Everything is super-duper delicious !! Best ever Backery so far by Lakeshore area. loved basic sunny side up pizza, simple but delicious.! Parking availability issue as shop is on busy road and there is no dedicated parking.

I used to get treats for my family for a while here but I had an unfortunate experience with a friend. They thought the cashier girl was honest and gave correct change but she kept some of the money. I asked about any cash left over and they still didnt help. When I want some coffee, I may not bother coming now. The people that run the place dont care about the people they hire. Some of the workers sort of yell at you like which salad as if you are standing on their turf. And whoever is talking about RE values, no one wants to live in shoe box houses!

Ordered pizza and chicken foccacia to go she asked if we wanted warm or cold she gave us cold pizza and foccacia both were freze cold

Really love coming here to get some goodies. I get my birthday cakes from here and never been disappointed. I recently developed a love for their cheese croissants, so that s going to be a weekly item for me to get now. It s just sometimes when it gets really busy, the lines become confusing and it s hard to know where to stand.

I took my mom yesterday 30 November 2024 and the decorations were very nice but the washroom needed attention. We bought a few things and saw this Red Velvet cake for $26 and I was going to buy it but my mom said NO because it seemed expensive for a simple cake so instead I bought two sliced Red Velvet cake pieces. She was right, this cake has no WOW factor. It is basically a sponge cake with cream cheese on the exterior and interior. My mom got a stomachache because she found the cream cheese a bit strong. I should have bought a cake with fruits on the outside and inside because it is more moist and more flavorful. I am very glad that I did not waste $26 on a the Red Velvet full cake because I dont know if Sanremo has a refund policy. Then we bought 4 donuts but I wish they would put the names in front of display because my mom tried to pick donuts and had a hard time seeing and choosing because they were behind display on racks. She is a short person. She experienced the same issue when choosing bread because the breads were not labeled on the racks so basically she was pointing to a direction and the employee had to guess which bread she wanted. In the end there are a few things that could be easily fixed, like the washroom, labelling food and better access to see them if your a small person. Also a thank you for shopping when ordering something from different departments and smiles instead of simply pointing to the cash register to go pay. Possibly lowering the prices a bit on few things so that all wallet sizes can afford to buy. For example the four donuts that we bought were $11.96 (2x lemon, 2x cinnamon cruiller), that is about $3 a donut. This is something that I wont get next time, there was no WOW factor to them. Finally all I can say, its a nice place located in quiet area that has lots of variety food, deli, bakery, ice cream, hot drinks and a take out section.

Was spoiled with a delicious Millefoglie strawberry cake for my birthday. Scrumptious. The hot counter food, deli sandwiches, cakes and pastries, bread and gelato are all top notch. Portions are very generous. My favourite bakery.

This bakery is amazing and has so many options to eat and drink. The only thing lacking is seating, but there is a place to sit around the corner. The place is always busy, but staff are working diligently to serve everyone, while being friendly and quick. Their cafe crema is my favourite.

The apple fritter is the definition of dont judge a book by its cover. A place that never disappoints and an easy regular spot. Highly recommend.

Came in to try their pizza after I saw Dave Portnoy review their pizza on youtube. Quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever tried. They clearly made the pizza special for him. The other issue the list of pastries I wanted was sold out so what I wanted to try was not available. I ended up getting substitutions. I came in on a Tuesday so you would think they would be well stocked. I was very excited but left disappointed.

Just had the Veal sandwich and it s ALL bread for 12$ You guys can do better. Food : 3/5

I just ordered their traditional Bacio cake for my birthday and it over-exceeded my expectations. I will be coming back to this bakery for future cakes and other delicacies from now on. The cake was so delicious, fresh and moist. You can tell they are experienced and know what they are doing. The cake wasnt too sweet and you could really taste all the bold flavours. It was overall excellent. Thank you so much!!

$16 veal sandwich (2 toppings) and no where to sit indoors for my handicapped mother. All the tables are very high. None of the staff cared when I asked. Won t be back.

Food at San Remo is always good, but they need to work on their customer service. Had to repeat thank you three times to get an acknowledgment and a you re welcome from the cashier and also from the coffee hostess. A place so lively will appreciate friendlier staff

I ordered cake from this place twice before my last order and everytime I placed an order it was a headache.. first they couldnt get the payment so I had to stop by just to pay before they even started making it which wasnt a big problem but the second time they couldnt even find my order when I went to pick it up. Now I placed an order for my nephews birthday on email they didnt reply for 2 days so I called them. They couldnt find my order and they told me I have to place 3 days ahead (which I did but they didnt reply) so now I had to wait for the meneger to give me a call the next morning. I spelled the name Timothy 3 times to her, I sent an email with the name as well and when I pick up the cake the name is Pimophy . I dont think I ever heard the name Pimophy before and I dont know how can you guys mess it up so bad after hearing the name on the phone at least 3 times plus I had the email.. when my girlfriend told them they apologized and tried fixing it with a totally different color they fixed the first letter and forgot about the second P never ever order cake from these guys again.

We ordered a custom cake from SanRemo for my sons birthday and were very disappointed with the quality of the cake. We love the donuts here, so decided to give the cake a try. It was disappointing to say the very least. The buttercream was very thick and compared to the cake ratio it was too overwhelming. We wasted $80 on a cake that barely anyone ate. The buttercream had also way too much coloring that made the taste very bitter. We didn t do any fancy flavors and kept it simple with a vanilla sponge and chocolate filling to keep minimal room for anyone to dislike the cake. Also, after repeating my sons name multiple times, they still spelled it wrong. And yes, I went letter by letter with multiple descriptions for each letter. I will never be ordering a custom cake here again. They look very nice, but taste awful.

I did an online cake order with a specific time and date and it was ready when I arrived and looked beautiful and when I got home it tasted so fresh, home made and wonderful, my family loved it! Thank you so much!

My friend picked up 1/2 dozen donuts for me today. In all the years Ive had donuts from San Remo, Ive never had donuts so greasy, some grease yes but this was definitely the worst. This was not the quality Im used to. We tried two 1/2 donuts and with one bite, we felt like we bit into an oil soaked piece of dough. You can see the pool of oil sitting in the box. So disappointed.

Best carrot cake in town

Good quality foods, resembles a bakery in Italy but doesnt quite make it. Too chaotic a model: order first, line up to pay, then pick up food that has gone cold. 2022 Aug: still great food, but still the ridiculous ordering and payment model. No one else does this. 2024 Oct: nothing has changed. Great products, but that is all. Staff never seem happy, Ordering process not like Italy at all.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience I recently visited this bakery to buy a pumpkin pie. I couldn t find one on the shelf, so I lined up to ask the cashier if they had any in stock. Unfortunately, when I asked, the cashier didn t understand my question. Instead of politely asking me to repeat myself, she just inclined her ear towards me, signaling that she didn t understand. I asked again, but when she finally answered, she just said no with a stone-faced expression and no apology or explanation. After walking 20 minutes to get there, I was ready to buy something, even if they didn t have the pumpkin pie I wanted. If she had just offered other options, I would have gladly made a purchase. But the lack of basic courtesy and service made it frustrating, and I ended up leaving empty-handed.

Times have changed and so has their quality. Catering services: my advice, look elsewhere fyi turkey is smoke flavoured, not listed as such. And the sliders you have to search for the meat, don t bother, very disappointing.

They never answer the phone

Originally, I thought I reviewed this place here on Google. However, I ve been to Sanremo many many times in the past and honestly, never a disappointment until . This past Friday, October 18th. We arrived at the bakery at around 1:30pm and only to find out all of their donuts were SOLD OUT! I mean, I m surprised but not surprised . But 1:30pm is early, even for a Friday. So bc we made the trek there, we decided to buy some sweets instead. The girl who helped us was super friendly and super patient, service was superb! Our sweets were all from the day before we know bc we ve had them when they were done fresh: strawberry tart, lobster tail x2, Nutella brownie, and lemon tart. Not gonna lie, it was pretty disappointing this time around.

I try twice and not satisfied with the quality of the product , pistachio Croissant and date square last visit not that good. Customer will not come back if they have not great experience. Food : 3/5

Veal sandwich tasted really good but small. Nutella croissant was overfilled. Ice latte was all milk, I think they forgot the coffee. Pretty expensive, 2 sandwiches 2 ice coffees and 2 croissant was $56... Overall will give it another try, they have a lot of options!!

Dont come work here. I came for an interview, which was in the sales area lol they didnt ask me about my work experience, they didnt ask me anything. Their boss just said he would call me back. Why did you waste my time for me to come for two minutes? They are not interested in good workers with experience

Ordered latte and the service was not great at all. I usually get great servers there but this one with dark hair was rude and unprofessional. They forgot my order and no other customers waiting except me and I ask them about my order, that girl with dark hair said it will take a minute, looks like they didnt have the order. After waiting and seeing 4 to 5 other customers who came after me were served, I inquired again and that girl with dark hair says I told you it will take a minute when i tried to speak then she speaks over me and says she is making it now. She hands me a latte , not full, not hot and a little less than 3/4 full. I said no one asked me what I wanted, then she said we had it. The first time I inquired, they asked if I paid and I showed the bill, so now they have the order? Then I just shook my head and left and that server shouts have a great day sarcastically, then shouts Jesus. What does Jesus have to do with her rudeness and unprofessional behavior. She speaks over me, tries to intimidate me and to think I have no rights to inquire on my order which they never would have made, then I get a cup not even full. She should not be serving customers. I would never have hired her and never will. Glad there are many other places that value customer service and provide a full cup without an attitude. Wont be returning

If you love pastries, this is the place to go. Havent found a bakery having more variety of pastries than this one. Its delicious too and good value for moneym

Best desserts of all time

San Remo is hands down one of my favourite spots in Etobicoke. Ive been coming here for over 10yrs and while my favourite things to get are the pre-made sandwiches and a treat from the bakery (Canolis are ON point).... I havent had a bad item yet. If youre lucky enough to walk in when they have Doughnuts available, make sure you grab one... They are a HOT seller.

I saw the hype of the Cafe Crema on TikTok and decided to give it a try. While it is delicious, the price is definitely NOT worth it. It s 5.99 for a small cup (similar to a water cup size). For first timers here, it s chaotic on a Saturday, with confusing lineups, no place to look at their menu, and no time to decide what to order.

Really like the food here. Coffee is a bit pricey but sandwiches are huge, tasty and cheap

Today i ordered a flank steak sandwich to go!? $13.99 . I paid and the counter girl came to cash to give me my sandwich in two bags!? I said that this was for sure not what I ordered!? The woman at cash told me that she may have cut the sandwich in half and put it in two bags!?? To my extreme disappointment my two bags contained two different sandwich. I tried one and really didn t like it since it was far from being this beautiful steak sandwich!? Not sure what happened here? I really said at cash that this wasn t mine!??? But they said yes it is!? How can someone order be so mishandled!? Looks like the best place in Toronto but what a disappointment for me!

This bakery is Amazing!!! If your visiting Canada, you must make a trip to this bakery. The cannolis are phenomenal. The date squares are a perfect mix of googy and crunch. Staff are helpful & kind.

Nice place

Fake Italian bakery. Owners might be Italian but the quality of products is subpar according to Toronto standards. I drove from downtown and was very excited. But their croissant was the same quality as Costco. Not the authentic European taste you get in bakeries using better ingredients. Main reason being they don t use the authentic Italian flour (as used by multiple Italian bakeries around Toronto) in their baked goods. Nor they are using European butter. Pistachio crema was overly sweet and coffee crema was more like iced cappuccino than real coffee crema.

I feel so fortunate to be a regular customer of Saneremo Bakery. Not only is everything I have ever eaten from there of incredible quality and taste, but even more special is how Saneremo treats its customers, and how much pride the take in the quality of their deliverables. I have had two stand-out experiences with Saneremo bakery: 1) I ordered a custom cake for a baby shower. The cake was beautiful. The custom made topper was curling slightly because of the summer heat. I didnt even notice, but the cake staff insisted that it be re-cut to perfection. I politely shared that I didnt have time to wait and had to pick up ice and lemons for my party. They went into their kitchen, handed me a bag of lemons and some ice to save me a trip, handed me a free coffee, and re-cut the cake topper until it was perfect :) 2) I was in Saneremo bakery on a weekend with my husband, and ordered a cafe crema (they are to die for). My husband was waiting in line for a sandwich and the owner, as a random act of kindness, grabbed the sandwich my husband wanted and gave it to us for free. We were on our way to my Dads funeral that day (there is no way the owner could have known) and the kind gesture was so timely and heartwarming. These are just two examples of the very special customer care we have received that demonstrate both the good hearts and the true passion that the Saneremo owners have. We have since ordered custom catering on several occasions, and everything is always organized and cooked to perfection. Thank you Saneremos for doing what you do, you enhance our lives on a regular basis!

Today was my first visit. I went with my kids and order pastries and a coffee. The service was great along with the pastries. I will be visiting this location again to try more stuff out. A must visit if youre from out of town.

The food left a lasting impression, as did the service but in completely different ways, hence the 4 as opposed to the 5 that I would have given Sanremos. It was my first time there, and I left disappointed in the way I was treated by a female at the hot food counter. She was young, late teens, early twenties, long golden blond hair in a ponytail. She was rude, unfriendly, with no eye contact, no smile...nothing...she must really hate her job, or at least it seemed that way. What we ordered was the eggplant lasagna, a veal sandwich, a greek salad, a Cesar salad, and 10 sweet pastries and donuts, which all were really good, for the most part. The eggplant lasagna was delicious and perfectly filled with incredibly yummy breaded eggplant...to die for. The Greek salad was filled with tonnes of feta cheese and beautiful fresh veggies. All of the sweet treats were delicious except for the cream filled sweet bread horn, nothing to rave about. It was just okay. The canolli were delicious. Both the chocolate and the pistachio were incredible, beautifully flavoured. The tiramisu was heavenly...perfectly creamy and perfectly sweet. The donuts were fluffy, fried dough balls that had fallen from heaven. All were super good, especially the cream filled donuts! The sfogiatelli almost made me cry it was so good...crispy, and deliciously creamy goodness. The zepolli were perfection, I havent had better elsewhere. I cant say enough about this place, but the service disappointed me. Its like going to a restaurant, having an incredible meal, then being served bad coffee to end the experience. Its disappointing and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Luckily, the food didnt. I havent been back since, though.

Highly disappointed with my purchase today. I ve been ordering this bagel & creme cheese special for years, since it was $1.99. It is now $3.99 and there is barely any creme cheese on the bread. This is highly disappointing.

The apple fritter is addictive huge and deep fried love to try the others but they are always sold out. The sandwiches are really tasty as well. Reason I only gave 3 stars has nothing to do with the staff it s just that they are sooo busy if you can pre-plan consider using their delivery service. I think I will try it next time.

I had ordered a very large expensive birthday cake and was incredibly impressed by the cake, the taste, the freshness, the artwork. Highly recommend Sanremo for that. Unfortunately the service was a disappointment. Completely understand that it is a very large bakery and very busy. However paying attention to customers and listening is crucial. No one picks up the phone in the many times I ve tried calling and ordering in person was quite frustrating when I had to constantly repeat myself due to the staff taking the order being constantly distracted. Definitely will go back and I hope the owners understand to take this comment as a means of constructive feedback. Customers render your business a success, staff will render it to flourish.

Sanremo provided us with donuts for our wedding! Everyone loved them and was asking us where we got them, they were a huge hit. Sanremo staff were great to work with, excellent to communicate with, and had the donuts ready the morning of. Thank you again for making our desert table so special with the Red Velvet donuts and the best apple fritters that have ever existed!

Worst focaccia I had in my life

I visited a little late around 1-2 pm to pick up some donuts. Sadly there was only a singular Skor donut left. It was good but not my favourite. I do tend to prefer jelly donuts and will need to visit at an earlier time to get a better array.

I ve heard so many great things about this place, so my partner and I decided to give it a few tries recently. The coffee is delicious, and everything from the Danish pastries section of the bakery is fantastic. However, I cant say the same for the cakes / other pastries we tried. Both the pistachio cannoli, which looked amazing, and the chocolate and raspberry cake slice had an artificial taste, lacking the homemade quality we expected. I guess we ll stick to the Danishes

The best bakery in Toronto! Best sweets, pistachio based pastries and savory food!

I should probably go on and on about how good the bakery is and why youll get lost within the desert menu never to be seen again, if youre able to make it out of the parking lot - almost requiring a mini cooper chauffeured by Jason Statham. There are a few places in town with great custard tarts - albeit not necessarily with the kind of pizza dough quality that might risk a necessary jaywalking ticket for crossing the road - or not, depending on your gluten tolerance. So keep Jason Statham tied up at home and walk over to San Remo on a hot summer day to experience the greatness of an iced coffee espresso capucino. I grew up with the Tim Hortons version and with all due respect to the captain of the donut industry, this thing is outta this world good. Bon Apetit!

San Remo Bakery is a delightful Italian bakery that never disappoints. My top picks include their strawberry tarts, veal sandwiches, the pudding cake, and gelato. The quality of their products is consistently excellent and fresh. Additionally, the customer service is outstanding Mariana, the cashier, was exceptionally friendly and demonstrates fantastic customer service skills. I highly recommend visiting San Remo Bakery for a wonderful culinary experience.

Best local bakery in town

The quality of service here has gone down severely in the last few years. My mom stopped by to grab some doughnuts, which were already $14 for 6, and when she went to pay she wanted to pay cash. The girl behind the counter made a sour face at my mom and then proceeded to ask how my mom wanted to divide the tip, even though my mom never said she wanted to tip (why am I tipping you for putting donuts in a box?) My mom realized the girl made a face at her because my mom wanted to pay cash and people are more likely to tip when they pay debit due to the automatic tipping prompt. So my mom felt pressured into leaving a tip because the girl basically didnt give her a choice but to leave one. Why are staff attempting to pressure customers into tipping them? San Remo staff do not get paid like servers in restaurants, so for them to be asking for tips is absurd. And assuming this is how the staff are being trained to speak to customers, we will no longer be supporting San Remo.

Really great cannolis. Other pastries are good too. You can get sandwiches, gelato and coffee here. There is a deli section for meats and cheese. Washrooms down the stairs. Some outdoor seating and a standing area if you wish to eat on the premises.

Honestly, the best Italian bakery in the city! Parking can be tricky! Food quality: Outstanding Cleanliness: Perfection, they handle all the food, no more people picking at buns and loaves ect. Donuts you cannot go wrong. Well priced, great selection, always fresh. They run out quickly hahaha I dont use the hot table,but there is always a huge line for it!! We re so lucky in Mimico to have this outstanding business on our neighbourhood. I recently placed an order for a few trays of sandwiches for a team event. The order got mixed up which could have been a disaster for me as I was hosting a team event early the next morning, instead Management stepped in and arranged to come in early and get my original order ready and gave me a free latte! They know how to do service right and their food and baked goods are amazing! My team now doesn t have to eat bad food at the car race! Thank you San Remo team. .

I ordered a Wedding cake from Sanremo recently. It was absolutely beautiful and delicious! The service was perfect. The store was busy when I arrived for pickup. I had prompt and friendly service. They even carried the heavy cake out to my car.

This is one bakery that is well worth a visit. The sandwiches are definitely special. I was genuinely surprised at the size of the large sandwiches that are generously filled with all sorts of goodies. I picked up the prosciutto and cheese sandwich and devoured it in a few mins. I cant wait to go back and try the pizzas and other cooked foods! I also picked up a couple of chocolate chip cookies that were fantastic. They have a good almond flavour to them that is quite unique. I cant wait to go back and try some more!

Absolutely great place. Make sure to go early if you want to try the Fantastic donuts. Sandwiches or pizza are always fresh and a perfect lunch.

I love this place. The veal sandwich is delicious and the cafe crema is to die for.

The donuts we got were fresh and tasted really good staff were nice.. The pastry section was efficient and orderly even with the long lines because you can pay right there and then after you select your baked goods. There were tons of dessert items available to choose from which was amazing. In terms of the drinks, sandwiches and hot food- it was madness and not systematic in terms of ordering and claiming your food .it was chaotic because you had to line up separately to order, then line up again in a different area to pay for your order, then would have to squeeze into the existing line of people placing their orders so you can claim your food when they call out your name (and there were no visible divisions or markers in place at the payment area for hot food/sandwiches so people just cut in line there s no discipline with some of the customers because the store itself is disorganized)..

Apple fritters are THE BEST in the city. Trust me Im a donut expert. They are even better than Harry and heels and the fancy trendy donut places fritters.

This bakery must be a local favourite. It is busy with several lineups inside for the different counters selling pastries, breads, coffee, hot foods and sandwiches. There is even a deli section on opposite side of this large store. The food is lack lustre. I am sceptical of what is actually made in-house. There is no aroma of butter, sugar or yeast. All the baked goods are serviceable. It is reminiscent of the sheet cakes and treats at buffets and hotels. Not bad but also not artisan quality. Deli meats are of the same as any you can find at your local grocer. Everything is very reasonable in price and you get what you pay for. There is convince in a store like this and high turn over. If you are looking for best of.. you will not find it here.

By far one of the best bakeries I ve been to. Love the sandwiches and hot food. A hidden gem in the GTA. Other than me, has anyone noticed the decrease in the size of the pizzas and sandwiches but increase in prices since the pandemic?

Its a bit of a mad house for a 1st visit. Now that we know the flow, we will be better prepared next time

This was my first time visiting this bakery, and at first I thought this place was just for coffee and some pastries but when I went in, I saw this place has a deli a pastry area and also a café and they also offer lunch items. This bakery is really well. Customer service is very kind and accommodating with different areas having helping different people. Overall, my experience here was a 10 out of 10 and the bakery itself is very big. The prices here are very reasonable for the quality of food and product you are getting and they also have recently opened up a small dine in area where you can stand and eat. I would for sure come back here to try the many other variety of options they have. Probably one of the best bakeries I ve ever been to in my life.

Sanremo is a staple of the area that I have visited many times for a decade. The desserts are great, and the bread is always fresh and good. The sandwiches are good, but a little expensive in my opinion. Its a great bakery with a nice environment, a good place to sit down and have a meal. Even the pizza here is pretty decent. A great environment overall. 5/5

Wonderful food and great service

Almost 27 dollars for a pop a veal sandwich and a rice ball. The food wasn t bad but we ve had better for that amount. This is a popular place in town so I guess the name has a price, nothing was bad just thought the price was a bit excessive. Will think long and hard about coming back.

Its always so crowded on weekends that there arent enough people to fit in. There is a wide variety of bread, side dishes, and cakes. Sandwiches with lots of toppings are delicious, and yeast donuts are delicious. Although the dough is heavy, its always delicious even with unusual flavors like yogurt, and the cannoli and desserts are also delicious. A must-visit shop when youre nearby

Too good! Theyre so good that traffic is messed up in the neighborhood and you cant drive on royal york without annoying jaywalkers and tourists who cant drive. That part of it I hate. But I know I dont have a right to declare a place locals only - just please when you come here remember that people live and work in this neighborhood too! And that if youre turning onto Royal York you do not have right of way over cars already driving on the street... Anyway, the food here is actually amazing. Great donuts, great croissants, great deli sandwiches, great coffee - theres a reason its so busy all weekend. An underrated offering are the chocolate cake donuts - a personal favorite of mine along with the Turkey Focaccia sandwich. The layout it is a little confusing the first time, but actually very efficient once you understand it.

It s not the cheapest, but it s far from a rip off, the vealparm sandwich is amazing make sure you get hot peppers and mushrooms on it , go ahead eat it in your car ! I was at the Sanremo bakery this morning for some incredible donuts and really lovely pastries! But I really want to point out that they re doing a great job supporting the local community. Today they had a big display with the Etobicoke Humane Society, with Adopt Me info sheets on all purchases, and even a few adorable potential pets out front! It s so nice to see a small business give back to the community. I will be supporting them as best I can. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids in the shop, and even a stroller!

This place is my go to spot for indulging in delectable desserts. What sets Sanremo bakery apart, however, is not just the quality of their desserts, but the exceptional service provided by their staff. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Lina, whose warmth and expertise made the experience truly memorable. Lina helped me navigate through the tempting selection, ensuring that we left with the perfect treats for my cravings.

I honestly had bigger expectations. I dont know if it was the pastry I got but I wasnt impressed. It was ok. I did enjoy the tiramisu though it was really good. The cupcakes were tasteless unfortunately and cannoli tasted mostly of alcohol- i couldnt taste the pistachio. I honestly dont get the hype. Maybe next time Ill try the donuts since it seems to have great reviews. Thats just my opinion and my tastebuds- but just wanted to share my honest review.

Amazing utterly brilliant selection and freshness in terms of hot food, deli, and pastries. The frozen entrees are great for surprise guests and are made very well! Also, dated parking policies in the surrounding streets make for issues when dropping in.

The short haired lady at the counter is very rude and doesnt know how to talk to customers

We got donuts from this bakery and were blown away by their selection and taste! The donuts were more doughy than oily, which was a pleasant surprise. Their variety of flavors is impressive; from classic favorites like red velvet and caramel dipped to unique options like bacon and Dulce de Leche, theres something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of fillings, especially the Nutella-filled ones. Yes........Highly recommend trying out their delicious donuts! You have to reserve your slot before coming to the place to pick up your donuts. No bypass. No exception.

My absolute favourite donut spot in the GTA!! I love custard filled donuts and there are so many different flavours to choose from. These are made fresh daily and they are super fluffy. These donuts are huge and the price is soooooo good. The service is always friendy and very efficient. I love that I can pre-order and pay online. This is a very busy spot, and they have catered to customers by having a pick up windows which makes it super convenient. Thank you for always coming through with amazing and fresh donuts!!! Update: 3/10/2024 Still love this bakery for its donuts, I ordered the banana filled and a custard zeppole today. The zeppole was out of this world - super fluffy and light, the custard is amazing. Both were really fresh. I tried the veal sandwich with mushrooms and cheese, it was okay. I wouldnt order this again, I thought the bun was really good, the veal and tomato sauce were a bit bland for me. I also tried the eggplant lasagna which was really delicious but I thought the portion was a bit small. Aside from that, my experience was good. The ladies at the donut section and hot food sections were really nice and friendly, the ones at the cashier were a bit lacking customer service. I was there by 9am on a Sunday morning and there was ample street parking!

Amazing little place! They have a huge selection of everything from a deli, sandwich bar, coffee bar, desserts, donuts and more. Prices are good and service is fast and friendly. There isnt alot of parking which is the only downside however everything else is fantastic.

Sanremo always satisfies my donut cravings! Just be careful walking in thinking you ll only get 1 donut because you ll leave with half a dozen or more! My favs of late: - dulce de leche - lemon - Boston cream - ALL the seasonal fritters, especially strawberry and peach. And always the apple. (Sometimes the corners are a tad burnt, but the dough texture, fruit, flavour, sweetness, and moistness more than makes up for it! It s toasty not burnt ;)) The cinnamon sugar crueller is not very sweet. May try the glazed next time. Like that the dough isn t super greasy or heavy but would suit my personal tastebuds if it was a little eggier. Thanks team! Salivating just writing this post.

I have attended Sanremo multiple times and usually never have any issues. The staff is friendly considering this place is always busy! I bought an oreo cake for my fathers birthday over the weekend (March 17, 2024), which I have purchased in the past from here. Usually it tastes yummy, but this time I was disappointed. The oreo cream inside tasted like lemon. I am not sure if the cake recipe has changed since I have last tried it or if someone accidentally used a lemon cream icing when making it, but it didnt taste very good. I was disappointed because I usually love their oreo cake, but this one just didnt taste the same as it had before:(

Our first time, and I was overwhelmed the verity of sweets, breads, donuts, and more. We also got a lemon Meringue Pie, and our family was so amazed at how good it was.but the strawberry tarts are also a must. Go, you wont be disappointed.
