District 102 in Edmonton

Id go back for the decor, cocktails and fries! First time having cantaloupe in a cocktail, was delicious The melon basil mimosa. Great atmosphere, right next to the cinema and train station outside which was convenient.

Jenny and all the servers are fantastic! Food super! Atmosphere the best! Highly recommended!

We ordered the nachos they were the worst I ever had pretty sure they used cheese whiz the coffee came out of a machine it was horrible never going back.

Great looking restaurant and convenient while staying in the attached hotel, but some very terrible food. Ordered chicken and waffles as well as the avocado toast with eggs. Chicken tasted decent but thin and soggy waffles were burnt and had a terrible chemical taste. Was inedible. The avocado toast had poached eggs which were overdone so the yolk was hard. The avocado was past its prime and was brown. And toast was mushy and soggy. Would definitely avoid paying $50 for such a disappointing meal in the future.

Currently been waiting 2 hours total for a burger and my bill. Horrific service. I will never be back.

So lame low key the staff was lazing around all around the room. Barely any table checks, had to ask for a forgotten order. To add to it I wouldn t say this place is open minded (the bartender specifically) .

Went here at Mother s Day. Did not have much choices for brunch. We were told that they change the menu for brunch. I just hope that still have the option to eat their regular breakfast meals

I came here for breakfast every day while staying at the Delta. The servers are absolutely amazing. The food was great. I was staying for a week so had a chance to try a few things on the breakfast menu. The portions are great. The all canadian breakfast basically has it all. It was my first time trying avocado toast and it was delicious and I wish I had taken a photo of it - it was presented beautifully. I would recommend breakfast here for sure. Great service great food.

For a Sunday brunch it was awkwardly dead in the restaurant. But the service was great. We had the salmon Benny which was pretty good, could have had more flavour. It s a beautiful place to go,but bad location being in city centre mall.

Was $30 for two pints of beer... for a place in city centre they have to make a change if they want to stay around

The worst service I have ever been! We went there last Sunday around 6-7 pm, the lady gave us a tiny menu which had only like 15 choices of food. We didn t know, and my boyfriend suddenly search on their website and it showed a lots of option which is different menu. My boyfriend asked her do you have another menu, she said no. So disappointed! She had to serve and cook at the same time , service is bad and food not good either! We end up order taco beef ! When the brought the food to our table , the plate was warm, and the meat was cold ! We wanted to let her know that we can t eat cold meat but she never come back to the table to check . When we done the drink , she came to asked how is everything! We just asked for the bill. We gave 0$ tip for bad service and food! When she printed the receipts , she walked away and just say have a good night with her back facing to us and walking. Very very bad service.

The food and the presentation were excellent. Hemant and our server were an absolute delight and very knowledgeable about the menu. Even though it is a little out of the way in downtown Edmonton I would highly recommend giving them a try. My wife says she had the best fries she has ever had!

Very nice place visually - however the food and service was lacking. No communication between the greeter and the waiter resulted in our order being placed incorrectly and being asked twice to take our order. No one came back to check to see how things were - the food was a bit overdone. Was only 2 other tables there when we had lunch, I feel let down.

Wisit this place for breakfast. Best option if you stay at Marriott. Great interior and fancy dish. The staff super friendly and supportive. They have high chairs for kids and offer you coffee to go. Gave only 4 because breakfast was very good but not the best.

I decided to try out this restaurant. Its hidden on the top floor of City Centre Mall West, formerly known as Eatons Center. I immediately noticed it a while ago from its hallway appeal. Its very nicely designed and has a great ambience! Its also located next to the Landmark Cinemas in City Center West, which was ideal for me, because I was planning on having lunch with family and then catching a movie afterwards. Overall, good was great! I had the burger 102 and it tasted very fresh and was a good size for the price. House salad was also good! There is a shuffle board and billiards table behind the dining tables, so you can stick around and have a drink after your meal. Lunch specials are also available. Will return soon!

The racist restaurant Ive ever visited. RACIST. I (Asian), and a friend (white) visited this restaurant last Saturday (Dec 31, 2022). This was actually my second time visiting this restaurant because I really liked its vibe on my first visit. We sat at the bar and this Indian bartender asked me to present him my credit card to ensure I could pay for my drink and food. While my friend (white) told him that he would pay by cash, the bartender didnt even bother to ask any further questions but insisted on actually seeing my credit card before serving us. Since this was not my first time here at District 102, and I was never asked to present a credit card before getting served in my entire life, I was like ok if that was your policy, and gave him my credit card. FYI Mine was a black credit card in case you are judging me. Then the bartender kept my card and put it next to his register. When the bartender was busy serving, I was looking around and was surprised as he never asked anyone else for the credit card before serving them. There was four white people (two men two women in their 50s maybe) sitting next to us at the bar (we entered District 102 at the same time), one white woman came after us and was sitting at the table probably waiting for her friends. None of them was asked to present a credit card. Nobody was asked to present a credit card but me, an Asian customer. Very quickly, I realized that this restaurant was totally a joke and this Indian bartender is a racist, I told him I wanted my credit card back. Then he said I could order and he would just put it on my tab. Jesus Christ, thats how every single restaurant does and that was what he should have done in the first place. But no. The bartender decided to be a racist, and I decided not to spend a dime in this restaurant, not ever again. Then here I am, very happy to give this restaurant one star and share my experience. P/S: to the manager or the owner: check your camera to see what happened that night. I did not lie.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. Saturday night at dinner time and there was only 1 server on deck, and 1 bartender, with 50% full restaurant. Everyone in there looked mad because they were waiting so long. Waited 20 min with no orders taken before we left. Would not recommend based on lack of service.

Center city mall, no parking no ease of access, really expensive hotel foood for more than Orignal Joes.

The manager was super helpful and the staff were lovely! I had the spicy chicken quesadilla and my friend had the grilled cheese and they were both to die for!!! Thank you so much Hemanth! Will be back again

The horrendously slow & inattentive service was marred only by the bland, tasteless food that came with a severely overpriced tag. Food & service were so egregiously poor that for the 1st time in 20yrs I left w/out leaving a tip. There are way better places to eat right down the street, dont waste your time or your money here, youll thank me for that later.

Bland, massively overpriced, and misleading. I had the misfortune of ordering the spaghetti carbonara, and calling it that is an insult to my intelligence, my taste buds, and pasta in general. A carbonara has eggs, egg yolk, cheese (pecorino romano and parmigiano reggiano), and guanciale (traditionally) or pancetta. What I was served was spaghettini (not spaghetti) in a bland, unseasoned cream sauce with mushrooms, asiago and pancetta. I was fine with the asiago substitution because it was mentioned on the menu, but carbonara is NEVER a cream sauce, and if youre going to add mushrooms you must at least put that on the menu. Guanciale is also widely available in Edmonton so there is no reason to use pancetta other than it being much cheaper. The dish was utterly tastless, it was like they forgot to salt or season any part of it. I have had more flavorful water. Even if they hadnt called it carbonara and charged $28 for a dish that didnt cost more than $8 to make, it would have still been terrible. Ive had more flavorful dishes at Olive Garden. The berry mojito was made with a sickeningly sweet storebought syrup and was absolutely disgusting. Id rather drink rum and kool-aid mixed for me by Jim Jones. The food tastes like the chef hates their life and their customers, and it is obvious that the only thing they are passionate about at this restaraunt is using cheap ingredients to cut costs. I did not finish my spaghettini in mushroom cream sauce, and needless to say I will not be back. Good presentation is nice, but if the food is tasteless and devoid of passion, its absolutely meaningless. Even the asiago, which was used in conjunction with cream to cut the cost of parmigiano and pecorino was a cheap, powdered version. That alone says it all. What a scam of a restaraunt. PS: IF IT HAS CREAM, DONT CALL IT CARBONARA.

Stopped in before the Shania Twain concert and I m so glad we did. Food was great, good environment, our server Sarah was amazing!! Super friendly and answer all of my annoying questions, would return for her service alone! 5/5 overall for sure. Thanks district 102!!

Very salty pizza and grilled cheese sandwich. And the croquette was a bit bland. Service was friendly and this was a quiet place to meet up with friends for lunch.

Good food.

Food was awful! Chips and dip with root vegetables presented like a high school HomeEc class. Chicken sandwich made by a chef whos apparently never eaten a sandwich before. But, the pièce de résistance was some sort of pork belly ramen concoction where the chef did not render the pork belly fat. It was inedible and I returned it to the kitchen. Neither the manager nor the chef took the time to speak to us. Although the ramen was removed from the bill, no other goodwill gesture was extended. The server was pleasant though.

15$ for a sandwich with ice cold veggies and bland bread. Not coming back

Food was delicious but came out cold. Not super busy but definitely understaffed. Don t sit on the brown and black wooden chairs. Highly uncomfortable. Sit in a booth or on a grey comfy chair.

Whenever I am in Edmonton, I stay at Delta and go to 102 District. Amazing food and exceptional service. Jenny, Buddhika, Mudith, Gladya, and Suzie (Chef), all of you are Rockstars!! Thank you all so much for amazing service and finger licking good food. Highly recommended.

I am staying at the Delta for over a week and have been enjoying my breakfast everyday at District 102. The food is excellent. The staff is attentive, and friendly - Jenny and Sue were wonderful. They were very happy to accommodate my dietary needs. I high recommend the avacado toast!!!! Thanks to Susie in the kitchen for making the best avacado toasts.

Hotel style food. Quiet and good for meetings. convenient location if you re visiting the mall or staying at the Delta since there isn t plenty of choice around but I cannot say that it was an ultimate culinary experience.

Rude staff and bad service for overpriced food

This burger is soooo good. I cant forget the taste. They have a new menu and I can describe the taste as explosion. A lot of crunchiness. Not your ordinary burger. See for yourself. Food

The food is ok! Service was really good. We had dinner before a hockey game. Prices are decent, nothing to rave about in terms of food, needs a lot of work.

One of the best place I ve eaten ever. Just below the hotel and serves great and diverse meals. Sue was absolutely great and she helped me find the right foods at the right time. Would definitely come back!!

Shame on the management. Only two working on an Oilers Game night. We waited 30 minutes for the first round of drinks, and another 40 minutes for food and second round, had to eat and drink fast and run to the game. (we had allowed 90 minutes for the bite to eat before the game) We ordered bacon on both burgers, got charged 5.00 and didnt get them in the burgers. There are only a few items on the menu, how can the kitchen possibly mess up two identical burgers and miss the bacon you charged the customer for? The burgers are meh, just a superstore frozen type. We paid before the food and drinks were delivered to speed up the process and I paid her a 20.00 tip on a 76.00 bill, but I should not have paid for the meal at all. (Two burgers (missed the bacon) , 3 beers ! In the bathroom, no paper towel and no functioning air dryer. For a restaurant in a hotel, in the Ice District, thats a shame. Stay Away !

The service is great! The staff are friendl, helpful and very hardworking. Their chimichurri is tasty and delicious! The perogies are expertly fried and their hand crafted cocktails are incredible. The interior is outstanding inspired by salvaged aircraft parts which chic and cool!

This place is amazing! Food and service is top notch. Should be 10 times busier then it is.

Amazing service, staff, food and drink

District 102 in Edmonton City Centre make good cocktails. One of which is an Old Fashioned. Great seating area on the right when you first enter, and great bar area. They also have dinner seating on the left and in the back area. Great vibe whether you want to catch a sports game or to hang out away from shopping or the Delta hotel. Great service too.

Superb!!! Visiting from Las Vegas. Food & drinks, I cant complain. The service at the bar is worth mentioning though. Buddhi & Zach are the most friendly, professional & thorough servers ever. I gotta admit, these two are better than the ones at the nearby JWMarriott bar/restaurant.

This is an amazing pub/restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting, there s plenty of activities to entertain, the service was phenomenal, and the food was amazing! 10/10 will be coming back.

Great food and great drinks, this place really focuses on the small details. Everything is local including the alcohol. I really loved the freshness of the ingredients and the staff were extremely friendly and polite.

All Edmonton tap list, great food, and TWO tasteful shuffleboard tables. Slice of heaven.

Just had lunch with my colleagues at this new, modern, and fancy downtown eatery. My colleague just went on Wednesday, and told me that this is a definite place for us to go. So we did! One colleague got the pulled pork sandwich, another got the cobb salad, and I got the District 102 burger. The pulled pork sandwich looked really good as well as the cobb salad (very good size too). My burger was very juice and delicious. They didnt fully cooked the pattie. Both sandwiches came with a pretzel bun, so it was a great texture and slightly chewy to the bread. Will definitely come back to try another dish.

Drink service was slower than a person could imagine. The bartender seemed to not know how to mix drinks and took ages to make ours (15min). Our Server, Michael, was extremely rude and seemed uninterested. Poor showing for a new bar.

Stylish environment, a great place to chill at the bar or have lunch with clients & colleagues. Jason was accommodating with our every request. Sam is always welcoming and brilliant with cocktails. Overall a fabulous experience.

Great new restaurant in downtown tucked away upstairs by of the Delta hotel near the theater. Happy hour from 3-6 and 9 to close. Has a pool table, two shuffleboard tables and an Xbox. Food looked delicious but only got the beers and fries. Highly recommend to check out as it was pretty quiet at 6pm on a Thursday.

Beautiful area, with great tasting food. Staff and are quick for refills. The server Jenny was extremely nice and friendly, I would recommend this to anyone, however the price is a little steep and the menu is fairly basic.

Above and beyond customer service and food at District 102. We visited 3/6/2020 for dinner while staying at the Delta. The wings were the best weve ever had. The burger, yam gnocchi, and Margaritas were so very delicious. But the service was top notch. Thank you to the manager for hooking us up with some amazing sauces for our son. We will definitely be back!

Its a great place to eat & meet friends, to watch the games! But right now, its being used as a part of the Hockey Bubble; with a few other hotels! And isnt available to the public till after the season is finished!
