Combining classic Italian dishes with a modern twist; Posticino transpires the inspiration of Italian culture into food.
Nice place, good ambience & friendly staff. Good Italian food, French portions.
I had an incredible experience at Posticino to celebrate my 25th birthday! The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The owners truly went above and beyond to make the evening special, even treating me to a complimentary dessert. The drinks were outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. It's clear that they take pride in their menu and quality ingredients. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an exceptional dining experience at this Italian restaurant in Toronto! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Alejandra provided us with fantastic recommendations and ensured we had a memorable evening. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a delightful meal with friends or family. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine and impeccable service in the heart of Etobicoke!
We were 2 couples for dinner. The ambience was good, staff very attentive and food was delicious.
Super amazing romantic restaurant with traditional high end quality Italian food with friendly fast service and a good selection of dishes. We enjoyed our dinner, the place is clean with lots of parking in front and to the side of the restaurant, highly recommend
Exceptional Italian food! The pasta & fish dishes were superb. All matched with attentive service and a great vibe atmosphere.
This was a nice restaurant, it's a good place if you love wine. They have a huge wine selection. The meal portions were very small for the price, however it did taste good. It was a nice experience but I don't think I would go again. Also there isn't enough parking in the area. It took a while for me to find parking. While I was there the service was very slow. We were so thirsty and no one came to refill our water. It took a while for us to get water and the food took a long time to come out as well.
Ate here in sept 2022 and had a great experience. Extensive wine selection, great variety of entrees to choose from.. we had the orrichetti w sausage and veal Marsala along with fried calamari to start and tiramisu for desert. All was excellent. Service and attention to our experience was also above average. This one gets added to the rotation.
I love Italian food, but unfortunately, this restaurant wasnt it for me. The mussels that we ordered - at least 3 of the mussels were missing from the shell and some were closed so we couldnt eat. The pasta was blend. The veal limone we got, veal was cold when it came out. Overall, portions were small compared to how pricey it was. Atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. There was live singing, and gives off a family vibe. The service was also great. Servers are super attentive.
Amazing dinner as usual and great service by Frank, Antonio, and the crew. Always have a great night here.
Had a great dish of seafood pasta. One of the best Ive had in a long time. The chef was a real delight as well. Thanks!
Food was ok
We celebrated a 25th anniversary at Posticino. Food was excellent. Pre selected menu. So much food! Delicious!
Amazing food
Incredible food, service and atmosphere! A perfect place for date night!
This was our first time at this restaurant, service was great, food was amazing, staff were extremely friendly and helpful , I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great restaurant in the south Etobicoke area, we will definitely be going back soon
The food was delicious, and the service was good overall. We will definitely go back. Vegetarian options: They have several options for a vegetarian. Parking: After 6PM its free.
Theres a reason its a staple for italian families in the area, great food great service
Nothing special.
Excellent!! Congrats
Great food fantasist service we had a grate evening chef Antonio is great
This restaurant manages the balance between a fine dining and family-business vibe with warm personal service and attention to detail and quality in every aspect of the service. Its always a joy to dine here. We always feel welcome.
Absolutely amazing restaurant. Thank you for your accommodations tonight. The food and service was amazing
First time here..
Always the best italian dishes.
Came here last week to have dinner with my husband on my birthday. The food was delicious, everyone working there was super kind and friendly and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back.
Best food in Toronto!
Great food and friendly service
Great food! Great service! And great atmosphere! Food : 5/5
Posticino is always treats us like family! Never a bad time when the food, service and company are excellent!
Great family celebration. Never a bad meal even over two decades.
We have been coming to Posticino for many years. Ideal for groups and gatherings. We have enjoyed our date nights, meeting with friends, celebrating special family occasions and hosting business events. From the the moment you enter Franco greets you with a warm welcome. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. The chef Antonio s dishes are flavourful and mouthwatering. The appetizers, pastas, mains all delicious. It s difficult to leave room for dessert but we somehow manage. Always delectable and decadent. Posticino is where delicious food and good friends come together.
All the food was very good and the service was great.
Great Italian. Pasta Fagioli soup as it should be.
Ordered the veal chop because it was a dish I had never seen before and it was delicious!
I hope this was a bad night for these guys - it hurts my brain to leave a bad review on a local business but the food was flavourless, produce old, and taste worse and more expensive than what pastuccis across the street has to offer. I would encourage others to think twice before spending money here and leaving disappointed. Pros: -service was pleasant- our server was friendly, asking if we lived in the area and if it was our first time visiting. -complimentary bread + olive oil -complimentary bruschetta Cons: -some of the greens the app were served on were wilted -the tomatoes in the bruschetta were also going bad -we ordered the calamari on the menu described as deep fried calamari for $24. The server asked if we liked shrimp, and he said he would throw some in. Totally fine with a small extra charge, would have appreciated if he told us about the 25% upcharge but he did not- that s business practice these days I guess. For $32, we were served 1/2 fried calamari and half fried sardine fillets (or similar sized fish) and small fried shrimp. We didn t find out about it until time to pay the bill. The oil the seafood was fried in must have not been very hot as it came out soggy and smelled eggy. Bland, no seasoning, no sauce on the side, though it did come with a lemon that had not yet gone bad, so I guess that s a plus. Would not recommend. -we got a veal bolognese and an orechiette pasta. For $25/26 a plate, I would have guessed it was fresh pasta but it was not. A fair amount of the tagliatelle were stuck together, the sauce was beyond bland tasting. A cheap fix to improve this dish could include diced garlic or ground black pepper. It wasn t as bad as my partners dish -my partner got the sausage orechiette pasta, which included large chunks of rapini visibly going bad in a bath of oil. I was told it was also unseasoned and bland. Easy fix for this would be garlic, fennel for the sausage, a touch of chilli flakes, or smoked sausage, among other things -water was never refilled At the end of this experience, having spent nearly $150 I left feeling like this was a waste of time and money, and I was severely disappointed in supporting this local establishment. While the cost of everything has gone up and I acknowledge this restaurant may have been doing their best, restaurants at similar price points do not have all of these issues and as a customer, I couldn t recco this to anyone. Hope they can bounce back from this but in the meantime I d recommend staying away
My favorite place for Italian food in GTA. Service is amazing
Amazing food! Always a great time.
The best Italian restaurant, 10/10. Antonio and Frank make this place feel like home. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is very welcoming and Christian gives us the best service every time. Must try the specials!
The best food, service, and atmosphere. Antonio JR is a stellar server and caters to your every need. Words cant express how good this place is.
There are not many restaurants like this these days! Food is excellent and the service is top quality, true professionals. I have referred many people to go as this is a personal favourite restaurant of mine and everyone says they love it! Take my word and go out and try!
The food was good and the server was enthusiastic.
Posticino offers an exceptional dining experience! The food is simply outstanding, bursting with flavor in every bite. The staff are friendly, attentive, and contribute to the warm atmosphere. From the moment you step in, you feel welcomed. Whether for a special occasion or a casual meal, Posticino delivers on all fronts. A definite must-visit for Italian cuisine enthusiasts!
Great service, food is simply AMAZING!!!!, its a great family atmosphere, stuff is very attending but in a non intrusive way, just like in Europe, and I guess they know how good their food is, so they dont come to your table every 5 minutes to ask if everything is ok, yet they know exactly when you need something, prices are in a range of the Keg, but food is 5 times better, and the fact that their menu is not big, it means that dishes they offer and serve are made with passion and care, everyone should try their veal chop with gorgonzola cheese, I have never had anything so delicious in my life , money well spent, and true fine dining when it comes to food flavors
Fusilli al Pollo was ok, but can you imagine paying $20 before taxes and tip, for this Caprese salad? Tomato was unripe and appears to have been cut by a child with hooks for hands. Next to no oil or balsamic on it. Cheese was mediocre.
Wow what a great Experience! Will definitely be coming back and telling my friends. Food was delicious and a very tasty. Very fresh!
WHAT A JOKE. My brothers and I have been visiting this place for years. I haven t been in a few myself but always had fond memories of when I did. I walk in tonight with my wife. First off. It s like if you re not Tony Soprano they look at you like what are you doing here. They have ONE SERVER working the whole place while Uncle Paulie the chef walks around talking to everyone and the owner tossing the wannabe mobsters espressos on the other side. Bread was incredibly stale. Mussels sauce was about half a cup worth. Veal chop with Gorgonzola was incredibly chewy. Potato s were half cooked. No check up on us. Do you need anything else. Nah, let s take care of our Sopranos on the other side. What an absolute waste of money and time.
Unfortunately they seat us next to a party of 8 or 9 women, I had a hard time keeping a conversation with my friends, due to the loud girls night out or birthday next to us....
Had our office get-together here. Great food and great service. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food.
Such a warm inviting atmosphere, we could have stayed all night! Delicious food, great wine very personal service the hospitality of your establishment was impeccable. Thank you for an excellent dining experience, we look forward to coming back. Cheers!
Food wasnt too bad. Small portions, taste was average (penne ala vodka, ceasar salad, capese salad). Not worth the price being charged.
We went to the restaurant tonight and my wife had the bolognese - about an hour later food poisoning and she is still sitting on the toilet - awful!!!
Best food and best service in town for Italian fine dining. Lasagne is the best Ive ever had
Went there for Valentines Day the price was high very high quantity very very small huge plates but no food inside and to top it off the waiter comes takes our order which was fine after we were done eating we find out that they had heart shape ravioli when I asked another gentleman his reply was oh the waiter didnt mention it but its okay looks like you enjoyed your food sure whatever little I got and to top it off they had a set menu but the heart-shaped ravioli was not on there overall I will give them two out of 10 very very disappointed
Amazing pasta and risotto, and great service!
Super friendly service on Thursday, comfortable atmosphere and Italian food. Easy Parking.
The food was good not busy it was clean Along with the washroom service was fine we did not like something but they accommodated 7/10 Parking: Parking was okay but not all the cars in the lot were people in the restaurant
This place is awesome. Pasta or veal you cant go wrong. They make excellent gnocchi.
Absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Thank you!!! Food : 5/5
We hosted our company holiday season party at Posticino over the weekend. Antonio, Frank and their entire team did an amazing job. The food and service were excellent, and all of our guests had a wonderful time at Posticino. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating regarding food allergies and dietary preferences.
Just dropped by chance and I could not resist presentation! Absolute fantastic quick and professional service. I ll will return for sure! Fancy too!
Veal amazing
Was not impressed poor quality seafood and service was weak at best .
I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Delicious! The olive oil was a real treat. The tiramisu is made with real mascarpone. The ambiance is perfect.
Cute Italian restaurant..busy with some large parties when we called and still was able to fit 6 of us on a Saturday evening....food delicious definitely recommend
Amazing food and ambiance. Extended wine selection as well.
Love!!!! Had the Ceasar salad, the fusilli pasta and the aperol spritz. Food and service was amazing!
Bartender was awsome! Server was friendly and welcoming. Mussels were delicious. I will be returning
Not very good. Was sat down without a menu by the manager/owner for a good 6-7 min when the restaurant was empty. Server didnt come for a while. Pasta is not made in-house and it clearly tasted like it. Ordered the Orecchiette alla Barese and it tasted odd and the Italian sausage were definitely frozen for a long time. The sausage was old and dry. Left most of it on the plate (pictured) Would not recommend. Pricy and not worth.
Food is pretty good for the most part. Service was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was very nice and modern. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options here. Parking: Very little parking near the restaurant, its mostly street parking which is always full because of the location of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly here. Brought my kids on 3 occasions. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking in the rear and wheelchair friendly entrance.
I really wanted to like this place but the food and the service were just passable. We got seated fairly quickly since there was only two other customers in the restaurant. We sat for 10 minutes without a menu or a server come up to us. We had to ask for the menu and for water. The pasta was soggy, the sausage had a freezer burn taste to it overall, it was not the experience I was looking forward to based off their reviews. Not worth the time or money.
Expensive and food was average. A very noisy place on a Saturday night.
Overpriced and not very good.
The website needs to be updated. Prices are incorrect. Food was good but overpriced
The website has totally different prices, it needs to be updated with current prices
It doesnt even look or taste like fadt food
Not worth it. Overpriced and mediocre on all accounts. Go elsewhere.
Food was basic in flavour and very small portions. I had the arctic char that didn t taste fresh with side veggies that consisted of three small fried potatoes a strip of red pepper and a piece of barely cooked broccoli. I left hungry and disappointed. The staff was pleasant but I wouldn t come back nor recommend to eat here
The portions were on the slightly smaller side but they were very delicious and worth it. Very friendly staff too
A cozy fine dining experience with very personalized service.
Its official, Posticino is our goto Italian restaurant.
Held a corporate event in the private wine room. Thank you to Chef Antonio Pirone for providing a world class dinner. Special thanks to Sean and Frank for coordinating the menu and the sommelier who was outstandingly knowledgeable and passionate with each introduction of wine, specifically paired with our menu choices.
I came to this place on a friends recommendation, however the service was horrible!!! We asked for salt and it took 20 min nevermind everything else. This was the first and last time for us here
Very nice dishes and great service!
Great food and service
Overpriced for what you get: service was less than average, and food didn t taste great. Bread at the table was stale, calamari were gummy (flavor wasn t bad), pasta was bland (even had sand in my mushroom spaghetti), and char was just okay. Will not be visiting again.
I used to go to Posticino with a co-worker, who the staff knew, and I guess that s why, in the past, I had such a great experience. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience last night. 4 out of 6 of our guests arrived at the time of our reservation but 2 of our guests got caught up in terrible traffic so we decided to have some appetizers while we waited. First of all, it took at least 20 minutes before the server came to our table. We ordered our drinks and explained that we would like appetizers for the table while we waited for our other guests to arrive. We had to ask three times for our appetizers as we kept seeing tables around us (that arrived after us) getting bread and their appetizers well before we did. Some tables, again that arrived after us, received not only their appetizers but their main course before we had our appetizers. Now, in fairness to the waiter, he was running off his feet so I have no idea how many tables he was responsible for but apparently it was too much for him to handle. There were items on the menu that listed that they came with vegetables (that three of us ordered) and when it finally came to the table the vegetables weren t with it. When we asked to waiter about it and pointed out that it clearly says on the menu that they come with it, he just said they didn t. Despite our efforts to point it out to him, with the menu in our hand, he still refused to honour the menu. Also, the price of the Prosecco we ordered was different to what was on the bill. There were many other instances throughout the evening that ruined what was intended to be a lovely evening. As we were leaving, with a person who was on crutches and having a lot of difficulty walking, there was a large group of people just standing at the door holding drinks, blocking the exit, and not one of them moved until we adamantly asked them to give us some room to get out. Why someone in the restaurant wasn t at the front door, telling them they were blocking the doorway, is beyond comprehension. Your customers shouldn t be responsible for dealing with this. Sadly, I will not be returning and I will let my co-worker know about my experience as well. You could tell there were a lot of regulars there that received preferential treatment and quite frankly that s not fair to other customers in the restaurant. While I think it s appropriate to acknowledge regulars, it shouldn t come at the expense of others in the restaurant.
The best Italian food in toronto
beautiful restaurant with nice ambiance, great service. Food was decent, we didn t drinking today but the wine menu is big, great for wine lovers.
The appetisers were amazing, and the pasta mouthwatering Service was spot on. 100% recommend Posticino! Food : 5/5
Simply not tasty. Lacked flavour, had to ask for salt. Overall quality for price did not match up.
Incredible meal. Tasty and perfection. Wonderful service. Highly recommend
What a fantastic place. Ambiance, Service and food makes for a very pleasant dining experience.
Very nice restaurant. Great food. Homemade tiramisu. Everything I expected from an Italian so far away from home. We were particularly impressed by the blonde lady. She loves her job and made recommendations enthusiastically. Its better not to have your tip charged to your card but rather give it to the lady in cash.
A hit and miss place. Our first three visits were quite nice: attentive staff; decent wine. Tonight s visit was mediocre, at best. Indifferent service. Food OK but pricey. However, when I asked for a bottle of Prosecco, I neglected to check the label when it arrived. After all, why check such a thing in an Italian restaurant? It was only later that I discovered our prosecco was an Inniskillin sparkling wine: a special cuvee , no less. When I asked why Inniskillin sparkling was brought in response to a request for prosecco, the waiter said it was what he was told to bring out. A bit surprising from a restaurant that touts its Wine Spectator award. I guess Inniskillin has made inroads into the Italian wine scene. Suspect we won t be returning, which is unfortunate given its neighbourhood proximity. Chalk it up to experience, I guess.
Went there for a birthday party and had a very enjoyable time. Food and service was very good.
Great authentic Italian food, great service, always consistent. This is a go to place of ours!
Tasty food, great service, small portions
Nice restaurant good food service needs to be better Will be returning Food
Food is tasty and good. A bit overpriced for what really is, but nothing crazy. Food
Came here earlier this year. Wow. I had the most amazing water. Imported from Italy. It was life changing. Though Im not sure it was worth the $8 I paid for it. Careful how you answer flat or sparkling.
This is my first time in this restaurant and the service and everything is fantastic i highly recommend this restaurant i was here for my workplace Christmas party
Environment was just ok. Felt like we got robbed. There was barely any meat with pasta. How can you serve that little meat with any main course? The owner or chef should feel guilty about it. Test was just ok. Very disappointed and never going to go there.
Very Authentic Italian restaurant!!
Very nice food and service
Delicious!
The most authentic Italian dining experience in the city. Salute!
Great food
Had a work dinner here. Staff are friendly and attentive. I think we were a bit loud in our passionate conversation. Its a cozy place with an extensive wine menu and they were able to accommodate my colleagues specific requests.
One of my favourite restaurants. Incredible food, staff, and environment.
Great food and better people.
Best Italian food in the city!
Amazing restaurant, with great vibes and authentic Italian cuisine. Chef Antonio is incredible. One of the best places to go to for dinner!
Best Italian food in Toronto hands down!
Best pasta in the City!
Great experience !
Great food, great staff. A must try for anyone in Toronto.
Queensway treasure. Authentic italian.
Bang!
Always a great time! Amazing food, drinks, service and atmosphere!
Had an amazing experience when I stopped by for dinner with my family. Not only do they have the most delicious Italian food but they have welcoming staff who are sweet and hard working. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend this restaurant to all. I will definitely be back!
Delicious authentic Italian Food, amazing service, and kind staff!
Came here for a Last minute dinner plan for a friends birthday. We called the day of and luckily got a reservation in the evening. Our waitress was amazing and the overall experience was so great. The food was amazing, we ordered a bunch to share but I would definitely recommend the mussels.. cooked to perfection !! Thanks to the bartenders , made an excellent Aperol spritz! Big thanks to Franco for welcoming us with a big heart , it was a wonderful night .. will definitely be visiting again.
Enjoyed celebrating my wifes birthday. Great fish and steak. Home made tiramisu was great and cheese cake also. Will be going back again with more freinds and family. Worth the drive drive from Brampton to this Etobicoke gem. Service was professional and friendly.
Excellent Food , Entire Staff simply Amazing! Rosie
Excellent restaurant..need to try it - proof is in the pudding.....
This is one of the hidden gems in the Mimico area. One of the best Traditional Italian Restaurants I have ever eaten at outside of Italy. It is like eating at home with my parents. The food is excellent. The wine and drinks make a compliment to any meal. You can not get more traditional than the DEEP FRIED SMELT fish. It is not on the menu. Order them, you will be pleasantly surprised. I was. It was a speciality of my mother. It did not disappoint me. Joe
My family and I came here for a 65th birthday this past weekend and it was unreal !!! Food is authentic Italian perfectly cooked pasta served many different ways. I had the linguine with sea food and it was packed with sea foods !!! We were at table of 6 with appetizers and mains and desserts for the table . Service was very welcoming and we enjoyed the food and drinks so much !! The only thing that went sideways was the fact we forgot to mention to separate the bills ahead of time and the server stated he couldn t separate them for us at the end of the dinner . I was disappointed with that because I feel he should of mentioned about the bills when he sat us. But other than that I would recommend posticino for all the Italian food lovers . I came from hamilton to go to Toronto for this dinner simply because it is hard to find Italian food that is done right in hamilton! 100% go to posticino for all your Italian cravings
Great food. Friendly staff. Solid spot for Italian food.
I went for my birthday dinner, was served really awful meal. The server and probably whole restaurant were biased towards a brown woman having meal alone. Place is interestingly classic. one star for that.
There last night for the first time in many years...Food was delicious and the service was absolutely amazing...we will definitely go back...thank you for an amazing evening
Amazing place. Amazing food!
We have eaten there couple of times pre covid and were very happy. This visit not so. They may have changed owners or chefs? Food was bland. Risotto lacked actual mushrooms and needed garlic or basil or seasoning. The seafood linguine sauce was like tomato juice and not a nice thick ragout. Will not return.
My bf and I first time here, we were looking to try a new place and whenever we pass we see this restaurant full so we give it a try. We went on a Saturday evening we thought might be busy , we wait a little bit in the front door it wasn t busy so not to many hostess just 1 and got busy with a phone call, someone else have to take us to our table ( so is someone is in a hurry this is not ur place) my bf n I like to enjoy our meals and the tempos . The menu is not that big i found this great cuz is easy to choose, the prices are &30 dolar per pasta so i said little high but maybe the taste is the difference the antipasto $30 dolar it comes with figs so i like those , pepperoni , cheeses, the taste was really good my bf loved those, i was disappointed cuz the bread was cold , restaurants like this usually served hot bread, the traditional olive oil and balsamic vinegar amazing this one wasnt that stronger as i tried other ones before, the waiter was only one so we had to wait a few minutes for our drinks to get refill, the main course delicious i ordered the vitello ala marsala omg so tendered the flavor amazing I enjoyed so much with vegetables and french fries and little pepper my bf ordered vitello al limone is his favorite from every italian restaurant , he enjoyed also with veggies and French fries, $30 dl per plate, the atmosphere was very nice, cozy, romantic music played on the background we were really enjoying our dinner here , about the prices we found it little higher but had a great time. Everyone should give them a try.
We attended our granddaughters Communion here. Everything was perfect...the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend!
Excellent service and excellent food
Excellent service and great food.
Parking: Foodis very good parking like all downtown location difficult
Very good food, the wait staff where great and fast, very big wine list to choose from. But higher end $$$$
What a truly authentic Italian experience. Everything down to the sparkling water was Italian. The service was impeccable, the food delectable. I highly recommend visiting :)
Very nice restaurant. Would highly recommend and gladly dine there again
Excellent dining experience. Food was exceptional, service even better. Veal chop melts in your mouth, house wine out of this world. Would give 10 stars if possible. Frank and Antonio are wonderful hosts.
Beautiful little Italian restaurant with good prices and very good.
The food is absolutely five stars. Very fresh and prepared with care. The serving staff paid just the right amount of attention to our experience so that we felt completely taken care of, and yet not infringed upon. Frank, guided us to our parking, brought a comp appetizer and came for a personal introduction. Posticino understands top-shelf customer attention. We highly recommended the amarone, the garlic shrimp, and the Caprese salad. The Negroni was one of the best that Ive had. Please bring back the grilled Calamari
We were celebrating 3 birthdays and a 25th Anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was awesome! We will definitely be going back.
So unexpected! Great food and wonderful service.
On holiday in Canada I went to eat at the posticino restaurant. Everything excellent.
Wanted to love this place, but not one of my favorites. The service was good, the waiters were great, portions were a little small, orecchiette pasta was a little dry and a little too al dente. The calamari were sub par and for 24$ the amount was so little, splitting it with 2 people you get a few pieces. After I had my pasta, it was all over. I give them credit for serving me my own cake and singing a quick bday wish. Thank you for that, but I left a little hungry. I had 2 pieces of cake to make up for it. The menu is simple, quite small, which isnt a bad thing, but youre left feeling like there is not much more you can get after ordering an app and a main, unless u want to spend 40-50 on another main course, but dont take my word for it, I guess Im spoiled at home cooking Italian food myself.
Great quality, food portions would be small for some people but for me it was the perfect size. Would definitely go there again!
Came here for a business lunch - I had never been here before. It was very good. The food was fantastic and the ambiance and service were very good as well. I will definitely be coming back
Loved it. Pasta cooked al dente and tomato sauce definitely authentic. Great service. Hidden gem
Great place to have lunch or dinner. Staff is amazing and friendly.
Had a great experience here , server was very attentive and informative!
It was disappointing since we heard such rave reviews before going. Four of us all felt the food was just ok. Service was fast and friendly.
Just had dinner here tonight and it was okay, just okay... the salad of the day was radicchio with avocado and cheese, and was okay. I had the gnocci gorgonzola, which was delicious, but one of my party had a steak that was tough and gristly and came with one sprig of broccoli and one piece of pepper for veg. The service was good, but we were in a room with twenty women celebrating a birthday party, and asked to be moved because we couldnt hear our conversation over the neighboring party. Dessert was a very mediocre slice of carrot cake that tasted like it had been sitting in a refrigerator for a few days. We had a mediocre bottle of wine, and the total bill was over $300 for three... for that price I expected something better. Nothing came to our table that I cant make better at home, except maybe the gnocci. I was also surprised to see several tables with children under the age of 12, including one table with two kids that ordered their meal at 9 p.m.! They were well behaved, but still, a kid friendly restaurant where a full meal costs over $100 each? Parking: Lots of parking on the street in front.
Great Food , Great Wine Selection, Great Service !!!
Great food and service
Are you in Toronto and want to eat Italian? You are in the right place, here you will find flavors and smells of our Italy, where with the hand of the owner Chef, he ensures that the dishes live up to your expectations... just write... try and verify for yourself. 100% recommended
Great food, nice energy, friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
The food was amazing,Hat goes off to the chef. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant.
Great food great people and a wonderfull atmosphere!
Absolutely the best service and food. I will be making this place a regular stop.
I order the fresh pasta to cook with at home It is really quick and easy and tastes homemade
Excellent Italian food.
Always a warm and inviting time. The food is wonderful, and they always ask how the meal was. Antonio makes everyone feel like family. A great experience. Dont forget the dessert!
Excellent service and you can really taste the fresh ingredients.
I had a fantastic experience at Posticino. I was there for a pre-Leafs game meal (ACC is about a twenty minute drive, with traffic). Posticino was actually recommended to me by a former restauranter - so that is saying something in itself. Resturant itself is very classy. I was concerned that my group could be under dressed in our Leaf attire but our server and John made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious. I had a calamari appetizer as well as a mushroom pasta - and would order both again. Food quantity was excellent. When John found out we were first time visitors, he did something special for us. All in all, this was a great experience, we felt like valued guests and look forward to our next visit. Bravo!
Many times I am told about a place and when I arrive I am disappointed. NOT THIS PLACE! The greeting was warm. The parking (after 6), was free. The collection of happy people dining inside gave the place a lovely vibe. Then there was the service... accomodating and attentive. The food was mesmerizing and took me to my childhood and beyond. The feature of smelts were better than even my grandma made (which usually came fresh from the Don River, when it was clean) - and they were tail and bone-free! The bruschetta was delicious. The veal chop was so very tender, jammed with sensitive flavours and topped with.... pistachios. A side of rotini, hugging the sauce at every curve, topped with basil and sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano, that I believe was a blend. 1 glass of chianti, a sambuca and an espresso and I was done! Then, Chef Antonio came and convinced me to try the tiramisu that was specificall .made, carefully, in-house. That called for another espresso. When they both arrived, I could not get over the feeling of angels dancing on my tongue! A memeorable meal, experience and night! ILLL BE BAAAK!
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Feels like you are eating with family.
