This place has amazing food and a great atmosphere. Our server bella was amazing and very beautiful.
Downtown Mikado consistently delivers excellent service and top-notch food quality. The fish is always fresh, and I love that they offer unique options that change every few months. It’s a great spot for sushi lovers!
Recommend to try their lunch bento boxes when you are in town! It comes with everything from sashimi, teriyaki beef or chicken, assorted tempura, grilled salmon, chicken and shrimp skewers, and a salad. We ordered two different bento boxes. Everything was delicious especially the tempura and teriyaki beef. But the portion was too big and we couldn't finish the whole thing. Maybe can ask for less/no rice for smaller appetite. Prices are reasonable as dinner per head here would at least be $40. Environment is quiet and comfy with friendly staff.
Mikados was like Tokyo express gross. 80$ for fast food sushi they wouldn’t give my money back. Not the drivers fault the sushi was packed without care jammed into the takeout box. It was definitely not mikados high quality standard that I am accustomed to. No utensils nor provided any soya sauce like I requested not the quality I expected for the same price as dining in. This is not acceptable.
Mikado is a Japanese restaurant downtown in Edmonton. Mikado has a few spots now around Edmonton. This one is very clean and well lit. It's a bit older now but still has great and fresh offerings. Service is great and very helpful. And the food is always fresh and of high quality. The space is well lit and still has a very modern feel to it. Mikado is still some of the freshest sushi in the city! 5 x 🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣
Had a fun night mostly due to the company I was in and the excellent service. Our server, Ann, was lovely and attentive. The restaurant was over air conditioned and it felt like we were eating in the North Pole. The food was ok. Excellent chicken karaage, sashimi, and rainbow roll. The spicy tuna had an aftertaste that I didn’t love and the chop chop roll was almost dry. The worst was the tofu twist. It was smothered with sauce and really goopy. The tofu was soggy. I do not recommend unless what I described sounds delicious to you. I would be back though, the service was great and find the big parking lot downtown to be super convenient.
Mikado Downtown Sushi Restaurant is an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the service is top-notch and the attention to detail is impressive. The food is simply outstanding and comes timely - every dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. However, it's worth noting that the prices are slightly on the higher side for what you are getting. But, for the quality of the food and service, it's absolutely worth it. If you're looking for a realiable sushi restaurant with exceptional service and consistent high quality food, Mikado Downtown Sushi Restaurant is the perfect choice.
One word: Absolutely AMAZING! Delicious fresh food. THE BEST Japanese food i’ve ever had in my life. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. We asked to sit in the cute traditional Japanese room as well! Very fun experience! 10/10 would go back! 10/10 would recommend!
I came in for a quick lunch and had a bento box. It was absolutely delicious. My waitress Britney was polite and attentive. The manager Tomoko was helpful and kind. They even complimented my Oilers sweater! Amazing place, highly recommend.
Great authentic Japanese food. Delicious Bento boxes!
Always a good time. I really enjoyed their sushi combos and their ebi sunomono is one of the best in town.
I told the server I was in a bit of a rush and she took me seriously and accommodated me. She was really lovely overall. The sashimi was on the thinner side for my liking but was good!
Overpriced for quality received...Worst California Cone Ive ever had and the saltiness Soy Sauce Ive ever experienced!
For all you sushi enthusiasts, Edmonton has an exceptional sushi spot that comes highly recommended, offering an unforgettable experience.
Quality has really gone down here. Way over priced for what is served.
I have been coming here for many years and am always blown away by the quality of the food. Their rolls are fantastic and they offer an excellent array of sashimi, including specialty toro. I also love the atmosphere, which is classy, warm and inviting. I recommend if wanting a private tatami room that you book well in advance as they are popular. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant that is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or just a nice dinner out.
How dare you don t have a 15% tip option on the machine. Had to calculate the 15% by using my phone calculator. You are not in Banff. If the service valued 18%, sure. Are you confident that your service level values the 18% tip?? Food is good tho.
Waiter was cute
Over 20 years ago I moved to Alberta. This restaurant was the first Japanese restaurant in Edmonton I went too I fell in Love with how fresh their sashimi is, the dragon eye roll and back then the Sushi Pizza (please put back on the menu). I have tried many menu items over there years their food is consistently fresh and does not disappoint after all these years hands down still my favourite Sushi in Edmonton. DT location is the OG
Food was very good i got the california rolls, my dad got the dragon roll and we split a 6 piece vegetable tempura. Our server eddie was very nice and just felt welcoming.
Great food and atmosphere
Mikado is a gem! The beef yakaniku is incredibly tender and flavorful, and their specialty rolls are creative and delicious. Dont miss out on their sesame sauce, its the best in town . Highly recommend this place .
Friendly staff, excellent customer service, food is prepped efficiently and arrives quickly.
make a normal pickup
Honestly the best place for good fresh sushi, amazingly nice staff and great atmosphere including cleanliness in bathrooms and where your eating.
The best sushi i have managed to find in Edmonton, highly recommend the boat. Staff are always friendly and never far when you need something, and a private room is as simple as a reservation. Will always return!
First thing I noticed was that the staff were incredibly kind and seemed happy to do their job. The food was pretty good, and was fresh, tasty, and honestly just good looking. The restaurant sort of gave out this calm sort of feeling, and wasnt just pure screaming from children.
We chose our family birthday celebration at this favourite Japanese restaurant, choosing the tatami room. Expected great food, quick service and a good time and they delivered.
Best sushi!
Sushi is always great here. My count on go to.
Food was delicious and very high quality. Our waiter Ivan was excellent as well. Hes a real homie!
Great for gluten allergies! Phenomenal service from Ann and Shirley. Thank you! Dietary restrictions: Gluten
We both had bento boxes and everything was delicious. I believe this is the first Japanese restaurant in Edmonton and it s one of the best I ve been to in the city. Friendly, attentive service, definitely worth a visit when Downtown (I hope they maintain this location as it s central and very convenient).
I gave it a two star because I came here 4 times in the short time I lived in Edmonton and been here twice just in the last week. I ordered the sashimi lunch bento box and up until today I had no problem when I asked for the OBA LEAF to go with my sashimi. I told her I love it! She said we don t give it because most people throw in garbage. Our waitress made it a big deal and said that I would not be allowed it again unless I pay 5 $ or Oder deluxe bento box . Seriously? Where s the customer service? I will not come back because that put a sour taste to my lunch!
It was a busy Saturday evening, and there were no tables available, but we were able to sit at the bar right away. It was lovely, we watched the food being made, the chefs were very friendly (especially Michelle) and clearly happy to be there. The food was fresh and the portions were generous. My favourite was an impressive deep fried tofu covered with a savoury sauce strips of seaweed and benito flakes. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to make reservations. It would be lovely to try one of the little rooms flanking the restaurant. Its a busy place, and for good reason! Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious options, ranging from soups, salads, savoury Tofu dishes, to rolls.
They didn t have too many options for gluten free for me compared to other places I ve been so I don t think I d go back. The salmon didn t have much of a flavour.
So far so good. Its just the long wait sometimes that depends on the occasion. A lil expensive though. But somehow and sometimes worth it.
This is a very popular spot to go. They are always friendly, the food is prepared so beautifully, and the service is exceptional. I often order the boat when with friends or family and it is a wonder to behold.
The beef tataki is very salty, and the eel roll is also ridiculous. I cant taste the eel, it just tastes of ginger slices. The overall taste is not worthy of the price. Not recommended.
good
BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!! Best service and very good food quality
Good place. Good food but they didnt put any cutlery in over. Take old daughter and the expect tips for even take out others
Ive been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. I ordered from them through skippa dish on Friday. I received barbecue squid instead of shrimp. The portion size of my sashimi combo was so small Ive never seen this before. I was so disappointed to spend $75 where this meal couldnt even hardly fill one person never mind two. Honestly I will never be ordering from them again.
Id rate this 100/10 if I could. Loved everything about this place. So far, the best Japanese restaurant Ive been in Edmonton. Server was soo nice and friendly.
Booked a tatami room for my daughters birthday. Food was beautiful and delish. Staff was very friendly
Decided to try Mikado as we were in the mood for sushi. The boat dish is called Coast To Coast and is a selection of various sushi and sashimi dishes. It was all delicious and the staff and service was fantastic. Would highly recommend going here if you re in the mood for sushi. Food
Mikado is a safe option for sushi. You can t go wrong with eating here. My all time favourite things to order from here are Dragon Eyes, Avocado shrimp roll, yam tempura and the tempura ice cream.
Great food. Staff very friendly.
Very fresh and tasty food! The presentation and attention to detail on each plate are absolutely stunning. The service was outstanding and had a wonderful, calm atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back again. Vegetarian options: Excellent and very tasty vegetarian options!
There is a lady in the front named Michelle. Terrible, awful and rude. Probably racist. Despicable look on her face when approached with a simple question. Maybe do not have someone at the front who is going to be so deplorable to not only a customer but human being in general. No common courtesy or decency. Will never go there again. Go down the street and there is a better spot where you are treated with respect.t.
Thank you for being accommodating to our service dog team. The food was great as well! Lunch bento boxes here are some of the best in the city.
If you are a true connoisseur of quality cuisine, Mikado is an absolute must-visit. Prepare yourself for an explosion of irresistible flavors, captivating freshness, and a culinary experience that is simply spectacular. From start to finish, every detail is thoughtfully crafted to provide an unparalleled culinary experience. Dont miss the opportunity to savor the delight and freshness of Mikado - a culinary experience that you will certainly remember for a long time.
Bad bento boxes at lunch. Soggy blue fin tuna roll (obviously pre-made and out of a fridge), greasy tempura maybe also made in advance, over-cooked chicken teriaki and basic iceberg lettuce salad with some kind of western ranch dressing. We did get the sushi roll replaced. Will not be back to this place again.
Fantastic place. Greeted by the staff as we entered the establishment. Decor was very nice and a well lit interior. Clean seating areas and bathroom was well kept. We were able to get the room seating which was amazing since we just walked in during a busy time, and would have had to wait. Normally you would need to reserve that type of seating. Waitress was polite, attentive, and helpful when asked about different food items. Food was hot when it arrived, refills for drinks were consistently topped up. Another worker stopped by the room to ask about the food, thanked us for visiting the location and then left with a small bow. I was not able to finish my pot of tea sadly, as I was too full. I really enjoy good tea.
I have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed my meal. But my colleagues and I went for lunch on August 1st 2023 and we all got sick after. Those that did not connect the sickness to the food and took food home got family members sick too.
The best Japanese restaurant in Edmonton!
This location has gone downhill and is the last Japanese restaurant I would go to in Edmonton. The same is not true for their Southside location though. The quality of food has declined since pre-covid. It is also not consistent with the quality of the Southside location. It was practically empty when we visited. If you want a basic bento, they can manage that at least. We sent a dish back. The Tataki. Tasted like very salty soya sauce with the thinly sliced beef. The server tried to tell us the chef said that it was supposed to taste that way - the Southside locations same dish does not taste like the downtown version of it. The Southside uses a ponzu sauce. As I said, super disappointed. Will not be returning. Nor will I recommend it to anyone ever again.
First time come this place, all staffs are greeting us, good food and nice place. Recommend to come.
Eel roll. where is the eel? part of the roll was made without eel. food quality deteriorated Food : 3/5
I love the special roll! It is all I get here.
Surprised I never did a review on Mikado DT before. Ive been going to this Mikado for over 10 years now and I have never had a bad experience here - I feel like that says a lot in and of itself. Mikado is located on the corner of 104 ave and 109st beside the Best Buy. There is lots of parking and surrounding overflow parking. Every time you walk in, regardless of how busy it is, there is always staff to welcome you. The restaurant has booths and some bigger sliding door rooms for bigger parties. The food at Mikado has also been fairly consistent in the last decade and the quality and taste has always been good. I have found their ingredients to be quite fresh, including the raw ones. I want to say one of their most popular rolls would be the Dragon Eyes and if you havent tried them, then you should. This is always a must order item/dish when we go to Mikado. It is essentially a deep fried salmon roll with Dragon sauce (like a southwest chipotle sauce) but the warm and crunchy with the sauce really seals the deal. Mikado also comes out with new rolls or items being introduced every couple of months as a marketing or seasonal thing (i.e summer specials, Christmas specials, etc). Mikado Downtown has been my go to sushi place for the last year and likely will continue to be. I would say it has some of the best sushi in Edmonton. Must try and always recommended.
Beautiful restaurant with very nice service and delicious food. Highly recommend!
Haven t been there forever but did a double birthday recently with family and it was great! Food, service, private booth was perfect and they did an bday ice cream with a nice message on the plate, with sparkler!
Loved the restaurant, thank you for the food it was delicious
Michelle at the sushi bar is doing all the work for this five stars.
I went here for my daughter because she loves sushi. She enjoys the food, and the service is quick and friendly. Prices are not too bad compared to other restaurants. Food
Delightful dinner, good food, great service
Went here with some friends, service was quick and the food was great.
Best sushi I have ever had since moving to Alberta.
Our waitress Kim was an absolute angel, we were a very chaotic table and we appreciate how she handled the children. The other staff there were just as amazing, they have such a positive energy and you just feel comfortable to be there. the food was immaculate and so delicious I wished my stomach was bigger. The tempura sauce was delicious I had to ask for more and Kim came back with 2 little cups for me, she was so sweet. I am so happy with this restaurant , will definitely be back when we come back to Edmonton. Kid-friendliness: So amazing with kids, the patience was impeccable.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I havent eaten there in 2 years, I went today and the food was horrible! What a major disappointment everything tasted burnt. The Teriyaki steak, they claim its a ribeye, it tasted like a piece of beef liver. Horrible
Simply one of the best still-standing restaurants that sit within Edmonton. From a Rainbow Roll presentation to a cheesecake delight, it has an appetite for yours. Freshly made as its standard conduct, Mikado is a Japanese restaurant that deserves to stay with honor. Vegetarian options: Some options do not have fish; some are simply called avocado rolls.
Amazing food! We drove from Saskatoon to Edmonton and they did not disappoint.
Probably one of the best restaurants in town for fresh sashimi. Had otoro and chutoro as well as some typical Japanese sashimi (salmon, tuna, squid) and was blown away by the the soft and buttery texture of the otoro/chutoro. Everything else is delicious (bento, tempura, etc.) and much better than your average Japanese restaurant here.
Came here for some Gluten-free California rolls. Didnt look at the menu that they no longer offer Gluten-free crab and they sub salmon. My fault for not looking at the menu but VERY disappointed when I opened my box b/c I made a double order and this is not what I wanted.
One of the best Japanese restaurant in Edmonton. Good food and great services.
Fast and polite service. Good food. Quality and quantity was a great for price.
I love this place. Always fresh. Always friendly. High quality sushi.
I was blown away by the quality and flavors and none the less the great service and hospitality followed I highly recommend and will definatly come back
Absolutely amazing service from our server, Flora, and the rest of the staff. Great food and great atmosphere! Would give ten stars!
Spinach and sesame salad is really good.
Great service and a really good menu. The sashimi bento was a good value and delicious! It was my first visit to this restaurant, Id definitely go back!
Used to have the best service but I guess it has died down due to the pandemic impacting everything. I come back after 5 years and it seemed that the service wasn t as good it obviously changes over time but I didn t get the best service. I made an order and it felt almost rushed, I had to tell the server as they quickly walked off that I didnt want any onions in my order. The food was amazing, but then when I was about to give the payment amount on my own accord, the server rudely told me why they needed to give $1 when I was supposed to give that to them to pay for my bill . and after that they just walked away. I think the servers seem avoidant if you tried to just make a simple compliment too despite the social distancing still in place.
So fantastic always. Amazing food. Spectacular service. Absolutely recommended and will be back.
Sushi was mediocre, and very overpriced. The spicy rolls tasted of nothing but Tabasco.
Only good on weekdays, the chefs who cook on weekends are extremely bad. Called about my beef having no sauce, I asked them if they could replace it and they told me that it would taste the same I order the same bento at least once a week; I know how it tastes. I asked them if they could just change it to another chicken side then, and they told me sorry that costs extra, ummm excuse me? I m the one who has to drive out of my way to come back because your food was incorrectly prepared. Lesson learned I guess, I ll only order on weekdays. Update: the food is no longer the same. They decided to water down their sauces.
The food was expensive but excellent. The service was horrid. Its a relatively small restaurant and on the night we went seemed busy but well staffed. It took over 40 min to get our food. Thats okay it was worth it for the good meal. The real problem came at the end of the night. We waited and waited and waited for our waitress to return, we were going to a show at Allard Hall after our meal. We finally asked a buss boy for the bill and a box for our food. We got the box right away but the bill still never came. After another 10 min we just got up demanded our bill and left. Seemed like no real excuse for the bad service and other tables didnt seem to be neglected.
So good! Went for a lunch date and did not disappoint. Ate chicken karage, some rolls and a bento box. The presentation was great and everything was delicious. Shared a jug of sapporo in chilled glasses, yum! We thought it would be good if there was some sort of music playing especially to help the atmosphere a bit but otherwise was a good time.
I ate here last night and it was amazing. We got to experience inside those little rooms. Our server was super friendly & kind. We ordered the oysters & they were my favourite ! The spider roll, chop chop & tempura is a nuch try. We also got shrimp tempura & more. Overall the experience was great & defined will be coming back ! :)
Some of the best sushi Ive had in a while. I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was courteous and friendly. Definitely lives up to the high ratings. And real Wasabi?? Nice!!
We love the whole experience, great staff and food at very reasonable prices.
Went here with my cousin, an amazing experience, with delicious sushi, one of the places I would visit again when I visit Edmonton.
This restaurant just never disappoints, always fresh and very flavourful - a favourite go-to place for sure. Can t say enough about our waitress, she was truly fantastic ! My truck was hemmed-in in the parking lot from a careless persons crazy park-job beside me and I was unable to back out. Thankfully our destination was only 2 blocks away, our waitress took my number and called me once a vehicle (that was in front of my truck) had left - they had gone to the lengths of even placing a note on my windshield (to avoid being ticketed) and had put 2 milk crates in the vacated stall to guarantee me being able to get back and remove my truck. Thanks to the staff involved at Mikado, you went above a beyond for your customers!
Yum
My go quick meal is the lunch time bento box. Always enjoyable and served fresh . Great atmosphere and friendly service. Prices have gone up which is understandable however portion sizes have slightly been reduced . Still a great place to eat
Amazing
great place!
Excellent food. A bit pricey but so good!
Mikado is such A great Restaurant The best food here traditional look Nice Staff Mikado Downtown has it All! The best Japanese Cuisine in Edmonton Come to Mikado!
Classic Japanese dishes. The Benton was great, and the tempura dipping sauce really stood out!
Great place, great environment and very friendly and kind staff. Food is delicious. Great quality overall.
Nice place , good service , food look good but tase normal and some food make with hurry so my squid alredy cold and over cook , specialy is the price expensive
Order a special chop chop roll for take out and there is barely any chop chop in the roll. May as well just call it an avocado roll. For a $20 dish I expected more scallop in the roll not 2 small pieces. Now I know why I havent gone to Mikado for a long time, below average quality with an overprice price tag.
Been going for years, always top quality
Delicious, however very large pieces so harder to eat delicately lol
Great and friendly staff
Pretty good Japanese food. Our server was also really nice
Sashimi was surprisingly good on a thursday (fish shipments usually come on on friday). Subsequent orders got worse though as they probably were scrapping the bottom of the barrel and last order we got i wouldnt eat but still the first order was good. Sushi rice seasoning was a bit off. Seemed a bit old/dry too. Some of the specialty rolls were a little over packed. Giant rolls that you have to take in 2 bites or more which functionally arent great. And have had better of those. Miso soup was meh. Karaage was ok. Nothing special. Better than i was expecting with the sashimi but otherwise nothing special although not horrible.
Good food, great service!
Our favorite Japanese restaurant in Edmonton. Youll never get disappointed with the authentic taste.
Ordered through Uber Eats and got the veggie bento, toro nigiri, avocado nigiri and spicy tuna roll. It was definitely more food than I could eat haha. But everything was super fresh and delicious. I got the toro seared and it was perfect. Definitely satisfied my sushi craving.
The sashimi lunch bento is a great deal for $19. Every component is always well prepared and consistent. A go-to spot for sure!
Really good atmosphere and polite staff, the food was great!
Great service, great food and great environment.
The service was as horrible as the grease stains left from the tempura. Absolutely disgusting.
I had a great experience dining here! The food was delicious and service was very quick! The staff are great and will take time explaining things to you if you have any questions! Delicious Japanese food!
Best in Edmonton. I hadnt been there in years because Im the only sushi lover in my family and the quality actually got even better since my last visit. Wonderful stuff.
Mikado was the original good sushi restaurant in Edmonton. High quality sushi, and not simplified down to just California rolls. They really stand out and probably why they have been around forever. They have such good options.
poggers
Staff is not kind enough
Worst costumer service and really cheap place really about every penny
Best Japanese food in town!! Thank you!!
Great Food
Second time there and it was fantastic. Ian was so helpful with what was popular and what we would like. Thank you.
First time dining in since covid, they did a great job of making a safe atmosphere - loved the tatami room. Food was excellent as always, interesting and unique selection of rolls, sashimi combo was fresh and delicious.
The food and environment is amazing
Delicious food, great service
We ordered take-out for dinner tonight... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING! Salmon&Tuna Sashimi pieces were tiny (problably half of size a sashimi piece should be). The rolls we ordered were not tasty at all.... there was more rice than fish and substance. Even with the rolls consisting of mainly rice they were small. This sushi restaurant should be embarassed with what they are serving. We wanted to have a nice dinner and were left disappointed and still hungry after. We have ordered from here a few times, but it has gone downhill and will not be ordering again.
really ?! those tiny little rolls cost $20 dollars? That is like robbery. If you doubt me, go order their special rolls and see yourself.
It was amazing. Have a good time with my fam. The service was awesome!
Delicious
Enjoyed my sushi! Was ready quick too. Thanks
My favorite sushi restaurant in Edmonton, if you havent gone and you love sushi its a must try!
Edit: Went for rolls, spicy tuna tasted fishy, definitely not fresh dynamite roll was just a HUGE roll of rice, with a skinny shrimp and veggies so thin you couldn t taste them. Ate one piece and tasted like I just ate a massive scoop of rice, couldn t taste anything but rice. Not to mention it was overpriced for what you get. I did get sick after, but maybe because it was scorching hot outside+sushi .
We love this place, really good Japanese food, especially the spicy tuna rolls, and super cozy. Feels very authentic with the kimonoed servers and tatami rooms. We will be back!
Good food, slow service, poorly ventilated place
Mikado is always consistent with the quality of their menu and always delicious. Staff is always great as well.
good food, one of the rolls was really loose. great staff
Quality service and Japanese food. Mikado delivers exceptional food and customer service. This location is such a gem in the city. It s such a beautiful and clean restaurant establishment. Quiet and cozy. The staff and cooks you can see out in the open are always so friendly upon arrival and when you leave it adds to the warm atmosphere of the place. The food is phenomenal it s why I always keep coming back here with family whenever we want a special place to celebrate occasions. Quality bentos and sushi. The presentation is always so beautiful and the taste is always a hug to your taste buds. Cheers Mikado downtown!
Food and service were great! Had 2 extra people show up and they accommodated us by moving us into a private room, instead of just having us squeeze into the booth, which would have fit us, but they recognized the table space would have been limited. Baked oysters and sashimi were amazing as always.
Good fresh sushi every time.
Awesome food fantastic presentation and taste
Great food, great service. BBQ squid all the way!
Love the atmosphere, love the menu, parking can be fun, so can the transient people making their way to their own... Appointments? But really at the end of the day if you love sushi, this is a decent place to acquire it.
Pleasant experience dining with friends in semi-private Tatami Room.
Fresh, top-notch sushi
Always fresh and delicious!
Great sushi experience.
not what i expected from all the good things i heard about this place. the chicken teriyaki was extremely dry and even a bit hard to chew. the salad and tempura was fine, just normal, you cant really mess those things up. the few pieces of sashimi i had were good however, but small. things are really expensive here: ONE piece of nigiri ranges from $2-4, yeah, for one. and the $2 items were things like avocado and egg. if you go here i only really recommend the sushi, but be prepared to a. spend a lot of money or b. not be full after. what REALLY surprised me though was that when i was paying, the waiter grabbed my card (that i was holding!!) to see what card i was using. like ??? social distancing please?? i did not expect to be touched by my own waiter or have them blatantly try to see my card. that was absurd. yeah dont see myself coming here anytime soon unless someone wants to treat me lol.
Amazing service and absolutely delicious sushi and beef plates. I will definitely be coming back and inviting friends. Thanks Mikado downtown 5 stars from me!
Great quality and selection of fresh sushi. Convenient location. Amazing service. I recommend sitting in one of the side private rooms where shoe removal is required. Very authentic vibe. 10/10 will be returning!
Always good food at Mikado.
Bento box and nigiri sushi. All good always
Great. Had the Veggie Bento, the waitress was kind enough to point out the components containing fish sauce and recommend alternatives. I give it ten yam tempuras out of the nosey feeling of too much wasabe
Well lit and nicely kept clean, a large selection of menu items that are priced fairly for the quality, friendly staff! The one thing that would make the experience better is if there was some more flavours for the Tempura ice cream
I enjoy this restaurant. Have been here a couple of times and the food quality is always good and fresh and there is a nice variety on the menu. recommended.
Very good service, friendly staff but the food was below my expectation. Rolls were a bit disappointing. Same for tempura. Their nigiri is decent though. I appreciate the level of cleanliness they are maintaining.
Great food and atmosphere, the woman really enjoyed the time.
Good shared distance. Good food. Good service.
Great service, very friendly staff, very clean and safe! Good is very fresh. Excellent place to eat.
Always friendly and knowledgeable staff at this location. Food is amazing and place is nice and clean
Yum
Spectacular as always! Mikado has long been our go-to sushi spot!
