flavorless. My dish had a semi cooked egg, most of it still raw and the meat had a back flavor tasting like it had spoiled. I ate about half of it but began to feel sick to my stomach. My wife couldnt eat her omelet due to the dryness. After a long wait the server came to do a table touch and upon explanation she had the omelet remade and I explained I couldnt eat anything different due to the offputting of the under cooked and possibly spoiled meal. Again only half at most was eaten. When the bill came they had offered us coffee for free, but had placed everything else at full price, despite having to get one remade and the other inedible. When I asked to talk to someone they only removed the omelet from the bill and left it at that. No chat with a supervisor like I requested, nothing. I have heard supervisors talking down on customers and on people coming in to apply for a job. Loud enough for anyone to hear. Short of it, this use to be great. Now it is by far one of the worst spots to go.
I spent a good amount of time trying to find a GF , DF menu in Edmonton (not celiac ourselves) and I reached out to them to get specifics and they went out of their way to send me a list of all my options which was amazing to me. When we got there I expected a wait as they dont take reservations but was pleased it was only 30 minutes. Well worth the wait. GF DF, my son and I had the vegan oatmeal cinnamon pancakes and the 2 egg breakfast that came with pan fries, GF toast (DF butter) and we picked ham. It was all so delicious. The pancakes reminded me of a cinnamon oatmeal cookie. Our server was wonderful and patient, she also went above and beyond. Love the atmosphere of the 50s diner, and the prices arent outrageous either! Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free and Dairy Free Accomodations Parking: In a strip mall with many other business Kid-friendliness: Tables are close together so not a lot of room for table high chairs or baby carriers, definitley not strollers.
Super cute place. Kids loved it. Awesome Keto options Kid-friendliness: Great for kiddos Food : 4/5 |
Great place !! Nothing bad on the menu!! Great home made meals
Lovely 50 s style diner, service was great, food was delicious and the portions were big!
This fella has gotta spill the beans. This place is fantastic. The staff are friendly, food is delicious and atmosphere is, dare I say, wicked. Also Id like to give a shout to Riley, to thank him for his service. A soldier like that deserves a raise, god speed Food
Wow !!! Incredible service and their food is amazing. Hidden gem for sure
Great little spot!!
Breakfast tacos were stuffed with all the glorious stuff! Service is very good.
VERY busy place! But thats because the food is AMAZING! The servings are quite large, although I was not happy with my Sprite and Cranberry because it was watery, barely any flavour. Expect to wait at least 20 mins to be seated but very much worth the wait
Vintage - lots of interesting things to look at if you are a music conisuer from 50s - 70s
Very good food !! Great home cut fries chicken strips are the best !! Amazing breakfast !! Love it !
One of my favorite hidden gems in Edmonton
Moved to Westside and was looking for a diner. Went during a busy weekend morning and understandably had to wait 30 mins for a booth. That gave me high hopes for the food as others were happy to wait for the food. Staff provided us with a pager and let us know we are welcome to explore the strip mall or wait in our vehicle. Pager lit up and vibrated so we returned to the diner and were shown to our booth. Service was friendly and efficient and the food is definitely worth the wait. Robyn has created an authentic diner experience at affordable prices with generous portions. Great selection on The menu and if you have space for dessert I highly recommend their selection of cheesecakes, pie and crumbles. We took ours to go and enjoyed our dessert at home.
Find a better place for food in Edmonton...Ill wait. Just wish it was a little bigger as its no longer a secret. And never is there not a line to get in. But 1000% worth the wait
Absolutely amazing! The food was incredible, it was a creative take on comforting classics. The vibe was great, a throw back to simpler times with a whole lot of character. The service was outstanding. Would absolutely recommend checking it out.
Friendly and quick breakfast service. Coffee never got low and the food tasted amazing.
Great place we will go back again
This place gets busy, so go early. I have NEVER been disappointed in the food at this establishment. A+ every time!! Its about the little details too... shredded pickled carrots... fresh aioli... and everything is seasoned!
We were served lots of good food! I had lunch with my parents there when they came into Edmonton for the Canadian Finals Rodeo. We loved the hospitality, service, and value for our dollar with a full plate. If Rockin Robyns has any other restaurant locations, I would take my family there to enjoy the same experience!
What a great place for breakfast in Edmonton! It s super popular, but they have a great pager system and you get seated quite quickly. The food is excellent - we enjoyed a classic breakfast (pancakes, eggs & bacon) and a delicious sausage & pierogi breakfast. Both were a substantial size and well priced. Service was excellent with our orders getting taken right away and someone stopping by the table several times for coffee fill-ups. Highly recommend eating here!
Vintage style .. good food and nice service marvellous customer service extra ordinary atmosphere .. a good place for a breakfast
True diner feel, great food, and a larger than expected menu. Burgers are massive, actually looked like all servings are sizable. I will be back for another taste of a different menu item. Supper impressed . Food
Fantastic Kid-friendliness: Amazing Food : 5/5 |
This place is amazing. Awesome retro themed diner Great food, friendly staff and great prices. Food
Good food and aesthetic, busy on a Sunday which isnt surprising so come in expecting a small wait. Menu has changed since I last went but the food is still good. Easily a high recommend
Sadly the cold food and not so welcoming staff has not met the expectations of being able enjoy a simple classic breakfast.
Great place, great food and great people!!!
Best old school diner atmosphere in Edmonton. Extensive menu including All Day Breakfast!
Great place for breakfast in Edmonton
Cute Diner, amazing food, friendly service. I cannot wait to go back!
Woot woot If you ve never been, then you need to go go for breakfast earlier the better otherwise you will not get a table Food : 5/5
We found this little diner randomly searching for somewhere to go for breakfast; what a find! I have literally been craving the Pineapple Coconut Oatmeal ever since, it was truly delicious. We also got a cheesecake for a special occasion, and it was AMAZING! I love that they provide you with a glass pie plate (with a deposit) and you can bring it back - reducing waste. Overall great experience and cant wait to go back again.
Fun place with a 50s diner theme. Good food with very generous portions.
Was very excited to try this place after hearing great things about the food. Unfortunately I did not get to try as I was treated poorly from the get go and chose to leave after receiving severe attitude from both girls at the till. Checked in and said it would be for 2 people and was told a 15 minute wait to which I agreed. After 10 minutes of waiting they had already forgotten that I had checked in and told me my wait wasn t valid as I didn t have a buzzer. Nobody told me I needed a buzzer or gave me one and still did not. Was told I could wait out in the cold with a snarky attitude until a table opened up but I choose to leave as I am not willing to be treated the way I was. Very unpleasant experience.
Favourite place to go with the family, lot of gluten free options, very good ambient, and very good food Dietary restrictions: lot of gluten free options
So good! We came late for lunch, no wait for a 2 person table (for 4 there was a wait) Delicious burgers, fast service, staff was really good and the vibes were high. The staff in the kitchen singing along to songs was one of our top memories from our first experience. Lots of gluten free (GF) options as well. We re coming back for breakfast on a weekend very soon! If you re waiting for a table, check out the Brick Bin a few doors over for the coolest local Lego store! (pic is only 1 side of the menu, there is another side)
1st time going. Everything was great, 1 minor error, I ordered my eggs over-medium, got eggs that were just over-easy.
Extremely affordable food, friendly and welcoming staff, and some of the best meals in Edmonton. Highly recommend this spot.
Very long wait to get a table on a Saturday morning, but it was worth it. The food is outstanding, would recommend.
Good size portions, very reasonable price, beautifully Retro atmosphere. Cant complain. Just plan to wait on the weekend because it gets really busy with a waitlist.
Food was ok, potatoes were undercooked. Service was ok. I just really enjoyed the aesthetics and old school diner vibes.
Been going here for the past 6 years and I have had nothing but incredible food and ambience! Would highly recommend the coconut cream pie!
Good food, nice staff, great service
I loved the atmosphere , the cds on the wall, and the signs the food was good. Fries were nice and crispy
The retro atmosphere and the great music on the jukebox. The staff is really fun and the service is great. I ve never had anything that I ordered that I didn t love. Vegetarian options: A really great Buddha bowl!
Breakfast was excellent. Everything about this place was awesome.
Long gone are the days of feeling like the service industry cares about the customer and they go above and beyond to make it a true experience. We have to be very choosy about where we spend our money in this current climate, so I have no hesitation when my kiddos and I want a weekend breakfast together. They love coming and finding something new to look at in the restaurant as its very pop culture. The kids meals are incredibly fair for what you get AND have an option for different palettes. Above all, I have had pretty much every server there and they ALL are efficient and friendly, make conversation with my kids, and make their day! I appreciate this place lasting and being consistent. Fav spot in Edmonton!
The food is great,prices good.
Edit: took a star off because we went there specifically for the diner breakfast bowl, and its not on the menu anymore. The items we had instead, were good...But the diner breakfast bowl was still better. Sad that its not on the menu anymore. I had an incredible experience at this place! Tried their diner breakfast bowl and it was phenomenal, especially the flavorful spice sauce on the potatoes. The overall presentation and taste were top-notch. Its got that cool, hipster vibe without breaking the bank or underwhelming portions. This spot has easily become my go-to for breakfast!
Good meal, good deal
The service was great, the atmosphere was bright, fun, and clean. The food servings were huge and looked good, value was spot on. The food was all very heavy, I wouldnt eat it more than once a year (my poor heart/arteries) I felt like I ate a brick. Dietary restrictions: Not for the people on a heart healthy, cholesterol watching, diabetic groups.
I m definitely a fan of their eggs benny and hash browns. I bought 2 of the meat pies and they are super delicious!
Arrive early AND hungry! You will NOT leave underfed or disappointed. Lineups start quickly as its a cozy little spot so get in early!!!! By early I mean within 30 min of opening!!! What a great place!!
Favorite restaurant, it is such a cool place. Also being on a budget it is very well priced Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly
Awesome
The food was really tasty and the server attentive. Its a bit crowded and small but truly a 50s diner. Dietary restrictions: Answered all our questions promptly and were able to accommodate our big family.
Great service, great food, and always vigilant when it comes to menu substitutes or celiac meals
Just gotta shout out, wow I was impressed with this restaurant. Didnt get to eat this time just grabbed a drink. I think every single server spoke to me in the process, I felt totally looked after! The restaurant was packed and tiny but clean, great atmosphere and service. Clean big accessible bathrooms. And A+++ Service. Go here you might have to wait for a table but you wont be disappointed!!
Food is amazing everytime we go there!!
Usually great everything!!
My husband and I have eaten at Rockin Robyns many times over the years. We make a point of going every time we are in town and take anyone with us we can. The food is always delicious and the staff are always very attentive despite every seat being full. Definitely one of our recommendations to anyone in the area.
Really good food, and awesome staff really enjoyed our first time there
Little but mighty! Bit a big place, but a big heart. Rockin Robyns is a theme diner full of decorative nostalgia items. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. The menu has a decent selection of quality, well prepared meals in generous portion sizes. They also have a great selection of pies and take-home meals. If youre in the neighbourhood, definitely check them out.
Great food great staff great price Overall GREAT Food
Gourmet food at diner prices. Had the breakfast Yorkies... Terrific
Great place, very busy on the weekend. So get there early or prepare to wait a bit. Food and service was real nice.
Great little diner. Amazing atmosphere.
Good food but the service is just okay. Some of it was due to the crowd but we got quite a bit of food but we only had like this really tiny table. Food
loved the brisket mac and cheese and the pancakes were amazing!
They have a damn good poutine!! We also tried the brisket stuffed onion rings and wow. So. Good. The Burgers are homemade and you can tell. Overall 9/10. Foods great service is great, it definitely gets busy.
Decided to give this place a try for breakfast. Blown away by how cool it looks inside, a juke box that anybody can use to play music, and the decorations throughout the restaurant. Food was fresh and very delicious. Service was excellent, attentive, and very friendly. Happily found another breakfast spot to come back regularly
Fantastic place, very happy with the food and service, highly recommend
So good. Solid diner style food. Two types of fries - go for the home style. Genie In a Waffle was pretty life changing.
Everything was great except the bill, its a little pricey but the restaurant food and service is great so your paying for that.
Hard to believe this place has been in Edmonton for 12 years and I had no idea. Their food was phenomenal. The service was excellent. Love the atmosphere and vibe in here , right down to the music. We had pie for dessert and omg, their banana cream pie is so good your grandma would be jealous.
Great food, great portions, great place,!
I love this spot and stop whenever I am that way working or shopping at Princess Auto. It is worth the wait! And the costs are super affordable with large portions. You wont be disappointed!
Excellent but a busy place!
We went there for supper on a Friday evening. Food was awesome! Daughter had a chocolate shake....I had to test it. Was A1. After being seated, sat table for 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or brought menus. After that, while not slow service, wasnt as fast as I thought it would be. We liked the food so much we went back for Sunday brunch. Understandably it was busy. However, there were 2 customers waiting at the till to pay for as long as we waited for someone to acknowledge our presence and let us know the wait time. During the time we waited, I observed staff walking past the till, past us and not saying a thing. Staff were slow to bus tables and not moving with any sense of Holy smokes. Its busy. Gotta hustle. We chose to leave. After sampling their dinner fare, I was really excited to try brunch. I would go back when Im Edmonton. The food is just that good. If the owner can tweak the customer service experience, they get a 5 star.
Food was great, as were the portions! The decor will take you back 60 years (in a good way, lol). The only reason the score wasnt a 5/5 is that its SO popular that the wait time was 45 minutes for breakfast. Still worth it though!
This is one of the best, if not the best, brunch spot in the city! Their skillets, their pie...Robyn makes everything she touches sing. 10/10 recommend.
Well worth the wait! Food is always amazing and the prices are just as awesome!
Food was good. I had bennys. Everything comes with cubed potato hash which I dont eat and they will not substitute it for something else. Family had pancakes which they loved.
Cool stop usually a line up worth a bit of a wait
Was an amazing place to enjoy awesome food.
The Lumberjack Wafflewich is a tasty twist on waffles, ham and cheese - excellent comfort food with a little extra - highly recommend for breakfast!
Fun place to go
We try to stop in at Rockin Robyns every time we are in Edmonton. The food is always great and the service is second to none. Thank you once again for a wonderful experience!
The food is superb!! Great atmosphere and alot of fun!!!
Parking: Great breakfast fare, 2 eggs, hash browns and back bacon. Delicious!!! Food
Riley was amazing from the moment we walked in. I was sold on the place and I hadnt even tried the food yet. Riley was so friendly and just gives off such a positive energy!! The place is full of memorabilia, it truly feel like you are in the 1950s.
I always enjoy this place. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
OMG it has been a long time since I have been at a restaurant that knows how to cook fresh cut fries without any micro-coating. Well done! Ryley (Hope I spelt this right) was amazing. Personable and on top of things. He knew his menu, did his job very well and is a real asset to the restaurant. The Rockin Burger was a good portion, well seasoned and the veggies were fresh and crispy. A fair price for a great burger. Definitely somewhere I will be back to
Breakfast potatoes undercooked, terribly bland. Eggs were overcooked, juice was watery, sausages were cheap and grainy, toast was barely toasted. Service was acceptable at best. Wouldn t come back.
Loved the breakfast tacos, great flavor. Cool memorabilia.
Brought my friends from UK , Food was great , make sure to leave room for dessert , so good . Would gladly give them 10 stars if I could . Staff was super friendly . Parking: Lots of room
Very cool place, great food and service.
Best eggs Benedict with smoked salmon I have ever had! Great staff, atmosphere and ambience! Love it!!!
Great place great food as always
Awesome place to eat! The menu is amazing, especially if you are baked
Went out to lunch looking for a cool new place to eat and found exactly that. Service was great, they made sure you were taken care of. Food was delicious and the menu had some very unique plates that you may not find anywhere else.
Great prices awsome food
Couldnt get in. Wheelchair access is nearly impossible. Wheelchair accessibility: Virtually non existent.
Friendly service, nice environment and fast food, but everything was super salty. I don t recommend the keto Benny on the chaffle. It was like chewing on a salt lick from Arizona in the 1800s
Amazing food and variety on menu - thank you owners and staff for your compassion and help to a family who lost a lot in the Jasper fires
This place is just so awesome, everything about it is fantastic!
Went here for dinner tonight with husband and kids and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The food was SOOO good. When we pulled up outside we were a little nervous at how it looked but so glad we went in. It has an adorable old school diner theme and like I said the food was amazing and the staff were super friendly too.
Perfect little diner. Food: The food was excellent in general, with the exception of the waffle being chewy, the flavor was very nice. A slight change in the process would send the waffles into pure breakfast glory status - just dont over work the batter. Service: The waitress was extremely kind with the right amount of attentiveness despite being obviously tired, so she is putting work and effort in. They even to do the drive-by plate clearing if you put your empty plate at the edge of the table. Keeping the table nice is such a huge boost and makes a person feel welcome. Atmosphere: Very funky, very old school, smells nice, clean, and appropriate. Decent music in the background as well. Seating is in good repair. Flatware is in good shape. This is a diner, a good old-fashioned joint to enjoy some grub. The only thing that could improve the atmosphere would be servers aprons to add to the small-town feel.
So many mouthwatering desserts, I started with the cherry cheesecake before my burger!
Makes you feel like you are back in the 50s.
Probably the top 3 diners/breakfast spots in Edmonton. The food is always cooked to perfection, the atmosphere is stellar and the service is fast, friendly and efficient. Hit this place up if you have the chance.
Stopped by for breakfast after a recommendation from friends. As it was a Sunday morning, there was a short wait to be seated. Once seated we were greeted promptly, given menus, and asked for our beverage orders. When our server (Jesser) saw how quickly I was drinking my coffee, he brought me an oversized much, which made me laugh and was much appreciated. We ordered gluten-free pancakes and the breakfast burger. Our meals were served just as we ordered and were piping hot when they came to the table. The food was delicious, portion sizes provided good value for the money, but truly the star of the experience was Jesser. He was so attentive and personable, making our breakfast experience top notch. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in the area. When we left there was a big line-up but its worth the wait to have a personalized breakfast experience. If you check it out, ask for Jessers section; youll be glad you did. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-friendly options.
Food was great, atmosphere was great, but our server Riley was above and beyond. Such amazing vibes from this guy -- attentative, hilarious. Would come back just for him!
Absolute STELLAR service From a Gent named RILEY. Hes what you expect out of your Host. Never leave bud, well be back. To top it off The best burgers Ive had in Edmonton and surrounding areas by far. This is a Must visit for a date or self Nurturing.
Absolutely amazing place to eat and hang out. The environment brings you back to what a good diner should really be. Riley is amazing, he was one of the best waiters we ve had in a very long time. And don t get me started on the food, this place has the best diner food you could ever ask for. Even their shakes and floats are to die for. Great job guys. Keep it up! We ll be back again.
Fantastic place to go for breakfast, or any meal! Great atmosphere and the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. Los of variety on the menu. I m looking forward to my next visit.
This is a family fun restaurant with good food! Our grandkids love learning about all of the graffiti Hint...the milkshakes actually serve 2!
Awesome brisket mac&cheese and milkshake. Super delicious. The wall art is excellent.
Cool place, but be warned its not as big as it looks in the videos. Good food, good portions, and good service.
So busy but that is because it is so good! Had the Robyns Reuben - delicious. Boyfriend had chili cheese fries which he loved!
Wow! I stopped in for the first time while I was waiting for an appt, and I m so impressed! What amazing food!! And the server was amazing!! He was really the best server I ve come across in a looooong time. Keep up the awesome food and service!
Great food with wonderful staff. Try to make a lunch reservation or you may have to wait 20 or 30 minutes before you get a seat. The breakfast meal is mouth-watering as well. There is something for everyone on the menu.
A really cute 50s dinner
Delicious food, delightful service, great price!
Went here for the first time. I had the cinnamon roll french toast.... And let me tell you ... It is to die for!!! Seriously it was so dang good.!!! Food
Great meal, reasonable price. Awesome milkshake A bit of a wait, because a lot of people agree. Food : 5/5
Possibly one of the best breakfast spots in Edmonton. I had a traditional Benny, my friend had the waffle.
The price is very affordable, which is much better than chain fast food. The meat inside is all made by the store itself, which is much better than those fast food that directly puts the finished meat patties. Next time I pass by, I will try other set meals.
We sat around the table and rated our experience out of 10. A 10 wasnt high enough. Absolutely amazing place! Coming from England, Id visit just for the pie at this place!
The food was totally amazing, and our waitress was very very attentive and helpful. Only problem is I now need bigger clothes for my journey back to England as it was too good and I will have put so much weight on. Ha ha
Great service, great ambiance, great food, with gluten free options. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available Food : 5/5 |
A proper diner thats for sure! This place gets busy even on weekdays!
Our first time at this joint. The food was delicious. Friendly staff. ROCKIN ROBYNS needs a bigger joint so more people can come inside. There was a lineup with people waiting outside. I will tell my family n friends to go and check it out next time they are in Edmonton. I will definitely keep going back.
Great place to eat
I had breakfast tacos, French vanilla latte, and blueberry shake. Food was great, service was great. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a new breakfast place to eat.
Awesome food, great portions at a reasonable price. Menu has a great variety with lots of unique dishes. Service was fantastic, we will definitely be back.
Robyn be rockin What a cool place hidden in the industrial west end! Ive been meaning to come in for years and finally had the chance. Ill be back soon! What a fun place to chill and have diner grub. The menu has alot to choose from and I had a hard time because it really all sounds scrumptious and appealing. I was yearning for a grilled cheese and they didnt disappoint... Mama Ts grilled cheese hit the spot. Better than any grilled cheese Ive ever had (sorry Mom .) It had 3 different cheeses with havarti and cheddar on the inside and a crispy parmesan crust on the outside, so so SO good. Wish I had a bigger appetite, I wouldve mowed the whole thing if I couldve, big portions for a great price. Oh! And giant mugs of coffee just like I like. I cant say enough about our server, she was absolutely lovely and went more than above and beyond for everything we asked and thought of things we might need that we didnt think of and I appreciate that much care and thought more than I can express. Thank you for giving us a great experience when we were having a tough start to our day, you brought us some light and some great noms. The server even gave me one of her pins when she noticed my bag full of them, oh my heart The vibe here is like no other.
Food was great, atmosphere unique. The service is not great. Too long to get into, but it was a special occasion and almost spoiled my birthday.
Not the type to go out of my way to review a place unless they leave an amazing impression, which this place did. Upon walking in youre greeted by an amazing interior, not to mention incredibly welcoming and friendly staff who you can easily tell know and love the place. The jukebox is a great addition with music for any age, and the walls are filled with great decorations and collectibles. The wait time wasnt long, and the food was good enough that even a long wait for it would be worthwhile. If you get the chance to go here, Id absolutely encourage it.
There was a 20 minute wait to get seated, but it was worth every minute, the food was amazing, the service was awesome, and the atmosphere took me back to my Moms kitchen, the decor brought me back, sitting at our kitchen table sharing a homemade meal. We definitely will be going again and again. Loved it!
Awesome food, awesome service
Fun place to eat . Prices are decent . Servers are friendly
Amazing food at great price, more that i could handle and service was top notch, my new favorite!!
My daughter and I have been coming for breakfast for a few years. Always feel so welcome. The eggs benny rocks
We stopped in for breakfast and everything was delicious. Youll like it if you like diner style food. If youre undecided on the pie, get it! Heck, get two.
Best place in town! Must stop in and try!
Great
Craving a taste of the 50s? Rockin Robyns diner serves up classic eats like burgers, pancakes, and hearty breakfasts in a fun, retro atmosphere. I recommend any of the pancake or waffle dishes if you have a sweet tooth, or one of the eggs benedict variants for something savory. All the sides are worth it! The coffee crisp french toast (pictured) is a personal favorite. Expect friendly service and good prices, but be prepared for a potential wait - this diners a local favorite!
Oh my goodness, awesome food, nice staff
Very cool place to take the family and kids
The staff are the best
The best part of Rockin Robins is the value you get for food. Good portion for a good price. Definitely worth the wait! Dietary restrictions: They have good keto/diabetic options
