We had Flava Cene at our last event, and honestly, the food and service were fantastic definitely a 10/10! Everyone loved the dishes, and we can t wait to have them back at our future events.

The staff were very kind and accommodating, I just wish that they had used atlernatives to plastic utensils. I dont think the food was for me, but Im glad to have tried it! I got the vegetarian lasagna, and it didnt really have many of the unique flavors I wanted to try from Carribean Cuisine. Overall, Id say its a great place, just not for me. Thank you to the kind staff! Vegetarian options: They have few options, but worth trying. You might not get a lot of the unique flavors that come with Caribbean cuisine though

The storefront display menus very eye catching. Many beverage came desserts to choose from. You go in there for one thing u end up with many items. Very impressed! Very tasty and good portions (only comes in one size and it s the dinner size). Not sure if coleslaw is extra or not but server didn t ask if it should be added to the meal like other Caribbean restaurants. Chicken well seasoned and has bbq grill type of taste.

So while driving around hungry, I looked up a good burger place near me. ( I wasnt driving at the time of looking up places). Found a place and headed there, only to find out it was closed. But the store next door was open and thats how I ended up here. We didnt grab much, just a couple of patties, they were good, a jerk chicken sandwich, also good, but then we grabbed a Mac and cheese to try... Let me tell you, it was incredible, so cheezy, with a nice crust on the top, and noods were cooked perfectly! We grabbed three more before we left. Yes, no question I will be there, for another Mac and cheese hit!!

This place is absolute garabge with over priced food. Payed $13.56 for this garbage. Taste like absolute dog food. Smells rank. The cold slaw was more of a portion than this lasagna. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PRICING.

I absolutely love the food here. I eat from this place at least 3 times a week. I ve always been greeted with kindness, and the food matches that standard! My go to meal is the jerk chicken or curry goat, they also have a really great Rasta pasta. I m so happy they opened a Caribbean food store within the area. They will definitely be seeing me again!

Flava Ceen is easily one of the best joints around to get incredible well seasoned and properly prepared meals. Incredible value for the portion size without sacrificing flavor or quality. Everything on the menu is worth a try but the jerk chicken lasagna will destroy your waistline its so addictive. Worth it.

I came into buy a roti the service and atmosphere were great can t complain but as for the food it made my stomach very upset and I was very turned off but the roti skin it looked like a pita wrap I feel like like it lack s authenticity, but other than that the curry was good and had a good kick to it until it kicked my stomach

Ok honestly I was and still am I big fan of this place but some things need to change. First off that young lightskin girl needs some better customer service. She s not very welcoming compared to all the other staff I ve experienced there. She always acts like she hates her job. Ever since she been working there I always receive small portions of food that isn t worth what I m paying for considering there is only one size. I ve always received 4 pieces of chicken minimum and a good portion of rice. Now when I go I always get 3 small pieces of chicken and barely any rice. Past couple times I ordered a curry goat it was all bones.. barely and meat. The more recent time, I told the girl that she only put bones in my container and she just looked at me and shut the container. Did management change the portion sizes or is it just this staff that is stingy?

The food is so amazing. I think it is the best Jamaican joint I ve ever been to. Amazing spices on the jerk chicken and there are so many sides for the bowl as well. The server def tried to pack my bowl as much as she could. I love it and would definitely recommend others to come!!

Jerk chicken is very moist with a traditional JAM flavour. Mac and cheese melts in your mouth with alittle bite. Coleslaw is the best i ever had. perfect balance. Beef patties r flakey with a good amount of meat inside. Everyone is very friendly and helpful :)

All I can say is amazing amazing amazing, the service I received was impeccable i myself was shocked, most Jamaican restaurants have rude cashier or servers but Flava Ceen has never I refuse to buy food anywhere else my taste buds can not take any other Jamaican food, the authenticity of the food jah all di coleslaw mek weak bredda, the food is die for. If you haven t tried it yet I suggest that you do. Curry goat and fried chicken wid rice and peas and e coleslaw yuh can t guh wrong.

Very disappointed with the food and service I received. I ordered their jerk lasagna, & despite their false promise of it having a lot of sauce when I asked, it ended up being so dry and soggy. The lasagna was clearly microwaved and lost its structure. I also got one piece of their fried chicken. The skin had a great texture but lacked seasoning and flavour. The chicken meat was somewhat moist but not juicy. I also got a very small container of curry goat sauce on the side which was actually the tastiest thing I had out of everything. I also felt a sense of racism from the way I was treated. Being Asian, I understand I may not be the common customer for this type of restaurant, but that shouldnt change the level of anticipated customer service I should receive. The owner didnt greet me nicely like he did with his other customers of the same ethnicity. When he asked for my order, he wasnt happy about it & almost sounded like he was bossing me around with his tone. The cashier that finalized my order spoke very rudely to me in the most disgruntled manner. When I asked for other menu items & possible extra condiments, she responded in such a negative tone & was rushing to dismiss me. Not that it bothers me that things were sold out, but her attitude was very uncomfortable & unprofessional to deal with. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately I wont be coming back. Im sure there are other Caribbean spots that will treat me with a decent level of customer service that everyone of every race deserves.

If I could give more stars I would. Ive been to many Jamaican restaurants and by far Flava Ceen is the absolute best. Ive been meaning to make a review with pics for sometime but when I smell that jerk chicken all I think about is getting it in my belly!! Everything Ive tried is so full of flavour and always consistent. The jerk chicken and jerk pork, stew chicken, fried chicken and bbq chicken are all great. Rice and peas and their coleslaw is great too, I always get extra coleslaw.. theyre a bit stingy with it If youre ever in the area I highly recommend trying them out, you wont be disappointed!!

One of the best spot for Carribbean cuisine in the area. Fast & efficient service, with an amazing variety of flavourful dish & drinks options, generous serving portions, and reasonable pricing. The establishment has no space for a dine in experience so the food is only available for take out. My personal go to combos are the jerk pork, fried chicken or oxtail with rice and peas. They are generous with adding gravy to your food, highly recommend asking for it on top of your rice and meat orders. With all their options of food dishes and drinks, you can basically have any type of combos you prefer.

The food here at Flava Ceen is great. I only had curry goat and white rice. One suggestion please serve less rice and more meat. Way too much rice. The taste of the goat meat is really flavorful. I sent my husband all the way from Brampton to get me some. We also decided to try jerk pork but it was not my style. Too dry and needed to be cooked some more. Should be more juicy. Overall l would continue coming back to try other dishes.

Just went by there to try and get lunch and the doors are locked, staff are visibly ignoring customers at the door. Their hours state they open at 12 it s not 12:15. There s a lady making coleslaw not looking at us outside and a gentleman (I believe the manager) signalling to the glass as though they re closed. I walk back to my car and not even a minute afterwards they open up the door for another gentlemen. I couldn t believe my eyes I felt disregarded and purposely neglected at the door like their not suppose to be open. At the very least someone could ve explained to us the situation if they were going to open later. Once I noticed they opened I went in to confront the gentleman who signalled they were closed and his reasoning was that they were closed and waiting the cashier to come and they just opened up for him as they would any customer no apology for any inconvenience or nothing just disregard. Mind you the same man and woman are the only ones there and they opened no problem just after me and the other lady had left. Very weird. I will no longer be spending my money on establishments like this who don t know how to treat their customers. CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL MATTERS!

I order the bbq chicken with rice and beans. Overall, the meal was mediocre. Nothing special about this meal and it was expensive. They had run out of coleslaw and they had no fried plantain (they never seem to have fried plantain). I tried to get another side since they didnt have coleslaw but the only other free side that they had was some brown looking lettuce. They charge for all the other sides. I will not be going there again.

This was my second time ordering from this restaurant and although my first experience was mediocre in terms of food taste, portion size and customer service, I said let s give them a second attempt. I AM TRULY DISGUSTED!!!! Yesterday after exams, I purchased a jerk chicken meal with rice and peas with a moderate amount of oxtail gravy, which was well seasoned and drowned out the flavour of the rice. I had about a quarter of the meal once I got home that evening and shared some with my kids. The rice and gravy combo was good, however, the rice was a bit mushy and the chicken was quite oily. The remainder was set aside in the fridge. Early this morning, for close to 2 hours straight, I was throwing up all over the place!!!!! Shortly thereafter my kids one by one were running to the toilet crying for stomach pains. (Sorry TMI) After nearly 6 hours of being in agony and debating whether to call the ambulance, I fell asleep. I later asked my eldest son to throw the food in the garbage and the smell that radiated from the container and permeated into the air was atrocious! I am not trying to bad mouth no one s business, but this ain t it. Please, please, please it is mandatory to be knowledgeable in proper food handling, food and safety practices and committing to adhering to rules without ever having to cut corners to save money like so many restaurants are guilty of doing. Unfortunately, after this experience, I must say that I will not be returning.

Went to this place after reading the reviews. I loved it! The service was nice. I asked the lady what sauce to put on my rice and she said go with the oxtail sauce and it was in point. The jerk chicken had a great flavor and the fried chicken is addictive crispy and juicy. I gotta say my favorite was the festival. Wow it was amazing. The rice and pea was the best. the flavor was unique and very good. They have a large drink selection as well. Do not hesitate to go here.

Been to Flava Ceen three times prior, the food is usually good. Today I ordered through UberEats and everything was horrible. The salmon tastes weird no seasoning or flavor but the pasta is alright, not up to the usual standard in flavour though. The snapper I ordered is dry and stiff as if it was cooked yesterday or day before, its not flaky or moist, I ordered it with white rice it came with rice and peas. I ordered vegetarian lasagna I got a spicy jerk chicken lasagna. Not what I ordered. Very disappointed with my order, it was a waste of my money. I ordered a regular jerk chicken and rice from this place, the chicken was extremely cold when I bit into it. I normally order curry goat which is always hot but this time I decided to try something different and I m extremely disappointed. Also the portion I got was extremely small and I ordered a REGULAR size not lunch special.

I will start off by saying it is always best to buy food early from any places as the quality is always better. In this instance, it couldnt be helped. What could be improved upon is the storage of the food. The fried chicken, festival and other chicken were just sitting on a shelf. Nothing to keep it warm, which is just inviting bacteria to develop. If they were in a food warmer, maybe the food would taste a bit more fresh. But when it comes to dumpling, those usally get tough in a short period of time so they really should be made fresh per order or frequently like I have seen other restaurants done. When I bit into, it was clear some part of it was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and the other part was tough. The same goes for the fried chicken. The oxtail seems it could be cooked longer or maybe they mixed two different batches, one cooking longer than the other. Some of it was fall off the bone and some had a bit more resistance. It also could use a bit more flavor. The jerk chicken was ok. Unless jerk chicken is made the traditional way, which is on the jerk pan, dont expect too much in taste from a lot of restaurant. The potato salad was decent. The coleslaw was spoilt so I threw it out. That was really disappointing. If the other areas were improved upon then I could give it a 3 or 4. Keep in mind that isnt a place you can sit an eat in. You have to get your food to go.

This is my go to Caribbean restaurant anytime I am in Etobicoke. Hands down the chef can cook. Friendly staff of course. But the food is excellent , portion is great and the taste is so tasty and yummy. Try the BBQ chicken, the jerk chicken and the stew chicken. You won t regret it.

I love their food but for some reason every time i order through ubereats, i never receive my drink.......... first time my order was missing the ginger beer and second time was the tropical rhythm juice. im not going to instruct the uber driver to open the bag and check through my order. its not their job when the bag is stapled shut. so is there anyway i can get the item i paid for? i dont want to get a refund. just want what i ordered to be right or at least be asked if i want a substitution if its not available.

This restaurant looks decent, but the service was absolutely ghetto. There was no supervisor or manager in the store to address the issues we had & the cashier didn t mention that they couldnt give me paper receipt. I ended up having to give my phone number to receive a receipt. You also cant eat inside - take out only. Would never visit this restaurant again.

Please keep in mind this place is TAKE OUT ONLY they really should remove dine in from their services on google. I love the variety of food AND drinks that they have there. If you re like me and need something sweet after salty they have cheesecake there for you. The lady at the front was very friendly. I got the bbq chicken dinner with rice and peas with oxtail gravy. When I tell you the oxtail gravy had a nice kick of spice that I wasn t ready for, I was pleasantly surprised. I also got a side of Mac and cheese it was okay, I felt like it was KD mixed with their own type of seasoning with it. I gave it a 6/10. It was nice and creamy though! This place is a really nice place to eat the chicken and rice tasted amazing and the portions were good. I could only eat half of my food

Is there new ownership?! The quality of the food has DRASTICALLY decreased. I used to order from here at least once a week, now its - if I cant find anything else. The jerk chicken I used to get all the time is now a few pieces of old dry meat. Its not even 6 full pieces! I used to love this place and recommended it to everyone. I thought, maybe I was just unlucky the last 3 times, so I tried to order again to give it another chance and this is what I got.. Tiny, old tasting, jerked pieces of dry meat meant for stew or curry chicken. Though the service and mannagement is great (to me), I cant even recommend it to people anymore out of fear they might face the same disappointment. A year ago, it was 6 stars. Now, for me, its a 2. Sorry. Ill check back in a couple months when the disappointment has worn off.

Oxtail always fall-off-the-bone. Curried goat always good flavour and the jerk chicken most times actually tastes smoked!

I had Curry goat yesterday and by far the very best i ever had, I tried about 10 or more places including Mr.jerk, Tropical island Caribbean cuisine, Willys jerk, Tropical Joes etc..Flava ceen comes in at #1, good portion, good ratio meat and rice and the coleslaw was excellent almost as good as mine lol. I definitely will be coming back at least while Im in the hospital or in the area. Thank you Flava Ceen and keep up the good work. Yum .

Did a Uber Eats Monday 2 jerk chicken Mac & cheese with a side order of jerk pork was burnt but with my understanding from the owner in self the ovens were down due to mechanical issues where I left a message for him to get in contact with me to let him know the jerk pork was burnt he got back to me explain what had happened it s a big deal for restaurants owner who don t wanna serve burnt food to people and brings concerns but overall food was top notch first time I had Flava ceen was lit big unu chef and owner employees for running a great community restaurant.

So much flavour. And staff is really nice. Great experience there.

Best oxtail in all of the GTA hands down!

I had to go here to buy my dinner. Their lamb was really good. I also reached out for that rum cheesecake and mmm mmm mmm. The girl at the front was friendly and attentive to her customer. She asked if I still wanted the coleslaw on my rice. Absolutely!! I do recommend this location especially when you re hungry. They have various specialties and many options for cheesecakes. They also have tropical drinks on the side. Go see for yourself!

The best goat curry Ive tasted amongst all Caribbean restaurants in Toronto GTA. The rice and peas and roti were fresh too and of more than adequate portions. The jerk chicken, overshadowed by the curry goat, is still a winner. Chaleen was kind enough to go over the entire menu and her patience, yet smiling personality, was much appreciated! Highly recommend Flava Ceen for some quality Carribean food!!! PS - no dine in

Absolutely love this spot. Service on point but the food .. the food is what s up!! I drive 30 minutes just to go here as a friend in the area introduced me. So worth the drive.

So Im at a corse all weekend at Humber College. The food wasnt great so I found this place on Friday night. The jerk chicken was amazing. I went back for lunch the next day. The Curry chicken roti was top notch. I went back for dinner that night. The oxtail was stewed perfectly and hit the spot. I went back for lunch on Sunday. The fried chicken was so dam good. The only problem with this place is that I know have to go home to Stratford and I have to figure out how to get back here or figure out uber eats from Toronto to Stratford!!!! People are extremely, nice, super clean, and my gawd the food is unre This place is killer and I absolutely love it

If I could give more stars I would! The food is so delicious. Plenty flavour, well seasoned and they give a nice size portion. My co workers and I get their jerk chicken and rice and peas almost every other week! Its our go to place for lunch.

Just ordered the fried chicken and veggie lasagna and I m surprised at how good it was!!! Definitely will be one of my new go to Uber eats order around here.

I like the place, nice and clean. The owner is nice and friendly. The food portions are decent. Ive only had the jerk and barbecue chicken. So, my judgement is based off of that. The only thing they need to do is give more coleslaw! My God! Its like this amount of food with a tiny little amount if coleslaw that insulting. Most places would give you more coleslaw or veggies, especially if asked. If they can do that maybe then it would be a 4/5 at most in my humble honest opinion.

Food is good i agreed but i never been to a yard place where they dont have hot sauce. Went there like 4-5 cause i was watching my grandmother at the hospital across the street. Each time i went i asked for hot sauce the girl there just give a dirty look on her face and said we dont have. I thought the first time they ran out but after the 4th time. Like come on you charge so much for your food but couldnt give or make extra hot sauce especially if you know it runs out fast. Even give me the bottle hot sauce.

I love all their food everything A1. I just dont understand how that little blonde ponytail lady still works here. They should keep her in the back. Zero customer service not even a smile. Ruins my appetite every time. Everyone else so friendly.

Food is always good

The food was amazing! The curry goat was delicious and well seasoned, the rice and peas was rich with all the right ingredients! The curry goat was so tender it fell right off the bone! My friend had the escoveitch snapper with oxtail gravy and she agrees that the food was mouthwatering and tantalizes your taste buds.

Owner is incredibly nice along with staff! Great atmosphere, flavourful food and always have dishes available. I will continue to come back here for my lunch during a 12 hours shift!!

1st time trying I got the jerk chicken with curry goat gravy, with a side of Mac pie... everything tastes delicious! Only issue I had was the rice n peas was made with brown rice. I personally prefer white rice

THE BEST my favourite is the chicken. Jerk, BBQ, fried it doesnt matter. Juicy and succulent every time!! And the flavour . If you are looking for authentic Jamaica cuisine look no further. They are also not stingy on their portion sizes. Their prices are reasonable, and they have lunch specials. Finally I always receive excellent customer service which makes me come back again and again.

Amazing service, and great experience

First off just wanna say the food is ok but service was terrible. I came in to order the lunch special which is 7.99 and says u can choose any type of chicken on the board . Well that s not the case. I walked in and the lady was helping the women in front of me. When it was my turn to order the women behind the counter completely ignored me and went on her phone after she stared at me then goes to the back. Once another customer came in she ignored me once again and helped that customer(barely acknowledging me mind you) i should have just left at this point! But she continued on and once again I m standing by the cash to order she prepared another customers order and looked at me to move .. no customer service at all .. after that a good 5-10 mins go by and her helping two other customers who came in after me ! Only then she was willing to take my order! She was rude when taking my order and told me the lunch special is only for 3 types of chicken. Even tho their sign says any kind of chicken .. just everything about this place screams bad customer service I told her no spice she didn t even listen .. she handed me my order in such a rude way might I add (I have never been treated like this before) I wouldn t recommend this place at all just all around terrible experience! This will be my first and last time here! they really need to have a better system to help their customers instead of being negligent, and rude. She looked like she didn t wanna be there at all .. I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone. Simply never again.

This food was catered for our film crew and I was thoroughly impressed by every option! Breakfast, lunch AND dinner was delicious! Jerk Lasagna is now my new favourite food! Will definitely order for my future events

This place is the BOMB! My new favorite Jamaican place. Not many Jerk establishments do the jerk pork justice (many dont even offer the pork), but the jerk pork here is tender, not too tender that its falling apart, so flavorful, so tasty, with a nice mix of lean and fatty cuts. The oxtail is amazing (dont forget the extra gravy), and the curry goat is tender with a bit of chew and, again, great flavor. They even offer some simple salads so you dont feel so heavy. If you like spicy, dont forget the little in-house scotch bonnet pepper hot sauce cups. They are fire They take card, and you can get the jerk by the pound to feed a family. Take out only, no bathroom. Parking: Free parking in the plaza Wheelchair accessibility: No problems for wheelchairs.

Jerk chicken is incredibly flavorful, perfect amount of spice and nice and smoky. The numerous times Ive went Ive always gotten two drumsticks and two thigh pieces; this consistancy is very nice. Rice and peas is perfect, flavourful and not too dry or moist. Oxtail is top tier. I could eat just the sauce with rice and peas for days. Similar flavor to the oxtail at the now closed Tastees location @hwy7&Leslie. Fry Chicken was nice and crispy yet still moist and very flavorful. Reasonable price considering the portions. Ive yet to find a better spot for quick serve Carribbean food

THE BEST food by far! The food is well seasoned and has flavour, and I love their variety. Love their cheesecake as well and the fact that you dont get an attitude from the servers like most Jamaican restaurants is a major plus. They are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend you will not be disappointed.

I work around the corner and its my current favorite spot!! The flava in Flava Ceen aint no joke, all the food Ive had there has been nothing short of fantastic, among the best curry goat and oxtail Ive ever had, no cap!! I eat there at least 1-2 times a week!!

This place is so good! I had the Lunch Special - Jerk Chicken, rice, slaw & a pop. Super affordable and the staff are so nice :) Update - Try the Jerk Chicken Lasagna! Its so delicious. All the good things you like about normal lasagna, but way better. Did I mention how good the food is? Vegetarian options: Saw some veggie options for patties Dietary restrictions: luckily for me I have no Dietary restrictions. There is a lot of different options for people who sadly do though. I am a huge fan of this place- it never disappoints me, Super affable service. The menu was fresh and delicious. Will surely recommend this spot to others. Fair prices and big portions. I tried the oxtail and while the taste wasn t bad, the server gave me way too little. Not to mention majority of it was all bone. Definitely not worth $20. Won t be coming back. Don t recommend you spend your money on overpriced food!

Best jerk chicken in Toronto ..

I am limited by the number of stars, if I could I would give them more than 5 stars.Their jerk chicken is delicious and it is my go to place. It is clean and the staff does an exceptional job to make you feel good for the few moments you are in the restaurant. Overall great experience.

OMG, We LOVE Flavas! Their fried chicken has the best flavor Ive ever tasted. OG. Their Jerk Salad is so bomb. I highly recommend it! Mmmmmm Parking: The parking lot has plenty of spaces.
