Roti Palace Of India in Etobicoke

I had terrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered saag paneer and naan from this restaurant by uber , the paneer was stale , the naan had no taste. Please do not waster your money here. I definitely don t recommend it. Worst experience.

The lamb curry was tasteless and disgusting. Ill never order from this store again.

This place is great if you want to eat Indian Style Roti. Ive eaten there multiple times. It may be a hole in the wall, but thats fine. the food is insanely delicious.

A+ Excellent ROTI ! Ordered Take out - Packaged well - Paneer Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer Roti. Asked for spicy and had real jalapeno diced , instead of some red chilli powder. Good taste and well cooked. Please keep up the good work and recipes, will come back again.

I ordered from Roti Palace Of India through Uber eats. Uber eats driver messed up and left half my order behind at the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant was kind enough to drive my order to my house personally and also gave us complimentary Gulab Jamun, going above and beyond. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The roti was top notch!!!!

Amazing food and great quantity

This was probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. The most watery Korma that had a very lentil forward flavour, if any flavor all. Disappointing and lackluster, I wouldnt recommend this place at all. Unfortunately they must have performed some sort of magic at some point before, because my partner swore this place was incredible until our order today. Terrible.

Tried to dine in, waited for 5-10 minutes and no one came to offer me a menu or drinks, no codes to scan for self service so that wasn t the case. The server was rude to the Uber drivers while I was waiting. I left before hungry.

Best Roti in the city without hesitation. The roti shell here is like a crepe. It is so light and so tasty. The curry is out of this world. You have to check it out. Huge portions too, great value.

I had called this restaurant to ask them about their samosas and what kind of vegetables do they fill it with. The man who spoke to me over the phone asked me if I was going to buy the samosas, to which I answered Im just asking a few questions to make a decision. After I said that, he said he is really busy at the restaurant so he cant answer my questions, asked me if Ive ever eaten a samosa before and told me to check the website if i have any questions. He was condescending, rude and rushed me repeatedly. Edit: It was a 1 minute 34 seconds call. I have proof of it as well. This happened after I asked 2 questions- Is there potato only in it? When was it made?

Cool Indian cousin

I tried Mysore Masala Dosa and Garlic Dosa, and I absolutely loved them. The taste was amazing, reminiscent of home-cooked flavors, making it the perfect Indian dosa. I havent had dosa this good anywhere else in Canada so far. This place is a must-try!

I ordered paneer tikka masala. It was muddy and ashy which spoiled the taste and quality of the order. First I thought it could be in some portion but whole order had mud (could be ash in roti).

Usually when I look at restaurants, I care more about their service and people who works there more than foods, because I think the foods should always be meeting standards when running restaurants. I ordered the food through skip the dishes. After placing the order, I called the restaurant to make it spicy.. it was just amazing. I barely order Indian food from restaurants as I don t find the right taste. This one was just perfect. Great balance of spices, fresh made and scrumptious.

We ordered samosa, saag kofta(Which turned out sweet) and roti didn t like any of it. We chose to sit there and eat, the server wouldn t even give one plate each to us. It was three of us, (Two adults and one child)and he handed one plate and one spoon! We had to request for two more, yet only one was given. they hand out disposable cutlery and expect us to share it too.. Pretty pathetic hospitality. It just turned us off and we didn t enjoy the meal either. Not going here again for sure, I wish the staff understood importance of ambience and courtesy in an eatery.

when I was going to restaurant the name is my roti palace India I was ordered the food in butter nan with chicken tikka spicy gravy it was really good taste and I also enjoyed the food with me and my family and also all food is very affordable prices I ordered the food then after within 10 minutes food is ready and also restaurant employees very good genuine customer service so is my opinion if you find the good south Indian restaurant I suggestion this restaurant

Tasty food and good service

Not the most cleanliest place Ive been. The tables were really sticky, had to deal with really bad diarrhea afterwards (probably from contaminated food/utensils). Barely any customers/orders going in and out. Needs lot of work!

I had a roti and chicken curry, not a satisfying choice The roti to curry ratio was off, I would have preferred the roti on the side instead of having it folded like a pie.. it didnt do much for texture of the roti. The chicken curry itself was average. It would have been better if served with some raw onions. Its not bad,.but Id probably have it over rice instead, the way the roti was.served was disappointing.

Indian food is one of my favourite types of cuisine and Roti Palace of India does it better than anywhere else I ve been. I ve travelled all over North America and Europe and I have Indian food almost everywhere I go. Hands down there is no place better than Roti Palace of India. Keep doing what you do because you are the best and I will always keep coming back! You guys are awesome!

Small business like this place needs all the support we can give. This place will quench your thirst for a simple roti and authentic south Indian chicken curry. I would recommend Madras chicken curry (medium spice). Wraps are neatly folded into a container so that you can take home if you cannot finish at one go.

This place is absolutely terrible. Do not order the butter chicken because you will not receive butter chicken, you will receive a watery flavourless mess. The only thing that was edible was the samosa.

Taste was good but not worth the price. Their butter chicken dish is $11 and there s basically no chicken in it. Hardly any to say there s chicken in it. And the portion is quite small for $11.

I regularly order from this place, its a gem for take out. They have a large menu but every dish I have tried is amazing. My standard order is Chicken 65, Lamb Korma Roti and Chicken Biryani which are superb!

Definitely order from them if you want your order randomly cancelled after waiting an hour.

Ordered paneer tikka masala and saag kofta. Never had paneer tikka masala with potato and small cubes of paneer. So definitely its a no-go zone. Saag kofta was not fresh. saag kofta might not be popular dish. Tasted ok. Dissappointed. Place has 4.5 star so we ordered first time.

After having cravings for some roti, and trying several various places, I keep coming back here. Most of the flavours are amazing, the variety is fabulous, and you can order it as spicy (or not) as your prefer.

The food was fresh and tasted okey. Small quantity for 13 bucks compared to what others offer in the region.

Had very good food here this evening. We ordered Chicken 65 for an app, Butter Chicken on rice, Madras Shrimp Curry on rice, and some roti. Everything was fresh and hot, with spicy levels precisely adjusted to request. The order was readied quickly and accurately. The owner was very courteous. Excellent portion size for the money, too. Will definitely order here again.

Cheaper food and average taste

Most refined tasting Indian food I have ever had. Beautiful balance of spices. The richness of the curry will have your tastebuds in bliss. Amazing customer service. They have 3 levels of spice and will also do a mix. They nail it with medium-spicy . Butter chicken & Madras lamb is my favourite. Still many more dishes on the list to try. Highly recommend this place

Don t buy the chicken 65, it s disappointing. Chicken biryani is just Meh, I think I can make better one at home. Also samosa chaat was dry when we got it in the takeout container (with not enough stuffing that comes as part of a chaat masala). I also ordered dum biryani, and that was good, as expected. The overall experience was very average.

Disappointed with the overall quality of the food.I ordered on UberEats and the naans in the order were not freshly cooked but instead were frozen naans that you get in Costco. Shahi paneer curry had potato pieces. Chana masala curry was overcooked and tasted sweet.

Wastage of money

Love their lamb curry. Love their roti (not wild about their naan bread which is thick and dry), but generally love their food. The samosas are great. Their prices are reasonable and the service is generally very good and extremely attentive. I would really recommend this place. It seems to be a well kept secret, unfortunately. Not sure why that is exactly.

Cheap Indian food - got lied to twice - microwaved most of it - tried to give me a false order without tell me - tasteless, clearly old food. Threw it out. Very disappointed. Waste of money. Priced way to high. I had to reorder my food after skip the dishes failed to deliver my first. I was told the order would be re made fresh - that the first order never made it back to the restaurant. While waiting for my food standing at the bar - I noticed the cook microwaving 2 containers. The dessert. And then another container. Once I got my food I asked why items were microwaved when I was told fresh. He said only the roti was microwaved since they don t make it here. I then asked why the small gulab jamun orders were microwaved as well. He stated yes those are also microwaved as they don t make it here. I told him I didn t appreciate being lied to. He insisted the curries at least were made fresh. I said after now waiting almost 3 hours for my order I d take it. He then said he forgot the pop. Gave me the wrong pop order - I told him that s not what I ordered. Only then did he say that s all they had. This restaurant I was very disappointed in. They tried to lie and pass of items as fresh - which weren t. Then once I actually tried the food found it bland, tasteless - and though ok sure the curries are mixed together in a pot. The meat - chicken in particular you can tell is old, dry and definitely wasn t cooked fresh. Ate what I could - threw out the rest. Hated to waste it, but just couldn t trust the food.

Delicious! I ordered from here on Uber Eats and asked for the Vegetable Biryani to be mild, and it was perfect. Not too spicy. I also ordered the Curry Chicken made with their special curry, and it was probably one of the best curries I have ever had. The portions were very good for the amount paid, it tasted fresh out of the pot, and it wasnt cold. I recommend everyone to try this place, whether youve had Indian food or never have, youll love it! The owner here must know what hes doing, and hes doing an excellent job! 5 star

Have been ordering Roti from here for close to two years via UberEats. Roti s are the best in Etobicoke. Love the Saag Chicken and Chicken 65. Note that hot is hot.

I was hungry and lazy and never have had roti before and I m so upset that it took me 26 years to discover roti. This was the best food I have ever had the blessing of eating. The vindaloo was hot, fresh and spicy just the way I wanted it. The guy on the phone was professional, patient with my ignorant questions, and had it ready in under 15 minutes. I will be back weekly. Thank you!

Great food... Bit of a hole in the wall but was surprised.

We have ordered take out several times and are very pleased every time. The food always arrives on time and is hot. My husband requests extra spicy and he is happy with the amount. Also the amount of lamb in the dishes is very decent much more than other restaurants include. We will be ordering again soon!
