I asked them to bake a cake that was specifically something that my sister wanted. I tried to look everywhere for it but no one took the order. Patricia and her mom literally saved the day. They made the cake exactly as I hoped and were so amazing! The cake tasted absolutely delicious and I couldn t have asked more. If you need custom cakes, this is the place for you! Our daughters wedding cake was delicious and absolutely gorgeous. We required a gluten free layer for my daughter - she was happy and stayed healthy. The entire cake was cut up for the late night buffet - only 3 small cake pieces were left. Thank you Patricia and your team!

My experience with Patricia was absolutely amazing, I ordered a cake very last minute (the day before) and they were very patient with me despite everything being so hectic. We exchanged emails and phone calls and they made me a beautiful cake for a small wedding gathering that everyone loved, it was beautiful.

Newest Edit Jan 2021- I filed with my credit card company and got my money back BEWARE FRAUD, COVID 19: Stay away from Patricias Cake Creations - SHE ACCEPTS USED EATEN CAKE FROM LARGE GATHERINGS BACK INTO HER BAKERY. She frauds people and steals their money, she NEVER refunds even if she claims she will. The cakes NEVER look like the picture you supply. If she promises you gold foil you get gold spray paint. She won t let you know ahead of time - that s her game. You have to double and triple confirm everything with her or chances are you re not getting it! Supplied her a photo of a cake with a big sugar rose on it. I asked what the price was in addition to 3 macaroons. She said all in 195 CAD. Later she tried up charging me an extra 25 dollars for 3 macaroons. She also tried to up charge an additional 25 to add a speck of gold to the flower but the flower had gold in the photo supplied to her. She literally will promise you that she can make it just to take your order and your money. Patricia is a FRAUD. If there s something she can t do she won t tell you just in case you change your mind and want your money/deposit back. Gave us wrong flavours, added about 20 IKEA (yes she admitted from IKEA) straws (that were to serve as dowels inside the cake) without letting us know, into our cake. In the beginning of our conversation she informed me the cake would be a hidden two tier cake and there would be a cake board in between. She felt it was important to let me know there would be a hidden cake board but failed to mentioned 20 plastic straws would be inserted in the whole bottom tier. If I had known this I would have never ordered from her for multiple reasons the main one being COVID 19 and the possible contamination. A slice with a small piece of straw was served to a child and it could have ended very tragically. We were not aware that there were hidden straws inside until the children were served cake, you can imagine how horrific that was. The straws also ripped parts of the buttercream right out of the cake. Some guests had straws in their cake. It was a complete waste as the bottom tier was completely inedible. Piping looks like an elementary school project, very unprofessional. Buttercream layers were horrific. Fat pieces, skinny pieces, no buttercream in some pieces. Just terrible. Patricia ignored my calls, finally replied 2 weeks later and offered a refund if there was any cake leftover, probably hoping the cake would be eaten by then (that s her game so she has an excuse not to refund you if you finish the cake which is why there s a large gap in response from her as shes hoping when she finally replies you ate all your cake so FREEZE your cake) I had replied that I still had the cake and I want my refund, SHE COMPLETELY STOPPED REPLYING. She never follows through with a refund even if she promises you one. Since she offered a refund and I replied asking how to go about the refund, I have not heard back from Patricia ever again. I have contacted the ministry of health and advised them about what is happening. She claims she will refund you if you return your cake for a refund (even though she claims no one is allowed in the bakery due to covid19). PLUS her mom is in/out of hospitals regularly (taking care of sick family member) according to Patricia in our email thread yet HER MOM is decorating cakes and the bakery is accepting used eaten cake from large gatherings??? That s totally unacceptable as she s taking these items (boxes, cake boards, non eatable elements to the cake) back into the bakery that have been around large groups of 20+ people and where sheis preparing other cake orders. I froze the cake as she was taking forever to reply as I kind of had a feeling the delayed response was part of her plan, plus no one really ate her cake anyway it was horrible. I sent her a picture of a container full of her cake ready for a refund. I asked her where we can meet as I am NOT bringing in my used cake into her bakery to potentially contaminate other customer s orders. SHE NEVER REPLIED AGAIN.

I ordered a Valentines cake for my family over the phone and was delighted to see pictures of the beautiful cake and to know it was yummy, too.

Delicious cake!! We dont usually enjoy icing ftom other bakeries because its usually too sweet. There was not a crumb left of our cake from Patricias!! The sponge and icing was equally delicious. Customer service was warm, friendly, accommodating, and they were able to take a last minute order. Conveniently located on Dundas close to the humber river, a stones throw from bloor west and the Junction.

Patricia made the most delicious cake for my husband s birthday. The frosting was so light and airy, made with beautiful quality chocolate, it was almost mousse-like. It had the most delicious moist chocolate cake inside. The cake was beautifully decorated and Patricia made a personalized sign for the cake. I would have no hesitation highly recommending anything from Patricia s Cakes.

Lets talk about how amazing and addictive these cupcakes are... For a quick delivery on Mothers Day Sunday, Patricias Cake Creations popped up on my UBER eats as being open for another 20 minutes and ready made/available to order cupcakes. (a ton of flavor options to note) That part in itself is a dream, who has cupcakes at the ready? My hero. But nevermind the amazing service and last minute delivery - The cupcakes MY GAWD - THE CUPCAKES!! These are the most delicious, moist, melt in your mouth cupcakes, in the world..!, - and the icing - WHAT? FLuffy McFlufferson. A puffy cloud of goodness, with the right amount of sweetness and a perfect silky finish. The ratio btw, is a mathematical anomaly. Have you ever had a dream of your perfect dessert? Well here it is.

HORRIBLE experience. I exchanged several texts with Patricia going back 4weeks prior to order date, including pictures of what I wanted: an over the top 3D cake with wording. I was quoted $250 which I gladly paid. It was to be a big reveal for my dtr s grade 12 graduation. This is what I got! I was extremely disappointed. Not at all what we talked about. Patricia called that afternoon to ask for more time. Postpone pick up from 2pm to 5pm which I agreed to. Got there at 5pm with guests arriving at 6pm. I was shocked at this cake. Maria offered $100 off. I had no other dessert planned and my dtr was so excited about it. So I took it. Patricia at first only offered $100 off and had the nerve to say that she delivered on what was discussed. (I have saved all the text messages so she was clearing lying!) She made me feel that I was wrong and she would not admit to her error. She eventually agreed to a full refund. Oh, it also tasted AWFUL! It was mostly icing. NONE of our guests finished their serving. NEVER GO HERE! Does this look like a $250 cake for a high school graduate?

If I could give this place a negative or zero rating I would!!! They made a cake for my daughters high school graduation that was an absolute disaster! A three year old could have done a better job. They were late completing it and when we went to pick it up for a party that night we were devastated. We had no other options. We hoped it would at least taste better but it was horrible and an embarrassment to our guests. Patricia admitted that they had not come through yet did not want to give us our money back. Only after threatening to sue them did they finally give us the money back. Stay away, stay far away from this disreputable business. You would be better off getting a dozen donuts than serving the overpriced products this place makes!!

The cake for my Moms big birthday couldnt have been better...Maria was a great help in choice and design and the final selection was created with such attention and the taste was sublime. We received a gift certificate from Patricias Cake Creations for our anniversary. We decided on using it for their High Tea. Since the premises were not open for indoor eating, we opted for High Tea To Go. We picked up our box of wonderful tea goodies and went to enjoy them by the lake at a picnic table. Everything was absolutely delicious - the freshly made sandwiches, the melt-in-your-mouth scones with raspberry preserves, lemon curd and clotted cream, crispy and buttery croissants and a very large assortment of finger pastries. There were enough goodies left over for the next day or two. The only thing was we were unable to brew the tea that was included in our package but will save it for tea at home. We did pick up brewed tea at a take-out kiosk. A lovely afternoon by the lake with wonderful High Tea treats! Thank you!!

Had a very racist encounter with Patricia and the older woman working inside, for being in the parking lot. Apparently to her, i parked there last week and she told me not to park there...Ive never been there in my life. Apparently black women look the same. There were 2 other people in their cars there... 2 Caucasian males.. she said nothing to them but let me know shes the owner of the building so she has the right to enforce and took pictures of my plates. The funny thing is I already informed her I was not staying and I acknowledged her reason for coming to me in the first place. There are NO SIGNS anywhere as well as i was right beside my car minding my business waiting for a call from my boss at 10 am when she chose to go out of her way to treat me as though a simple conversation couldnt have sufficed.

Maria, the baker and Patricia were extremely helpful and willing to please me with my request for a wedding cake on such a short notice, only one week away from my wedding day I contacted them and they made sure my beautiful cake was ready for my celebration. Weve used Patricias Cake Creations a handful of times now - for our wedding cakes (we had 2!), and now for our baby showers (also 2!). What I love about this little shop is that they adhere to special dietary requests, and the cake is ALWAYS outstanding in both taste and design. What I would LOVE is for a quicker reply rate. Aside from that little detail, ALL our guests absolutely love the cakes, love the designs - they are always blown away by the level of detail and final product. I had the most beautiful and delicious custom cake from Patricia Cake Creations for Mothers Day. I cannot wait for another special occasion to try more flavours. The detailing on the buttercream surround was so deftly executed it looked like art, I almost didnt want to cut into it. I couldnt believe it tasted as beautiful as it looked. So moist, with just the right amount of sweetness. I was also happy to know the shop offers other confections too. I am very grateful to have found this gem; so impressed I had to share!

I was very impressed with this bakery and owner. I was pressed to order a cake for Fathers day a few days before the actual day. All bakeries could not assist due to the late notice. This bakery was very accommodating and helpful and patient with my questions and requests and the cake was delivered in perfect condition and apparently tasted even better! We placed an order for the carrot cake with buttercream frosting. I look forward to seeing this bakery on my next visit to Etobicoke and meeting the kind owners. Ah, the joys of covid19! Due to this strange new world, I find myself trapped in another country on the other side of the world. And I cannot get back to Canada, so... I found Patricias Cake Creations online, and after two weeks of clarifying an order with a 12 hours difference, multiple banking issues (all on my end), Patricia came through for a birthday order to be delivered on Fathers Day. No problem: the order included cake, perogies, scones and macarons. Patricia was patient, kind, understanding; the food was super delicious and the cake was very pretty. Thanks so much for great service and product!

They have a delicious counter display with freshly made treats and scones.

I was so impressed with their work that I only order my cakes for Baby Showers, Birthdays and Special Events from Patricia. My favorite is dolce de leche filling. Patricia s Cakes is the most over rated, over promised and under delivered business in Etobicoke! My cake was purchased for a 30th bday party but it was a disappointment as it fell apart in front of 15 guests! We threw it out and drove to Fortino s to get an emergency cake instead! I emailed Patrica the next day and instead of apologizing she sent me a long email reiterating how all her products are natural blah blah and ultimately asked me to bring the cake as proof that it fell apart as opposed taking accountability for a cake that crumbled on a very special occasion. I was disgusted with the serviceavoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!

Patricias Cake was our cake for our wedding and they couldnt be more pleasant or professional to work with! Our consultation with her was very pleasant, and she sketched out a cake for us since we had no cake in mind. Our venue was in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and we were afraid that it may fall apart since it was a pretty far delivery, but not only did it arrive on time and in one piece, the cake she sketched out for us was even more beautiful than we could ever hope for! Lastly, our cake had four tiers, each tier with different flavour and unfortunately for my husband and I, all our guests ate all three tiers! All in all, service was amazing, the presentation of the cake was beyond our expectations and the cake itself tasted out of this world! Thank you Patricia and staff! We will definitely recommend them if our friends need a place for cake or even use you guys in the future!

Patricias Cake Creations has always been excellent with outstanding quality. They use fine ingredients therefore their cakes and cupcakes taste wonderful. It did not matter to them if we wanted a cake for my sister who has diabetes or treats for Christmas, both Patricia and Konrad were phenomenal and went the extra mile. I can only recommend this place - make sure you try their cupcakes; theyre very yummy!

And they did amazing with the colours and turned out better than the pic I submitted! Also quick responses.. And you get a good bang for your buck! Would definitely go here for all future cake orders. Finally found one that I can keep!! Thanks again ladies!! Ill be back for an order in February! =)

Patricia did a phenomenal job with my cake. I gave her a Pinterest photo and said could you replicate this?! Did she ever! Her attention to detail was amazing! She matched the exact flowers that were in my wedding! Patricia was a pleasure to work with! She asked my family if we wanted any coffee, espresso and took great care of us! For our wedding, she even customized a tier for us-Dark chocolate cake with salted caramel icing. The other tier was madagascar vanilla icing and red velvet cake. This was not your normal vanilla, this was real vanilla bean. The cake that she served us for the tasting was great, but for our wedding was even better if you can imagine! I cannot express how amazing my cake was and working with Patricia. I will definitely contact her if I have another event!

Patricias team created a beautiful cake for my grandmothers 100th birthday. My sister searched for someone who could make her vision and Patricia delivered. It was a beautiful focal point at the party and fed 25 people! Everyone complemented on the great natural taste of the cake. Just great ingredients. Thanks again Patricia!

The store is impeccably kept and the staff are very friendly ad accommodating to any request you may have.
