Staff not setup for success. Ended up having to share cutlery between my family. Buffett was $100 for family of 4, was cold, and picked over. Overall quality wasn't there

I just stayed at this hotel and I was very upset with the service at the restaurant for breakfast. I waited over 10 minutes for the server to even acknowledge that I was sitting there waiting for a menu or coffee before she casually asked me if I was there for breakfast... Then I asked for a little menu clarification because I spotted several major errors (including labeling something as nut free when it has walnuts!).. after that I ordered and waited another 22 minutes before leaving furiously because all I ordered was Oatmeal. I passed by a sales manager in the lobby and she helped me and even brought my order to my room. She was very pleasant and focused on service recovery unlike the restaurant staff.. Also, don't call your oatmeal steel cut oats if it's rolled oats.. it's not the same thing.

We went here for supper before heading to a show at the Citadel because it was conveniently close. Firstly, there was no host to greet us nor was there a sign to indicate we should seat ourselves at the entrance of the restaurant. We wandered in, slightly confused right from the start, and we thought we would get faster service at the second floor loft near the bar, rather than the large main floor seating area. A young waitress came fairly soon to bring water and menus. She seemed inexperienced. It became clear that she was swamped with having to manage all of the tables, both upper and lower floors. There must have been at least 20 tables between both floors and there were a couple of large tables of 8+ people. She was having trouble keeping up to clearing tables, taking orders and delivering food. Eventually, another staff member came to our table, who apologized and hurriedly took our order and entered it in the system on behalf of the waitress. There had been a bartender when we arrived, but he had disappeared, so the same lady that took our food order, got our drinks herself. She then went to another room to do table setups, rather than continuing to assist the waitress. The food took a LOOOONG time to come out. The bartender brought it to us. My husband's fish and chips were BURNED. He notified the bartender (we hadn't seen the waitress again since she brought the menus) and he took it back. When he brought the replacement, it was missing the tartar sauce and lemon wedges. My clubhouse sandwich was okay, but for the price, I was expecting better. We weren't offered a choice of side, they just brought fries with both meals. I overheard another couple ordering a side salad, rather than fries, which is what I would have preferred if I was given the choice. When the waitress finally returned to our table, we told her we sent the fish back. She looked confused, didn't apologize or offer assistance, and left. We flagged down the bartender to pay our bill as we had to get going to our show. We saw other tables getting agitated that they weren't being tended to and one of the patrons was at the bar complaining to the bartender. We don't blame the waitress. They were obviously SEVERELY understaffed for a Saturday night supper hour. It wasn't clear if there was a manager present, the waitress was drowning, half of the tables had not been cleared of dishes and cleaned, and the bartender seemed to come and go at his leisure. We will not be going back any time soon.

We had a reservation. No one was there to seat us so my wife and I sat ourselves after waiting a bit. We then waited 15-20 minutes and no one served us so we walked out. The waitress totally ignored us (and others there too) and it wasn’t busy. We were both well dressed as we were going to the theatre after.

Generally provides consistent quality of food but missed the mark on my most recent visit. However, they were able to rectify the situation, and I was satisfied with the resolution. In terms of pricing, they're slightly more expensive than similar grade hotels. The staff are pleasant, and they don't bother you too much, so you can enjoy your food in peace. It's definitely worth visiting if you're staying at the Westin, especially since the winter temperatures here are unreasonably cold.

Review only based on drink take out. Walked downstairs to order a wine to go. Wines only come in 5oz/ 8oz/ bottle (no half bottles) Friendly server staff, even made sure I did not have any nut allergies and gave me warm nuts to go with my wine as I walked it up to my room myself. Dining area seems beautiful and clean.

Friendly waiter, classy service, good latte and crème brûlée. Wings were ok, seemed a bit stringy with the meat but a nice setting to have post Citadel eats and drinks.

I visited Share Restaurant (of the Westin Edmonton hotel) for dinner one evening. I ordered the salad with the goat cheese, tomatoes, salmon, etc. It was pretty good. The server was okay. Coworkers of mine ate breakfast here and said that the food was good but quite pricey (e.g., $20-30/person). There is a bar to order drinks and a handful of TVs to watch sports.

Food is meh, prices were very high. This restaurant is also in the hotel lobby, the ambience isn t good. Food ordered: duck tagliatelle = bad (pasta and duck very over cooked, sauce very bland). Mushroom flatbread, Burger = fine, I guess. Crab cake = good!

They wanted $63 for 1 adult and 1 child to eat breakfast?!?! Skip the dishes is cheaper with WAY more options.

Ordered the Salmon salad with spring greens, almonds, beets and goat cheese. Arrived on a bed of kale and salmon was dry. After checking the menu about the kale the waiter brought out a plate of spring greens with the fixins. Helpful and much better taste. Dessert (toffee pudding with ice cream) was okay but, imo, over-priced. My dinner companions enjoyed their food. We rotate through downtown restaurants before a show. I wont suggest that Share is part of the rotation.
