All-you-can-eat Japanese & Thai cuisine, plus à la carte menu options, in a spacious modern setting.
It was hard finding the restaurant. We're a big group so we were a handful to keep track. The staff did a good job. We chose this place because it just makes it easier to appeal to everyone's varied dietary needs and palette. The food was good. Passable. The sushi choices was really good. Especially the torched sushi.
Overpriced, glorified Mr Noodles, what a shame. 5 small chicken bits, missing ingredients. The best part of this meal was the napkin, very thick and high quality napkins. Save your money folks. Web photo vs actual.
This is the3rd time I came for the buffet. Ifound the Thai food is better than before, especially the stir fry and curry. They are my favorite. The chicken wings are always yummy. The sashimi is fresh but not that much option. The only one I don't feel goodis The Teriyaki.
A great variety of flavours for the quality of food you can get at this AYCE is hard to find for the price in Toronto. Service is also fairly quick after ordering. Portions offered per order are well thought out, allowing guests to eat well and not worry about wasting food. Overall a great experience - would definitely recommend and visit again!
Have been here several times and always a great place for really well made food. There was a misunderstanding abiout the reservation which was resolved immediately. The atmosphere is nice. Service was excellent and timely. I watched the prep area and the chefs didn't seemed frazzled (even though it was full for dinner) and they were completely in sync. Everything we ordered was delicious. A must visit.
Fancy with a touch of relaxation! Spoon & Fork definitely hits the spot, great tasting food with great service by the wonderful employees. Off the menu or all you can eat with an iPad on your table, fill your belly, and do not leave until you have the dessert, then you'll leave fully satisfied.
Christmas is coming this year, and a few of us good friends gathered in this restaurant for lunch again. The ingredients are fresh, the environment is comfortable, and the service is very good. Especially Miss. Sandy, her service is very warm and thoughtful, we are especially grateful to her!
Food was ok. Came here for dinner before a movie, service was good. Food was mediocre. It's Hit and Miss. I probably won't return for all you can eat. Maybe a la carte is okay.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never been to any restaurant who offer a BAD service!! Please value your customer
The quality of the salmon sashimi is AMAZING, EVERY SINGLE TIME. They are big slices, not small. And they make sure to give the fatty salmon belly, not the meaty and chewy parts.
decent shpot
Extremely quick service. Great choice in food. Going back soon.
One of my favourite Japanese restaurants to go too. Customer service is amazing and affordable. Wish there was more menu items for all you can eat but besides that my experience is always amazing!
Great quality food and service substantially improved since last year.
When I came here with my friend, we noticed some of the food was good, but some awful. Some of the food we liked was the maki sushi, which you can t really mess up. But some of the fish on the maki was a bit stale. The tuna and salmon sashimi ordered by itself, was good. The egg roles and coconut shrimp were decent, but I noticed the coconut shrimp had gotten worse over the years. I came here 3 years ago, and the shrimp was bigger, and there was a lighter coat of bread and coconut on them. Now they taste a lot like the cheaper ones you buy from the grocery store. The rice and noodles were ok, and the chicken and beef in many of the dishes were decent, but nothing special. The crispy beef was awful!! You re basicly getting no beef, just dry hard bits of bread with sauce. The beef tartare was kind of gross. The pictures online show a thicker cut of meat. You re only getting very thinly sliced raw cuts of cold beef. Wasn t that great. But hey some people seem to like it online. I guess it s an acquired taste. The beef satay is gross. It was really fatty pieces of beef, that I couldn t chew. I remember when I had ordered this in the past, it was edible. Not sure what happened. The service is fine, nothing special. They bring you what you order. I did notice that when you ask for a certain amount, they don t always bring you that amount. I guess it s their way of trying to get you to eat less for the 40 dollar price tag of ayce. If you order too much food, you can see the disdain in their faces. It s kind of comical. I always bring my appetite to ayce sushi places, so I get my moneys worth. The drinks are good. The dessert is good, but really small. This place is still better than the mandarin that s right next to them. I ve been told there are a lot of better places for ayce sushi than this one, but I don t mind this place as it offer a lot of Thai food along with the sushi. Overall, a decent place to eat, but don t expect anything spectacular.
I came here with my friend about 3 weeks ago, and I got FOOD POISONING from eating here!!! We thought this place seemed fine, as we enjoyed some of the food. The service wasn t that great because our waitress just seemed like she didn t want to be there and wasn t very nice. We had another person, an east Indian gentlemen, come and throw down one of our dishes on the table. He looked really unhappy. Not the greatest experience here. I was really sick for hours. I had vomited many times, and was stuck in the bathroom with diarrhea. Yes I know that was too much info, but I felt like I was dieing. I wish I had gone to the hospital and gotten a report about the poisoning, so I could contact the manager and complain to them, and file a report with city. Please just be careful eating here!!!
Food was very good and our server Sandy was excellent. Always had a big smile and made sure to always check in on us!
This Swiss Chalet has really poor table service. Ate in last week for dinner, was served in appropriate manner and that was it. No one came there after to bring any lemon hot water, or for that matter the bill.
Terrible service. Slow. Food is mid. Avoid. Just go to the Mandarin right next to it. If you re not going to have tablets, be a little quicker checking up on tables.
amazing. I dont know why other reviews are saying things to justify 1 star rating. Everything went well and smoothly. service was great especially since we had 12 person group
Lygeia has always been so friendly and attentive everytime I come here. Very glad to see her recently start serving!
Worst place, location and food ever !! This restaurant over time, quality of the food has completely gone down !! No taste at all or very plain, and not freshly made !! As far service, servers have no interest serving you and working like a fast robots .. its no longer the same as it used to be prior to Covid .. we wasted 50$ per Person.. this would be our last time visit. Zero star.
Great food and great prices!! The atmosphere is also fantastic!
BEEF TaTaki is . All you can eat is worth it !!
I decided to stop by for an AYCE at dinner time. The food was terrible. The sushi had a terrible almost metal after taste. Other dishes were small, chewy, and/or not heated properly. Also the resteraunt only offers a paper menu. No tablets. Its frustrating to order. The server was upset that I didnt tip. I simply told them the truth about the food. Wont be coming back to this place. The Spoon and Fork Restaurant at Heartland town Centre is far better!
Food was excellent. Friendly staff, prompt and efficient.
Food is fresh and so tasty
Will come back again!
Wery nice but the serwants ware super slow
Spoon & Fork Restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a friendly staff that goes out of their way to make sure you have a great dining experience. Whether youre there for a casual meal or a special occasion, you ll feel completely taken care of. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, and every dish I tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The flavors are well-balanced, and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, but everything on the menu is worth a try. What really stood out was the service prompt, polite, and always with a smile. Spoon & Fork feels like more than just a restaurant; it s a place where you can relax, enjoy amazing food, and feel like part of the community. I can t recommend it enough!
Poor experience overall. Food is average, bad service. I will never return.
Food was amazing and fast served . But I did feel like I was rushed to eat Food
Yummy all you can eat buffet, slightly more expensive on Thanksgiving but delicious! Will always come back!
I have been here many times since they first opened many years ago. The staff service is great. The food is great and stays consistent every time I dine here. On regular days, lunch menu is less options than dinner. Expect some unavailable dishes for lunch like the beef ribs. They have several new items on their menu like yummy rolls and black dragon rolls which are amazing. They also now have creme brulee like other places which was ok. The flavour has improved for most of their dishes. I can tell they put attention to the dishes served especially the sushi options. The place gets busy for dinner so making reservations is a must. There was a bit of wait in between orders and some we had to ask again but it must have been because it was super busy. The main server we had was great and made sure to correct the issue with the kitchen crew. Overall I enjoyed my experience.
We came in for lunch all you can eat. Love the atmosphere and amazing service. We tried Japanese sushi and sashimi. Thai rice. The food was great and we will return soon.
So went there for a big meal, there was 17 of us. Spent over a $1000. Food is good, we tried all kinds of sushi, satay, grilled chicken. My most favourite was the crab rice, chicken curry, mango salad and shrimp dumplings. One thing to watch out for is the drinks. They don t offer refills nor is it mentioned anywhere. And the drinks are expensive so we were caught a little unaware about that which in turn jacked up our bill. So Pro tip stick to the food, drink water and soup (hot and sour was better than thai lemongrass) service is top notch our server was niki. Kudos to her. Vegetarian options: There is many things vegetarian available including soup, fried rice, only thing is the veg dumplings are only fried no other kind available. Parking: Lots of parking all around and its free, there is many restaurants in and around there Kid-friendliness: There is a big bar as you enter, but fairly empty, people order and drink on their table itself. So pretty kid friendly place in general Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs right in front to enter, but they do have wheel chair accessible entrance and seating too
My fave place. Food is absolutely great.
Food was amazing. Service was really fast. They have a big selection of noodle dishes and meats
Do not eat there.
It was my first time here for the All you can eat and everything i tried was a hit. Food and service was amazing. I recommend.
Always a treat going here. Service is great. Be prepared to spend $160-190 all in (including a couple of drinks each) for three people.
Quite good actually. We love everything there
Great spot. Just all their noodle dishes under the all you can eat were very overcooked and gooey... Great atmosphere and dining room. Service was incredible and very responsive.
The staff is extremely rude. Zero people skills. The food is ok but expensive for what you get. I dont recommend this restaurant.
It was a nice experience. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed , booths are comfortable. The staff was very attentive, especially the server. The food was good, came fast and the portions were suitable for all you can eat experience. I also enjoyed the sake very much. Id totally come back!
Enjoyed food and service. Windows wete dirty and lots of cobwebs though
Connie was awesome!!! Food was also amazing! The all you can eat, gives you perfect portions so you can taste a whole variety of things!! Ask for Connie!!!
This is my favourite place to meet up with my friends. We all like the sushi, fresh sashimi and Thai cuisine. The kalbi is also a must have.
Terrible service. We have a 7 month old in a stroller and they could not think on their feet where to seat us. I showed them a perfectly good place in a booth that does not block their runners and no one answered. We needed up leaving. Imagine letting a client leave upset. They said to put him in a high chair. Really? I guess they have never had a child before to put a 7 month old in a high chair. Never going back. A side note a different crew on a different day easily accommodated us. However it is a long drive for us to make hoping we get the correct crew working on that day. Just terrible!!!
Great place except... more expensive than I thought... but no complaints - altogether a pretty good experience in all aspects.
Fast service. Food is pretty good for the all you can eat.
Waitress put herself the maximum tip instead of allowing me to choose and pretended to not understand English. Not going back
Tastes great, food is served fast.
Absolute disaster ala carte. We ordered pad thai with tiger shrimp. And believe me when I say, the pad thai was pure sweet, like ketchup flavor. The shrimp was small shrimp and not tiger shrimp. We also ordered chang mai noodles with tiger shrimp and chicken. Again just swarmed in oil, and same small shrimp. And I have been coming to this restaurant several times in the past and always ordered buffet menu with sushi sashimi appetizer. But thai menu in ala carte is absolute trash. As a regular customer, Im disappointed.
Good location and service. Quality of food is hit and miss. The salmon and chicken teriyaki are dry and way too salty. They charge you tip automatic which i find distasteful. Not coming back but still a good place if you re hungry.
Always our go-to when we want to treat ourselves to amazing AYCE.
Very good variety of food! The chicken in peanut sauce is a must have.
I went to lunch today at July 5th at 3:00 pm and found a metal object in my chicken wings.... Wouldnt recommend this spot to anybody .... Please stay away if you care about a clean meal.
Good food & drinks and good service, will be coming back!
Ive been here a few times for special occasions such as birthdays. Overall, the food is great! Felt abit rushed close to closing on tuesday night. However, I will still come back here!
I suggest going in a small group
The food was decent. For $50 after tax and tip you can t really complain about it. Some of the flavours didn t really taste as fresh or were overly salty but it s to be expected from an all you can eat. Definitely better options but if you re in the area it s not too bad. Service if I could give it a 0 I would. Asked my server various times for 3 items on the dessert menu and 10 minutes would go by and nothing would be out and when asked again still nothing would be out. Asked for the bill and I had the same issue. 10 minutes would go by and I see the server at other tables giving the bill. This issue was also with our main dishes and appetizers. It could have been busy but personally many other restaurants have better service. K&B down the street make the experience easy simply with the iPad ordering too. Atmosphere wasn t bad. Nothing much to say there. Overall with a party I went with where we were a table of 12. The food was mediocre to decent. The service was just terrible however. Would I come again? If I had a choice not at all.
$260 for 4 people, lunch all you can eat. Expensive for the quality. Limited menu option. No dessert. Tea is charged extra, and for every time they refill the tea. Ridiculous. No tablet ordering available . Paper menu and you need to call over the waitress everytime.
The food was very delicious. I was the only person at my table that ate sushi but there were plenty of options for the other people
Nice place
I enjoyed the, A la carte menu. The Food was tasty and had an OK amount of options for a vegan like myself, but not enough to justify going all you can eat. I think the staff should be trained a bit better on what items qualify as vegan. Otherwise the service was very good.
Food is very mediocre, and I wouldn t call this Thai at all, they use one sauce for several dishes and they really should upgrade to an iPad menu
Truly excellent dining experience. Beautiful restaurant, great service, incredible food - will return
Be careful when checking out because they might rip you off. Basically forced us to tip by adding it to the machine and not making a change, we assumed it was mandatory. Later found out it wasn t mandatory unless it s a group of 8+. My friend asked for change since she paid in cash and the waitress tried to embarrass her by saying oh but there s no tip included terrible. We also ordered from the all you can eat menu that states leftover food will be charged so we made sure to order less and ask how many pieces come in a plate. Every plate ended up being double or triple what we were told, waitress told us 4 pieces in a plate yet 8 showed up. Gave us a hard time just to charge for the unconsumed food. Also pad Thai was terrible and the only good food was the fried rice
Service is prompt and efficient if a bit brusque. Food is adequate but certainly not above average(2.5 stars). Noisy, dimly lit and kraft paper covered tables reminiscent of a fast food chain. Those who frequent here are likely not discerning.
food was garbage they mess up orders too honestly just go to Mandarin across the street.
Went for a late supper with my wife last night. The food came out warm, calamari was rubbery. The food we received we felt we got what was left over from earlier suppers. Suishi was ok. I highly suggest going for the earlier supper, thus not taking any chances. Parking: Good Kid-friendliness: Great Wheelchair accessibility: Great
Had supper and took advantage of a Fathers Day all you can eat special. Tried short ribs: very good....Maki torched sushi roll; very good. Wonton soup, gyosa, beef and chicken stays, green salad, Wakame salad, beef with broccoli, and pepper beef; good. Sweet and sour fish and Thai dumplings were nothing to be impressed. Calamari was not good... we had the end of the day leftovers, and you could tell ... it was not freshly made and harder than rubber. Staff were exceptionally wonderful and pleasant. The atmosphere was nice enough; little dated with extra decor that doesnt fit. Bathrooms were not in good shape, but it was a holiday weekend. This place is fine for families.
Got terrible food poisoning.
The only issue is pay dinner prize at 2:30 pm. To me until 4:30 it s lunch!!! All the rest super good
Great experience! Food was good
Really love this location! I went to another location further west and I was not impressed. I was told this place was the best and they were right!! Food came out quick, staff were attentive, fast to clear out and efficient with refills, great selection of food, highly recommend! Come hungry, leave full
Good quality all you can eat Japanese and Chinese with sushi and cooked dishes too. Good variety and very fast service. Nice atmosphere. Go early as it gets busy quickly or make a reservation.
Wow I really enjoyed , everything was absolutely good
Had lunch at Spoon and Fork and tried the all-you-can-eat sushi. We liked the vibe of the restaurant; the staff were friendly and much better than similar places nearby. They brought sashimi on ice, which I prefer over warm room temperature plates. The maki rolls were okay but not the greatest. They didnt have the digital ordering method with iPads and pictures showing samples of food. With the older style menus, we werent sure about some items. Overall, it was a positive experience, and well definitely be back.
Celebrated an occasion here. Service was great and the staff was very attentive. Ordering was a bit chaotic with 10 guests. Food was good and atmosphere is nice. I couldnt believe the buffet is $40 for adults now. So with tip and tax it ends up more than $50 and thats with no alcohol. Id say its overpriced.
While I was excited to try the all-you-can-eat sushi at this restaurant, my experience fell short of expectations for a few key reasons. Firstly, unlike other similar establishments, this restaurant does not utilize iPads or digital devices for order placements, requiring customers to order through waitstaff. I found this method to be somewhat cumbersome, as the staff seemed hesitant and often questioned the quantity of our orders, which detracted from the dining experience. Additionally, while the initial service of presets was prompt, the pace significantly slowed down as the meal progressed, making it challenging to place additional orders. It became difficult to catch the attention of a waitress for more food, which is contrary to the essence of an all-you-can-eat experience. Another point of disappointment was the policy on soft drink refills. Unlike many other dining establishments, this restaurant charges for refills, which felt a bit outdated and not in line with current dining trends. Overall, the restaurant seems to be stuck in the early 2000s in terms of service and policies. An update to more modern ordering systems and customer service practices could greatly enhance the dining experience. While the concept of all-you-can-eat sushi is appealing, these aspects made my visit less enjoyable than anticipated.
Great dinner with friends
Shelley is the worst
If youre looking for good service, quality food, and the experience of an authentic Japanese restaurant, this definitely IS NOT the place. However, if youre only concerned about price and want to eat like a glutton, regardless of quality and service, then maybe its a good place. The service is not polite, not attentive; they rush you to pay even before you finish eating, the food doesnt seem fresh, far from what is expected for a Japanese restaurant.
We visited the restaurant again on Sunday, April 7, 2024 with the whole family. We booked a table in advance so as not to depend on the influx of visitors. We placed an order and the time before the first courses began to be served did not exceed 1 minute!!! Everything that I wrote before has not changed, so I will not repeat it, the delight did not leave us! I really love ginger, I had to order it additionally if this can be considered a drawback, but everything is fixable and everything is great. Thanks to the team for the fast and quality service!!! Everyone worked as a well-coordinated team! I really liked the restaurant. It is quite popular, so I recommend booking a table. The waitress Sandy was very attentive and efficient. Using a tablet when taking an order obviously made the food arrive much faster!! I won t bore you with the list of menus, everything is on the website, but it is very varied! I want to try everything, so the feast is more like a tasting! The main thing, guys, is not to overeat! Then you will certainly want to come back more than once! I recommend enjoying fish today, shrimp tomorrow, and next time focusing on sushi, etc. The design of the restaurant is restrained, but original and thoughtful because... nothing will distract you from the dishes served... If you dare to visit this establishment once, you will understand that it does not need advertising. We love visiting it with the whole family and everyone finds something to their liking.
Rude server. Kim made our experience the worst. Never again.
Nothing is special about this place. Not worth it. Food
Great FAST service in Great atmosphere. Would come back there when in area.
The food is the only reason why I come back here. The service is TRASH literally I ordered for delivery ( which they don t provide fyi) and the lady called to tell me they don t order and that I should come pick up and then gave me the wrong order. I called once I got my order to explain I received the wrong order and the lady was soo defensive telling me I was wrong and didn t tell her I changed my order? Why would I change the order you supposedly saw online to tell me you don t deliver? It s the same order! Just admit that you got it wrong instead of blaming the customer- I also admitted I didn t double check once I got it but don t be rude that y all messed up. Note to everyone- be prepared to pick up your order and call the store instead of going on google because it doesn t work for them.
Its not Japanese food, its not Thai, its Chinese fast food, nicely presented. Anyone that is looking for real Thai or Japanese food, this place is not for you. Anyone happy with generic Canadian Asian food, this will do. Enjoy!
Great location, the ambiance was really nice, the food really tasty. The waiters were a bit rushing, but nothing crazy. Loved having many options on the menu!
The food was good but the service was awful! Staff seem to care more about socializing with each other rather than giving good service
Ate there last night with the family and we all felt ghastly ill and I ve even woke up this morning still feeling ill.
Website said one price, went in store and they upcharged me 20%. When mentioned to them they said website not updated and they cant so anything since I already paid
Everything was perfect
If I could give this place zero stars I would, was my first time coming here and it will definitely be my last, we went here as a party of 13 people and while I understand some things may be slow or go wrong this was a different case as everything was absolutely terrible about this establishment. Service was extremely slow, everytime we placed a order with the servers they would just forget about us and not bring the food or act surprised saying that there was no order placed inside the kitchen or pretend like they didnt take our order leaving us starving and left hungry while charging a ridiculous amount for their buffet. Trust me do not spend your hard earned money here as you will be left hungry and annoyed the entire time while they just dismiss your concerns and dont bring you what you ordered seems like they dont care about their customers at all and just want your money. Do not trust the high starred reviews under this as obviously it is a complete lie either these people were payed to write that review or they are delusional to this trash restaurant. WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
4.5 - closer to a 4 than 5 - I enjoyed the food tremendously- it s a bit of a weird one to have the server still take an order for an AYCE - but they are very friendly. I think it could use a bit of an overhaul in the decor, but overall, the value felt worth it for the quality of the food and variety.
Restaurant was full for dinner service and seemed understaffed to handle the number of guests Service was slow and when we got food it was literally thrown in the table often times spilling sauce over the table cloth. Food was poor quality, resulting in 2 of the 4 guests being sick overnight. Overall disappointed and certainly not worth the money we spent. I ve been to the Oakville location which is much better and will not come back to this location again
Food was ok, but service was horrible. Considering resteraunt was not busy I would have expected not to have to ask for rice three times and then recieve it after other dishes were eaten or cold. Worst however was when I asked if they could bring some desert out with a candle and trying to be subtle, only to be told I would have to show ID for my 81 year old father. Considering we had 6 people spending 39.99 each for dinner asking for ID to bring out a $2 piece of cake is ridiculous and embarrassing. Really should rethink your policies!!!
The reviews dont lie, this restaurant is polished garbage. Being one of the only 3 all you can eat places near the lakeshore, this restaurant is unreasonably bad. Like the decor and vibe is nice when you get in but when you notice it takes almost 10 minutes to get water and menus brought to your table, you know its not going to be a good time. The fact that a staff member took it upon himself to reply WITH ATTITUDE to my grandmothers 3rd request for her salad goes to show what kind of place youre dealing with. They werent busy whatsoever too, it doesnt make sense. Who ever owns this place should check in with their manager. The guy definitely isnt doing his job. Honestly, avoid this AYCE spot. Goto Mandarin.
The experience was great, my coworkers were thrilled, it was their first time.We planned to visit again soon.Thank you.
I found the service, staff and overall cleanliness and ambiance to be quiet good. I personally didn t like the food. The rest of may family was satisfied with the food. Food
Food has been great as always... service was a little slow for some reason. Its not a everytime things so will see past that...
Nice place, tasty food, good crevice, Little bit old interior I ordered mango chicken and it was too spicy, so I aked to change and I got excellent not spicy food + All you can eat for 30$
Belated Christmas work party. 3hr of eating. Good food.( No raw food for me). 2 time eating there. Definitely
Compared to other establishments of this level, the interior is superb. The sushi is very tasty. Waitress Sandy is a professional. The service is very good. Everything is fast and attentive. Parking: We arrived at lunchtime, a day off, there were a lot of free parking spaces
Food is fresh and all you can eat was very satisfying. Staff are attentive and always helpful. A great dining experience.
Service is very attentive.. Food were just okay
They have a delicious food, an excellent service
Delicious sushi lunch with excellent service.
The food was great. The menu size is pretty standard. The service was not like other AYCE sushi where you order off a tablet or slip, but instead, it is just letting the waiter/ waitress know what you want to order. Despite this, the food still came at a good time. The decor was nice too. The price was pricey, but so are most other AYCE sushi places. Overall, Ill go back at some point.
Excellent customer service by both the lady manager and lady server for my takeout order! Food was delicious! Thank you so much!!!
We had finished dinner and as we were leaving we saw a large bug (probably a cockroach) crawling on our booth. This was not how we wanted to end our meal and it seems like it is not the only time it has happened according to other reviews.
Loved the sushi and Thai combo
I was told I could only make a reservation if I had a party of 6 or more! Waited for an hour and a half for a table! Food was delicious, but the tempura was really greasy! At the end of our meal a cockroach fell from the ceiling onto my son!!! When I told the server she apologized and offered a 3 for 1 deal for next time. The manager didnt even bother to come to our table! We will not be back!
It is expensive compared to the food
The food was very fresh and delicious. The service was a little slow but super friendly
I walked in then I asked them if there soft drink is refillable he said no then I said ok # I change my mind and I will leave Thanks Food
This is my go to place for all you can eat. The food is absolutely amazing. Usually, all you can eat restaurants dont have the best quality food but Spoon and Fork is 5 star quality food as well. The dinner menu has the short ribs which is a must. The mango salad, coconut shrimp, calamari and pepper beef are always great openers. For main course, must try the black pepper udon noodles and the Thai curry fish. The maki rolls are great too, some veg maki options like yam and cheese are pretty darn good options, even for non vegetarians. Dont miss out on the dimsums, they are a part of the dinner menu, just mentioned on a different one pager menu. The desserts are fun, creme brule, mango pudding and the fried banana (which goes well with icecream) are really good too. All in all, I would say its TOTALLY worth the money, if you have a big appetite. Vegetarian options: Available
Absolutely tasteless horrible cardboardy food!
We dined in and had take out several times from here, and its always delicious. I would make a reservation for busy nights like Saturday. And go for the all you can taste menu, excellent value and a great way to sample lots of different items. Cheers!
Dispite having the same name, each location of spoon and fork is different. This one is by far the best one. Great quality food and service.
Came for lunch The sushi could have been better but the beef satay and the green curry were phenomenal
All you can eat sushi is fresh and delicious. The cocktails are great.
I had a birthday dinner here last night, my friends and I were asked to leave early as they had a reservation at our table. It was negative ending to the evening, I would avoid this place, especially for a special occasion
Good for all you can eat
As we were finishing our meal & having a green tea we noticed a cockroach crawling on the wall of our booth. I addressed the matter to the manager that was working & his respond to me was oh yes we sprayed for them & they must be coming out sorry about that. That was not the answer I was looking for. Clearly this place must be infested with cockroaches & it was no news to the manager
We called in to see if the restaurant was busy and if we needed a reservation for a table for 2. The woman over the phone stated no and just to come in. We came in and there wasn t any tables ready, they had to be cleaned. Which wasn t the issue. The issues were when we ordered items like the gyoza we got 2 pieces the first time then when ordered again 20 minutes later we got 5 pieces. Same with the miso soup the first time we ordered it, it came in a slightly smaller bowl. The second time we ordered it, we got a different bowl which looked like a different sized portion. Just as we had finished our food and ordered an Uber, a man (I m guessing was the manager older Asian male with little to no hair) informed us we had to leave cause someone else had just came in and they wanted to seat them at our table. We had literally just got our plates taken away and had gotten the bill as he had come over. As someone who has digestive issues and needs at least 5 minutes of sitting time this was extremely unprofessional. I myself work in the food industry and the way we were immediately rushed out of our table just as we finished was disgusting. The buffet option has a 2 hour limit which we did not exceed, we just wanted to sit for 5 minutes to digest and wait for an Uber (Uber was only 3 minutes away). This restaurant will give away your table while you re still there! The 2 hour limit doesn t apply, they will kick you out as soon as you get your bill no matter if you only stayed for 30 minutes. I loved my experience here last week but after today I will never return. The servers were kind other than that. They are truly understaffed. The management should be heavily reconsidered. Overall management is to blame here and will drive this restaurant into the ground.
I had the all you can eat buffet, the food was okay, however service was unprofessional, we paid our bill, sat down waiting to digest our meal for 5 minutes when we were asked to leave (every table has a 2 hour time limit we did not meet 2 hours yet) by one of the male workers because there were other people waiting at the door, that is very telling about this establishment. Learn to have a better communication bridge between you and your guests, be professional, create a waitlist, do not promise another person a table that s not free, and obviously occupied, because you already got the cheque you wanted. it s not right to kick someone out just to accommodate other person because you want to maximise the amount of profit you are making because everything is about money not customer service. As server and an experienced professional(and decent human being) working in the restaurant field head office would be called immediately. No restaurant i ve been to is like this, I would not pay this price again because of the service even IF the food was amazing a good establishment in order to succeed needs GOOD customer service. if you want to be rushed this is a perfect place for you. check other reviews there were rodents spotted here right. i do believe this place can be saved but if they keep going at this trajectory they will lose business. Don t limit yourself to a small minded space please find better.
Every time i go, the food is high quality for an all you can eat and drinks are great. The only thing that needs work in my opinion is the staff. Some are impatient and simce there isnt an ipad like most places you need to locate then and flag them down every time you want more food. Which is fine but when its busy it can take 10 minutes before you can even order. Lunch menu doesnt have sashimi but dinner menu does.
Ths place is good
Came for lunch today (try to make it once every couple of months), food was outstanding as always (love the shrimp dumplings, dynamite rolls, grilled salmon, red curry fish etc). Service is always good but today Shelly was exceptional, rather that my usual dynamite roll she suggested a new version with salmon on top..I love all forms of seafood and the new roll was large but excellent and a great recommendation). Plus I love the (relatively) new Mango puddings! Amazing food, service and value!
My teenaged daughter and friend dined at this location and were aggressively bullied into leaving a larger tip.(They left 5$ each. I would be interested to know if they would treat an adult the same. Service
Good sushi place, offers sashimi during lunch service Parking: Lots Food : 4/5 |
Great food, great service.
Was going to bring the family for ayce dinner. I find out they would charge my 2 year old $18 for dinner when all other ayce places are free for kids that age. If and when they change their pricing for kids, Ill reconsider coming.
Rude manager. Talking bad about me in Chinese. So I just left. Restaurant was empty and he didn t want me to sit in a booth. They got 20 booths and 16 were empty.
The best all you can eat sushi chain which never disappoints. Nice decor. Lunch buffet has plenty of delicious japanese and thai items including sashimi
Great place to have a night out with friends. Fun atmosphere, food was quick and excellent service.
Good food and atmosphere. Serving portions seem to have been reduced greatly, though Food
Great place to host birthday dinners! Ive been coming since I was young... One of my all time favourite restaurants.
The buffet option is fantastic! Service and staff is equally fantastic.
I have been to this place many times. Weekday lunch all you can eat used to be the best deal around. Top quality for cheap. The prices have gone up but the quality is still excellent. I m never unhappy here.
I ordered the Bangkok Street Style Pad Thai with Chicken. Wow for $14.50 the portion size was amazing. The food was insanely good just look at my initial reaction. Enough said. Spoon and Fork thank you.
Very rude pushy staff who try to persuade you to order more or spend more money in an aggressive way. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Went for Lunch with a group. The servers were quick, attentive and friendly. The food was brought out to our table in good time. Great place to enjoy a tasty meal. Food : 4/5
