From the Big Mac to the Quarter Pounder, we have been serving smiles and memories, coast-to-coast, since 1967.
I have realistic expectations for any McDonald’s. It’s cheap, it’s busy, and you get what you pay for…totally fair. But when items are barely wrapped and just tossed into the bag, boxes of cold fries turned upside down, and food missing the standard toppings, even for cheap fast food it seems like a total waste of money. But the worst part was that it was one of the filthiest McDonald’s (or any fast food restaurants) I’ve ever seen. The lobby, the washrooms (which looks like they may have actually never ever been attended to), the overflowing garbage cans..all when there appeared to be plenty of extra staff during a not very busy period at night. I won’t write a bad review when someone screws up - people make mistakes..it’s fine. But when a place like this seemingly has a lot of issues going on, it’s probably worth warning others. Ray Kroc would be ashamed!
Worst location. No standard at all. Ordered a sandwich and they made this. No idea who is giving them training but they should get trained themselves first
When I went to order in the drive thru, the employee began in French, which is fine, and asked what would I like (paraphrasing). In English, I asked for a Big Mac. They then said, “sorry, we are closed” in English. It’s a 24 hour location… I can’t be certain if it was because I asked in English, but I don’t see another reason. Other people behind us were still ordering. New Brunswick is bilingual. I should be able to order in English. Even if their English isn’t good, they could have attempted and I could have said “combo un”. There was a way this interaction could have been positive I have to give service 0, since I did not receive any. I can’t speak for the food or anything else. I’m disappointed that Canadians discriminate against each other.
even tho New Brunswick is a bilingual province, French is still the most popular language in this city. But everyone can speak English in the store. I met a friendly senior lady there and we had a short but good conversation. Beautiful memory here.
This is the filthiest mcdonalds ive ever seen. There was vomit in the family bathroom sink. Toilet paper all over the floors, pee on the toilet seat, and flies in the bathroom. No handsoap in the mens bathroom. The floors looked like they havent been swept in months. The chairs were sticky and the tables had dried sauce on them.
Visited this place last year and they had no doors on the bathrooms. Things have improved greatly. All bathrooms were clean and had doors. The only thing that was missing was the chicken in my chicken burger. All pkg up and pushed out the drive. No going to turn back 10km just to say hay I am missing my chicken. Maybe next year. Can't wait to see what happens.
On Tuesday July 16th I was travelling through NB with my brother and his family We stopped at this Mcds and proceeded to place our order which we did online This location was clean, had fast service, playground for the kids, friendly workers who were fluent in both English and French More Provinces should be! The service was top notch but my review here is not just for the service I want to speak to the integrity of the managers and customers. I had mistakenly left my purse behind with many critical items within, $$, cell, etc We drove right back when I abruptly realized it was missing. Once in the parking lot I saw a manager out walking through the parking lot clearly looking for someone or something The customer that helped to make sure the management knew pertinent info about us really helped to safe guard my purse I’m sorry I didn’t get all of the names involved but I will get it from my brother Everything was still in my purse and the manager did not accept a gift of $$ to say thank you I highly recommend supporting this location and make sure you take note of the service in order to give them the credit due!!!! These days it’s hard to find a service that covers so many aspects Thank You, Fellow Canadian Citizen 🤗
Our food was hot 🔥 fresh My coffee was great Sadly, doors were locked..
Ordered a poutine and not given a fork Pitiful performance for travelers
Drive thru fast polite service
Quick dinner presto... my hotel does not have a restaurant. The children wanted to end their trip with a visit to McDonalds. Friendly branch due for renovation if I look at the new dining room designs. Few branches have stairs to access the restaurant. Meeethank you!
Need more english speaking staff and best food in morning and 1am
Nothing says Im a divorced dad like mcrons 5 days a week...what an establishment Kid-friendliness: They hate my kids
Slow drive-thru every single time
Its fast food Its never gonna be spectacular Food
They were closed at 3:45 a.m., but its 24 h
It was a very busy place, It took a lot of time to get the order.
A really bad experience I took a meduim smothie it was charged 3 times I asked for a refund it was charged for the 4 I dont recommend eating elsewhere
I was able to purchase a meal on my bike through the drive thru order window after in-store purchasing had closed. Thats not always a guarantee, so I was happy to be served .
Exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of this chain. Parking: There is as much parking as needed, the restaurant is adjacent to a shopping center. Kid-friendliness: Like all McDonalds, children find what theyre looking for.
Very busy inside and the drive thru but worth the wait.
Well Mc do c Mc do chemicals and poison
Nice snack !
History of the building Bati even has so many castle Frontenac Quebec beautiful cambric
The staff was very motivated. But there food was very good. The staff was not very motivated. But the food was very good.
Kid-friendliness: The establishment is suitable for welcoming children like most Mc Donalds
A Gastronomic Journey at McDonald s in Edmunston, New Brunswick Featuring John and His Majestic Hair Ah, McDonalds the golden arches that promise comfort, consistency, and calories. But let me tell you, the McDonalds in Edmunston, New Brunswick, is no ordinary fast-food joint. It s a culinary odyssey, a whirlwind of flavor, and, most importantly, it s home to John the man, the myth, the legend, and his unforgettable hair. Let s dive right in, starting with the star of any McDonald s experience: the fries. These are not just fries; these are golden sticks of pure joy. The fries at the Edmunston McDonalds are so perfectly crispy that they practically shatter upon contact with your teeth, sending a flurry of salty, potato-y goodness directly to your brain s pleasure center. I m convinced they have a secret fry whisperer in the back who coaxes each potato into achieving its peak performance. And then there s the salt just the right amount to keep you reaching back into that paper bag like it holds the secrets of the universe. Now, let s talk Big Mac. This towering titan of fast food is everything you want it to be and more. The buns are soft and slightly sweet, cradling the two beef patties like they re precious cargo. The patties themselves juicy, flavorful, and charred just enough to make you forget that this is, in fact, fast food and not some gourmet creation from a Michelin-starred chef. And the sauce! The special sauce is like liquid gold, a magical concoction that elevates the entire experience from pretty good to I think I just heard angels sing. Every bite is a perfect balance of meat, cheese, lettuce, pickles, and onions, all working together in a symphony of flavors that can only be described as a Big Mac aria. But no meal at this Edmunston McDonald s would be complete without the pièce de résistance: the fountain Diet Coke. I don t know what kind of wizardry is happening with their soda machine, but this Diet Coke is next-level. The carbonation is so perfectly tuned that it dances on your tongue like a fizzy little ballet. It s crisp, it s refreshing, and it s cold enough to make you feel alive again, even after a long day on the Trans-Canada Highway. This isn t just Diet Coke; this is the nectar of the fast-food gods. Now, I must give a special shout-out to the man who made this experience truly unforgettable: John, the server with the hair that defies logic and gravity. John greeted me with a smile that could melt the polar ice caps, but I couldn t help but be mesmerized by his hair. It was a true work of art, a chaotic masterpiece that seemed to have a life of its own. Was it styled that way on purpose? Was it the result of a wild windstorm? Did he lose a bet? The world may never know. But one thing is certain John s hair is as memorable as the Big Mac, and I mean that as the highest compliment. As John handed me my bag of food, his hair seemed to wave in acknowledgment, as if it knew we were both about to embark on a journey of culinary bliss. And let me tell you, John was efficient despite what must have been the daily battle with his hair, he had my order ready in record time. A true professional. In conclusion, the McDonalds in Edmunston, New Brunswick, isn t just a place to grab a quick bite it s an experience. From the world-class fries to the life-changing Big Mac, to the fountain Diet Coke that belongs in a museum, every moment was pure, unadulterated fast-food joy. And John, with his extraordinary hair, was the cherry on top of this deliciously bizarre sundae. If you ever find yourself in Edmunston, do yourself a favor and visit this McDonald s. Your taste buds will thank you.
Tried to get a coffee and the door was locked? 6:15am
I liked everything
It normally doubles big mac on Thursday 06/27/2024 at 00:00
Classic micky Ds
Very busy, but the kids liked the play place.
Own
I didnt go to McDonalds
I came at 1:52 a.m., the drive thru is closed although in the 24/7 system
During coming back home from Montreal, it was a good place for food and rest
Did not get my fries
Always good, nice menu choice
Stop here all the time on way to and from NFLD convenient and kids enjoy only issue is close early
Coming back from Ontario, always stop here, fast and friendly staff.
Like most MacDs restaurants, the service is fast and polite. The food, well its a fast food joint. The food is what it is. Its not bad but its also not the healthiest. Check your order when you go through the Drive-Thru. They tend to have issues (wrong order, missing items, ...). The dining area was clean.
We stopped in driving enroute to Ns. Took forever to get order. 15 min. And the place was so dirty! Never seen a McDonalds so dirty. By drink station, washrooms too. It was late at night.
Slow as hell service is realy slow
The Mc Donalds at Edmunston N.B. gave us the wrong order and refused to give us the right one, despite the fact that weve already ordered and PAYED for it. Weve ordered the 2 apple pie for 1.99$ at the McPicks section and weve selected the quantity of the deal x2 for a total of 4. The employee who was indian gave us only 2 for this time, despite the fact that the price was far more superior than the 1.99$ plus tax. Ive confronted the indian employee about it that weve ordered and payed for the 4 apple pies. Could be maybe a severe flaw in the Mc Donalds order machine. The fact is, the employee did not want to resolve the matter or refund the difference of the overpriced charge. Nor did we get the 2 extra ones that weve ordered in the first place. Weve left knowing that weve payed for something and never received it. I know its a couple of extra lost dollars, but if that flaw keeps on repeating itself, I will advise all other customers to be extra cautious going to that Mc Donalds @Edmunston N.B.
Great option for a quick bite.
Clean place, fast service and efficient staff, this McDonalds is really good.
I had a great experience with McDonalds
It was okay 1/4 with cheese meal fries had been sitting a while. No vinegar. Staff was pleasant.
Fast and efficient
I went here, especially at the drive-thru, I ordered an iced tea with a little ice, the employees who served me that day were very friendly and polite, the order was correct and my drink tasted perfectly sweet . Plus, there was a bit of a wait, not too much. Parking: Very large parking lot.
We waited 25 minutes for our food. They were short staffed, but the manager really had no idea to allocate work . The place was very busy, and you may want to think twice about eating here.
Its a McDonalds.. food is edible and you get what you for. Food was hot and coffee was very good and hot. Place was clean.
I just drink because to expensive....
Small mistake on our order, they forgot an item, but it was quickly and easily corrected. Friendly staff and the restaurant and bathroom was clean.
Smile gang! The job is better than any other place here in town ^&*
Nice place to socialize Kid-friendliness: Childrens party room
Just got coffee Parking: Lots Food : 4/5 |
Super service, lots of staff, excellent food for à McDonalds
Super busy but the service was extremely fast!! I only had about 20 minutes for lunch and I was super happy with the short amount of time I had to wait. I thought I would be waiting for way longer but the staff was fast and efficient! Great job!!
Great halfway place to stop on the way to Montreal from Fredericton
Not very clean
Absolutely horrible experience. They kept passing around the headset and no one could take our order and repeatedly said huh? We even tried just saying the number of the meals we want and nothing. If your in a border town at the very least have one employee who can understand English. Ive never had a problem ordering food even deep in quebec. We finally gave up and got stuck in the drive thru. Would not recommend this location if your from Ontario or any other mainly English speaking province.
Prompt and friendly service. The food is what you expect from McDonalds; consistently the same quality, served warm and fresh, but be careful as you pull out of this establishment as their advertisements poster boards get in the way of driving out safely onto an extremely busy street. And the drive out sign and garbage can could easily be located elsewhere. Anyways! Drive out safely.. But I have no other beef with this place.
I have never been to a McDonalds this SLOW. Its been 2 times I go there and I wait at least 20 minutes to order and another 15 minutes to receive the order. I understand the situation of lack of people but in the kitchens there is no movement and no one is rushing.
Hard time to communicate if you don t speak French
This location is extremely busy. I did not eat here, but had little children who got food here. I went to use the washroom. When I entered, a staff member was wiping the sink top. I proceeded to the stalls and they were very dirty. There were flies 3-5 flies buzzing around, sanitary pads pouring outside of the sanitary pad container, and odours no one would want to be near. I was disappointed that someone cleaning the sink top did not clean the rest of the stalls. I washed my hands and left. I could not find a manager to let them know.
RACISTS!!!!
If youre on point with the app you can be in and out with a pee and pickup your iced coffees and back on the highway in five minutes.
French only
Really dirty restaurant inside
since the closure of the provincial reseption facility at the NB border this is the go to spot for a needed rest break.
As usual. Pretty clean inside. We ordered meal for 4 people and they forgot to put 3 fries in the box. I think i need to have a habit to check every order in Macdonalds. Food : 5/5
Several mistakes to make a simple tea and of all the McDonalds that I have done to date, it is he who wins for the messiest toilets. Dirty floors, lots of flies, broken paper holder and roll of paper on the floor.
Drive thru was fast and efficient. However, the bathrooms were dirty and there were flies everywhere.
Typical McD food but we were missing items. Realised after we were 30 minutes away
Very clean but no smile
McDonalds is good, I like it with an apple turnover...
The food was hot and fresh everything was pre made.
A good enough McDonalds. Although they seem to get orders wrong frequently. I usually order with the contactless screen, so there should be no room for miscommunication for ordering. They either get your order wrong, miss something in your order, or give you something completely different.
2 of us got food poisoning and were pretty sure it was from this McDonalds. Service was also pretty slow
Quiet place
A good rest stop during the trip, where children can play in the playground. There are a lot of people, there are several self-service ordering machines, and the salads are fresh
Very slow to look after walk ins
Mcdo to go
all they did was talk, ignored me
Kid-friendliness: Play Place Inside Food
Hallways something missing in the drive tru bags! CHEC BEFORE YOU GO IS A MUST!
Nice place to eat with families
Its amazing how good and delicious the food is
Worst McDonalds ever. The service was terrible . The order was wrong 3 times. I ended up taking it as it was as they all stared at me if I was nuts.. .I was disgusted knowing the manager was right there and looked at me like i had 3 eyes.
It is a good place. Nice place for take out or dine in
Disgusting, absolutely disgusting. I was passing through Edmundston on my way to Fredericton and stopped at McDonalds for something to eat. I ordered a 1/4 with cheese, extra pickle, and a large fry. Instead, I was given a McDouble. I tried to get it fixed, but the manager (she wore glasses) stared at me like I was crazy. After 5 minutes of trying to get the order fixed, I still had the receipt. Someone else actually took the time to look at my order and fix it. But thats not the end of it. When I sat down to eat, there were moldy, old crystal fries, pickles, and burgers stuffed between the seats. Greasy handprints were all over the chairs. The bathrooms stank like piss, with black marks all over the base of the floors and dirt in every corner. The health inspector needs to check this place out; its a 0 out of 10.
Nothing to say
Lobby is closed waaay too early. On a friday lobby is closed at 1am. ONLY DRIVE THRU.... sucks when u got an imaginary vehicle
Great deal for a quick breakfast: an egg McMuffin with cheese & a sausage pattie, plus a medium coffee; all for $4.
