I became sick after eating from this restaurant. Actually had diarrhea. I will never order from this restaurant again!!!!!!

Was craving some carribean food. Saw this place in woodbine mall. Thought I would try it. Went up to the counter, reading the menu. The Asian lady behind the counter offered me a taste test of some kind of chicken. It was terrible. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I continued to read the menu as I was craving roti and they offered it. The lady at the counter was very aggressive and would repeatedly ask me what I wanted to order. There was no one else around nor any lineup. I wind up ordering rice and peas with curry chicken. I waited by the counter but she would insist I go sit at a table and wait. I waited off to the side. I thought it was funny that out of the blue, a gentleman approached the counter and began telling the lady behind the counter that their food is great, but he didnt order anything. Maybe he is on their payroll and this is how they intice paying customers to spend. Once the food was done, she opened the box to show me. The rice was red and the chicken was Kung poa chicken. Breaded chicken with some kind of sauce. NO CURRY. She insisted it was curry chicken and rice and peas. I politely requested a refund and she angrily threw the food in the garbage and told me I was not a good person. She refused to give me a refund. The food is no where close to Carribean. It is Chinese food. The food is absolutely disgusting and the service is no better. I asked her for a business card. She refused and said she is giving me nothing. I would not advise anyone to eat here!!!!

I used to come here a lot as they have relatively big portion and good oxtails. But recently I had a bad experience with their food so I never went back again. The lady and the staffs are very nice but they really need to IMPROVE their food quality and have more authentic taste for Caribbean food as their name would suggest. Feel a bit bad for them as the staffs are friendly but food quality should be their top priority in order to get more business.

Ok this is not authentic carribbean food, rather its chinese food with a carribean twist. Service was very good though!

Sampled the cury chicken and it was rubbery, stale bland and salty. Asian woman working there was very nice though.

Staff may be friendly but everything else isn t that great, I ordered meet and they didn t warn me I was going to pay 150% of the posted price, and they prove it by a somewhat hidden sign by the cashier! It turns out that I might as well have ordered rubber, the meet was hardly done at all, i had to break two plastic knives to extract the tiny pieces of meat from the pile of bones they gave me, no wonder the place wasn t busy, never again.

What on earth happened to the food?????? Ever since new management has taken over....nothing tastes the same, new recipe doesnt taste good at all. Absolutely unacceptable. It used to be so tasty!!! The noodles,are flavourless, so stiff, anddd they didnt have soya sauce on the side. The vegetables are almost ALLL broccoli and they are flavourless as well. There used to be a very nice variety of vegetables. never going there again!! :(

This is Chinese food style ala Caribbean. It is run by Chinese, not Caribbean people. They are nice, but what do they really know about cooking Caribbean style food - almost nothing. The food looks good, but it is Chinese style cooking with slightly different spices in some cases. The price is reasonable, just not very authentic food.
