Mid at best, very dry, watching the owner trying to live out his rockstar fantasy was the highlight of the experience
Never got food. Nobody bothered to serve us and just ignored us when we went to the bar. After 15 minutes we left. Went to Henry the 8th pub. Great food and craft beer.
Best brisket in town. Hands down. Smoked wings. Yum! Smashburger is awesome and so are the fries. Recommend! A jewel in the neighbourhood.
Me and the guys all got different stuff. I got the big dog sandwich. Pulled pork sandwich and a plate for the boys. Serving sizes were reasonable at best. Food tasted pretty decent. For the price a side would be nice along side the sandwiches.
ordered last night. We ordered the the pulled pork sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, brisket sandwich and the big dog sandwich. as well as a large fries, small potato salad, and a large mac and cheese. First and foremost, every sandwich was missing a key ingredient... taste. Second, we ordered through skip and the prices were crazy for the size of the sandwiches we got(definitely thought they would be bigger considering the price and pictures). The sandwiches looked absolutely nothing like any of the pics we ordered from. Every sandwich was half the size of the container it came in. the pulled pork was $15, the fried chicken sandwich and the brisket were both $16.50 and the big dog was $23.50. the fries and mac and cheese were over $8 each and the potato salad was small at $5. It was a small portion of fries for a large and the potato salad and mac and cheese were the same amount only in different size containers. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND unless your looking to be disappointed. I thought it was garbage from the first bite. We will never order again. Don't believe the star rating on skip for this place. You should never pay $120.00 between food and delivery and still be hungry. what a ripoff!!!! Look for somewhere else to spend your hard earned money!
I ordered some brisket flat meat. They seemed to be tender but tasted very dry. They were actually well trimmed and cooked I believe. However, I saw the owner reheating the brisket on a frypan. This would have probably worked for brisket point meat because they have more fats to generate some juice for moisture, but it was a nightmare for the flat meat as it would extract all the juice out of the meat. The place didn't have any seating area itself, but attached to a bar. So, I saw some customers order take outs. And I did too. Overall, the brisket wasn't very delicious. I wish they could be kept and served in a better way.
Love the BBQ! Ribs, chicken, fries, beans and cornbread all delicious.
Ordered delivery. Paid $70 for basically a rib plate and chicken sandwich. We also ordered large fried pickles side ($9). When the order came we clearly assumed a mistake was made. The $35 rib plate came with 1/2 a rack of ribs. It was literally 4 bones. When I called to inquire, I was told I got exactly what I paid for. 1/2 rack of ribs, fries and coleslaw. They claimed it's smoked 12 hours and that's why it's so expensive. Also made a point that it came with 2 sides. I am sorry, I am not ordering BBQ for some coleslaw and fries. The fried chicken sandwich was $16 and came by its tiny self (no sides). What a complete joke. The ribs were so dried out, you had to tear them from the bones. Chicken sandwich was also tiny and all you could taste were the raw onions placed on top. Pickles were good but were 6 pieces for the large size. Tried it once and will never order from here again. Much better/tastier BBQ around for better value. The other reviews say generous servings???? LOL
This is a restaurant with an atmosphere where you can simply have a drink while listening to live music. Live music and karaoke are performed every day of the week.
First time ordering, Brisket was really good, wings well smoked and the potato salad worth ordering. The barbecue sauce was great, alot better than the barbecue place down the road
Ordered for pick up tonight. Super friendly experience and the food was delicious. My husband, who is really picky about his bbq, called it phenomenal . Really excellent bbq. We will definitely be returning.
I ordered the smoked wings, with sides of coleslaw and fries a few days ago. It came with a nice bit of cornbread. Warm and delicious. Wings were a good size and perfectly cooked. Great dry rub. Bbq sauce on the side. I often find bbq sauce from many such places to be too sweet or too spicy. Theirs was very good. Coleslaw was delicious, which I also find rare for any place, as they are often too vinegary, etc. Even the fries were better than average! I hate to badmouth anyone, but I recently ordered from a bbq place nearby. I was disappointed by their lemon pepper ribs (very dry, and almost felt like day old ribs, and lemon pepper ribs, I realize, are just a bad option), terrible fries that seemed store bought (maybe not true, but thats how they looked and tasted, and they became cold and hard very quickly), and a dry Caesar salad with no accompanying sauce (did they forget? I dont know). And the price there was TWICE as much as Bellows. Its tough to do bbq right. Its challenging, and not cheap to make, and hard to keep it all nice and fresh and ready to go when you dont know how many people will order it each night. Bellows put together a great order of wings, etc for me, and they do it with a much, much smaller crew than the other place. If we support them, theyll only get better. Ill be back.
The absolute best BBQ brisket Ive ever had.
Loved the pulled pork sandwiches. Very delicious!
The baby back ribs and the service were great. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it!
This place is a hidden gem located inside and apart of the pub the food is absolutely amazing. Everything is made in house. I would highly recommend this place
Meh. Fries over cooked, beef brisket was dry, pulled pork was good, wings were good, cornbread was meh. Mac and cheese was stale and tasteless.
Big Dog Sangy is delicious
Chicken wings are really good! But - the ribs.... wow. the best I have ever had. Get the ribs. My neighbour says get the brisket! She said the side mac n cheese was the best she ever had. and, they gave us a little thank you note and free beer glass. generous servings.
Ribs were cooked perfectly and fall off the bone tender. Sides were plentiful, I liked the Mac n Cheese.
The best BBQ house in Etobicoke. Where else can you get a brisket, pulled pork and fried chicken sandwich that consistently hits? Satisfaction is always achieved at Bellows BBQ.
