Ordered a lamb souvlaki on a pita and a chicken souvlaki on a pita with a large Greek salad and honey pita sticks food tasted fantastic however the pitas were not closed properly everything falling everywhere the honey pita sticks were all crushed ontop of each other kinda disappointing to be honest the girl taking the orders and putting them together didn t know what she was doing been coming to this location for years and this is the first time my order was made very sloppy.

Made error in ordering from this place as I always order from Greek Taverna Hut. Lamb was very grizzly and salad was dressed and not as large. Will be sure to order from my regular place next time.

Bought a chicken sandwich without knowing it was non-halal, and for some reason the guy refused to process a refund. First place I went to that refused to give me my money back for food I can t eat. Would suggest ppl steer clear of here.

Food is well prepared. Staff are friendly. However cutting off the dine in service over 1 hr before close is a bit excessive and inconvenient if you are not from area and expect service. Update hours to reflect 2 tier service. Take out hours vs Dine in hours.

I ve been going to this place for the last 2 months since I started co-op. I would always go and get lunch there when I finish my shift, the food is great and the employees also. I recommend it to anybody who wants a good souvlaki sandwich.

I work in the construction industry in the area and stopped in on this place for lunch one day . Its now my go to spot for lunch . Had the gyros on the pita and i was hooked. The food is great and coming from a greek that lives on the danforth this place does not fall far behind. The food , the service is great and courteous and you get your food at a timely manner. I recommend you visit this place .

Don t forget Souvlaki Hut for catered events! They were excellent! I preordered the day before over the phone and it was seamless, no issues. The next morning I received a call to verify if any changes to my order was needed. And right on schedule the ordered was delivered. Food was fresh and hot, and very tasty! Staff was very pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend! Thank you Souvlaki Hut!

A great fast casual restaurant. Food is consistently good. I always get the chicken souvlaki dinner and it s super filling and delicious.

I have been a loyal customer here since the beginning of Covid. We usually order at least once a week with a minimum of $75 spent. The food is decent, or at least it was.... Unfortunately as of recently, there have been a few changes that have not been for the better. The first major thing I saw was less tomatoes in the salad and the portion sizes of the meat going down in the take away containers. On top of that, I went in today and learned that they now only provide 1 stamp per purchase, where as they used to give you 1 stamp per $30 spent before taxes. Unfortunately another business lost to maximizing profits. These businesses forget that theyre only hurting the people whove kept them in business during these hard times........would not recommend.

The cashier had trouble understanding my questions about the menu. Atmosphere is nothing special and the food was okay but not extraordinary. The Greek Salad was extremely heavy on the onions.

I usually dont do reviews. However, with the high cost of living in todays times, especially with food prices, I decided to say something. Its very disappointing eating out to received poor quality food. The souvlaki chicken was very dry, the wrap had no sauce, salad wasnt fresh, plus the lettuce and tomatoes seemed old. This is not a great way of keeping your customers happy.

I drive quite far to come here. The portions are huge. Always good for a second meal the next night

Don t go here. We ordered and showed up at the time we were supposed to pick up and the girl forgot to place our order. She stated we never called however we have proof of the calls. On top of not having our order ready for 15 people she stated they had to add on a mandatory 18% tip. Why on earth would I tip for pick up and for them completely inconveniencing?? Blows my mind. However I had a family of 15 waiting on food. While sitting in the restaurant waiting for our food a gentlemen came up and showed the manager a piece of hair in his food. These girls were not wearing hairnets!!! This is a restaurant. The owner really needs to intervene and ensure that staff is working in a clean and safe manner. I will not be returning nor will I recommend this food chain.

I tried their beef and lamb gyros was outstanding. The atmosphere was stellar, and the price was on point.

The souvlaki dinners are quite good as the meat is usually tender and juicy. Additionally, the dinners always leave me full and with leftovers the following day. I was missing honey sticks one time but they quickly resolved this when I went back.

We ordered chicken souvlaki and gyro dinner. Generous portions of rice and potatoes. Both meat was dry AF- most especially the chicken souvlaki. I had to dip it mostly in tzaziki sauce to go down the hatch.

In these days of fast food, rushing and disposables, my business here, and my satisfaction, is appreciated! The food is prepared with great care, seasoned and handled with care. Always fresh, freshly cut, cooked and wrapped carefully. All itema are tasty, very well seasoned, consistently. The pita is fluffy and warm, The vegetables are crisp, and I have yet to see a wilted lettuce leaf! A snall unassuming place, BUT METICULOUSLY CLEAN and organized. My wife did takeout from this location on Sunday, she was spoken to rudely every time she asked a question (first and last time ordering anything here), my wife has a hearing disability. As she did not want to ask any more questions she ordered two chicken souvlaki dinners small and when she returned home found out it did not include any potatoes or rice. To top it off my wife was deathly ill that night and missed work the following day, and she has zero food allergies. This review will also be copied to their corporate office and I assure you we want nothing from them except to acknowledge that they should train their staff to deal with customers properly and not be too quick to snap especially when its noted that the individual has a disability.

Kind of slow for walk in take out....but it was super busy. The staff were working as fast as they could to keep up. The food was excellent.....so Id go again.

Just dropped my daughter at the Kipling subway station and thought I would try Souvlaki Hut. I ordered a lamb souvlaki pita sandwich and they asked me if I wanted that medium . Of course, I said yes because lamb is best cooked medium. I asked if they had back olives and they said it doesn t come with the sandwich so i said that s fine. Some observations, the sandwich is packed with meat and it was cooked a perfect medium. The pieces of meat are large so be prepared to chomp on those. Also, the meat did not taste gamey at all so it was fresh. The sandwich is $16 after tax but even at that price it s great value and great taste (for you lamb lovers :). He also gave me some black olives on the side, on the house. I will be back!

The HOUSEMADE SAUCE is just beyond delicious!! Dine in or take out. Only hardship is parking for this location, Parking: Toronto life parking, it is what it is.

You should remove the delivery option if you still make people order thru third party apps!! Just also received my order and it was wrong all I wanted was fries with my small dinner out of the 3 I ordered and they sent me everything else but fries!! Second chance I give them and my Oder was wrong and they won t answer the phone now!! Last time my order was over 100$ and it was wrong 3 months now it s almost 70$ that I have to pay for a mistake and food I didn t want!!!!

I ordered their catering service for my daughter s baby shower! They went above and beyond for service! They threw in as a compliment, no extra charge, 4 tubs of tzatzíki sauce, and a whole platter of honey sticks!The food was excellent! Very happy with this place and the service! You will not leave hungry from this place! We ordered 2 small chicken souvlaki dinners, 1 large chicken souvlaki & 1 small lamb skewer. I appreciate that I was able to choose how my lamb was to be cooked. Generous portions of meat, potatoes & rice. Potatoes & rice are very flavourful, so I would recommend this side above the other options! This was accompanied by a generous side salad that I actually enjoyed plus pita bread (not dry, good texture). Also ordered their classic baklava - very fresh, pastry was light, filling was delicious! Will definitely be coming back again. (Find me on Instagram @aida.loves )

Love their food!! It maybe a bit pricey but the quality & quantity cant be beat. My fave is their pork souvlaki which is hard pressed to find in Etobicoke. They dont have their souvlaki premade sitting like most places & heated up. They make their food fresh to order. Their food is excellent!! I highly recommend them.

Overpriced, woman that was working the counter seems to hate her life because she was extremely rude and when you asked her to do something part of her job she would exhale loud as if you re annoying her for asking her politely to do something part of her job. First and last time eating at this franchise and specifically this location. Go next door and get double the food for the same price and better quality at kebab 49 or magic spot on bloor instead.

Ordered a gyro and chicken souvlaki both with greek salads. The meat tasted old and my chicken was bone dry. I mean I tried to cut into a piece of the chicken and the knife bounced off the surface and sent the piece across the room. Salad was wilted, rough chops not edible. If you dont know as a restaurant that the stump end of lettuce shouldnt go into a salad why bother. There were 2 olives in the entire giant slad I ordered.. just sad. But the worst is the garlic bread I had to attach a picture Because what in the actual hot dog bun is this...soggy drenched crumbling bun. Will not order again.

This is our go-to for Greek! The food is always delicious, and the portion sizes/value are incredible! A small sized dinner portion easily feeds me for two meals.

Food and service has gone downhill! Ordered from Uber Eats and the driver gave another person most of our order. Called the restaurant and had to speak to 3 different ppl to try to explain what happened and thier response was we knew the driver would mess it up. 1. Have safeguards in place if theres a possibility of Uber messing up the orders. 2. Figure out a system to fix these things when they go wrong instead of saying we will put your name on a list for a future credit or come and get the rest of the order. Ppl order through Uber eats bc they cant pick up, and we were missing all the sides and a full meal. So a future credit wasnt an option especially after paying $90 for 3 meals, and 1 didnt show up at all and only part of 2 meals arrived. 3. If you cant rely in Uber Eats to get it right bc you said it happens all the time, then dont offer it as a convenience. 4. The food was okay, but its been better in the past. Too bad because it used to be great value, convenient and delicious.

Decent food but every single time I ve ordered from here they mess up the order. Always things missing.

Used to be awesome but in the last 2 months or so theres been a change and the quality has dropped. Every single order has at least one thing missing, portion sizes are smaller, the care taken in preparing the wraps is gone. The food is still tasty, but its no longer worth it for me unfortunately.

We ordered a small pork souvlaki ($16) and small lamb souvlaki dinner ($19) for take out. When paying, we were charged an extra $4. No one mentioned why nor was it explained. I paid and left before the extra charge registered with me. I called back and asked why I paid an extra $4. Turns out salads arent included in the dinners anymore and costed an extra $2 each. Well, would have been nice if they were upfront about this extra cost. I also dont see it written on the menu or website that salads cost extra and not included in the dinner. Beware. Maybe an honest mistake, but this comes off super shady and sketchy. The food was ok. Pork was a bit salty and dry. Lamb was overcooked but fine otherwise. I wont be returning after this experience.

We order from here quite a bit, and usually get the Souvlaki dinner with an extra chicken skewer, the salad and honey sticks. 4/5 times my partner and I have been very satisfied! This most recent time (March 2021) a few of the potatoes were not cooked properly and were really hard, so that was unfortunate as they usually are very soft and juicy. The chicken souvlaki itself is honestly really good and good flavour always, and the salad is nice and fresh every time as well. We once got a pork skewer and it wasnt as good as the chicken, so I do believe this place will hit the spot for you if you are looking for nice CHICKEN souvlaki!! The honey sticks are also very delicious and a nice little dessert to pair with the meal. My partner and I Definitely recommend Souvlaki Hut if you are craving Greek food!

Greek Salad and tzatziki is really good. The large salad is pretty large - could be used as a hearty side dish for a family. The lamb is okay but always seems to be overcooked. No matter how you ask for it cooked, it comes well done.

Ordered last night for the first and last time. Two pork souvlaki dinners. The meat was just so grisly and tough that it ruined the experience. The side rice, potatoes and salad were tasty but couldn t make up for the meat that we couldn t chew. Every piece was like chewing an old boot.

I ordered a small chicken souvlaki salad with no feta and dressing on the side. What I got - a flavorless skewer of chicken with a salad that came with no dressing. How do you expect your customers to eat a salad with no dressing? When I called them for a solution, this was their answer. If you submit a new skipthedishes order for just $1.5 tzaziki well make you a new salad. Thats great for you guys but this $1.5 is going to be realistically $10+ with taxes, small order fee, delivery fee, and tip. In ADDITION to the extra hour wait that I dont have during my lunch break. Some of the best tasting and freshest Greek food I ve ever had. I usually don t write reviews but I had to go out of my way for this one. Ordered a pork souvlaki salad and gyros dinner. The pork was juicy and fresh and the salad wasn t soggy. The rice and potatoes were flavourful and fresh. The gyros tasted phenomenal, well cooked and seasoned. The service was polite and quick. If you re looking for a takeout Greek joint, this tops most in the area

One of the freshest salads Ive had. I usually take chicken dinner out from this place. The best part is a crunchy salad with cheese. Its just yumm.

My husband and I used to order from here back when we lived in the neighbourhood. They were by far the best location we have been to. We haven t even touched our meals yet thank you to the rudeness of the staff. My husband walked in from the parking lot behind the location, and unbeknownst to him, a bug landed on his face. The staff freaked out and made a huge deal out of it, completely embarrassing him. He still paid for our order and came back to the car and told me what happened. He is a very easygoing guy and can make a joke out of any situation and I haven t seen him this embarrassed and upset before. When he went to pick up the order, the staff handed him the order without even saying thank you or anything else other than here . We won t be returning to this location when there are nicer locations closer to us. Edit: of course we get home and open our bags, and they didn t give us one of our pops for our combo.

There are two Souvlaki Hut locations close by: one on Bloor St and one on Dundas St. The location on Bloor St is great. The one on Dundas St is inconsistent. I have had issues with gristle filled souvlaki. Not fair to spend good money on poor quality food

HUGE and delicious portions, friendly staff, and just overall, great price for what you get. I m so happy we discovered this place and I hope they keep up the great work. The restaurant itself is small but who cares when it tastes that good. The salad is huge and they don t skimp on the feta (yum!) I ve had the pleasure of eating the chicken dinner and the pork dinner...this review has now given me cravings to go there for dinner today!
