10/10! We had the Diavola pizza to start and Tagliatelle al pollo and short rib risotto. Everything was amazing from drinks to the service. Anthony was extremely attentive and gave excellent recommendations. We will most definitely be coming back.

We celebrated my wifes birthday at La Vecchia Lakeshore and had an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding - the Italian dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared. The atmosphere was also top-notch, elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. But what truly stood out was the service - our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided the best service Ive ever had at a restaurant. We cant wait to come back and enjoy another fantastic meal.

Be WARNED! We booked a reservation for 8 people to celebrate a friend s birthday but one person could not make it due to an emergency. When the bill came, they slapped on a 20% mandatory tip because we had reserved a table for 8 people even though they only served 7 people. Food was okay and portions were small. The server rarely came by to provide water. Honestly, I would not recommend.

Ive actually been here quite a few times. I really enjoy the ambience. The food is really good and I always enjoy coming here. I came again for Brunch today and the food was great as always. And the server was very charming and sweet and we had a lovely lil chat about tattoos. Will definitely visit again.

This is a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and an amazing year round patio. I have been here more times than I can count and have never had a bad meal or poor service. The food is delicious and the service is always impeccable, which combined has this restaurant achieving something crucial in this business - a consistent experience at every visit.

Went there today for a quick bite. Tried Salmone sandwich with latte and loved it. We sat on the patio and the server was cool. The only downside was that the things on the patio were dirty. We ll go back again.

What to say: Ive never had a good experience at this location, which is sad, because I always had a very pleasant time at the midtown location. In the many times I attempted to go to this LA Vecchia, in this instance, I had my name on the waiting list and they made me wait for 1h15 for a table only to tell me afterwards that they were fully booked for the night. Like what?! Why taking my name and making me wait then?! On this other time, I brought a date there and wanted a table that was more quiet but they insisted in seating us in the middle of the party that was happening there, despite having calmer tables inside of the room. We just couldnt hear each other so we left. Last night, brought visitors from outside and the food was simply awful. My gnocchi had no taste or whatsoever. My cocktail was ok, at maximum. I honestly cant understand how the two locations are so different from each other and definitely dont appreciate spending that much for this poor experience.

Amazing restaurant!! Been here several times and it never fails to serve delicious food! I had the gnocchi with tomato basil sauce and it was to die for. The bruschetta and margarita pizza was shared and we all enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere is always good and the service is efficient. Our server was Malvina and she was great quick, kind, and helpful!

This restaurant was the first of many to be referred to when in Toronto. By far the best I ve ever been treated in a restaurant. Although the restaurant was full, it was as if our table was the only table in the place for so many staff to accommodate our visit and meals. Our waiter was amazing and very friendly. He cared why we were at the restaurant and why we were in town. The food was SO tasty. Every gesture was taken to provide outstanding service for us. When in Toronto next year, we will definitely go back to La Vecchia restaurant. Phenomenal all the way around.

We went as two couples and had the best experience from the moment we stepped in to the minute we left our service was incredible by Jorge and the dinner appetizers wine and drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be back We had Pinot Grigio Buffala pizza Caesar salad arancini as a share starter Then each of us had a main pasta and fish. Affogato for dessert. We will be back!!

On October 25th a couple coworkers and I decided that it was a long week and we are going through so much stress, let s have dinner and a drink and catch up! I ordered the lan chops meal and ask if it came with vegetables? The server then said no and ask if I would like vegetables, I said yes and she said ok would you like some asparagus and I said yes. When my bill came, I noticed she charged me $11 for the asparagus separately from my meal! I didn t say anything I paid the exact total that was on my bill. The server ( Maliwina) approached in a RUDE MANNER asking me Why did you not tip.. I then day to her please don t take it personal it s got nothing to do with you! She kept going off for like 5 minutes Telling me that she feels offended because this is her job. I then turned to her and asked shy are you embarrassing me in front of thousands of people on the restaurant? I even asked if she does not get a hourly wage! I don t need to be chastised for NOT TIPPING! Everyone financial situation is different you don t know what my family and I are going through and you are there chastising me for not tipping! I was so embarrassed in front of all those customers! I ll never go back to that restaurant just because of her. I m scared and afraid to put my foot back there.. I guess customer service means nothing for someone like her who s probably there all her life and doesn t give a dam about anyone.

Great food and service

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here! We started with the burrata prosciutto and arancini both were delicious and beautifully presented. Then we tried the pesto mushroom pasta, which tasted super fresh. To top it off, we shared the tiramisu, and it was amazing! We loved everything we tried.

For the price of a Caprese salad, they could at least give you a whole mozzarella di bufala instead of a few torn up pieces. Who does that? Some plates could be a little more generous as well. I will not return.

Went for a date night with my wife. We were both so impressed with all aspects of this gorgeous restaurant. The decor is unique, modern and yet warm and comforting. The service at all levels was great and attentive with amazing knowledge of the menu. The food was fresh and made with care and with a deep understanding of layers of flavour. The Focaccia, Bruschetta, was delicious and a great start. The Bronzino was not only presented beautifully but tasted so good. It is definitely now on our rotation. Kudos to the staff and management.

Nice first time experience. Had a birthday dinner of 5 people total here. Delicious food, beautiful patio, lovely separated washrooms (good for maximizing privacy and makeup touch-ups). I would recommend the steak and salmon, the octopus too, of course. The service was okay. Nothing special. I ordered a bunch of items and the waiter didn t have a note pad and repeated back a bunch of Italian to me which I obviously couldn t follow and asked for a repeat again, which was just slower Italian when I ordered based off of the English descriptions. Sounded about right so I didn t fuss and trusted that he got my order correct. Nope. He left out one item that I had ordered and wanted to try. Didn t notice this until it was too late. In addition, there was no acknowledgment of my birthday, despite specifically booking under that occasion. Ordered enough for everyone to feel stuffed, which made me completely forget about trying the desserts here. Perhaps next time.

Our group of four visited the establishment to celebrate a birthday. - Upon entering with our celebratory cake, we were informed that there would be a $3 fee per person for bringing it into the restaurant. - The food was satisfactory, but the portions were small relative to the cost. I have dined at other establishments that offer better value for the price. - The service was overly attentive, with staff interrupting our meal every few minutes to inquire about our needs or to check on our progress. While I appreciate attentive service, I believe that it is possible to provide excellent service without being intrusive. Overall, I would recommend this establishment for business meetings, family gatherings, or romantic dates. However, I would caution against bringing a cake or expecting exceptional value for the price.

Late review. We were on our last evening during my tour of Toronto, and I am simply amazed it ended on a high note with La Vecchia being the place where we dined with family and close relatives. The ambience is good, we sat inside and it was cosy. They offered a comfortable child seat for my daughter, so that she could reach the table too, and we appreciate that. Coming to dining, we had their calamari amalfitani, cozze mussels, risotto sicilliano, branzino and trota vermouth - all of which was simply delicious and so well presented that it created an appetite the moment it was served. Risotto was so good, my baby loved it, and almost was craving more for it. Our server was courteous, and helpful in providing suggestions and choices to go with, and this helped us select such good dishes, from appetizer to main course and make it a memorable one for us. Good work and really looking forward to visit again when we come to Toronto Canada for a visit in future.

Excellent quality restaurant. The food always tastes delicious and the service is outstanding. Ive been to their other locations, but feel this one is the best in terms of total dining experience. Ive ordered lots of things from their menu on multiple visits and havent ever been disappointed! Their arancini balls and fresh pasta are soooo good . Their patio is super nice too.

Went there as a girls day out last week. The food was epic and the environment is also lovely. We were already talking about what to order next time on our way out. But I am here not just to comment the food. My friend who lives nearby went there alone last night and got herself drunk at the bar. We were worried about her. This morning we found out that the bartender actually walked her home safely. Thanks to everyone at the La Vecchia.

Our recent visit to La Vecchia was far from what we had hoped for. Despite the restaurant being busy, the level of service and overall experience was unacceptable. Our waiter was inattentive, rarely checked in, and essential items that should have been on the table were missing. We had to repeatedly ask for basic things, and the waiter was neither friendly nor welcoming. I had made a reservation in advance for my mother-in-law s birthday and requested a birthday dessert surprise, which was confirmed over the phone. Unfortunately, nothing was acknowledged or brought out, and her birthday went completely unnoticed by the staff, which was very disappointing. To add to this, the waiter asked if we wanted complimentary bread while we waited, but to our surprise, we were charged for it. While the food itself was decent, it was served cold, further detracting from the experience. Despite the poor service, we still left a tip out of courtesy, but unfortunately, this was our first and likely last visit.

We came to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary at this location where we had our first date. Our server, Tesa, truly made this a memorable experience. She went above and beyond from the moment we sat down and took an extra step as soon as she learned we were celebrating an anniversary. From swatting a spider off my husband to making sure we never sat with dirty plates, she carried herself with a smile and a positive attitude that made us feel like she truly enjoyed having us as customers. She even had a complimentary dessert and limoncello brought to our table. This restaurant has always held a special place in our hearts but Tesa made it that much more memorable. We hope she is there on our next visit!

I hosted my moms 70th birthday in their private room. Everything was amazing. They were incredibly accommodating about allergies in my family and about customizing the menu. The service and food the night of were amazing and the staff helped us carry everything out to our car as I m quite pregnant. It was perfect.

A reliable choice for good food, service and atmosphere. The sizzling grilled calamari was tasty. Only wish this appetizer was a tad larger. Caesar salad offered crisp greens and a creamy house made dressing. Veal, chicken, pasta and pizza were enjoyed however the star dish of the evening was the fork tender braised ox tail served atop cacio e pepe risotto. This delicious dish was one of the chef s special offerings of the evening. The biggest challenge of this lakeshore restaurant is finding a parking spot however worth the effort.

Food was nice not the biggest portions but definitely extremely delicious. Shrimp was nice, and pizza was also delicious; it reminded me of the ones in Italy. Service was extremely good; the servers and helpers were always smiling. I would compare it to some Michelin-starred restaurants in terms of service. The atmosphere is well made, not finnicky; its thought of and creates an inviting environment while dining. The place is gregarious, so it might not be the best for a quiet dining experience. Parking: Depending on the day and time it might be extremely diffucult to find parking, better come here by foot, the outside walking path is well.

We had dinner at La Vecchia and it was amazing! My mind was blown with the pasta that I had - Tagliatelle Al Pollo. Lea is such an amazing server, very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food is fabulous but Lea just keeps me coming back.

Excellent service - very efficient and polite. Patio is very pretty with overhead floral decor but a little loud. The vibe inside is cozier with vintage movies projected on a wall and darker lighting. It can be a romantic date spot but is also v nice for small groups. The bar design is really nice too. Elegant, upscale vibe but not snobby or uptight. Chicken tagliatelle and shrimp pasta, bruschetta, and tiramisu were all good, as were the cocktails. Pizza was fine - very thin crust, good size. The chicken pasta dish stood out bc it was v creamy. Parking: Parallel parking on Marine Parade is available and there is one small parking lot at the end of the street. There is a bigger lot at Humber Bay Park just west of the area available until midnight - check the posted times - that isnt expensive (there is a machine) and is a short walk over a little bridge to all the restaurant and paths. We arrived at 8pm and only paid $1.50 bc it was free from 9pm - midnight on a Friday. After midnight, you cant park there. During the week, its free up to a certain time. Be sure to read the sign at the pay station.

A high-end Italian restaurant, well located on a decent scenic location having roadside parking in front. The décor and ambiance of the place is very good. Variety of food dishes and their taste is excellent. All dishes are well presented and served in decent crockery. We ordered Beef, fish, pizza, various starters and ice cream. Every dish was perfect to expectation. I can fully recommend this place for best dinning experience.

Food was mediocre at best, but the atmosphere is fantastic and the main attraction IMO. Cocktails were spot on. Service was attentive and as expected. Great date night experience on the fully covered patio.

Honestly, its the best pizza I have had since I got back from Rome! I had the Prosciutto and Funghi. Four stars for food cause its not cured prosciutto or spek.

We were seated by wall which seperated the party room through a curtain. It was loud obviously as there was a celebration on the other end, however, we could barely hear each other or talk at our table. Very unclear on how they could set a table by the party wall/door, it barely had any light. We had a disappointing experience because of the ambience majorly and wouldnt be visiting this location again. We had requested that this dinner was for an occasion, however it seemed like they were overbooked and failed to make it a pleasant evening for us.

Second time here and loved it. Food is delicious. Location is beautiful, the only downside is its not the easiest place to get to. I highly recommend it. Food

Lea is meravigliosa! She was patient with me as I was scrolling through the menu. She suggested a marvelous wine to accompany our meal and what I appreciated most was she knew when my glass was empty running empty to bring a refill with a friendly nod and smile. Lea is an elegant server and her warmth makes the food even tastier. Will come back and soon.

One of the best pizzas I tried in Canada. There is a nice idea to put a whole melted bri cheese at the top. The main dish portions could be bigger! The waiter made us feel uncomfortable when we refused to order the expensive wine he offered.

I have been a customer over the years but the last time I was there about two weeks ago, our server felt rushed and uneasy. He even brought the bill over without even asking us if we were ready to pay. We were just two people and not overstaying over coffee/talking or anything like that. Not nice.

Jonathan provided beyond stellar service. He was very attentive. The food was phenomenal. I had the Tagliatelle Ai Funghi. It was rich and creamy. Loved the healthy portion of mushrooms. It was a hefty bowl of pure goodness. All of our meals were fantastic but the star of the show was Jonathan our server.

She took care of every detail, ensuring that the setup was absolutely beautiful and perfectly executed. The team was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs, and the venue created the perfect atmosphere for our family and friends. And the food wow! We were blown away by the quality. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the steak was divine. Every dish was simply outstanding. La Vecchia Lakeshore made this special day even more memorable, and we couldn t recommend them more highly. Thank you, Roberta, and the entire team for making our event flawless! We ll definitely be back for future celebrations!

We went to La Vecchia last weekend for a birthday dinner and were really impressed with the quality of service and of course the food. Everything we had was absolutely amazing ... We loved the pasta, pizza, dessert and of course the wine. The decor and ambiance is also great for a nice gathering with friends / family or for an intimate date night.

We live nearby and have been many times. We honestly really loved this place when we first moved to Mimico 2 years ago but lately the food and service has gone down. I ordered a pasta and they forgot the salt. The waitresses have also been rude during our latest 2 visits

Sat outside with my father recently and our server named Vlade was delightful! He was attentive, kind, and always made sure we were doing okay. Christopher which I m guessing is one of the managers was very nice and made sure we were enjoying the night. Malvina is such a sweet person, she made conversation with us and also was attentive with us as well. Outside is a little loud due to many guests dining but other than that the service and food was amazing!

Food was extremely tasteless and below average. Service was great though.

I have to say terribly disappointed..the calamari wasn t a traditional Italian calamari dish it was more like eating an Asian infused calamari. The tiramisu well I think the worst I have ever had! the atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was about a 7/10.

Excellent! The service was very attentive and friendly. Im a firm believer that great service is just as important as the food. And it was wonderful! The food was very tasty and did not disappoint. We had the foccacia bread, seafood pasta, tuna appetizer and tiramisu. Would definitely return!

After taking a walk in the lakeside park, I found this restaurant for dinner. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from the seats next to the transparent windows. The decoration design style is great, nostalgic with a modern feel. The meal is served very quickly, and the taste is light. The waiter Maybe he was too busy. After finishing the meal, he had to be reminded to clear the table. After he was seated, he was given a glass of water and he did not refill it until after the meal.

I have been to this restaurant twice now. The first time experience was not great. When i entered the place, i was so excited cause i had heard such good things about the place. But the service was not great. The second time experience was exceptional. The servers welcomed us. Everyone made us feel really welcomed and were attentive. The food was good. I would definitely recommend trying their pesto pasta. The patio is beautiful too. Overall a good spot.
