Traditional Thai dishes, with weekday lunch specials, are served in a casual, comfy setting.
This is the best Thai food restaurant in all of Canada The food is always fresh and always done just prefect. The service is amazing and everyone is super nice and warm. I love this place. They have take out, never had a delay. I know it takes a lot to run it this well. Thank you 🙏
Unfortunately what I ordered was not good. The hot and sour soup tasted more like a beef gravy. It was very unusual. I understand that this type of soup is thick, but it was extremely thick and unenjoyable. The cold spring rolls had a shredded chicken in it that made the overall roll very dry. The mango salad was decent. Everything else was fried spring rolls tasted like stale old oil. I will not be returning back to this restaurant. There are far better Thai restaurants in the neighbourhood along Lakeshore.
Lovely Thai restaurant with friendly service and delicious food! Went for the link special, and asked for my chicken pad Thai to be extra saucy!
We came here late and they made us feel so special, they served us quickly and the food was so fresh and hot and delicious. I have found my new Thai spot in the city. Amazing food and service .
This is a warm & inviting restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly, food came out fresh and every was tasty. The Bua platter gave us a taste of few appetizer items and it was a good amount of food for two plus a main dish. Their khao soi had lots of toppings with a mountain of crispy noodles. Beef was tender and the soup had just right amount of spice and was full of flavour and it wasn’t overly heavy/creamy. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit here. 🫶🏻
Stopped by for lunch on Canada Day. The restaurant wasn't busy and it didn't take long for the food to show up. I have tried different Thai cuisine places before but I was excited to try new dishes this time at BuaThai. The dishes were seasoned just right, not overly spicy or salty, and the food presentation made it even more appealing. Staff are also friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely go back again!
The very best Thai restaurant in Canada!! The chicken coconut soup is the best I have EVER had. The coconut rice is very good too. The curry chicken is amazing!! The banana dessert was lovely ....wish we had ice cream toppings though.. Had enjoyable conversations with the lady (owner) who informed us that it's a family run business and lots of love goes into making the food. The ambiance is beautiful. It's a must visit if you are in that neighborhood.
Been coming here for years, but today was my last time. Went to do an pick up from the back door and was harassed by two Indian men that didn’t even work there. They were friends with one of the employees. And he kept asking me who am I? When I’m clearly there to pickup my food order. The owner and manager were not there and the food was terrible too. Maybe there is a new owner because the food was not tasty at all.
Attentive service in a calming environment. Fresh food by local family members. Food
Great food value and taste! Service is pretty fast and portions are ok. Staff are very friendly and accommodating even if near their closing time (which is at 10pm so another bonus!)
Outstanding food with amazing service! In love with their food and the fact is has to be the cleanest restaurant in the city.
Wonderful Thai restaurant. Friendly staff, delicious food.
Great food and friendly staff. Would recommend without hesitation!
I am so disappointed !!!! I am a regular / almost weekly costumer , and I was there today for half an hour waiting for a table , and a group of Asians come in got a table right away but no reservation as i clearly heard them mention that they should had called and it was full and they had to wait . The waitress come and tells them i have a big table for them. So disappointed. Sibce i was a small group (3) i had to wait even more .... They lost a regular customer.
Wonderful family restaurant. We have been going there for many years. We love their pad thai and all curry dishes.
Food was delicious and staff were very friendly. Food came out fast as well. Will recommend!
We had one of the finest Thai foods in town. Great taste, quality, quantity, and service. Highly recommend this place.
Quickly becoming an addiction, I ve taken out three times this last month. The food is fresh and carefully prepared, the ingredients are high quality. Very tasty. The portions are generous and even though I haven t dined in yet, I would - it s inviting! Very pleasant and friendly service. I plan to try the whole menu!!! The eggplant is absolutely divine.
Mid Pad Thai. Very thin noodles. Very expensive. Meh. Other places nearby have better thai noodles.
My favorite restaurant to go to... Food is phenomenal service is excellent
Loved the food, must try winter rolls.
good thai place... worth checking out
Excellent Thai food, great rice, and nice meat. Absolutely would recommend.
It was nice I ate khao soi My thai friend recommended it It was delicious next time if I could go there I would eat it again happily Also, the thai milk tea was good Food : 5/5 Recommended dishes
Happened to dine here today and was completely blown away, the dishes are so flavourful, the service was fast and the staff was very very warm which elevates your experience further. I would also like to mention that this place is highly highly underrated for the quality of food they serve and mind you prices are very competitive compare to all other places around this area, do try them out and you won t be disappointed.
Good food, great friendly staff!
You cannot go wrong with anything you order. They have the best coconut rice! Have been going here for years. Dine in or take out the service is always great.
A really great little restaurant --warm ambience, great staff and solid menu choices. The food was delicious, and good value for the price. I didnt feel any dishes unexpectedly hit it out of the park --although everything we had was great-- but Im looking forward to coming back to explore the menu and see if theres anything outstanding that I missed! Maybe I just ordered really standard dishes. They do nice things with tofu. I recommend BuaThai, you wont be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options and delicious tofu! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, if the children enjoy Thai food!
I ordered Coconut Soup with Shrimp. They gave me 2 shrimp.
This is the go to spot for thai
Good food in general.
Visited today and really really loved the food. The service was amazing , very friendly and the order came out pretty quick. Highly recommend
Loved the place and food. The flavour was great
Stopped in spontaneously on a Saturday night. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our dinner came out exceedingly quickly and the food was authentic, fresh, and delicious. Water glasses were kept full for the entire meal. Even the bill was prompt when requested. Wish we lived closer because we would be here often!
Randomly driving by and popped in for a quick lunch. Glad I did. Delicious and affordable.
It is one of my best comforts
Great price for lunch, and delicious. Definitely would go back.
Service is excellent here. Quiet and chill place to enjoy your meal. Food is pretty good
Stopped by to pick up lunch for my daughter and me. Patient with me as I made choices (an item my daughter wanted was not available). Many times I have been at this restaurant for lunch with my daughter......they are always helpful, efficient, and pleasant. The food is always delicious!
Very good place to enjoy Thai food
All the food we ordered were delicious and staffs were friendly. We really liked their fish cake and mango sticky rice . Food
Love it
Amazing food. Great flavours, fresh ingredients, prepared by authentic Thai team. Excellent, friendly service. I love all the gluten free, dairy free options. Reasonable prices. Nice ambiance, clean surroundings
Great food and service!
Really disappointed in this place. My friend and I came here for lunch and we started with the appetizer platter.. I m eating the mango salad and noticed that I put my fork through a fly. I called over the waiter, he apologized and took the fork from me. They didn t even try to replace the plate, nor did they even remove off the bill.. even a discount would have been nice. Usually when someone finds something in their plate, from my experience, it is removed from the table. Makes me uneasy about returning back to this restaurant.
Good food and decent portion/prices!
Amazing food, friendly service. Should definitely try lemongrass soup and pad Thai .
visited the store with friends and had a great experience with delicious food and friendly staff. I really liked their house special ginger delight.
Great people. Great food.
High end cuisine
Very good authentic Thai, all the classic dishes. Chicken satay and pad thai was excellent.
Pretty good pad Thai but messed up the order. Otherwise would have given them 4*. We ordered 2 pad Bangkok pad Thai and Thai stir fry. The pad Thai comes with shrimp AND chicken. I thought my request was very clear and as always I only ask if possible. I asked for no shrimp in one, but clearly indicated shrimp in the other one. Even their hand written order to the chefs correctly interpreted it - see photo. However, there was no shrimp to be found. My pregnant wife was very sad. Disappointing.
I had an exceptional dining experience. The menu is well-presented. The furniture is new. The decor is relevant and uses Thai cultural elements. Ihad as a snack the Tom Yum soup and an order of spring rolls. Both were exceptional. Staff is very attentive. Ambiance is peaceful, no loud music and warm lighting is pleasant. Such a humble and unpretentious restaurant that delivers an underappreciated dining experience. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options
Hair found in the pad Thai. Gross!!! Food does not look fresh
Fantastic place. Food is wonderful and the service was over the top
2 up,,,, The best sea food I used to have repeatedly while I was in Toronto.
Fast, delicious, such a solid menu with unique dishes. Great spot for Thai with spot on cooking. Bonus points for fast delivery
Very tasty food and friendly staff.
Pad Thai was sooo friggin delicious. Loved the fish cakes app and the mango sticky rice dessert. Proper Thai spot, all super fresh ingredients.
We were driving by in a rush and wanted to have soup. I think the best Thai Hot and sour soup we ever had. So was the wonton soup. Adding it to our list of places to come back to. Thank you!!!!
We found this place by chance when we were looking to explore a new Thai place. Honestly all the servers are super sweet and we ate to the point where we couldnt move. The Tom Yum Soup was amazeballs, the green curry and tamarind curry were even better. They were both savoury and had their own specific flavour profiles. I preferred the tang of the tamarind while my wife loves the creaminess of the green curry. The Pad Thai was also really good. The Thai Milk Tea might be diabetes but it was good diabetes. We will definitely be back! The food came out super quickly and all the servers were really attentive. The place was super sweet and awesome for our date!
I had a delicious peanut curry at this understated Thai restaurant. Flavours were well balanced, and veggies still had a nice crunch. Other positives include the decor, the service, and the restaurants cleanliness (including washrooms, which is never a bad sign). Having a vegan meal here is pretty easy, but you have to be clear about it with the wait staff. All in all, I highly recommend this spot. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
The food is delicious, but the service is excellent!
Very good food Nice vegan options too.
Food was very good and our server was great. Good portion sizes and good price as well.
The BEST lemongrass soup in the city!! I live far from the restaurant but I drive to get my favourite soup an order of green curry every week! All the staff are so great, including the owner Rajith who is the most hospitable person. Would give 6 stars if I could!!
Awesome, authentic thai food!
Wow, this was an absolute great find. The ambiance is beautiful and cozy, excellent family run business, very friendly service and delicious Thai food. Loved their Satay, Orange chicken, fried rice and pad Thai. Will definitely be back.
The food is always excellent no matter what you order! Best Thai food in the GTA!
Solid cuisine with lots of vegan options. Family owned vibes and they provide great service. Avoid sitting near the front in the winter as the door can make it cold.
Absolutely fantastic. Enjoyed the fish, spicy noodles, rice
Just love this restaurant. Love the service, the food is excellent. So glad it s a part of South Etobicoke!
Great food, good service, friendly staff.
Beautiful place. Portions small . There is a lunch menu. We found the food a little too Canadian for our liking. The pad thai tasted like ketchup. No condiments..we had to ask for hot sauce, chop sticks, and cilantro. Perhaps we are just used to city Thai.
The food was amazing! We got takeout. But from a glance, the restaurant was very clean, presentable and well organized. The food tasted good; you can tell that there was a lot of thought and care put into the process. Well worth the 20 minute take-out time.
Red curry shrimp was great, chicken with mixed veg rice not so much. Almost no vegetables and the chicken did not taste right. We left all of it on it plate and explained why we didnt eat it. Still fully charged us.
This is a hidden gem and one of the best Thai restaurants in the City.
Everything is so delicious here! Especially the mango salad.
The prices on their google menu and website is not what they are. Almost 5$ difference each item. I called to inquire and they said they don t own the website. I thought it was dishonest.
Great food Great and nice service Would recommend Recommended dishes Satay, Chicken Pad Thai
I used to visit Thailand few times a year and really missed their food. This place definitely gives me a taste of Bangkok. Very delicious food. Amazing service! The owner realized its my friends birthday, she put a candle on the dessert we ordered and took photos for us. So thoughtful. I definitely will visit again!
Service terrible and slow, pad kee Mao is flavorless and uses the wrong noodle
Had red curry chicken with white rice. It wasnt too spicy which was good because I eat very little spicy. The fried dumplings was delicious, crispy skin with meat inside and I loved the sauce. Khao soi was good, a bit spicier than I expected but portions of the fried noodles and chicken were a lot. Chicken satay was juicy. I had regular pad Thai before but it was my first time trying Bangkok style pad Thai. It tasted more sweet, which is good and something different. We came on a Saturday night which was packed, so if you want to come on the weekend it is better to make reservations. The interior has a lot of Thai decorations and service was good. There is street parking at the front but it is very limited.
4.5 stars We were looking for a Thai restaurant in the Etobicoke area and came across Bua Thai. It was busy inside, but we were able to get a table despite not having a reservation. The decor is quite beautiful. The boys ordered the lemongrass chicken noodle soup (dinner portion) and young coconut curry with chicken. Hubby and I ordered the basil chicken stir fry and the green curry chicken. Only the curries came with a small portion of steamed rice, but not the stir fries (not sure why), so we also ordered a Thai chicken fried rice. The spicy dishes were mildly spicy, so Im glad we asked for a little more heat in the basil chicken and green curry chicken. The food came very quickly and was fresh. The veggies were crisp, just as we like them. The chicken wasnt deep fried, which was a refreshing change from other places. Good service and family run business. I would definitely come back if in the area. Minus 0.5 stars for not serving rice with the stir fries and $2 upcharge for beef dishes.
One of the best restaurants in Toronto. Clean, good service, and delicious Thai cuisine. Chicken satay is my favourite. 5 stars!!!!
Weve been ordering from this restaurant for years. Always great food and portions are great.
Wow!!! Fresh and tasty food with just the right amount of spice. Generous portions and leftovers too. This will be our new go to restaurant for amazing Thai cuisine. Everything was perfect!
Awesome place to eat. Great menu selections. The dishes we ordered were amazing and they were good size portions. Worth the trip back IMO.
I enjoyed it there very much. We were well looked after and out food was delicious. I highly recommend them.
Really good spot for Thai food lovers fresh ingredients with authentic traditional Thai spice. Parking: Street Parking
Place was nice and clean. Food wasnt that great. Our chicken came out raw and had to request to change the dish. Servers anticipated the need and apologized for the same. Pad thai was really good.
Food is good, service is fast and restaurant is clean. Went with a group of 8 people and we were all satisfied with the food. Had the Wonton Soup and Pad Thai, quite delicious. Ended up spending around 80 dollars for two people.
We arrived at 6pm and were seated immediately. The service was prompt and the food came much more quickly than expected. The meal was delicious and the portions generous.
This is a really nice place with complimenting ambience to Thai Food. A good place to have a date. I loved food. Best part was their service. Very Happy with my Experience here.
Excellent Pad Thai and eggplant, great service.
Very nice experience, excellent service, wide variety on menu, i had green curry chicken and quantity and taste was very good.
Amazing authentic Thai. Love their Pai Thai and cold rolls. Fresh and delicious as always.
Great place, went with family for mothers Day. Food and service was great.
Had the tofu pad-see-ew with extra broccoli and it was a large portion, lots of greens (like I wanted), and delicious. The ginger tea was phenomenal. Reasonably priced and excellent service, would definitely recommend.
Fresh and real Thai
Great food and friendly staff They let us in even though they were closing thank you :) Family of 4
The summer rolls were especially good. The Papaya salad was delicious but not as spicy as I am accustomed to. Satay great.
Early Saturday Lunch. Ordered Spring rolls, Pineapple Fried rice, Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and mango sticky rice (dessert). Service was excellent; water was refilled often. Spring rolls came out very hot (we were warned) but something was lacking... sauce was typical but wasnt wowed. Spicy noodles were tasty but could have been spicier; so my SO asked for more hot sauce; still not spicy enough. My pineapple fried rice was huge(!) but again, something seemed to be missing. Portion size was great. Need to try the Pad See Ew, Pad Thai and the basil beef next time.
Food is so good here
The food is exceptional and the service is one of a kind!
Excellent food, good spice levels and portions for the price. The interior decor is also very well tone and unique, a great blend of modern and traditional!
Food is great. Very clean atmosphere. Expectional customer service. Portions are a bit small but other than that its amazing Food
Went for dinner tonight. Second time there. Excellent food, great service in a lovely clean environment. We came from Mississauga and although not a long drive there s a lot of Thai restaurants locally to choose from but this beats them all. 3rd time - Excellent Parking: Can be tricky at times. Metered parking mostly. Some free parking on side streets but requires a walk.
Excellent everything!!! Thanks for lovely meal and great service
Very fast service Very good food & large quantity Lots of choices & images Things to do so close to Toronto!
Ordered the two person special. Supposed to be a shrimp and chicken pad Thai but only had one shrimp placed on top. Portion size was ok with the pad Thai except for the lack of ingredients, but the green curry was considerably smaller. Was recommended this place and for the price was not happy
Ive been here many times and every time I had a good experience dining here. Great food and service.
Not the greatest food, not the greatest value....but pretty good all round. Have been going there for about a decade...will go again Food
By far one of the best thai places in the West End.
Lovely family run Thai cuisine restaurant. Beautifully decorated dining room. Fast Service To try: BBQ Pork Green Curry Mango Salad Parking: Park on side street, no frills, or on queensway
Delicious Pad Thai! Highly recommend
Went there for lunch on the weekend. The staff was all very kind and greeted me upon entering. The waiter was very kind and attentive throughout my meal. He even noticed me looking at a painting and was nice enough to tell me about it. The food was very well made and the portions were pretty big. Everything had good flavor and seasoning to it and came out at a perfect temperature to immediately start eating without burning your mouth. I really enjoyed eating here and will definitely do so again, as well as recommend this establishment.
Lovely restaurant with a beautiful interior and great service. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the dish I ordered. The Thai basil was quite bland with no real detectable flavour.
Ordered take out chicken Khao Soi from here, was a bit disappointed with the portion size. There were not enough noodles, toppings or soup base in this dish compared to many other local Thai restaurants in the area. For $16.95/dish it s way too overpriced for the amount of food you get.
Good place to go! Nice nice!
Parking: Park across the street at no frills Food
Really good and tasty food and nice presentation.Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Prince average for these days, mid range. We went for lunch so it wasnt busy. Very clean, including the washroom. They have good deal for take out, for $38 refer to menu to learn more. I will recommend it.
Fantastic seafood pad thai. Perfect balance of noodles, seafood, tofu, etc. Service is next level - courteous & friendly. They know how to run a business. I highly recommend these guys.
Awesome food and service.
excellent ........everything from service to some very tasty dishes Parking: a few spots out front but plenty of parking in neighbourhood Food : 5/5 |
Damn good! Must Try!
such an undiscovered gem! we have been here so many times now. everything is so fresh and they do amazing things with tofu (which can be a hit or miss at most restaurants). fave dishes are the winter rolls, peanut curry, and curry pad thai. we re literally ordering pick up as i type this review :)
By far my favourite Thai spot in the city. I strongly recommend the mango curry with chicken. Food is super consistent every time I come here. Absolutely 10/10
Authentic Thai food. Good prices. Must visit! Loved the shrimp chips and the calamari. One of the best I ve had.
The food is really good, the staff are really nice just pretty pricey.
Terrific dinner. Very nice to see authentic Thai in Canada. Great portions, generous with the proteins, reasonable cost and most important, authentic taste. I would prefer more spicey but I can see how theyve had to Canadianify the dishes so simple Etobicokians dont die. Excellent papaya salad which actually used green papaya to make this som yam. Great place and very nice service.
This place is so addictive. The food, service and atmosphere is great. Very fresh and tasty.
Best Thai in town! Love the food here. Everything is delicious. The inside is a little cramped, but its in the city Good service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Will continue to visit, but will most likely stick to take out- just because I dont like sitting so close to other people. Vegetarian options: Lots of options if you like tofu. Its cooked really well with lots of delicious spices.
I went for dinner and it was delicious. The waiter was exceptional. I returned for a lunch special, choice of 10. Very tasty. Service : 5/5
I had the fish cake appetizer, pad thai, and mango sticky rice. Very large portions and I even took half of my pad thai to go. The service was impeccable and staff were quick to take orders and refill drinks. We were seated quickly and the flavours were excellent. I have had a lot of Thai food and this is my go-to Thai restaurant in Toronto!
This is an incredible Thai restaurant. My favorite is the chicken and shrimp pad thai. The curry are all amazing and the Thai fried rice is delicious. The atmosphere and service is excellent. Wheelchair accessibility: The accessibility is pretty good
Great food, big portions, great service and fair prices.
The best and authentic Thai restaurant around. Great place for a dinner date or for a lunch special, inside is fancy and the cooks, workers are thai the quality is just that good I highly recommend this.
We had the most amazing lunch here! The food was absolutely delicious, service was friendly and so fast, and we loved the decor and atmosphere inside. Highly recommend!
Delicious. We will go back the next time were in Toronto. Great service.
Great food and great service. Would go back if it was closer to my location.
Cannot say enough good stuff about this place. I always get the spicy basil stir fry with tofu, extra hot, and I love it. Great portions for the price. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and my food always comes fast. Clean atmosphere and very accommodating with requests. You will not be disappointed!! Just wanted to add that this place has ruined me for any other Thai restaurants. They ve set the bar very high for taste and quality.
Small place, nothing fancy.but very nicely decorated. Friendly service and amazing food.
We visited over Easter Long Weekend to this place. Tables were available as soon as we walked in, however, we called before getting there based on reviews n popularity. Food is average Thai food. We ordered Tom-Kha (coconut lemongrass soup), Pad-Khee-Mao (Drunken Noodles) and Red Curry with Tofu. Curry was yum with balanced taste so as Soup. Noodles were okay lacking flavour and was very blended. These two dishes are our normal go to dishes at Thai place so we know what to expect. Taking 1 star off for Noodles. Staff was friendly. Ambience was nice. Not too much loud or noisy.
Nice beautiful restaurant and stunning decoration, food at a very good price
Great place. The food is always fresh and portions are great.
First time here, we ordered spring roll, bangkok pad thai but with the soya rice noodles instead and my bf ordered bangkok style basil and rice with fried egg , we loved the taste really delicious, i asked for some hot sauce and the flavor was good too, the waitress was friendly and patient with us , the prices are affordable .
I was visiting Toronto with my family and we randomly choose this restaurant through a Google search. My whole family loved the food, ambiance and the service. What best impressed me was the quality of service and the politeness shown by the server. I mistakenly ordered a wrong dish, when the food was served I expressed my dissatisfaction. To my surprise, the server quickly offered to fix it. Guess what, the way the chef re-made my order was beyond my expectation. I just loved the food and so did my family. A must go place, we are not from Toronto area but if we happen to visit again, we will definitely dine in here again!
A really solid Thai place, slowly becoming our go to out in Mimico since our fave closed down a decade ago in New Toronto.
Food was in good portions and the staff was very nice and accommodating. If you have little ones and coming here they only have 1 highchair for the whole restaurant so I recommend bringing your own.
Very quickly has become my go-to location for lunch, both dine-in and take-out. Excellent range of options. Ask for the hot sauce!
Great food, great service and fair prices. We really loved it here
Good portions, a bit low on spices though
Love the weekday lunch specials in particular! Such great value and delicious!
Best Thai Food in the City! Consistently great for years...major cravings ! Jillian Xo
The food was excellent... We got take out, so I cannot judge the rest.
Absolutely amazing. The food came out quick and it was hot n fresh. Tasted so good. I loved the Bangkok pad thai, it tasted very authentic. 10/10 thai food!! I highly recommend it!
The restaurant is very clean, and their food is authentic. Love the vibe here!
Fresh and tasty food, great atmosphere, super quick service so be prepared to leave your house as soon as you order takeout lol.
Total ripoff and deceiving. I got a spicy lemongrass and they gave me only one leaf of lemon grass and it looked like it went bad. Also way too overpriced, some dishes dont come with rice. If someone rates this restaurant highly check there past reviews. They dont know squat. This place should turn into a parlour.
I came here for lunch without a reservation on a Saturday, and was promptly seated since it wasnt busy at all. The restaurant is nice and spacious with comfy seating. I ordered my regular Thai cuisine go tos - pineapple fried rice and Khao soi with chicken, as well as some chicken wontons. Everything was quickly made and served hot and fresh. The Khao soi was great but the pineapple fried rice was just ok for me. As for beverages, the coconut juice was nice and refreshing.
This thai place serves amazing authentic thai food! I recommend the sweet and sour basa fillet, seafood fried rice, seafood pad thai and thai style eggplant. Their prices have significantly increased when compared to portion size. Vegetarian options: They can modify any dish and lots of vegetarian options.
Waited longer than expected. Small portions. Good Food.
Delicious Thai food, great service..will def come back again!
Been here a couple of times, not a big Thai food fan but they have an excellent mango salad and I had the stir-fry with veg and chicken and it was delicious. The service was excellent and I will return.
Great service and food. Ive never been to this restaurant before but it was recommended. Mango salad was the best Ive had, the mixed vegetables had too many egg plants but I guess I missed that on the menu. It clearly stated it has lots of egg plant. Satay chicken was generous and tender. Normally I get dried satay. Everything was great and the price was modest. Dinner for two with no alcohol was $48. I will definitely go again.
Not bad... portions are small. Paid about $20 for the garlic shrimp dish you see in the pic. Tasty food but not very filling. Only 6 shrimp in the dish... less than 1 cup of rice.. was still hungry after finishing the meal.
Excellent fresh Thai cuisine
Seafood not fresh. Noodles overcooked and rice old/heated
Authentic. Nice family oriented atmosphere with good value for money.
Located at a place where one has to pay for parking, actually deterred customers in the first place, that is in my own opinion. Once inside, the place is comfortable and in a Thai deco. Since we went in for lunch on a Saturday, there werent many customers and we were immediately served. We ordered a Pad Khee Mao (Stir-fried rice noodle with tiger shrimps) and a Pineapple Fried Rice. Like the taste of both orders. However, there are only two shrimps in each of the plates which is a bit pricey. It skimmed on the pineapple as well. The portion is big enough though. Anyhow, we are going back to check out other Thai cuisine again afterall, this is only our first time there.
Thai food has a special place in my heart and this place does also. Usually theres a dish that stands out that keeps you coming back for more and for me it was the curry sauce fish (Pla-Tod-Rad-Prik). Ill need to come back to try the tamarind sauce version next time.
The food is delicious! We are not from the area and decided to give this spot a try. We ordered the yellow curry, lemon grass chicken and the pad sew and they were all cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend!
Ordered the pineapple fried rice and green curry. Above average quality but the portion was a little small for the price. Good service though and the place was nicely decorated.
Awesome food. Amazing service and very friendly staff. Ordered Yellow Peanut Curry with Tofu and Jasmine rice. Perfect blend. Tried a few other Thai places but they end up being too sweet. 100% recommend this place if you want authentic Thai food.
amazing!
We discovered this place before the pandemic and did some take out during but it was excellent to go in person again to enjoy the food and ambience. Top notch. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, ramp outside.
My first Thai experience. Had the mango, chicken, cashew dish. Very tasty. Their pumpkin soup was great too. I will definitely visit again.
ReAlly delicious . Many vegan options.
I like coming to this place, the food is ok, service is always good, and its convenient location for me. I love the Bau platter.
Excellent food and service
Had a great experience at this restaurant! Staff were very friendly, food was amazing and well-priced, a great option if youre looking for Thai in the west end!
