False advertising for their combos. Writes "comes with salad and fries", but only has fries. Bartender was adamant about the no salad, says the "secret code" is to call the owner's phone number and ask them to include both if you want both. Interesting marketing tactic and quite illegal. And the food was meh.
After an intense workout at the gym, Hubby treated me to breakfast at Mama Rosa Restaurant and Bar. I was pleasantly surprised with the photos on the wall that mark Canadian greats. From athletes (Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Raptors) to singing greats (we sat in the Gord Downy booth), this quaint spot is proudly Canadian. The waitress who serves us was very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered the all day breakfast which was delicious! We both ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, hashbrowns and whole wheat toast. A pleasant surprise was to hear that the waitress knew the names of all the customers who came through the door. You don’t hear that too often! I love this spot and I will be back … did I say the food is delicious?! Make sure to try out their digital jukebox too. P.S. there is free parking at the front but there may be some mobility access issues. This establishment is also children friendly! ♥️✨
The wings and fries were very good. Loved the texture and the variety of sauces. Our takeout order was missing our drinks, but overall the food was delicious.
I Highly recommend this place. This restaurant has some really amazing dishes. I always order on uber eats. I recommend the penne la vodka and the pesto with chicken, the spaghetti and meatballs are also very delicious. They deserve a higher rating.. happy customer 😃
Ordered on Uber eats, can’t leave a review there for some reason (probably because of already requesting a refund), but I felt so wronged by the price paid for such abhorrent quality of food that I thought I’d put in the effort to come here and review. Gf and I ordered chicken parm, and apparently they plucked chickens straight from the Sahara. We stopped eating 3 bites in and I am about to pull apart the chicken to add mayo to throw it in a sandwich tomorrow. Tomato sauce and spaghetti was fine.
Complete disappointment. Ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. Barely any meat and barely any sauce! Just oil with tiny pieces of beef. This is NOT a meat sauce. Also got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Had barely any meat and just tasted like you were eating bread. Ordered via delivery so can’t comment on atmosphere. Complete waste of money. So many other options around and I wish I spent my money on QUALITY restaurants
Just amazing!! We went in for a typical night out. And out of nowhere we ended up having one of the best nights in the city we've had in awhile! The atmosphere was so great. We had a great time playing whatever music we wanted on the juke box. The service was very kind and quick. I ordered the beef teriyaki stir fry and it was amazing! Thanks for the fun times and great food!
Came here couple weeks ago with my sister when it just opened around lunch time. We had poutine, their signature pasta, and souvlaki dinner. Food was great, and the service was awesome! The place is not that big but they also have patio seatings for summer time. Highly recommend!

The restaurant bar is like *Hole in the wall* Simply loved the vibe of the bar. Restaurant patrons were a happy lot. The bartender Isabel was really hospitable and friendly.
Nice little small restaurant. Food was good chicken Parm was a little overcooked but still tasty. I had a salad with it. Service was great.
If youre looking for great customer service, go to Tim Hortons like the waitress Talia suggested cuz you wont find it here. Waitress Talia after thinking I wouldnt tip her continuously try to publicly shame me while other customers were in. The restaurant even told me that I could serve myself and I did tip her but she was not deserving of that tip. Merry Christmas, Talia enjoy that $40 that you dont deserve
Took my daughter here as a late Birthday dinner. She ordered the Banquet Burger which comes with a burger, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup and mustard. We asked for no onions and mustard. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak which comes with steak, cheese, onions and mushrooms. Fries came with both orders. When my daughter got her burger it came with the burger, bacon, cheese and mayo. The lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup were missing but we were given mayo instead. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she took it back. My Philly Cheesesteak sandwich came with steak that was thinner than pkgd sandwich meat, cheese, onions and green peppers. I guess they ran out of mushrooms and substituted the green peppers. I was disappointed as I was craving mushrooms but I ate it. When my daughters burger came back, it had the burger, cheese, bacon and ketchup. The burger was the circumference of a McDonalds hamburger, only thicker but still much smaller than the Banquet Burger at the Mississauga location. We will not be returning to this location again. I paid a lot of money for incomplete orders.
Fantastic food - ordered over Uber Eats and it is delicious every time. 10/10 would recommend

The manager is unpleasant and rude. The way she speaks to the other staff is unreal!! It s a much nicer place when she is on vacation!!!! She has NO customer service and expects a 20% tip!
Shady AF
I did take-out on delivery app...so cant rate/speak on the dine-in service/atmosphere. I got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. And, pork schnitzel as main; as it was on promo in the app. It was more than enough portions for 2 people. Everything was rightly seasoned. The veggies were cooked perfectly and the mushroom gravy just tied in with schnitzel and mashed potatoes. My only comment would be a slightly thinner schnitzel. My meal arrived well-packed and visually appealing. I enjoyed everything! It was overall a great meal! Thank you to the chef!

Nothing good to say about their sandwiches or Greek food. They were sold out of some items and didnt update the menu, the meat was unseasoned and overcooked. The fries were sub-par, cooked from frozen. Portions were small, dinners were assembled sloppily, lettuce in salad was brown. Rice had no flavour, cheese was low quality, this list goes on. Dont bother with this place, you will be disappointed.

Words to describe the rudeness and greedyness and way I was scammed,I walked in here and politely asked if I can use the washroom, was told down the stairs, I said thank you so much and went, as I am literally wiping a woman comes in the mens room telling me washrooms are for customers only And that I had to buy something now... Still in the bathroom This white rude woman Tries to take my order I HADNT EVEN EXITED THE STALL And theres this woman standing outside the stall in the mens room trying to take my order... So I went upstairs tossed 50 cents on the counter and said Heres 50 cents For your washroom use.... What a joke
Muscles taste bitter and the rest of the seafood has no flavor and was hard. Pasta has no flavor and the sauce which mostly oil gathers at the bottom. Better to buy from the rosendale location. I ordered from here by mistake and what a waste
Walked in and asked for a drink for the lady with the bright red lipstick to say no because of the way I look I asked three times just in case I thought I was hearing things but nope she said what she said and in the rudest way possible.

Warning - the prices on their website is incorrect so you may be overcharged. I had some bad luck ordering from this restaurant recently. First time I ordered through UberEats a week ago and 15 minutes after ordering, the order was cancelled. The next day I found their website and decided to order through their website instead for lunch. I went to pick up my food and the waitress told me that they werent even aware of the order and the chef is not in that day and the restaurant was closed. Today I called in to place the order, asked for the daily special listed on their website, the waitress confirmed the order. When I go pick up the order, I was told there was no daily special and was charged extra for side of greek salad. When I asked about the prices on the website, the waitress told me that the website is always wrong. I tried to support this local business but unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I dont recommend the place at at all. I placed an order and Door dash and and door dash said that this restaurant has there own delivery carriers so Im like ok so I order the food and it said my food will arrive in an hour and ten minutes I didnt think anything of it, so an hour and 25 minutes goes by and Im like something has to be wrong I call the restaurant to figure what happened and some guy answer then phone and says theres nobody to get the food so you have to call door dash customer support so I did that so door dash customer support called the restaurant and the restaurant told door dash that someone has came and got the food to deliver to me so then another 10 minutes goes by so I call the restaurant again and they said nobody has came to get the food. So I dont recommen this place at all there dam liers and dont have there deliver system figured out
Came across this little gem of a restaurant with probably the nicest patio on Dundas. We sat on their patio and I order their souvlaki dinner and my husband had the ribs that the lovely server suggested.OMG generous portions and delicious dinner. We will be back we had an amazing date night and they have great prices and friendly server Will be back. thanks Mama Rosa!!

Prices are marked up 25% on Uber Eats. Was considering ordering, but after discovering the markups, will never order from this dishonest restaurant. What a lousy way to treat prospective customers.
Very tasty, fresh and reasonably priced Italian food! The wife and I ordered it last week and loved it. Let me set something straight as I m seeing a lot of uninformed reviews on here. Uber and other delivery services often charge their own fees and tariffs. So if you have a problem with it you should complain to those apps. Not leave negative reviews on the restaurant which may have no control over what you re even complaining about. And for the record, we did order it on UberEats. The price matched the menu we had from them, and there was even a deal to save us a few dollars on the order. Looks like whatever problems were there aren t anymore, and I d still give this place a solid 5 out of 5!

Very hit and miss. Like the reviewer below Ive had some bad experiences in terms of rude staff. Now I just got home and they mixed up my order, going to avoid this place going forward.
This bar is a little gem in the West End... Is food is great and the staff is good... Is great take out food and Daily specials... Wigs are great
The kitchen is closed by 7pm on a Friday night. Called for a pick up order and the lady on the phone just unapologetically said the kitchen is closed and the cook was gone. Was hoping this would be a good Friday night spot, but I guess we will have to look elsewhere

Went to the restaurant on June 30, 2020 for dinner on the patio, but was disappointed that that the owner refused to accept a valid coupon for a free entree with the purchase of an entree with 2 beverages. The waitress told us that he would not accept the coupon because they had a special Pandemic Menu which looked like the regular menu. Its funny, the coupon did not say Not valid with pandemics. We understand that restaurants are struggling, but the owner should have spoken with us personally with a proper explanation instead of getting the waitress to be the messenger of bad news. He could have at least offered us a couple of non-alcoholic drinks. If they cant honour their own coupon, why do they give them out?
Great Prices. Great Food. Following all the proper protocols during the pandemic. Server washed down patio tables and chairs after each customer left.

Where do I start? The young lady serving me forgot to bring my gravy for 15 minutes until I had to remind her. She made me pour my own beverage and not to mention the group of gentleman at the bar were yelling offensive things like my tax dollars shouldn t have to help the degenerates at Jane and finch. I got the white supremacy vibe. If you don t like drunk white guys yelling than don t go here.
