Great wings at a great price, specially on Mondays. This is the local pub where the service is friendly and the offerings simple.
We went to this Tavern after seeing it many times as we rode past on the go train. We learned that the place takes cash only and does not run a tab at the bar. It is truly a classic old tavern with an old bar, old tables and chairs and a stage for bands to play. We ordered wings from their restaurant and enjoyed them as well. Great experience and we would definitely go back to enjoy the old tavern atmosphere. We learned that they will be building a condo around it but keeping the tavern.
Building 100+ years old, former train station and hotel. A great neighbourhood pub, friendly staff, not a pick-up joint. :-) Food options are somewhat limited to that of a full restaurant, but possibly the best wings in town (large and sold by pieces, not weight). Good place to watch hockey and other sports (outside of UFC), trivia night I believe is Tuesday's. Bands, karaoke, patio, a great place to go with long time or out of town friends.
We wanted to sit on the patio but the tables were bolted down and the tables could only seat 2. Funny part is that they had four chairs around each table. We were a group of 7 and we were unable to put tables together. This place also only takes cash! SHAME as we wanted to try out the place..they do have pitchers of Goose Island for $21 which isn't bad
If I could give zero stars I would. Stay away from this place. I went here for the first time ever on a recommendation from someone. I was excited as I have heard this place is a staple of Etobicoke. Terrible place. Dirty, dive bar feel. Unfriendly service. Weird system that separates bar from kitchen using only cash. I ordered wings and they were probably the worst chicken wings I have eaten in a long time. Such fat skin, and pure fat inside of them, you can throw up. Poor quality and poor sourcing. There are so many better wing joints to eat in in the area. Don't waste your time, nothing to see here :)
I've been going to "The Goose" for years. Great wings, they are the best I've had. Atmosphere is very friendly and the servers are great. I've enjoyed every meal I've had here, the food is always excellent. It's an awesome place to watch a game, eat a tasty meal, or have a beer with friends. Hands down my favorite bar!
Came here on a night for a friends birthday, and was pleasantly surprised. I had only ever heard of the place and seen the outside, and with my experience with the Mimico area I really don't have high expectations of the bars and restaurants. Service was very good, place was very nice, and the pool table was even better. We even made friends with other people who were there, the crowd that goes there seems very nice.
The wings are great here on their cheap nights. Good selection of beer and other drinks to choose from. Atmosphere is a little dim sometimes because of the lighting; not a huge issue for me but others I was with had issues. Staff are friendly and the food is also good.

The Blue Goose is a treasure bar that should be supported and enjoyed. Always my first choice for a guys night out for beer and sport TV. Wives like it too.
A cozy pub in a historic building at the Mimico GO station. They have a great beer selection and decent pub food. If you are looking for a laid back and relaxed setting to watch a game or listen to some local bands with a group of your buds, look no further. Plenty of parking. CASH ONLY!

Live music playing often, and a nice place to drink some beers. A bit divey, but perfect if thats what youre into :) I have yet to try some food but I will do that next time Im there. I have only heard good things!
Weird set up, beer sold separately from food, have to go to a different area to order & pay. Have to pay for drinks wuth cash right when served, no bill at the end of the night, was cash only. Handy ATM on site. Go figure. Staff was cleaning bar at time we were there, overpowering smell of bleach. Dirty old carpet on the floor, dingy dark setting, got crazy with large group of roudy people pounding back pitchers. Seems to be a local watering hole. Big parking lot, easy access for those with accessibility issues. Trying to think of something positive. Staff were not too friendly but were not rude. Beer was ok, wings were good. There.
Good Music, Good food and good beer. Couldnt ask for a nicer place to enjoy company with friends. Did I mention the live bands that play here? Kick ass!

Middle of the road place. Has potential with the live music if the band decides to play. Cash only place so make sure you come with or use the ATM they have in the corner. The food is passable, meaning you should pass. Drinks are good but a bit in the pricy side. I likely wont go again as there are so many other places to discover in Toronto.

An absolute in the Mimico staple. An excellent place to watch any sports event, play pool, or eat some of the best chicken wings in the city. And excellent place to go after a Mountaineers game as well.

Impressive that it was opened in 1909! Its probably the only pub in Mimico/South Etobicoke, good beer but we didnt like their burger much. I prefer burgers cooked over the fire.

Ive been going to the Goose for over 20 years. Best tavern in the city. Started going originally to listen to the blues performed by a trio called the Pie Guys. They had a great guest performer every week. Anyone who knew the keyboardist and lead singer will always have a place in theyre heart for his huge talent. Rest in peace, Rod. The staff were always friendly and willing to have their ears bent. Kirk was the best. I hope he enjoys his retirement. Karaoke was hosted by a few people over the years but Jeff Smith from Songsmith Karaoke was always the best. The Blue Goose was so often one of the first places to host the actual Stanley Cup when a kid from Toronto (like Brendan Shanahan)was on the winning team. Alas, all good things come to an end. The Goose has been bought from the family that owned it for 60 years and will be closed by the new owners for about a year for major renovations. Well miss that old time, down to earth, rustic bar and the smell of stale beer and smoke and the good times had by all. Heres hoping the new owners retain something of the charm of that place.

Ok place. Foods good but catered to an older crowd. 1 Pool table (occasionally the white ball gets stuck and u have to ask them to fix it).
Pros: good chicken wings. Cons: This place is over priced, cash only, the fire alarms go off repeatedly, washroom is not in good shape and poor customer service.

Ive been going to the Blue Goose for 15 years. Its the perfect bar for a sports teams to visit after a tough night of hockey, softball or volleyball with its laid back atmosphere. As stated in other reviews, it is a dimly lit, cash only establishment but the staff here really takes care of you. Cold beer, appetitizing food, Maple Leafs hockey and Blue Jays baseball are all good reasons to visit the Goose. Make sure to say hi to Judie and Jeff for me....

My favorite wing spot
My neighbourhood bar. Its a dive through and through, but the wings are pretty good. Sports on the big TV and usually classic rock-oriented bar bands playing.
Staff was friendly as well had a good band on stage but only accepts cash and has to be upfront for drinks and food which i find a bit archaic.
Run of the mill selection of brew on tap and the kitchen is a little slow but great atmosphere.

Food is terrible. Ambiance unique at best. Service mediicore. Just dont do it,. It was grim. Dont think its a unique dive bar. Its not. Will never return.
