We are a small boutique eatery focusing on providing seasonally inspired dishes, highlighted by the bounty of our region. We aim to provide handcrafted cuisine, prepared from scratch, and genuine hospitality, in a warm and welcoming environment.
Great place. Best restaurant I have been to in years! Our Waitress-Trina was wonderful, providing service above and beyond; and the food was great. The Restaurant was quiet enough that we were able to visit without having to shout. Fun was had by all.
Great spot for brunch. Friendly service and great casual relaxing atmosphere. Industrial meets woodsy green kinda vibe. Dress comfy or in your best Sunday clothes, it fits all occasions. We had the chorizo scramble hash and the creme brule french toast. Huge flavourful portions, which definitely met our expectations.
The evening started promisingly when a friend brought us to her favorite restaurant for a special dinner. However, the meal quickly took a disappointing turn. The food quality was subpar - the duck breast was tiny, the potato was dry and burnt, and the sausage was ice cold. I only took one photo, as the server brought a replacement dish for the sausage, but the taste was still poor. My friend's husband even found a piece of plastic in his pork chop. My own risotto was the consistency of runny porridge. While the server was friendly, we felt the late hour had shifted the staff's focus elsewhere. My friend had to flag down the server to order wine, and the entrees were not checked on promptly, leading to the delay in replacing the unsatisfactory dishes. Even our cocktails were flawed, as they were served warm and we had to request ice. Although the restaurant did discount the bill in an attempt to make amends, we were quite surprised by the lack of attention to detail and overall poor quality, given this was meant to be a high-end establishment. Our friend was clearly embarrassed, as she had previously raved about how wonderful the restaurant was. In the end, the meal was a letdown, and we have no plans to return.
It's such a great place. Love the relaxed atmosphere but the food is elevated. Went with the family (age 12+) and everyone loved their dish. Service is always excellent here.
An exceptional dining experience. Wonderful service and ambiance. The harvest from the garden beside the patio translates into gourmet works of art on the plate. Will definitely return.
Bring big appetite! I usually don't have any left overs but here, I couldn't finish my meal and had to box it lol it's a bit pricy for brunch, but looking at the portion size..... it's actually not pricy at all! Staff are really friendly and nice, atmosphere is good.
Visited this restaurant few months ago. Dishes were freshly cooked as you can see, it’s an open kitchen concept. Ambiance was authentically unique. Portions were enormously satisfying. The server was AMAZING.
Highly recommend this place!! Food was exceptional and the service was great too. Our server Jill was amazing! We wanted to try a bunch of food and she came around bringing us clean plates for each dish and wiping the table in between dishes. Considering the amazing quality and taste of the food and great portion sizes, the price really wasn't bad. They also have a great selection of drinks and pictures of the cocktails in their menu make picking one easy.
Great food, excellent service from waitress and nice atmosphere.
Excellent Food Local made Nice service We love it Food : 5/5 |
I had high hopes for The Workshop Eatery as we celebrated a birthday party here recently, but unfortunately, it was a lackluster experience. Our group consisted of 20 people spread across two tables, but shockingly, there was only one server attending to us. This resulted in excruciating wait times of about 45 minutes to an hour for our main courses, leaving several of us quite hungry even after appetizers, which in almost all cases should have been enough to hold us over. When our meals finally arrived, they were cold, including the featured dishes that came highly recommended by the server. The quality and temperature of the food were far from acceptable, adding to our dissatisfaction. After the event, I reached out to management to express our bad experience about the poor service and unpalatable meals. However, I received no response from them, which was incredibly disappointing. I was assured of a callback, which never happened. A week later, I followed up again, hoping for at least an acknowledgment or an apology, and yet again, I was left without a response. All I requested was a fair resolution for my meal plus one, not the entire group s - which could have been a partial refund or an invitation to return with the promise of a better experience. Sadly, I received neither. I was completely surprised at the lack of professionalism and tastiness this establishment gets praised on. It s disheartening when an establishment fails to follow through on their service promises, especially when a birthday celebration is involved. I sincerely hope they improve their customer service and dining experience, but until then, I cannot recommend The Workshop Eatery and will NOT return again.
Amazing food. Love the rotational dishes and drinks. Every time I come here theres a little something that brings me out of my comfort shell for food and introduces me to new experiences. Staff is absolutely amazing and the place feels comferting when you sit down to eat.
Best date night atmosphere in the area. Great food, great drinks, and wonderful service. Worth the price. Better food than the keg, by far. I highly recommend this for your next date night.
Love this place. I have been many times, and they never disappoint. If the place is full, it can get quite loud. Its only negative point.
One of our favorite places to eat
Wonderful brunch for my grandmothers birthday today - we had a big group and the service was fab. The food was delicious and Kayla really went out of her way to make sure that our family had a special day. Huge thanks!!
Great !
Some friends and I stumbled upon The Workshop Eatery a few months ago and had an outstanding experience. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I ve since introduced the restaurant to family members and make a visit every time I m in Edmonton. Today, my son and I came and I had a tiny challenge. Carolyn (I believe was the name of the lovely lady that was helping with our table) took charge and immediately corrected the challenge and went above and beyond. What could ve been an ok experience was made outstanding again by Carolyn. THANK YOU, ladies. I will DEFINITELY be back! Dietary restrictions: Excellent care and detail paid to my celiac allergy. Thank you!
It was crazy busy on Sunday night during the long weekend, but the drinks were on point! I recommend you try this restaurant.
The food was okay, not my taste.
This is my go to place when Im in south Edmonton. The staff are amazing, no wait times, vibes are great and wonderful selection of drinks. Bright, lively and modern. Xo Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options!
The G.O.A.T.
Had there lemon meringue cheese cake. OMG so good
We were celebrating my friends birthday, a special evening. However, after finding the remote restaurant she ordered the short ribs and I had toe lamb. We were both disappointed. Her ribs were a small portion, fatty and rare. Most of it inedible. Her meal came tepid and had to send it back where they microwaved it to heat it up again. No vegetables, just a large serving of mashed potatoes. My meal, lamb shank was good enough, however the out side was quite hard , like over-sauteed meat on a lot of quinoa, no vegetable. We were both disappointed cause it was supposed to be so good. Oh well, there are lots of other great restaurants.
Almost 2 hours for food but the food was ok. If you are looking at reviews and think it looks good then dont lets this review dissuade you, you will probably love it. If like me you were hesitant youll find the food a little overworked. My steak was cooked perfectly but the pan sauce masked its flavor. Only two beers on tap but the beers they chose were good ones. I dont think I would come again. The food wasnt to my taste but was clearly made and seleced with care.
My wife and I always have a great time when we come here. The food and design/atmosphere are top-notch, and the servers are wonderful!
Attended a served wedding. Top notch place, love the huge living wall in the atrium. Extremely comfortable setting and staff was 10/10. Food was mass plated and portions were perfect and delicious. The charcuterie, arancini, steak were perfect. The lemon meringue cheesecake was amazing (I normally dont like cheesecake). Highly recommended establishment
Awesome food. Went with family, and all the portions were really good. I had the French toast creme brulee, and it was a huge portion worth the money. The service was good, the location was nice with lots of parking. Friendly atmosphere. Would go again and recommend it to everyone.
The absolute best sandwich I have ever had, I had the short rib sandwich and it was beyond delicious! As was the fried chicken sandwich and the soup of the day which was a lamb stew, was spectacular. Update to review: came here again, brought my sister from out of town and the burger ws delicious! However I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was burnt. Due to famine around the world i dont like to throw away food and the sandwich was edible so didnt complain to the waitress, but was very disappointed that they put a piece of burnt fried chicken in my sandwich.
Its ok
Very bad experience our dinner was dry and overcooked. Also their staff are arrogant and rude. We wont be back.
A bit pricey but delicious.
The food was delicious! I had the Smoked Short Ribs and cheese cake. You need a reservation to get in, but worth the wait. Food
Im a chef of 25 years. Just had the mussels and the steak cut of the day. Food was out of this world, service was perfect. Highly recommend! Very well executed! Food
I have been many times ..maybe this was an off day. Usually service is awesome. Will be back and re review
Fresh food and not the usual sides and entrees. This place is refreshingly different. The service was top notch but I recommend a reservation. Had the deep fried mac N cheese balls with shrimp tonight and the other dish was steak. All great!
The food was amazing... The only thing was that there were too many flies hanging around us.
The food was incredible, as was the service.
Wow. My first visit here with a friend for lunch. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious, I had the grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, my friend had the salmon, and the service was phenomenal. I cannot &say enough about how amazing Marina (the manager) is. I highly recommend this place.
This restaurant used to good, but it s gone downhill big time. It took 45 mins for our food to come out. Our server was rude and just RBF the whole time. Our meals were overly salty. The chicken was dry and bland. The muscles tasted like they just dumped salt on it. Hope some better cooks get hired.
Amazing food, amazing food and amazing atmosphere. Definitely will be back!
FOOD COMA ALERT! My Husband and I went for brunch and I had the breakfast burger with hash browns. It was delicious and as a warning to others it will leave you full and ready for an after open nap! Servers were attentive and everything was fairly priced considering quality and portion size.
Amazing food, Great service. We highly recommend !!
The lunch was so bad. burgure was undercook but dessert was good
The service you get in this place is exceptional, the server who helped us was friendly and made us feel like we are talking to a friend, what I took issue with was the food, it was not terrible, but for the price and the wait time, I expected a lot more than what I saw, the sandwich bread was toasted but it was dripping with oil, the sauce in the salad was kind of watery and the hamburger patty was bland, needed a lot more seasoning, same as the chips. On the plus side, I did enjoy the coffee and the dessert. All in all, I don t think I will go back, but thumbs up for the service and great atmosphere
Great place!
Been going to this restaurant with my husband for years. Each time the service, quality of food, and atmosphere is always perfect.
High quality food! A bit pricey ($38 for grilled chicken, gnocci). Several different appetizers and entrees were ordered in our group, no one was disappointed.
Quick birthday lunch celebration for my 20yr old and it was great. The food, service and ambience makes for perfect summer hang out spot. Highly recommend
Doefs greenhouse wedge Crisp butterleaf, baby tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, sunflower seeds, hard boiled egg , lemon herb dressing... there is no hard boiled egg...and no cucumber...2 sunflower seeds...totally over priced terrible salad...pathetic.
Beautiful space. Delicious food and excellent service
Its small but the food is exceptional.
Fabulous meal & great service!
This restaurant has a small menu but some of the best tastes you will find. The chef has focused on several dishes , with fresh, local herbs, spices and vegetables. Thr combination is amazing. Highly recommended
Food tasted delicious! Service was slow even before lunch rush although everyone was kind.
Birthday brunch, friendly service, delicious food
their breakfast was some of the worst breakfast i ever had. service was amazing, but the eggs, ham, and sausage i ordered weren t good at all. i d never eat breakfast here again.
Maybe my expectations were too high or we came for the wrong meal and dinner is better but I was disappointed with the brunch food here. It was subpar to say the least. The sausage was undercooked and pink, everything was so buttery and oily it was hard to eat and had me feeling gross afterwards. The only redeeming parts were the hash and the raspberry vanilla jam, and our server was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately it seems overrated and there are much much better places for brunch at much better prices.
One of a kind. On my short list.
The food was amazing, went with a party of 4 we all enjoyed! Staff was awesome very friendly and the atmosphere was clean and cozy modern Food
Hands down my favourite restaurant in Edmonton. Their short ribs are for die for. A true gem of the Edmonton food scene.
Not a great experience. Waited over an hour for brunch that was overcooked and dry. Didn t get part of our order but the server didn t come to check on us until everyone had eaten. I totally understand it s busy and that a reasonable wait or limited service is expected but our brunch was not a pleasant one.
Terrible experience. We waited over 10min to have a server come by and we ordered food and drinks. It was another 15-20min before drinks came to table, so almost 30min to get drinks. We arrived at 1pm ordered at 1:10ish and didnt get food until 2:15, over an hour to be served food. Staff were nice but extremely inattentive, we got drinks and then didnt see our server again until about 10min after we finally got food. Food items were missed but we were almost done eating so cancelled them, no ketchup on table and no server checking on us so we could request it. No water refills and werent asked if we wanted more drinks. The food was ok at best, marginally better than a low end diner, at least at a diner youd be eating in 10-15min. We had brunch, potatoes were under cooked, the pancake was a weird omelette hybrid which wasnt noted on the menu, and the huevos benny were very bland. Definitely will not be back and would not recommend as the food wasnt nearly good enough to be worth the wait time or terrible service.
Best restaurant in the area. Phenomenal local food, top notch quality ingredients, good service, and large portions. We ve been at The Workshop 4 times now and each time the food blew us away. A small seasonal menu that changes with what s in season is nice. Last visit we had the charcuterie board and roast beef, best charcuterie board I ve ever had and the beef was juicy and tender. 100% would recommend to anyone who is looking for a high quality farm-to-table meal in south Edmonton.
BEAUTIFUL AMBIENCE. I am a little picky about my choices in ordering but jill who was was serving us that night was outstanding She suggested the lamb chops for myself and lamb gnocchi for my husband It was perfect!! She made the night special by service is a choice of her favourite pastry creme brulee We highly recommend our friends and family
So good, sooo Fresh, love the Staff.
Nice place, great food friendly server. Parking: Parking is ample. Food : 5/5 |
Attended the Hot Chefs Cool bEats event. Fantastic evening. Sold out! Best get your tickets early next year.
This place honestly looks amazing and the place is beautiful, the food so fresh and perfectly served. However I consider a dining experience as a whole with service , which was very poor; I was celebrating my birthday on Saturday for brunch with my friends, found this place on Google, the pictures and the food looked amazing, I called and attempted a reservation which the hostess told me is not needed and we can do a walk in; my friend is an amazing baker and makes beautiful homemade bakery level decorated cakes and it s her gesture of love for her loved ones on our birthday; so I called and checked if they could keep the cake for us in the refrigerator while we enjoy our food and while they mentioned there will be a cutting fee 3$ per person if they cut and distribute it for us, they won t charge us for keeping it in the refrigerator; low and behold we go there , the place looks so amazing, we take a lot of pictures while we wait 15 minutes for a table which was quite different from the discussion on the phone; and we hand the cake in to be put in the refrigerator; and they change their statement regarding the cake that if you do not agree to pay the cutting fee regardless of whether or not we cut the cake for you, we will not keep it for you in the refrigerator; I had to agree because after the drive and our wait time, the cake cream was melting. They sat us at a table not so good, and literally just gave us menues and left, came back just gave us waters , no introductions no drink orders. All good don t want to ruin good vibes of my birthday, we have to call after a very long wait for our orders to be taken and even after that, still no any drinks? Our waitress left in a hurry; our food came out we had to ask for ketchup, salt and pepper to be brought to our table while the tables next to us got theirs even before their food came out on a clean plate; even after asking for it she literally threw it on the table and left; we felt pretty disappointed but since we were so hungry we just ate. After our food was done they took It and I told them I was ready for the cake; I had already put candles on the cake before handing out to them; they just threw the cake on the table and left; apparently this place is very famous for birthdays so they sang to two other tables before we got our food so that s what we were expecting; and then I heard a happy birthday song, and I was like wow their singing for me until they get to the name , low and behold it s someone else s name , they pass our table to the person behind us to give them a dessert with a candle on it; at that point my friend was coming out of the washroom and both her and my sister s expression was so noticeable; like that was the frustration and anger pouring over the top; we felt humiliated, offended and ignored; and that was just it for us to call the manager; we told her about how we were treated and she was like who was your waitress, we were like we don t even know her name, she didn t even introduce herself to us, we had to point her out and she was like yeah , Amanda; I don t know why they treated us like that, my friend was wearing a scarf and all the people at other tables were white, so we told her that she got pretty mad at the fact we were accusing them of racism but simply there was no explanation of why they would treat u differently; or maybe they just saw us coming in with a big cake and thought oh we can t sell them dessert or something; manager told us birthday songs are sang upon request, but I mean when I called ahead saying we are having a birthday, coming in with a big cake, and having the candles on top, I mean that is pretty obvious for a birthday song to be sang to us. Usually at all restaurants not just high end ones they ask, is there any special occasions? Nothing. The manager apologised a couple of times but nothing from the two waiters. She handles the situation professionally and took care of our bill which we insisted to pay, but I guess was for the best; I would go back for the food and the atmosphere; I hope they don t disappoint
February 14, 2024 Update: We came for their Valentines Day evening and even cancelled another reservation downtown at an exclusive restaurant to see what this Workshop could offer up. We were very disappointed. We were put at a remote table in the hallway of the building outside of the establishment itself because they were so busy. It was dark and we completely missed out on the inside vibe. The atmosphere score drops form 5 to 3. Our service was good. She was busy and it seemed that sometimes we were an afterthought. Service score drops from 5 to 4. The food was alright. I think the chef was trying out some things maybe outside of their comfort zone. It didnt come across with any zeal though we could see the attempted creativity. Food score drops from 5 to 3. We left without any fanfare at the end of the evening. We were literally seated within proximity to the external doors to the entire office building itself. So...there was really no vibe to leave. Overall score dropped from 5 to 3. 3 x ********************** The Workshop Eatery is a stunning establishment way down south in Edmonton offering farm to table fair. The creations are inventive and delivered with a beautiful presentation. The flavors are rich and vibrant. The service really stood out for us. Cherisse, our server, was so helpful and positive. And a shoutout also to Alyssa who brought so much joy to the space as the hostess. They really made our experience so amazing! The space itself is stunning. Its an open kitchen space and there is natural light everywhere. There is also a patio for warmer days. Cant say enough. Love this place and its also great that they exist in a neighborhood that doesnt have a lot of higher end restaurants. 5 x
I had their fried chicken waffle and it was so delicious. The ambiance and service was top notch too.
Had an excellent experience here. Sucks you only get 4 devilled eggs because I could have had about 20. I would like just a touch more seasoning on the mains but thats my personal preference. Cocktails were as good as youll find anywhere in the city. Worth the price tag.
Delicious food!
Food was good but under-seasoned. Dietary restrictions: Cater to allergies Food : 4/5 |
I got the Ginger Chicken. It wasnt very good. It was drowning in the sauce. The chicken was overcooked.
Still one of our favorite restaurants in Edmonton. Great food, service, and overall experience. Brunch is my favorite! We had the charcuterie board during this visit and it was delicious! Great wine and beer selection. The lemon meringue cheesecake is amazing and is perfect for sharing.
Had a blast celebrating! Jill was awesome. We bought two gift bags for some bdays coming up and the back kitchen made us some extra ketchup bottles! Can t wait to go back for brunch.
Food was great, friendly staff. We were there for brunch today and we couldnt even hear our guests talking because the big table of 12+ were extremely loud...people, please have some respect, you dont need to shout to the person next to you. Food
My wife and I have been to Workshop multiple times now, both for brunch and for dinner. The food is fresh; you can tell by the aroma(s), and the taste. Every time weve gone, the service has been great. Its a hidden gem in the industrial side of Parsons road; would highly recommend. A bit pricey, but for the freshness of the food and the exquisite taste, its worth the wait every couple of months.
We love Workshop, great food, excellent staff, and a lovely location.
Great place that deserves the rating. I still dont understand how Dennys gets a 4.5 star avg. Next time Im in Edmonton Im coming back here. The specials, Borscht and Frittata, were good! Parking: Free parking on the east side Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
I love the food
Come here for brunch. Wife got the smoked salmon Benny and I got the fried chicken and waffles. Both dishes were nicely done! They use chicken thigh here. Batter was light and crunchy. Meat was juicy. Serving size was generous.
Exceptional service, food and drink!! Paul and his team strive for excellence. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy this place and wouldn t hesitate to recommend or return.
would say the food is mediocre. It s nothing special and lacks flavor. I was very unimpressed in how my dishes tasted, as it sounded delicious. I will never go back to this restaurant.
We had a lovely dinner here. The food was very good and the service matched it. We both had the hanger steak special and the deviled eggs. As someone who requires gluten free food it was such a treat to have knowledgeable staff who were able to adjust the menu to meet my needs. We will definitely be going back! Dietary restrictions: The staff were very knowledgeable and were able to adjust the menu to meet the needs of my Gluten free diet.
Delicious food! Great chef! Smart and friendly staff ,very attentive. Great atmosphere for both date night and friends. Seasonally grown food. Have been here 3 times and was pleasantly surprised with food quality all 3 times. Keep up the great service.
Workshop Eatery has stood the test of time in Edmontons southwest! Food, service and quality ingredients are still top notch. The Short Rib grilled sandwich was heavenly; richly buttered bread leaves you wanting more. The chips were a bit underwhelming.
Brussel sprouts are fantastic. The salad ingredients were fresh and crispy! The cassoulet was beans on toast- toast being corn bread. For the waitress who asked me do you even know what a cassoulet is??? Yes. Yes I do. Been to france-loved it. This is not it.
We had an amazing dedicated, kind, friendly server name Jill to host us for our beautiful Valentine s Day dinner! I would highly recommend
All I can say is Wow! My partner and I frequently visit restaurants and partake in fine dining, but we have both never experienced the level of service Ryan had to offer us. We were both very well looked after and the food was exquisitely prepared by chef Jesse and his team. The flavour combinations were unique and delectable. It was simply one of the best dining experiences I have ever had the pleasure of being served! We will definitely return.
We made a reservation for birthday brunch. When we came, the place wasnt very busy, so we ordered food right away. After 35 minutes, we got ketchup and jam. After the next 10 minutes, food arrived. Food is pretty pricey but good, service not so good. The soup was spilled on the plate and the bowl didnt look very pleasant , The waitress needs some basic training : she did not serve each person by going around, instead she made us to serve each other. The same was with cleaning the table : she was waiting for us to hand her our plates ! I have never had this kind of service anywhere . Very disappointing. Not coming back for sure.
I was looking forward to dining at Workshop Eatery. We live in Summerside since 2015 and I drive by this place on daily basis. I thought a brunch for my sons 13th birthday was a great occasion to check out this place. Internet pictures look way nicer than in real life. Was expecting a bigger selection for a brunch menu, I was actually looking forward to ordering a steak for lunch but unfortunately didnt realize the dinner menu was being served only from 5pm, not anytime after breakfast like most of the places do. We had a reservation for 11:30 a.m. I think it is pointless to do a reservation option since the lady up front did not even verify on their little ipads for whom the reservation was - she simply asked for how many, I said we have reservation for 4, and she just walked us to first available table without asking if we would like to sit by the window, booth etc; I dont really understand the point of pre-visit questions while doing reservation - specifically the reason of the visit: birthday, anniversary, other. - every restaurant Ive done the reservation at, upon arrival it was verified, I was asked where we would like to sit and I was double checked on the reason of the visit - on birthday occasions, the waitress at least said happy Birthday, some places offered free desert for a birthday person, some offered free drinks... I did not expect to get anything free for this occasion but saying Happy Birthday to my son would be nice. I must say, water was brought to our table right away, order was taken quickly as well, but the wait... come on, wait 35 minute for a sandwiches order ??? I hate to see the wait time for actual dinner, late supper. It seemed like too many waitresses not enough cooks. Some people that got to restaurant after us, and placed the order after us, got their food before us. It was not even that busy but the wait time was terrible not only for us - Ive noticed the family of 4 with two small kids waiting long time for their food as well.... poor kids, instead of be given the coloring paper from a waitress right away they were given it literally a minute before their food arrived. When choosing this restaurant I did a quick research and Ive noticed that the cook did his learnings in Europe. Me being from Europe, I thought cool, perhaps some European experience in Canada. I was very surprised when after meal was over, when the waitress came to clean up and instead of going around the table to collect the plates, she was reaching over and asking us just to pass it to her - I know it is easy this way for waitresses, but there was not much to clean up and I believe it would be much appropriate if waitress went around to grab the empty plate instead of waiting for plates to be passed to her. The only thing that was good was a food, I mean it tasted good. I was going to give 3 stars but unfortunately my son, the birthday boy ended up going in a washroom 3 times in span of an hour. I am not coming back. .p.s. please work on your waitresses manners.
Glad to have found this local gem. Not the best wine selection, but the dishes were very good, with quite a few ingredients sourced from the veggie garden outside the patio.
We went for lunch. Amazing food. I had crispy chicken waffle after reading other reviews and its totally worth it. Chicken was do crispy yet very jucy inside. The portion size is very good. Highly recommended.
I was very pleasantly surprised by how they position the chairs at an angle. I felt comfortable instantly. If there is such a thing as perfection, Id say that theyve just about nailed it or have come very close to accomplishing it.
Ryan the Wine Guy was our server, and with it being our first time there, he took the time to talk with us about how they prepare and source their menus items, fresh and done in house when possible. Very knowledgeable, great menu and amazing food. Highly recommend!
A LOT better than going to your run of the mill breakfast joint. Better than earls or any of that big box restaurants. Creative, tasty, from scratch. I am a big supporter of places that actually Make Food instead of heating up leftovers. Thumbs up for me. Didnt like the coffee but that could just be me.
Excited to try this place for my brother in law s birthday. Mediocre at best! Food was just ok for all six of us, pricey for amount and quality. Service, although not rude/unkind, didn t really seem to care about the service provided. Double ceasars were definitely not doubles, and lacked taste, and garnish was not as described. May have the place years ago, when was new to open, but, sure isn t that anymore! Wished we had picked elsewhere and would not return.
Great food and nice staff.
The food here was delicious. This is a small, open concept restaurant in SW Edmonton. We enjoyed supper with family before an outing. We started with chips and the 5 onion dip (YUM) and we all tried different main dishes (beef short rib, pickerel, rock fish - the days special, chicken) as well as drinks (beers, caesers, espresso martini). Everything was top-notch. Prices are high, but we felt our money was well spent.
The stars say it all. A great place to enjoy food and companionship. Hard to choose from so many appealing options, but recommendations of our server were spot on.
I was supposed to meet a group of people for a friend s birthday. Two days before, I contacted the restaurant through the contact form on their website to ask for modifications for my food sensitivities. I didn t hear back from them, so I called the next day and left a voicemail. Unfortunately, no one emailed or called me back. I didn t feel confident that they could accommodate my needs, so I didn t end up going. I was disappointed because the menu looks amazing and I would have liked to celebrate my friend s birthday with her.
Overall feedback from multiple people in our group...it was disappointing and they wouldnt come back based off the food they had and the look/cost of the private room. The private room was booked for a corporate dinner and was very expensive- $300 just for this room. I was told the room would be decorated and will look soo nice for this fancy dinner. Multiple guests said it had 0 décor, no table center piece, no placemats, nothing to make it look nice - there were no decorations. It was just a long wooden table with a long bench on each side to sit on (no chairs) and a little bar table set up at the side. I was also told they would have a bar where guests could mingle before hand and order cocktails, hi-balls, wine etc. and the feedback I received was, there were no cocktails or hi-balls and the restaurant picked the bottles of wine (we didnt get to choose the wine and I wasnt aware of that) and majority of the guests didnt like the choices they offered. The food was good but nothing amazing and small portions (this was a set menu the chef created which runs at $65 per person). I hear the main restaurant menu is better and thats probably what the better reviews are based on. For a high end pricey place, the ambiance and interior should match that vibe and it failed completely. The main restaurant and private room look like a nicer high end food court or bar at stampede. The private room is definitely a waste of your money and if you want something upscale and fancy for an event, choose somewhere else.
Pretty good brunch!
Vibe amazing! The liquor was great. Don t have Malbec on the menu but you can ask for it. Perfection! Food portions are good if you like your meal. The low rating is for the menu. I got the guilt free omelet but it doesn t say you get toast and potatoes with peppers and onions. I am sensitive to onions (also don t like them), and my whole meal tasted like onions. I should have asked about it, but I didn t feel I needed to say I can t have garlic and onions because it was not listed as part of the meal. Asked for multi grain toast, got rye. 2 thumbs down. Hubby gave his meal 1 thumb up one down for the Lox Benny - also with the veggie loaded Potato s. I believe that Menu option said hash, which sometimes does mean prepared that way. Our bad for not asking. The menu should clarify what s involved. Servers were pleasant with good energy. Had to ask for coffee top up, only got the one. I like everything is local, but I won t be back for the food. Maybe desert and drinks when the patio opens. Not worth it today. Super disappointed.
My First Visit; The Atmosphere was Friendly & Inviting. Great Service...
Wonderful atmosphere. A local hidden gem. The food is fresh and delicious. Very filling. The styling is trendy and the lighting is sunny. The service was friendly and timed the delivery of courses perfectly. The drinks were delicious and rewarding. Definitely will come again. Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that I can confidently say is one of the best dining experiences Ive ever had. From start to finish, every aspect of the meal was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with just the right level of energy to create a lively and enjoyable dining experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, without being overbearing or intrusive. But the star of the show, of course, was the food. Every dish that we ordered was expertly crafted and beautifully presented, with a level of attention to detail that is truly rare. The flavors were complex and well-balanced, with each ingredient working together in perfect harmony
I like this place a lot! The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Although the wait is quite a bit, it s totally worth it !! I would recommend getting the Monstrocristo it s a grill cheeseish meal with ham and potatoes I would also suggest dipping the the grill cheese in ketchup! It makes it less plain :) and you should also make reservations because it s pretty busy and there s probably no more spots I hoped it helped whoever is reading this so make it a tiny bit easier :D
We are not from Edmonton, but have been to Workshop many times over the years. We make it a point to stop there whenever we are in town visiting family and friends and have referred many people there over the years. The food, drinks and service are always top notch! Jill has been our server many times and she is simply amazing! You can tell she is an experienced server; her friendly & witty personality combined with her knowledge & efficiency with just the right amount of attentiveness stands outs and is always appreciated! Workshop is lucky to have her! We are looking foward to our next visit to Edmonton and Workshop!
Had a special 5-course dinner here and it was unbelievable. Highly recommend.
Amazing place, I was part of a culinary event and everyone was just great. I will definitely come back
We had a private function. 4 floors up too accommodate our group was a little much. The little bartender servicing our drinks was wonderful, entertaining and professional. The servers tried their best considering they had too walk up and down many flights which wasnt a great demographic plan as we had to eat independently of one another. I believe the one lady a bit older than the girls may have been the manager. Id re-evaluate her position if shes in charge of upcoming hospitality futures. Rude, demanding and maybe a half of a smile all service.
Tasty food and drink, the mojito was excellent
Best service experience I have ever had the server was extremely talented and made it a fun and light experience. The food was far beyond what I thought it would be.i definitely will go back. I had the bison meat loaf and creme brule it was fantastic. Definitely perfect for date night
Second time Ive been for brunch and Im never disappointed! Had the Lox Benny this time around -delicious. $8 mimosas on Sundays too!
Food was super tasty. Our server was delightful. The wine selection is also very good. It was a nice suprise to have a great spot in the south.
We had such a wonderful time at family brunch this weekend. The guilt free breakfast was phenomenal. The other meals were finished to the last crumb. Home made jam and ketchup.... fresh juice and the water stayed topped up as well as the coffee. Thank you to our server Kayla for the friendly service.
Had the Moroccan lamb stew and it is out of this world great!! Wife had the chicken and it was excellent!! Highly recommended!!
One of the best brunch meals Ive ever had. Our server Nathalie was a pleasure and very attentive and the food was absolutely fantastic. So glad we picked Workshop for our Mothers Day meal for my mom and wife and family. Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff, attentive and big smiles.
jalapeno cornbread huevos :)
Really good food here. Some interesting items. Lunch was fast and fresh. Really nice and open in here. Good friendly and attentive service. No trouble finding parking.
The food was great. The server was excellent. Great atmosphere.
Loved the all things about this place. The space is casual and appealing love the open kitchen. The cocktail variety is good and the one i had was balanced and delicious. It was tough to decide what to have as so many things look delicious. There is a good offering of seafood options, and a daily seafood special. Also a daily beef special. I had the seafood special, cod cheeks. I was surprised to see this on the menu, being from the Atlantic provinces i would have to say it is the first time I have seen it on a menu. They were cooked perfectly! It was served with smoked tomato risotto and shredded brussel sprouts. I was a little apprehensive to order this dish because of the smoked tomato risotto as I am not always a fan of smoke flavour. I found this to be well balanced and delicious, and I would have it again. The shredded brussels were a delicious way to served them. All around an amazing meal. And great service!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful dining experience at The Workshop Eatery today. We brought our dog, as we found out their patio is dog-friendly. The service was excellent from the get go. As we approached the patio, a server asked whether we were coming in for food and she opened the gate for us. She ended up being our server and was so warm towards us and our dog. Because we were the first ones there, we also had our choice of seating and opted to sit in a quiet corner with shade. The drinks we ordered were the Peachy Business and Rosemary Delight. My boyfriend had the Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bacey while I went with the Lox Benny. Our drinks and dishes were prepared in a timely manner, looked appetizing and were delicious! Thank you for the amazing service and food! Bonus points for being so attentive to our dog ;)
The money paid for the food was not worth it. I was expecting some more quality and quantity for the food but it was missing both. Asked for some drinks but they couldn t provide saying they don t have a blender or it s not available. So overall Just the atmosphere looks good that s it. Food
Went here for lunch and had the salmon with risotto, it was excellent. Will definitely be back for dinner soon!
The staff that welcomes us, sat us, and served us were amazing and friendly. The appetizer had nice flavour. Spouse had an old fashion beverage and he was very impressed. My red wine was tasty. We both had the specials which were $40 each. He had the sole fish, with black beans and sautéed vegetables. He wished the fish had more spice. The black beans on his plate was like a whole can. Lol. A little to much. He only ate a 1/3 of it and the sautéed vegetables were cut up so small that he could only see corn. I had the smoked brisket, BBQ potatoes and beets. Beef was very tender, but was more like a fatty roast beef. Both my spouse and I could not taste any smoke on the meat. Beets were good. Potatoes were dried out and hard to chew. Dessert was good. For the price ($178. before tip) we were so hoping we would have been wowed from our meals.
First time Ive ever been here. Went with a friend & it was great! We had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts & Chips & Dip. DELICIOUS!! Server was excellent (very friendly & knowledgeable! Food
Food and service was very good, thank you
One of the best places I have been to in a minute. Ambiance was fantastic and the food (Lamb Gnoochi) was delicious. 100% would recommend for a date night out.
Awesome place
Excellent patio!
Love this place! Great food and atmosphere!
Love the great ambience and the service. I tried their Devilled eggs and Salmon Ravioli.
Had an incredible overall experience last night at workshop eatery. Our server Natalie was very good and a lot fun. The food, wine, and cocktails were all excellent. As always, the arancini is highly recommended!
Had to wait for the food almost an hour without any explanation. Asked the host why the food was too late and she explained that the kitchen staff dropped one dish so they had to redo the dish (I heard at least three broken dishes or glasses while I was there), while 10 other dishes had to wait under a heating lamp. Asked my service again why the food wasnt out yet. Without explanation, she said it would come out soon. Told her whether the rest dishes were sitting under the heating lamp. She said no but my son said he saw 10 dishes were waiting there. I had chicken dish (my favourite from this place) but it was very dry. Probably from sitting under the heating lamp too long? The manager ended up taking 10% off the bill. However, it was a family gathering with my uncle and aunt visiting from Korea so, unfortunately, it was a very very disappointing and unpleasant dinner.
Great tasting food only complaint is size of the servings
Consistently amazing. Great Short Rib, great appetizers, try the chips & dip!
Loved everything here. Food was wonderful. I recommend the duck liver pate and mussels. Service was great.
We had dinner on Tuesday and my husband thought it was the best meal he has been served in Edmonton. It looked so good that we started without taking any photos, which is unfortunate since both meals looked as great as they tasted! I had the Icelandic Char and he had the Smoked Short Rib. It had a lively atmosphere, so anyone with a hearing impairment might have trouble understanding conversations.
Do not recommend. We made a reso here for date night. As we weren t terribly hungry, we ordered the charcuterie board. It had an overwhelming amount of pickled vegetables with very small amount of actual meat and cheese. Three quarters of the board was picked vegetables. I ended up having an upset stomach. The manager acknowledged that the food upset my stomach but didn t seem to really care and did not offer to give a refund. Not a great first impression.
GO HERE! What an amazing local find in south Edmonton. Fresh, local food that tastes AMAZING and did not disappoint in any way. Jill, our server, was over the top and made the experience even better with her friendliness and excellent service. We will be back for more very soon. (Favourites were Lamb and Pork chops and the cheesecake was the best!)
You have to go here!! Best find in Edmonton. Food
The food was very good. Pretty cozy experience. Food
This place is amazing! We were just in town for the night and wanted some real good food before leaving, so glad I found this place on Google! I will be back again and again while travelling through! Vegetarian options: I had THE best veggie melt here. Its awesome!
They have halal chicken. Food was great and so was the service.
Wonderful evening and great food and service!
I made reservations for a birthday brunch, and the experience was amazing! The service was great!! I didnt get their names, but the hostess and the server that was with my group were great!! Caring and wanting to make sure we enjoyed our time there. I ordered the chicken and waffles... so good! I was completely surprised by the birthday plate because no one from the group asked them to do that. A lovely surprise!
Workshop is our local eatery and as such we have dined there many times and have never been disappointed but our visit last night took our experience to a whole new level. From our arrival when we were greeted by our lovely hostess, whose name we failed to get unfortunately, until we walked out the door over 3 hours later, our experience was amazing. Our waiter Ryan made the evening. He read us well and was attentive and personable. As usual our food was great. It never disappoints and the addition of fresh ingredients from their garden kicked it up a notch. All said a very enjoyable experience.
Delicious food, great service, bit pricey but worth every bite.
Way way too pricey for us.
A little noisy but great food and many gluten free options.
We tried a few different options here for both food and drinks. I was excited to try this place given the reviews in place but the food was a bit underwhelming and the drinks a bit too strong. I did like the London fog in my order tho. I have attached some pictures of what we had that day including the salmon ravioli, duck liver paté, Brussel sprouts, short ribs. The place wasnt busy when we arrived, but we were advised to make a reservation when called upon, so might be something to consider for your visit here.
My sister Lee and I had Lunch today at the work shop. We were greeted and served by marina. Friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu sauces and specials. Prompt service and attentive service through out. An absolute pleasure to have her assist us. We had the red wine beef short ribs on a bun mine with salad and hers with chips. Tasty and mildly spicy. I am a fan of all the different restaurants Paul manages and have enjoyed beautiful meals at the Hayloft and exceptional Burgers at the Woodshed. Paul and the Robert Spencer Hospitality Services are an outstanding community based organization that support charitable causes and services in Edmonton.
Great brunch spot on the south end.
Update: August 2023 Enjoyed another amazing fine dining experience. Went for the staple crispy brussel sprouts and carpacio. This time for dinner, it was the lamb chops and the effing catch (artic char), but it lamb) was prepared differently (and amazing ) then the last year. Balanced so well with a chutney(candied) topping with risotto like base. It was like the next best comfort food lamb preparation. And that was just what was with the lamb chops. The lamb chops were made so well. Soft and easy to cut from the bone. The London fog creme brulee was just that, creamy, London fog in dessert form. Light. The apple pear crostada with ice cream is also a great ending to a perfect dining experience. Always great service, if not for great attitudes and awesome hosting. Long live the Workshop Eatery How did we get such a great dining experience in Summerside Edmonton. Workshop has excellent service, amazing dishes, great wine selections, and everything is well prepared. The Nonay Cut Beef was excellent with the German mashed potatoes, and the chicken was seasoned like you were eating something so fresh and light. Parking: Lots of parking
Entered without a reservation but luckily got a table! Food was exquisitely good and beautifully presented. We ordered salmon with beet risotto, boar schnitzel, and mashroom ravioli. Each of us was very happy with our choices. Next time well make a reservation because it is so worth it not to miss a chance to eat there!!!
The service was great, the food was super fresh, and ingredients that complemented each other to make the perfect dish. The room is very airy with lots of natural light Parking: Lots of ample free parking
Some of the best food we had in Edmonton. Great service. Plenty of gluten free options Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerant options
Best burger in Edmonton
Tina was the chef tonight and the food was awesome
Our family was spoiled with an amazing dinner service tonight by Chef Tina, server Ryan & team over at The Workshop Eatery. We sank our teeth into the apps so quickly, forgot to take pictures. The food was fantastic, elegant and delicious! All was very good!
A favourite local restaurant with exquisite flavour with every bite. You can taste the fresh produce used in all the made to order specialties. Thanks to chief Tina & the servers who were clearly genuinely happy to be there.
I had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and fresh! The service was awesome. Our waiter was Natalie and she was soo nice. It was my birthday brunch and my first time here but I am definitely going to be a regular. Parking: So many free parking spots Kid-friendliness: Natalie was amazing with my daughter.
Nathalie provided outstanding service
Outstanding food quality and great service. Their menu is intentionally kept small as they focus on delivering a few consistently high quality entrees. Pictured is the short rib.
We went to brunch with friends. Our friends both ordered the Chorizo hash and both of their plates did not contain very much chorizo sausage. The one friend only found one small portion of chorizo in her entire bowl/plate. She said it lacked flavored. Her husband said it wasnt the most flavorful as well. My husband and I both ordered the Huevos Benedicto - and ours was very delicious. However we decided to order dessert and ordered the lemon meringue cheesecake and were very disappointed. For $12 we expected something a little better or larger. In the picture I put my chapstick for size comparison. It was basically a bar style dessert with meringue on it. I guess Im used to cheesecake cafe when you pay $10.50 for an amazing cheesecake and receive a portion that you can eat over a couple of days! Our service was ok, it was busy - but not busy enough to be forgotten as much as we were. We werent asked to refresh our drinks. The guys were wanting another Caesar, but by the time our server came back... we were ready for our bill. It was quite a wait. The environment wasnt anything special, reminded me more of a cafeteria. We spent over $100 for two people... it just wasnt worth it to go back.
Food so good, it be rude not to try it! A+++ for the staff and service Food : 5/5
One star review for unattentive service. Waited 5 minutes at the doors before mia host came out. A simple acknowledgement from other staff walking by would have been nice. Spoke with the manager on duty but she seemed not to care or was indifferent with our concerns.
So this place has been on my list for a very long time and I finally had the opportunity to try it out for my return from a deployment. I wanna start off by saying this restaurant is so amazing, the atmosphere and the way it looks is so beautiful, I love the kitchen and how cozy it really looks inside, the service was up to par our server was actually really really nice and even explained what was in the dish and recommended some good dishes to try, we started with the mussels and the capaccio, the mussels were very very good and a good quantity, the carpaccio wasnt a hit for us it just didnt taste the same and the mushrooms had to strong of a fermented taste which didnt hit but being Italians we have high expectation for it, for Mains we had the slow cooked beef, the lentil stew and the taquitos, the slow cooked I had a very high expectation because the server said it was one of the top things and I cant lie I was fairly disappointed with it (maybe is having a high expectation) the meat wasnt very soft and It felt more tough than what Ive had in a different restaurant and the sauce that it comes in the bottom I wish it had more of it specially on top of the beef to give it a extra sweetness flavor to it, the stew was good but we felt like it was missing the coconut flavor on it and the lentils were cold but the inside was very hot so it was confusing, the taquitos were very good though my dad seemed to really enjoy it, we finished up with the apple crisp with ice cream and sadly it wasnt a hit, and I love dessert specially because we dont get sweets in the army, the inside of the pastry wasnt cooked and it felt like it was more dough than a apple crisp, the server was really nice and removed it off our bill which was very nice of her, over all I think we had very high expectations and Maybe it went this way, I do hope to give it a second try to maybe see things differently and definitely change this review.
Food was great, and although not inexpensive I thought was good value given the quality. Service and atmosphere were excellent. Our only negative was the noise level. To be fair, there was a table of 8 beside us but they were over-the-top noisy which detracted significantly from our meal. That s not entirely the restaurant s fault, but I thought they might have discreetly found a way to ask the table to lower the noise level. Overall, we loved it and would definitely go back.
I have come here 2 times. I did not like the food either time. I had the Ruben and the chicken burger. I wouldnt recommend the workshop. Prices are high for the food quality, and the dishes lacked flavor.
A fantastic culinary experience! Service, food and drinks are all must haves, Check this hidden gem out!!
My husband and I met another couple for brunch Thanksgiving Sunday, Oct.8th, 2023. This used to be our go to restaurant for brunch when we lived in the area. We loved it! We had moved to BC and returned home to Edmonton not long ago. This was our first time at Workshop since we had moved back to Edmonton. I was very excited about The Char Siu Bowl because born and raised in Singapore, I m very familiar with Char Siu which is Bbq Pork and it is one of my favs. The description of the dish on the menu was precise as it read Bbq pork. I encouraged the other couple to try it and raved about how delicious Char Siu is. Sadly when we received our dish, the pork used was pork belly which is an extremely fatty cut of meat. I could not get through eating the pork as every bite was a chunk of fat which is not supportive of my health issues. I just wish it was clearly stated on the menu that it was bbq pork belly being used in which case I would not have ordered it nor would I have recommended it to our friends. It was a bit disappointing but the service made up for it. Our waitress was lovely and understanding as she noticed I had not eaten much of the pork and I explained why. She was so sweet and took 20% off 3 of the Char Siu Bowls ordered. We ve always enjoyed The Workshop in the past and hope to give it another try without having this experience cloud our pleasant past experiences at this establishment. Kudos to our waitress for making things right for us. :)
The food was amazing, the service was great as well. Fine dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised. Definitely would recommend it.
Pricey, but worth it. Delicious original dishes.
Good potential. Took my father here for his birthday my company had worked on the building during the construction phase and it was a good fill of dead space. However, the food was a 5/10 and the service was a 3/10. This review is due to the manners of the servers and apparent management This is Edmonton however please do better: - don t clear plates until people are done eating - don t bark back at patrons when they ask for the specials by saying ya I ll get to that later - more to list Go to Cedar Creek in Kelowna and take a note out of their page If you can do that you can charge much more if the market will support. Prices are way too low here. Fix the servers, food and then Jack the prices.
Place was expensive for the tiny meal we got. Had to wait 20 min after we finished to get the bill.
Very nice Great original dishes Great service Recommended dishes Soup
Food was excellent, as was the service. Portions were really good
Their google reviews looked great so we thought to give this place a try. The ambience was nice but our waitress started off not being friendly, no smiling and seemed grumpy. My friend and I disregard it at first but we noticed she never checked up on us after the food came nor came to fill our empty water glass. We wondered if she was just having a bad day. Aside from that, the food was good but we would not come back as the service was disappointing.
This restaurant has absolutely delicious and thoughtful dishes. The drinks were amazing, and the staff , chefs, management, and our waiter were so friendly and kind. Their ethically sourced food and products make this place well worth supporting. We had such a lovely night out. Thank you to everyone there :)
Workshop is solidly delicious and the service is excellent every time we visit. Tonight was no exception...we went with a large group of friends for my husbands birthday. They treated us like royalty and as usual the food was spectacular.
We attended the November Workshop Market in the building and decided to have lunch here after. Beautiful establishment, great food and great staff. Our server, Kayla was amazing! She helped us with our order and the food was so yummy. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Mahhh ..would not recommend. There are some great places in the area to try. Went as a group (with a reservation) and left disappointed. I m not going to trash the place, i just have nothing great to say. Food
Went in for lunch last week and had one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! (Their take on a Reuban) The service was exemplary, atmosphere was enjoyable and incredibly clean. Will definitely be back to try more
It was my second time to eat there for brunch. My favorite main dish is Chicken so yummy. Fish and chips are good. The Arancini are not my favorite, it is not hot enough inside, only 3 small balls for $15, over prices. I rather order something else. the beef burger is juicy with the creamy chicken soup. the restaurant has a huge window, I like to eat inside and can see sunshine. this time, our waitress wasn t very good, not much talk with us. When we talked to her, her voice was so little and hard to hear. And we had to repeat a few times to tell her what we ordered.
Yum! So worth the drive if you are not from the south side. The food tastes fresh, light and delicious. Food
Was there for a Sunday Brunch. Ordered fried Chicken Waffle and Huevos Benedicto. Chicken and Waffle tasted amazing. For sure must try. Disappointed with Huevos Benedicto. It was recommended as their best seller but sadly did not taste good. Service was a little slow. Surprisingly it was jot that busy either. I d say You can try this place.
The food was good, but service was poor. Our server never asked us once how the food was. She cleared our plates and commented that our plates were empty. When we asked if we could make adjustments to a dish she said no problem then when we made our adjustments she then told us to order something else. Didn t appreciate her condescending tone. For $85 definitely not worth it for the service.
We came from the west end for brunch and we werent disappointed. We had the chicken and waffles and it was truly delicious. Great atmosphere and great service too. Our server, Jill, was prompt, professional, and had a great personality. Well be back for sure.
Great food and wonderful service. Keep it up.
The food here is always amazing! The service is fabulous too
HAD MY WIFES BIRTHDAY HERE IT WAS GREAT !! SERVICE AND FOOD WAS EXCELLANT WOULD RECOMEND TO ALL!! FOOD VARIETY FITS MOST GROUPS . Food
We thought we would try the Workshop, after having enjoyed a few meals at their WoodShed operation. Overall a very average meal. We both had the chicken burger. My wife thought it was average, nothing out of the ordinary. My chicken was very thin and tough. Service was good and prompt. Value for dollar would be good as well if the food quality was better.
I came here for a work Christmas party. I ordered the devilled eggs and pickerel. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and I like their concept of providing seasonal menu s. I would say the food is mediocre. It s nothing special and lacks flavour. I was very unimpressed in how my dishes tasted, as it sounded delicious. I took a few bites of my pickerel dish and ended up taking it to go (to be polite). I never ended up eating the leftovers as it wasn t good. The server was friendly but the service was a little slow. Perhaps they were understaffed that day. Use your discretion when considering this place to eat. You may love it or you may not.
Poor service had to wait for everything and for the price it s not worth it quantity very poor
