We ordered a family bucket, chicken was not tasty, and felt like really old chicken! corn was taste like water. We didn’t get the first bucket on us offer either. Guy who was working didn’t let us use the washroom since he was too lazy to clean it before closing although lady was kind enough to open it for us. I don’t think we would ever come here!
The chicken was so salty that it was not edible. I don't know why this was but it sure was a disappointment. Staff was good. I just don't know how or who decides how much salt should be put on. We ended up throwing everything out.
I had a great experience at KFC! The restaurant maintained excellent hygiene, and everything was clean and well-organized. I tried the Zinger combo meal, and it was delicious, with the perfect balance of flavor and crunch. The service was impressively fast, making it a pleasant and hassle-free visit. Best of all everything is HALAL. Highly recommend!
What the heck is going on here? You are losing money and will have to shut the door. The quality is not even good for dog food. I was there at 3PM, September 24, 2024. I Ordered the Tuesday special and the chicken and the fries I got were obviously from lunch time. The contents of the boxes were aged and dry and tasted stale. I must think little of people to serve them scavenger food thinking that they will not that it's not suitable for human consumption. Yes, I tried to eat it because I had not from the night before. I couldn't it. I did then call the store and they pretended to be stupid and was not helpful. There after, I called customer service and the first of two CSRs was lousy, not giving a damn, acted like I wanted free stuff, made false promise of a follow, didn't tell me to get my money, acted l am a nobody. Basically she offered no solutions unlike the second person did on the call back. I will give them sometime to see if they keep their word in mailing me vouchers and if they deny saying that they did, I will pull the audio from my dashcam. Update: Customer service lied about sending a voucher because it never arrived after waiting two months. I called them and three out of the four people should be cleaning toilets instead because they where void of common decency. I asked for someone higher to call me and that never happened. So, I went back to the store to get my money because the voucher had not arrived and at the store, the newly arrived now low end worker of a shift manager refused to give me my money back, refused to talk to me and refused to give her name citing that she doesn't have to give it. Is Asia now here where people can do all this in neglecting customer service? An employee, a kitchen staff member, had to step in and called the restaurant manager to okay the refund. This happened November 16, 2024 This is the service everywhere now of places that refuse to pay higher for quality people. They hire people who are cheap and who bring their brand of customer service. It would have been better if I had bought a TV dinner and Mirco waved it at Sobeys down the street.
I've read the other reviews and I agree with peoples sentiments about the sizes of the KFC pieces and it's been bad for years. Comes out so oily sometimes. But on this day I'm judging only on this trip. I was craving for KFC and I use the app when I can because they have app specials you can't get in store. I was having difficulty inputting my card details and figured the order didn't go thru, so I just went in store to order. Placed my order and while I waited I saw an email from KFC, I thought it was online promotions, but it was the order confirmation from my app! I was surprised and asked the people there if they have an order for me already....and of course they did. The manager who I'm assuming was in the black shirt, heard me and did an awesome thing and refunded my in store order. Very kind of her and awesome service. Some people would've said tough luck. My food I ordered was perfect, hot wings fill up box and a couple of snack wraps. Thanx again KFC 156 Queensway!
Picked up a 4 piece chicken box takeaway via drive through and it was absolutely the worst!!! COLD chicken, TINY pieces and extremely SALTY! Plus they only gave a handful of fries maybe 10. I understand I reached 10 minutes before closing time but the food quality was absolutely unacceptable. I always get Twister sandwich which is good but the chicken pieces were really really bad.
We were delighted to discover that KFC in Canada serves Halal food. Since we are from the United States, where Halal KFC is not available, we decided to give it a try. We placed an order for buckets, popcorn chicken, and burgers. The burgers were excellent, the bucket chicken was satisfactory, and the kids loved the popcorn chicken. Corns taste yummy coleslaw 4/10
Read most of the recent reviews on poor quality food and your expectations have been properly set. We ordered a double bucket feast. 7 of 8 pieces of chicken were mostly just skin, extremely small, and beyond overcooked. The chicken was so dry and burned to the bone.... The gravy, made with the same crackling that comes from the chicken fryer was just a tub of oil from the fryer. It tasted the same as the burned chicken. It didn't stop there with the popcorn chicken and tenders being overcooked to the point of being rubbery and we're served cold. Oh, but the coleslaw was great! If you're ordering instore or picking up, take the annoying step of looking at your food before you leave the store. We came back for a refund, leaving the meal in the bag on the order counter. We won't be returning to a food establishment that doesn't change their oil and tries to pass off unsold, second time-overcooked food to their unsuspecting take out customers... who in most cases wont see their food until they're home and not be willing to bother with coming back for a refund.
Purchased $54.97 in KFC family bucket deal to arrive home to uncooked, oil drenched refried chicken. Absolutely disgusting. Family dinner ruined by poor quality control. Will be contacting KFC headquarters after this disgusting service

I was very offended by the female count employee. I dont eat their food for free. Should I get this unpleasant service while paying? I wanted to see my manager out of displeasure, and she said she was the manager, but she didnt even have the managers name tag. I dont want to feel this way again. The location is a great place. People coming in from work during breaks and also people on the go. Restaurant is designed more nicely inside than outside. What is annoying is the employees working (guessing they are on work permits) speaking in their own language in front of customers. They need to respect Canadian culture and languages. This needs to be put on check by KFC corporate office.

No star should be given. Last week I bought 2 pizza., 10-pc bucket chicken, large fries, coleslaw and potato salad at Chicken was so greasy and salty. I ate 3 pcs chicken wings 1 whole pizza. After may be 15-30 mins, I got stomachache. It was really painful that I don t know how to position myself. I vomited. I threw out all the food that I ate from kfc. I got stomach ache until the next day.

I arrived during last 30 mins of operating and was told I could only order sandwich and fries because it was so close to end of shift. I ordered the sandwich combo and was told it would take at least 7 mins because the chicken would need to be cooked...HUH?!? If thats the case, why could I not order any type of chicken instead of just the sandwich. How much longer would it take for 3 wings to cook compared to the Big Crunch cooking time of 7 mins. Get the sandwich combo and drink and go to my car so that they can continue closing practices of changing garbage bags and sweep/mopping. Get out the sandwich and take a bite and immediately put down my window and spit it out - absolutely horrible sanitizer taste. Throw rest of meal in garbage and return home hungry :(
Tried out the extra crispy Chicken. Tasted very oily personally. I have tried this place out for thier regular chicken meals which are decent. In general the size of the pieces are tiny so not really getting value for money in my opinion
This is defintely the last time Ill be ordering KFC from this location. The chicken is always very greasy. The pieces of chicken are always deformed, besides the drumsticks and wings I dont even know what parts of the chicken Im eating. The gravy is always disgusting, thick and old tasting. Ive always loved KFC since I was a kid but this experience might have put me off for good.

Entire meal are disgusting
Went there for a quick bite cause I was starving. I ordered the 3 piece meal and what I received was basically 1.5 pieces. The thigh was cut in half (first time I ve seen this), the breast was cut in half and a drumstick. I was thinking I ve never seen this before. Do all the KGCs do this? If so when did they start doing this. At any rate will never be going back again and I would advise all of u not to as well. Unless you like paying double for your fried chicken.
Thé place is ok food is good not exceptional but its fried chicken so exactly what you get but the place is small and looks old like its from the 60 its like traveling in the past.

I was there for order pickup. I asked for a washroom but that girl who whose there on a counter gave me weird look and she was not in a mood for shift today maybe. Then there was no toilet paper in the washroom. Again i told her and she gave me weird look once again. Maybe she is doing her job forcefully or i dont know why she is rude to their customers. I recently visited this particular KFC location, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment for the following reasons. Firstly, I found it off-putting that they asked for tips when I was paying. Not only was there no option to leave 0% as a tip, but I also believe that customers should not feel obligated to tip in order to ensure the quality of their food. Unfortunately, I decided not to tip, and as a result, I received some really subpar pieces of chicken. In fact, one of the pieces was not much larger than popcorn chicken, which was highly unsatisfying. Additionally, I noticed that they seemed to be cutting corners when it came to providing essential items such as napkins and plastic cutlery. It felt like they were being stingy in this regard, which further added to my overall disappointment. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting this KFC location. The pressure to tip, coupled with the poor quality of the chicken and their limited supply of napkins and cutlery, left me with a negative impression. I believe there are better alternatives available where you can enjoy a more satisfying meal and receive better customer service.

Completely disappointed, disgusted and won t ever be returning. We ordered dinner for our family and went to pickup. When we got home and opened the food, the gravy had a thick layer of just grease on it and smelled burnt. I ve had KFC for over 10 years and the gravy has NEVER looked or smelled this way. The chicken was all dry and the bones were burnt. The popcorn chicken was like cardboard and the tenders were overly greasy. My kids were hungry so they ate some coleslaw to hold them over while we grabbed something else for dinner. Eaters beware.
This company is working here to embarrass KFC. When asked by the washroom, the people of the company and the manager working there said they could not give it. From here they told me that they have lost 7 so now they dont have the key of the toilet and when I requested them to use their employees toilet they cant use it only for employees its their policy they dont have the key of the customer toilet

Title: Disappointing Experience I recently ordered chicken from KFC via their app for pick-up, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. When I arrived at the restaurant, my order wasnt ready, and the staff seemed unaware that an order had been placed through the app. This was a bit inconvenient but didnt bother me too much. However, the real disappointment came when I got home and tasted the chicken. It was far from fresh; the quality was lacking, and it didnt live up to the KFC standard Ive come to expect. It was disheartening to receive a subpar product after patiently waiting. I hope this feedback helps KFC improve their app ordering process

I ordered bucket chicken with 3 sides and diet pepsi bottle. All of these orders were given in two paper bags. these paper bags cannot hold this much of weight specially with bucket chicken and fries in it. So don t use paper bags for large order or atleast test the durability before using it. I called this kfc branch and let them know as well. So, I do not recommended this kfc for take outs. Plus I order diet pepsi and later found that they gave me regular pepsi. The quality of food was food. For sure, I ate far better kfc chicken in US AND INDIA. First time in Canada KFC and it was a complete disappointment. Its sad!

DO NOT GO HERE. I wish there was a star rating less than 1. The worst customer service you can ever expect. The people working there are clueless and do not value customers. The owner is incredibly greedy judging from the behaviour/lack of training of the employees. Wait times for your food is probably the longest out of any fast food location in Ontario There is no organization. Everyone crowds at the front with no seperation on whos ordered and who has not. The cashier doesnt give out receipts. They just scream the order hoping whoever ordered the food is still there after an hour or more. Not to mention, at January 10 @ 630PM (only one other person working at this time I did not get here name) was extremely rude and condescending at the request for an additional leg piece instead of another piece. She demanded that they cannot give a leg piece instead of a regular piece and basically told us to **** off and leave if we werent happy receiving old small pieces. The entire scenario was embarrassing as there were other customers in the building. There had been numerous times in the past they do not understand or appreciate customer requests and do whatever they want (wrong orders, missing pieces in multiple piece meals etc). They consciously try to give out the smallest, oldest pieces to customers to save a few cents.

I dont eat fried chicken often but sometimes I like to treat myself. I walk into this place and ask for a 4 piece combo. The girl tells me they dont have any white meat chicken only dark meat.... Im like Lady, this is KFC, how can you be out of chicken? That doesnt make any sense to me. How does KFC run out of chicken? Theyre literally a fried chicken joint. Ive tried this location a couple times now and its always something. Old food thats been out awhile, something tastes off and now theyre outta chicken! mfkIN cHkEN!!!

Havent been to KFC since they started serving those ridiculously small pieces of chicken, but saw that they were offering spicy so decided to give them another try. The employee a the counter said there was none ready and that it would take 20-25 minutes. He was surprised when I said that was OK. So I told him I wanted 4 drumsticks and he said he wouldnt be able to do that. Wow. So we left and went to Popeyes around the corner, ordered spicy chicken, received 4 regular sized pieces of chicken and continued with our day. KFC is the worst. I can understand why so many of their locations are closing and Popeyes is growing.

Went back home called KFC they said the refund would be processed and we ordered dinner from elsewhere. Somehow this location got our order and charged us for it. Called again told it would be fixed. No fix they just kept our money.
If youre looking for KFC chicken you will find it here. Its just like all the rest. That being said this location has probably the worst customer service of any location in Toronto. KFC has locations all over the place in Toronto. Stay away from this location like it is The Plague.
Going in person usually isn t that bad, as you can check your order but delivering is not worth it. Two mega fries were both small fries, missed all the dip and left wet drinks on top of the zingers in the bag. It s really a shame how far KFC has fallen off. This used to be my go to location, but now it s bad too. No matter what location you order from they always mess up orders. Even Popeyes and McDonald s do it less

Terrible customer service from both girl at front service and cook in back which I can only assume was owner. Asked for the famous sandwich . Was asked if I wanted it spicy in which I replied yes. I than asked her before my sandwich was made which sauce was put on it she replied Mayo I made sure to repeat.. regular mayo she said yes..mayo. What I received was a sandwich with a red sauce which is continued to insist is Mayo. When I tried to explain mayo is white she rudely shouted at me that it was mayo.. and called the cook out and angrily kept repeating it was mayo! Now both telling me it is mayo. I took the sandwich and threw it out as they both stared at me as if they were right. I will never go back They are inexperience.. rude .. dirty floors and bathroom and no sense of customer service Total waste of money .

We ordered all white bucket..paid an extra $26 for all white and wings...does this look like wings! Also didnt send the chicken burger meal order and the corn was black..the entire meal was disgusting! This was for fathers day $198 down the drain the food was not fit to eat...BTW thats only half the legs the others were still in the box..thats what we had to removebto get to the thighs! Which if they dont know is not white meat either!

This location must have recently gone under new management or ownership. We have ordered from here without issue, but today they forgot my popcorn chicken, and my 10 piece bucket was 6 pieces of undercooked not crispy at all, almost slimy chicken ontop of 3 pieces I ve old, over cooked oil drenched thighs. After reaching out to the management they refused to offer a refund, send out another bucket , or anything at all. I was told if I came into the restaurant WITH the bucket he would exchange the chicken for me (ewww he was actually going to take the food back and give it to someone else) that was not an option for me , as I had ordered DELIVERY and am more than a 20 min walk from the store For the $50 order, he finally offered me 5 free pieces of chicken next time I order. Cashier totally avoids eye contact with everyone in line and when asked why she s ignoring people she says she doesn t want to take orders because the chicken is in the oven. Having over 10 people stand in line and totally avoid them for 10 minutes is absolutely insane to me. But this was just a Bad experience

Worst KFC EVER! They messed up my order and didnt resolve it. They literally did not pay attention to the order. I ordered macaroni salad for my kids and they gave coleslaw. Also the chicken pieces were very small compared to other KFC places.i would avoid this spot

This kfc location use to be good. I normally dont do reviews cause im lazy...BUT do yourself a favor, stay away from here. There chicken is much smaller and a thigh is cut in half and they count it as 2 pieces. Quality of chicken very poor compared to other locations. Just drive down to the next location by East Mall/Queensway, youll appreciate the quality there, worth the extra 5 min drive.

Around 5.30 in the evening, waited in the line for more than 15 minutes to place a order(as only one person was taking the orders) and at our turn (there were only 3 persons before me) they told they were out of chicken legs and it will take another 15-20 minutes for the chicken to come and for a combo of hot and spicy chicken it will take 25 minutes(after that they will start preparing the order). I was literally frustrated with their service and though it is in my neighborhood still don t feel like going back there again.
Today I coming and order 4 special and they charged me $17.13. And I told them just put everything together in one box. When I go home open the box they miss my 1 of my order and the chicken they use are very very small compared to other kfc. Never come back here again
Desmond and his crew are fantastic! Every time I go in, their smiling faces always remember me and my order! They even remember my favourite dipping sauces! I highly recommend this location! Ask for Desmond and Im sure you wont regret it! Thank you for the wonderful service!
Terrible place, you wait in line forever no customer service at all, they just dont care..and food is not as other locations. Looks like management is at fault.!!!

The customer service here is SLOOOOOow... They seem friendly enough though. The problem is the chicken isnt as good as it is at other locations. The pieces are much smaller, and everything is overly salty, and nothing tastes fresh. Also, the parking lot is TINY, but thats not their fault.

The 2 star rating is because it takes forever to get your food. If you walk in and theres someone in front of you it could take 10mins until you even place your order, other than that the food is good. BTW no drive thru.

Smells weird?!!. Terrible food. Chicken had no batter or soggy batter, and worst, smelled like it had been fried wrong or something.
