Cute and bubbly bartenders. Pool table, great wings and cold beer. I had a great time and have no complaints. A great local pub. Food : 5/5

This place is a perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. It may not look appealing, but the food here is very delicious. We have yet to have a meal that we did not enjoy. The portions are great, and price, even better.

A pleasant place with a great menu. Cant go wrong with any selection. Filled with a lively atmosphere and personable staff.

I didnt enjoy my experiences here. I find this is a small location & certain establishments have a hard time with newer clientele. Meaning I think the management and the staff do a good job but I paid for beer and they tried to put me in a taxi and I lost my telephone. Id like to say that I look forward to better experiences here but despite the hard-working staff and staff I didnt like the vibes here. Probably not the worst place but its small, places like this are awkward because of regulars who think that they own the place. Hope people will remember to be light-hearted when it comes to running a bar. Honestly hard to drink in places where people are uptight.

Great place to eat ,drink and have a few laughs.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Wings are a bit over fried and salty. Steak special was done to perfect temperature but not the grade beef youd expect. Some seats needs a bit of renovation.

Service was awesome excellent atmosphere. Wings were small for the price, compared to other pubs not a lot of fries.

Junky but nice

Always love coming to red Cardinal. Its an older bar but the food always hits the spot, they have a decent beer selection and the service is always top tier. Also love the decent pricing on everything and theres always something on special depending on the day. If youre looking for a laid back spot to grab a bit, Id come here.

The food is amazing. I liked their fish and chips in particular. The staff were very friendly. The food was made and brought to the table speedily. I would happily go again.

I have been to this place only a few times in the evening and it is a DUMP. I have been served by some bartender who is always drinking on the job and has a habit of overcharging or overserving the customers. The customers are all drunk all the time and they are not friendly to anyone new. Lots of creepy old men there who are lonely and will do anything to try and talk to you if your a woman. The food is ok. last time i was there the drunk bartender on the evening shift overcharged us by $70 and then told us we ordered those drinks but we didnt. I dont understand what type of place allows for bartenders to drink on the job and serve people. Management is ok. i think they are relying on the regular people for there profit because anyone new will leave after a few times. i also heard there is always a fight that happens there and the parking lot is very unsafe. lots of drug addicts outside. there is also people doing drugs in the bathrooms but managment doesnt barr those people since they are bringing in more money. maybe the daytime is different but night as a woman is very unsafe and not welcoming. will not return to this place.

Calm and relaxing

I was there just now. I had 2 Corona beers and the lady I was with, she had 3. I said that I wanted to pay for my own a couple times, even the other customers heard me but I got charged for the whole 5. I didnt realise this at the time. The bill doesnt break down the cost. And I trusted her with the pricing The machine was saying $19 for a beer. 2 beers were $38 and I paid $40 with tax. I thought that I was fine. Then I checked their website and cost of a beer was a lot less. Then I called the restaurant to ask about it. I was told by a lady that I had asked for the whole bill. Complete lie. On top of that she yelled at me at phone when I expressed my concern. I am highly disappointed

There are not many of these bar type saloons anymore . Shame

Needs a refresh after Covid. Neighbourhood pub needs to cater to Payers Not Players.

I would give 6 stars if I could. The Red Cardinal is an Excellent pub in Etobicoke. The staff are friendly, hard working and always attentive. The pub always has a wide selection of drinks available at reasonable prices. The food is delicious and always fresh. The restrooms are spotless clean. I would recommend the Red Cardinal to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing place to kick back for a cold drink.

Having ordered takeout from here twice before, I knew the food would be amazing and was interested to see how the dine in experience would be. The atmosphere is decent as I feel the interior is a tad bit outdated so if youre dining in, its definitely a much better option and experience to sit on the patio if possible. Service was top notch as the staff was friendly and attentive. Their menu is pretty good as it has a variety of options but isnt too overwhelming. I ended getting the Red Cardinal Burger for $15.95 which was by far the best burger Ive tasted in my entire life! It was prepared very quickly, within 10-15 mins in which we were provided with water and condiments before hand. The burger was extremely juicy and flavorful and the fries/onion rings were perfection. Its pretty much expected to receive high quality food from here which is further backed up by my prior two takeout orders being 10/10. All in all, this place is definitely worth trying just for the food alone. Whether you dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed!

Drug addiction day time waitress, rude..not worth the while. East Mall has state & main plus scruphys with 100times better service and no microwaved foods.

The staff here has always been friendly and the food is quick, consistent, and delicious. My favourite things to order from here are the cajun chicken wrap and the chicken souvlaki special (only offered on some days).

This place is a hidden gem! Just had take out and it was fabulous! The food was perfect, and it was still hot when we got home! During these hard times we are going out of our way to support local, and we will absolutely get take out from here again. Since we cant go out for things like wings at this time, it was so lovely to get wings for take out and still have the same high quality. The young man who took my order was a gem, and the cook even agreed to do a special order for me, and I really appreciate that. All in all my husband and I highly recommend this pub!

Unprofessional at every level

Good service. Bartender is very quick and attentive.

The waitress wasnt wearing a mask and was having a loud argument with one of the other staff about her refusing to wear the mask properly. It made us feel very uncomfortable that safety measures werent being followed. Additionally she was quite rude and short with us and seemed more concerned with her fight than serving us. We were never even offered a menu or anything. I didnt feel very welcome and cant see myself ever returning.

Did you use the very clean washrooms? Or did you just drink water and sit for free? The staff there has been together for a long time and do not believe any of this nonsense! Good menu, lots of variety and the chicken curry was very flavourful. Very reasonable prices. The owner personally introduced himself at our table.

Honestly really good place to go and hangout. Can be alittle loud at times but the food is good so is the music and the staff are friendly and the drinks are great with pretty good prices.

It s a dive bar. But it s what you expect. Cheap drinks, jukebox, pool tables, etc. Friendly staff though. And checked fries for the win! They also serve me breakfast at 10pm!!

Great beer and staff

I ve came to the bar a few times now and have experienced very poor customer service. The staff members use very poor choice of words like as in example as cussing. I live in the area and I ve been by there multiple times just seeing that staff argue with under age customers they are also not being good role models themselves. I m very surprised a few of them still have jobs there. The staff also record the customers without the consent even has recorded me. Very poor bar and I recommend that nobody should be choosing this bar to have a fun night out.

Good place for Mini Pitchers

We came here after being disappointed in the Old Mill Restaurant. Finally, we got some great food at affordable prices! It has been our favourite place to eat for many ears, and the staff is always kind, considerate and professional. They have a good selection of food choices, so there is always something for everyone and every mood.

Honestly a sweet place to be A friend of mine introduced me to this bar and i lived so close for years and never passed by. Now I bring friends and co workers over for drinks.

The fish from our fish and chips was a frozen, crumb- breaded piece. Not a pub style crispy piece like one would expect. The burgers we had were not great, but okay. Fries were not fresh cut. Our server did not smile - he wasnt orrude, just not overly friendly.

Small place but nice people. Lately I have not been happy with the service tho. On Tuesdays the bartender plays dance music way to loud. Just today Tyler charged me for an extra iced tea couse I wanted a bigger glass for my double shot split. I even asked for lots of ice.... that does not mean I got extra iced tea!!!! Not happy! I was ripped off! !! He is young so maybe he doesnt understand communication but I was turned off this place!

Just sitting outside the bar minding my own business with a few friends and was yelled at by a staff member. They were very rude and mouthy. Not a friendly bar at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed, staff friendly, very accommodating, food- best French onion soup, great burger, exceptionally fresh Greek salad, Keyra and Savim (thank you) made our day, my 93 yr young mother had a blast.

This place has become my go to bar in this area. Drinks are not expensive, I like their mini pitcher. Food is good too. Onion rings is my choice everytime! Staff are friendly - Shivam is the best!

Lots of Issues now that it is Not Firkins! Rude n unprofessional staff n service. Wings are premade in any flavour n then dumped on to paying customers in their requested flavour! Can tell, old oil, Dry wings. And asking premium price for Beers n food, which it is not worth.

We went on a Sunday, the place was empty, but after we finish they seemed awful pushy for us to leave right away. Maybe thats why the place was empty to begin with. Bad customer service

Pub restaurant with the usual menu. Fish and chips... fish seems to have been triple battered and triple fried, I would stay away from that one. Beef dip was good, but dripping with the gravy sauce... not a au jus
