Authentic Thai restaurant in Edmonton
We dined here yesterday... the food was really good & the food portions were fair. They lose 2 stars because the young male server that served us, well it was obvious he didn't want to be there and we never got a smile and it ruined my girlfriend's experience. Our bill came to $100 and we still tipped 20% because the owner was hard working and we didn't think it was his fault regarding the waiter's service but we both agreed we will not be back to dine in. A smile goes a long way and we were the only people in the restaurant.
Loved it. Wasn't sure if I would like it. Not too spicy, just mild warm. Generous portions. Would definitely order again. Got the Green Curry, Coconut Rice, Beef Oyster Sauce and of course, spring rolls.
Highly recommend booking a sit down lunch at Noi’s! He is the sweetest, friendliest host and the food is delicious. I understand this may not be the most sought after location but we felt perfectly safe eating in and Noi definitely loved the company. The serving was large and could take home leftovers. The restaurant is meticulously clean and has a beautiful painted mural. Will come back!
The food is heart-warming and soothing. Customer service top tier. Definitely recommend!
This is a quiet restaurant and it offers a good space to have conversations, with tasty food at afforable prices. I had the coconut rice, red curry, and gaengh kha gai soup. The food tastes nice, simple, and homemade.
First time trying this place for Chinatown dining week and it was pretty good! There are not many Thai restaurants around so I’m glad I found another good restaurant. The portions are a good size. Would come back.
A wonderful Thai restaurant in the inner city of Edmonton. The space itself is serviceable...nothing special. And the service is ok. The food, though, is very good and feels very reminiscent of how authentic Thai food is served. It tastes sincerely homemade. Noi Thai always serves in a pinch to get traditional food to go downtown.
We were looking for a different dining experience and taste that Sunday evening after church. Thankful that our search took us to Noi Thai. We were warmly greeted as we entered. Food is great and tasty. We finished everything including the rice 😀 The restaurant a family affair 😍 We would definitely come back to try the other dishes.
First time coming but will definitely not be the last! Generous portions, great prices and VERY TASTY food. My husband said it was the best Thai he s ever had!
Hard working family but the son had cold and was using tissue while in the kitchen area and serving -
The freezer was noisy and made a humming sound the whole time. Not the greatest ambience. The food was clearly prepared ahead of time warmed up and served. Definitely not what it used to be at this location.
We ordered Panang Curry via DoorDash. The food was delicious. Lots of chicken in the curry. Will order again. Food
Nice spot in the in the city centre. With tasty food and quick service.
Our take-out meal was absolutely outstanding this evening! So fresh. Delicious.
Very friendly and very good food
Fantastic food. Family run, great attention to detail, just a wonderful place.
TLDR; we found a hair and lost our appetites. The place was very quiet, except for the kid AGGRESSIVELY playing video games at the back. It was just awkward silence and his angry clicking and grumbling. We were afraid to speak loudly or at all to disturb anyone. The other kid server clearly wanted to be on his laptop gaming or on Discord than get up and serve us. When we asked for a group photo, he ROLLED HIS EYES before complying. While I understand kids can be kids, this was a restaurant dinning experience and felt highly unprofessional. And the food. God, it was the most BLAND Thai food Ive ever tasted. I dont know what fake accounts decided to review this place, but they clearly have never tasted a good Thai food place. Curry was aromatic, but too runny. The Tamarack Chicken had a good texture, but thats about it. We ordered an appetizer for the cream cheese wonton, but it never came out. And worst of all, we found A HAIR in our pad thai. While the food was bland, it was still edible. But the moment we found the hair, all the appetite in us just vanished. We were so thoroughly disappointed as we left.
Hair in food. Bad service. Food was not good.
Great food, prepared quickly. Excellent service. Very clean restaurant.
I order from here all the time but they don t always follow instructions. We asked for spicy and today the food has no spice and no flavour. Really disappointed.
We ordered takeout on a Friday night and experienced unfortunately bad and very pricey Thai food. We had Salad Rolls, Hell Beef, Panang Curry, and Drunken Noodles. Of our meals, the Panang was by far the best and would rate it as decent. The Hell Beef was boiled meat and very chewy. The Salad Rolls were bland and had shrimp when we ordered chicken. The Drunken Noodles were made with cheap ramen noodles (like instant noodles), instead of thick nice egg noodles, and had a very watery sauce. Maybe it was an off night for this restaurant but with the combination of very small portions for the expensive price and the poor quality I won t be ordering here again.
Friendly calm environment welcoming and a welcome exit. Very respectful we had the red wine shirmp and shrimp friend rice. Very delicious. Ill recommend.
The food is delicious. I got the green curry, red curry, and coconut rice for takeout. The wait wasn t long and the food was hot and fresh. They package it very carefully and securely so that nothing spilled at all on the way home. The curry is amazing, really great flavour. I love the curry with the coconut rice so much, I will absolutely keep coming back here.
The restaurant is very beautiful and cozy. Enthusiastic service staff. The soup and salad are delicious, the remaining dishes are quite salty. One thing I really like here is that on each plate you will receive a message, very interesting :))) You should make a reservation before coming because the restaurant is quite crowded.
Superb Thai food! Having lived and traveled in Thailand for decades, I can attest to the quality of the cooking. Noi is a very kind and gentle man, and the inside of the restaurant is decorated with a beautiful painting of banana plants on the wall. Highly recommend.
Fresh, crispy veggies, delicious dishes. We love this restaurant. Staff are super attentive & friendly. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options. Kid-friendliness: Staff were very friendly to our young child
Green curry is scrumptious, coconut rice light and fragrant, roti rolls divine. Definately new favorite spot.
Food was great!!!!
Amazing food at amazing prices, you know the restaurant is gonna be amazing if your server is younger and this place is no exception. Very chill at atmosphere.
Good!
Great food. Amazing soup. First time, I will be back.
I went for lunch with colleagues and ordered the orange cashew nut chicken. It was so good and very reasonable pricing. I will definitely go back!
Noi Thai offered a tasty experience overall. While the pad Thai was a bit runny, the green currys rich flavor impressed. The Tom Yum, not overly sweet, was a standout.
This place was an amazing supride. Came here for the Chinatown dining week and boy was it ever worth it. The coconut soup was do refreshing and light but packed huge flavor. The thai green curry was equally exceptional. Definitely will be going back!.
Absolutely delicious. My partner and I went for the Chinatown Dining Week special and completely loved the thom yum soup, coconut soup, green curry, and coconut rice -- 10/10 for those dishes. The orange cashew chicken had many fresh vegetables and was good, but was milder and less interesting in flavour than the green curry (which was on the sweeter side, but so beautifully balanced). The spring rolls are small and have a filling of cabbage mostly, so they werent something we would personally order again. But, everything else blew my mind away. Having been to Southern Thailand before, this was personally my favorite iteration of thum yum. I cannot wait to order it again from Noi Thai. The coconut soup was mild, with fragrant but light notes of lemongrass. It was very refreshing and something we are already craving. 10/10 recommend checking out this place for the aforementioned dishes and the lovely older gentleman who seems to run the show himself and offers good service and grub. :) P.S. For what we got for the Chinatown Dining Week special, we were shocked at how much food we got!
The owners are very friendly and provide a pleasant experience. The food, however, falls short. I feel like they dont put alot of effort into making lip-smacking Thai and Laotian food. After dining here atleast once every year since 2019, not alot has changed at all. Curries are mostly overpowered by coconut milk. Pad Thai is runny and flavours are not balanced, again, overpowered by tamarind. I sadly always leave disappointed.
Lovely family run restaurant! Best Thai food I have eaten in Edmonton, good portions. Only complaint is I was excited for Mango rice however they were out due to mangos not being in season. We will definitely be returning!
Perfect for every thing!
Excellent! We preordered for a group of six for takeout and it was hot and fresh and delicious! Will order again!
owner is super kind food was delicious and great atmosphere! Food
My red curry was delicious. Service was fast and great.
Took my boyfriend on a date here, the staff were above and beyond friendly and delicious food. Not to mention great prices
I ordered the spicy noodles and it was great. This restaurant actually makes their food spicy when you ask for spicy which is not something I can say for all restaurants. The location is a little sketchy but there is parking available right in front of the restaurant. Would definitely go there again.
Best food in city
Cozy, great food and service. A hidden gem.
Had the curry noodles, seafood salad, and pad Thai. All were wonderful and flavorful. Red curry on the curry noodles has a nice level of heat and fragrance. Pad Thai hit all the right notes, and the seafood salad was a delight with a sneaky kick here and there. Best Thai food I have had in ages. Highly recommend.
Had the Tom yum, hell beef, satay and spring rolls. All delicious, our new favourite Thai restaurant in Edmonton
The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Will definitely order from here again. The drunken noodles and pad Thai were actually spicy!
I ve been here a few times and the food is always outstanding! Will definitely be coming back the next time I m in Edmonton.
What a fantastic meal, served by the kindest man! Highly recommend!!
Food there was amazing. It is delicious. Large portions. Pleasant interior. The best restaurant I tried in Edmonton.
Best chicken satay in town! Seriously delicious. Deep coconut flavour. Wonderful.
Excellent food
We came from out of town looking for a great Thai restaurant near where we had an appointment. After reading reviews of several places we picked Noi Thai based on other reviews. We were a little nervous considering the part of town and hole in the wall appearance but took a chance anyway. WOW are we ever glad we did!! Absolutely everything we chose was fabulous!! The crisp cream cheese crab bites were delightful, the coconut soup, coconut rice and chicken cashew were tasty and fresh. The chicken in all dishes tasted like the chicken we ate growing up, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, the sauces just right. I regret not taking photos but we were so enthralled that we had dug in before we even thought of it! The best part though is this We had brought an insulated bag to take our meal home to eat which we did. Our drive home was 45 minutes and it was an hour before we actually sat down to eat. Our food was still beautifully warm and tasty and the leftovers next day were great too. For my husband and I we spent just over $50 (including tip) and had enough for 2 meals each. Great value and fabulous food! We will definitely make the trip back to Noi Thai next time we are in Edmonton!
Very peaceful meal preparation was great and very well prepared
Went for lunch. The green curry was well worth 5 stars. Arroy mak mak. Will be back to try the full menu
Beautiful food and beautiful service and reasonable prices. We had the pad Thai, green curry, drunken noodles and coconut rice. What a wonderful surprise, will definitely go back!
Friendly, clean, and food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Well worth a visit
I had green curry with beef and small size steamed rice. It was super tasty and flavourful The place was clean and nice as well. I d absolutely visit again and try other dishes!
All the food was excellent! And served very quickly. If you like Thai this is the place. Food
Great little restaurant serving amazing Thai food. The Drunken Noodles were absolutely divine, some amazing flavours in that dish that work perfectly together. We also tried the chicken and beef masaman curries, which were spectacular with the coconut rice. All the food was served fresh and so quickly from the time we ordered. If youre looking for excellent authentic Thai food at good prices you should definitely stop by!
Amazing fresh, quality food.. with authentic home made flavors. Best Thai food in the city. Cute family run restaurant. Dietary restrictions: The owner was very friendly and accommodating about my food allergy.
Tasty thai food at a reasonable price, and convenient location downtown too. Recommended.
Very happy we came here!
Amazing place small but delicious everyone should come here the red curry is delicious!
Love the friendly owner and their family. Food is great and cheap! Tasty stir fries and curry. I will keep on supporting them!
Food was tasty. Price per portion could be better, for a party of 4 i believe the dishes we purchased were adequate but dont expect leftovers like other places. Although the panang curry was good i wished they had more variety in veggies, just a personal preference. The pad thai was ok, i found it somewhat lacking something not sure what it needed maybe more of a tamarind flavour or some umami, just couldnt figure out their recipe. The thai samosas were good! We found parking even though parking was quite full so i could see this being an issue, depending on certain times. We went here on a saturday around 5pm. If you are in the neighborhood and want thai food give them a try!
Hole in the wall, but satisfying food and lovely service. Lunch menu is pretty basic, but has the classics, so no complaints there.
Our family personally declare Noi Thai the best in the city! Portions are very fair and worth it!! We ordered the red wine shrimp (to die for!!), pad thai, green curry, 2 large coconut rice (huge amounts so one order would ve been lots but leftovers are great), drunken noodles and of course the roti rolls (intoxicatingly good!! - barely had tummy room to eat them but oh my goodness, yum!). We used to order from 2 other commonly known Thai places and their portions were cut in half and prices raised substantially so we re thrilled to have found Noi. The meats were lean, fresh and tender!! Our little family with huge appetites for great food thank you for the most delicious dinner we ve had in some time! We have plenty of leftovers for another night. Superb, tasty and highly recommended! When my husband picked up food, he said he was greeted with very friendly people too. Also, given I ordered at 8 pm, the food was ready for pick up in 30 min! 10/10 rating from us!!
Best pad Thai Ive had! Customer service was prompt and pleasant. Thank you so much!
The smells coming out of the kitchen makes your mouth water. We tried there green curry chicken, basil beef and coconut rice. One of the best Thai restaurants I have tried in Edmonton.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent
The best Thai food I ve ever had. The red curry was, chefs kiss. The sweetest little family(I assume) took our order and served us. We ll definitely go back.
We had an amazing meal of very tasty Thai food, much fresher and aromatic than the usual fare. Restaurant is clean, service was brisk and helpful and Noi looks like a great takeout option! 5 stars! Dietary restrictions: Chef & server was very helpful about gluten free options.
I ve lived in and around Little Italy for 15 years and somehow passed right by this hidden gem a hundred times. The best Thai cuisine has to offer. Gluten free options for celiacs like me! Owner is very friendly and a skilled cook. Food is out very fast (15-20 mins avg) but is the freshest thai I ve had. Light and aromatic, simple but delicious. I recommend the curries! Please support a local family owned business; especially for sit down meals. Just lock your car doors! Sadly the neighbourhood has deteriorated.
Incredible Pad Thai and a beautiful small restaurant. I will definitely be back to try more!
I usually get takeout here. One of the most underrated Thai restaurants in Edmonton. Solid flavour and portion for a decent price. I love their Crispy Cream Cheese Avocado appetizer. Drunken noodle and pad thai are also good. Tom Yum was on the sweet/sour side, so I didnt really like it since I like it spicier.
This place is underrated! Food is superb. The dishes remind me of travelling in Thailand. Kind staff and great service.
Delicious food! The yellow curry and drunken noodles were standouts. Very nice service.
Just came from Noi for supper and as always, this restaurant never disappoints. Tonight, other than my usual order of Cream Cheese Wanton, Stuffed Tofu, Crispy Garlic Shrimp, Coconut Soup and Rice... I wanted to try out their desserts. I loved how simple yet verytasty their Roti and Banana Envelope with Ice Cream was. Really delish!!! Another thing that I love about this place is Noi, the owner... he made sure that our dining experience is always pleasant. Thanks Noi! If you are in Edmonton area, pls swing by Nois Thai Restaurant. They offer dine in, pick up and delivery.
The best restaurant in Edmonton! The food is fantastic!
Noi is one of those secret gems! Run by his owner Noi and wife! The most flavorful and Authentic Thai food I have tried in Edmonton. Noi s sister runs Viphalay. The greatest food recipes come from their knowledge and family traditions. A must try for Edmontonians. I am a faithful customer at Noi, always greeted with smiles and fabulous service! Go visit, you won t be disappointed and you will find yourself coming back for more and bringing friends too.
Banging Thai food! Green curry and drunken noodles were super good! Good spice too. If you left a review saying you got skip the dishes then you didnt get the same food simply because you got it from Skip the dishes vs. going in and getting the food fresh lol
Best place in town for Thai food. Try the Drunken Noodle Chicken medium spicy...great the next day and Pad Thai is excellent as well. Owner and his wife deserve local support as pandemic has been difficult for them. Always friendly and always remembers you. 5 stars
Very nice service with some of the best drunken noodles Ive had ever, red curry was spices to perfection Thank you so much
What a wonderful and cozy place! We had an absolutely amazing dinner with kids yesterday. The owner was so nice and helpful. Spicy noodles and drunken noodles were delicious, and their tom yum is simply the best. We also tried one of the desserts, and loved it. Thank you!
As a Thai, this hidden gem offers authentic Thai food and good portion.
not bad wish it had more flavor though, a bit watery but not bad
Great place for dinner
Food was fresh and hot. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable
Every single time I visit Noi, the food is hot and delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the service from Noi is genuine and kind. Love the pad Thai and the cream cheese crab bites are incredible. Actually, everything I ve ever ordered has been absolutely delicious. Thank you Noi and Noi staff.
The most beautiful & delicious salad rolls! Plus tasty pad thai, stuffed tofu, coconut rice and roti rolls. The owners are lovely too. My husband and I use to frequent this spot when it was Viphalay. Noi Thai is just as good! We ll be back.
The food here is always excellent.
Consistently amazing food. Red wine shrimp, pad Thai, green curry, and basil stir fry are among my favorites. The family that owns and operates the restaurant are really pleasant.
This is a hole in the wall type of restaurant. Food is simply unreal, price is fair and service is fast. Had a take out and we loved every item. This is my new go to Thai food place
Very good quality. Authentic Thai restaurant. Very good cook. Price very good for the quality.
A good place to have awesome Thai food. The owner is very warm and welcoming. He takes care of all the instructions given and consider it. We ordered Tom Yum soup, Spice Noodles and Green onion cake. Everything was next to perfect. The food, flovour, spice level etc. This was our second time and It would continue. Thanks
Delicious food & friendly service. Will definitely be back Food
A hidden jem and from someone who has traveled extensively in Thailand, this place wont disappoint.
The food are delicious. The service is the best. Very kind and friendly! Highly recommend this restaurant
Really tasty food. Staff very friendly
Delicious
Went in for Pad Thai and had a sampler plate, red curry, chicken satay, and coconut rice as well. The food was most excellent, the dining room was spotless, and the service was great. Would definately go back.
Amazing food. Quick service and everything is fresh. Great pricing too.
hands down the best thai food in edmonton. delicious as dine in or take out
Absolutely delicious food! We had the red curry, coconut rice, and spring rolls. We were too hungry to take pics but it was great. Super flavourful and fresh. We had wonderful service in the restaurant. There is also a gorgeous mural. Definitely coming back here! Vegetarian options: Tofu options for the curries
Great Thai food I ve ever had in Edmonton
The place is clean, I ordered red curry and Tom Yum soup from the lunch menu. The curry and spring roll was very tasty. You will need lots rice to go with it. Personally think the soup is okay, I may try other soups next time. Overall, I would recommend you to visit this restaurant.
Awesome food! Best Thai food in town. You wont regret about it.... Dont hesitate and try!!!
Had a delicious meal, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was open but pleasant. They also wrap their takeout until you pick up so that it is extra warm. Would definitely dine here again. Kid-friendliness: Had my three children with me and they accommodated for their spice tolerance and were very welcoming.
Im very disappointed, their hours said open so we drove across town to have lunch and turns out theyre closed. I saw others having the same misfortune. Beware, they are not open at 12:30 on Saturdays
Had a delightful meal here. The curries were delicious, particularly the seafood. The service was great as well. A definite keeper!
Excellent food and good value. We enjoy every meal ordered from here.
Flavours are fine but we ordered a curry and a stirfry and yet didnt have any rice or anything included to enjoy the dishes with. Considering there wasnt an option to add rice, I am quite disapointed without having a starch to enjoy these dishes with. Knocked off 2 star because we need to go out and pickup rice from a local restaurant. Flavours were pretty mild. We ordered from here because my friend said the flavours were very authentic.
We were craving Thai food after living in Thailand, and Noi Thai did not disappoint! We enjoyed pad Thai, vegetable spring rolls, satay, spicy basil chicken stir fry and green curry with chicken. Just amazing! Highly recommend you giving this place a try. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and variety.
Got take out from here. Got a green curry and pad Thai. The pad Thai was lacking the sweet and sour flavour. The green curry was decent.
Charming place, great food, nice folks, took care of us well - we had a wonderful lunch. Choosing from numerous choices, all of the plates were impeccable and delicious.
Quiet on a Sunday evening, food was ready so fast! I had the red curry with coconut rice, and it was amazing!
food looks good yanamor would be ordering skip the dish for this if it wasent 1 am -- very distracting while i work
Our Friday lunch go to! Friendly staff and fantastic food. Very tasty
Great food. Wonderful and friendly service. Will be back !
Very tasty food, nice place and good, friendly service. Loved their pad thai! Red curry spicy but not hot, salad rolls great. Fair prices. Will go there again for sure.
nice place
Got the pad thai tonight and its fantastic.
Food was very good. Lots of flavor! Will order from again!
Great food and service. Had takeout this time.
Red wine shrimp. Get it. You wont be disappointed.
My favorite Thai place in Edmonton. Giant portions for great prices.
Was never there,...
Excellent food and great service. Support local.
This place is fantastic, tomyum is delicious, so as papaya salad. The closest taste of tomyum in Thailand! Super friendly service and relaxing place. Hope they will have more and more customers come and enjoy the Thai authentic and support this business!
Delicious. Simple menu. Great flavours
Great food great service great price
Delicious curries and fast delivery. Coconut rice and curry were still hot/warm when the delivery arrived.
Solid Authentic Thai food. Salad rolls were tremendous. Having a mint leaf in each salad roll is a pro play. Good job !
An excellent lunch today at the Noi, Laotian/Thai Restaurant on 107th and 95 St. The ambience and staff add to the authentic, tantalizing flavours of the dishes on the lunch menu - Tom Yum soup, with lemon grass/ginger/chili; green curry, stir fry with cashews and vegetables, coconut rice. Spring rolls served also. The delicate blend of spices and aromatics with broccoli, zucchini, green peppers and sugar peas in the dishes we had were an absolute delight for our palate; I highly recommend this original eatery in the McCauley area!
Best authentic thai food in the city. I Have been to Thailand as well. Big portions and great service.
We drove past this Thai restaurant everyday for years and had no idea about this place. Upon entering the first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. Then as we sat down our waiter grabbed us some water as he handed us the menus. We had several different dishes here and each of them were well portioned, tasty, and all the right kind of spicy. Prices are more than fair and they even packed our food in take out boxes for us to take home. This is by far the most authentic Thai restaurant Ive ever eaten at and we will be ordering from here again in the near future.
Family owned restaurant. Food is delicious, reasonable portion, should give them a try. Small place but should have no problem walking in.
Was working for a few days in the area...Tried almost everything on the lunch menu....was not disappointed.... excellent taste and price
Used to go here all the time when it was called Viphalay. Its name (maybe management too) changed but the food is the exact same - amazing. Their curries are great, pad Thai is really good and it usually comes out pretty fast.
Best Thai food ever !!
This is such a gem. Not only was the food delicious, it is quite evident that the owner takes great pride in his work. It s impeccably clean, has great service and it reminded me of my amazing trip to Thailand so many years ago.
Was ok, certainly not the best Thai in town. The coconut soup was very watery, with little flavour.
Unmemorable food - which says a lot.
So happy we found this restaurant! The food is amazing quality, the owners are so kind, we have found our new fave Thai restaurant in YEG!
What a hidden gem that is super stunning on the inside, the decor is something else. I truly love it, first time eating Thai food. I had drunken noodles, wow! Was that amazing!! Noi is such a great host aswell, super kind and funny. Definitely a place you have to checkout if you are new or staying in Edmonton. The art work in itself is worth just waking in. I personally like a clean, neat bathroom aswell. I am coming here more each time I am in town. Highly recommend! Thank you Noi
The food we ordered for pickup was amazing! The service was top notch from the gentleman who was working alone. Sanitizer at the counter. If you are looking for a great dish please support this man and his family. He makes wonderful food.
Only learned about this place by meeting someone there today, without a doubt some of the best Pad Thai Ive ever had and its super convenient, definitely recommend and very good service
Best thai ive had in a long time! we ordered tom yum soup, yellow chicken curry and pad Thai! Everything was great! It was a cozy atmosphere! But that was even better then the food was the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant! The man who assisted us was kind and accommodating. He ensured our experience was great from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. Thank you so much for our experience today!
Never disappointed when I eat in or take out. Staff is very friendly.
Great pad Thai and yellow curry
Ordered some takeaway from this place just today. Smelled great on the drive home, and tasted even better once there. Id definitely order from this place again :)
Alright
The food here is so amazing! We had the pad Thai, red curry with veggies and green curry with chicken. All made GLUTEN FREE! It feels so good to support a local business in Edmonton. The portions are huge and it was very flavorful authentic Thai cuisine.
Moved close to the place so I thought Id try it out. The prices are really good and everything Ive tried so far has been delicious. Definitely worth checking out
Amazing food and service! From the moment we walked in it smelled great and felt welcoming. We had the curry noodles and the drunken noodles, and green onion cakes to start, all really good. A bit spicy but nothing over the top. Good prices and great service.
Excellent food at a fair price. Good portion sizes. Family owned and run. This restaurant is worth your support during these times. Get the Pad Thai!
A blend of amazing flavor and very nice owner. The best Thai place I have been to
Great Thai food and a hidden gem that more locals need to check out. Love the red curry!! Great portion sizes and price!! Never a bad meal! Family owned!!
The prices, menu, and food quality are comparable to other Thai restaurants. The green curry is a must try (its spicy though so try at your own risk). The owner is super nice and gave our group awesome suggestions on what to try.
Everything was tasty. Green curry, coconut rice, drunken noodles and spicy beef recommended.
Excellent service and food!
Delicious authentic Thai dishes with fantastic service. Highly recommend!
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Decor is cute, cozy. Food came fast, owner very polite - made great suggestions. Everything was so tasty. Only downfall, is when the door opens, you get a cold draft - should maybe put a room divider there. Found out this family is part of the Viphalany family :)
Delightful.. friendly... A true must.. A diamond in the ruff of the city...
Love this place. Local family owned and there s nothing on the menu that isn t delicious. Definitely recommend trying it!
Fresh food with lots of options. The appetizer sampler platter is the perfect starter for 4 people. Red wine shrimp is to die for. The Tom Yum soup tasted homemade and was not very oily like Ive had at other Thai restaurants. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff. Fast and delicious food. Plenty of options to select from all very tasty. Portions are perfect for sharing. It should be busier than it is. This place is a gem if you are looking for a quiet evening with a friend(s).
Food delicious and service exceptional
Ate their take out with my girlfriend, and we really enjoyed it. Green curry, cashew chicken, and coconut rice were all excellent.
Great food and friendly service.
Ordered this from skip the dishes. Overall okay but the green curry is a bit bland and not a huge variety of vegetables. Had about 3 chicken pieces in it. Syphay on 104th is still my go to
Wicked food. Nice staff. Lovely atmosphere. Great place to relax and eat some awesome food.
Great curries, Pad Thai, and noodles here. The dishes are reasonably priced for the large portion sizes provided.
Cute little hidden gem, excellent food with a great price point! Basil Chicken special was to die for!
One of Edmontons hidden gem restaurants. If you want amazing service and delicious food, I highly recommend this place for Thai.
Real Thai food, I hope next time we will get to hear the Thai music. Lol.... Do your self a favour and treat your self for a nice meal. I recommend the coconut soup!
After spending some time in Thailand we were craving real authentic thai food and after visits to several places in the city nothing came close....this place however was a WINNER!! the tom yum tasted like tom yum (minus no oyster mushrooms; but was still amazing), spring rolls were tasty and homemade and the papaya salad was so authentic, spicy and delicious!! we will be back!
This is not only a fantastic Thai restaurant, but one of the most reasonable dining experiences in the city. My vote for the best value for dollar restaurant in Edmonton.
This is our absolute favourite Thai place in the city. Delicious food, super friendly and efficient service. We always get the Red Wine Shrimp, Drunken Noodles, Green Curry with Chicken and for dessert the Roti Rolls. Very yummy!! Highly recommend.
Fantastic food! Craving Thai Saturday evening, Oct. 26 and based on reviews we had read online we picked Noi Thai. The green curry is a must have! The cashew chicken, pad thai and coconut rice were all delicious, we had enough food for 3 meals. At the end of the meal it was then that we found out that Noi Thai won Edmontons best restaurant 2018 and after reading the Where magazine this weekend saw that they were mentioned again in 2019. The owner is very sweet, the service was awesome and all items are reasonably priced, we will be back!
Lovley all around
I love the place, family-friendly atmosphere and excellent thai food. Every dish is great value for the price.
Excellent food!
Such good, authentic flavours! The panang curry is my favorite, with coconut sticky rice!
Delish!! First time ordering I got my favourite Thai dish, green Thai curry. Perfection!! Paired it with the coconut rice and a side of crispy wonton shrimp & avo. It was all very good. I will return!
Excellent food loved the curry noodle and my brother loved his glass noodle salad 2nd best hes had
Yay! A welcomed addition to the Vilphalay family here in Edmonton. The pad thai and tamarind chicken is great! I will be back for curry :) :) Almost the same menu as before. Management is great, extreme CLEAN location. Gorgeous spot with perfect customer service. I suggest calling in or going in for take out over the stupid apps.
Very good Pad Thai and nice staff!
