50a Rexdale Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5Z3, Canada
Owner is a genuinely nice guy and so is his staff. The food is AUTHENTIC. Had the steamed fish with bammy and lobster shrimp combo.
Brown stew fish and steam fish excellent. Freshly done to order.
Hidden gem in the middle of Rexdale, I had the steam fish, was well seasoned and tasty, very nice.
The food is absolutely authentic only thing missing from my experience was the sand sun and sea. We started with the conch soup which was a straight 10, then we had the brown stewed fish with bammy and Mek mi tell yuh somn mannnn it was everything. As in a seafood lover, dis a mi new favourite spot yah now!!!! 100% recommend
First of all let me start of saying I love Jamaican food. I went there before and met the owner/chef he told me he was a vegetarian. He recommended the fish. The meal was very good. I went back today and was very disappointed. I called over the phone because I know good food takes time. For some reason the women over the phone kept offering white rice. I got there early and the food was ready…I ordered a jerk with rice and peas. I got my order and took it home to eat. As soon as I had the first bite I could tell there was something wrong. I could tell they were out of rice and peas so they mixed it with stale white rice and poured browning and salt over it. They couldn’t even put oxtail gravy on it. The chicken was old too. An hour after eating I threw up. Buyer beware.
Good people, good food, good vibes all day. Go check them out.
Theres many Jamaican restaurants in North Etobicoke - and this is One of Best We ordered two combos - fried chicken w/rice n peas and BBQ chicken w/mashed potatoes. Wow it was delicious, fresh, crispy and well priced large portions! I called and asked if they could omit chicken leg and he happily obliged. Great customer service. We will definitely be returning.
My family and I came here for the first time. Customer service is good. Thank you for that. Ordered shrimp pasta- was cold and cost was 19.00$ ordered shrimp with white rice cost- 17.00$ it was a bit salty but good. Ordered fried chicken and rice and peas the chicken tasted great but rice was cold. Overall the presentation was good but portions are really small for the price your paying for the food. This is why we give it 3.0. Thank you.i feel you guys need to decrease prices or increase the portions.

Simply delicious! Great new place and I love the fish!
Awesome tasting food.
Food and vibes. Great curry goat and seafood
One of the best restaurants in the GTA,the customer service is excellent. Their fish menu is somthing to die for, not to mention there shrimp ans lobster menu. I would recommend every one to this location.
Great price, very tasty, convenient location, and Delano Banton eats here.
Good food the best fry chicken around
I just came back from this restaurant and I ordered fried chicken with rice and peas. Came back home to eat it but their was some weird orange sauce all over the chicken and rice, making every soggy? Then when I tasted the rice it tasted like leftovers from 3 days ago. Then the chicken tasted like old unseasoned fried chicken. Waste of $10.50. SMH
New to this spot , went few time has never failed yet , lots of flavour!
Went in for jerk chicken this evening and I wish I had not. This was not jerk chicken. The rubbery dark brown season-less meat made me sick to my stomach. Worst attempt at jerk chicken I have ever tasted. I should have returned it only my foot is broken. Sad day.
BEST WINGS I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS Food
I m pretty sure I got robbed today lol the food is amazing but in total I paid $80 for 1 shrimp pasta and seafood dinner... the prices are insane and the portions are small. Good food but the prices don t make sense.
Customer service was great the food was incredible differently will be back
I enjoyed the food...
The BBQ fried chicken has me going back for more as often as I can..I love the family dynamic and the customer service. I cant wait til I can dine in person. And their ackee and saltfish is my husbands favorite! Their menu is delicious and they have so much to offer. Def my fave Jamaican food place to date. Try it for yourself, you wont be disappointed.
I order a small curried goat with mash. First, I will admit the price is quite high. About the food. I make a note to eat curried goat in almost every single Carribean restaurant I go to. Many of them are good, but Ive never jumped to write a review. This goat was absolutely flawless. Perfectly tender, completely rendered out the fat into the sauce, seasoned perfectly with just a hint of spice. Its very obvious the chef takes extra time to stew it to perfection. The mash was perfect, not heavy, fluffy and soaked up the sauce perfectly. The only issue I had was that there wasnt more of it. Bravo.
I usually go here for the Brownstew Snapper Fish or the ackee and Saltfish with fried dumpling. The Brownstew is 23 dollars and on most days tastes very good. On some days you can tell the chef has a lazy day (I.e no flavor) The ackee and Saltfish taste really good too, but the portions are VERY VERY small (one spoon full). Overall, the food here is really good but, their pricing iS a bit much.
Wishing for some Jamaican fare after my morning workout, I tucked into an order of ackee, saltfish and dumplings for the first time at Taudos in Rexdale. Delicious, prepared hot and fast!
They haven t had a lot the menu items they say they do.
