I had a fantastic experience at D Spot dessert place! Although my order was initially incorrect, the staff were incredibly cooperative and handled the situation with great care. The owner, Rahim Bhai, went above and beyond by personally hand-delivering the correct order to my place. Their customer service was exceptional, and the desserts were delicious. Highly recommend D Spot for both the treats and the outstanding service!

Service sucks. They greet you as soon as you come in and take forever to come back to the table to take ur order. I ordered the two can fondue and was served cold with no candle at the bottom I had to ask them to bring the candle and then ask them a separate time to actually light the candle... It would take ages for that tiny candle to heat up all that chocolate that shouldve been brought already hot and when I asked for that to not be charged on my bill as I hardly ate any they said it was too late I shouldve told them the moment they dropped the food off to my table. As if I can tell its cold before tasting it...

We are regulars at this place but haven t frequented in a while. After having a great time with my mother I asked for the check yet my waiter gave the checks to many people near us. I would like to think it was a misunderstanding but we get this a lot as Muslim women. We are hoping this will never happen again

I visited the restaurant because it was open late, and I was craving a sweet treat, specifically a crepe. Their menu featured some enticing options, so I decided to give it a try. I went late at night and only ordered one item. I chose the Strawberry Banana and Nutella Crepe. The dish appeared larger than it actually was because it was overloaded with vanilla ice cream. This made me realize how poor the portion sizes of the crepe and fruit were by comparison. Additionally, I was disappointed with the quality of the ice cream. For a dish priced at around $25, I expected better quality. The ice cream tasted cheap, and I suspect it might have been a frozen treat like Breyer s, rather than real ice cream. To make matters worse, the ice cream melted quickly, creating a mess on the plate and making the crepe soggy. The portion of Nutella provided was also inadequate just a shot glass, which seemed minimal compared to the excessive amount of ice cream. While the crepe itself was fresh and tasty, the small amount of Nutella and the poor quality of the ice cream were major drawbacks. Given the high price, this felt like a significant rip-off. Despite my dissatisfaction with the portions, quality, and especially the price, I believe there is potential in the dish. The crepe and fruit were good and fresh, and with more Nutella, better-quality ice cream, and a larger crepe, it could be improved. However, given the current state of the dish and the high cost, I wouldn t order it again. If youre willing to spend this much on a dessert, I recommend trying Demetre s Cafe, where the quality and portions are far superior. Overall, I suggest saving your money and not going here, though I cant speak for their other items, which may be worth trying.

Came here at 9:30pm, took almost 1 hour to get a single plate of ice cream. The store is busy but the wait time is just so ridiculous.

It was my first time at a D Spot Dessert Cafe and was quite impressed with the large selection of desserts and drinks they offered. The restuarant also serves, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, poutine, and sandwiches if youre looking for something more savoury. I ordered the Karak Chai, and MyTreat (croffle, topped with cheesecke bites, graham crumbs, strawberry coulis, and white chocolate sauce, with a side of vanilla ice cream). The chai latte was a nice compliment to the dessert. The croffle was enjoyable, but the ice cream wasnt to my liking. It tasted low quality and a bit artificial in my opinion. The portions were huge, and one order can be shared between two people. My partner and I ordered one dessert each and couldnt finish our shares, but we were still a bit full from dinner. The Etobicoke location has a bright airy feel, with plenty of seating, great for both large and small groups. The staff here were also welcoming, and efficient.

My kids and I choose D Spot over Demetris. Although they seem similar, their menu has more to offer (and yes, both places are great & allow customization) Weve been here a few times and service is hit or miss. Best experience, everything went smoothly as a normal visit. Worst experience, seated ourselves, got the menu ourselves, went to the server to give our order & went to the server to ask for the bill and a takeout container. In all fairness, I asked if the man was alone (my guess) so Id give him credit, but there were only 2 tables to serve that hour and every time I walked up to him, he was on his cell phone. -Free Parking across the street at the cineplex. -Free Parking beside them is mostly for the LCBO -LCBO & Cineplex are within walking distance But D Spots menu has more than just dessert items

Ive recently discovered this restaurant on Uber Eats. The food is fantastic! They have such a wide variety of foods to choose from, and my orders are always delicious! I thought the ice cream Id ordered would possibly be melted by the time it got to my place, but it was still frozen when it was delivered. The pizza and the skillet cookies are amazing! Highly recommended! A++

Best place to go after if you are a dessert lover.

The employees here are good and welcoming. My mood changed when I found out their whipped cream is the Gay Lea s whipped in a can! This is a dessert restaurant isn t? Why use a canned whipped instead of making your own, bubble tea places use real whip and here for a dessert use artificially flavoured whipped cream. All desserts are served with CANNED WHIPPED CREAM made with high amount of sugar. worst ice cream I ve had other than Chapman s. The moment I poked my ice cream with a fork frozen pieces fell in between the ice cream. Maybe because I ordered unpopular flavour (pistachio), perhaps that s the reason behind the horrendous taste. Next thing I did was I mixed the ice cream which enhanced the pistachio taste it s missing from overly frozen texture. But sadly, it still tasted wrong. Please throw out your current batch because I ve had pistachio different ways (ice cream, Turkish ice cream and gelato) and the brand you have here is just added with real pistachio to mask the bad quality. The crepe tasted nothing like a crepe. Go to Demetre s next time, Creperie at North York, or Sugar Hill at Vaughan. Overall, great interior and music but won t come back.

One of the best dessert place I had been to in Toronto. They have a wide variety of menu. I loved their waffle and tiramisu cheesecake. We tried their chocolava cake with icecream, ferrero rotcher Shake. They were yummy too. The richness is absolutely awesome.

Went with my sisters and I to D Spot, which was our first time coming to this location. Overall service and food was great, the servers were super attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. Lots of selections to choose from and most of the desserts weren t too sweet which was a plus for us. My sisters and I ordered different items and were understanding to our dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was light and bustling with people looking for a late night snack/dessert. Great establishment overall!

I ordered a banana and strawberry smoothie from them, and it was in very bad condition. I threw it in the garbage. It was the worst smoothie in history, filled with pieces of ice like stones. In addition, it was completely devoid of taste. I do not recommend this branch at all, and the employees also reek of sweat, which is extremely disgusting!!!

Overall great experience for a sweet tooth lover. Our server Aliff served us with patience, great recommendations and a smile. We ordered the Steak and Cheese pizza to share for a group. I ordered the Blue lagoon mojito and a Simply Perfect Croffle which was just a tad crunchier than I would like. However, there are vegan and a wide variety of choices. Everything else was well. Cleanliness, great decor and atmosphere with some cool tunes in the background. Will be back and ask for Aliff to test you on the chapters from the menu

Since being renovated the place looks great. Clean, and brightly lit. Savory food was fresh, hot and delicious, and the best part is everything is halal. For dessert had the brulee/biscoff crepe. Loved the crunchy bits with the soft crepe! The desserts are ginormous, and easily can be shared by 4 people. Definitely recommend a visit.

Mmmm. So good, came here around 1am on my birthday for an early celebration so happy we did. We had the brownie, peanut butter skillet cookie & a Ferror Rocher milkshake. Highly recommend all of them! One piece of advice I would give, and the reason I gave the atmosphere 2 stars is because it was SO BRIGHT. We came in after midnight and it was too bright, we would ve loved a more dim experience.

The taste of vanilla tea was normal, Earl Gray tea is better. The cheesecake and redolute were very good. The Nutella wrap also had a lot of fruits, and in total, one order is enough for two people if you dont want to waste it.

D-spot is a restaurant that can go either way depending on how willing you are to consume copious amounts of food. Dont get me wrong, the deserts are delicious, but theres one issue; every single desert is extremely calorie dense. So much so that there is a waffle available on the menu that is over 3000 calories! Thats near a day and a halfs worth of calories! Even split between two people, its 1500, which is still absurd. While there are fewer calorie dense items on the menu, unless youre looking to share with someone, they dont often exist the 1000-2000 range. Great taste, but I dont plan on coming back very soon. Still full from this meal. Atmosphere was also nice, had an old-timey look to it. 4/5

If you want to visit an establishment with the worst customer service in Toronto then this is your place. I ve never experienced service that is this abominable. While I was there with a friend, a server came up to us with an extreme attitude and said are you done because it s busy now . Rather than asking us if we would like to order anything else or have any type of manners. Even if the food was worth it, I would never return here.

I usually love this place, however this will be the last time I ever go back. I went here for my birthday with two friends. We were say quickly however after being brought water that had food inside it everything went down hill. We saw our server once to take our order and bring us the food a that was it. While sitting I had a cockroach crawl across the back of my bench and then a second one about 5 minutes later. After finally being able to flag someone down I notified the worker and his response was okay and what would you like me to do. DISGUSTING AND HORRIFYING response. I will never return here and advise others to find a new location too.

Went to dspot Queensway location last night. We were a family of 9, got seated pretty quickly. The service was absolutely amazing, staff were on point, even though the place absolutely packed. Our savoury orders arrived pretty quickly and all the items from the pizzas to the putines were really good. Following that our drinks and desserts arrived and they were all exceptional. I would definitely recommend (the hidden gem, cookielicious. The owner (Rahim) happened to be at the store, he stopped by and introduced himself to us and made sure that our stay was good. I also noticed that he did that with most tables and it seemed like most the customer knew him, I guess that personal touch made him familiar to his customers. The service was excellent the food was great overall, an excellent experience, hence the 5 stars.

Only place for Chocolate lovers. If you have sweet tooth then visit this place for your comfort food. We ordered Red velvet cheese cake along with chocolate cake. It s juicy and delicious,not too sweet. Precise use of ingredients that makes this cakes unique from other outlets. Then we ordered veggie poutine and hot chocolate. Veggie poutine wasn t good match with sweet items so avoid if you ordered something sweet,however hot chocolate is a perfect combo in winter. Overall it s a decent place for desserts and beverages.

This particular D-spot is my favourite! They have an amazing staff working for them and are willing to go out of their way to help you like the dishes youre ordering !! Very accommodating to childrens needs which really helps. We have narrowed it down to their Steak and cheese pizza (we substitute it many times with chicken) and their chicken pesto (my go to).. They definitely have a LARGE variety of desserts! They have a crepe with warm apple pie filling with Graham crackers and caramel sauce (cant remember the name) which is fantastic! They also use Nutella in all their orders and not chocolate syrup like other franchises we have experienced.

Their portions are heavenly and so is the taste :) we ordered the crepe with strawberry ice cream minus the strawberry drizzle and had white chocolate on the side. It was fresh, delicious and was shared by 5 people

I wish there was no star options for this place I was with a group everyone paid for their own bill and my bill was to be 18.02$ and they over charged me with another 32$ I called to complain some lady picked up saying it was someone else is bill she kept giving different excuses saying she will get back but they never got back to me I kept calling another guy picked up the same thing such liars and bad customer services please don t use your card here stay safe make sure you check don t be a victim like me taking extra money from people that s not meant for you won t get you no where Oh and the fries were super horrible such a waste of money I m really surprised this location was just a bad bad experience

We went to this place when a friend suggested. We tried their Chicken Poutine, Chicken Pizza. Croffles and their Amazing breakfast pancakes. I must say everything was too good. If you want to explore places and want to have have some amazing food, dont miss this place. We would definitely visit again.

The ice cream isnt bad, and there are many options. Its definitely very sweet and super heavy with all that use of cream. But the food is very low quality - not even sure why they have entrees that are so elaborate, like poutine? And even though we were there for a birthday, we were rushed through our order and then had to wait a long time (and no, it wasnt closing time, it wasnt busy - Tuesday, and there was just 3 of us). Never got our water refilled either. Overall, didnt meet the expectations in terms of quality and service.

3 Years Later facelift new renovations more comfortable seating make for a better experience but too many lights overly bright. Had to wait a little to be seated but fair as it was busy staff need to be quicker in cleaning up and please dont let diners sit with their feet bare in booths gross. Overpriced in a sense $15 for a chipotle poutine cheese was kind of cold $12 for a parfait just enough sweetness and $8.99 hot dog total came to $37 .

I really liked the service the provided. I reached around closing time for patio. However I mention that I ve pets they allowed us to use the patio and they also served us complimentary whipped cream and bowl of water for dogs. If I talk about the food, it s really amazing. Being a pure vegetarian where I don t even eat eggs my fav dish is veg poutine. Also their hot and cold chocolate drink is amazing. The ambience and atmosphere is really good. The staff really friendly and welcoming. Must visit this place

Stopped by this dessert space one Saturday recently while in the area for a snack. Upside down birthday cakes as lighting and a fun & party atmosphere with a bountiful menu of drinks, desserts and popular meal items. We started with an iced lemonade and sweetened matcha latte followed by a strawberry/banana crepe drizzled with Nutella and a strawberry cheesecake parfait. My parfait was surprisingly light and very good. The service was quick and friendly with the staff happy to explain in detail their many dessert items. Would make a great place to have a birthday party or following a movie across the street. Competitively priced. Parking available.

Went there tonight with a group of friends and some of my friends have disabilities and I noticed a few employees laughing and starring at my table. This was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR and for the employees to still be laughing in the corner as we left showed how little regard they have for others who maybe different from them. I will never be returning to this location agian. Especially after the fact there was a group of employees working tonight and the other employees did not step in to address the disrespect of their disrespectful coworkers actions towards a group of handicap individuals.

Long wait at pickups everytime

We loved our experience and the food at Dspot! Our server Pryanka was so friendly and checked in on us regularly. Great service and dessert! Thank you Dspot and Pryanka.

I was a regular at dspot before, but now the service is not good anymore and the staff ignores most people all the time. My regular server was a girl who had curly hair I dont think works anymore there. She was very sweet and really attentive towards the customer. The management is completely changed, not worth it anymore.

I went to this Dspot on Sunday afternoon and it wasnt too busy as we left around 3pm many people started to settle in. My friend and I enjoyed the food. The dish in the photo is called Heaven on Earth and it was a lot of chocolate. The mango Italian soda and the milkshake were yummy. The price of some of the desserts seemed slightly unreasonable, but I would recommend for a special occasion. The staff were very nice and provided great service.

Bad service and the they re so cheap

By far the best franchisee owner!!! Raheem really knows and understands how to please his clientele. He has a great system that works and not only that, he must be a great leader because all of his staff share in his passion for making amazing desserts and treating ppl with respect. The reason I had to leave this is because of the consistency, and that we visited another location (eglinton/dixie) while etobicokes location was undergoing renos and the staff were absolutely horrifyingly the complete opposite. The store owner/manager did not care whatsoever about us and when we finally received our crepes they looked and tasted nothing like the way this location does things! Lied to us and charged us $4 extra for ice cream when it came with the chill to the cone menu option to begin with and then gave us..literally a tablespoonful of ice cream..by the time it was plated and reached our table it was mush from the warm plate. When I asked why does the portion look like this, i was told we follow portion regulation is that even a thing . When I tried to speak to the manager she had a real nasty attitude and sent someone else after walking away. She then proceeded to angrily make my friends crepe with bare hands after touching money and bussing countless other tables and touching her face (zero hand washing) dropped his crepe and then still proceeded to plate it(did not know I could see her) and that was the end of the line for me! We tried dixie/eglinton location 2x with different friends to give them another shot and it was the same but worse experience, (this being described as our last). The manager is supposed to be the leader it is no wonder that with her extremely poor skill..and stench coming from her clothing (extreme heavy odd smelling perfume) that the rest of the employees followed suit! We left early, our friends got the wrong crepe and we didnt even finish I paid and left a tip still. We will always cherish the south etobicokes very best DSPOT location as setting the bar so high for the others to match. So happy its reopened and even better than ever looking so dapper!. TIP: ask for the Johnny special Thanks to Raheem and the team for keeping it , % of the time! Johnny!

Perfect spot for a sweet treat getaway. Amazing menu selection like croffles and ice creams, theyve got it all. Wonderful presentation. Ive been here 3 times, and its always a hit with my friends. Its a great place to bring friends for a gathering, as everyone can find something they love. The only minor hiccup is parking, which can be a little challenging, but trust me, its totally worth it. If you have a sweet tooth and want a dessert experience like no other, try D Sport Dessert.

This is a perfect spot for a day out with family or friends! Food: we had crepes and the portion sizes were huge! They were tasty but I think bordered too sweet (might just be a preference on my end). We ll try something else when we go back. Service: Helpful and attentive servers. Atmosphere: Fun and light which fits the dessert theme perfectly!

Mind blowing variety of desserts. Absolutely freaking delicious food options in waffles, crepes, milk shakes and even pizza. Ambiance of this cafe is mix of urban and classic theme. Helpful and cheerful service representatives. If your order takes time have some patience cause the food on your plate gonna be best dessert of your day. Best place for date nights on Friday. Their extended work hours on weekends make it more convenient for spending time with your loved one while munching deliciousness

Always nice to visit a small dessert shop with a variety of options. The interior is heavily underrated for my opinion. Its a great spot to bring someone to after watching movie.

Recently returned and tried their chipotle chicken poutine and I can say confidently this is my new go to. Came here late night after a night event. We were seated quickly. The server was very polite and helped us out for suggestions. We ended grabbing the -BBQ steak poutine -Passionate & Fruitful (opted for Milk chocolate drizzle) Definitely recommend both dishes. I will be back to try out their Chipotle chicken poutine next. Updated since they renovated. Definitely feels like walking into Willy Wonka factory, but found it very bright and too overwhelming.

A good place for desserts in Etobicoke. Close to Islington subway station. They have a huge selection of cakes, pastry, shakes, smoothies, cheese cakes etc. a good place to satiate your sweet-tooth cravings.

Service was terrible, our waiter disappeared. Felt like we were not catered for. Food was good but too many options. I would suggest consolidating their menu so it s not over whelming.
