Cantonese Gourmet Chinese Food in Etobicoke

Just picked up from this place -- the worst. We just threw $40 worth of inedible food in the garage.

Food is good, not too greasy but the lady is rude af lmao

9/10 food was overall good.

This was my first time here and my last! The lady that works there is so rude and dismissive when you ask her a question. She literally walked away from me while nodding her head as an answer to my question. Since it was my first time, I needed some guidance so I let her know that I wanted a meal for just one person - noodles, lemon chicken and general tao chicken. She said 70$! Lol I was like maybe she didn t hear me right, so I said for one person? She said yes, so I said ok then I ll just get lemon chicken and it came up to 27$. How does adding an item make it 43$ more??? That didn t make sense. I was not surprised with the service received that the food was just as disappointing. The lemon chicken was rubbery, pale and I had to add my own sauce at home to make the noodles somewhat edible. I ended up throwing more than half of it out. Complete waste of money!

Staff was courteous. Food was delivered fast and still hot. Delivery person was friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Prices are good for quantity and quality. This will be my new go to for Cantonese food.

This place is an absolute gem. I got delivery here for the first time and was very impressed. The food is classic takeout and was great quality, hot, fresh and delicious. The spring rolls and BBQ pork fried rice were my favourites. Highly recommend.

Meh Chicken fried rice, cashew and general zao chicken Food

We ordered chicken balls, chicken fried rice, general Tao chicken and black pepper beef. The rice was OK however everything else was barely even edible.

Food was ready shortly after we ordered. It was fresh, tasty and priced well. Crispy beef could be a little better, but we were happy with the rice and combos.

The food seemed very old and stail. Chicken was hard.. not sure if it was someones old order.. just seemed odd.. I never had food like this before from the restaurant. Just hope it was just this once!!

Ordered the lemon chicken- the chicken itself was quite dry but the dish came with the sauce prepoured on so by the time we got home the breading was spongey. The beef dish we ordered was good though & portions were decent.

Tried this place years ago and did not like it but now it is very good food, prices are good as well. And now prices are way up like everywhere.

I ordered a pork rib rice. It was all bones and cartilage without meat. The taste is suitable for foreigners. Forget it for Chinese people.

Not everything on the menu is good, but if you stick to what they do well, you ll be a satisfied customer. Their Cantonese chow mein is my favourite that I ve had from any takeout spots. Fried rice, chicken balls, bbq pork, soo guy, chicken wings, spare ribs and egg rolls are all good. Stay away from the general Tao and lemon chicken. Good prices and if you do cash pick up, you get a 10% discount.

The place looks a little old fashioned, but the food is really good. Yes, most of it is westernized Chinese food, but I dont consider that an issue. My authentic Cantonese wife loved everything. The chicken balls are some of the best in the area, the yeung chow fried rice had really fresh shrimp in it--made the proper way with marinating in baking soda to keep the bouncy texture. You could taste the wok hae in the chicken fried rice. This will probably be my new go-to fast food Chinese restaurant now.

I like all the basics on the menu every time we order. Lots of selections, fair prices, decent sized servings. Delivery is fast and friendly. They do special things off menu when Im extra picky and they never screw it up! The food is good, I love the black bean sauce and the ginger-onion beef. They take debit at the door, the combos are good - nothing negative to say, I really like ordering from here!

Definitely the best Western-Chinese in Torontos West end. If youre looking for comfort food this is definitely it. Plus everyone was very friendly, both over the phone and in person.

Pretty good and very reasonably priced. We got 4 egg rolls, pork fried rice, wonton soup, general Tao chicken, chicken balls and Cantonese chow mein. It was $50 with tax (you get a 10% discount if you pick up and pay cash). Recommend the Cantonese chow mein and pork fried rice. Chow mein had lots of meat and veggies in it, and the pork in the fried rice was nice and juicy. General Tao wasn t very good - wouldn t get again. But overall, the food was good and I d get it again.

The restaurant is small with a just few tables and looks a bit rundown but Im glad I made the decision to give it try. I was pleasantly surprised as to how good their food was. I had the sweet and sour pork ribs with fried rice and chicken chow mein. My friend had the same except with sweet and sour chicken balls. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu.

You never have to wait too long for your food, and the food is delicious. So happy we tried this place

Dont waste your time with this place I placed and order she got it completely wrong then got mad when I came back to return it. I asked for money back and wont ever come back plus the food looked terrible.

HAIR IN FOOD. This was my first purchase and unfortunately, possibly the last. Found hair so deeply wedged in chicken like it was mixed in with the flour.... Disappointing.

Walked in and the first thing I smelled was cigarette smoke. How in 2020 can anyone smoke in their place of business, a restaurant of all places. I would highly question the cleanliness and hygiene of the restruant and ownership. Walked in and pretty much walked out within 20 seconds.

The food was good to very good Weve tried a few different Chinese food restaurants since our favourite one is closed down Im like my other Chinese food review at least everything got eaten here We ordered the combo for dinner of 6 The noodles the rice the vegetables and beef were very good However I wasnt impressed with the deep fried stuff Chicken bowls and breaded shrimp were very chewy not the meat portion the breaded part I also found the fried chicken wings a little well done However it is in the best out of the three weve tried so far I will definitely try it again in hopes they were just in the fryer a little too long

Was craving Chinese food late one night and stopped by this little place. Did not leave disappointed. Ordered my food and they brought out my order to my car in record time. The food was great and adequately satisfied my craving. Bring cash!

This was disgusting. The entire meal was made fresh but taste so stale. The only good thing was the breaded shrimp. Other than that everything else was stale as hell. Stay away.

Delicious, affordable, and friendly staff. They catered to our team of 30+ on a Saturday at 12PM when they normally open at 4PM and even delivered everything to us! We will definitely be eating here again. Thank you!

The food is classic Chinese food. Quality is decent, not amazing but very good for the price. When we went there were two older ladies running the place. Felt like getting food from a Chinese grandma :)

Great prices and great selection. What I liked about this place was the food menu had actual photos of the dishes, which made it super easy to select and to know what the food actually looks like. I cant stress enough the food is delicious and the prices are very good. You get a huge container for the food that you order.

Got food from here for the first time, very disappointed. I got their C16 combo and the chicken balls were cold, and gave a disgusting refrigerator taste, definitely frozen and not heated properly. The fried rice was bland, no taste whatsoever. Chicken wings and egg roll were the only good thing, but the wings were so skinny it felt like u were eating bone most of the time. To sum it up, Its definitely not fresh food as i felt i was given microwaved food. I ended up telling me colleagues about this place, and they also had a similar

This was the worst Chinese food i have ever had. I could only take 2 bites. Within less than 24 hours i was sick. I would never go back there nor would i ever suggest this place to someone. It was disgusting. The rice had freezer burn and a awful taste and smell. Chicken was just fried and some gross brown sauce was thrown on it.
