Old school European vibes, good service, good food, and a cool list of celebs who have been there. Expect to pay $50 each for a decent main and a drink, but well worth it!

I won t ever eat there. Parking isn t available for blocks and when I asked the waitress didn t show any signs of caring. Just told us if we want to eat there we have to park blocks away. Not easy to access. Other great places to eat in Edmonton

Lovely smaller restaurant with a European feel. Food was fabulous as was the service.

It was my first time at the restaurant, and I had schnitzel cordon bleu with potato salad and apple strudel everything was delicious with simple yet refined flavors. I must say, I especially liked their potato salad! It was a perfect way to celebrate pre-Thanksgiving with a good friend of mine. However, the evening took a bizarre turn when a guy at a nearby table scorned us for wearing perfume, claiming it was making his throat clog up (sorry about that!). For the record, I was wearing Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. Having lived on five continents, I ve never experienced anything like that before. Looking back, I think he was trying to get us to move, as he approached us twice and even said the perfume smelled chemical-like. It was certainly a new experience for us, but I digress the food was good, and I would like to try their trout next. Very interesting menu.

They would not work with a delivery company to bring a homeland meal to my ailing grandmother in hospital so I could order for her from out of town. For that they get 1-star or less for lack of compassion. One day they can be in her shoes it is called karma.

Tried this restaurant for the first time last weekend and I kick myself for not finding it sooner. The restaurant is located downtown and is relatively small - and it was packed - so reservations are necessary. The atmosphere is warm and surrounded by classical music. Our server was attentive and brought drinks out quickly. The menu is typical European with dishes from Hungary (goulash), Germany (Kasseler) and Austria (Wiener Schnitzel). My husband and friends had the Wiener Schnitzel and I chose the special (artic char). Appetizers were escargots and the fried cheese - which is surprisingly good. Portions were large, the food was delightful. Will definitely visit again!

Excellent food and service

Holy smokes this place blew my mind. It doesn t look like much more than a plaza takeout restaurant that you d easily miss from the outside, but once in you are greeted with some beautiful and rustic European art and decor. A warm and inviting atmosphere with great service. The arrival of the food is when all the pieces came together. Perfection! I started with the smoked salmon plate, which was simple yet delicious. The steak a la tartare is what really set this place apart from the rest. Easily one of the top 3 dishes I ve ever tasted and THE BEST steak tartare I ve ever had, and I love a good steak tartare. Trust me on this one go here get the steak tartare!!

Delightful. First time visiting, but it definitely wont be the last. The food was simple and delicious, service was great, and prices were very reasonable.

Very nice restaurant, excellent steak and schnitzel. The fried potatoes and mushrooms were not only excellent, but also very hot and fresh. Steak tartare was very good, and the fries cheese was excellent. Also the portion sizes were very good.

Service was so bad.

Our server there was so rude and ignorant but we just adjusted to his attitude and understood him because he is old; he also thinks he knows everything but it was so funny that he was always saying I know, I know but still delivered wrong orders from our table. I still gave him 25% tip though because I felt bad that he is still working in that age. Great food and nice ambiance.

We came for dinner on a Saturday night. Unfortunately the tables were not very accommodating for taller men (and I d assume plus sized patrons). My husband and our friend both had to sit with their legs unable to sit under the table st all. Their knees were hitting the edge of the table with no part of their leg under the table whatsoever. Even I was a bit uncomfortable as an average size woman as I could not fully fit my whole legs under. We asked if we could be switched but were told all tables were like this. However, the food was amazing and the service from our waiter was exceptional. We would have absolutely returned and had this as one of our favourites, had the seating been more comfortable. There is simply no way we could return with the seating they currently have.

Bistro Praha never fails to impress. This is an unpretentious but confident restaurant - you won t see fusion foods or trendy menu items and the staff aren t fawning over you. They have had virtually the same menu for the twenty years I ve been going there. And for good reason! The tartare is to die for, the salad is simple but delicious. Why mess with a good thing? Service was a touch slow and hands off, but it was a decently busy dining room. Dinner was good enough to make me want to brave downtown parking again soon!

Although I ve been to this fabulous restaurant many times, tonight they outdid themselves! Steak tartare is the best in Edmonton, the schnitzel is perfection, banana crepes?? Yes please. Service is efficient and make reservations! WORTH IT! We paid for extra Schnitzel!!

I hadnt been to this place in over a decade, so I thought why not give it a try to support local business.To be fair, the food was decent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. However, the server, I believe is one of the owners, ruined it all. I didn t have high expectations after reading some one-star reviews, as I was mainly interested in the food. I understand that tips are earned, and while I recognize the challenges of making a living these days, I still left a 12% tip (even though the machine offered a 10% option). Given the level of service, I felt this was fair. What was truly frustrating was when the server came running outside to confront us about the tip, questioning our satisfaction and expressing his frustration. I calmly asked him to check the bill again, at which point he realized we had indeed left a tip. He then returned to the kitchen without apologizing or acknowledging us as we left. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience marked by entitlement and unreasonable tipping expectations compelled me to speak up. To the Owner: tipping is a gratuity meant to reward good service, not an obligation. It should be earned, not expected.

Fancy. That s one word for it, growing up in Europe this was how i was taught manners. Each and every dish i tried here was absolutely amazing. The chef deserves much recognition for the quality of the dishes.

terrible restaurant with bad atmosphere and service, my schnitzel was cold and very thin

We came here for dinner, and left incredibly disappointed. One of the owners greeted us, and was so unfriendly and court once he saw us and our 2 children walk in, we ended up changing our minds and doing take out instead because we felt so unwelcomed. We had the half order of schnitzel and pork shoulder and the portions were incredibly small (imagine 2 small slices of pork for $22!). Food was nothing special either - it was ready for take out in 3 mins so obviously the food was not made fresh. So confused why this place gets good ratings yet our experience with the service, food, and value were so poor.

We really enjoyed every detail about this wonderful restaurant, unique ambiance, food flavor and texture, the welcoming service, the staff smiles and hospitality, may be the only 4/5 for service is because one of the staff was sitting at a near table during our whole visit, otherwise everything was perfect.

I recently had an amazing time at this place, where I had their Rack of Lamb. I must say, the lamb was incredibly succulent - it was so tender and perfectly seasoned with rosemary and garlic. The stir-fried vegetables on the side were not just an afterthought; they were crunchy, flavorful, and really complemented the lamb well. The mint sauce also added a fresh, cool twist to the dish and enhanced all the flavors. I also want to give a shoutout to Trumain, my server, who truly went above and beyond to make my dining experience pleasant and special.

I regret I didn t take photos as the presentation of the food was simple and very nice on proper white plates. The sauerkraut soup was absolutely delicious and the best I had. The texture and just the right amount of sour was amazing. Can t recommend trying it enough. The fried cheese was very tasty and the coating was lite and perfect. The pairing with tartar sauce is just brilliant. The dark check republic beer was very nice . The snitzel was the best I ve had in Canada. Couldn t get more authentic anywhere else in Edmonton . My absolute favourite thing was the whip cream that came with the apple strudel. It has to be homemade. It was light with just the right amount of sweetness and such a delightful cream taste. Absolutely delicious and I loved it. The lady who served me was an excellent waitress and kept checking in on me to see if I was enjoying everything and if anything was needed. I been wanting to come to bistro Praha for years and it did not disappoint. Now my new favourite restaurant in the city of Edmonton. The atmosphere is great . Honestly can t recommend this place enough. Even the pictures on other posts don t do how good the food is justice. So if you re looking to try this place out for the first time you will be in for a treat. :) Vegetarian options: The fried cheese was delicious.

Jimmy and his staff made our last night in Edmonton a memorable one. Tremendous food and our waitress was fantastic. Super friendly people at the Bistro Praha.

First before I start I must inform you all that this is not your everyday walk in restaurant. As this place is quite popular it is almost always booked so plan a couple of days ahead. That said if they can fit you in they will currently try that was the case with me. Now onto the stuff you want to know. My experience at this restaurant has me honestly saying it lives up to its boasts. I started with the famous fried cheese this is a nice light appetizer that cleanses the palette and prepares you to embark on a truly authentic European experience. I had the wiener schnitzel and my guest had the cordon bleu schnitzel on the recommendation of our server Trumain. Having been able to try both I have this to say if you want traditional schnitzel that takes you back to old country the wiener is for you. If you want the flavorful experience go with the cordon bleu. For dessert we had the peach crepe also on Trumains recommendation this was a nice end to the meal and was well executed. If I was asked to give a negative to this experience it would only be that water service was slow. Wheelchair accessibility: Make sure to let them know when you are booking as the place is quite crowded and so they can get you a table that doesnt lock you in

Wonderful establishment, friendly service and amazing traditional European cuisine. Brought back to my childhood, just like mama used to make it. I enjoyed the Prague sauerkraut soup and breaded schnitzel. Both bursting with flavor. Shall definitely return. Bring your appetite, as they serve very healthy portions!

This is my wife s and my favourite Edmonton restaurant. Great atmosphere and service! Highly recommend Goulash Week (in February), schnitzel and the Jeremie Salad. Many hockey players and celebs have been spotted here.

Atmosphere and food are superb. We had the grilled chicken, goulash, sauerkraut soup, and salad. All were beautifully presented and delicious. Servings are generous. Coffee was excellent. Incredible place that s been in Edmonton before I was born, but I did not discover until recent years and I can t stop going back. I don t even really like beef tartare but I find myself ordering it from here everytime because of how amazing it is. The ambience and service are also something very noteworthy here. Definitely recommend this place!

Some downtown customers in the evening around the entrance surrounded us, didn t feel comfortable Parking: Underground, guarded, safe, cheap.

Visited Edmonton for a weekend and to say we were pleasantly surprised by this spot would be an under statement. We didn t know what to expect but left wanting more. I personally had the special of the night which was an arctic char and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend and will come back if I m in Edmonton again

Bistro Praha is one of my favourite restaurants for lunch and dinner in downtown Edmonton. I d rate them 8.3/10 for the comforting ambience, the paintings on the walls, and the quality of the food. I recommend trying their: - Schnitzel, i.e. Cordon Bleu: Flavourful and Crispy - Starter salad, i.e. tomato one

The food and atmosphere was lovely, and they accommodated a last-minute reservation, which we really appreciated. However, the staff seemed very overwhelmed and multiple times we had to go and find our waitress to ask for something, and she forgot two of our items. However, we feel all was made right in the end!

Nice and cozy restaurant with some good Central European food. We ordered the Escargot, steak tartare and goulash to start. The Escargot was baked in a dish with garlic and oil and served with some toasted bread. The texture was a little soft but the flavour was good! The goulash was served with some bread dumplings and a lot of tender braised beef. It could have used a little more salt but the meat was quite soft and easy to eat. The steak tartare was really good, we ordered a large portion and it came with enough to easily share between 4 people. The toast was incredibly crispy and had a nice subtle nutty flavour to it. The steak itself was soft and paired very nicely with the bread. I would definitely recommend the steak tartare. For our mains, we each ordered a schnitzel. I had the Cordon Bleu schnitzel which came out piping hot with a side of potato salad. The schnitzel was super thin and had a lot of melted cheese oozing out of it when I cut into it. The schnitzel was fried perfectly and came out as a nice even golden brown and also came out pretty light with very little oil sticking to the breading. Overall a pretty good schnitzel, 8/10. For dessert, I had an apple strudel with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. The strudel came out hot and flaky. The strudel itself was not too sweet and was really good when paired with the light and airy whipped cream. You cant go wrong with ice cream on the side either. I would definitely come back for sure.

With a strong recommendation by a friend, we visited Bistro Praha. The place was packed with a long wait time. We decided to do a take-out. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The order was ready in 15 minutes, despite how busy their kitchen was. The food was perfectly prepared and very delicious. We will definitely visit Bistro Praha soon, but certainly with a reservation in advance.

One of the best Euro restaurants in Edmonton. I loved the Rice Howard way location. It was so great and so peaceful there. The only downside now is the location on 101 Street. The owner, after decades still remembered our names, who we were related to and when we had originally being there. It was a fabulous experience. Even with the new location they deserve five stars just for being great

Excellent food!

I really enjoyed this meal! It was the first time checking it out & was pleasantly surprised by how well executed everything was. The concepts & flavours were very simple but the elegance in the simplicity it was sells this place. The service was great, the vibe was cozy European chic & the food was classic. I almost felt like I was eating on the set of Sound of Music haha. Overall very enjoyable experience. Will definitely be coming back for a lunch to try some of their cold plates next time!

Very good food and service

Unfortunately we did not get to eat the food. Place looks great & comes highly recommended. But we were told we could not come in because it was full, while it was empty. This is regrettable. we were passing through Edmonton downtown and looking for a place to eat on a 4:50 Pm on a Saturday, in an area a bit sketchy and would probably been out by 6:30PM. Anyways, to future customers - make a reservation. To the owner, that s literally not the way to treat out of town app passerbys, you just missed on a good review & no, we will probably not be back

What a wonderful place. The portions are perfect and all, literally everything is delicious. The Schnitzel is lightly battered and perfectly cooked. The homemade sauerkraut is amazing. The strudel is delicious. The service is friendly and timely. A perfect place for dinner before the game or movie and prices are more than reasonable.

My friend and I found the restaurant on Google. We decided to give a try since neither of us have heard Czech food. We ordered a beef soup with bread dumplings. The bread was soft and we both loved it. Saurerkraut and Schnizel were both tasty. I personally loved the salad as well. I will definitely come again. Good service as well

It was the most horrible experience!!! 1. After in hour in that place we were told by a waiter Dude, you should do something with your kids,they are uncontrolled , I was shocked, because nobody anywhere said such things about our kids before, they are 3, they are just cheerful, didn t bother other clients, just laughing and running near our table, that was in the corner where nobody else sat. If it s the place where children are not welcome- there should be a sign, but it s unethical to tell parents such things, it s not up to waiter to decide if they are controlled or not 2. The was was disgusting, shtrudel was cold and not tasty, coffee was bitter and snacks just like in the cheapest place I would never come back there, and wouldn t recommend anybody with small kids to go there.l, you are not welcome

Absolutely outstanding restaurant. Every single visit is a great one. Food is outstanding and delicious every time. Best schnitzel and tartare in town! Can t go wrong with Czech beer either! Service is warm, friendly and fun! The staff and owners treat you like family. The atmosphere is unique and much needed in Edmonton. With classical music and stunning artwork this place is truly one of a kind.

Great food. The schnitzel was delicious as was the salad and potatoes. However the service was a bit disappointing considering the restaurants reputation. My server didnt check on me at all during my meal or offer to refill my water and seemed more interested in chatting with one of their regular customers. Considering that the restaurant was mostly empty and I paid almost $30 for an entree, this was kind of surprising.

Wonderful little restaurant in the heart of downtown serving an often overlooked cuisine. A great way to try classic Eastern European treats, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet dinner with fantastic food.

I ve wanted to try this Edmonton institution for years and I m so glad we made the time to go. FOOD We ordered: -The fried cheese, which was crispy, hot, melty and absolutely delicious -The herring, which was served with sour cream and was delicious and perfectly tart -The spaghetti with salami flakes, which was perfectly al dente and had a fabulous aglio olio sauce that complimented the salami -The cordon bleu, which is their schnitzel stuffed with cheese and ham - I have never had a more perfectly spiced and cooked schnitzel in my life. It was delectable and honestly one of the tastiest things I ve eaten in this city SERVICE The service was outstanding. Justin was extremely attentive, and timed his check-ins well so that he wasn t overwhelming us but we still felt very looked after. The older gentleman (owner?) also welcomed us and checked in regularly which was appreciated. AMBIENCE I never remove stars for lacking ambience but that wouldn t have been a problem because the place had a lovely old-world European charm. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS The quaint interior, phenomenal service and incredible food make this place a winner. I would recommend this place again in a heartbeat.

What an exceptional place, I cannot recommend a better place for some delicious schnitzel!! We came on a Monday night and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. Tables and chairs are beautiful, music is tasteful. Our food came so quickly. The servers and staff are incredible and the food is spectacular, what an amazing find in Edmonton, we are from out of town and I urge everyone to come here and eat the most delicious Austrian/Hungarian cuisine. You wont regret it. Order the strudel with ice cream!

My mom was Czech and I grew up on the menu items. My mom used to say that the difference between good and excellent dumplings was the fluffiness. These were absolutely perfect and the goulash equally good. Debating if I have room for the schnitzel but the first course was very filling.

Cant wait to come back here! There was so much on the menu I wanted to try, it was hard to decide. Everything looked delicious. Such a quaint spot with the most incredible service.

Rich home-made flavours w a professional flair: we relaxed happily in the European atmosphere as we savoured our generous and wholesome meals. My goulash had just the right amount of spiciness, my friends chicken was tender and tasty, our shared strudel was cut in half and served on 2 plates. Such excellent and attentive service made us feel special and valued.

This place is truly unique! Amazing Czech restaurant!! Full of history, it s a little like travelling in time and travelling on another continent. The staff is so welcoming and thoughtful but the food is really the star of the show! A menu like I ve never seen before! So many speciality, it will take several time to get to taste all I wanted , but at the same time I want to order the same thing! Definitely recommend if you wanna eat well, you wanna try something new or if you are a fan of Czech cuisine! They also have french cuisine on top of that! Best tartare in the city!

its been a while since Ive last been here. I dont always have a desire to eat. much less a full meal, the atmosphere was warm. very soft music, did not at all challenge or interfere with quiet conversation. while there, recognized so manyolder regulars, from when they were younger. I had always held this as my 1st choice, if I could go anywhere for a real meal. a good European meal, memories were brought forward. from my youngest food momories the steak tartar. and strudel and wine Wheelchair accessibility: my walker fit. though prearrange for your reservation to accommodate the required space

Do not miss going here for a meal while you are in Edmonton! Excellent service and beautiful food. The entrees had a full and half portion options. When you go order the Bistro Praha specialties, we tried both and were so happy. The server was great and the ambiance was a delight on a cold Edmonton evening.

I have been a patron here for over 30 years. The food is phenomenal, and the price point is one of the best in the city. Their steak tartare is the best i have had to this day...and I have had it multiple times all over Europe, as well as Canada. There is a reason the writer from the New York times wrote highly of this restaurant. The portions are fair, the food is delicious, the service is good, the establishment is clean. The only thing i wish they would change is some different desserts. The crepes are nice but would like other options to entice me. Thank you for being a staple in my life. I am always proud to recommend BISTRO PRAHA, to anyone i meet.

There s a reason Bistro Praha has been around for almost 5 decades. The food is always good and always generous. The canapés are top tier. I could eat those all day and be perfectly happy in life. I always get the spaghettini and salami, it s my favourite meal in the city!

One of the best casual dining experiences I ve ever had. Tremendous goulash and fried cheese. The service here is world class, I didn t catch my server s name but the younger guy with braids was an absolute boss. 10/10 recommending this restaurant to anybody that comes to Alberta and wants a taste of Europe!

I had a chance to dine in here with my lady a few hours before Depeche Mode concert. The food is phenomenal, home, cozy atmosphere and fairly priced. The duck and schnitzel we ordered are the best smoung other restaurants. Soup of the day is just like babushka made. The portions are fair, the food is delicious, and the service is good. Im not sure if that was just the table where we sat, but I couldnt squiz my legs under the table and sit normally, obviously that the table support plank is too low. Will highly recommend BISTRO PRAHA. Thank you.

Hadnt been to Praha since 1986 and was nostalgic to return despite the new location. Our server was beautiful. The food was very good though I wouldve enjoyed some vegetables with my schnitzel. Get the fried cheese! It felt really homey and comfortable. Parking was easy at Scotia but walking downtown after dark was daunting.

This place is so good - you can t go wrong with the schnitzel, the tartare, the pork shoulder, or the roasted duck. My partner is Austrian and we come here every time we re in Edmonton. A little pricey but worth every penny.

Came here for supper after work My Boss has been coming here since he was 16. We enjoyed the chicken and the salad was really good The appetizers were great as well. I would come back for sure T I think this was the place Skinny Puppy was raving about when they came through on their final tour.

I always love coming here. I get the arctic char for my birthday dinner every year and it s always something to look forward to. The atmosphere is great and the staff are genuine.

The food at Bistro Praha is awesome! I will recommend this place to all my friends and family! Julie was our server and she is so friendly and helpful! We came as a group of 2 people. Julie made the arrangement to make sure that we can try out everything we want to have. We had fried breaded cheese, rack of lamb, Wiener Schnitzel, Beef Goulash, and Banana crepe! All of them are super good and yummy! Lamb is covered with cumin and garlic, it s so aromatic and yummy!!! Wiener Schnitzel is one of my favourite! Please come to visit this place, you will be supersized with their amazing food! The price is very reasonable for their portion size and service!

Charming restaurant with some very worthwhile dishes on the menu. The beef goulash was fantastic as were the grilled Hungarian sausage platter. Really want to try the Smoked Pork Shoulder dish next time as well as the duck roast. The Classical music played for the ambience adds to the character of this place. Recommended.

This iconic Edmonton restaurant has even made the New York Times food reviews amongst the numerous others. Come early if you want a seat at lunch or dinner. This intimate place has the best steak tartar in the city, if not the province. Everything else is certainly worth enjoying!

We first heard of Bistro Praha from an article in the New York Times sent to us by friends who were visiting from Ontario, so we decided to give it a try. Well OMG! from the moment you walk in the service is exceptional and the food is off the charts DELICIOUS! The sauerkraut soup if I closed my eyes Id swear I was back in my mothers kitchen. The lamb was the best our friend said hes ever had. My husband had the Wiener Schnitzel and was not disappointed. I had the duck and it was EXCELLENT! How the chef managed to still get the skin crispy with it sitting on Au Jus is beyond me and not an ounce of fat. I could go on and on about the fabulous experience we had. Not to mention the incredible Crepes for dessert. If youre wanting/craving a home cooked meal this is definitely the place to go. Reasonable prices and lovely ambience. Thank you Bistro Praha. We will definitely be back!

Having gone to Prague last November and having goulash at multiple restaurants, I can honestly say that this is legit. It was Do savory and amazing. The escargot was beyond delicious. I will return every time I m in Edmonton. Bravo!!!

Awesome restaurant with a very different experience compared to others. The environment is comforting and staff are very welcoming. The schnitzel and cordon bleu are fried to a good crisp with minimal grease.

I have friends from Europe, they always love this place, I think I eat here 2 times, I understand why my friends like here, food should have 3 stars and they give extra star because they feel close to home. we order fish and duck, sole is great, they give me the wrong order at beginning, but they change it. Sole is good, simple way to cook and simple taste. The roast duck is ok, we try to finish but in the end the duck kind of too hard to chew, and bit dry also. Sadly I wont recommend duck. place is clean but kind of tight, if you have a large group may not easy to range, we been asked move our table when we already sit down, they probably have a large group coming later, have to move around give them more space. Last thing friendly remind Sunday no lunch, they start 4pm, but Sunday dt park free all day. Parking: if weekend have more free park, weekdays before 6 need pay park. Wheelchair accessibility: space very small, wheelchair could get in, but wont feel too much space to move around. if you need go make sure call ahead tell them first

Update just ate there and its better then ever! After a long Covid wait we thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful meal tonight with amazing service and amazing ambience. There isn t a bad dish in the house come and eat some European food like you ve never had it before. Enjoy

Want to feel like youre back in Europe again? Bistro Praha is the place to be. The atmosphere and service is warm and welcoming. Its well worth braving the dangers of downtown. The food is perfect. They have the best Weiner schnitzel in Edmonton, and the sauerkraut was top notch. Oh and cant forget the Czech beer! Bistro Praha is a slice of Prague right here in Edmonton. Get over there!

This restaurant is a gem! Was there tonight with my brother, he had breaded sole and I had weiner schnitzel. Both were excellent quality and served hot and fresh! The saurkraut soup was fantastic and I was able to get a half size. The apple strudel for dessert was excellent! It is so rare to come across a restaurant that still prepares meals from scratch. We will be back every time we are in Edmonton.

This is the kind of local business we should support and advocate for more of. There is incredible care to detail in the menu. Absolutely everything here is delicious, including their starter salad! Nothing is just thrown in but carefully crafted to make the best experience possible. I highly recommend you try this place and go often!

Another amazing meal at Bistro Praha. Tonight we were so very happy to get a table, as we forgot to make reservations and drove in from Calgary to eat here before a show. Thank you to the wonderful owner for managing to make our walk in work on a busy night and for the most well prepared and thoughtful food and beautiful dining ambiance and experience. This place is a true gem. Tonight, We kept it light and shared salad, sausage, cheese and strudel and left satisfied as usual. Will be seeing you again next time through Edmonton.
