Best in the hood!

I went tonight and picked up 2 pizza s. The pizza s were a little off, I called to ask about the crust as it had an odd aftertaste and perhaps had a little too much yeast. I am wondering if it was a one off, I just don t want to risk having another bad experience. I like to support our local restaurants, and hope it was only me with a bad experience.

We tried the Calabrese, Margherita, arancini, and cannoli. I can say they were perfect! The pizza was so close to what you d get in Italy. My favorite dessert is cannoli, and theirs was fantastic. The price is reasonable. I will definitely order from here again.

Best pizza in Toronto

I have come here a few times, but this time was the worst. The owner acted like a spoiled little baby, treated his staff unprofessional and then asked me why I wanted a certain dish that way and I said this is how my daughter wants it and scuffed at me. Good pizza buy nit worth the disrespect owner has with people. Tiataly has changed me. You can eat upur pizza I will eat at crudo from now on.

I love Capi s! I get it all the time. The pizza is fantastic, the dough tastes amazing. The Roni is so good. The sandwiches are great, too!

Pizza like my mom used to make

I basically never leave reviews unless unprompted but I had to today. Ordered 2 pizzas from this place for lunch at work today and the roni blew me away. It was fantastic. Perfect combo of flavour

This is hands down the best authentic Italian pizza I ve had, outside of Italy of course. And the hot honey sauce I swear enhances every single pizza!

Ordered capis for the first time tonight and glad I did. The venti roni was amazing. There are many good pizza joints in the west end, but I think this is my new favourite. Looking forward to trying their other dishes.

Dough very little flavour. I can tell by the way the the dough cooked it was not freshly made. Fresh dough has much better texture than this, it was clearly previously frozen. Definitely better pizza options out there in the neighborhood. Not worth the price.

I rarely ever write reviews but I was eager to write this one. This place is a gem. Deserves to be considered one of the best pizzas in Toronto. Good, light dough. Thin crust. Good quality toppings. Had the Calabrese and Tartufata and both were great. Mike the chef/owner is very friendly too. Definitely will be back for more!

I tried out Capi s on Uber Eats on a whim and I was not disappointed! So glad I discovered this hidden gem. The pizza is absolutely amazing.. tastes like authentic italian pizza. I m obsessed I wish they were open on Sunday!

I ordered their Roni pizza! I wasn t sure how the honey would taste on it but it was mind blowing, perfect texture and light! I had to call them and let them know how good it was! Do not skip this pizza joint!

This place has the best pizza not just in the west end but all GTA. Mike the owner has been tossing pizzas for over 20 years!! And it deff shows. Do yourself and your taste buds a favour and stop by this place, it wont disappoint.

This little spot located on Dundas is incredibly delicious and authentic. They make the dough for the pizzas and sandwiches in house and oh my is it ever tasty and fresh. I go here all the time for their sandwhiches which are so yummy fresh and well priced. The owner and workers are also so friendly and positive. Great vibes and great food!

We ordered pizza and salad through DoorDash. The pizza is just as yummy as others say - very tasty - but we were surprised by how small it is! Personal size pizza only, and there s only one size. For that, the price is high.

I ordered two party sized pizzas for Super Bowl Sunday - everyone loved them! Both the Roni and the Margarita were hits, they clearly use quality ingredients and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Thanks and will be back!

Probably one of the best pizzas ive had in toronto. We first ordered it from uber eats ... the pizza came cripsy and delicious. Since our first experience we have now ordered multiple times and quality is excellent. My fav is the Roni pizza <3 Owner is also very nice

Attitude sucks, But great pizza. Make sure you call in because it can take upwards to 1/2 hr 1hr for a party size. Parking: Small lot so parking can be a B if people don t park properly.

Legit! San Marzano tomatoes, Semolina flour from Italy and authentic recipes. Crispy thin crust as close to youll get without flying to Italy. Love the Roni, Calabrese with Nduja and dont sleep on the Calzones

Tried the Calabrese gourmet pizza for the first time and found the flavors a perfect match. Capis Pizza is a small family owned business thats located at 4247 Dundas St. W in the Etobicoke area that packs a big punch for a small place. Friendly atmosphere and tasty authentic Italian food; Would definitely recommend to anyone giving it a try....you wont be disappointed! A new fan of Capis.

We tried Capi s tonight for the first time and it was fantastic! The pizza was wonderfully thin and crispy and the flavours were delicious. We topped it off with their homemade Tiramisu and it too was scrumptious! Best pizza in town!

Today, around 19, we were heading to a pizza place in the junction,but I saw Capis and we decided to turn around and try it. To begin with, the service is amazing, the owner is a delight and the pizzas we ordered were amazing. We took two of the small ones, one pepperoni with green olives for the baby and I forgot the one for us, it was artichoke, black olives, mushrooms and prosciutto....every was so so tasty, and the dough, I could eat it by itself dippen in olive oil. We will be definitely coming back to try more items.

My son and I go on regular pizza trips to Toronto and this spot has been on are radar for some time . I loved how cool the spot was custom service was great and I really liked how you could see the food being prepared. Everything was very clean and well presented. We got two margarita squares and really did not enjoy them . Parking right outside was a plus Vegetarian options: The Margherita Square was cut with the same pizza cutter as the pepperoni square so as a vegetarian that s not a good option. Transfer of oil from the pepperoni is not cool . Constructive criticism not complaining. Parking: Parking right outside

The pizza is excellent. Its thin, crispy and perfectly dressed. The seasoning of the dough and sauce is on point. Their pizza is, quite frankly, better than what is often recommended by Torontos supposed pizza afficinados. As well, Capis prices are far more reasonable than what is charged at other pizza shops. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend Capis for those who want authentic Neopolitan style pizza.

One word- delicious! Their Roni pizza is a definite must try. I do also recommend their garlic dipping sauce and the hot honey. Add a light drizzle of the hot honey to the crust- perfection!

Roni is outstanding. Chef is honouring the Etobicoke institution that is Capi s.

Decided to try Capi s after reading about how much locals love their pizza. Ordered the Pinco Palino - mortadella, and burrata sprinkled with pistachios. It was absolutely amazing! I drizzled it with their hot honey and couldn t believe how it could get even better. Definitely going back for more.

Capis is definitely one of the best pizza places I have ever been to and is certainly among the best in the city! The food is simply outstanding. The ingredients are fresh. The menu is authentic yet creative. Mike, the owner is a pleasure to deal with and takes great care in his craft. I was fortunate enough to stop by on a day when they had made fresh porketta sandwiches and they were delicious. I highly recommend Capis!

I ve ordered here many times and have never been disappointed. The Prosciutto Arugula Pizza is my fav! My parents visited in the Fall and I suggested we order in from Capi s since it s down the street from my condo, and they never get to eat real Italian pizza. They LOVED it, and my mom who is a dessert lover said the Cannoli s were the best she s had!

Capis is the place to go for eat in or take out! Their pizzas and salads are excellent as well. We also have picked up the take out lasagna and it was fantastic. Fed 8 of us. Staff was super friendly!

Mikes pizzas are great. Our office is filled with professional wine critics who critique wine and food for a living. They are a fickle bunch when it comes to wine and food. They love Capis. It is our go to office pizza and we order it in regularly to compliment our tastings.

I have a refined taste of very few foods, but Pizza is one of them. This place is perhaps the best pizza that Ive had in Toronto, if its not anywhere else. Thank you Capis.

Used to have Capis every Tuesday when they had their 20% off Ventis Roni pizza. They discontinued the special so I havent ordered since. Shame because our family liked the Capi Tuesday Pizza Tradition. I understand the cost of doing business but a pizza is literally 5$ worth of ingredients to make. Youre selling it at almost a 75% mark up. You can take this feedback as trolling but I would suggest you take it as honest feedback that youre pricing is starting to become unreasonable to the common customer. You claim your venti is 32$, thats the price for dough, cheese and sauce. Last time I got a venti roni it came to 42$. There is no reason a large pizza is close to 50$. You keep bringing up that I leave my real name on reviews like you are threatening me? Is that standard practice at Capis? To threaten long time customers because they are trying to voice their opinion and give feedback? Maybe think about what you say before you say it.

Terrible restaurant and absolutely no mutual respect. Very unprofessional people working especially that one guy, if you know what I mean! I would have given a negative star if that was an option. Please go further east on Dundas for much better pizzerias and restaurants in general and much better customer service.

Capi s pizza is delicious, authentic and highly recommended. Anyone who wants to try wonderful freshly made pizza with top quality ingredients should definitely come to Capi s. Having grown up in the neighbourhood and knowing the original Capi s, there is a touch of nostalgia associated with the restaurant. The new owner, since 2020, has brought back delicious pizza guaranteed to please one and all. My husband and brother are fans too. Don t forget that Saturday is porchetta day and is equally as good as the pizza! Well done Capi s!!! Forever a fan.

Great pizza and service!

Capi s catered my Dad s 85 th BD party and we special ordered Penne Pasta Ragu, Caesar Salad and a Custom Parry Size Pizza to feed 8. So Delicious and Mike was amazing at catering to all our requests. Not only great food, but great service. Can t wait to try more of his delicious pizzas. So Happy to have found this place!

Stopped by on a whim and I sat down and appreciated the ambience, delicious pizza, courteous service and overall wonderful experience, spoke with the owner, very nice man, had his family in and you could tell he was just a good honest character, it s time Toronto found out about this place, absolute hidden gem. First place in awhile I had with authentic pizza. I m still amazed about the fact that people can eat pizza and feel fine. Capi s is one of these places that provides that. Service and the owner are very kind. Would recommend and will return again

Really good pizza and friendly dine-in service!

This was my first time trying Capis Pizza since the original owner left years ago. The pizza was really quite good, made quickly and great ingredients, however, it wasnt what I ordered. Ive ordered the same pizza with the same toppings for more that 20 years (because thats what I like) and this time it was missing a few toppings, when I pointed that out to the owner, he told me that those items were not on the order sheet, and the person who took the order told me that I didnt ask for them. I understand that no-one wants to admit making a mistake but HEY, its just a pizza (not anyones life) just say sorry, I dont recall those toppings being mentioned, add them to the pizza and BOOM, youre done. In any case, this wont be my last time trying them, but next time Ill make sure I ask them to REPEAT my order.

The Tartufata is my favorite pizza of all time I have decided. I keep coming back for it!

Pretty shocked, this was great pizza (Roni), Caesar salad and cannoli I have ever had this side of the Atlantic! I am ordering now every month!

We ordered lasagna and pizza for our family for new years eve. The lasagna was one of the best tasting I have ever tried, and truly reminded me of my trip to Italy, very authentic. My only comment was that it took longer than directed to make, but definitely worth the wait! Pizza was delicious and the sauce and dough set this place aside from the competition. The owner also took the time to answer me questions. You can see the pride behind the food and for good reason. We will definitely be coming back.

Placed our first order last night at the new Capis. Two pizzas - both were delicious. Very different than the old Capis but excellent in their own right. Great crust and toppings. Also, we forgot cheese on one (our custom order) and Capis called to make sure thats what we meant to do - so that was great customer service. Definitely will keep ordering.

Authentic, artisan style Italian pizza made with fresh, high quality ingredients and a light airy pizza crust like no other! You will inhale your pizza. Absolutely delicious! Mike puts alot of pride & effort into all his creations. We ordered a napoletana and pastore pizza. It was really good! It tastes like authentic Italian pizza. We highly recommend this place! Will for sure order from here again.

A good friend told me about the new owners at Capis Pizza and insisted that I had to try it. So we ordered two pizza for dinner that night and were not disappointed. The pizza were excellant and we were met with a very friendly staff when I went to pick our order up. Capis will definitely be seeing us again soon. It is now our go-to pizza shop in the neighbourhood.

Tried for the first time tonight. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. We tried the Proscuitto Funghi. Nice and Garlicy. Also the Hawaiian which had fresh pineapple on it. We will definitely be back to try some other items from the menu.

Had Capis this evening for Dinner. Mike and his team were very friendly, even though it was a very busy Friday night with a lot of take out and skip the dishes orders. After trying their delicious pizzas, I completely understand why they were so busy. A hidden gem in Etobicoke. Fantastic authentic taste, loved the hot peppers that we ordered on the side, and excellent attention to detail. We will be back for sure... and soon! A must try!

A friend passed on an article on Mike and Capi s and I m so glad that she did. I visited right after reading it and have become a steady regular ever since. Mike is passionate about his craft and it shows in the dishes that he prepares. We ve become addicted to his pizze and share the good news with everyone we know. As a former restauranteur and industry professional I see a great and bright future for the resurrected Capi s and look forward to witnessing this venture grow. Trust me when I say, try it once and you ll be hooked!

Great quality,, great flavour, great customer service. We tried the American, the Roni, the Calzone, the insalata mista, the olives and the lupini. Oh, and I ordered two pizza doughs. Looking forward to making a pita with it. That s how good their dough is. We were not disappointed with any of it. We truly appreciate how hard this owner has worked to create truly authentic Italian pizza and food. And he s very particular about using the finest Italian ingredients...and it shows. I have an issue with gluten and the Italian flour they use was very gentle on my tummy. Delizioso! Bravo & Thank you Capi s!

Mouthwatering pizza

This place has one of the best authentic pizzas in Toronto. Don t be fooled by the modest appearance, this is a little gem. A friend from work recommended and we are not disappointed. It is worth the 35 mins drive. It is going to be our regular spot as my kids love it too. You gotta try Cannolis here, so fresh and yummy not super sweet.

Such amazing pizza. The new owner Mike works with best ingredients and makes all the pizzas with lots of love and am incredible super thin crust. Love the Hawaiian and the pics with artichokes, olives mushrooms and pershitto.

Absolutely amazing. So far Ive had two pizzas and the porchetta special and Im blown away by how good everything is. Capis came highly recommended so I had to make a stop across town and try the pizza. Yum! Decided to get a lasagna too and loved the quality and the old school authenticity. The lasagna makes a great Christmas gift or social/party dish (once were out of COVID) because they can also sell them to you frozen to cook in your own oven at home. I have a family full of picky eaters. Got four different flavors for my birthday this past weekend and everybody raved about how delicious they all were, multiple times. Even my Nonno who doesnt say much made a point to come tell me the pizza was really good. Also, get the lupini. Super yummy, a must have!!!
