Romi's in Etobicoke

Awesome food. Very delicious.

Romi is one of our favourite eat in spots on Bloor. This time we ordered take out pizzas for 20 people at a family gathering. We ordered a variety of toppings on five pizzas with the help of staff to get lots of variety and enough slices to feed everyone. We picked up piping hot pizzas at the scheduled time. All the boxes were labeled with the contents. All the pizzas were delicious and received rave reviews from all the fam. Huge thank you to the staff and Romi.

Went in. Ate an amazing pizza. Had a problem with my phone and couldnt pay. The owner put the meal on the house out of kindness. Anything less than 5 stars would not do this place justice.

I been buying pizza from Romis since 1984 . Is this pizza is than to perfection. Romis is different that your franchise pizza, is made the way Italian pizza is made . Thank you Romis pizzeria.

Amazing takeout pizza-we had the Sorrento. Loaded with toppings. Crispy crust. On time. Never had better! The medium could certainly feed 4.

After I drove 30 minutes on Saturday after noon to try there food, they just told me its private today we cant serve you and I was asking for takeout If its private I expect you include that on your website

The food and service are great. However....they advertise 11pm close on their website, and 930pm close on google. Yet they frequently close at 8pm or shortly after. Stop wasting peoples time and set some consistent hours.

If you haven t been you have to try it ! awesome food I had the pizza and pasta and the server Shelly or Shelby or whatever was really friendly, professional and top notch service

Excellent restaurant that one ought to try! In this day and age, where I find the majority of Toronto restaurants largely OVERPRICED, I was looking for an Italian restaurant close to home and found Romi`s through an online search. Went to lunch with my wife and daughter and we loved the food. Great pizza and my pasta al forno were simple excellent. Great service from a very nice gentleman! Definitely would recommend it. Great food at reasonable prices. I was looking for a cantina close to home! I found it! Hope you shall enjoy it as much as we did!

An old style family run italian fare with pizzas , standard fare of pastas and entrees. Selective menu. We had The Tilapia alla Toscana and Chicken Alfredo. Both were very well made. The Tilapia was exquisite and the Alfredo was an old style recipe delightful on a cold day. Definitely worth a try

Stopped in for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful spot and the food was amazing. Focaccia bread was scrumptious. Very friendly service as well. Will definitely return!

It s like chewing on a foot

I took my mom here for the first time to try for lunch! Service was excellent! We ordered the Caprese Salad and had a half mushroom half pineapple pizza and the food was good too. No complaints! I decided to try the pasta on another day as take out, it was made quickly and it wasn t bad either! You also get a good portion for the price you pay. I wouldn t mind coming back here!

absolutely amazing food and service!!! my friend and i randomly discovered this place when i had an intense pasta craving a few months back and it has been our absolute favourite since!!! amazing food and kind service!!! we ve actually only ever ordered takeout and it s always 11/10 i m sure eating in restaurant is even better! when i asked for some extra garlic butter on my cheesy garlic bread they happily obliged and it was amazing! highly recommend for some yummy dishes - their rose sauce is chefs kiss

Best pie in town

Stumbled upon Romis during the community Halloween trick or treat for kids and they were giving out pizza samples. I have been hooked ever since! Simply amazing! Can t wait to run through the entire menu.

Absolutely stellar pizza! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The cheese blend was divine, creating a mouthwatering experience. Quick service and a cozy atmosphere made for a delightful dining experience. Ill definitely be coming back for more!

Amazing Italian food at great prices! I ve eaten here many times over the years and everything has always been delicious. The food is fresh and authentic and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend giving Romi s a try if you re ever in the Royal York and Bloor area!

We held my son s baptism here on the weekend and working with Sab throughout the entire planning process was a dream. He always made himself available to take my calls and to answer all my questions, and always offered great suggestions for the lunch. The food was amazing and the entire lunch went smoothly. The calamari were cooked perfectly and come with two tasty sauces, the penne a la vodka was delicious and the veal parm, chicken limone and salmon were all excellent. We had so many compliments about the food and wonderful service. Never once did Sab try to upsell us and even suggested we slim down our menu. He is genuine and amazing to deal with and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. I can t recommend this place enough, for events or even just for dinner. We are fairly new to the area but will be going to Romi s from now on whenever we want authentic Italian food.

Service was excellent. We made an order for take out but the weather was so nice we asked to stay they allowed us and they were so kind, the food was delicious and freshly made with fresh toppings. I will definitely come back to dine in to try the pasta. the pizza was great and refreshing.

The food was Fantastic, and the staff were all amazing, special shout out to Sab who was just wonderful. Everyone in our party commented on how great the food tasted and made sure to leave with a take-out menu in hand. We will definitely be coming back for future celebrations or just a night out. Also, will definitely be ordering pizza, as it was awesome.

2 years ago we had the most delicious meal at Romi s but this time around the food was very basic and not as flavourful. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and veal parmesan. Unfortunately, I don t think we ll be returning.

My regular go-to place in The Kingsway for a comfort food dinner. Offering a wide range of delicious Italian dishes in a relaxed setting. Romi s Special is my favourite pizza in the entire city. Sab is always there, preparing excellent meals, and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Absolutely amazing, had the Rose fettucini and i was floored. Service was impeccable also. Youve got to try this place out, its well worth it!

Been ordering Romis take-out delicious pizza for many, many years, and they never disappoint! They use great tasting ingredients and their crust is so good! Not greasy like the big pizza chains out there and we are proud to support a small business with a big heart!

Ordered a large Sorrento pizza for pick-up. The pizza tasted flat, not much sauce and the toppings were stuck together in clumps. The sausage looked like cheap pepperoni that you would find in one of those lunchables kids snacks. Wont be back.

Enjoyed an evening meal with two friends. They had two delicious looking pizzas. My chicken was perfect, as were the vegetables. A great Italian restaurant.

A Kingsway staple for pizza. But also have great specials and entrees as well for a quick and easy dinner out. Friendly staff and caring owners. There certainly is better pizza out there, even now in south Etobicoke but this is close and predictable. Nice to have a neighborhood filled with great restaurants that have been part of the Kigsway for decades.

Romis has been one of my go-to take-out pizza places since 1992. The pizza now is even better than it was when they were only a few doors away in Berry Road Plaza (and it was consistently excellent back then too). I have to get in my car and drive to pick-up now, but it is well worth the short journey. Consistent top notch quality pizza and ready for pick-up when promised. Highly recommended.

Romis makes the best pizza in Toronto! I will admit that Im biased as I have been enjoying their food since I could walk.

The food from this place never stops the blow my mind. I love their pizzas, I love their wings. Now I love their meatball sandwich. Can t find one thing that I don t love here. Best food. Highly recommend to everyone! If I could give 10 stars, I would.

The restaurant had a very cozy vibe. Food was very well priced and tasted very good. The dough was cooked with right texture and cheese was very good n didnt taste too strong . I had a vegetarian pizza. Next time when visit Toronto will try their pasta.

Went there a few weeks back but havent written a restaurant review until I had their pizza (my first time was just a lasagna). Pizza tasted pretty good, lasagna was excellent. I would easily recommend this over any franchise pizza spot, as those would never get over 3.5 stars in my opinion. Check it out if your in the area, dont have anything bad to say. Food was good, staff are friendly.

What a great family restaurant... hidden gem. Fresh and made to order so dont be in a rush. So lucky to have found this place while on holiday.

We shared the excellent fresh calamari!! Wonderful. The special of gnocchi with cream dill sauce was giant and yummy. This restaurant is not to be missed. Excellent service.

I love their pastas it taste great. I have not tried other things on their menu but I am sure it taste excellent because this place is alway busy with customers and its always packed with diners. I dined their once and it was a great experience I had the veal with pasta dinner. It was so good the only negeative thing is their quality of meat is mediocre. If you like pastas,pizza its a great choice.

I pretty much only have experience with their Pizza but let me say it is amazing. I usually go for the Large 3-Topping Take Out Pizza deal which is a pretty large pizza. Maybe my favorite thing about the pizza is the toppings, they always taste high quality and fresh. Definitely my favorite pizza in area and would highly recommend over any chain pizza.

Great food

The food was excellent but one of the staff treated us like second class citizens. I am not sure if it is because of the skin colour of the people I was with or the fact that they were (well behaved) children. Either way, the optics dont look good. I went to this restaurant on Friday, which was a PD day for most schools. I was there with 4 mixed race children (two half Vietnamese, two black) and a baby. It was lunch time. A mother and son were sitting at a table by the window. Otherwise, the restaurant was completely empty. The staff member (possibly the owner) suggested we sit at a table in the very back corner of the restaurant. I thought it was strange considering the restaurant was empty. I said I wanted to sit closer to the window. The children sat at the table by the window, much to her chagrin. I thought they would want us at the window so people would see they had clients and want to come in. The children asked to move because that table got too hot. Again, the staff member said, I had this table for you, and tried to lead me to the back corner. I said, We want to sit at this table, closer to the window. It is dark in the back, which was close to the window but not in the sun. She did say, The children are closer to you now, but at no point did she make us feel welcome. Two more couples came in, sat at the window table and later moved seats because it was too hot. Nobody else was asked to sit at the very back table or anywhere close to the back. Admittedly, the tables we were at could not fit all of us, but I was right beside the children and they could have easily moved the table for 4 to attach it to my table for two. There were also closer options than the very back table that would have fit all of us. At one point, I asked my waitress if that lady was trying to hide us because it sure felt like she was. I thought it was because they were children,but someone else suggested to me that it was likely because two of them were black children. Had I realized that, I would have left instead of giving them my business. In all fairness, my waitress was very kind, but nobody thanked us or offered to help me open the door to get the baby stroller out. I felt like the owner (or whoever she was), was relieved when we left. Judging from the reviews of how great this place is with children, I fear that being asked to move to the very back was unrelated to their age, but was sadly related to their race.

I work in the area and was getting tired of eating Subway for lunch. Did a quick search and found Romis, Ordered by phone by pick up and it was a pleasant experience. No issues. Food was warm and tasted great. I would 100% come here for lunch again!

The food was good .... I had called just to inquire about if they had desserts. the gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful he recommended very good choices. I enjoyed the lasagna it was a bit salty, lots of meat and not enough layers for the price. The pizza was very good I dont usually like pizza but would definitely try it again. The delivery was a okay wait time. I give this restaurant a passing grade but not perfect.

Great Italian food, no nonsense just good quality food and service. The decor is a bit rustic and it would be nice if they would pick up the phone every now and then. Overall the food is worth the trip.
