Corazon Agave - Mexican Cuisine in Etobicoke

We met some friends for lunch at this place and I ordered Michoacanas enchiladas. Personally I wasn t impressed with my dish, which looked very much like rolled soft tacos with chicken meat and a lot of salsa and sour cream on top. My husband and one other friend ordered birria tacos and they seemed to be very happy with their choice. My Mom ordered fish tacos and she wasn t very pleased with them. The atmosphere and service are OK, but their cooking could use some improvement. Parking is limited, but there is No Frills supermarket across the street where you can park for free.

Authentic Mexican food, delicious. The place is beautifully decorated and clean. The lady was nice and helpful recommending us the dishes. Highly recommended!

Great tacos! Really great hot sauces!

Super fresh and flavourful. Mole is velvety and delicious. Can t wait to try more from the menu! Oh yeah and get the mint cucumber lemonade! Perfect!

A small little joint tucked away on a busy street serving very authentic Mexican food which is made fresh and is filled with flavours and spices. We tried several items on their menu including their drinks and must say that mango drink was one of the best - very balanced and made with fresh mangoes. Their tacos, nachos and tortillas are fresh and packed with flavors. Host and Owner Linda was very friendly and approachable. A must visit if you like to eat authentic Mexican food.

Thank goodness for a good Mexican restaurant in South Etobicoke! We tried this 8-month-old new place for the first time in mid-Oct. and we were pleasantly surprised at how authentic and delicious the food was. Lots of apparent experience and passion from this small, Mexican family run spot. Limited menu specializing in tacos, with other Mexican options and weekend special dishes. Cocinita taco highly recommended.

My husband and I found this great Mexican restaurant tonight. It is very affordable and the food is excellent! We really enjoyed the Marguerites. I had the guacamole with homemade chips as a starter and a taco with potatoes and Charizzo. Top that off with cherrys and you have a great meal!

this place will make you feel like you are back in Mexico. Freshly made guacamole and Pico de gallo is a must. We also had chicken fajita, campechano and enchiladas which were also amazing. They make you feel welcome and are super nice people. If you dont want to go to a chain restaurant where staff just dont care , go visit Corazon Agave, you wont regret

My friend and I went there for dinner last night, and as we bit into our tacos it instantly carried us back to our experiences in Mexico. I personally spent two months living in Merida, Mexico and can attest to this restaurant being an authentic Mexican experience. We had the Tortilla chips and Guacamole, Mango pie, Tacos (Cochinita, Pastor, Shrimp, Campechano), and Margaritas (Strawberry, Pomegranate, Jackfruit, and Classic). They also have a collection of Mexican drinks to choose from, and we honestly look forward to going again and now planning our next trip back to Mexico. A huge thanks to the person who served us, Linda, who was also the owner!

What a great place with amazing food! Went in to pickup some takeout and had an excellent experience. Although it was busy, the staff were pleasant and courteous and answered my questions. Food was incredible, generous portions of meat on authentic tortillas. Churros were also amazing. Will be a regular customer.

Nice little spot that seats about 20 people. Atmosphere is super chill and comfy, the service was great, very welcoming and accomodating. The tacos were super delicious and fresh, plenty of limes and sauces. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Gracias por la comida! This is one of those places you find and tell your friends about. A local, passionate about foodie opens up an authentic place and becomes a foodpreneur. The food is fresh, made from scratch, and the timing is quick. Overall, great food for the money (equals value) and you walk away with a smile on your face. It feels unique and authentic from the moment you walk in to the time the food is in your mouth. Its not a fancy place, but real and authentic, and new. Support local.

Authentic to my untrained palate. Ample street parking, free after 6pm. Was hoping for a couple of tables outside and a beer, but they offer neither. Was nice to get out of the city, though, to the somewhat calmer Etobicoke.

Our family loves good food and we were so happy to to try this new Mexican restaurant a few weeks ago. We came in on a Tuesday for dinner before the movies and we were so pleased they had $5 Taco Tuesday. Even better was being there for their Tuesday Special Tortilla Soup. The bowl was so full of flavour and the textures of the tortilla chips with the melty cheese was amazing We tried the quesadilla and a variety of tacos...all amazing and our faves were the shrimp, veggie and campechano They make their own salsas and homemade sauces which they also sell. My favourite is the tamarind chipotle, I just love it We enjoyed it so much weve already been back a 2nd time!! We want to go again soon to try their weekend brunch But Tuesday will always be our special night due to the tortilla soup. Love that it is local and family-owned.

What a great place to eat authentic Mexican cuisine. We ordered the Nacho s, the cheese and toppings are layered all the way to the bottom. The chips and sauces are homemade. It s like going to eat at a friends place in Mexico. We shared an order of nachos, we were full. The owners are wonderful, I can t wait to try the enchiladas.

Lived in California for 4 years and travelled throughout Mexico. Nothing in Toronto has been higher than a 7/10 on my scale. This placed nailed it. Go here. I will be back.

Delicious new Mexican restaurant in the area, we were there on a Tuesday and they had a $5 Taco Tuesdays deal - we got the shrimp tacos, and the mushroom tacos. They were amazing, we would appreciate more vegetarian options for the tacos because one of us is a vegetarian. We went back a few weeks later for brunch, and got the chilaquiles, such a flavourful sauce. They also sell their sauce in bottles to take home, which we did and highly recommend.

Canada has always disappointed me not having enough delicious authentic Mexican food but this place is an absolute gem. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Perfect portions and really tasty homemade sauces to accompany them. You have to finish your meal with Churros as well. Also make sure to try the Tamarind sauce as well. Ill be back very soon! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were delicious but a couple more would be perfect.

The tacos are authentic and absolutely delicious. The veggie options are fantastic as well. Dont leave without getting the churros because your dine-in experience is incomplete without them.

This restaurant has very good reviews and as a result we went with high expectations. Unfortunately, the reviews did not meet our expectations. The good things: The decor is nice, with beautiful plates and nice touches with plants. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The bad: At the end a restaurant is about the food and it really disappointed. The pastor tacos arrived cold and the meat was overcooked and dry. Similarly other tacos were bland overcooked and dry. Thinking that the cook had a bad day we ordered enchiladas. They were made with no-frills tortillas and over the counter cheese. It is a pity because the intentions are good but Mexican cuisine is very tasty and this place ended with a bland version of the simplest dishes. Finally the restaurant has too few people for the number of tables and the service is slow. I cant recommend it.

I ordered from here on Uber Eats and got their suizas and a taco. The taco was fine but the suizas was cold, soggy, overcooked, and bland. I couldve made something better with my eyes closed and a with a cold. I paid $20 for it. Sure the taco was fine but it definitely was not worth $10 for the one taco either. Never ordering from here again.

You step into the restaurant, and the colours are festive and the decor is adorable. We were greeted by the sweetest woman who runs the place. We ordered tacos and and both types of enchiladas. They were perfect. Ended the night with crispy churros with both caramel and chocolate sauces. The food was delicious and as someone who had a lot of Mexican food, this place has the best so far that Ive tasted in the GTA.

Best nachos Ive ever had my entire adult life lol. Simply fantastic!! Tacos were great too, they are not the typical tiny tacos with barely any ingredients that alot of places are offering these days. Its jam packed to the brim and super filling. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Made me happy to support a local family business. Will be back again, no doubt about it.

We were very happy with our first experience at Corazon Agave. The food was fantastic and well priced (fish and pastor tacos around the table) and the service was very warm and friendly. I think this will be our new neighbourhood Mexican spot.

As Mexicans, one of the things we miss most is the seasoning of our food, which is always imitated, but rarely equaled. However, at Corazón Agave we not only find the seasoning, but the very spirit of our food since not only is the flavor delicious, the service and the atmosphere make you feel at home. More than a Mexican food restaurant, it is a sensory transport to visits to grandmas house. The personal treatment, the taste of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel at home. Definitely more than a meal, it is an experience.

So glad I found this adorable restaurant! The tacos were amazing! I tried the shrimp, fish and beef/chorizo tacos and they were all fantastic! I can t wait to come back and try the other tacos. The weekend breakfast looks delicious too .will definitely be coming back to give that a try!

This is such a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. Not many places offer traditional Mexican breakfast. Their Motulenos eggs are so tasty with the house made tomato sauce. Their tacos are very flavourful too. Would definitely be back for their Tuesday special on tacos.

Definitely a place to return to, we went for lunch and wow I was surprised. A clean and pleasant place, they welcomed us very warmly, we ordered different dishes, all super delicious, and served in good portions, we tried fish and shrimp tacos and it really tastes like what you are eating, which means, for me, the products that they use are of quality. I had green chilaquiles with chicken, the spiciness was just perfect, we ordered picó de gallo and it was also delicious. Weve got a new Mexican restaurant down on the Queensway and its quite good. I got a chicken fajita taco and a chorizo/potato taco and while the chicken one hit the spot, the chorizo one was packed with nice flavor. Tacos come with a side of lime, and some onions/herbs to add on along with some hot sauce. Spice level its quite mild so I was quite happy to eat this after a long day. The restaurant looks like itll be fully operational in about 2-3 weeks so Im looking forward to visiting again at that time. The staff are friendly and the layout is quite nice. Definitely a nice option in contrast to the standard burrito restaurants we have lining the Queensway. Definitely recommended.

During this weekend, I was very lucky to diacover this new place offering actual mexican food ( I mean real ). The place just opened, so we tried a few tostadas for lunch. I loved everything, the flavours, presentation, and the excellent customer service. We felt like home. The place is nicely decorated and has some interesting artifacts showcasing ancient mexican cultural aspects. I also enjoyed very much learning about the culture behind some of these decorations.

There was certainly a lack of great mexican restaurants on the queensway, so this was a very welcome addition. Absolutely delicious tacos, and the guacamole was great. The service was excellent and the environment was nice. A tad bit expensive for 1 taco, but I hear promotions will begin soon, i am staying tuned for taco Tuesday. The shrimp tacos and alambre were made excellently, and I enjoyed everything!! 5/5.

Not a lot of Mexican on the strip and this place is very very solid. Nice new interior will be nice to eat in when they are ready. Ordered 5 different tacos and all were fantastic. Special recognition to the shrimp fish and pastor which will most likely be my go-to s in the future. Authentic taste and experience, you can tell it s a true family business. Will be back and soon. Maybe I ll take a picture next time if the food makes it out of the car.

The food service was too slow, the place was empty, there were only two of us and it was very slow, the service is not the best, both points can improve, they lack a menu or QR codes to see the menu. I tried the tacos and the pastor one had too much fat.
