Wow! Food, staff and service was impeccable! Worth the drive!

Good spot for dinner with the sunset The lobster and shrimp tartare was good On the other hand, the burger with Wagyu beef was disappointing for the price (26+tx+tip). Overcooked meat, could have been any type of beef. The fries that are supposed to be truffle flavored have absolutely no taste of truffle or parmesan. The local amber beer was good. The blueberry mocktail was really light in taste. Go there to have a drink

The food might be good. But I was walking my dog and talking to a lady on a bike walking path behind this restaurant where the people that work there have permission to park. Anyways, a lady drove right behind us that worked there. She didnt say a word or even a smile and was slowly driving up to us, basically pushing us off the walkway. Not a road, mind you. I called the restaurant and talked to her and explained how thats not cool, but she denied it and sort of laughed it off saying good day, sir. I guess pride and ego prevented her from even being apologetic. Its sad to see this behavior Im sure shes a great person, but come on, guys, just because you can park there doesnt mean you should be intimidating people on the walkway. Open your mouth or communicate your approach at least.

Extremely small roll for the price, leave me hungry, good taste but instead of fries I took the soup, a small bowl of 1 cup of soup, and a small hotdog bun that was very little filled, eat in 3 bites. At $22 I would have expected better

We had dinner at this charming restaurant on our travel stop in Edmundston NB. The food was delicious, serving size generous, and lots of choices. Service was friendly and efficient and we didn t feel rushed. It s a smaller sized restaurant so be prepared to wait if you go at a busy time.

My husband and I arrived and were seated in entrance, we asked if we could sit by the window and waitress said no. She said it was a table they keep for 4 people, 5 minutes afterwards a couple walked in and she placed them directly at that table, that is WRONG.. We ordered Fish/Chips, the fries were the frozen kind, fish was overcooked, and very dry parmesan cheese, what they call a coleslaw is a few strings of cabbage, disappointed...

We stopped at the park to play with our daughter after a few hours of driving. Very nice discovery. This restaurant is very well located, beautiful terrace and dining room. The menu and presentation of the meal is very, very good. We took take out to eat in the park while the little one was having fun so we didnt take a photo but I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Fish and Ship and Seafood Linguine Parking: parking in an easily accessible park.

NO PLOYES - We came specifically to try the ployes and after taking my order the waitress came back explaining that their plate was broken and that they no longer made ployes. No idea where we could go to eat it or the recipe... In short, not very nice there...

Beautiful view of the river. We ordered a classic lobster roll with a side of halloumi fries and a lobster poutine. While the lobster roll was on the small side, the lobster poutine is a big portion. It seems to be a bit on the expensive side for what you get, but I would go back to try a few more things. The waitresses were kind, but very busy, and hard to flag down (especially if you don t speak French). But there are English menus available and the waitresses spoke English as well if necessary.

Wonderful hidden gem in Edmundston. Great prices, portions, food quality & taste. Service was fast and very friendly. To top it off, the restaurant is set gorgeous location by the water. Will be visiting again in the future!

We love this restaurant, it is the best in our opinion! We have been there several times, even though it takes us an hour and a half to get there. The dishes are delicious, the service is perfect too! We recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

First and foremost, I usually only write positive reviews, so it takes a lot to see this side of me. But the dining experience at LEcluse left a mark and not in a good way. Beautiful location and fancy decor, if you dont mind the flies everywhere (from dining room to the bathrooms). I get that we are not French speakers, but our server could not be less welcoming. Likely this is just something we may have to get used to. Now the food. We ordered the ployes to try since it is a local dish and it was not bad. The salade burrata & peches was commendable, aside from the extremely salty sauce. Seafood linguine was mediocre where my son did not touch the salty mussels after the first one and he usually devours mussels by the dozens. And lastly, the ginger beef bowl was slathered with so much greasy dressing i could not palate more than a couple fork-fulls. Yes, i even tried scrapping some of the dressing off to the side. When i politely told our server i wish i knew they used that much dressing, her response was that is how they make it. Nice. I still tipped 10% but now asking myself why.

Nous sommes allé luncher et javoue que pour la première fois de ma vie, jai mangé une poutine. MAIS, une poutine au homard avec une sauce façon bisque. Totalement délicieux! Beau restaurant bien situé qui bénéficie dun très bel environnement et cest très propre. Belles assiettes bien présentées par des gens dexpérience qui travaillent avec le sourire.

Stopped here to have supper on our way to Nova Scotia. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. We ordered lobster roll, wings, crab dip, wings and fish and chips; food was pretty good. Would definitely go back.

After having had 2 excellent cocktails (non-alcoholic) in the middle of the afternoon we decided to come back for dinner the same evening... the welcome, the location and the dishes lived up to the ratings given by customers! And thanks to Antoine, a table neighbor for his conversation and friendliness!

Food was so good! Fish and chips are perfect. Not greasy. Brown butter lobster roll was not huge, but neither was the price! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was just right down by the water. So glad we stopped in!

Ho! My! Gawd! It was so good! The little domes are incredible, your little private restaurant with a super beautiful view of the city! Super recommend, despite being a little nervous in the dome today, but I think the situation was temporary! The menu is super good! I highly recommend going for a tour!

Felt like we were treated badly as we dont speak French. Waitress around us filling water glasses, refilling beer, taking other orders, asking if others were ok. We sat for almost 30 minutes after our meal was finished. Finally got our bill. Food excellent though!

We ate in the little domes and it was very nice! The lobster poutine is excellent and the prices are very affordable for the quality of the meal.

This hands down the best restaurant in Edmunston. A few veggie options and the halloumi fries were amazing. Vegetarian options: Halloumi bowl, Ceasar salad (no pancetta), Halloumi fries, soups etc...Excellent espresso and the carrot cake is delicious.

Small bistro on the water s edge. Super friendly staff, menu varied enough to please almost everyone, good value for money. We priced the regional specialty as a starter, the ployes, and the fish and chips. Light breading and fish cooked to perfection. Great discovery, we would return with pleasure.

Very difficult to order as you can t call them and the website doesn t cooperate well considering it s the only way to order takeout, however food was amazing and more than made up for the difficulty. Highly recommended

The thing to avoid is very poor baking so it uses a lot of liquid cream which makes things very greasy.

The restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious. I had the best chowder of my life. Service is quick as well. My only suggestion would be to make WiFi available to customers. I would have chosen this place as my go-to writing spot, but the lack of WiFi deters me from doing so. I did see the WiFi listed, but I was told there is no WiFi when I asked for a password.

We had the misfortune to be advised to come to this restaurant. The location is super. The wait staff are friendly. Its clean. However, we wanted to order a panni. But there was no bread, so we ordered a salad mac & cheese & poly. Other people came in ordered eat & paid before we got our meal. The salad was ok. My mac & cheese was cold & had to be heated. My friends poly was like a rubber mat. It was too tough to cut. I know thus was a specialist item, but it should have been edible. After all, it was a pancake.!!! Very disappointed. Trying not to believe it was because we were not french.

We got takeout, and then sat in the nearby park with our dog. The food was delicious, and it was really fun to try Acadian dishes - we had the ployes. They were fantastic. Recommend this place as a restaurant to try Acadian food in Edmunston. If you have a dog, and the weather is nice, its a place to get takeout food to enjoy in the adjacent park.

We ordered take out from here for the last leg of our Maritimes vacation. I can honestly say this was the best seafood we had the entire trip. Desserts were delicious and the mocktails were so refreshing! Staff were friendly at pick up and the prices were very fair for what we got. Thanks so much for a memorable meal!

The atmosphere was great, the server was nice, and the lemonade mocktail was to die for. The truffle fries were fantastic but both mine and my friends meals left something to be desired. The ginger beef bowl didn t have the slightest taste of ginger, I was really hoping for a punch of ginger taste, and there was not enough sauce. It s a nice size bowl but by the time I was half way done I needed salt and pepper to add flavour. My friends pesto panini was a little bland as well and needed more pesto, you could barely taste it. All in all it was a good experience but only the mocktail is something I would go back for.

Very good food. I recommend the arancini, lobster roll and fish and chips, from what my table ordered. I got the mussels, which were fresh, but not very tasty, not enough broth, the crusty bread was hard and dry, and the entire dish was cold. Everything else was great. Nice place, right by the river.

Excellent waitress, great atmosphere with unparalleled food.

We came for the atmosphere (right on the water, and we sat outside). Food was very good but not amazing, but what I really appreciated was the attentiveness of the staff, the overall cleanliness even outside, and the kid-friendliness. Hard to find a nice restaurant that caters well to families and they do it perfectly! An affordable kids menu, Cosco 5-pt harness high chair that was wiped clean when we got it, clean changing table in the bathroom, and the waitress brought him his own plastic cup of water. Would return! Kid-friendliness: High chair, changing table, kids menu, plastic water cups.

The food is exquisite! The portions are generous. The lobster roll in brown butter and the lobster poutine are must-haves. Local beers are served there. A must-see when youre in the area.

We stopped in here on our road trip because the reviews were good and the menu looked delicious. They did not disappoint! We had our young son with us and they were super considerate with offering to get his food ordered right away. They also had a great highchair (5 point harness with a footrest). We had the ployes, lobster roll, halloumi bowl and the kids grilled cheese and all were delicious and at good prices! Highly recommend!

Very good restaurant. You can stop there during a walk in the city of Edmundston or during a bike ride on the Petit Témis cycle path.

My family and I stopped in for lunch today. Both my husband and I ordered the bacon and lobster panini which was Fantastic!!! My husband upgraded to the lobster poutine which was so delicious. The food serving sizes were great. We also tried there blueberry basil lemonade, it was refreshing but to expensive for the amount you got in my opinion. We will definitely be back. Cant wait to try other things in the menu!

We went to this restaurant the day before last night for a birthday: very nice place, well located on the waters edge and... thats it because the rest is worthless. Here is the story: to begin with, a very ordinary welcome, a hello from the lips of the waitress (characteristic of the poor service in the region, we are starting to get used to it). We sit down, order our aperitifs then our dishes. At this moment, not eating cream, I ask the friendly waitress if there is any in the classic lobster roll and she immediately answers no . I doubt it, but taking care to add since you tell me that there is no cream in the classic lobster roll, Im going to take one, she leaves with our orders . After 15 minutes of waiting, our dishes arrived and, handing me my roll, the waitress said to me She (who is she, the person in the kitchen I suppose?) told me that there were sour cream in it. There, I am surprised and I say that unfortunately I have to refuse the dish. The waitress agrees, brings me the menu and suggests I choose something else. I then decide to have the mussels and fries. She tells me it wont take long, leaves for a few minutes then comes back saying theres also cream in this dish. The 3 other people at the table with me having started to eat, I became discouraged and said to let it go (my wife had shared her dish with me and I was also afraid of eating later or that the rest of my family would wait for me and they eat cold). The waitress leaves, then comes back a few seconds later telling me finally there is no cream in the molds. I tell him again to forget it, that Im completely mixed up, that it will be like that, that my wife and I share his dish. At this moment, I understand that the waitress doesnt understand anything, that she doesnt know what shes serving, that she doesnt care about us and I only have one hurry is to leave. Finally comes the moment where she gets rid of us by asking us if we want anything else: I politely answer that I want the bill, which she will take us quickly. Despite the lousy service, I still generously tip 5%. The waitress then literally changed color and left the table without a word. But the story doesnt end there. Indeed, it should be noted that apart from our aperitifs, we did not have a single glass of water at the table, NOTHING: we spent the meal without drinking. Additionally, my wife had a grilled cheese panini. After having finished it together (since she shared her dish with me!), we said to each other that it had very little taste and that the cheese was not grilled. Checking the ingredients of the latter in the car on the way back, we realized that we had had a grilled Haloumi panini (we did, however, see and smell the orange and that the cheese was not grilled) . Conclusion: failed birthday party because of the unsmiling and poorly polite waitress (glasses, tattoos on the forearms and gray t-shirt the day before last night), the fact that we had 3 dishes for 4 people, not glass of water and an error in our order which we realized afterwards. I THEREFORE VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND this restaurant, unless the service is not important to you, you are on a diet (my dish was low in calories, its ironic of course) or you want to eat something other than what you you ordered. Last point for the attention of our charming waitress: when you don t care so much about your work and your customers, you resign and do something else. 5% tip for such a failed birthday party is a very expensive price to pay. The beauty of it all is that despite the number of errors and poor service, the waitress did not apologize once. ONCE AGAIN, CATASTROPHIC EXPERIENCE: FLEE THIS PLACE, YOU WILL HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We took the ployes to share with a carafe of blue sangria and a half of beer. Then the lobster rolls arrived as well as the lobster arancini with truffle and parmesan fries. It was really good. The mac and cheese was delicious and the view is great. Very welcoming staff.

La nourriture est délicieuse et de bonne qualité. Leur limonade à la camerise ma favorite. Le service est aussi excellent et en plus doffrir de la nourriture et de bon breuvage ils ont aussi quelque produit en vrac et de la région en vente. Le seul négatif est quils ne sont pas ouvert le soir. Oh...la vue dehors est aussi très belle.

Good little healthy meal!

We had lunch at this restaurant and strongly recommend it! The staff was very friendly, the food was very refreshing and the interior decor was on point. The tables were made of wood and blue epoxy (made from a local artist). They represented a local river and certain tables even included blue epoxy waterfalls to image the actual falls along the river. From the abundant windows we could see the Madawaska river and the Bernard-Valcourt pedestrian bridge. The scenic view from the restaurant is beautiful.
