Everything is always exceptional when me and my boyfriend go! Service is very friendly and willing to help explain if you have any questions about the menu or how to order. Atmosphere is perfect to relax and talk! We both took alcoholic drinks and they tasted/looked amazing! Waiter made sure to always fill up my glass of water. You can see how proud the employees are of the cleanliness. It smells great and even the bathroom is very well kept. I appreciate greatly when a restaurant prides itself and this one always welcomes us. I always give appropriate tip for such service. 10/10 Will visit again :)
Let me preface this by saying that the atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful. The sushi itself does taste good, and the wait staff is friendly. That being said, there is a lot of room for improvement: - We ordered by phone. When we went to pick up our order half an hour later, we were told they were "out" of two of the rolls we ordered. Rather than calling us or substituting it, they just didn't include the rolls. I asked if we could order other rolls instead. They said we would have to wait, which we did. It only took 10 minutes or so, but it's mind boggling that nobody called to tell us that they couldn't completely fulfill the order. - The sushi rolls are quite expensive and thin. They're incredibly hard to pick up with chop sticks because they fall apart. They need to be more tightly rolled. - The sushi selection is lacking. You won't find rolls that you normally find at sushi restaurants, such as rainbow rolls. The rolls are more "fusion" than what one might expect. They do taste good, but I wish the restaurant paid more attention to diversifying their maki and nigiri options. Instead, they decided to add pizza in a town that already has a million pizza restaurants. I'd love to see nigiri options like scallops, eel, etc. A "sushi roll of the week" would be wonderful, as would better prices. I feel like a sushi restaurant should stick to sushi and maybe some other Japanese dishes. All in all, it's almost worth it to take a day trip to Fredericton for sushi at this point.
$118 after a 15% tip.... The food was ok. But 5 per roll when the normal is 8. As much as I love and miss sushi since moving here I don't think we will be back.
Each roll has 5 pieces, 1 of those pieces are half the size of the others, missing some ingredient and all fell apart. Dissapointed we spent $75 on 5 rolls. I've never had such bad sushi in my entire life. Everything from the weird tasting rice to their stale fish. Their "miso soup" is a brown, smelly, overcooked mushroom broth with brown chunks of tofu. It should be illegal to call this a miso soup. The maki rolls were awful, felt like a 5 year old put them together with whatever ingredients were leftover from their lunchbox. Go to a grocery store that donesnt specialize in sushi, you're better off.
Very nice atmosphere, great service and delicious meals with reasonable prices. Me and my friend had a good time.
I've heard so many good things about this restaurant and decided to try it. We were really disappointed. We made the order at 7h20pm and the order was only gonna be ready at 8h45pm. When we got there, we waited another 10mins because they hadn't put in our order. We ordered one of the combos for 2 people, 46$ + tax but it gave us enough food for 1 person, and no chopsticks. Honestly the food wasn't that great. Not worth the money at all.
Wow, Just Wow, Service is very professional and courteous. Same waiter and waitress nearly everytime we go. The food is great, the presentation... well have a look at the photos.... average for sushi shops. But as long as the taste is there I have no complaints. I strongly recommend.
Updating review based on recent experience now that the restaurant has a new owner. Chef was too lazy to accommodate for allergies (mayonaise) so we had to go eat our main meal somewhere else. We tried the miso soup which was more of a mediocre mushroom soup than an actual miso soup. Used to like this restaurant, but will no longer be returning.

We ordered a combo for two people but barely had enough. There was blackened avocado in one of our sushi. Wait time is very long. I ordered my food at 4:15 they said it would be ready at 5pm but when I got there I still waited an other 15 min.

We waited for a table for about 30 minutes, even though the restaurant was only about 40-50% full during our visit. We chose the selection for 3 people, expecting to try more varieties. We received: each 5 pieces of 4 types of maki very similar in taste (20 pieces), each 2 pieces of 3 types of nigiri, 6 pieces of 1 type!!! hosomaki, 2 pieces of sashimi - numbers indivisible between 3 people , amount of ginger for 1 person. Until now, I have never finished wasabi, the amount in this restaurant was insufficient for 3 people.
Very slow Food
First time at this restaurant for take out. Very expensive, for sushi with unripe avocados. In the poke bowl, the pieces were much too big so it was impossible to eat with the chopsticks. A little disappointing, but it tasted good.

If you live in a rural area like I do, good sushi might be a long trip to get to. Now that Ive discovered Sushi World, its a tasty reward after a not-so-long drive. The staff were attentive, friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. The vegetable tempura was crunchy x10 (thats good) and went well with an ice cold Japanese beer. If you struggle with choices (and there are many), go with one of several chefs choice platters. The next time you have a sushi craving, get yourself to Sushi World and consider the craving well taken care of!
First time in this restaurant, and I had a great experience here. The waiter was amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious, beautiful presentation. Will come back for sure.
Beautiful restaurant, bamboo booths, semi-private and non private tables, great service, great music, great food (more than just sushi, although it is their specialty). One of the top restaurants in this town.
Great food!!! But have been waiting over 1 hour for my delivery. My opinion is you should eat in.... They told us they would deliver between 5 and 7 pm. I m still waiting but giving them a chance... praying I ll eat tonight!

With the new decor and menu, its worth going. The atmosphere is unique and its a good price for a good meal. Their sushi maki are big and filling, but my new favorite thing is the poke bowls which are filling for the price.

Although the short time that the Beauport branch has been open we have always been impressed by the quality and diversity it was an extreme disappointment when I opened my box upon arriving home to find that out of 15 makis only 5 contained seafood and it was crab salad, exactly the same as was on my pizza and in one of the two gunkans!!!!! Otherwise chicken and vegetarian makis thats not why I pay $40 for a 29 piece!!!!!!

Have come here many times from Portland in southern Maine, which has an abundance of sushi restaurants. This place competes with all of them. All their sushi is always beautifully plated, and fresh and they offer unique flavor profiles/combinations that you can t find anywhere else. I ordered 2 maki rolls and left it up to the server to choose which ones for me. He returned and explained each of them and the highlight ingredient. I was beyond impressed. 5 stars!
I come here every so often with my friend, the food is the best I ve ever tasted, the staff is professional and friendly, the ambience is beautiful and calming. Really makes my night out worth it, the food is affordable especially for the quality. Nothing short of amazing.

After reading reviews, we figured out that it was worth trying. My wife had the fried rice and me the Thai coco chicken soup. We were both disappointed by our plates. Way too salty. Her plate felt like it à bad meal for student. Mine felt like it was made from powder broth with tasteless boiled chicken. I would describe it like a instant ramen bowl with extra chicken and some green to make it look fresh. The only reason to go there its because it is one of the few restaurant open on Monday evening.
