Had the half rib meal . Beats any other restaurant ,really!! The ribs were actually candied and not painted . Love the ribs , and the server was sweet as well.

Food is gross. Staff is rude. Plenty of other bars on the street that are so much better.

19 dollars for a pound of wings!!! Ahahhahahaha are these people in the twilight zone? Got a burger instead, seemed like it was cooked last week, grey and dry as the Sahara. How dare they charge these prices and expect a tip of 30%!? This is getting out of hand. Won t be seeing me there again.

I was waiting at the front to be seated as stated, never got approached. I then went up to a server and she was already telling me she s busy when the hole place is empty, instead of telling to sit where ever. I waited over 5 mins just to order a beer. It was clear I was being engorged never coming back.

Awesome burgers and they have a dartboard! Very close to the subway so a great way to go out and not worry about driving home.

Love this place, very lively and fun. Even though there were no late night food options - chef called out, drinks were great.

This is a great neighbourhood pub - bright and airy. It has a traditional but extensive pub menu, but also some healthy options. The extensive beer menu includes some good IPAs. The service is prompt and friendly. The prices are reasonable. In the summer, there is a nice little patio out front. Try it; you will like it.

Very spacious for a TO pub. Plenty of seating at the bar and were able to accommodate our party of 40-50 people. Food was better than pub food with lots of options. Took way too long for orders given we called and made reservations, but there were quite a few of us. Pool table was fun to play while we visited.

Ive been here a few times over the last year or so, because its sometimes just the most convenient option - but I never seek it out. This is the most unremarkable pub Ive ever been to. Its fine, I guess. Service is usually pretty slow, but not unfriendly. Food is average - uninspired, but not offensive. The Squire is.... there? Thats about it.

By far my most Togo place for great ambience and good food. Open till 2am most days.

I went here for lunch. Ordered their chicken pot pie. They should have called it pea pie as it was loaded with peas. The pie was very dry and came with beef gravy. Absolutely terrible!!! Service was exceptionally slow despite hardly anyone in the restaurant.

This is the second time I go here for dinner and the food is delicious! 5 years ago I went with a friend and ordered a vegetarian sandwich and it was very good. Im in this area often but have been meaning to go back. I had a chance yesterday. I ordered off menu because I was craving a BLT. It was good....perfect! Bacon was well cooked, nice and crispy. They put enought bacon in it as well. Some places put 2 slices and you can barely taste it. I also ordered a small beet salad. I need the recipe. It was good. I thought i would eat half but I ended up eaging it all. Their long island ices tea was pretty good as well. Fiancee ordered the Firkin Burger. To start it looked good enough to be in a commercial. Im disappointed that I didnt take pictures. It had onion rings on top of the burger. They were nice and crispy. The samdwich was a hit. The waitor/waitreas didnt come and check on us. They took our order, dropped off the food then came to clear the table and give us the bill. When they dropped off the food the waitor asked if we needed anything else. They were very nice.

Great fish and chips! Friendly and attentive server who was efficient and detail-oriented. However, she was overworked; restaurant seemed understaffed for a Saturday night. Friend told me he called a few days ahead and told them he would be bringing in a group of 20+ people for a Ukrainian Festival after-party, and the person he spoke to on the phone had an attitude of Yeah, whatever.... But, the server was much better than the one we had a year ago after the Ukrainian Festival, who took 20-30 minutes to bring us our checks and then proceeded to add a 20% tip to our bills without our consent. Overall, looking forward to coming back next near!

Standard pub atmosphere! Felt clean and kept and that s all you really want at a pub, good vibes. Service felt a little off, with frequent items missed (utensils, drinks) on seperate occasions, mixed with a long wait at an otherwise unbusy time. Overall not bad just needs a little improvement!

If you re sitting outside there s a high possibility that you wouldn t get the waitress attention soon as you think. Food was not the best and fried foods tastes like it was cooked in old oil. Went there, sat outside for 15-20 minutes before I got noticed. This is an honest review and I m not trying to bash the restaurant but the customer service is awful.

Nachos were great. Im pretty sure our server forgot she had a (single) table deciding to hang out at the bar chitchatting with other people. I would have stuck around for a couple more beer .. But after being ignored for so long, I just needed the check. Terrible experience.

Every few months, high school chums gather and enjoy each others company. We catch up on our lives and share our achievements and/or disappointments. We enjoy the atmosphere at Squire & Firken....we have our corner of the establishment to hang out. Looking forward to many more gatherings there.

I dont come here often, but when I do, the environment is always welcoming. Best place to go when you dont know whats open late as they always follow their advertised hours.. 5 Stars!!! Thank you

The woman serving us had a serious attitude problem. When we asked her questions about the menu, she actually rolled her eyes at us and stormed off. She didnt seem to care much. Fortunately, a man started serving us halfway through our visit, and he seemed to try and was pleasant. The food was alright; I had a burger and salad.

Friendly staff, intimate dining, not too loud. Great background music. The food was very good and the portions were very big.

Sheppards Pie is off the charts (good) Nice neighborhood hangout place and great spot to watch the game and have a Pint or two. Ordered takeout last night as everything is closed down due to covid. I have ordered take out from everywhere as I believe we need to support our local businesses so they can get through this and they are there for us to enjoy when we get to the other side of this. NEVER and I mean NEVER have I used an online order app that was so user friendly and that made the entire process so easy. Ordered the Fish and Chips and they did not disappoint! Keep up the good work!

Very famous pub in the locality and great to hang out with friends for a game night. They have a good menu and beverage collection. Was very busy during the super bowl. Best to visit in weekends.

Very poor attitude and service

This pub always plays the best music! The owner is great and very hospitable. The servers are fantastic. They have amazing food and great happy hour specials. Rita was our server and she was spectacular! Always a great time at the firkin. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Definitely try the Firkin burger when here!

Stopped in for a beer on a beautiful hot sunny Sunday and was greeted with great service but also a very nice COLD pint off the tap ! The Mrs also had a very nice cold steam whistle complimented with a nice frozen glass! Finally a place that understands beer etiquette especially on a hot day ! Great service , we were always checked on. Will be returning!

I have been to this location a few times with friends for lunch and drinks! Great food, great ambience! But the best is Mohan, Manager, who is extremely friendly and very courteous! He always puts a smile on your face!

Good place with nice ambiance. Patio sitting is spacious and comfortable. Great drinks and amazing drinks. The only negative is small portions. I ordered bang bang shrimps for $15 and got just 5 shrimps.

Mostly okay with servers being not sure who can serve and who should serve your table. This can result in delay in taking your orders and subsequent services.

Before parking the car and coming in we asked if they allowed our dog on the outside patio, they said yes. Then after a ten minute wait for service, and then placing our order, we were told that no, actually dogs not allowed... but they are working on it...

Food was ok, service was slow, tables had no distance between them. Ordered a mushroom melt under the burger/sandwich and thought it was a burger but it was a sandwich. Menu is not very clear and it is on line. Neat idea but not easy to read on your phone.

We had an event here for the Canadian Arabic Orchestra, the food was good the service was amazing shout out to Ryan, Joanne and all the beautiful staff who helped make our evening memorable.

Perfect delicious dishes 2 orders of fish & chips & BLT sandwich with side Ceasar Salad only thing was they forgot my drinks? No water, no root beer! Why I gave them 4 you messed up my order.

Not impressed at all, had a glass of wine that tasted like rubbing alcohol and got super sick the next day from the one glass I drank. I asked around about this place and apparently its known with wine and liquor that the staff drinks it and replaces it with God knows what, a huge cause for concern and contemplating on calling liquor inspector to do a full check on their alcohol inventory

Great ambience. Awesome cocktails. Pleasant service. Loved the food too! In particular, definitely try their baked penne with mushroom and spinach. There is a GreenP parking lot literally 4 minutes away which costs $6 after 7pm.

Despite of new rules that should be in affect only today, they stopped serving at 11PM last night. Moreover they started harassing customers to finish drinks soon after 11, it didnt feel right!

I recently went to this location for a bite to eat for lunch with a friend. There was no server or greeter to seat us though we waited for several minutes. We walked through the front door to see if anyone was available to seat us and provide us with menus and was met with a very rude and hostile female server. She made no attempt to greet us and told us that we shouldnt be inside and that she is only one server and only has two hands. Her hostility caught us off guard and needless to say we did not patronize this establishment and will not be returning any time soon.
