Classic dishes (including rolls, noodles & teriyaki) & bento box lunch deals in a laid-back spot.
Really great customer service and large portions enough to satisfy anyone. I had the cupbap which was a large bowl of rice with beef bulgogi, dumplings, chicken, and noodles (a little bit of everything) and it was delicious. Everything was well done and I will definitely be back for more. Also, as a person that is very sensitive to sounds and scents it was perfect. It smelled clean and the music was not too loud either.
One of our favourite restaurants in Etobicoke! The food is always amazing, the Volcano roll is my fave. Their lunch bento box options is so delicious, comes in big portions and well-priced. We also keep coming back here because the service is exceptional!! Shout out to Mike and Ella, they’re always welcoming and makes sure we are take care of. One of the best restaurants in the city!!
First time here and loved it! The food was great and the service was excellent! Their Korean tapas were delicious!
I get the lunch combo number 1 almost every time I go (in photo), extremely fresh sushi, very friendly staff. Love this place.
We tried this restaurant with Summerlicious and we loved it. Dishes were delicious, if you like eastern cuisine you should give a try🤤 Very kind and friendly staff…
Stumbled across this sushi place while in the area for a late lunch. Wasn’t super busy for a Sunday afternoon. Great service and food, all at a very reasonable price. We ordered the sushi combo and bento box and the service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice too. Would return!
Was in Toronto for an expo, and had some free time. My friend recommended this place for lunch and was served by Mike and Eva the food and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back next time we are in Toronto.
The sushi here is stellar. A lot of sushi is hard to eat without appetizers because of the fishy taste, but the fish used here is so fresh! Managed to have a satisfying meal without having the gross feeling of needing something to “clean” out my system. The rice used is also great. It doesn’t break whenever you try to pick it up, plus it was good enough for me to probably eat by the handful from how yummy it was. Lastly, the visuals are fantastic. The flowers, layout, just so pretty!! Got this giant platter for a birthday party and the visuals did NOT disappoint. :) I don’t think I did it any justice with these photos alone. Overall, I recommend. Amazing quality all throughout.
We ve been coming here for over 10 years! Great consistency and reasonable price. My kids favorite spot for a birthday celebration.
Definitely amazing! As Korean, highly recommend this place if you prefer autenthic taste of sushi, sashimi and others.
Parking: Street parking Green P Food
Best sushi in Toronto. Authentic and always fresh.
Great place!
Always come here for the past decade, service and food has remained unmatched for sushi and now Korean cuisine! Staff are all so polite and friendly!
Sushi boat was great and the warm sake hit the spot on a cool day. Thanks for the great service Mike!
Best sushi in the city with wonderful lunch specials
Amazing sushi! The best in the city! Parking: Great place to have a quick lunch! Kid-friendliness: Very low key- great for kids.
The best sushi in GTA service with a smile and amazing sushi. Highly recommend service is phenomenal. Sushi is amazing.
I went here to have lunch and chose combo 2 (3 salmon rolls, salmon sashimi pieces and salmon sushi). Salmon was fresh, tasteful and delicious.
Momiji never disappoints the boys!
Prepare yourself. Momiji Japanese Restaurant isn t just a restaurant it s a divine, once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage to the zenith of culinary ecstasy. The moment I walked in, I knew I was entering the sacred halls of sushi greatness. The ambiance? Ethereal. It s as if the architects had whispered ancient secrets into every corner, where minimalist décor meets an underwater palace dreamed up by Poseidon himself. The Food: Sushi of the Gods I ordered the Momiji Dragon roll and Bluefin Tuna, placing my fate into the hands of the chef no, the artist who must surely have been trained by the sushi deities in the secret mountains of Japan. Each piece was a masterpiece, a transcendental experience for my taste buds. The fish? Fresher than a morning breeze on the shores of Hokkaido. The rice? Each grain had the texture of a soft cloud handwoven by angels. Service: Impeccable The servers? It was as if they had telepathy. I didn t need to ask for anything they knew. Would I return? Only every day of my life if I could.
My friend and I met here for lunch. Everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was also very clean and staff friendly. Now go give it a try!!!
Delicious Japanese and Korean food. Sushi was very fresh and presented beautifully. Korean tapas hit the spot. Very friendly staff and prompt service. Will definitely be back! Wheelchair accessibility: One level with large entry way and automatic doors
A friends suggestion for lunch. Lots to choose from on the Lunch Specials menu. Really enjoyed Beef Teriyaki bento box with 6 pieces California roll. It came with miso soup, rice, 4 pieces shrimp tempura, veggie salad. Tea. $15 Generous portion. Good flavours. Good service. Clean. Bright room, not crowded at all on a Thursday.
This used to be our go-to sushi place for takeout and delivery. The quality, portions and care taken in preparing the sushi has completely fallen off. Very disappointing.
One of our Japanese favorites in the Kingsway. We drop by every 60-90 days.
The magic at this restaurant is unsurpassable the manager Michael is a gem if you re in the mood for Japanese food and you re on the Bloor viaduct come to this restaurant you will not be disappointed
The Salmon and Tuna sashimi was not fresh. I had to throw it out.
Best sushi in the area! Their sushi is always tasty and great quality. I love stopping in for their lunch specials as well. They have bento boxes with teriyaki beef, salmon or chicken that comes with tempura and sushi and it s always so tasty. The service is also great!
Best sushi in the Kingsway in my opinion. I have been going here for a decade and the quality never misses! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable rolls for vegan or vegetarians. I believe they have some noodle options
The best sushi place in town
One of the best sushi restaurants in Toronto! The quality of food was great, tasty, and fresh.
The food here is great!!! It s my go-to place for my lunch!!! Everyone here is quite nice and the food is very filling! Just the appetizer is sufficient for me too!! Much recommended!! Come here!!
By far, one of the best sushi spots..quality and freshness is impeccable Here. Freshest, softest, melt in your mouth rolls. Fish is so fresh and buttery..yes, its pricier than most sushi joints, but you get what you pay for. So many amazing and unique choices, and presentation is always beautiful.. Plus the interior is fairly nice, and dim and prettier than a lot of the Sushi restos. Its a great place to take a date to. I love this restaurant P.S. they have the best Hamachi rolls, so fresh ! And the best Uni . ( When they have it )
I am a celiac and went here for dinner and they were so incredibly accommodating. The food was great and the staff were so friendly. If you are celiac you know how hard it is to find good sushi!! I am so happy to have found this place, I will be returning regularly :) Dietary restrictions: Celiac
I love sushi and sashimi and find really good fresh offerings are not as easy to come by. Not sure why it took me this long to write a review. The food here is among the best in the city and at very reasonable prices. Easy to get to at Royal York and Bloor with free parking. I have eaten here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed.
Uni is so fresh!! Definitely gonna come back soon:)
A tried and true Etobicoke classic. Unwavering quality for the nearly decade and a half I ve been going here intermittently. If you haven t had the Momiji lunch special, you haven t lived in Etobicoke
Often get take-out Sushi platters which is always excellent and fresh! Great mix of Sashimi, sushi and maki - all well prepared and prepared on nice take-away tray. Great service too!
Service is a bit slow even though the restaurant wasnt even half full. The food is pretty good considering the value. There is a parking lot for the restaurant, so need to find street parking off Bloor.
good food!
Our experience at Momiji was amazing. We went for summerlicious and the food, price and service was great. Mike the manager and Jin were very helpful and nice. We will definitely go back.
Great food, especially the udon and sushi, and great, friendly service. Laid back vibes, perfect for a date or hanging out with friends.
Portions are huge, and everything was fresh and delicious. Helpful and friendly staff were fast and hospitable. My god the Udon. I m so full but I still want more. Recommend as a mandatory stop for lunch or dinner if you re in the area.
Sushi is always high quality and the service is good too. Great local gem.
Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options here. Food
Combo2 is a great deal
Dragon Roll Bonanza Fantastic food and service. Always fresh and tasty. Consistent quality and well priced for the quality / quantity. We have been ordering Sushi since pre-COVID. Totally worth the commute from Oakville and best Sushi we ve had in the GTA. Highly recommend to try the fantastic food and wonderful service Thank you and see you again soon !!
As my wife celebrates her birthday lunch, we had the pleasure of dining at Momiji Japanese Grill, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If youre a fan of Japanese cuisine, this place should be at the top of your list. The sashimi was of outstanding quality each piece was fresh, perfectly sliced, and consistently excellent. The tempura was delightfully crisp without being greasy, showcasing the chefs skill in achieving the perfect texture. As for the udon, it was a comforting bowl of deliciousness, with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The warm and friendly customer service made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, adding a personal touch to the meal. In summary, dining at Momiji Japanese Grill was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend. You wont regret it!
Great food and fantastic service!!
Great quality! Value is on par. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere!
I recently had lunch at Momiji, my go-to sushi spot, and was impressed by the exceptional service provided by a male server. Despite the busy lunch rush, he never lost his smile and was incredibly friendly to every customer he encountered. As someone who has worked in the service industry for over a decade, I was genuinely impressed. I believe the owner should recognize his outstanding service. Lastly, their bento boxes are great in terms of portions and prices. Highly recommended!
Great serrlvice and awesome food! From my Koren background, I am a little picky side when it comes to Sushi. The Sashimi was fresh and came in good bite size, and the ginger dressing was out of this world. Fantastic!
It s over price, we asked for maki diner B, no flavour at all .. the maki didn t come with any fish and the rolls small .. If you want some real Japanese food with FISH go somewhere else. Food
Momiji is one of those restaurants that you can come back over and over again to enjoy delicious Japanese food/sushi with friends, family and even by yourself. It has a great atmosphere and the quality of the food is excellent. They offer great service and the manager is very thoughtful and friendly! P.S: the vebto boxes are a great deal during lunch time!
i come here for their sashimi. thicknest pieces
Very nice atmosphere and menu,
My favourite sushi restaurant in Etobicoke. Everything is excellent.
Amazing sushi, staff and atmosphere!
Nice Japanese restaurant. I had the Bento 1 lunch, had good portions. Also had the Salmon Sashimi and it was excellent.
First time here everything was great. Food tasted amazing and service was spot on. If next time Im in town I would come here again for sure.
We ve been coming here for over 5 years and they are consistently the highest quality and freshest food. You won t be disappointed!!
The sushi is super fresh and the dishes, very flavourful. Everything is prepared on location. The staff are very courteous and friendly and once you go back they remember you and address you by your name. I have been going there for a number of years and it s my favourite sushi place in town. Highly recommend.
This has been my go-to sushi place for the past decade. Love it and highly recommend! The volcano roll is my favourite and their sushi pizza is the best in the city! Very unique.
Just had a yummy lunch at Momiji. Sushi and sashimi were so fresh.. Food
I absolutely love this place! You can get some really different sushi which is love but you can also get the regular favs! They are always filling up my tea which is amazing! The manager Mike is so nice! They also have parking which is also convenient and a quick walk from Royal York subway! I would reconsider giving them a try! The portion sizes are great i tried the beef udon and it was amazing! I also tried the skillet cheese sushi which i loved! The prices may be a bit on the higher side but its def worth it! Try this place!
What an absolute dump. Walked in. NO ONE was in the kitchen. NO ONE was at the door. NO ONE was around. It was so weird. We walk out. Decided to go somewhere else. I look through window and see humans appearing so we walk back in. No one acknowledges us. So I walk to the back send see someone sitting down. She stared at us like we four heads. I asked if I could get a table. She just gives me a blank stare. Good chat. No wonder no one is in here.
It s good!!! The sashimi was particularly fresh and delicious. The service was also fast and friendly. Highly recommend!
Amazing food, great service and atmosphere! Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. Best sushi ever.
The best of the best!
A great Japanese restaurant to have a date night. We were very pleased with the service and the food. Prices are within the expectations.
Great restaurant with a good selection of sushi sashimi. We also had udon at our table of 8ppl! I would recommend to friends and family for sure! We ve come here for lunch too and the food and service have been wonderful!
This place never ceases to surprise with consistently high quality sushi and fantastic customer service!
Momjii is a great place to go for sushi if you are in the Etobicoke area. I always come here with my friends if I want to stay close to home. As a sushi connoisseur, the quality of sushi is pretty fresh for the area and the prices are quite affordable. The service is also very friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is cozy at the top where theres a section of booths. Overall, I would say it is a good sushi spot in Etobicoke if you want to grab a quick bite
The menu seems a bit too pricey, but its worth the dollar. The product quality, portion and taste was great. The place is also nice, the staff consistently checks if you need anything. Altogether a great experience.
Today I went to Momiji with three of my friends and we had a great time! The gentleman who helped u was very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious and very fresh! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Wow my dinner was so overpriced for mediocre sushi. i spent 170$ plus tip on one sushi roll, sushi romance and a chicken katsu and bottle of sake. The sushi was MEDIOCRE at best. Really disappointed on how they can overcharge knowing they can because they are located in royal york. Wont be visiting back again.
Great food good drinks. Didnt have uni available but no biggie the party enjoyed the night
Had a business lunch here and the food was fantastic! Service and atmosphere was good.
Some of the tastiest sashimi Ive had ina while. Simply delicious.
I review a lot of Japanese restaurants both here in Canada and also the UK, as well as having eaten at restaurants in Kyoto and Tokyo. My second visit here wasn t the best. The appetizers are overpriced and portions are meagre. We ordered the chicken - don t order this. Tiny portion size. The sushi is well made (maki and other rolls) but tuna isn t necessarily the best quality. The salmon was good and actually quite a decent amount in each roll, which was surprising. The miso soup is sub-par and is missing taste and any extra additions such as tofu. Minimal amount of seaweed and the dashi isn t that flavourful, neither is the miso which is poor quality. We went in on a Monday evening and the service was terrible. Note to restaurant: please allow customers to choose a custom tip amount. Forcing customers to start at an 18% tip and forcing them to ask the server to lower the amount is demeaning and not equitable to the customer and also the server. Please train your staff properly, improve your Japanese food, serving sizes, and also take away the demeaning tip options. Will not be going back!
The food really good, service not the best
Momiji always offers amazing food and service!
I stood outside the establishment for a few moments thats it.
2nd time around. Love it. Great food, service is top shelf.
I m actually very impressed with this location. My go to is always the one in Clarkson simply for the quality. However the quality in presentation has dwindled and I stopped going there. The sashimi just got way thinner and presentation was sparse. My go to is the volcano roll which is always tasty and the fish is fresh but wow this location actually did no skimp out for once! I order the same item last year and it was NOT the same side of sashimi bits at all. Today my order actually had visible pieces in the mix which was awesome. Only downside to delivery is that the tempura bits get soggy but the flavour is there. 4 starts only cuz it wasn t 100% perfect but I m sure if I dined in it would be 5 stars.
Wonderful fresh seafood, friendly knowledgeable staff made for a great birthday dinner experience. Thanks to manager Mike for his suggestions. This was our first visit, but definitely wont be our last.
My favorite Sushi place, fast friendly service great staff. Food is always excellent
Great food
Food is fantastic. A little over priced IMO.
Amazing service by our waitress Namyi. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was incredible. Great atmosphere. Can t wait to go back. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Many options to choose from. Very fresh Parking: Free parking
Speaking from my 12 years experience coming there. Management has been changed. New management took over by keeping everything as is. They didn t improve anything. Inside looks very lame. Food itself it s just OK to me. I m eating there because it s convenient for me not because it s my first choice..
Went for a Saturday night dinner. It was an excellent time.
I had a great time here. Great sushi and staff. Excellent customer service.
As always, yummy food and friendly staff. Our salad was bad though, as it had greens that were beginning to turn black. They offered a different app as all their lettuce was like that for that day. Got the dragon balls and lunch special.
Great service and incredible sushi. This is my go to Sushi restaurant.
My go-to place for Sushi. Lunch Bento boxes are affordable and delicious!
Really great food, presentation and friendly staff! The spicy salmon hand roll was the best I ever had
The sushi here is amazing. When you come here for lunch the prices are also super reasonable for what you get. High quality sushi at a good price
One of the best sushi restaurants in Toronto! The quality of food was great, tasty, and fresh. I also loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I would definitely come back with my hubby who is big on sushi. Amazing staff and great service!
Easy to see why Momiji was busy, even on a Monday evening! Each of our orders was delicious, beautifully presented, and plentiful. On our table: Agedashi tofu, dragon balls, chirashi mix (stacked like a cake! wow), maki dinner set(A), and a Sky Tombo roll. We occasionally order their medium mixed tray for takeout. You can expect to get Sashimi, o-nigiri sushi, and a shrimp tempura roll. Also delicious, beautifully presented, and plentiful!
Excellent service. Great food. A gem in Etobicoke!!
This was my go-to spot for sushi since I moved to the area. However, our last visit was a terrible experience. We were seated at an unlit table under the TV showing CP24. We had no menu for the longest time. The staff kept ignoring us. Considering our table was next to the cashier, this is unacceptable. I kept reminding about the lack of lighting at our table. The restaurant was empty at the time too. Only 2 other tables were occupied. The QR Menu now goes to an Italian restaurant after redirecting to a knockoff Momiji website looking like a Spam link. Ive been here many times, so I know what the QR menu looks like. The manager said he knew about the situation but yet the QR menu is still on the table. And a normal menu was not placed on the table when we were seated. We ended up leaving and went to Kinton Ramen where the service was good as usual. Not as good as the usual Momiji service, but I think on this occasion McDonalds would have been better service. When we left, the shift manager followed us to the parking lot to our car begging us to come back. It was rather uncomfortable at this point. Especially for my 6 & 8 year old kids. They didnt understand why we had to leave without eating and why the gentleman followed us to the car. I think its under new ownership or management as this was a 180 from our usual service. The last time I went was just a few weeks before this visit and the service was great as usual. Now we have to find a new sushi place in the area.
Amazing!!!
Wonderful experience always here! Love the freshness of sushi and quite atmosphere. Very good prices for food and good wine.
I always get shrimp tempura, Dynamite, Momiji rolls and Sashimi Romance and its always crispy (for shirmp tempura), taste good, and fresh. Staff are always friendly and Mike, the manager of restaurant offers great customer service. Recommending this place!
Maki Rolls are really good. Good portions and quality of rolls. The Apps Dragon ball and Dragon Tongue are a must try. Price is a little high per roll, but still woth it.
Food was so amazing and service was friendly and professional...Will definitely come back!! Thanks so much... Parking:
Unlike many sushi places in the vicinity that mainly cater to taking out, this venue has a nice dining room, great quality food, and service!
friendly staff. good food.
We ve been going here for a decade, and we ordered take out tonight. Chicken teriyaki was terrible-chewy and could not eat more than a bite. Seaweed salad smelled terrible. Super disappointed and after all these years we likely won t return. Feels like they are just cutting corners, as quality has clearly gone down
The girl at the reception is very rude; I was there at 5:30 Sunday
Great sushi, we became regulars during the pandemic - it was our Saturday family treat. We have continued this tradition, the sushi is fantastic, the team at Momii are friendly and very helpful
I wholeheartedly recommend Momiji Japanese restaurant for any special occasion or even a casual night out. The exceptional customer service, combined with the mouthwatering dishes and unexpected surprises, created an experience that we will cherish for years to come. Whether you re a sushi enthusiast or new to this cuisine, this restaurant will undoubtedly impress you with its culinary expertise and warm hospitality. Treat yourself and your loved ones to an unforgettable dining experience at this remarkable establishment!
Good service, nice staff very fast but food was not top notch
The food is always fresh and the people are nice!!
Amazing food and service! The sushi was fresh and delicious. First time there and will be going back.
Came here Saturday evening around 7 pm and I was wondering why they barely had any customers. The food is branded as Japanese but I wouldnt call it that. Their miso soup was actually decent but I ordered a chicken donburi and received a Chinese stir fry. My sister ordered the chirashi and she got sashimi spread out on top of rice on a platter instead of a bowl. Weird. Would probably never eat here again.
It was a very nice place, but the staff was a little slow and there was no roe on the California roll
Very tasty food, fresh, nice staff and not so crowded..we will definitely return
Overall great experience would recommend to anyone looking for affordable and good Japanese cuisine. I would recommend going for lunch as the special pricing is quite good for the amount of food you get.
Very expensive for what it is
Good for Canadian standards of sushi. Generous portions. Good value lunch bento. Tempura was excellent. Fish, whilst generous, was tasteless, watery and felt recently defrosted. Friendly and fast service.
Beautiful service and amazing food! We got a free upgrade of tuna the other day and I came back within the week! Super.
Awesome fresh sushi, friendly environment, reasonable lunch menu prices. I definitely recommend this place.
Food is great, service is good, it is a little expensive however Dietary restrictions: they are attentive to dietary restrictions, I once went with a friend that has a seafood allergy, and they took all the necessary cautions to ensure her comfort
I went for lunch yesterday. Fantastic delicious food. Excellent service. Beautiful presentation. And, I have gluten and shellfish allergies and this was no problem for them to accommodate this. Thank you!
Went with my best friend for dinner and enjoyed the food, drinks and serves
It was okay. We got the chef selection and it was supposed to have 21 pieces of sushi. Which it did. But normally theres a variety of sushi when you get a chef selection over 70% of this was just salmon sushi. If I wanted just salmon I would have ordered just salmon. Was looking for more variety and opportunity for creativity for the chef and they just fell short overall expensive for what it was. Parking: Was overfilled and had to circle the block multiple times.
Consistently great food and service is always on point. Have been going for many years and always recommend. Just good sushi.
We get momiji on almost all special occasions, we are delighted by the speed and quality of food and service, in addition you get a decent discount for paying in cash which is always a plus when buying food for 7 people. Back when indoor dining was still commonplace before covid we enjoyed the our times inside as well, the servers are well trained and polite, the food arrives at lightning fast speed without any impact on quality. I recommend this sushi to all my friends and family
I love this place .hi quality food and for know take out only. Not cheap but great.
Sushi is always fresh and tasty. Had the beef udon for the first time and it was delicious! Service is also great. Only reason for 4 stars is because the take out is hit and miss.
Not cheap but great sushi. Their sushi pizza is HUGE and I mean HUGE, probably my favourite, its just so flavourful and uniquely composed. A nice spot in the neighborhood.
The Bento boxes are amazing! I highly recommend them :)
Decent sushi. The sashimi is not the greatest, but good. Rice and Edemame were cooked perfectly. Service was 4/5.
Great variety and unique sushi
Speechless! Just amazing
Exceptional sushi....highly recommend. Fish was top shelf quality and rice was perfectly cooked at the right temperature. Will come here again.
Ive been to Momiji a number of times and it is always fresh, always very consistent. Great place with fair pricing.
Good place for sushi. Bad place for parking.
Excellent food and service. Tempura, shrimp mango balls and beef terriyaki is my favourite.
Very high quality qnd everything was delicious. Portions are big, loke 10 pcs per roll.
Ok, some interesting items.
Momiji is one of best sushi in west Toronto that has great sashimi and sushi. We made a reservation and had to late a bit and the restaurant was more than accommodating. We started off with a bottle of sake and everything was extremely fresh ! Two thumbs up !
The presentation was beautiful. I ordered the caterpillar, salgo forest, salmon sushi pizza and mango ball. Overall everything was very tasty and fresh but my favourite must eat is the sushi pizza. Ive had many sushi pizzas from different restaurants and this restaurant has the best take on it!
My favorite sushi bar in Canada. Bar none.
Pretty good place. Delicious sushi, good presentation. The sushi boat looks very impressive. There are no complaints about the service. What I really didnt like was the way the menu looked. Torn, crumpled pieces of paper... its a shame to give into the hands of clients. After holding such a menu in your hands, you want to immediately wash your hands.
Food Is amazing but restaurant is in need of complete cleaning from ceiling to floors. A/C and heating overhead pipes are full of dust ( don t put A/C on before cleaning). , both entrance glass doors have to he cleaned daily as well as floors, wooden beams have to be cleaned as well, etc. Too bad that manager is not paying attention to other details beside food.
Loved it
One of the best sushi restaurants in Etobes for sho.
We dropped in for dinner Saturday at 5:00 pm. We sat for 20 mins before we waved the server down. Very strange server as we had made reservations. We ordered striploin stir fry. The meal was cold and carved steak in the shape of a N one bite took 2 mins to chew. The overcooked steak was terrible. I sent it back. The server reprimanded me for not telling her how I wanted it cooked. I told her thats her job to ask. I then ordered a chicken stir fry. Very average with overcooked chicken. When the bill came they tried to charge me for the steak I sent back. Stay away from this rude rip off place. The server clapped when I left even though I tipped her $10 on a $44,00 meal. Never again. This place is overpriced and not worth the money.
Decided to dine in here, food was great and sushi was fresh. Service was alright, didn t stand out at all.
Stellar * * * * *
Food is not bad, but not impressive.. Kind of pricy for what it offers.
Great service and amazing sushi.
Sushi was fresh, wide selection and great deals at lunch time!
Best sushi in Toronto. The Blue Mountain is literally the greatest and the portions here are more than enough to feed 2 people.
Its clean, the service is excellent and food is really good! The prices are higher if you compare it with all you can eat sushis. But, go and meet it and enjoy it
Quality of food poor, cold not fresh, presentation on a plate was unappealing. Think there are new owners - menus on a clip board -staff not friendly at all . Overall experience poor quality.
This place is super consistent and always amazing. Recommend Spicy Sushi Pizza, and Cheese in The Crab.
The rolls were tasty.
yummy
Great service. Walked in without a reservation. Good food. Fast service. Definitely will return
One of my all time favorite in Etobicoke, great sushi always fresh!
Been coming here for a very long time, and quality has always been top notch!
I had an excellent experience here. The staff was kind and friendly. Such amazing service! The sushi was fresh and delicious. I liked that the California Rolls and Dynamite Rolls didnt have too much rice on the outside of them. The beer was delicious on tap. I will definitely be back!
One of the best Around. And had been around a long time. Very fresh and wide selection including boats. Fast service at lunch. Paid street parking. A few spots in the lot on the west side.
Stupid prices for whats ultimately just a fresh, upscale presentation of American-style sushi. But they do a very solid job. The fish is very fresh including lower-volume options like hamachi, which often suffer. The rice is fresh, though half-heartedly seasoned. The rice ratio is good, but end cuts are inconsistent, see attached photo. The regular tuna roll is flawless: the roll is filled to the end, with the protruding tuna trimmed for use in spicy rolls. But the rolls with chopped filling (hamachi, spicy tuna, spicy scallop) are stingy like youd expect at restaurants at half the price point. Spicy scallop and tuna rolls are made in an unusual style. Usually good places make spicy rolls with chunks of fish and fresh, crispy Tempura bits and cheap places use a pre-mix of soggy spicy tempura filler with negligible fish. Momiji uses a pretty fair quantity of protein but still uses a soggy pre-mix. An unfortunate choice, but not one that seems particularly malicious.
Great food, parking is a little tough at lunch time though
Nice Japanese restaurant. Good selection of lunch set. They have noodles but mostly sushi. Good place
Delicious!
Lovely atmosphere, great quality sushi. Warm and friendly staff.
