We strive to bring the best, authentic Italian dining experience to Toronto`s Islington Village community. Our menu features classic dishes from various regions of Italy, made with only the finest ingredients and prepared with a modern twist. Our beautiful Neapolitan-style pizzas are made in a Valoriani wood burning oven, providing the best flavour and texture to our pizzas!
I recommend this authentic Italian pizzeria. I’ve been here a few times just down the street in a feels like a small town of Etobicoke. Great service and great foods and drinks
Celebrating a birthday with our family. First time here and very happy with the fantastic food, great service and very reasonable prices. The surprise tiramisu with a birthday candle was very much appreciated. We will definitely be back and will be telling our friends about it.
I had a wonderful lunch this early afternoon. My waiter was a nice and friendly young man who provided excellent service. I enjoyed an appetizer of grilled octopus with a wonderful char, which I would highly recommend. I also tried their burrata pizza which came with tones of prosciutto and some lightly dressed arugala, on an excellent wood fired pizza crust. This pizza was excellent and I will definitely be coming back to enjoy it again!
The pizza was incredible. Dough, burrata & prosciutto & arugula were very fresh. Tiramisu also done well. Service was great. Pretty quiet for a Thursday evening ! Would go back for sure
Nice thin crust pizza. The pizzas are all 12”, with price point around $20. They have beers, wines and coffee too!
Delicious - excellent squid ink arancini, fresh cheese, nice Espresso martini and delicious, perfect pizzas. Super filling. Great service, very nice server. Chef is consistently making good quality dishes here. There's a small patio out back.
This pizza haven, has with a wood-burning oven at the entrance, offers a charming blend of intimacy and sophistication. The well-stocked bar at the back complements the cozy dining area perfectly. Our server's excellence added to the stellar experience, and the food, crafted with finesse, surpassed expectations. Dining here isn't just a meal; it's a delightful memory etched in the ambiance of a classy pizza joint. A beautiful place to enjoy an incredible meal.
Changing my review from 5 to 2 stars because of the recent experiences with food. We used to be regular customers trying other menu items than pizza, mostly ordering for take out. Recently, the quality and especially portion size has been going downhill. Last few orders were seafood risotto, grilled calamari, and another time the octopus. Risotto was probably a third smaller than the time I had it there before with 3 shrimps and 1 scallop all for 29 dollars plus tax. Grilled calamari costing 18 dollars, I kid you not, was half a tube, not even a full squid tube that you can get for $10/ pound in store. The octopus was 4 sad ends of tentacles overcooked and with no taste for $21 plus tax Compared to when I ordered the octopus for the first time, it was three large full tentacles still attached to part of the body. Even the box it came in was larger. Basically, this place now is only good for pizza, but not sure how long that's going to last....
Ate here last night with my family. Read the reviews 4.5 star rating .. not sure how it is so high. Ordered a few apps, couple pastas and a pizza. Cesar salad most bland salad we have had, pasta noodles were hard, calamari over spiced not enjoyable. Never asked if we wanted anymore drinks. A nice couple bought our table desserts which we asked to go because it was late and had a long drive back home only to see the desserts today were the thinnest slice of chocolate cake. To top it, asked if there was somewhere to change my baby, they said no and didn t even offer or suggest anything. Sadly not authentic Italian and service was off. Won t be going back and do mot recommend.
Fresh, flavourful and fabulous! Loved everything here :)
Had dinner here last night amazing food ambiance and service! Bonus! Half priced bottles of wine every tuesday! Me and my husband phat will be back!!!
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this hidden neighbourhood gem! Can t wait to come back and try more dishes!
First time at this amazing establishment...definitely Ill be coming to eat more at this place.. pizza was delicious. Amazing
First time visit with a group of friends. We were a party of 8. Our server Gabriela was very attentive to us and the food fantastic. Will definitely visit again!
Great atmosphere in this restaurant. Pizza was a bit overcooked. Four cheese with tomato sauce is a bit different, usually no tomato sauce at all but it was tasty.
Best pizza in Toronto, crispy crust delicious toppings
We tried the pizza here, and it was great. I m pretty sure we ll be going back.
The pizza was good, so the kitchen staff gets all the credits for it. The waitress was phenomenal at being a 3rd rate server, just knows how to read the menu, and she thinks she has achieved everything in life. She has no acquaintance with manners and customer service. Her answer to every question is just reading random words from the menu.
New Edit: It seems the place has a gone a bit downhill. I do not know if the chefs have changed over the past two years but the last time the pizza was dripping with oil when we ordered for delivery. And this has been quite repetitive. I do not enjoy it anymore and would not want to spend more money to give it another chance. Old Review: Amazing Pizza! We tried Paisano and it was mouth watering Nonna s Garden and Amalfi Margarita were great cocktails and with the pizza it was a great combination.
Thanks Zoya for making my friends 40th dinner a great experience. Great food great prices and great service! We will be back
The best pizza in Etobicoke and maybe Toronto as well. The Margherita is soo good. The best Ive had so far.
Great pizza with friendly staff!
Excellent authentic Neapolitan style wood oven pizza , amazing fried calamari to start as well. We were so impressed with the taste and quality of the pizza . Service was friendly and efficient as well . We definitely want to try their pasta dishes next time we go!!!
Proper neapolitan pizza and excellent tiramisu.
We ordered for pick up so I cant speak of the atmosphere and service, but damn those pizzas are DELICIOUS!!!!
If you re seeking an authentic Neapolitan dining experience, this Italian restaurant is a true gem. With a wood-fired oven at the heart of their kitchen, they bring the flavors of Naples straight to your plate, delivering a menu filled with traditional yet innovative Italian dishes. Appetizers- The meal begins with impressive starters. The Calamari alla Griglia is perfectly grilled, tender, and well-seasoned, bringing out the natural sweetness of the squid with a subtle char from the fire. Another standout is the Arancini a crispy delight breaded with squid ink that gives this classic dish a briny, rich twist. Both dishes set the tone for the authentic culinary journey that follows. Pizza- Of course, no visit to a Neapolitan restaurant would be complete without trying their pizzas, made with dough that s been lovingly crafted and baked in their wood-fired oven. We opted for two classics: the Ortolana and the Margherita. The Ortolana was a standout topped with fresh, perfectly vegetables, it had a beautiful balance of flavors and textures, with the slight smokiness from the oven enhancing the natural sweetness of the veggies. The Margherita was simplicity at its best: rich tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and fresh basil, all coming together on a chewy yet crisp crust that had the perfect amount of char. Both pizzas embody the soul of traditional Neapolitan pizza-making. Pasta Their pasta selection is extensive, but the Spaghetti alla Siciliana is an absolute must-try. Made with pistachio pesto, this dish strikes a perfect balance of creamy, nutty, and pistachio flavor. The pesto clings to the al dente spaghetti with just the right amount of richness, making each bite deeply satisfying. The menu offers plenty of other pasta options, each crafted with care, but this particular dish exemplifies the restaurant s dedication to honoring regional Italian cuisine with a creative edge. Desserts- Dessert here is an event unto itself. The Tiramisu is unlike any you ve had before it swaps out the usual ladyfingers for a moist cake base, layered with airy mousse, offering a textural twist that elevates the dessert to a whole new level. The Torta Caprese, a flourless chocolate almond cake, is dense yet indulgent, with a richness that lingers long after the last bite. Both desserts are excellent choices to round off the meal. Ambience and Service The wood-fired oven not only serves as the culinary centerpiece but also adds a cozy, rustic feel to the atmosphere. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, further enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, this restaurant excels in offering an authentic slice of Neapolitan cuisine, showcasing time-honored techniques and ingredients with a modern twist. Whether you re in for the pasta, desserts, or the inviting ambiance, it s a spot that will leave a lasting impression.
amazing Pasta!!
The pizza was ok, not great. The service was awful. If you dont respect people, there are plenty of other pizza places to choose from.
Love this place!!! My kids and I stopped in for pizza. They made it right infront of us. We ordered pizza oro and margherita. It was soo delicious. And the staff are wonderful. I can t wait to try again when we are in town.
The pizza was good. The service was good. Renovations were done were not that nice. The restaurant was pretty empty.
Great food!!
The food and the service were exceptional. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
Amazing fresh food and great service. Must try the lunch menu so affordable and great portions for the price!
Lovely pizza. Friendly staff. A bit of a challenge for parking as there is no sign in the back.
Stopped in here after a long trip to the city to run an important errand. I lived in the neighbourhood years ago, but this is new; and I am so glad I took a chance and stopped in. I wish I had thought to take pictures of the food, but alas, I was too busy enjoying the meal in front of me and the company across the table. I will try to remember to take pictures next time. I can say for sure, there will most definitely be a next time, its worth the trip.
Unfortunately portion sizes have shrunk. Prices have been raised. Food quality is inconsistent. Have been getting food here at least once a month. The last time I had good food from her was 2023 October. The only consistent thing here is pizza.
I ordered online and what I received makes me feel disappointed, the risotto was so greasy and de pasta was unsalted very untasted, I ll never order or go there again
Pizzeria Via Napoli is more than just a restaurant; its an experience that stays with you long after youve left. From the moment you step through the door, youre transported by the aroma of authentic cuisine that dances on your tongue. Their mushroom truffle ravioli is simply unforgettable Ive dreamt about it during my travels and eagerly await my return. What truly sets Pizzeria Via Napoli apart, though, is their exceptional staff. Each visit feels like a reunion with friends. Ryan, in particular, has a knack for making every dining experience special. My daughter feels genuinely loved and appreciated here. She even collaborated with Ryan to create her own drink, aptly named Sophia with an F a testament to the personalized care they offer. Im grateful for this haven of culinary delight. Pizzeria Via Napoli, I wish you continued success and eagerly anticipate making more cherished memories at your establishment.
very tasty pizza and excellent service
Parking: Back side parking Food
I just want to share a picture of the salad that cost me 25$ (22+tax). Do you think is fair? Just a little bit of tomatoes and burrata goes on top. Of course the food was tasty but what about the size of the portion? It is not nice at all.
Great pizza and service. Only down side the place is freezing and many areas have the AC blowing down on you.
Authentic and good italian pizza is rare in North America, but here i found it!
food wasnt great. manager was rude. overall not a good experince.
The vibes seemed a bit off, there was a bit of tension in the air between the kitchen and the waiters. Would not recommend. My food was also quite tasteless, and slightly cold.
I popped in because I was in the area and wanted to see their pizza menu. When I saw their full menu I was happy to see all the great options. I ordered the seafood risotto and it was absolutely amazing. The seafood was cooked to perfection and tender and it was well seasoned and the risotto was creamy and delicious. I m so happy I ve found a great local spot. I will definitely be back to try out more items on the menu.
Best wood fired pizza i have had in Canada.
Excellent service with good food.
A very nice first time .will come back .Amy r server was great . A pleasant young lady
After a few years I have returned to this restaurant and I must confess that today I have had a pleasant experience. 100% recommended.
Excellent food and service. A gem.
Meets & exceeds all your Italian comfort carb dreams. First time visit, but will definitely be returning!
Arancini done in squid ink 10/10 AmazeBALLS! Food
Delicious!
Really great spot for Italian food and drinks. Got a margarita with some Calamari and a pizza. Loved everything and the service was great too.
Amazing food! The pizza and pasta is incredible, real authentic Italian. The waitresses were extremely kind and service was awesome. Will definitely be back!
We had the best Italian meal here. The service and the food were amazing. This was our first time but w will be back. Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free pasta.
A great cozy neighborhood gem! Delicious food, great service, and amazing value.
Great place for wood oven pizza and beverages
Never disappointed! A gem in Etobicoke!
Insane pizza. Probably the best pizza I ve ever had. Cannoli was not the best tho I recommend the chocolate cake forsure
This restaurant has become one of my favorite local spots. Pizza is great and the risotto is delicious. The service is very friendly and the ambience is lovely. Looking forward to their patio season!
Amazing food n ambience !!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Don t leave without trying the Tiramisu!
The best pizza on a perfect crust, thanks to the extremely hot oven. PS: Oh no! Are they closing? Food : 5/5
Enjoyed our Sunday brunch. We ordered Burrata, Calamari Alla Griglia & Pizza Casareccia. Everything tasty and fresh. The dessert Tiramisu is unique. We will come back for sure.
Pizzas crust was completely burnt. This was my first time buying from this place and I regret it. If we were not far, I would have definitely returned all the three.
My father got hooked on Neapolitan pizza on our last Europe trip. So decided to take him here for dinner. The pizzas were great. The gnocchi and the mushroom ravioli were equally impressive. The service was attentive and atmosphere relaxing. We found street parking a few steps from the restaurant.
The pizza was terrible..
Gamberi Diavola was so delicious and pesto pizza was top notch. Good food=good mood.
Place is always excellent.
Perfect Pizza quality and taste.
I have tried a few dishes so far, they are good overall but I d say their specialty is the pizza. The Risotto al funghi was nice, it was nicely cooked but I feel that it lacked flavour and salt. The gnocchi was also nicely cooked but the rose sauce taste was almost like a tomato sauce taste and I don t like tomato sauce. It doesn t even indicate that its a rose sauce in the menu. The mushroom pizza was really tasty, no complaints, thin crust and topped with mushrooms. My favourite so far has been the Mele E Miele pizza. It is flavorful exotic and just perfect. The only thing I d remove is gorgonzola cheese. The green apples with speck and honey was a delicious combination. Its wood oven baked pizza so its impossible to not taste great, it is definitely my favourite type of pizza.
Ive brought friends and family, and we are slowly working our way through the menu. Never disappoints.
In a time where alot of restaurants are serving sub-par quality food (sorry but true), I wasnt expecting anything... however, I have to say it was one of the best food experiences Ive had in a very long time!! Had the burrata (the candy tomatoes are soooo good!) to start and then classic neapolitan pizza as well as the meat pizza (sorry cant remember the official name). I was in heaven!! Ingredients were fresh and the pizza was cooked to perfection (they have a pizza oven which is why I went in the first place). Our Server was a amazing and the atmosphere was homey. If I didnt have to go back to work Id still be there grazing and almost ready to order another dish. I will be back and will slowly make my way through their whole menu!!
Pasta was undercook and flavorless. Very disappointing.
A great addition to the area, with great vibes and great food! Also, bonus hidden patio in the back! Weve been to this Italian restaurant for the second time and the food has been consistently delicious. Their menu ranges from the standard pizza, pasta and appetizers that have been great choices so far! For the antipasti (appetizer), weve had the Arancini (mushroom risotto balls with squid ink breading and truffle aioli), Calamari Fritti (deep-fried calamari), and Calamari Alla Griglia (grilled calamari in romesco sauce). Dont miss out on the Arancini, we almost ordered a second helping cause of how delicious it was! For mains (Pasta e Risotto section), weve had the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Tonnarelli Pescatore. Both were solid choices and look small, but very filling and worth the value. For Pizze Rosse, weve ordered the Pizza Oro, Vesuvio and the Pepperoni. Very generous amounts of pepperoni and toppings. The Vesuvio eggplant pizza was very delicious as well! For Pizze Bianche, weve ordered the Tartufo. The Tartufo became one of the tables favourites! They cook the pizza via their wood-fired oven and can see it done in person. The attention from the cook is great to watch! The service was great with staff checking constantly on water, service and food. They accept cash or credit cards. The music is a tad loud pending on the number of people, but the overall vibe and staff are overly friendly. The bar area and dining area are very clean and organized as well. The bathroom is in the back near the patio/bar area. Do note, that the restaurant has parking which is located in the back and you enter via the Cordova Avenue side (after the convenience store). Overall, would recommend friends and family to visit again for the delicious eats!
Parking: Very limited number of spaces in the back, but decent street parking. Food
Love the atmosphere here. The pizza tasted good. It is definitely a higher end place. The staff is amazing. Come and ask for Ryan.
Lovely place in the neighborhood. Great service with delicious down to earth Italian food. Decently priced. Recommended!
Pizza was good, but the Arancini looked as if it had journeyed to Mordor itself and back to dispose of the one true ring. It was as black as my heart. Why they thought this was appropriate to send to someone I ll never know
The place has changed management. The traditional Neapolitan style pizza is no longer made here. They try, and the food is still fairly good, but its lost the touch of what Neapolitan is supposed to be like. If thats what you are looking for.. They have also changed the menu and is a lot more mainstream..will attract the demographics of the area more I guess.. Updated review from January 2023. Seems like this place has changed management again, and the food is much better. The pizza and calamari were delicious, but still not Neapolitan style dough. However will be back and got an extra since my last review.
Great little restaurant. Friendly staff, very accommodating to allergies and fresh food.
Family style pizza house. Friendly service n has a bar at the back. Pizza were ok but not authentic Napoli pizza. We had a Margherita pizza, tomato sauce was not great. Im not keen. The white pizza was much better. No parking available. We parked in the neighborhood.
Never disappoints with the pizzas
I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats and unfortunately, the food arrived without cutlery and the tiramisu was melted. We were a bit disappointed with that. However, I must say that the food itself was absolutely awesome! It was really delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The taste and quality of the pizza was especially impressive. Despite the minor inconveniences, I would definitely recommend this place for its fantastic food.
Always amazing service and the food is consistently great ! Patio is the best for summertime.
Nice pizza. A bit expensive but worth it
Good food and good services
This restaurant is one of my favourites, beautiful interior, great music and service! The food here is enjoyable and has a wide range of options that accommodate most dietary restrictions. The pizzas are a staple. Vegetarian options: The menu was able to accommodate vegetarian customers! Kid-friendliness: Well accommodating to people with children, groups of teenagers
Plenty of vegetarian options. We ordered the eggplant balls, a mushroom pizza and the eggplant pizza. The mushroom pizza was good, though the mushrooms could use a bit more salt. But it was completely overshadowed by the eggplant dishes. Totally delicious!
Delicate flavors but really delicious food. Both the eggplant appetizer and pizza were amazing but the mushroom pizza was a bit under-seasoned to our taste Vegetarian options: Lots of great options if you like eggplants
Amazing food! Mini is great manager & helped with the food suggestions..
The place is small. They made the pizzas in front of you. Its really hand-made pizzas. The place is cozy and nice.
We had a lovely diner on the beautiful back patio. Everything was delicious and we liked the authentic Italian style of the food. Very nice staff.
Great food and service. Our server Adam was wonderful. A great Mothers Day dinner!
Pizza was very tasty and was friendly to the guy..felt healthy. Service was quick and environment was good.would recommended.we ate a veggie pizza with basil cheese.. onion red bell pepper
Love the back patio.. Adam was amazing at service and respect.. shame to see him go away to university.. but thats pride in the neighborhood kids yeah
Best pizzas you can find in the area!
Great pizza
Its a small restaurant, but worth tha visit. Their pizzas are made in a wood burning oven and the quality is very good. We had the calamari and two pizzas. Both were very well done and cooked to perfection. The service was also fantastic! Our server was very friendly and attentive telhe whole time. As a first time customer I felt very welcome. Looking forward to visiting again and trying out more pizzas and pastas here!
The food was great and a nice private patio at the back of the restaurant.. I had their CASARECCIA pizza and ZEPPOLE DI SAN GIUSEPPE for desert. Our server was pretty forgetful even though it wasnt busy. There were a few occasions I had to remind her for items, like the drink menu or the cappuccino that I ordered with the dessert.
Delicious pizza and so friendly staff. The patio is so cute and cozy. Definitely try the Tiramisu
Great prices and amazing food and drinks! The service is amazing as well! You should definitely go :)
Below is the review from our first experience. Unfortunately, after this week s visit, I ve had to alter my review and rating. With several menu items unavailable, it seemed like they aren t really trying. I had plenty of options for my birthday dinner, and was looking forward to the tagliatelle- but alas, it wasn t available. I think if you re changing the menu, you change the menu, you don t short change your customers before the shift. Seriously disappointing. And, sadly, the pizza we had set aside to leave with, never made it out of the restaurant, as the server neglected to bring it to us yea, and we forgot until later :( The food we were able to order was all pretty good, but didn t entirely make up for what wasn t there that we went there for in the first place. Previous review: An outstanding meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Pizzeria Via Napoli. Everything we ordered was excellent, from the pizza to the pastas and all of the seasonal delights. They even go out of their way to make the Caesar salad special with a terrific house made dressing with fried pancetta yum! If you haven t tried this spot yet, put it to the top of your list. Excellent service from Gabriella made the evening a total success. We ll be returning for sure!
Margherita is very good
Ordered nearly half the menu for pickup, ready super quick, every item was great. Not an easy feat. Highly recommend. Ribeye steak was excellent.
Cozy, polite staff, delicious lamb secondi
I recently dined at Pizza Via Napoli, and while the experience had its ups and downs, it left me with mixed feelings. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the spaghetti e polpette, which proved to be a delicious choice. The lamb meatballs in particular were the stars of the dish. However, not all dishes lived up to our expectations. We decided to try the pescatore pasta, grilled calamari, and margherita pizza, and unfortunately, they fell short of personal standards. The two pescatore dishes we ordered had an odd and sour taste, which was rather disappointing. To make matters worse, one of the dishes was supposed to include clams, but they were mysteriously absent. The other dish had clams, but a staggering 80% of them remained tightly closed, which was quite off-putting. Moving on to the pizza, it was decent but not exceptional. While the overall flavor was acceptable, the cheese lacked the richness and depth that one would hope for in a truly satisfying pizza. It left us longing for a more flavorful and robust cheese topping. Finally, the grilled calamari left much to be desired. Not only was the portion size disappointingly small for the price, but the taste and texture were also underwhelming.
Great dinner in the patio! Most people were enjoying their wood oven pizza but I opted for lighter fare, grilled calamari with Romano sauce and melon with prosciutto and a delicious glaze. A perfect combination for a light summers meal! Great service, excellent food, handy parking in the back. I will certainly return!
Overall it was very good - just quite hot inside the restaurant which was the only inconvenience. Food and service was A+
Overall, good experience and good food. The pizza was really delicious. However, not the case for pasta. And it was warm inside and AC was not effective enough during a summer lunch time.
Amazing food and service
Authentic caesar salad with anchovies-real napoli way!!! very homey and cozy. Risottos were very nice. Already visited twice :) There s a pizza oven inside the restaurant that adds the cozy atmosphere.
Items ordered: Margherita pizza Vesuvius pizza Radicchio and mele salad Dough is amazing, light, super thin and expertly cooked. Sauce tastes like tomatoes from Italy and nothing else. Not smothered in cheese but just the right balance. Quite likely the best pizza I ve had outside of Italy, and better even than many of those had in Italy. A note about the radicchio salad - it didn t have much radicchio and was mostly arugula, although arugula is not mentioned in the menu description. I like arugula so I didn t mind, but it might be disappointing for someone who doesn t like arugula.
Had a delicious meal on the patio. Service was superb. Pizzas are great! Pasta yum.
Wonderfull place
This is the 3rd time I had been here. I was told this place has the best Marguerite pizza in Etobicoke, but i was disappointed. The pizza was soggy all 3 times I went, less than impressed for the price paid Food
Grilled octopus was amazing!!
First time in Pizzeria Via Napoli and it s a wonderful experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. I highly recommend this place.
It s the first time I have thrown a pizza into the garbage. The Paisano that I ordered had raw pieces of chicken. We were eating in the car and in the dark didn t realise I had eaten partially cooked chicken. I felt a slimy taste in my mouth. Just hope we don t fall sick . The other pizzas were totally flavour less with inferior quality cheese . The restaurant seems to have gone from bad to worse.
Delicious Italian spot! I tried the Montenegro mule which was delicious, and started with the calamari which was perfectly cooked and super flavourful. We split the margharita pizza and the gnocchi which were both delicious.
One of my favorite pizza joints.
Went there for my sons birthday. It is one of his favorite places. Great evening. Kid-friendliness: We had 6 kids with us aged 4mo to 14 years. Wheelchair accessibility: On street level
The go-to pizzeria in the city! Had a large order of pizzas and pasta for an event and could not be more pleased! Everyone absolutely loved the pizza! And officially my new favourite pasta place! Excellent customer service experience. And the manager Gabriella was so kind and friendly. Will definitely be ordering again soon!
My family and I came here to celebrate my mothers birthday. Real authentic Italian food! We ordered almost everything on the menu, and everything was superb. Italian thin crust pizzas, really good calamari and appetizers. Creamy risotto! What more can you ask for? Will come back 100%
Love this place, amazing food! Their tiramisu is to die for!
I was there today, the two servers were amazing !!! A MUST TRYYYYY
margherita pizza was amazing
Normally Im already a big fan of the pizzas at this pizzeria... now the sweet pizza version is even better. Mirtilli and Nuttela
Food: 3/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Was recommended to me as the best pizza in town. We ordered the calamari fritti and two pizzas. The calamari lacked seasoning but had good texture. Pizza Oro was very delicious - just the right amount of spice. Pizza Bufalina lacked any flavour whatsoever, and it had cheese and meat on it so not sure what went wrong. The biggest issue by far for us was the customer service. We would have stayed for dessert, but decided not to bother. Won t be back despite living in the area and enjoying pizza because of the service.
Amazing gnocchi and cannolis. Ordered takeout several times
We hosted our children s baptism reception here this past Sunday. Gabriella the manager was amazing and super helpful in the pre planning phase. All of our guests were blown away by the food quality. The pizza is my favourite but my sister in law says she always orders risotto to compare and she said it was spectacular. Service was top notch. I apologize to any patrons who were there while we were as we had some rambunctious children who are all picky eaters but also loved every bite from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend you consider this small local business for your next small event or holiday party
First time there. Pleasantly surprised by the incredible food! Service was excellent as well.
Server was helpful making great recommendations for the food and wine pairing. Pasta was good but pizza stole the show with the pizza oven being from Italy!
Fabulous food. Will visit again for sure! Vegetarian options: Friend loves their food Food : 5/5 |
Wow, this is just a golden gem. So far the best pizza I have had in Canada, the Expresso martini is just on point and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!!! Big Koodos to the chef!!! Amazing job
My go to place to have italian food. Pizza is made right in front of your eyes from the scratch which makes the eating experience better than ever. You can ask for a candle light dinner table if you are going out on a date.
I brought my Mom to celebrate her Birthday at Via Napoli!!! Spencer and Staff are excellent. Their service is exceptional. The pizza is delicious. I have been recommending it to all my friends and family. The price is reasonable & their Wine is sooo good!!! Can t wait to bring my husband and daughter to this wonderful cozy , relaxing , amazing italian ristorante!!! Arjeta
Best authentic wood fired pizza in the west end, let alone Toronto. Been all over Italy and these pizzas come very close! Shout out to Trevor, our favourite server who goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a perfect meal!
Major quality issues and poor customer service. My husband and I like to support local restaurants and weve ordered here several times. But lately quality has gone way down. This order was the last straw. We ordered the Bufalina Pizza and it came with these huge chunks of straight up fat (pictured) which was supposed to be prosciutto. It was disgusting in texture, impossible to eat or cut. Seriously the worst pizza Ive ever had. When I called the restaurant they were supremely unhelpful and didnt apologise, nor seem to care that there was an issue. The food was totally inedible. I will never order from here again.
Great place, service and food. Cant go wrong here.
Excellent pizzas and pasta. Staff friendly, polite and fast service.
Very underratted place, the co-workers were very very friendly. The food was amazing and the cappuccino was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. It was not very busy, so they deserve Better. Peace out: Your boy Tijs .(I am the guy with more muscles)
Really loved the place, pizza is delicious and the service is just great - very fast and friendly. Will come again for sure!
Read the reviews and got two pizzas. Disappointed!
Rock solid Italian food! Great level of hospitality. Mimi and Ryan personify outstanding service. Let the good times roll. This crew makes you feel at home. Impressive! Thank You!!!
Cozy atmosphere and delicious pizza. I ll definitely be back!
Good pizza
I used to order take-outs from this restaurant on a regular basis - until yesterday. We ordered Quattro Formaggi Pizza and added prosciutto as an option - this was the worst prosciutto I ve seen in my life - it was sliced very thick with half being fat. I just threw those pieces out. I didn t take photos because I was not going to write this review until I ate the pasta that we ordered along with pizza for my today s lunch. My pasta had an enormous amount of Pepper in it - I couldn t bear it. I always order this pasta and it has never been that spicy , I can only taste pepper and nothing else. I also don t see any piccorino cheese on top. Maybe there is such a little amount that I won t find it. Nothing like pictured by customers from other reviews who were probably dining in. Maybe they think that a take-out customer doesn t deserve to get the same quality food as those dining in? I don t know what was the issue there but I m not coming back - too much frustration.
Fantastic grilled calamari with romesco sauce, great service.
Good pizza Good bread Missing Brio!!!
A big fan of Neapolitan pizzas and this place serves one of the best pizzas, you actually see your pizzas taking shape in front of you. Mimi our server was too good, she was on top of everything right from us being served to also frequent checks for any condiments, we actually ordered whatever she suggested and it was mind blowing. We went for Vesuvio pizza, first bite of it and it was woww, it had some chunks of garlic in it which was giving amazing sharpness and for the pasta we went with again Mimi s recommendation Cavatelli Lombardi which again was amazing. The service was fast and really really good, we will be here soon to try their other pizzas.
I don t even know where to start I love this place the stuff is lovely the pizza is probably top three I ve ever had a wide selection the bartender made me a espresso martini those amazing drink selection is great and prices are very good for what you get I will be back and be a regular here
First time eating at this place, but the food is amazing! Everything is home made and the staff are really nice and to top it all, their pricing are low! It cost me 33$ for an appetizer, a dinner and a dessert
Friendly service in a relaxed patio area. Real wood-fired brick oven pizza --- Delicious!
Genuine Pizza place
Easy ordering for pick up. Served pizza as part of catering. This pizza is def better eaten right away vs other pizzas that can be eaten the next day. nice thin crust. blazed in an authentic traditional pizza oven. the staff was excellent! great location
Delicious and an amazing price
We ordered Paisano for pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that was worthy eating. We also ordered the Rigatoni with sausage and it was very meh. I ordered a mocktail with the orange juice and cream and I barely drank it- it needed more flavour in it. Will definitely be back for takeout for the pizza, but the other items were lacking in flavor.
I ordered takeout through ubereats and got the Risotto ai Funghi ($21). First of all it was a big portion, enough to feed two people! So great value for the price. Out of the Italian restaurants I ve tried in the GTA, they do mushroom risotto the best (thus far). LOTS of mushrooms, like in every bite, and you can taste the truffle oil and parmesan well. The risotto is perfectly cooked and the texture was great even though I ate it over 2 hours later and reheated! So I imagine it must ve been like God s dinner while fresh. I would definitely get this again and try their other dishes too. I live in Mississauga but will make the drive out just for this risotto! I m excited to also try their other pasta dishes, eyeing their cavatelli lombardi next! They have really good vegetarian options which I m happy about. I d recommend this place to others and for dine in as well. The food is worth the trip for sure!
Cant wait to go back!
Great place to have lunch, or dinner. The staff is really friendly, great atmosphere, and the food is very tasty. We ordered olives (they were served warm), two separate pizzas, and calamari. It was too much for the both of us, but we ate it all! Highly recommend. Food : 5/5 |
Amazing Italian food! The pizza and pastas are all delicious!
Outstanding pasta, pizza, and service. Great drinks as well. Dietary restrictions: Accommodates dairy allergy
Went there for a girls night....food and service was amazing and drinks were top shelf! Will def be back:)
Great pizza! Delicious flavours, with a thin and crispy crust. We ordered the Bufino, Mele e Miele, and Diavola pizzas, plus the rigatoni bolognese which was great too.
We ordered wood oven pizza , gnocchi and cannoli. Everything was excellent! Great selection of pizzas. The service was also great and the prices were decent. The interior is OK, good for a casual lunch or dinner.
By far the best Italian wood fire pizza in GTAbetcha! Especially the pizza maker Kotla he s so awesome try Alpesto one
The pepperoni pizza with basil was heavenly. We had the pizza Oro their most popular pizza) and could taste every topping, the texture, all combined in one pizza. Glad we went here for brunch. The cannoli was out of the world, we got the cherry and the pistachio cannoli. Yes, the pizzas are totally worth it and good value for the buck.
