This place is a scam in terms of traditional Italian food!!! First off the atmosphere is and location is wonderful. However, they did not have filtered drinking water. Red flag. Italian individuals were not cooking. Red flag. The Bruschetta was awful. The pizza was nasty. Shrimp pasta was alright no love or real care or thought put into the dishes. Lastly, how do you not service classic dishes on the menu of LASAGNE ON THE MENU. They mentioned they “cooked it 2 weeks ago” as if that even sounds ok. Super super super red flags. The servers were ok not memorable at all. Go for drinks and salad only. Sure. Do better.
Such a hidden gem- first time ever here and it was seriously incredible! The mussel and clams were to die for, definitely the best i’ve ever had. The environment and service was incredible and made the whole experience that much better. Do yourself a favour and visit here!
Went here with my girlfriend to celebrate one year of being in Canada. Pazzia Osteria did not disappoint! The food was delicious and our server, Pina, was very patient and friendly. Her Tiramisu was amazing, the fact that she made it herself is what makes this restaurant stand out. Well worth it for the quality and reasonable prices too!
Had a wonderful time at one of my favourite restaurants that I have been going to for many years. The food was amazing as always and did not disappoint. Very nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Everyone should check out this restaurant if you are in the mood for a great Italian meal and a night out.
We had reservations for four and due to how packed the restaurant was (always a good sign), we had to wait for 20-25 mins, however, the owner was extremely accommodating and apologetic. It is has your typical family run, cosy Italian restaurant vibes. We had the following dishes; bruschetta (very good), pizza pazza (excellent), crespelle rose (good), fresh fish of the day (very good) and the highlight of the evening: the spicy linguine and shrimp, which we really loved. Lastly their cheesecake was top notch, all in all, I would definitely come back here and can’t wait. Thanks!
Myself and three girlfriends went on a Tuesday night for dinner. Our server was a lovely personable gentleman who joked around with us, took the time to find out about our plans and was gracious enough to take photos of us when asked. We all got appetizers, drinks, entrees and desserts, and every one of us commented that this was a en experience that we would like to recreate. The bathroom smelled like flowers, was really clean. The atmosphere was dim lighting, some great murals on the walls and really cozy and homy feeling. Tons of choice on the menus and I was very impressed with the serving size of my mussels. Really enjoyed our ladies night, and the server and the food runner deserved every bit of the 20 percent tip we left. Can't wait to bring my husband here.
I had the pleasure of coming here with my workplace team and it was a great experience. Has a nice cozy ambiance feel. The food was incredible and tasted authentic. Every single dish was made to perfection & so flavourful. Highly recommend and this will be my main go-to spot for Italian Food.
Fresh, quality ingredients. Our meals had balanced flavours and were properly seasoned, not overdone. The house wine is also recommended. The atmosphere is nice, comfortable, and casual. The Staff were friendly and attentive. Everything is good value.
I would give a 3 overall. Pasta wasnt so tasty.
Great spot, Amazing food!
We had an absolutely wonderful meal. Dropped in on a chance and was overwhelming great experience. Food
Excellent service and very friendly
Been here 2 times. Great food and amazing service . Would definitely be back.
I felt so at home eating here. staff was wonderful and welcoming, especially the waitress.
Amazing food, great service a true hidden gem. A must try you will not be dissapointed the food is amazing.
I really wanted to just give a 4 stars but the service were very good here so I can t 1. Mussels: the mussels were pretty bad. The first few were just not good until I tasted a very bad one. Really ruined the whole experience. 2. The waitress made it up by giving the Cesar Salad. Not fantastic but at least dressing up the mood. 3. Steak: love the medium rare of the steak, exactly of what I want as medium rare. Mushrooms were very very tasty. Nevertheless, the potatoes in the plate is under cooked or super dry. The broccoli is a bit tasteless. Red pepper is a bit sour. 4. Chicken: chicken itself was fabulous. However, same with the vegetables as the sides for the steak. Need some fresh ingredients with some more additional work to go well together in a plate. 5. Tiramisu: really enjoyed the dessert here. 6. Environment: I love the setting of the restaurant. but!!! The music was way toooo loud and playing top 40 radio music, which make me can t relax due to the clubbing music. Overall, it s hard to convince myself to go back. Since the service was really good, I would feel bad to leave a 4 stars.
OMG! the best pesto pasta I have ever tasted . everything was perfect from food to service.
CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. This is currently my favourite Italian spot in the gta, they get everything right from the appetizers to the dessert I ve tried almost everting at this place and brought lost of people here all with good things to say about the food service and ambiance. Perfect little date spot hidden away on the Queensway. The seafood was fantastic, the servers were absolutely lovely, and the atmosphere in this place is very warming and friendly. 10/10 I eat here every other weekend.
Our family has been going since they first opened up. Hands down my favourite restaurant. Amazing service and absolutely delicious food!
We got there a little early before opening time and they were very accommodating and opened the door for us to come in out of the cold. They and allow us to order as the kitchen was coming available. We were very satisfied with everything about Pazzia. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is exceptional and the service was outstanding. We got to mee the owners too! Awesome people! We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that s looking for a quaint hometown feeling and excellent cuisine.
Great food, great service! Definitely going back.
Food is delicious and the staff is super friendly!
Outstanding service and food! High recommend !!
Amazing seafood! Authentic Italian cuisine. Best pasta in Toronto. Food
excellent food. we tried the seafood platter, osso buco, shrimp linguine and a bunch of different pizzas all delicious. Id like to thank Pina for the amazing service!
Everything was just amazing. Highly recommended!!!
Nice little gem along the Queensway. Cozy warm atmosphere, a friendly new owner, good food with fresh ingredients and reasonably priced wine. Well be back!
New owner - he seems cheap. Was told when I picked up food the 10% cash promo was no longer because of new management. Still shows this as a deal on their website so should have been honoured. The lady working at the restaurant seems clueless. Confrontational and not very friendly. Pasta is pretty good though.
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Pazzia. It is a restaurant with a warm traditional ambiance and a modern traditional menu. The server was very helpful. She explained the dishes I did not understand. At my request she recommended one pasta dish that I enjoyed thoroughly. She also introduced me to the chefs. I told the senior chef how much I enjoyed the house wine. He told me how they had discovered the wine and made it a staple at the restaurant. An excellent wine at a very reasonable price. It is very easy to miss Pazzia when passing by but it is a hidden gem on the Queensway well worth the visit.
I went here for dinner with my girlfriend and we were both absolutely blown away by the quality of food. At the end of the meal, I had mentioned to the server that the Penne A La Vodka was the best Ive had in my life and the owner had coincidentally been dining right next to us and overheard. On top of the food, friendly and classy atmosphere and great pours on the cocktails as well! Would always recommend this place to others.
Excellent service and food quality. Very generous portions. Will definitely be back.
This is an Etobicoke hidden gem. Food is tasty and great portions for the price. Love the ambience and the waitress is always polite and pleasant.
Excellent food!
A very charming restaurant with great food and service. The service was attentive and relaxed. we were asked if we wanted our order brought out in stages which really helped us enjoy all the dishes. Lots of small attentive touches to the service - our cappuccinos came with delicious biscotti- with extra for our toddler. Very accommodating of our toddler as well - they brought us some coloring pages and offered a lollipop at the end.
Tonight was our first time dining here and we absolutely loved it! The food and service was perfect. The tiramisu was hands down the best weve ever had. We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Superb dining experience. Lots of appetizers to choose from. Service was wonderful. Owner was friendly and accomodating. Streak, pasta, and grilled orange roughy. Had a delicious cheesecake and a strong Caffè Americano for dessert. Everything made from scratch. Close to home for us. On the Queensway not far from Royal York Road.
Good place to dine, but limited street parking.
Quality is great! Would go again! Thanks guys
A wonderful restaurant to visit if you are wanting good Italian cuisine at an affordable price. The ambiance is great, staff very good and the food is excellent. Do make a reservation as it is a popular restaurant.
Highly recommend their penne alla vodka !
Amazing food especially the Gnocchi and the tiramisu! Thank you Frank, always the sweetest
The food was home style cooked and served. Love this place !
Great place, love having dinner here
We ve ordered takeout from Pazzia twice and have loved it. The food is fresh, tasty, and usually ready within 20-30 minutes. Much better than chain Italian restaurants like Scaddabush. The owner is really kind, too. He forgot to include a dish we had ordered in our bag but called us back promptly and made up for the mistake with a little treat, which we really appreciated. The Penne a La Vodka (with chicken) is a personal favourite of mine. The sauce is flavourful and perfectly creamy. My wife loves the Penne Arrabbiata, which has a great kick to it. We ll definitely be back (hopefully to dine in next time)!
Great good reasonably priced great portions. Will be going back
I ve been eating here for over 10 years now and happy to see that the quality is still there. You can judge good Italian by the simple things and this place gets them right. I ve dined in, used their take out and also delivery. Thanks! Parking: Not sure why some comment on the parking just because parking on Queensway is often not available. There is tons of parking on side streets and lots just behind
I asked my boss many years ago of a good Italian restaurant that wasn t commercialized!! He suggested this place This place was exactly what I was looking for, great home cooked italian restaurant that s very cozy and warm inside The owner is personable and greets everyone that comes in and the staff very attentive Great selection of wines and great selection on the menu What I truly like are the dinner specials which are not on the featured menu it s always a surprise to ask the owner what the daily special is and the likely choice for me when I go!! Try this place out!! Will surprise your taste buds if you are craving good Italian food :) Vegetarian options: Just let the owner know and he can accommodate vegetarian options Parking: There s free parking after certain hours Kid-friendliness: The owner is more then accommodating for kids
This place has such a warm and welcoming vibe. The host is warm, generous and so passionate about what he does. The bruschetta, eggplant Parmigiano and cheese and spinach gnocchi were simply perfection. You can have a great evening here enjoying their gourmet expertise and just chatting away. One of the better places for Italian food in Toronto. Highly recommend.
Great food (especially the gnocchi)! Frank is awesome at making you feel at home
Delicious food and very friendly staff
First time dinning at this establishment. Honestly the food was amazing. Some of the best Italian dishes I have ever had. You can really taste the difference when fresh good quality ingredients are used and prepared with care. The service was amazing and the restaurant is charming. Noticed they have a patio so will definitely be my new spot this summer. Dont skip the tiramisu its fantastic!!! Highly recommend.
The worst restaurant in Etobicoke (foodwise. service was great). The food is extremely bland. No flavour on calamari, veal, and, fillet mignon. The medium rare fillet mignon was hard, chewy, and well-done. The tiramisu was hard. These are the worst food I have ever had in etobicoke. Hands down. Do not trust the reviews. Those are clearly faked.
Very good italian food, prices fair, service is charm but messy.
Excellent service. The restaurant accommodated my request for an afternoon lunch for a baptism celebration. Food was excellent. The children were embraced and accommodated. Thank you Pina, and to the chef Vittorio. Vegetarian options: A great variety Dietary restrictions: Vegan options were prepared beautifully. Kid-friendliness: Portions were perfect. Vittorio prepared chicken fingers to add to the side of pasta.
Pros: staff was really friendly. The girl bussing tables was genuinely such a sweet heart. Cute spot and ambience. Food tasted good. Cons: Food took over an hour and we had to ask what was going on rather than someone telling us. We only ordered two pastas and one lobster tail. We were told lobster tails take 45 minutes to cook. Definitely not a thing lol. One meal came out wrong. Asked for a double vodka cranberry but the cranberry on the side. Charged $16 for the vodka and $4 for the cranberry. Server did offer to take it off the bill after I mentioned it was weird. They bought us 2 shots of tequila because we complained the food took long. Overall I want to say this is a good spot and this situation was likely a one off.
I love this place!! The best food and servers!! The spicy linguine and shrimp is one of my favs, and the desert was great! Food
I had an amazing time at this lovely restaurant. We came here after the movies. Pina was such a lovely lady who served us. I usually am very picky with my cocktails but I promise you I had the best espresso martini here. I m still thinking about it. The pasta I had was such a good portion as well. This is a great place to visit before or after the movies as it s very close by. Would highly recommend!
This is my first time trying Pazzia Osteria, this was really an amazing experience and have travelled to Italy on a few an occasions. This food had the sabores of true classic Italian food. Will definable be back
The food from appetizers to dessert was great and flavorful. The service was amazing. Thanks Pina for a great experience and delicious dessert! Will come back soon.
People came in after us got their food before us I heard so much about this place and was very disappointed Very cold , other people complaining as well . Staff not so friendly If you are unable to accomodate many people at one time hire more cooks Would not recommend this place
I found this restaurant on blogTo when looking for a new Italian spot to try in Etobicoke. We went in on a quiet Friday night and we re met with the friendliest welcome. The menu has your classic favourites, the presentation of the food had a lot of thought behind it and the portions are just right. The food is amazing the spaghetti with tomato sauce is my go to it has to be the best tomato sauce I ve had in Toronto. Overall the food and service keep us coming back and this restaurant has now been added to our daily rotation of restaurants when we eat out.
Always a joy! Very friendly staff and I noticed someone commenting earlier with a negative response. Restaurants can be short staffed at times and difficult people will never choose to be patient. Food reminds me my trips to Italy. Can t say enough good things!
My friend John took me there 2 weeks ago. I was thoroughly impressed with the food, atmosphere and service. Like most Italians I felt at home even though it was my first time there.
Delicious food, excellent service, and the place looks charming!
Loved it. 1st time there and loved everything about the experience. Im sure I will be returning there soon.
Food was excellent. One of those hidden gems worth travelling for. Quality of the food was surprising considering the pricing.
Great Italian food. Owner is always there and provides great service.
Amazing night! Owners are so friendly and the food is so delicious! Highly recommended!
Small but cozy restaurant.; food was good the service is great!
We miss you so much! My husband and I have come here for dinner only a few times before covid19 and cant wait to go for dinner again. The food is excellent and the owner and staff are wonderful.
Pretty decent joint Pizza is soso but Parmigian was great
Cosy atmosphere, super friendly service and great pizza! My parents have lived around the corner for years but it wasn t until today that my mom and I decided to have a pizza and beer at Osteria s patio. It feels so good to eat out again! Thank you so much, we plan on coming back.
The food is amazing And that is the only reason why we always go back Dealing with the owner he is ignorant and rude We had gone a few weeks ago my cousin had called and gave her first name then was interrupted by the owner and said I know how to spell (her given name) then we had gone another time and the owner again was condescending We had left tonight and apparently they did no charge us for a ginger ale and he says oh we didn t charge you ($3.00) First of all that is your problem Secondly when I was paying he was literally in my face watching my run my credit card through My back was right against the wall I had tipped the restaurant 7.50 bc it was 40.00 so I said well we tipped you enough Not impressed and honestly it s too bad because the food is amazing The owner not so much
Might be great food but the owner is scuzz ball! Too bad he cant even pay his suppliers! He expects to get things for free. Hes behind payments on multiple suppliers! il Asian, cornuto.
Great food, great service 5 stars for sure
Nice little local restaurant. Fantastic food. The tiramisu is a must.
Expected wayy better but they were super nice there
You will never go wrong with their daily specials. Super tasty
The food was amazing (Authentic Italian), and tasted like my nona had cooked it! Franco was very kind and friendly. Were visiting again for sure!
Amazing food, incredible service. They make you feel like youre part of their family. Prices are are reasonable too. 100% well be back.
This is a little gem on The Queensway. Two brothers. One front of house and one in the kitchen. Great simple Italian food. I can here for my anniversary. We split a grilled calamari, shrimp linguini in an anchovies tomato sauce and a pecorino pizza with olives. Both the pizza and pasta had that salty umami taste that goes gray with champagne. The pizza and pasta came out already split in two portions which was super appreciated. The service is warm. We were able to bring our own wine with very reasonable corkage fee. This little spot is highly recommended. Your stomach and wallet will love this place!
Go With the Pasta Oh this little restraunt really reminds me of some happy time in Rome and Florence.
Excellent place for authentic Italian food
Excellent restaurant- delicious food, friendly staff
True Italian food. Frank is an excellent host.
We haven t been disappointed here since coming many times since 2017. BUT today we witnessed unprofessionalism and not owning up to their mishap(s) and concern for the guest and not about them. The story. Busy night, took our order, spilled wine (not a problem) was apologetic. We got spilled on our clothes. They new. What I am irked with is an established restaurant would at least give the house wine we ordered taken off the bill even though they replaced the glasses. And cover our dry cleaning bill. And from there it went down hill, got our 1st course burnt, then waiting for 2nd course they brought our 1 course again. Second course came cold my spinach gritty. He didn t come back to check on us (embarrassed) instead sent another poor swamped waiter to clean up the spilled wine and finishing off our meal. We weren t going to leave a tip but our real waiiter definitely deserved it so we did. I think. Promotion should be considered. Some people have to know when to hang up their legacy and give it to someone who still has a passion for the people not just their pocket. Vegetarian options: Eggplant parmigiana, mushroom spinach and goat cheese salad, pizza, mushroom soup.
Definitely one of the best Italian Ive tried in toronto. We were 4 people. The food was delicious from Salad, appetizer, main and dessert. The service from Franco and the team was wonderful. I will be a regular here
My friends and I went last night and it was spectacular. One of the best pastas and Italian food I have had in Toronto. Highly recommend! The owner is also extremely friendly and would give recommendations on how to enjoy the food. Interior feels very cozy and comfortable. Amazing experience.
We ordered pizza, pasta appetizers and deserts. The appetizers were terrible. The bruschettas were soft, the tomatoes over ripe. The pasta and pizza were ok. The tiramisu was the worst desert I had in town. The owner was annoying very intrusive and very self imposing. He passed the machine and kept looking on how much we would tip. I didn t like his attitude.
The food was really bad, and the owner was all over the place. He touched every single fork and knife to count them on our table. And the tiramisu was the worst tiramisu I have ever had, it wasn t even a tiramisu. Bad bad experience. Oh and I forget something, he overcharged us.
So awesome. This is one of my family s favourite places. The grilled calamari is amazing.
Great place, great food. Victorio and Frank really make you feel at home. Been going there for years and am never disappointed.
We were a group of 12 at 4h30pm and the place was empty. The guy took our order and we waited till 5h45pm to have our meal. We had to leave at 6h30pm and we tought that if we arrived 2h before we will be ok. But not. So we ate quickly and asked for the bill. The dude just assume that one person was going to pay for everyone. They only did one bill! Obviously we all wanted to pay our own food. The excuse was that we should said it when we arrived and its gonna take half an hour to redo the bills (seriously!?). So one of us paid the bill and we were going to split it among us later (since we were in a hurry). And then, the waiter impose us 20% tip because we were a group of more than 5 persons! You cant impose tip like that on people especially when the service was terrible! And the food wasnt even good on top of everything. Worst place ever!
Frank is the best.
Me and my boyfriend make it a point to eat at Pazzia at least once a month. Highly recommend this place for an intimate food experience. Have not been disappointed. If you re looking to eat authentic Italian cuisine for a small group, this is it!
The staff catering to ur every need is absolutely amazing
The owner is our server, he is so attentive and makes every customers felt welcome. The special risotto is excellent, must try and will come back again !
Amazing food, never tasted chicken like this before, pasta was fresh n soft. Loved it
we got overcharged 19$ for our order, bringing 150 to 169.9, there was no extra item or incorrect price, the subtotal was just wrong, and they didn t want to show us the bill before charging us.
Excellent food and service
Like most of us, I have had Italian food at many different restaurants. I have yet to find anything that compares to their food. It is a shame that more people dont know about Franco and Vittorios fine Italian cuisine.
I used to live right next to them. They never miss, best pasta in ETOBICOKE BY FAR
Fantastic food and service as always!
Such an incredible experience. From the moment we arrive to the moment we left. Service is incredible, Frank - he s the guy! Food was amazing, drinks were so tasty. Thank you for everything! We will definitely be back!
This Authentic Italian resturant is excellent, there customer service is absolutely fantastic, . They make sure you have everything you need and then some, it feels like youve walked in to see family very welcoming. I will be back many times over and over, as its just a great place to come relax, eat and feel like you belong.
Frank and his family are great for a night out or a private function! Amazing food
We were there to celebrate my birthday. Food was fantastic and service impeccable. Highly recommended.
Nice little spot
Had the pleasure of eating here two days ago. Came in and was immediately seated and given a list of recommendations. The entire menu sounded delicious, and I was given a fantastic list of specials for the day. Ended up eating a roasted vegetable soup and a beef tenderloin meal as a recommendation. The soup was extremely delicious. The texture of the vegetables that were extremely fine along with the great body of the soup made this an instant cleanup. The beef tenderloin itself was amazing. Asiago was melted on top and the choice of vegetables helped with not being overwhelmed with the sweetness of the onions. The restaurant itself had a great feel to it. I felt comfortable coming in after work and relaxing to a great meal. Food, service, and atmosphere were on point. I heavily recommend anyone to give this location a go for a fantastic meal.
We love this place. Great people own this family run business. We are so happy they made it through the pandemic. Great food. We visit often, we love it so much.
Been coming here for over 20 years. Fantastic authentic food!!! Their catering is just as good!!!!! See you soon, Mike,Vic!!
Wow! First time here and the owners and the family made us feel like we ve been coming here for years. Authentic ambience could set the mood for any occasion. You ve got us hooked for the future! Buona sera!
If you like a cozy restaurant with a great host and a chill and quiet vibe, come here. The menu is intimate in that it s manageable and focused for the kitchen team, while having enough variety to pique the interest of the customer. Try the gnocchi borgonzola. Then go back and try it again.
True Italian food. I loved this place. Franco is one of the most genuine people & served the most delectable dishes. I would post the food, the desserts, or the appetizers, but it smells so good that cameras became secondary. By the time i thought of a photo, the only thing that remained was an empty Espresso glass. Try it with a shot of sambuca.
Great food and warm hospitality
great neighbourhood restaurant... inviting, friendly
Proper menu size and portions are not too big. Pasta is also very opionated making it am experience
They served me a pizza that had clearly been cooked from frozen. Pazzia means craziness in Italian; youd have to be crazy to eat here.
Great food! Great environment! Vittorio and Frank make you feel like family!
Amazing food and service. Always warm and friendly.
Very good food and excellent service
My wife and I visit about monthly to this fabulous family run gem of an Italian trattoria. Great food, great service, great prices. We are praying, and drooling, that they reopen soon... Miss you Franco!!!
My family and friends have been going to Pazzia for over 15 years. The only thing better than the service and welcoming atmosphere is the food. It is as if you have stepped into a little piece of Italy right here in Toronto. The food is fresh and delicious no matter what you order and you cant help but try something new on the menu even though you may have your favourites. Frank and his staff never disappoint and go out of their way to please their guests. When my family and I want to celebrate an occasion or simply want to treat ourselves we immediately think of Pazzia. When our family from the USA come to visit they always ask if we are going to visit Frank at Pazzia. We hope it is a tradition that we can keep up for many years to come. Best Wishes to Frank and his staff during these trying times!!
Excellent Italian restaurant, salads were crisp and the Linguine Pescatore was amazing
Nice cozy place, patio sitting with limited tables. Food is always authentic Italian anc good.
The food was better than excellent!! Plus the service matched the great food. Highly recommend this great restaurant. The owner was very welcoming and the staff very knowledgeable. Wish everybody could find out about this place
Honestly the best Italian home cooked meals. The staff and owner is so personal. Never a bad meal and always a special night. My parents have been coming here for 20 years and keep coming back. A perfect hidden gem in Etobicoke.
Franco and Vittorio are amazing hosts. Italian food the way it should be. You can taste that it is made with care, with quality ingredients and served with elegance. Nowadays our takeout gets packaged carefully to preserve our experience at home.
best Italian food staff was very friendly.
We have been attending Pazzia restaurant for almost 25 years and have always enjoyed the incredible food. Last night we ordered pizza from Pazzia and it was the best tasting pizza I have ever experienced in my existence. Thanks again to Franco and Vittorio for their wonderful service.
If you are looking for Italian food look no further then Pazzia Osteria. The food is always good! It is a friendly friendly family run restaurant, and if you have not already tried it, it only begs one question, what are you waiting for?
Popped downtown to Ripleys Aquarium this afternoon, and decided to check this place out on our way back to Kitchener. So glad we did! Walked in the door around 6pm, but didnt have a reservation. The owner offered us the chefs table which amounted to a tiny little 2 seater underneath the window to the kitchen. We were skeptical at first, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was AMAZING! The portobello mushroom cap w/spinach appetizer was the perfect blend of flavours. I had the veal in cream sauce on fettuccine, and my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. Finished the meal by sharing the peach cake with ice cream. Superb service and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend! (Dont forget to make a reservation, though)
This is my favourite italian in etobicoke. Franco is always a pleasure, his daughter who helps serving is great, and the food is too notch. Always specials to keep a great variety. Can t recommend this place enough. It gets full quickly, make a reservation if going at a busy time.
We had dinner with six friends this evening at Pazzia Osteria and were thoroughly impressed with the delicious meal, ambiance and wonderful service. Highlights included delicious stuffed baby eggplant with goat cheese appetizer (tonights special), scallops, fresh foccacia (complimentary), outstanding veal dishes and pasta. The house wine was very affordable. We will definitely be back! Thanks!
Was there for a private party... what a amazing place! The service was wonderful, the food was incredible! What a wonderful experience. .
Fantastic place to eat very quiet and cozy. Great food and very authentic. Would go again.
Great service, friendly, welcoming environment. Old school decor. High quality ingredients, 100% satisfied. We will be back.
My wife and I have been frequenting this unassuming place for many years and have always found the food delicious and the wine prices reasonable. They coinsistently prepare the vegetables to perfection and go beyond the usual fare. Owner and staff find the time to chat with every customer.
Excellent menu choices. Very hospitable place with particular attention to detail. Excellent food. Will definitely recommend to all friends and family.
Delicious Italian fare in a warm, cozy environment. Highly recommend.
Great food, reasonable pricing, amazing service. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere, great service, great food
Great food with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere .
Incredible food! Great service!
Great place with great food.
Best Italian cousins in Town.
Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back
I stopped by to see a very good friend the Chef and co owner of Pazzia Osteria. He was closed for lunch today and in true hospitable fashion he asked me what would i like for lunch he said would you like pasta i did absolutely do he said sit down and offered me a very cold Stella Artois. As a starter a spinach salad with mushrooms and a light and fresh salad dressing WOW. Then the main dish pasta prescatore INCREDIBLE presentation and the taste off the charts. So when your looking for that special restaurant and authentic Italian go see my good friend Vittorio®
The service is awesome only outmatched by the food which was AMAZING
Ive been going here 16 years. It is far and away the best Italian place in the city. The penne a la vodka has no company at the top of the mountain. And Frank treats you like you are at his house on Sunday with Nona
Pizza was excellent. Terrific service.
Wonderful, great food and reasonably priced.
Awesome Great food, Great Atmosphere and great people. its owned by to brothers one the chef and the other is the waiter they are very nice and accommodating and will alter dishes to make them suited to your needs for me they make there food gluten free they can also make most of their pastas gluten free though theirs an extra charge for gluten free but the food and service is great so it doesnt really matter. they also have different specials that are great.
Best Italian restaurant in the city! Very homey and food is incredible! All our friends and family have been coming here for years and the quality of food is the best I ve ever had!
Great homemade italian food!
Amazing fresh tasting Italian food. Back for the second time this month.. Quiet place, nice atmosphere, and great service.
Love the atmosphere and the people are great! Food feels authentic and original. I will be coming back, very relaxing vibe, great place for family functions or dinners with close friends.
Yum yum Yum! Great food and great experience. Pasta was super great, veal parm was also amazing and the tiramisu is to die for. Definitely will be back but make sure you make reservations on the weekend because its an intimate place with limited tables
Amazing staff
Absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for years. It is a great place to go for a cozy date as well as a family celebration. Chef Vittorio is amazingly talented. I highly recommend the veal parmigiana and the gnocchi. Beyond the food, the service is excellent. Franco, the host, is very warm and welcoming. PS. Do not leave without trying the tiramisu!
Excellent food at a great price. Highly recommend for a nice evening out for casual dining. Very friendly staff and service.
Fantastic Place. My Grandpa and Grandma have been visited this place ever since it first opened. Were still going now for birthdays and other special occasions! Franco and Chef Vittorio are amazing!
Had a gluten free pasta dish. The serving was substantial and the pasta was cooked just right.
Best Italian food in the city!
Great quality Italian food! Highly recommend the shrimp pasta and the penne alla vodka. They are so delicious and flavourful. Overall my favourite place for Italian food in Toronto.
If you want some real Italian food this is the best place to go! My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place and have been back many times! The food feels like youre in Italy and the service was amazing too! The owner who is also the chef has come out to check on us before and recognized us as regulars and this really made the experience that much more pleasant. If youre looking for an amazing Italian meal, good ambiance, and amazing service this is the place for you. Any review of this place that is negative is complete non-sense.
Drove by this place on our way home. I work at an Italian restaurant and I have to say this is some amazing food! You can taste just how fresh it is! If we re ever anywhere near, we ll make it a mission to stop here!
We were in the area and stopped by for supper without a reservation around 6:30,which was totally fine - there were still a few tables empty. Parking was a little challenging: there is parking available in the proximity, but everything was taken. The place has an Italian authentic vibe, especially since our waiter had a nice strong italian accent! The food was good, I appreciated their pre-appetizer warm bread they served. I didn t like that they served only one or two wines by glass. The espresso was made with too hot water. We appreciated the tiramisu dessert: not too sweet, but moist and delicious. It was a nice place, but 4* because for me was not memorable. Not suited for a special occasion or date.
A small, cosy and comfortable spot. Always expertly cooked cuisine, and friendly, familial attentive service. A top-notch local secret.
Excellent service. Great pizza and salad options.
Great Service! Hidden Gem
Great people and food
Friendly, attentive staff, excellent service, authentic and delicious Italian food, peaceful, pleasant, quiet atmosphere. My husband and I truly enjoyed our night out here. We decided that this small, cozy restaurant totally beats the big and impersonal big chain restaurants. Not cheap, but totally worth it.
*** T-R-A-S-H *** The owner Frank should concentrate on serving up food, rather than serving up insults to his guests, I mean, what restaurateur does that anyway?! If you spent less time disrespecting your patrons, and more time concentrating on providing an enjoyable dining experience, maybe your wait times would improve... If the above wasnt enough to deter you from spending your hard earned money here, its also worth noting that Ive had better Italian fare from a can of Chef Boyardee. Bon Appétit Frank
One of my favorite spots. Vito and Frank are great hosts and make delish food that doesnt break the bank. Probably one of the moat understated restauurants in Toronto. A hidden gem for sure.
First time eating here and we were blown away by the taste of the food and the pleasant and personal service. Very busy little place, so expect a leisurely dinner and enjoy some wine between courses. totally worth trying!
Amazing Italian restaurant.
Home made Italian fare just like my friends Calabrese Mamma made back in the day! Appetizers and bread freshly baked onsite. Splendid pasta + pizza mouth watering and scrumptious! Molto bene commandatore!!
Great food, service and.atmosphere!
Topnotch food and service. The specials are usually superb!! The only negative the dessert menu lacks variety Unfortunately my sweet tooth is the only part of me not totally satisfied
Great food other than bruschetta had onions that overpowered other flavours
In short, poor service and over-priced food. We showed up for our 7:30 reservation and had to wait another 15 minutes before being seated. The service was slow, with large awkward gaps in-between courses. When the food arrived the portions, especially the appetizers, were not justifiable for the price. There s plenty of other great restaurants along the Queensway, save your money for those.
