2991 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1C1, Canada
Compact fixture serving sweet & savoury breakfasts plus sandwiches in an old-school diner setting.
Very crowded. Not clean. Rushes to order, asked what the sausage was made of, said “beef.” Appears irritated to be asked and I don’t think was beef, tasted very much like pork/blend. Missed a side order for one and said it wasn’t ordered. None of the food was seasoned. Quite plain: bland and can be made at home. They do give large portions of the standard (hash etc). Coffee is nothing special just brewed and there is a scummy sludge floating on top in your cup. Charged 3.50$ for this. Person says “we use excellent beans.” Itemized receipt is incorrectly categorized as “food” & “drink.” Food items are categories as “drink.” They sit in the delusion that they are “very popular,” and what “excellent coffee beans” are but unfortunately it was a miss for us today and unclear if the popularity is due to history as it is not by merit of current food quality, service, cleanliness nor transparency to their customers. Table beside us had to ask if their order was placed due to the length of time waiting. I’m also noticing that my clothing smells pungent of the oil/grease and cooking after sitting in the restaurant. Just noticing now he also charged me for the 3 eggs/Sausage. It’s 13.95 on the menu and he charged me 15.95 on the receipt. I had no additions/modifications to the 3 Eggs/Sausage Order. He also charged 9.95/half order of French toast. Menu here is 8.95. Ensure you read the menu in the restaurant carefully. Pieces here are not reflective. When I approached and asked to pay for my bill, he said “it’s too much work for me” to separate mine from the other 3. It’s an old register in which he manually input the items off a hand-written “invoice.” He lsat there manually inputting each individual item into his cash register classifying as “food” or “drink.” He then gave me a debit receipt but no itemized receipt. He very easily could have taken my 4 items that were at the very bottom on his hand-written invoice and manually input the same way and allowed to pay for my order and I would have silently been on my way and just never returned. It’s all the odd little things that built up over this short visit.
Best hashbrowns I’ve ever had. Very yummy and fresh. BLT was made quickly and was tasty. A confusing name for what is essentially a delicious greasy spoon with chicken themes decor. Washrooms on main floor, but hallway and doors narrow for those with assistance devices. My two picky things: if you don’t have guest wifi don’t name it like it might be for the public. Call it “CDC Staff” or management. Went during the power outage hoping for some wifi. Was a bit bummed when I found out it wasn’t for public. I wished there was a light breakfast option. I love a classic breakfast but I can’t eat 3 eggs. Would love to see a 1 or 2 egg option. It was warm and loud in there. But clearly a well Loved place. Would try again, better than some other brunches I’ve had in the area.
Creme De La Creme is a West End Toronto breakfast-place landmark, and has been for many years now. The breakfast (and lunch) food is excellent, and very experienced, extremely nice professional servers like Violet, are exemplary gem professionals - alive and vital in Toronto. Just wonderful. And this can be a good place to take a person or client to breakfast if you desire privacy, when visiting during their busy time of the morning. The vital mix of conversational din will create an inherent privacy to your conversation, without the need for any physical separation. One of the best West End breakfast places in Toronto. Highly recommended.
What a nice surprise it was to find Creme De La Creme Cafe as I working close to Bloor W. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. The lady who runs the place is kind and always smiling. Generous portions, flavourful sides and real hollandaise sauce. The peameal bacon is some of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re hungry on Bloor West I highly recommend Creme De La Creme Cafe.
Miss Violetta...oh Miss Violetta, she is sooo Adorable🫠, our humbled waitress who donated her very own collection of Bone China tea cups from the UK to Creme Dela Creme. Tobe served with such kindness made my breaky so much more special. I visited this establishment about 15 yrs ago and they are still here serving the most hearthy breakfast you'll have in your life. Try it 😋.
Total hidden gem of a breakfast place with the usual menu items. However their hash browns were amazing, if you prefer this style of hash browns to the regular home fries this is the place for you. Very busy during brunch hours on a Saturday. However waitress was very cheerful and experienced, acknowledged us even while we were waiting outside. Great low key place for a hearty breakfast after a night out.
This place is what I would call a first class breakfast spot. Has the feel of a family run spot, warm, inviting and welcoming. Breakfast portion are generous and the food is delicious. Freshly squeezed juice, top ups on coffee and slices of peameal bacon that are 1/4” think resembling mini pork chops. Iconic cities like New York, Chicago and New Orleans have many such places that have been around for decades. Classic diners or breakfast joints. Toronto does not have many. This is one place that I would classify as that. Great food. Reasonable prices. Great service and completely unpretentious. Well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.
The experience was overall pleasant, and the food was great. However, as we were wrapping up, I overheard the person behind the counter mention something about us finally leaving. It was close to 2 PM, and they locked up right after we left without letting us know they were closing. I’m sure it was a misunderstanding, but it did take away from an otherwise enjoyable visit.
Pancakes are heavenly
Great hashboards and overall food but..Horrific coffee! Could you pls get real dark roast coffee to compliment your menu!
Amazing place and service.
It was all very nice, I recommend.
For people who find it crowded and noisy in the restaurant, which it is because they place is so popular and the food is that good, Uber is an option. I ordered the pancakes through Uber. The pancakes reheat up nicely AND they were the best pancakes Ive ever had. They are homemade, not from a mix in a box. I think they put just a hint of orange zest in their batter because every now and then, you get a subtle taste of orange. They are cooked to a perfect golden brown, the texture is tender without being spongy and the edges are just a little bit crispy. Fantastic!!!
Nice neigbourhood cafe with delicious breakfasts.
Enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back. I got the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and my picky eater bf got the French toast and he really liked it! Wheelchair accessible.
Charge you for using visa
Best pancakes in the city!!!
Eggs Benny all day, every day, in all the ways. Never had anything but a great meal there. Service can be a little slow sometimes.
Couldnt even tell you what the food was like because we never got served. We were sat in a side table against the wall and no one brought menus or even greeted us after a solid 5-10 minutes. I couldve forgiven them if the place was packed, but it was only 60% filled at most. Theyre not the only breakfast place. Try somewhere else.
Cramped and loud. Service is terrible. Sat for 15+ minutes and never received a menu. Finally got up and left. No idea why people are raving about the hashbrowns, they didnt look homemade. I figure the people who think they are, have never made hashbrowns from actual potatoes.
Best breakfast in Toronto. Period. REAL hash browns. Ask for grated cheese on hash browns (not on menu)
Came for brunch with my mother this morning, sat outside. The Mother/daughter duo taking care of everyone, stellar. Will be back again!
Great breakfast - the peameal is huge - took one from my plate home for lunch - eggs Benedict super! Negatives - Very very noisy - could barely hear my table companions They need to place some fabric on a portion of the walls to deaden the sound The greatest negative - the mens restroom is just terrible - wont say more...
The Best bacon and eggs Benedict
Not good! Breakfast was not good, cramped space, service not good. Pass on this place.
Perfect Mothers Day spot!
All-day breakfast near Royal York on Bloor with great shredded hash browns. Had the place to myself at 9 am on a Monday. Great low key place for a hearty breakfast.
Good food and service. The cashier was very rude to our server, he needs to get a life
Service was friendly. Food was delicious and plentiful. Large variety of choices. Bottomless coffee was very much appreciated.
One of the best breakfasts in the city. Peameal was amazing and it s good to find classic hashbrowns!
Remember the time you had the best pancakes of your life? That s right. You don t remember because you haven t been to Crème De La Crème Cafe yet! It s got it all. The timeliness modest atmosphere, tables for 2 or 12 and everything in between. The breakfast is perfect and the coffee is exactly how finer coffee should taste. Prices are bang on. If you go, don t forget to try the pancakes. Pancakes! PANCAKES!!!
Best pancakes Ive ever had.
My favourite breakfast restaurant in Etobicoke.
I would like to share my experience with this caffe, I am a dr. And obviously I have a crazy shift! And this coffee shop is my number one for me and my family! My son loves the pancakes which are very tasty and good consistency- very healthy! The stuff is very helpful and always ready for each of your desire! Amazing family breakfast place- moreover if you have kids!
Cute place nice food
One of the top ten for brunch? Maybe so, but we shall never know. Website said open until 4. Sign on door said Open so we parked. Entered at 3:20. We re closed, we had a busy day . Sorry - not our problem. To my query on how to assure access she actually said Come earlier . Really? How about changing your hours on website? Thoroughly peeved, I asked who would pay for my parking? At that point the person behind the bar - owner or manager or at least someone who understood Come earlier is a completely idiotic response - did ask us to come in. Too late. On principle we cannot eat there. Would any of the the other Top Nine welcome our business. Yes - happily Lakeview did.
If I could describe love at first sight, it would be this place. Eggs Benedict with smoke salmon on an english muffin bread and extra hollandaise sauce . The only complaint I have is that it comes with a lot of hash browns. I usually ask for half.
Solid breakfast joint.
Great place!
Good breakfast and one of the best waitresses - perhaps in the world - Ms. Violet.
I have to say Creme De La Creme Cafe was by far amazing!! Their food was very affordable and provided a great amount of food for what you ordered. The coworkers we really nice and greeted you with a great smile, very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed eating breakfast here and 100% recommend.
The lady who served us was awesome. She was working by herself and taking care of all the tables. Very kind and professional. We had breakfast Saturday morning. The food was delicious and it felt like home. We will definitely be a repeat customer. I rate 10 out of 10.
Food is solid and always reliable. Servers are so warm and friendly. Everything a neighbourhood breakfast spot should be!
Food is mediocre. If you have never had a benedict before this is not the place to get an example of one. Would not return for savory breakfast. The sweet breakfasts at the tables around us looked much better so probably stick to that. Online menu prices are not correct. Higher in the restaurant.
Came in on a weekday morning and wanted to pick up takeout for lunch on my way to work downtown and decided to order tge salmon benedict which turned out great! There were quite a few tables of cute old people dining in and the server was obviously busy, but my wait was around 10 minutes or less. Decided to have a double espresso while I waited and it was an unpretentiously solid shot. Beautiful crema, no bitterness or burnt taste.
This place looks nice and food is good but atmosphere is non existing and my server was very talkative with chef in the back. At one point, chef came out and they sat at a table to chat. My coffee refill ignored, new people walked in and were served slowly. For the price and look of the place I guess I was expecting better.
The place had too many tables for the size of the space. Food was okay (one toast was not toasted enough and the other was burnt; hashbrowns were crispy and delicious; good portion). Service was also okay (we had to ask for our water half way through our meal and the server was holding the cups by the rim when brought them out; water was cool and fresh).
Breakfast with a friend on a Sunday. Atmosphere was after-church family chaos -- busy, loud, and relaxed. The food was quite good: 3 eggs (standard) with bacon and hashbrowns (which I thought were more like potato pancakes or rosti), toast, jam. Coffee extra. The place was packed and a bit cramped. We were lucky to get a table along the wall. Service was quite slow. We had to ask for cutlery and coffee refills. On the plus side, my eggs were perfect medium over easy, and bacon was crispy. Potatoes were slightly under-cooked, and the food could have been hotter. They were out of rye bread. Ample portions of potatoes and bacon - but still seemed expensive for standard breakfast. $50, including tip for 2. Street parking. There are lots of breakfast places in the area, but I would give Creme de la Creme a second chance. Menu available online.
Service was a bit spotty, but our breakfast was delicious. Would go back again.
It is the worst place for a nice breakfast, super noisy super crowded , very poor service, it takes half hour to get your coffee refilled. Honestly the worst experienced I had in any food place
Great food
A perfect start to my day!! Lovely people. Take out was packed beautifully with all of the extra cutlery and condiments. My omelette was delicious and there was lots of cheese. Delicious coffee. So glad I didnt settle for a Tims breakfast sandwich. Parking: Many paid street parking spots, and municipal lot is nearby across the street
We had a very bad experience at this place, so overrated, very ordinary food with the worst service you can ever find. Not recommended at all, dont waste your time and money
The food was great. Our server was very nice and attentive.
Ive been here twice first time food was perfect. Second time my eggs were wrong I asked for sunnyside up and got over easy. Then I cut into the egg and it was near raw inside, pancakes were chewy and had an odd taste.
The food is great. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and I still love it.
The absolute cutest breakfast spot I ve ever been. I felt right at home with all the lovely employees and the food was delicious. YOU MUST GET THE HASH-BROWNS! Was sceptical to even post this hidden gem as I want to enjoy it all to myself hehe!
Cozy little spot to grab some breakfast. Prices are fair for what you get, and staff is friendly. Place seems pretty popular, as it was pretty full when I arrived. All in all, if you re looking for some eats in the area I would definitely check it out.
Really worst diner Ive seenin 10+ years. Only good thing is staff is friendly. Ordered salad. Not fresh and dressing is so salty. Portion is of side size but for the full price. For breakfast sausages for $7.50. Sausage quality is really low. Unfortunately I didnt have much choice after my order arrived due to time constraints to select other venue. You cannot serve your customers food of that quality.
Really good food and amazing service! Thank so much to Irina for serving our big table! You re an exceptional server! 100% recommended
Amazing breakfast, service was so attentive and caring. Thank you ever so much !!
A little to over crowded and tight . Food took a very long time and it was ok better years ago
Great place and great food!
Would love coming to this local spot but not after my recent visit.... I understand there was an owner change in the last year or so but wow... I ordered the greek chicken salad it was 17.95... there was hardly ANY chicken, was mostly lettuce... For $18 youd think there would be a decent amount but no.. waste of money. Also my mother ordered the creme sandwich which was 13.95; on the menu it states the sandwich is alone and to add side hash is 5.50 and add side salad is 10.50!!!!! I had to read that 10 times! When it came to pay the bill my total after taxes was 45.!!! Sorry but my chicken salad, sandwich with side hash is 37.40 BEFORE TAX and after tax is 42.... So where was the additional charge and why? Rip off. wont come back anymore which sucks cause I would come here ALL THE TIME!
12:10PM Seated 12:25PM Partner and I ordered 2 breakfasts with additional side of Toast to split 12:40PM Toast arrives. Nothing else. Everyone whos arrived after us has somehow gotten their food ahead of us. 12:55PM Rest of the food arrives with apologies from the wait staff. They skipped yours somehow. The entire order must have dropped off the... Doesnt explain how we get toast well ahead of the rest of the order. Poached eggs are all hard. We ordered soft. Hashbrowns and deep fried fryer bacon are fine. Toast thats been sitting there is now bleh. My partner and I are hungry so we end up cleaning the plates. Liberal use of the salt and pepper pots to season. Ketchup is now a must. More apologies. Wait staff is doing their best by themselves to serve the entire establishment. My heart goes out to her. Its busy. Its fine. Were not on the clock and in no rush to be anywhere. The place is now only a 1/4 full. 1:15PM I get up to go pay. Waitstaff calls on someone to take care of my payment. Calls them twice. No one shows. For some strange reason, the waitstaff has no problems taking care of the payment of the person waiting BEHIND me. He has cash in hand. So do I. This is getting ridiculous. She apologizes again for making me wait. Says that Ive been waiting forever and will probably wait until Christmas at this rate. I tell her that I can go back and sit down to wait. I have all the time in the world. This visibly annoys her for some reason. 1:20PM So she takes my payment instead. I tip her because its literally not her fault and shes doing the best she can within her abilities. 1:21PM My partner and I high tail it out of there before they come up with another reason for us to wait. As Im leaving I hear back of the house staff asking her loudly why she took my payment. But he paid cash... I no longer care. Im not here for a discount or a free meal. Its a greasy spoon breakfast place. Quality has gone down since last year. I hope they provide the poor single person waitstaff with a reprieve and maybe hire someone to assist during dining rush. Its not worth it for me to go back ever. It wont hurt their business either.
Down home casual with fabulous food. I had their always-amazing perfect sliced avocado (huge!), Smoked salmon and raisin toast with bottomless coffee. Friends had excellent, yummy french toast and fresh fruit, and a toasted peameal and egg sandwich on rye that was so filling she took half home. Fast, efficient, friendly service. We got there about 9:45 am and it was full by 11.
Our new favorite place for breakfast. We had the 3 egg omelette with different toppings and the hash browns were too good! Crispy and well done. Very nice vibe as well. Will definitely come back.
A cute breakfast restaurant. The food here was always tasty and plentiful when I visited. And the service was very accommodating. Id love to come back.
I have never been to this charming cafe. Had never even heard of it until my friend took me there for brunch. Our waitress, Violet, was charming, friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous. I will certainly be back even though its 9 subway stops from where I live.
Very disappointed. Coffee creamers were bad, the container they were in was warm and one of the creamers came out a giant blob. When I asked the lady to replace the coffee, she denied it, stating the creamer was frozen, but I took the blob out and it did not unfreeze (it was bad) the entire breakfast. Service was rude. Bacon burnt, hash browns undercooked. She did not bring syrup to the table for the waffle. There was one staff serving while another lady sat behind a desk at the front and did not help with the somewhat busy lobby. Extremely expensive, especially considering my friend and I SHARED a plate. It was so bad, we were talking to the table beside us and they mentioned they were extremely disappointed as well and that the restaurant is under new management. Horrible experience.
top-tier hungover hash browns
This place is one of our favourites! The hashbrowns are to die for. Service is fast and food is amazing. Wonderful restaurant!
Worlds best breakfasts and one of the firendliest in a city that is altogether much more friendly than back home in old europe! Hope to return soon. Loved the service and the food.
Made an order through Doordash of 2 no meat breakfasts, for both my children for their school achievements. Only 1 came and I immediately called the restaurant to understand what happened. They said they would send the other half of the order. An hour passed and I called again only to be told there was nothing they could do about it and it was Doordashs fault they made the food disappear (?). What kind of treatment is this? Not only I did not get the full order but was lead to understand the problem would be solved to be disappointed in the end. Not to mention that the good time I was supposed to offer my children was spoiled.
No complaints very pleasant staff and excellent breakfast
Best pancakes of my life!
I never want to go to this place again.
Excellent place and warmth
One of the best breakfast places in town. Has a very european/French dining feel to it. Very busy and popular place. The hashbrowns are amazing. Love the pancakes. Very polite staff.
Fantastic place for all-day breakfast Service and staff were perfect Definitely go back again Food : 5/5
Overall it was ok. Food was good. Service could have been a bit more polished.
Really good food, but way too many tabels for the space they have. It felt very claustrophobic.
Delicious breakfast. You gotta eat here!
The best eggs benedict ive had in the GTA. Hollandaise sauce is light but perfect. Thickest, largest peameal bacon ive have. Fast friendly service. A hidden gem for sure.
Loved it! Second time back and it was better than the first! Huge pancakes, fantastic eggs and toast, great fresh fruits and amazing quick service. We sat down and were eating in less than 10 minutes! Will come back for a 3rd, 4th, 5th time soon!
Great all day breakfast menu - the service was amazing and prices are very fair. Food portions are large as well. Was full after my plate
Worst pickup experience
Great service. I get the ham Benny which is amazing! The hash is tasty and crisp and the eggs are perfectly poached to your specs
Amazing breakfast (salmon eggs Benedict). 20 bucks tax n tip all in.
Easily the best place for breakfast in the area. Very friendly staff and owner
Creme de la Creme is finally open!!! So happy to be back to enjoy best omlettes and eggs Benedict, salads and sandwiches. Best neighbourhood Cafe on Bloor, Kingsway.
Excellent breakfast. Decent coffee. Refrigerated water with no ice!
Nice small home type place
Amazingly friendly staff, wonderful food with an old-school feel.
Breakfast always fresh. My favorite place in town. Highly recommended
The only place to make real original hash brown.
Really good food. Had omelette
Love going for breakfast here. Great pancakes and hash browns. What a fantastic place. Favorite breakfast in the city and best in Etobicoke.
My family and I went at 10 am. It took over an hour to get our food and we were waiting with a three year old. Owners seem racist a white family came after us and we re served over 20 minutes before us. So first I ordered a grilled cheese that was 9 dollars. It was damn wonder bread and a slice of cheese.. burnt. I got an omelette and it was raw on the inside. Both omelettes ordered did not get their bread. The hash browns were paper like and flavourless. They use nesquik powder and water for the hot chocolate. The old man taking orders was so disrespectful and dismissive. If you are a POC or u appreciate good food or service.. STAY AWAY
The pancakes here are the best Ive ever had! Theyre delicious and super filling.
Food is great and water is cold
Great breakfast place owned and operated by an amazing family.
Great local breakfast nook. Nice food pleasant staff.
A good place near to the subway to stop for breakfast or lunch. Food is OK, they serve relatively generous portions. Small and discrete with no lines. However, sanitation could be improved.
Love love love this place for brunch. Hands down the best pancakes EVER. Fluffy and pillowy inside but the edges are nice and crispy. Generous portions! Ordered bacon breakfast and full pancakes (2pcs). They were quick to replace our egg which came out a bit runnier than we are used to for over medium. Excellent experience overall. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. Street parking is free before 1pm on Sundays.
Went in the restaurant first and the couple that came in after received coffee, juice, water and their order was taken. I received nothing. I agree with the previous posting. If you are a person of colour stay away. Racism runs deep in that breakfast place. Will never go back.
Delicious food and attentive service on a south side patio. Apparently the hash brown potatoes are famous far and wide.
A little expensive and slow service. We ordered only two sandwish and waited 20 minutes for them. They were delicious, but the service could be better.
This place was very busy but the service was great, the prices very reasonable and the food was delicious!
Fast service. Great breakfast options.
Good breakfast and very friendly service.
The food was AWFUL!!! 80$ with tip for a disgusting breakfast!!! We were so excited as it was listed as a top restaurant to go to for breaky!! Never ever again!!
Ive been here twice now and this restaurant isnt worth rushing back to. Its in a great location and looks good from the outside (always busy), however, its typical diner food.. nothing special. Guests are packed in and the place isnt the cleanest. Staff are quite friendly.
I love this family operated breakfast spot. Good value, generous portions and the food is great.
I really wanted to like this place seeing as it has a 4.4 star rating but...the hash browns are a mix of burnt and unburnt shredded potatoes that taste like what I would expect mold to taste like. The omelet was delicious! On their menu, they offer fresh squeezed orange juice for $5.50 which I ordered. What I received was Tropicana orange juice, not freshly squeezed. I told my server that this was not a $5.50 freshly squeezed orange juice, she replied by telling me that they bring the juice from outside and I said okay, but its store bought, not freshly squeezed, theres zero pulp and it tastes like orange juice from concentrate and Im not paying $5.50 for it. She quietly nodded and took the glass away. It was removed from my bill. She was very nice! I was happy with the service and the omelet. The rye toast tasted old. The high chair they placed at my table for my baby to sit in, it was filthy with caked on leftovers and looked like it had never been cleaned before. The lady brought a spray bottle and cloth and tried to clean it which was nice but it didnt look any cleaner when she was done so I draped my sweater in it before my baby say inside. The restaurant itself is run down and a little on the filthy side but it seems to be popular regardless of the issues Ive mentioned seeing as it was quite busy when I first sat down.
It s a great place to go to if you re white. If you re a person of colour don t even bother. The owners are really racist.
I googled best brunch places in Etobicoke and saw this place and decided to try it. This place is Diner chic with a small patio. My egg benedict with smoked salmon had a 3 poached eggs and hashbrown that was well cooked with a slight crisp perfection. My boyfriend had the steak and eggs which looked appetizing and was delicious. It was my first visit and definitely not my last. I posted the lunch and breakfast menu for your convenience.
Amazing food and services. The waffles are delicious. Loved it
I love breakfast at Creme De La Creme!I always look forward to delicious food. The crew its great and super friendly.
Service was good, the waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Food is reasonably priced, and the food is good.
Great Service !! Great Food !! Keep up the great work !!
Consistently terrific breakfast. The eggs benny are a must!!
This is my favourite mom and pop restaurant for their all day breakfast. For years I have been frequenting this place and just so happy that it is open again for dine in. Their pancake tastes so good and the owner said that this is her own recipe which she used to make for her children. This time though my friends and I ordered bacon, ham and new york steak breakfast. This comes with fresh hash brown, 3 eggs cooked to your liking and white, wholewheat or rye toasts. The coffee is bottomless. They have set out tables outside, hand sanitizer is also provided. The price is very reasonable. I love going to this place and feels like having a home cooked meal.
Friendly service. Good food. Reasonably priced. Good serving size. Nice place to have breakfast.
I love breakfast at Creme De La Creme! Especially New York Steak. The meat was very tender and juicy. Also, their crew behavior is outstanding.
Delicious food with huge portions and amazing taste! The staff are super welcoming in this cozy restaurant, making the start of the day amazing. Would 10/10 recommend
Nice place, we went to Creme De La Creme Cafe for lunch last week and the experience was very pleasant. The eggs Benedict with salmon was delicious, the place was cozy and the staff really polite. Highly recommended.
I went to Creme de la Creme restaurant this weekend with my family for lunch. I ordered their famous pancake and it was amazing, fluffy and tasty. The prices were really good and the staff was really nice and polite. I totally enjoyed the meal and the welcoming atmosphere. It was worth my time and I will definitely come again in the future.
I loved the place. The food tasted so good. I was surprised. The potatoes were awesome.
Great little place
Fresh and tasty...
Delicious breakfast and lunch spot! Cozy, friendly service
My sister in law found this place on google and we were in the area and decided to check it out. To be honest, it was one of the best breakfast I have ever had. My SIL got the eggs with ham and on my plate, the one you see in the photos, has Pea meal Bacon with eggs and hash. Hash is the best, even thinking about it makes my stomach growl. The portion size is big so no complain there. It can get very crowded and fill up the place pretty quickly, so, its better to go during non-rush hours.
Perfect place for brunch with great food and service. Kids loved the pancakes and waffles. They dont usually finish their plate but this time to our surprise they finished everything including the fruits. The scrambled eggs and the salmon benedict were perfectly cooked and really tasty, and the hash browns were unique in their kind. Definitely going back there soon.
Was a little disappointed in my breakfast eggs were over hard and peameal was well done not what I asked for
Delicious clubhouse
Very cute patio to have breakfast/lunch. The food was amazing- Crispy and fresh. The pancakes are a must try!
This is ridiculous. We ve been waiting over 30 minutes with a child who s 6 years old. Frustrated with the wait time. It s 30 degrees outside, there s no way it should take over half an hour for eggs and pancakes. Plus cold disinterested service from the servers. This isn t any kind of service. When we went inside to address them they saw us and walked to the back to avoid conversation. We ve watched multiple people receive their food before us as well. This is no type of service for anyone of colour. This is definitely prejudice.
Food was good went around 12 pm so there was a rush but didn t have to wait tooooo long to be sat. Props to Violet running the show taking orders, bussing tables, talking to customers, etc I know it s tough right now for restaurant workers and she s doing a great job trying to keep up with the busy crowd & humid weather!
Best breakfast place in ETOBICOKE!
Nice place for breakfast. Old fashioned style. Afordable.
Great breakfast! Friendly efficient service. I d have rated it 5 but for the poor, weak, watered down coffee.
Fantastic service and fantastic people. I have been going there a long time. Always very busy. Bridie
The service its always good and kind, the food its abundant and delicious
We went for breakfast. The food was generally good, service as well but being served Miracle Whip when I m asked if mayonnaise works on my BLT tells me a lot about a restaurant. If one runs a restaurant and can t tell the difference, it says a lot about the place. Good price. I d recommend if you re in the area but not worth a commute.
My favourite place for pancakes. Dont like them generally from restaurants but like other reviewers have stated they are thin and crispy on the edges here and just wonderful. The service is always great as well.
I dont usually end up living breakfast/brunch locations but WOW! The food here has so much flavour and the family staff are so welcoming and friendly. Making this a regular brunch spot for sure
Small menu, great food and service.
A classic diner feel with very friendly staff, awesome french toast, pancakes (sort of Dutch-style) and hash browns (the eggs and other breakfast items looked great too).Definitely recommend.
Best breakfast ever!!!!! I suggest the Benedict eggs, and the pancake was delicious. The staff was very nice and the place is clean.

The food was really good. We had Benedicts and the Hollandaise sauce was one the best I ve had so far. Very friendly staff as well. I would def recommend if you are in the area!
Found this place by accident after a night out drinking and had the absolute best grilled cheese I have ever had in my life. The food here drips grease but I mean that in the best way possible. Never had a better hangover meal
Fantastic family run restaurant on Bloor West. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Such a wonderful place with great food and service, as always. Please support this little family run business during these uncertain times. You wont be disappointed.

Great diner in the Kingsway for a quick and easy breakfast. Wonderful service. Be sure to get the home fries !
Went to this place, because my girlfriend raved about it harder then electric island. Very good breakfast, the hash browns are different but very tasty, better than normal. I d say it s my favourite breakfast place, not because I grew up with it, I am 30, tried this place a few times, and this is now my favourite place. Ten fried eggs out of ten fried eggs!!!
