Nice little place

Overall, location, food, and service is great! Food is great - their omelettes are pretty big portion wise (around 5-6 eggs, Id guess). Their side choices consists of home fries, salad, tomatoes and for extra surcharge: fresh fruit. Lots of choices to choose from standard breakfast foods to sandwiches/burgers for lunch! Service is consistent, love the service sign that tells customers to seat anywhere or wait for a hostess. Depending on the day of the week, service and wait time could get crazy. Try to reserve a table if you can during week days, but for weekends, be prepared to wait for brunch. They also have a nice system of splitting the bills and paying at the exit. Nice and convenient location right off the highway. This restaurant shares the same plaza and parking lot as the Canadian Tire, so tons of spots!

Went there this morning like every Saturday morning for breakfast the difference is the girl that took our order didnt understand English but didnt care to explain it that she dont understand she brought the wrong order I told her I didnt order that the manager said its OK she dont speak English and said she dont appreciate the way I speak to her staff I she respect her staff if I am going to eat at her restaurant I walk out if you cant accept what the manager said you cant dine at her restaurant I will never go back there the manager attuned sucks. I been going here for years never been treated like this and your paying for your service

Good sized portions. My scrambled eggs were still reasonably moist. Coffee was offered several times. Overall very good. Card machine was out the day I visited.

We visited Sunny Morning Breakfast & Lunch as a group of five, and the service was excellent and quick. The brunch was delicious, with generous portions that left us fully satisfied. On top of that, the waitresses were extremely friendly and welcoming. We ll definitely be coming back!

Overall good, however I am continually annoyed at inconsistent portion sizes. It seems like every time I come here I m playing to lottery and I loose more often then I win.

Update Nov 2nd 2024: Belgian Delight is our new fav for over a year now and you have an option of a real maple syrup Love it Always on point and my every other weekend Saturday brunch spot, the staff are very efficient, attentive with a smile. Love this place and all the food are amazing. Love their home fries and coffee.

Went there randomly for breakfast as we happened to be in the area and the reviews were great. They were not wrong! Lots of choices, delicious food, and large portions. We loved the Eggs Benedict. The service was also exceptional. Too bad we live a little far but if we are in the area again, we would definitely go back!

The food came out very quickly and they kept checking on us and refilling our coffee.

just ordered on doordash. this was my go to place to bring ppl for breakfast. they automatically added an orange juice and apple juice to my order and i will now never eat here again. its too bad cause i love the freddy sandwich

How can you call something eggs benedict and make it without real butter, then charge 6$ for a side of it which tastes like garbage! Second time ordering so shame on me!

I went for brunch with my mom and daughter. We all got burgers. No one liked them. Mine was too salty. They are really messy. The mix of flavors does not work. Less than 2 hours later, I was visiting the washroom many times. The service in the other hand is amazing.

I thought it was a decent restaurant. However, the huevos rancheros dish was definitely not what I expected. Too wet, tasteless, and I found a black hair in the chicken. I would advise to order something else rather than this dish.

Eggs were watery. Never seen that before. I ordered over easy and when I broke egg yolk it was half water half yellow and then it mixed on my plate. Only option for french toast was with cinamon. Expensive. Not happy.

Was a bit disappointed in the French toast. It wasnt french toast. It was just bread fried on a griddle. Dry of the inside. Didnt have that fluffy texture of when you soak the bread in a custard mixture. Wont ever order that again. On a side note the home fries and eggs are delicious.

Busy atmosphere on a Saturday but for what reason? The coffee was watered down and my Mexican egg dish was uninspiring. We need more breakfast options in this neck of the woods that offers real value for the money. Unfortunately Sunny Morning is a one and done for me.

Love this place! Weve now been about 4 times and most recently was a Sunday morning when they were extremely busy. We were seated within a reasonable time after a small wait, and we were served quite fast which was amazing and surprising considering how busy they were. They did inform us that we couldnt do takeout for a third order because of how busy they were which is fair. Also, one negative was that the number they have listed online to call does not seem to work. On a different visit the week before we tried calling multiple times (and this was middle of the day on a weekday) and did not get through. When we arrived we tried again to see if it would ring and nothing did. Overall this place is great as is the friendly staff and we will be going back again in the future. Their chorizo Benedict, steak and eggs and sweet dream are our top favorites! We are also very happy with the unlimited refills with the coffee!

My family and I, have been coming for years and they never disappoint and even with covid this restaurant not only have kept the great service but the quality and quantity unlike other places where you see they have cut corners and have gone downhill. The food is so yummy here and we eat a variety of things from their menu. 5 stars all the way.

I like Sunnys. I go there about once a month for breakfast. Ive even purchased 3 of their mugs. They are the best mugs, beating out Tims for sure. The food is tasty and well presented. Service is impeccable. Very friendly staff. Ive been going there since before the pandemic and my only fault with them is their prices. Pretty expensive for breakfast. Coffee for $2.49 and tea for $3.49. The cups arent that deep. Id go for breakfast more often, but I dont because $25. for breakfast is a stretch. Coffee is not included with meals, so add tax and tip, yep, pretty much $25. for breakfast. Homefries are not really diner homefries. They are out of a bag and into the fryer. And thats all I have to say about that.

Great food & service! Breakfast was very tasty & good portion too. Vanessa was very personable, professional & great server! Good personality. My only bone of contention was that the hot cocoa I wanted was made with water & not milk. That s not a REAL hot cocoa.

A very busy place on a Sunday but my cousin and I were seated almost immediately after getting there. We ordered our food, prices are good for what you get. They are not stingy with bacon! Been here several times with family and it is always a great meal. Even when they are busy the service is quick. Menu has a great combination of Canadian breakfast and Mexican breakfast options. Generous serving sizes and food quality explain the higher prices. But honestly a way better option than coras or any other breakfast chain. Every server I have had was awesome. Attentive but not overbearing.

This place is an assembly line, pure & simple. The service is prompt and courteous but the food is absolutely mediocre. COFFEE: flavourless, watered down, barely hot. SUNNY-SIDE EGGS: flavourless, watery yolks, clearly prepared in a tray rather than on a griddle. BACON: acceptable, but not crispy. HOME FRIES: straight from the Sysco truck. Frozen cubes with too much salt. There are much better independent options in the area.

Decent breakfast efficient service, nothing standout

Good afternoon. I went to Sunny Morning for the first time. It was nice. Walking in reminded me of the setup at Coras. We were seated right away. I ordered the Meat Lovers Omelette with home fries and my niece ordered the Belgian Delight. The Omelette was good but not as moist and hot as I am used too. Home fries good. The Belgian delight was very good. She had fruit instead of home fries. Vanessa was our server and was very nice, helpful and did a great job. I would definitely come back again. This location has the best menu options, particularly the Mexican dishes, including my favourite - Chilaquiles (pictured). It s fried tortillas with a medium spiced salsa roja, cheese, refried beans and three eggs (any style). It s also served with toast and jam. The quantity is generous and the taste is amazing! The service is usually very good and the place is extremely busy on weekends. My only suggestions for improvement would be to offer real maple syrup as standard, offer honey and also offer non-GMO/organic/free range options e.g. for coffee, eggs, tortillas, etc. Overall, a very highly recommended restaurant, particularly this location!

Very mediocre tasting overpriced diner food. Not bad if you re in a pinch I guess. The service was good and the food came quick. Would have given 4 stars if they didn t charge 5 bucks for a tiny cup of Tropicana and call it freshly squeezed orange juice

I had the omelette with house potatoes, the food was nothing special. Other than chicken and steak, they only had pork meats (bacon, sausage, ham, etc.) no beef or veggie bacon. The water for the tea came warm and not hot. Service was good though. The staff were polite and friendly.

Decent food and decent prices. My eggs Benedict needed more hollandaise sauce. A nice cheerful atmosphere with friendly waiting staff. Very clean with obviously updated washrooms as well.

There is no way to order online for pickup. I tried to call in an order. After several attempts to call with no answer I tried to go to the Etobicoke location but the entrance was crowded and place was full. Couldn t even get close to counter to order take out. Ordered once in past and found food was ok for the price but not willing to wait to make take out order when they don t offer any other way to order. Not willing to pay the extra fees for delivery. Will most likely not go back unless they provide an option to order take out a head of pick up as their competition does.

Loved it! My Sweet Dreams waffle was delightful, and a huge treat! I couldnt believe that I managed to finish it; it was huge! I came very hungry though! I added pancake syrup to mine, which was free at my table. Next time, I will ask for more whipping cream. The servers were especially helpful and frequently checked in with me. I will definitely come here again, if I am in the area. I see now that Sunny Morning has other locations -- even one in Guelph that I can check out! There were so many food options to try! Excellent breakfast

Came here for brunch with a friend. This place is peak efficiency and they were filled. Were seated, browsed menu, ordered and had our food within 12 minutes. The waffle is fresh, with the maple bacon ontop its a great mouthful of food. The homefies are nicely seasoned and crispy. Overall great experience. For the first stop on my Etobicoke brunch tour, this place has set a decent bar for future places to beat. 8/10 would recommend and would come again. Parking: Huge parking lot. In a strip plaza.

Weve been coming to Sunny Morning since their first location at St. Clair in Toronto over 10 years ago. One thing remains the same their food is consistently fresh and so good. Their price point has always been fair and affordable and they always give generous portion. Their restaurants are always clean and their staff courteous and efficient. The owners Frederico and Sergio are amazing hard working human beings and we absolutely love them. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough! The kids love their fresh orange juice and eat everything from the waffles, eggs, French toast and delicious homefries. I love all their burgers and chicken sandwiches and love that I can order it first thing in the morning. Kapil, one of the chef always makes our butterfly sausages well done just the way we like it and we love his good humour when the kids want to watch him cook. He always has a ready smile for them and we appreciate him. We always splurge and get the real maple syrup because it s just worth it. Try out sunny morning and I guarantee you won t be disappointed!

Only stopped by while waiting for my car across the parking lot at Canadian Tire. Reviews were high so expectations were as well. Service and atmosphere were fine but my bacon was flat and had the consistency or jerky, and scrambled eggs were cooked to the point of turning brown. Home fries were the best portion on my plate. Not excited about this experience.

Sadly, editing my review. I enjoyed coming here on a regular basis until the day my order had a big thick nasty hair in it. Not only did they refuse to comp or reduce my meal, they took the half finished plate away and didnt offer to remake me the two eggs and sausages that were taken away! When I said this isnt right our server brought the manager over and she had no interest in hearing what happened, she just comped part of my meal and wanted to get me out the door. A little customer service goes a long way. Dietary restrictions: Easy to meet dietary restrictions with menu variety and side dish selections.

We love Sunny Morning! It is our go-to place at the start of a day of errands. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The food is always tasty, well prepared, with generous portions, and the fruit salad is always fresh! They also have great staff with genuine smiles.

Good food. The potatoes arent great, and Im wondering if they make them next to the bacon. They carried the smell and tasted off. As a vegetarian its somewhat discouraging. Eggs were great and our waitress was fantastic. Update: potatoes are now season and made perfectly.

Bacon was undercooked on sandwich. Waitress didn t apologize she just grabbed the plate and said they d make a new one. She then came back with half a sandwich. My toast was completely burnt but i couldn t be bothered complaining. Terrible service never going back.

I had a skillet breakfast, and my better half had eggs benedic or some variation to that. I cant exactly remember the exact name. Sorry... home fries were great as well... all in all food was very good and not that expensive for what we got.
