Yesterday stopped for a beer and appetizer. Beer cup failed on my first sip, bottom fell out and dumped the whole beer in my lap. Was not offered even a cloth to soak up a full beer on my completely soaked, brand new boss jeans. Had to move tables, as nobody was worried about the remainder of the full beer on the floor. Was not offered a dicount at all off my bill or even a free beer for my wrecked clothes. Had plans after this stop which were also ruined by being completely soaked and having to go home. Thanks Local. wont be back.

Used to really like this place but the food portions seem to be getting smaller while the prices go up. girlfriend ordered the curry bowl and there was maybe 6-7 bites of food total. Truly disappointing considering the price.

Four of us came to LPE for lunch knowing that the food and service is great. But the service that we received today was exemplary. Our server was on point all afternoon made sure we had what we needed and did it with a great attitude even though they we re slammmed. Our group travels for work 300ish days a year and it s refreshing to be treated this well at an establishment. Thank you Kennedy for making our afternoon and reminding us what truly over and above service is.

Food is solid, servers are attentive and are good with orders. Music often too loud in the space for lunch conversations though.

Stopped for lunch today. Server was so slow we had to order drinks from the bar. Not an issue she was slow but didnt even acknowledge our table. We ordered food. Everyone is on tough times, doesnt mean you can charge $20 for the smallest portion of nachos I have ever seen. It was a dinner plate with a few chips and hardly any ground beef on it, nevermind any other toppings. Cant say I would return to this establishment. Definitely do not recommend. Although, the beer was good. The paralyzer was terrible, sent the first one back because it curdled and the liquor was wrong in the highball drink that was ordered. Just didnt get much right on this one today.

Came here with my family for my step daughter s 23rd birthday and was better than I expected. It was a Thursday and we got in right away even with 6 people. They have nice big booths to sit in. It was quite full and the music and tv screens were really loud but we managed to hear each other still and enjoy ourselves. The waitress was great and seemed to go even beyond average service and even offered a complimentary scoop of ice cream for the birthday girl! The food was good and we all were satisfied! Thanks

I have never tasted such bad food as we did tonight at this local. Before stepping foot into this place, i tried 2 different other establishments, and they were all full with a minimum wait of 45 mins to one hr for seating. We were pleasantly surprised when Local was able to take us in right away. I now know why. Our waitress was nice but very new and couldnt answer most of our questions about the foods on the menu. When we did get our food, we had no cutleries. The reason being, they were all dirty and needed to get washed. What kind of restaurant runs out of clean cutleries at dinner time? Upon digging into our food, every single dish was full of salt. All 4 appetizers were salty, chicken salad were salty, chicken Ramen must have half a bucket of salt in it, the drunken chicken on rice could barely taste of anything but salt and the pasta dish were nothing but a dish of salt. What is with all the salt? Is this the only ingredient that was used on EVERY dishes? I figured we get what we paid for, but with each dish over the $22-24 marks, I would think we should have gotten better. With the bill of over $225 for 5 ppl before tips, I simply have to give this place a nasty 1 star (because theres no negative rating).

On a date night with my wife, dinner and a show. We picked Local for dinner place and what a mistake that was, she ordered a salad with chicken & I chose the steak cooked at medium. Meals came out together as they should her salad was perfect, my steak on the other hand was not it was cold. I brought the issue forward to our server, she returned it to the kitchen and informed me it was going to take 15 minutes to cook another steak, really 15 minutes to cook a 10oz steak to medium. So I watch my wife eat her meal then she watched me eat mine. Parking: Lots of areas with standing water

From the initial phone call to speak with the manager (Nikita) concerning food allergies (I have celiac disease) to the service provided by Pasa aaallllll the way around to the food I ate without taking pictures... Outstanding!!! The Local Burger and the fully loaded crispy potatoes are FANTASTIC. Pasa was attentive, personable, and pleasant. Nikita hit all the nails on the head regarding safe food prep and having a large handful of options for gluten-free. Favourite new restaurant in Edmonton!

Lets be honest the food makes or breaks these reviews portions were garbage, and overpriced. Service was excellent, food was mid at best. The atmosphere was good. Management must do a good job because the wait staff seems to be very enthusiastic and happy.

The spicy edamame was delicious! All the food we ordered was delicious. I ordered the spicy guava margarita, very worth it. Staff was friendly, and there is a kid friendly area in the back as well. My favorite casual place to go to dinner with family or friends. I love that they play music videos on some of the TVs, there are games to play and a great selection of food on the menu.

I was looking forward ti the Local burger however, it was on the cooler side when I got it. A reservation was made for 16, there was 11 of us. We had to ask for more utensils and napkins, they should have been prepared. It took a bit to have our bills sorted individually, we did mention at the beginning we would be doing this. I did tell some friends in the summer about a place that does a great smash burger, now Im not so sure.

Worst meal ever!! Chicken burger looked like it was cooked hours ago and had almost no chicken, just batter. Awful!

This place is great! I always enjoy visiting and have the pinche tacos and a few cheeky bevies. The more lounge feel makes for some great nights. Dietary restrictions: You can easily manipulate this menu for lettuce wrapping things or creating healthier options.

Pretty busy for a Thursday lunch, looks like lots of business lunches. Good service. Good food. A bit on the pricey side as lunch for two was $56.00 and it was 2 mains and a pop.

We had a Business lunch here last week. The food was delicious & quick to serve...the servers friendly...the only thing I could comment on the dpwn side was the music was too loud, however in their defense, it was not the most ideal location for a meeting lunch.

The food is average. Lacks serious flavour. 3/5 The service is slow. Very slow, but friendly. 2/5 Atmosphere is loud if you re trying to have a conversation. Fine if you re ok with that. Open concept. Majority is high top tables. Low seat backs on chairs. Few booths along the outside walls. 3/5 Looking at it from a business lunch perspective. It s to slow and noisy. Wouldn t recommend.

Humm.. I had a burger with fries. The fries were and utter disappointment. They were toothpicks for fries. Wendys has better fries. Please improve this.. Other than that everything was fine.

I have been to the jasper local pub and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately the experience at this one was not as great. It was really hard to get anyone to serve us. The food was okay. I would have given a higher rating if the service was better. It made the experience not as great.

Great menu options. The LE Greens salad with blackened chicken is so good! My niece dined with me and even with her dietary restrictions, there was ample options for her.

Delicious food and great service .

Overall, I loved it, went with a family of 5 and the food was good, the servers were pleasant, and the restaurant was clean despite being very busy. I had the Diablo burgo and nachos, the others had the regular cheese burger, drunken chicken and fish and chips. Although the portions were small, everything turned out great, and we didnt have to wait very long for our food. My only real complaint was there is no real kids menu, and we were told by the server theres a kids menu they know from memory but not on a menu, but it included pop and ice cream... we were charged separately from their burgers 6.50 for a tiny ice cream, 4.00 from their fountain drink and overall I belive the kids meals were around $23 each which is pricey for a kids meal compared to anywhere else. Kid-friendliness: Theres no traditional kids menu and it must be requested by the server.

Whe. The regional manager looks you right in your eye and yawns . The waitreses was horrible. Not busy but she was there for her cheque. I wont even return when the next restaurant opens here.

I love local for their tuna poke and i order it quite frequently,mostly through doordash. And tonight, i ordered my usual tuna poke and an amazing chicken burger for my husband, and i must say whoever made my poke . Well its the best i have ever had, the perfect amount of spiceness and deliverance. Absolutely perfect and in all the years of trying different chicken burgers, holy im impressed. Thank you
