Had an amazing dinner at Atlas Steak + Fish (West Edmonton mall) last Sunday for our Christmas party. Jon s service was impeccable and exceptional. He made sure everyone was satisfied with the food and service. He also recommended a drink for me which I really loved and enjoyed. Will definitely go back with my husband and book a reservation with Jon.

First time there yesterday wife took me out for bday supper. Very expensive and small portions. Had steak beef tenderloin 9oz order med rare that part wasnt bad but was chard so bad that you could hardly cut through with a steak knive. Waitress dropped off food and wasnt seen until 15mins after plates were empty. Took another 20mins from table cleared to get her to bring the bill. As I said was there for a bday and not even offered a dessert menu or complimentary dessert. Definitely not going back there.

**Terrible Experience at Atlis Steak and Fish Never Again** We recently visited Atlis Steak and Fish at West Edmonton Mall to celebrate a very special occasion: our friend s 49th birthday. This was supposed to be a joyful evening, especially after such a difficult year for her, having lost several family members. It took a lot of encouragement to get her to leave home and celebrate, and we were prepared to make it a memorable night. Unfortunately, it became memorable for all the wrong reasons. Our group was spending generously, ordering multiple rounds of appetizers and drinks. Each of us had one cocktail and one shot, and we were pacing ourselves responsibly. However, after finishing 5-6 rounds of appetizers, my husband politely asked for another cocktail before the main courses arrived. To our shock, he was denied service. The manager approached our table and, without justification, claimed there were signs of intoxication. She rudely suggested that they could pack up our meals so we could leave. Her attitude was appalling, and it became clear to us that this had nothing to do with intoxication. I noticed other tables with 2-3 times the amount of alcohol on them, yet they continued being served without issue. Our waitress knew we were there to celebrate a birthday, but even that didn t seem to matter. The manager s behavior ruined what should have been a beautiful evening. Our table bill, excluding drinks, was easily over $1,000, but it wasn t the money that hurt it was the blatant disrespect. If you re looking for a place to celebrate or simply enjoy a good meal, skip Atlis Steak and Fish. Take your business to a restaurant where they treat all their guests with respect and dignity. This was the first time we ve ever been treated like this, and it will certainly be the last time we step foot in Atlis.

Had a great date night at Atlas steakhouse, service was amazing and special thanks to the restaurant manager Jatin for making our night memorable. Food and drinks were great, as expected!

Service is extremely slow. When we got there, we were seated at the bar waiting for a table. The bar tenders did not even Acknowledge us or offer a drink. We sat ignored for 10 to 15 minutes while the bar tenders made drinks. Then we were sested at our table where we waited 30 to 40 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Did not serve any starter bread. Then we waited another 30 minutes to bring our drinks, and we had to stop the waitress to take our order. The first part of the order came in 30 min later the seafood tower it was ok but the person who served it didnt do any of the presentation elements that should have come with the tower or explain what was what. We again had to stop the waitress to ask what was what. 30 min later, we received our main and ordered a second drink. The main was the tomahawk steak it was cooked well but very underseasoned and full of gristle. The second drink never arrived at all , the entire time we ate the meal. Waitress came and asked if i got my drink yet after we had finished eating. I understand they were busy with what looked like a few large groups, but they were dreadfully understaffed for those large groups and the other patrons, especially on a Friday night. The lack of trained staff lead to so many service fouls that should never happen for the price they are charging. And no appologies from any staff for wait times or service fouls, which leads me to believe this might be the usual course of business here. I would not say this place is worth the money that it is charging.

2.5 hours to get dinner at our xmas party. Almost walked out. What a terrible place.

We went at 745 and were seated promptly. Our waitress Alexis was very pleasant , attentive and very informative. Our meals were very delicious. Thx for everything very much will recommend to others.

I came here for a work Christmas party and this was my first time experiencing this place. The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic, and the servers and staff were very nice. My only gripe was even though we were a fairly large party, it felt quite disorganized. Almost every time the food was brought out, none of the servers seemed to know where they were taking the food, and we had to frequently direct them to who ordered what. Even when it came to ordering a drink with my meal, the server was taking our drink orders before appetizers, and I asked for a pint of beer. After reminding 2 different servers, I finally got my beer, but it was well after we had all finished our entrees. The beer was also warm, and it was definitely not worth the long wait only to have it with dessert. This place definitely deserves a 5 star review under normal dining circumstances, however I feel they need to work on their organization a bit more when theyre dealing with larger parties. Dietary restrictions: They were very attentive and accomodating with allergy restrictions.

Best steak i ve ever had

My husband and I would go here for dates, but recently learned we could now bring our kids. We had the most amazing experience last night; our server, Alexis, was absolutely incredible and took so much time with our kids. Our other server, Stephen, was also phenomenal and explained all of the side table prep in so much detail. The food was delicious, as usual, only to be outdone by the excellent service. Ok, I could really nit pick but this is probably the best steakhouse in Edmonton. Food, drink, atmosphere were great!

What an amazing restaurant! Everything is next level at Atlas; service, food, and atmosphere! We had steak and fish for main and Alaska cake is Outstanding! By far, Atlas was the best culinary experience in Edmonton! And a special thank you to our server, who was excellent! I forgot his name, but he is originally from Romania. Thank you, and we cant wait to be back!

My wife and I had our 40th anniversary and went to eat at Atlas steak and fish in WEM. We must say we had a fabulous dinner. Our server named Nathan was what made our evening so pleasant. Very friendly, always had a smile. Thank you Nathan for an exceptional dinner.

Came to mainly try the giant gunpowder tomahawk steak it was so underwhelming you pay 150 for the bone and only 16 oz of steak .. not worth it at all we were very disappointed. The chimichurro sauce was a brick of cold butter?? Not sure why u wanna slather on cold butter to your not even hot steak either the lobster tail add on for $30 was only 2 small mini bites of cold unseasoned unbuttered lobster? The lobster bisque soup we sent back was awful not sure why they would serve that to anyone . Besides the food being over priced and not good the service was fine and the place was nice , we will definitely not be back I use to love this place years ago not sure what happened .

My husband planned a romantic birthday for me and I was lucky enough to be taken to Atlas Steak + Fish. We were more than impressed with the look and ambiance of the restaurant walking in. Once seated, our server Aphia was quick to come over and take our drink order and let us know a little bit about the menu. Her service was top-notch and helped make our experience even better! To start we ordered the prawn cocktail with gin cocktail sauce, these might be the best prawns and cocktail sauce weve ever had - they were incredible! Also they brought out freshly made crisps with a delicious aïoli dipping sauce for us to try. Absolutely delicious too. Then for our entrée, we didnt want to eat too much so we ordered to share - Josper grilled salmon steak and for our side dishes we had brussel sprouts with pistachio + mortadella crisp and roasted wild mushroom with truffle fondue. We cannot wait to try the tomahawk steak and crab cakes next time. When I say this was the best meal weve ever had in a restaurant I truly mean it! We highly recommend & will definitely be back!

Food was great. Wasnt offered dessert. Menu was very limited feeling. But was very tasty. 1/2 Rack New Zealand pie country lamb cooked perfectly. Tomahawk pork chop amazing cooked perfectly to a recommended medium. The prawn cocktail was a little small 3 shrimps but tasted good. Our server was the bartender so felt he was a bit more focused on that then serving tables.

We had an amazing time at Atlas steak & fish at west Edmonton mall. Our server Alexis M made the evening the best. It was out 10th wedding Anniversary and she went above and beyond to make sure our evening was everything we wanted and could ask for. We have never been here before so she helped us with our choices and made sure we were well taken care of.

The only thing that was good was the Prime Rib. You actually get a meal. I had the seabass which Ive never had before and thought it would be thick and filling like hallibut since it was the most expensive fish on the menu. Nope, it was the smallest fish Id ever had, thought it was an Alberta Perch. My sister had risotto, not very flavorful, and just covered the bottom of the bowl. $15 for a side of mashed potatoes, that is a side for ONE PERSON! I love how they say these sides are to share, THEY ARE NOT! Warm potato salad is literally 3 baby baked potatoes. This places prices are sickening for the portions, we will never go back. Atmosphere and service is amazing but that is all. Cheesecake it all I eat for dessert, and it was terrible, pure sugar.

We went to Atlas at WEM for my sister and my birthday dinner this year. The atmosphere was beautiful and all of the staff were very attentive, friendly and fantastic. Where they lacked was the food! The price for the portions were very inconsistent. Most items over priced. Each entree should come with more than a few small potatoes (btw this is not a warm potato salad by any means). The only entree of the six ordered that was a decent portion was the Prime Rib**. If they had that consistency throughout the rest of the menu it would have been fantastic. Apparently the beef carpaccio was also a winner for taste/price (I dont eat this). My sister and I had shared the sea bass and risotto. The sea bass, very small and dry. The risotto, lacking flavor. Overall very disappointed in the cost for what we were served. they did bring us each a small desert for our birthday, which was appreciated. The cheesecake was not very good, however the chocolate cake/sea salt popcorn (not sure what it was called) was delicious! Again, although complimentary, very small portions especially since they were being shared among the table. Hats off to the server, (I cannot recall his name) thank you. We will not be returning.

Descent steak house for an Edmonton casino. The room is very nice and the food is ok. Appetizers and entrees are fine, but nothing that s going to blow you out of the water. Some fun things like Caesar made table side. Had the prime rib Saturday special which was fine for the $44. Again, nothing special.The baked Alaska for dessert was good, however we were told the other one was chocolate peanut butter which it had no peanut butter taste. So that was disappointing. Me and my family have been to so many restaurants all over the world and never once have we ever had someone like Alexis, she was so honest and you could truly feel that she wanted to give you guys the best of the best experience you could have. The happy hour is an amazing value as it s hard to find quality and value together. Our server Nathan Y was on top of everything and a very personable and knowledgeable server. The oysters were perfect as well as the lobster and shrimp rolls. We ll be back to roll from the happy hour into the seafood tower :)

Our server Jason was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu (and even menus at other restaurants). The food was delicious and one of the best old fashioneds I ve had.

Service is non-existent, management is lost and the food is mediocre at best. Whether youre the only table there or the restaurant is full, be prepared to wait for an hour for a steak. Spend your money elsewhere, Atlas doesnt live up to the hype.

Fantastic meal at Atlas! Our server was knowledgable and went above and beyond, especially for a specific allergy that I have. We ordered the steak tartare, bruschetta, lobster puffs, then we each had the duck breast (one with the brie mashed potatoes, the other with asparagus). Everything was incredible. Cant wait to come back.

Went for dinner had a great, but kind of confusing time. LoL Happy hour items - very small, but super delicious. Table beside us ordered 10 sliders, I think they had the right idea. The oysters were wonderful, I highly recommend those. Main course was SUPER Expensive for what came out, imo. Surf+Turf menu was tasty but the protein was really really small portioned. I got $14 Asparagus and it was FABULOUS, cooked perfectly with Hollandaise sauce. Brussel Sprouts, also absolutely amazing. The free chips... Were a bit ... Undercooked? We were told they were supposed to be crunchy, they were ... Crunchy on the outside and tough in the center. I got a 10oz steak and Lobster & Shrimp Thermidor. It was quite delicious. My companion, however, got the Tenderloin and Lobster Oscar I honestly mistakened the lobster for a dollop of sauce. For $79, super confused. They let us choose our own steak knife, which is always fun. Our server, Alexis, was AMAZING! Quick, informative and friendly. She did try her best, I think, to warn us that the portions were small, but I honestly was still surprised. Especially for the price. Meal was $250+ and left a bit hungry still. Would absolutely go back for happy hour, not so much a full dinner.

We went for our anniversary and had a great time. It is truly a dining experience- you select what type of knife you want for your steak, there is live piano music, and the service is excellent. Our server was Alexis. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The smoked potato chowder soup is incredible- I would highly recommend. The sides are large enough to share. My steak was too charred for my preference but I think that is just the style. Also, we didn t realize that we were paying for the water. We would have gone without. Overall great experience!

Ate here recently and it was so so, for the price I expected better. I had bruschetta and it wasn t great. My steak and potatoes were delicious, service was subpar, drinks were really slow, they forgot all the food for one member of our group and then asked them are you eating .. a few people risotto and did not like it. It was fine, not sure it was worth the price though.

Very disappointed. My mom and dad came here for their anniversary and I had high hopes for my birthday. But the duck breast my parents ordered was sooo tough (and I just thought the smoke was a little too strong) and once my mom complained our service went to sh**. She never brought the salt we asked for, never came to check on us again. Server was kind and great in the beginning but really fell off. There were six tables being used (seemed our server had three of them) in the restaurant and I can t believe how long it took my parents to get their second drinks. By the time we got them we were ready to leave. They only took my mom s duck off the bill. It also took us complaining and going to the front desk to get our bill that server told us there was an issue in the kitchen - you don t do that after the fact you let your table know as the issue is happening. Will not be going back :(

One of my favorite places in Edmonton now. Visited it 3 times in the last 2 months and with every visit they impressed me more and more. Food! Atmosphere! Service! Last service was absolutely outstanding. Our server Emily made us feel super special and welcome. Food was amazing. We had a great experience.

One of the best in Edmonton- if not the best food,atmosphere and service combination. This restaurant will not disappoint- a real treat to be experienced Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating and knowledgeable about menu items. Very flexible with substitutions. If you notify restaurant in advance they will prepare exactly what you want.

This restaurant is a love letter to food. Expect to pay for what you get, but what you get is top of the line service, professionality, and edible art. Definitely looking forward to going again.

A great place to dine. Five star service and food.

I took my Fiancee here to celebrate us getting engaged. Once my server (Christian) found out he immediately ran to get us complemantary champagne. Had several staff come by to congratulate us during our dinner. Plus the amazing food we had made our special day even more special.

Food was amazing, we had awesome service from Alexis. Lavender in the espresso martini probably not the best move. All around great experience!

I never write reviews, but this experience was ridiculous. We had a night out from the kids and picked Atlas for our anniversary dinner. We can t believe how horrible the service was. It took us 2 hours from our reservation time until we received our food. I went 30 minutes with an empty glass at one point. It started out ok. Table wasn t ready at our reso time. No big deal. Finally got our seat and waiter greats us. Asked if any special occasion, we tell him it s our Anniversary dinner. He says thanks for choosing us to spend it with Man I wish i didn t. The waiter just disappears shortly after. This is where 30 minutes with an empty glass comes in. Finally a guy in a suit (who wasn t even a waiter) tries helping us. Fast forward, the food now comes. We finish eating and a waitress now finally comes over (over an hour after the waiter last talked to us) and says your waiter had an emergency and had to leave (Were sorry to hear that and hope everything was ok) She asks if we re interested in a dessert menu. We say ok. She then disappears. After a while, my wife has had enough and no longer wants dessert. Just get us the heck out of here!! Waitress comes back with the dessert menu and we say we re no longer interested, can we please get the bill. She comes back fast with the $250 bill and finally makes conversation. Asks if we were celebrating anything. We tell her it s our anniversary. She says you should have told us. We do a nice dessert for you Well, we did with the first waiter and we also put it on our reservation. She just changes topic and asks what else we re doing for our anniversary. I grab the machine to pay and as I m paying the waitress talking to my wife says something like maybe on your next anniversary you can join us again and let us know so we can do something for you. WTH.?? You mean our next 10 year anniversary?? What a brutal experience on a special day.

The whole evening was great the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The chef put together a vegetarian meal for one in our group that was amazing. We had the pianist come by asking if we had any requests as he played every from rock to country. Highly recommend this restaurant!

It was an absolutely amazing night for us! We celebrated my husbands birthday today and we just have no words for the foods, the service, the atmosphere.. everything!!! Although were super late since we have to drive more than an hour.. they still welcomed us and even called us to ask if we need help with the directions.. We loved and enjoyed all the food that weve ordered; caesar salad, carpaccio, stuffed calamari.. and the main; tomahawk steak and the baked alaska.. everything is a must-try!!! our server, emily was so nice, very accommodating and really knowledgeable about the foods and all.. even their general manager, raffi is also nice and hes always ready to support and to help the staffs.. this is the first time that weve been in a restaurant like this here in Alberta... and if youre wanting to celebrate a special occassion, an intimate fancy date with your partner or even just a casual dinner with your friends or family.. you definitely should book Atlas!

The dishes were wonderful. We got the truffle and rubbed cowboy steaks, oyster rockefeller, and brussels sprouts. All were very delicious. Our table was luckily taken care by sweet Alexis. She was so thoughtful and considerate. Couldn t be more satisfied with the excellent service. Highly recommend!

Our waitress Emily was very sweet funny and recommended the the perfect wine to go with our Tomahawk steak! The steak was cooked to perfection and the caesar salad had to because the best salad we ve ever had!

We were there for our first time, and it was disappointing. The restaurant was empty, and I witnessed the staff standing at the host stand. It took my server Nathan 20 minutes to greet us despite standing around. The food was pretty good at least, and the piano player was great. The service was lacking however, definitely room for improvement.

Went here last night for dinner with a group 12 people. The waiter was so nice, but I think for the price you pay the service was just not there.. 2 people got the wrong Steaks, 1 person waited an additional 15 minutes to get their steak (after the whole table already got their entre). We ordered 3 seafood platters no shell plates came out.. everyones plates were full of shells and they didnt get cleared until we asked. When you have a $2500+ meal I expect the service to be much better then what we got.

Nathan was the man. Bro had both rizz and class, yet also swole and yolked to perfection. Highly recommend 10/10.

Beautiful as soon as we walked in, was greeted by Sophia she was accommodating and very knowledgeable of the menu, everything she recommended was amazing her service and bubbly personality made our whole experience ! I came here with my boyfriend for date night and I actually enjoyed it here so much. We had a 3 course meal with the wine included. The food was amazing especially the Ahi Tuna. I loved the raspberry cheesecake dessert. Each course came with a respective wine that fits the meal however the waiter forgot to get some of our wine and was off track with the meals. Overall it was a nice vibe here and the food was fantastic.

First time that I came to this restaurant. They were offering the $49 for 4 course meal deal. I LOVED this place. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated, has a nice classy Vegas feel to it, the music was groovy and relaxing, very clean and spacious. The food was top notch, in flavour, size and presentation. Our server was extremely friendly and professional and checked on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. Hopefully this restaurant continues to do these type of deals , and even if they dont, I will still visit this establishment again.

First time going to Atlas. We both chose the 4 course meal for 49$. It was fairly underwhelming for the most part. The soup is extremely bland. The petite steak was extremely good, however the chicken plate was extremely bad. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like smoke. Cheesecake dessert trumped the peanut butter one. We were seated right near the kitchen where all we heard for our evening was a grumpy head chef. To be frank he mainly ruined the night for myself to even begin to enjoy the night. Won t be back.

Dinner tonight was 10/10. Food was very well prepared with excellent portion size. The 4 course meal for $49 was superb. Our server Emily was warm and attentive. Oh the bread was also super delicious. Prime rib dinner was perfectly prepared. Tuna entree also fantastic. Will definitely return. Should also comment restaurant very busy on a Sunday evening. Book a reservation.

The food was good, but when it got to our table is was luke-warm . The overall styling of the restaurant was nice and created a nice vibe, but the staff did not seem very engaged. It was overall a bit lack-luster. The best part was by far the dessert, their cheesecake was very delicious.

That $49 - 4 course was very intriguing so figured we d give it a try. For the value - it s not terrible but oh boy was the service terrible. Our server was probably having a bad day as she didn t like us right from the get go. She kept rolling her eyes on every little thing. And gave us an attitude when THEY ran out of chicken. That course has few more options but unfortunately my gf doesn t eat any other meat or even mushrooms. Apps were pretty good. Steak could have had better seasoning and gnocchi was just bland and undercooked. Dessert nothing to brag about. Pretty average. It s not everyday we get to go to fancy places but it s always nice to see a happy server and be greeted with a smile, when we do go. Sadly this wasn t the case here. No one asked to refill our drinks/ waters. No one asked if we liked the food; If we needed condiments; pepper, nothing. 100% will not be coming back and will tell our friends to avoid. There s better places out there for sure. Ps- they charge $7 for water. Not a huge deal but would be nice to get a heads up. Dietary restrictions: Not dietary friendly. They roll their eyes if you ask for a substitute and say oh well, it is what it is

We came in for the $49 4 course meal but were disappointed with some of the courses which were only lukewarm in temperature when brought to our table and the dessert which was a chocolate bar and the other was a cheesecake and both had come frozen. It was very hard and not enjoyable to eat. I definitely had expected better from Atlas.

This place has a 5 or 4 course meal for $50.00 and every portion is disappointing. They only got 2 stars because they bring out these hilariously huge pepper grinders and I like gimmicky novelties like that. Its a $50.00 chefs dinner at a casino restaurant so maybe I shouldnt be surprised due to the price but even each wine in the wine pairing wasnt that good and Im easy to please when it comes to wine. I would go back if other people really wanted to go but I would not be ordering the chefs dinner

My boyfriend and I decided to come in the spur of the moment and could not be happier with our decision. We both had the tuna, I have no words, it was delicious! Our server Alexis recommended the bruschetta and roasted vegetables and they were amazing compliments to the meal. Her service was great and I highly recommend coming in!

Had the 4 course meal with wine pairings tonight, $69/person. Our server (I missed her name, but possibly Shea? Beautiful red haired woman that previously worked at a comedy club) was thoughtful, insightful, and lovely, making note of my allergies and explained the intricacies of each dish and wine. 100% will return, thank you! Note: try the blue cheese butter! Not a huge blue cheese fan, but wow!

Had the 4 course meal this evening with girlfriends and it was amazing. Their steak is always spot on. Alexis was serving is and it was fantastic. Always love dining here. First night with the pianist and that was a nice addition.

Start with an espresso martini, then a brie and truffle arancini -mind you made gluten free, chicken, steak (take your pick), cheesecake and peanut butter bar. It was DIVINE!! Really amazing experience and excellent service. We saw the promotion for their 4 course diner on Instagram and I m glad we tried it. For a higher end meal it was reasonably priced and made for an awesome date + movie night.

Beautiful place - food was mediocre for the cost. Went for the 49$ set menu and had a lukewarm warm soup. My partner had a salad that was prematurely taken from the table without even being asked if she was done. Set came with two options for dessert although we only had the option for the chocolate peanut dessert. Took nearly 25m for any waiter to greet us/bring water and almost 45m for our first course. Considering the bill was over 135$ for two people I will not be returning.

It was my wife and i s first time at atlas and everything was perfect! We had Emily as our server and she was excellent! The baked Alaska and the peppercorn sauce table side was our favourite! We will be back asap.

A nice spot for Edmonton, was not expecting that sort of atmosphere inside of the casino and at WEM much less. Melissa was the mixolgist and was our server, she was great. The food was good and it was very much like Ruth Kris approach with the sides. We will be going back there again.

Beautiful venue, lovely ambience, and a live piano player. It really sets up any occasion to be a great night. Where this restaurant falls short is its food quality. An overcooked steak, which lacked flavour, which was true of most things ordered. Special mention to the Brussels sprouts sides. This was excellent! Service was very attentive, full of information and suggestions, and instantly rectified the overcooked steak with a new cut, this time cooked perfectly. To conclude, for the cost of dining here, I wouldnt go again due to not being satisfied with the quality of the food.

Beautiful restaurant with phenomenal service. the bisque and tuna was my favorite appy from the ones we tried. tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and delicious, foie gras was a new a tasty recommendation that we now love! We were very very pleased with our experience dining here, only thing is I wish my husband took more pictures of all the food! Thank you to the welcoming hosts, pianist, chefs and our server Sophia - our party loved everything about our perfect night ! We will be back.

This was decidedly a mixed-bag experience, and I understand now why reviews seem to vacillate between 1 and 5 stars for this restaurant. On the plus side the food quality was amazing. The truffle steak was sublime and perfectly cooked and the sides and appetizers were also awesome. On the minus side, the overall experience at this restaurant was not at all what one would expect from a fine dining establishment. The biggest issue was that our food took over an hour to come out. To their credit the management proactively recognized this and gave us a round of drinks, but this was still the longest I have ever waited for a meal at a restaurant. The drink menu was on a tablet device but was woefully out of date and inaccurate. The piano was beautiful but deafening and I could not hear acquaintances for entire swathes of the evening. And our waitress seemed to oscillate between being friendly and quirky, and somewhat rude. I would love to say that I d be back, but unfortunately the food quality didn t make up for the overall experience. Kid-friendliness: No minors allowed as it is part of the casino.

We tried the tasting menu which in itself was a good value for the amount of food we received. So for the price point - it was fine. However, there were multiple flaws with the meal that led the entire experience to feel mediocre. Once our service began, the food & drinks came out at an acceptable time. However, to have our order taken in the first place took close to 20 minutes. After receiving our food, the potato chowder was in desperate need of salt, otherwise the base flavours were good. The waitress made an error in our wine pairings (2 people s wines were switched). We realized after trying the wine, and after mentioning it we received a brief apology but no offer to receive the correct wine pairing. The chicken dish was missing an element (sesame seeds), the cheesecake was missing the meringue chips, and the chocolate peanut butter cake was substituted raspberry because they ran out of popcorn. They mentioned the substitution for the peanut butter cake, but the other 2 dishes were simply incomplete with no mention of the missing elements. I would like to add that of our party of 4, 3 desserts came out, and the 4th dessert was delayed by close to 10 minutes. Our party was largely finished eating by the time the final dessert was delivered. This could make sense if it was a cooked dish - but these are simple slices of cheesecake/chocolate cake. There s no reason a singular dessert should lag so far behind the rest of the table. So overall, the food was not great, but alright. However it s always disappointing to not receive what is advertised, or be given an incorrect order (wine pairings) with no offer to correct it.

To put it simply, a very underwhelming experience. We decided to go to Atlas to take advantage of their 4-course meal for $49 ($69 with wine pairing). For the amount that we paid, you would expect an elevated dining experience, however Ive had better experiences at restaurants for half the price. The bad 1.) Our waitress seemed completely uninterested in her job and was neither rude nor delightful. However, other wait staff seemed to be far more professional and exuberant 2.) It took 30 minutes for someone to come and take our order 3.) Once our order was taken, it took an addition 20 minutes for the starter to come out, which was a single deep fried cheese ball. 4.) The coordination between staff for each course was very poor. For example, we received our wine pairing 15 minutes before we received our starter; when we received our second course, we didnt have any cutlery to eat it with until we asked staff for it; and our wine pairings came 5 minutes after we received the second course 5.) The mushroom chowder was lukewarm at best when we received it 6.) The restaurant was freezing The good 1.) The atmosphere was nice (live piano player) 2.) The wine pairings were lovely I think the restaurant was in over their head with this special, however the staff did their best. Not worth the price.

The group of us had the four course menu with wine pairing which were a delight. however, the wait time for the food was a bit delayed our server made up for the wait; she was very polite and professional. atlas has a fancy atmosphere dim lighting, loud colours, candles which gives the place a very romantic upscale ambiance. the pianist. wow. phenomenal. the only downside about our experience was the wait for the food. food was good but nothing special our sides were cold. other than that Sophia accommodated us very well. we plan to come on a slower night.

We came in a group of 3 for the four course meal deal and had a great experience. Our waitress Shay provided great service, the seared tuna was - extremely- tasty, and super bonus the dining area was very cozy, they even played some techno and house music :)

My fiancé and I went to Atlas on Friday night for their $69 4 course and wine pairing special. We arrived for our reservation at 8pm, where it took 3 different hosts to find our reso and seat us. Once we were seated it took about 10 minutes for us to be greeted, the server was friendly but fairly unprofessional. They did also give us each a glass of Prosecco as an apology for the tardiness of the greeting. As she was taking our order she set her order sheet down on the table to write the orders down. The amuse bouche course arrived promptly but without cutlery for approx 5 minutes and it was quite bland. I ordered the ceaser salad and my fiancé ordered the potato chowder. The salad with severely under dressed with stale croutons, the potato chowder was room temperature at best and also fairly bland. Upon finishing the first course it took over 30 minutes to receive the second course. I got the petit filet, my fiancé had the mushroom risotto and we ordered the lobster and shrimp thermidor and Brie mashed potatoes to share. Everything with the exception of the mashed was COLD and the risotto inedible bland mush. The server did her best as nearly everything was sent back to the kitchen. The new risotto was slightly better, still a bit mushy and under seasoned but at least hot. The lobster and steak returned slightly warmer but still cold on the inside and the lobster was completely dry as if thrown under a broiler for a few minutes. When I cut into the steak it was blue rare (ordered medium rare) at this point we were done. We spoke to the manager who, while kind really offered no solutions. Realistically he should ve stepped in way earlier as this whole experience lasted 2 hours. We paid for our cocktails and left. My fiancé and I both work in restaurants and this was absolutely brutal. The only good part of the meal was the wine, which was agreed upon by other patrons leaving at the same time as us. I understand that specials like this one can be challenging to execute but as a restaurant trying to reignite business this fell absolutely flat. And honestly, the furthest thing from fine dining.

Came here and ordered 2 steaks and lobster tails to go with the steaks, both steaks came out cold and the lobster tails were cold as well. They offered to re heat the steaks but then it would be cooked more than I asked for. The manager said she saw the food come off the grill but if that s the case there should be no reason for our steaks to be cold. The food was terrible and very unimpressed. Our original waitress was very respectful which was nice but we had 3 different people come to our table about our food but still it seemed like nobody knew what was going on

This place has a beautiful ambience. But I am submitting a review based on my experience of booking this restaurant for an important milestone birthday for a family member, who absolutely loves seafood. When I booked, there was no mention of the fact that this is an 18+ establishment, and when we arrived with my young granddaughter we were turned away. Worse still, we had all travelled from out of town to come here. What was to have been a memorable occasion turned into a table at a chain restaurant nearby, which was all we could get in to at that point. Worst of all perhaps? I didnt get a sense the management cared much. I get that rules are rules...I just feel that things should have been better communicated on the phone and website. I hope Atlas will correct that and prevent this kind of thing from happening in future.

The restaurant had a good atmosphere, and the food was really good. They also followed our request to have nice seats, which we greatly appreciated. It allowed us to watch the kitchen in action, and the live pianist accepted our song request. Our server was really nice and knew what he was doing. He suggested a good wine pairing and great accompaniments. The only downside was that it took a while for us to get the bill, but it was acceptable since it was dinner service and it was getting busier. We came here for a date night, and surely can recommend it for special occassions with your loved one. We d definitely come back again! Kid-friendliness: Sign says 18+ as it s located in a casino, so do not come with kids.

We had an amazing experience on Friday, April 28. The atmosphere was beautiful, with a live piano player! The wine and spirits list was vast and varied. The menu was incredible with so much to choose from that we definitely have to come back. The service and food presentation had us reviling in delight. We can t wait to come back

Giving it a 2 because the restaurant is beautiful, but they cant handle a group of 10. We waited over an hour between appetizers and actual meal which came out lukewarm-cold. The steaks that were served I would be embarrassed to serve based on appearance alone, they looked like they were microwaved and put on the grill just to get some grill lines I ve had better steaks at boston pizza. Surprisingly all they wanted to do for us to compensate for the poor food and service was to remove the 18% mandatory gratuity that they charge for large groups. It is so disappointing taking a group out only to disappoint them. Paying hundreds of dollars for below mediocre food is not okay.

The only reason it has 2 stars is because the atmosphere is stunning and the pianist was great. First: making a reservation for a group of 9 people was a disaster. Hostess have no idea what theyre talking about. I suggest more training in this area. Second: we ordered appetizers, those came out quick and no complaints there. 1 hour later and we are still wondering where our entrees are. I go and ask and the Manger says she will check. Wait a few minutes, a waitress comes and asks us if we want more water and we ask her to check where our food is. Wait a few more minutes someone else from our table goes to ask where the food is, they say 2 - 4 more minutes. The food finally comes out, both orders of 1/2 rack of lamb were cold and it was served with shaggy potatoes dont know what they were supposed to be but they are flavorless and soggy and garnished with some pomegranates and Lettuce....apparently the server said the shaggy potatoes were supposed to be a garnish but it covered the entire plate. Other guests potatoes were cold, other guests steaks were cold. One steak looked like it was microwaved and then put on the grill to make grill lines (ordered medium it came out well done) Third: if youre going to charge an auto gratuity, make sure your servers actually do their job right, we had to ask twice for a drink menu. We waited 15 minutes for a diet coke refill. I was never asked if I wanted a refill and it was hard to even get his attention. He seemed very irritated with us although how could any of this be our fault we made no changes to the meals we ordered and all we wanted as a good experience. Id say we are far from even a mediocre experience. I understand maybe this restaurant opened only 1 month ago but a few suggestions: if your cooks cant handle the kitchen maybe find some that can? Also maybe find someone else who is better at serving larger parties as our service was a 1/5 at best. Also, how does a system get hacked and why is that even mentioned to us, its unprofessional.

Atlas Steak + Fish is easily one of my top favorite restaurant in Edmonton. I was so excited when they re-opened early April 2023. A note that this restaurant is for 18+ and it s by the casino in WEM. Their happy hour is fantastic with half price oysters. They also have many great selection for happy hour in the menu including a hand crafted cocktails on rotation. The cocktail when we were there was the Bulleit with Butterfly wings and it was a superb drink!!!! We also ordered from their main dinner menu and the food was fantastic. If you ordered a steak, you get to pick your steak knife. Fancy! I can t wait to come back here and try out some of the food we didn t order. We also loved our dessert which is the Strawberry Rhubarb Pavlova Cheesecake. Yum!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint from our server Jason who went above and beyond , The kitchen who made our delicious meals! and of course cannot forget about Kerby for taking care of our reservation! This place is 10/10 Will definitely come back!

May 12, 2023: We were so excited that Atlas at WEM was open again, since it closed during Covid. However, What a huge disappointment! We made reservations for my 70th birthday, they asked if it was a special occasion. The Spicy Seafood Spagettini (mussles, lobster, shrimp), no spice, no salt, just tomatoe and fennel. The tiny - no minature - shrip were hard and tasteless. My husband had the Bass, but they poured a huge amount of a liquid sauce over all the fish - it was swimming in it - that also was tasteless and with so much of the sauce the fish also tasted bland! I doubt if I will ever go back! $200 +, and we had wished we had gone to Earls or someplace we know the food was at least pretty decent. The service was good though, but that is about it. I am not sure why they ever ask if we were coming in for any special occasion, cause they certainly did not make it special. So very disappointing!

First time dining at Atlas and we ordered a Bengali Gimlet (gin drink), table side Caesar salad to start which they prepared right at your table from scratch and explain the process - was pretty cool to see. My husband ordered the tomahawk porkchop which was done medium rare (even though he knew how it was going to be cooked it threw him off a bit because he wasnt used to it) he said he enjoyed it though. I ordered the whole roasted seabass and I was not disappointed. It came as an actual whole fish - head and all- which was interesting. It didnt bother me though it was so good with the garlic butter on it and the warm potato salad was really good and had a little kick to it. For dessert we went with a baked alaska. We had no idea really what this was. We just saw it being lit on fire and had to have it. It was actually very good I would definitely order it again. It had delicious Italian meringue toasted on the outside and inside was two different flavours of what I may say is sorbet (?) and a nice light cake like bottom to it. Our server was very friendly and polite. He kept us informed of what was going on and answered any questions I had. We enjoyed our dinning experience here for sure! Definitely recommend and well be coming back. Thanks!

Came here on a Friday with a reservation. Food was excellent, however the service was very poor. We were notified at the very beginning that the system was down, however it appeared to be a pre-planned outage, as they indicated things wouldnt be fixed for a week. The restaurant never had over a third of the tables at capacity, but service remained so slow. The meal took over three hours from the time we sat down to the time we got the bill. The server described food options for foods that were not available on that day. It took over an hour for us to even place our order. There was a disconnect between staff over what carbonated beverage brand they carried (my friend ordered a coke and the server advised that they only carried Pepsi products - then when my friend asked for a refill on her Pepsi, the bartender stated they only had Coke products). There were staff members that indicated they would refill our waters, but then not return for over 20 minutes, and then proceeded to spill the water all over the table and clean it up with our cloth napkins but then not replace the napkins. When they cleaned the table, theyd only take a portion of the dirty dishes. When we recieved the bill, it took about half an hour for the waiter to come back to collect payment. Overall, it was a very painful three hours. However, the food was very good.

Was excited to eat here but for the amount of money we paid Id rather go to Red Lobster. The food was bland, no salt at all. The lobster on 2 dishes was overcooked. My shrimp was dry and overcooked. It was really nothing special and honestly a waste of money.

Located on the second floor of starlight casino. Its easy to find and I believed they only allow 18+. Nathan, our server was very polite and accomodating. In general, the food servings, service, food taste and athmosphere is really great. The menu prices is highly justified. They also have a live pianist too!! Will totally come back here again. Please bring your date here!!

I have been to this location a few times I used to frequent the location downtown to see their bartender Melissa as her hospitality makes me want to always come back, I came in for a group dinner the staff were amazing our server Alexis was very attentive and welcoming we had a great night with amazing food from appetizers to our mains and dessert, our drinks were also great. Just a very welcoming atmosphere with great staff, great food and drink.

The manager here Caryn is not helpful at all. My experience was very poor from both meals ordered at the table having to be remade twice, server not knowing what s on the menu or can/can t be done and the amount of time wasted for a single dinner here was ridiculous. Do not expect much from this place, it s over hyped.

Ive been sitting on this for a while and just need to say something. It was bad. $500 for 4 people. Bland flavor. The mac n cheese had no salt. I think the butter for the seafood was old oil? It was gross. Seafood was overcooked on 2 of our dishes. I didnt finish my meal and threw it out afterwards. Waste of money. Wont come back.

When Atlas first opened in downtown a couple years ago, it was one of my favourite restaurants! Today I went to Atlas in the west end for the first time, it was a big disappointment. I ordered two items, New York striploin and Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was great, but the star, the New York striploin was flavourless. My expectation was that it was seasoned properly.

Im not one to leave reviews, more of a private person. But this place deserves to be reservation only, yet there were some open tables on a Saturday night. Highly recommended, the quality and experience for what you pay was phenomenal. Happy to have a place like this for Edmontonians to enjoy, it was almost a start the car! experience, as everything just far exceeded expectations for the cost.

Worst service ever. Booked a table and arrived on time. Table was not ready and asked to wait for 30 minutes. Received a call 30 minutes later asking us to wait another hour or so!

I have always had a hard time finding a place that can offer a fine steak that can hold up to its menu price tag. ATLAS sure did it... its pricing is on the higher side, but it DOES hold up and you will not regret your choice. This is now my go-to for all out of country guests who wants to try some good alberta beef. Besides the steak, their other menu items are also fantastic, specially the seafood on seafood night. I think if this restaurant existed longer, that so called fancy one in downtown would have been put out of business by now. Staff here are also very friendly, dinner environment is also very well done. One thing i can nitpick on if I really had to is service time can take long (busy or not). So bring a fine date and make use of that time before dinner for a nice drinks and chat. It is above the casino so no minors (which I LOVE).. no noisy kids running around spoiling the dinner *thumbs up Update 2023-05-26 After Covid, many restaurants has really gone down in quality, food portion, and service. After being closed for pretty much two years; I have to give Atlas a try again, since they are one of my top favorite restaurants of this type in Canada. We had a dozen of fresh oysters than their 48oz Tomahawk. The oysters was great, presentation was classy with small touches (like having the lemon wrapped in mesh to avoid lemon seeds from dropping into your food), does show the restaurant actually spends effort to ensure the best dining experience. The Tomahawk steak was HUGE, and very well prepared. Medium Rare is not easy to prepare, and it was on-point. The outside of the steak was nicely grilled to a nice layer of crisp and flavor, while not a bit of burnt taste. The center was pink and juicy yet at a good warm temperature. The table side prepared pepper corn sauce was also fantastic. The only complain I have was that the A/C was set way too high, causing the marble table top to be ice cold to touch.. all our dishes was served at a good hot temperature, but since the dining room was so cold, everything got cold within mins of arrival which was a disappointing. The A/C issued was addressed to management and we were told it will be addressed. All and all, the first visit after they re-open was a very pleasant dining experience. Specially our server Corey, he is probably one of the best servers Ive encountered in North America (including fine dines from NY). Atlas Steak and Fish remains as my top 5 favorite restaurants of this type in Canada.

I wont pull punches, it was all over the place. Went on a Friday night, Maybe 8-9 tables out of many were actually seated. Service was spotty, as the lady serving us was quite slow to bring us drinks, refills, the cheque etc. I ordered the Caesar salad, the 10 oz striploin + lobster shrimp Thermador and the whipped brie mashed potatoes. The striploin, Thermador and mashed potatoes were all good. Lacking salt and other seasonings, but they were cooked well and came to the table hot. The Caesar salad, was garbage. Pure Garbage. The dressing was absolutely revolting, on top of the fact that there was barely any on the salad. Way too much lettuce for 2 people, not enough bacon bits and was just overall poor. On top of that, they charge you 16$ a person! 32$ for two people to eat a salad I wouldnt even feed to a dog. And to top it all off, we were offered water at the beginning of the meal. Still, Tap or sparkling, which is a very good selection. What they neglect to tell you however, is that if you get anything but tap, they will charge you for it! Without ever making it apparent or clear that there is an upcharge for it. Overall, I would say I would call the whole operation ambitious with terrible execution. They charge way too much, and underdeliver. Will not be back, not ever

The food was amazing. I had the half rack of lamb and it was cooked to a perfect medium as I had ordered. Everyone else at my table had steaks that all came cooked properly. Our server was great and certainly added to the overall dining Experience. Salad and a sauce made at our table flambé. I particularly enjoyed choosing my weapon of choice steak/ meat knife from the case. Dessert and proper espresso after dinner topped it off wonderfully and provided another layer to the Experience and more flambé with the baked Alaska. Definitely being added to the date night rotation. Sorry no pics I prefer to enjoy the experience rather than photo documenting it. Wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, cooked exactly to order, and arrived hot. Service was professional, table side food preparation was efficient as well as entertaining. I am looking forward to eating there again.

My fiancé and I had an amazing experience at Atlas this evening, courtesy of the accommodating staff, especially from Shaq. Both of us had been working without much rest for months and Shaq ensured that we had a night to remember as this was one of the few times we were able to have a date night. From the moment we had arrived, we were warmly greeted and patiently escorted to our table. When ordering our meals, after selecting what we wanted, our server Nathan extensively described suggestions of what we should pair with each stage of our dinner. Prior to ordering our appetizer, we decided to go with a bottle of wine and we were provided a couple of samplers based on the type of wine that we wished to order for our dinner experience. After enjoying our charcuterie board as an appetizer, we were surprised to see that we had an opportunity to choose the knives we were to use to enjoy our entrées! There was a wide variety of them ranging from smaller and lighter knives for seafood and heavier and more serrated knives for steak. While they were displayed for our selection, another server explained her suggestions for which one we should use for the dishes that we ordered. Throughout the evening, we were visited by various staff, looking to ensure that our dinner experience was up to expectations and our water and wine levels were maintained with great care. Thank you Shaq, for helping us create a memorable night with each other! We certainly plan to visit again when we both have time!

Food was just not good at all. Asked for my tenderloin to be served medium, I received Chicago style, Crab cake was very dry, Tartar was dark brown and tasted only of soy sauce, and we were served closed mussels..a huge no in the food industry. The piano was a nice touch though, we enjoyed that.

Food was good. Atmosphere good. Our server great. Bar slow. We were a table of 13,the meal should NOT have taken 4.5 hours. Additionally its located above the casino. Not deep in the mall.

Food was incredible! We had a large group and it seems as though it was challenging to get food out in a timely manner but the taste most certainly made up for it.

We visited Atlas as our first date night in months. Food was fantastic and the live pianist made the atmosphere exceptional. I would highly recommend Atlas and we would definitely make plans to return. Finally reopened after 3.5 years for covid! Food still as delicious as ever!

Delicious! Get the roasted wild mushroom truffle fondue to add even more decadence to your steak and potatoes or just eat it with a spoon. Love this place!

This restaurant is more than 5 stars!! My daughter brought my dad and I here for my birthday and all I have to say is wow. Food was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond expectations to make sure the best service was provided. The ambiance was very welcoming and relaxing. The head chef Yexela came by to say hello and make sure everything was delicious. And lastly, our waiter Jason was excellent. If I could give a diamond rating it would get 5 diamonds!

The happy hour oysters were fresh and grilled seafood was excellent. Thank you our waiter Nathan for the excellent service

Jason has to be the best waiter we have ever had. I ve travelled the world and he is by far beyond knowledgeable. I cannot dictate how taken care of we were! Amazing!

The entire dining experience was exceptional. All of our dishes were delicious, especially the lobster bisque (highly recommend). The service we received from our waitress, Sophia, was also great. She was attentive, and had great attention to detail. Highly recommend this restaurant if you re looking for a steakhouse in the city (a plus that they have seafood and other entrees as well).

I took my brother out for his birthday and it was Ana amazing experience! Alexis the server was absolutely amazing consistant and always asking if she can get us anything and just so kind. She always had a smile. I will always come back here! Amazing food amazing servers highly recommend!

We visited Atlas for my birthday. It was where I had proposed to my wife (pre-COVID) and had a wonderful experience. During this visit it was almost entirely empty at 7:30pm. The service was slow and when we did have her arrive at the table it was to provide a new drink menu as the one provided by the host was dead (tablet menu system) and we were unable to even consider drinks until the new one was provided. We were also given a paper drink menu because we were told the tablet menu was fairly inaccurate. My thought was then why even provide it if its inaccurate?. When our drink orders were taken we were advised of the list of what we could not have due to being short of ingredients. Due to this we both had to make alternate decisions. Even then my wifes mango gin beverage was obviously missing any hint of mango puree or syrup when they were brought. We were advised of the list of items that were new to try by the host when seated and then again advised of the items that we could not have based on, you guessed it, missing ingredients by our server. At this point we had been here far too long and had been disappointed with so many aspects of the visit we decided to take ourselves elsewhere for dinner that might not have been so problematic. We wrapped up quickly and made our way elsewhere. Im not sure whats happened here but I can tell you that itll be a long time before we give them a try again, if we even do. Very sad as we arrived with great expectations.

My colleague and I came here to relax after a long work day and we enjoyed our time here at Atlas Steak + Fish. The food was great with decent portions and the chefs did a great job preparing our entrees and sides. However, our server seemed quite nervous and was quite skittish. She couldnt decide if all entrees were a la carte, or if it was just steaks. We didnt mind, but it wouldve been nice if she confirmed with someone. We ended up ordering extra potato sides because we werent aware that our entrees already came with potatoes. She also forgot an ingredient when preparing our tableside caesar salad, which was a bit awkward. I also thought it was quite funny that they were playing piano versions of meme songs like Axel F and the Mission Impossible theme. It was a bit unexpected for a fine dining establishment, but it was a fun time.

We dined at Atlas last night, and we were so excited to try it out for the first time. We often dine out at steakhouses, but I am so sad to say that last night was such a huge disappointment. The food was absolutely horrible, I was left wondering if they even had a BOH management on or if we were left to the line cooks. I rarely leave a review , but this food experience was so disappointing I feel like people should know before spending their $$$ here. Food: we started with bruschetta and the stuffed calamari. We were disappointed in both. The calamari was so bad we took one bite and immediately sent it back. It arrived to the table cold and the actual flavours of the dish were not good. The bruschetta was edible but not great. It was clear it had been prepped quite a while ago as the tomatoes were spongey and soggy, not even the skin had texture. Not enough acid or basil to be a good bruschetta. For mains we splurged on a tomahawk, as well as asparagus in bernaise, fois gras, truffle fries, and the whipped Brie mashed potatoes. We were disappointed in almost everything that arrived at the table. We watched the cooks take our steak out of the oven(?) engulfed in fire, and we could definitely taste the over charred burnt outside of the steak. Usually a little char on a steak is great but the outsides of our steak were burnt and very clearly well done. The tomahawk arrived to the table nice and hot, but every potato on the plate underneath it was cold. Furthermore there wasn t an once of seasoning (salt) on the steak, the flavour was completely bland and it was hard to eat the steak without asking our sever to bring salt to our table. We had to sale almost the entire main course. The truffle fries were really large and thankfully there was nothing blatantly wrong with them, they were ok. The asparagus was sooooo disappointing. It came with like 2 spoonfuls of bernaise, not even enough to really enjoy with the asparagus. It was also clear that this was NOT a bernaise made in house, definitely something ordered in or even powdered. The tarragon was clearly dried and not fresh. The mash potatoes were also so devoid of salt, they were so bland. There honestly wasn t one good piece of food that we enjoyed that evening. I wanted to send a lot back but the front of house staff were so nice and lovely that I didn t want to complain a second time after sending an appetizer back. Pros: the front of house staff were lovely and so kind. You can tell they were putting in a lot of effort to try and wow their customers, unfortunately they were let down by the execution of the food. The room itself is quite lovely. Drinks were good, we had beer and a cocktail. Our bill was close to $300 for 3 people and honestly, there wasn t one piece of food that came to the table that was truly enjoyable. Unfortunately I don t think we will be giving atlas another chance.

We came to Atlas on a spur of the moment date night and had Alexis as our server. She was so friendly and accommodating! She even gave me two baby Tabasco s to take home because I couldn t get over how stinking cute they were! The food was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. Alexis was very knowledgeable with the menu, she had amazing suggestions and was so pleasant. Thank you to Alexis for making our date night so memorable!

Came here with my family for my birthday and this place ruined our day. Ordered 4 steaks and all of them were so tough and chewy. Complained to sous chef and then she never came back. Asked for a manager and he was the most unprofessional manager you can ever meet. Waited for him to come out for about 20 minutes. Then he came and said they will not charge for the dessert that we NEVER ordered and worst of all, he just turned his back on us and went to hide in the back. Do not come here if you want good food and good service and especially if you are celebrating a special occasion because they are great in ruining the event.

Avoid this place. If you want a jaw exercise, or your tooth to hurt because of excessive chewing, then you can come here for steaks. Their steaks are so tough and chewy, not sure how long they were in the freezer for. Sous chef and manager on site were extremely rude, unprofessional, not caring at all and displays the worst customer service I have ever seen. It s okay to pay a lot for great food and service, but this is not that place as it is all about the money. Avoid at all costs!

Heard about this place on the radio. First time and wont be back. Too expensive for what you get. The steak was cold and lacks flavor. I recommend you sit far from the kitchen and piano as it can be really loud especially when the staff talk among themselves. I dont recommend this place. Im shocked to find out that they opened few years ago, but with the quality of food and service its something you would expect from a restaurant that just opened and still learning. Youll find better quality steakhouse in the city other than this place.

Great service, the food was excellent!

They ruined a special occasion for us because of bad food, horrible service, blatant disregard for customers and a complete absence of professionalism. Steaks were tough, and after we complained, no one came back to our table. Instead, the sous chef and staff can be seen talking to each other while looking at our table. Asked for a manager and 1) he said that the dessert that we never ordered is free and 2) he cannot do anything about the steaks because it was eaten. We did not order the dessert. You brought it to the table with no explanation and then you re bragging that it s free because of our steaks? Where is the logic in this? Keenan just turned his back on us, he just left. Then hid in the back. Server came with the bill, the full bill and said we have to pay for full amounts for everything. On top of that is an 18% gratuity that he automatically applied but this cannot be seen anywhere on your menu. I have emailed Kristen and still waiting for a response.

Beautiful place for a special night out! Alexis was our server and she was so attentive and kind! She always made sure we are comfortable and checked on us often! The Ribeye was delicious, duck and caviar was to die for, and the Baked Alaska is an absolute must have!!! Keep in mind this place is pricy, but the atmosphere, service, and food more than makes up for it! Definitely a great hidden fine dining restaurant in the Casino!

Absolutely loved my time at this steak and fish spot! The vibe is cozy, the service is top-notch, and oh boy, the steaks and fish are just heavenly. Whether youre a steak lover or a fish fanatic, this place has you covered. Treat yourself you wont be disappointed!

First time coming here and it did not disappoint. Walking in and was greeted by 2 very welcoming girls. The restaraunt was beautiful inside, very warm feeling. They had a piano player which was a great touch rather than just music. Our server was excellent. Polite, funny and very professional when recommending which steak to get. To start we had the stuffed calamari which was really nice. Then for mains I got the 14oz striploin which was i said the best steak in edmonton. That josper oven is fantastic. My wife had the duck breast which was amazing. The asparagus was delicious and the mashed potatoes also excellent. We will be back for sure

Our group of 11 had a lovely meal at Atlas. I would certainly recommend the group menu for corporate events, etc. We supplemented this with two charcuterie and cheese boards, which were packed with an excellent variety and also beautifully presented. Alexis, our server, was super.

Our group has been here since 7:30 pm....its 10:14 and we havent been fed yet. Repeatedly told 10 more minutes....

VIP experience from start to finish! Best kept secret for fine dining at WEM. Service & atmosphere was spectacular! The steak, mashed potatoes, butter sauce tray, charcuterie board, and lobster/crab rolls were our favourites. Our new spot for movie/date nights! :)

Hello everyone, this was a wonderful spot to join for dinner. We had made a reservation which was nice because It can be very busy, and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. We had fantastic wine and great appetizers to start off our evening and the waiter was very attentive to our water glasses and wine making sure everyone was full. The meals came out and from the pictures you can tell how their presentation was and as good as It looks It tasted the same. Very great meals and then we slide into a nice desert (crème brûlée) which was amazing. Overall a very great meal and will go back again. Thanks Team!

THURSDAY 50% price for all seafood related dishes! SUNDAY all you can eat pime rib! Amazing food! Amazing service! Very well worth the price! I think the price promotion is only for WEM 2nd floor Starlight Casino, it does not include the Atlas in downtown. Im not sure how long the promotion will last. But this location is hands down the better one. Anyways, google map location pin is very inaccurate for the restaurant. Atlas is @ 2nd floor, Starlight Casino, WEM.

Great atmosphere, seating was not right next to other people. Food is very good, tasty and has Gluten Free options. Staff was very nice and friendly. Will keep coming back. Thank you for the great experience.
