I had an amazing experience here! The place was nice, cozy, beautiful, and very clean. My friend and I came in for breakfast, and the service was absolutely incredible. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and clearly knew what she was talking about, which made our meal even better. Highly recommended!

I visited Royal Bistro on Monday morning for brunch with friends, and it was such a delightful experience! The place has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was absolutely fantastic the steak sandwich was perfectly done, and the crab cake was hands down one of the best I ve had in Toronto. A special shoutout to Lily, our server, who was one of the sweetest and most welcoming people I ve met in the city. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable with her kindness and lovely conversation. My friends and I have already decided to make Royal Bistro our regular spot, especially for brunches. Highly recommend checking it out!

Did a good job of crisping my home fries which very few places can do properly. Only problem with the breakfast was the coffee. As someone who drinks it black, it was damn bitter in comparison to anywhere else. The 100 flies caught in spiderwebs above the exit was a nice touch too.

i visited Royal Bistro on saturday september 28 based on great reviews since we are from L.A ( USA) it didn t disappoint. A young girl , Saron . seated us quickly , with on a minute, and offered us a coffee right away. We had a nice chat with her , which made our visit even more enjoyable. We arrived around 10 am and ordered the steak and eggs, along with the salmon benedict . The food was amazing and really taste ! I recommend it to my family and friends in L.A next time they visit Toronto. Even though we were there for a short time and had to leave , we ordered takeout for my husband to try, and he loved it too. we will definitely be back when we return to Toronto! Walking in to a pretty accent wall, and brown leather booths, with chaired tables as well - such a cozy environment. The food has such great flavour, and a variety of options the whole family will love. We had exceptional service from Staffy, the most warm, welcoming woman. She seems to have a sixth sense to know when you need service or just more time to chat. Very attentive when needed and so friendly! I was so happy she gave us some of her time to chat about the restaurant and it s history, and share more about herself as well. Did I mention the exceptional prices?! So I rolled into Royal Bistro this morning around 10:45. We received a warm welcome even though it was the first time we came to the resturant. My server, Lily was really nice and friendly, and an expert about everything of the menu. She recommended steak and mushroom benny, that was awesome! All of my family members enjoy it. She was so patient and really waited for a long time for us to decide. Finally, we were super satisfied with the food and the amazing service by Lily! We are definitely coming back and spread the word to my family and my friends. My colleague and me went for brunch together. We ordered the bufflo wrap and royal benny. It was really fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was really nice. It was so hot today, but the server brought us ice water as soon as we sit down, we were so touched by her service. A great experience, recommand to everyone seeing this comment. :)

I have visited here before a couple times and have never actually left a review but I must say I always really enjoy my meal here. Normally I order the steak and eggs with home fries brown bread and an ceaser salad meal is 10/10. Every time I come here the food is consistently delicious and the service is pretty good never felt like I was waiting for too long. The Lady that served me named Lily is really friendly and attentive and havent seen here neglect any customers dining in here before as someone who has ate here all the time she s doing a great job.

We were visiting from Las Vegas and wanted to check out the spot. It was really nice. The atmosphere was nice but the service was not good at all. Our food did not come out in time. We had to wait before other tables that had came in after us had received their food. We complained to the manager. She didnt really do anything but the atmosphere was nice.

Tonight I had the steak sandwich for take-out. As always, the sandwich was superb and they crisped the fries just how I like them. But the real reason Im leaving a review is because of the server who gave perfect customer service. Addressed me right as I walked in, took my order with patience, offered a great suggestion and then sold me on dessert! I am very particular about customer service because it is a dying art. Its a good little restaurant for a breakfast lunch or even dinner now, it used to be called The Breakfast room and its been open for years. The owners are very nice and they are very conscientious about the meals they cook. Kid-friendliness: Its a pretty laid-back atmosphere and theres bench seats that are great for kids

When ordering via uber eats Im never disappointed, and when I went in person a few weeks ago I had an even more pleasant experience. The service was fast, the staff kind and helpful, and the food delicious. Though I got a spicy dish, my eyes werent watering so it was more like a well seasoned meal. Overall a pretty unoffensive dinner and probably a good compromise spot if youre dining out with many people who have very different prefrences

I went with friends for a late breakfast/early lunch. We sat outside since we had a dog with us, and the waitress immediately brought a dog bowl with water in it. Our order was taken promptly by a friendly waitress. My friends ordered a Royal Benedict Classic, Solo Hen dish, and I had a vegetarian Supreme Omelet. We all agreed that our food was nicely flavored and the portions were more than sufficient. There was a nice chili sauce on the table as an extra condiment. The atmosphere in the bistro was simple and cozy. The bill for the 3 of us was under $65. Certainly value for money. We were there on a Sunday around noon. It seems to be a busy area but parking was not a problem. I will befinitely come back, and my friend already let a few others know about this lovely little bistro.

Well I can in for breakfast as I typically do since I have a two hour split working on the GO Train. The waitresses are always nice and helpful and the food is pretty decent on days I eat at Royal Bristo but was not the same standard I m accustomed to. However, this morning everything was going well until I placed my order and requested if I could have the deep fried home fries come separately after I m done eating my toast and omelette (which I have done the last few times with no issues) because Im a slow eater and the fries gets cold after a while and I don t eat it. Well today, it seemed to be a issue as I overheard one of the cooks murmuring something about me being a VIP because of my request. I jokingly told the waitress to tell the cook that I heard him and that I am VIP then He told her that he doesn t care!!! Not that it matters to me but if you are going to be rude and insulting to the people that keep your doors open and help in paying your wages, you could have the decency to at least not let them hear you talking bad about them. Word to management, customer service is what differentiates businesses who share the same service and how that made me feel was very unbecoming of a thriving business. If you don t have employees who care about what they say about your clients it reflects poorly on the business as they represent YOU! Sadly you have just lost a customer for life with no further recommendations to other colleagues, family or friends. Be encouraged and wishing Royal Bristo all the best!!!!

I came in, no one greeted me, I had to wait for a table because none were cleared. The girl wiped down the table fast and left crumbs, there were people waiting behind me and got sat after me. They got their order taken before mine. The table next to me got me a menu because they saw the girl wasn t paying attention to me. (Regular customers got me a menu- just out of being kind) I waited 20minutes and still no one came to take my order after I received the menu from the table next to me. I left. This place has the worst servers and staff I have ever seen. I don t know how they stay in business. Very rude.

I came in yesterday (September 16th) for brunch. The server Saron was amazing -- even though the restaurant was packed, she made sure that everyone was happy and acknowledged everyone in a positive way. I was in a group of 4 and the food was amazing and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone I know and I will be coming back. I went last Friday with my family, and I was not expecting to have the the best time of life at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, the person that attended us, Lily, was so warm, helpful and friendly. I recommend this place to everyone!!!

This is our second time here. The place is small and cute, these rice is exceptional and the food so far has been excellent! And thats just breakfast!

This is the only restaurant which never disappoints me in terms of quality of ingredients and service. The ingredients are always fresh and the presentation of the meal is beautiful. I ordered the angry chicken sandwich today and it was the bomb. I think I will become a long standing customer for this restaurant. The high quality of taste and service always brings me back to enjoy the food every now and then. I highly recommend it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Im not from here and stopped in, I never got my starter, the service is horrible. The waitress didnt say hello. Shes ignoring my table, giving us dirty looks while on her phone and headphones in. My friend had to ask for water. Dirty tables. No soap or paper towel in the bathroom. When it came time for the bills, she got them wrong and took the right bills away. Other customers waiting 10 minutes for service while trying to figure out our bills. I do not recommend. Sorry but ya.

I was here with my family a couple days ago and the food was amazing. The service was amazing and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Definitely plan on coming here again. Vegetarian options: There s a wide variety of options. The veggie wrap was very good.

I was there last saturday and Saron took care of me. She is literally the best worker there, she made me and my family so comfortable and suggested the right food for us because we ended up enjoying our time there. Will definitely be coming back!

The food is amazing! I had the greatest time here with my family while I was visiting Toronto with my family from Kenya. I was there last Saturday I went for brunch and met Saron who was very nice and accommodating. She takes great pride in her establishment and really cares for all her customers.

I went to this restaurant after church for lunch and I was really amazed by their customer service. The eggs and vegetables were fresh and the quality of the food was delicious. I really recommend the calamari fritti and a big thank to the lady who served me today!

Really disappointing. Food was disappointing. Eggs were overcooked, potato was very undercooked (I couldnt eat any of it bc it was still hard) bacon was rubbery. Meal was served at room temp. Waited 26mins to get my meal after ordering even though there was only 1 other table with 2 customers when I walked in. Kitchen was too busy preparing delivery orders for pickup - I watched 4 delivery drivers pick up their orders while I was waiting for my breakfast. Not even sure if they offer coffee refills bc no one ever came to check on me or ask if I wanted a 2nd cup. Dont bother eating here. Do yourself a favour and just grab something from San Remo a few doors down.

I went there over the weekend (Sunday ~ 11 AM) and had a Vegge Benedict and a Latte and loved it wud recommed for more people to try it out!

My mother and I stumbled upon this place today in the morning. At first, I was hesitant but then was greeted with warm smile by a server named Lili. She was welcoming and sat us in a booth. She took our order right away and our food came within 15 mins. The food was amazing but let me tell you about the homemade hot sauce!!! My goodness! They need to package and sell it! It was soooo good! Our bill was between$35 - $40 for two meals, two coffee and tip. I think the prices are fair and its definitely a restaurant Ill be visiting soon again. Thanks for the experience!

Please don t lie to customers and say that the orange juice is freshly squeezed and charge 5.50$ for it. For that price I could go get myself a minute maid juice box if I wanted. Food was ok but ive had better and service? Lets not get into that. Its my first and last time

Best place I ve tried for breakfast in Toronto. Very delicious, I ve tried crab eggs Benny and steak eggs Benny! Literally price to quality, this is extremely good. Coffee is good quality as well. I am so happy I live next door.

Dined here for lunch. They have a huge menu with a wide selection of sweet and savoury options. Great prices. The chicken wrap was really good and their fries are above average. Very friendly staff. The only negative is how loud the diner is. It s a small space, so it s hard to get away from the noise from other tables. My husband and I could barely hear each other.

Due to some reviews, I came here for breakfast last week. It was my first and last. I ordered the Hungry Plate meal and found a hair in the potatoes. I told the waitress who apologized and brought me a new plate of food. I guess they rushed the new order. The eggs were undercooked, the turkey bacon wasnt even crispy and bread was barely toasted. I ate a slice of toast, one egg and one bacon. Most restaurants give you a discount after an incident, but nothing was offered.

Went here with my wife about a week ago for lunch. We both had eggs benedict and were blown away at how tasty and filling they both were! As well as how good the food was, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back again soon!

came here to get some food while i waitied for the bus, I asked how long it would talk and the lady told me about 10 min so i went ahead and ordered a burger for take out. It took a lot longer but there s no problem with that, i had missed my bus by the time they gave me my food so i decided to sit down and eat while i waited. the lady then told me i was not allowed to dine in, ended up having to eat outside in the cold. i would ve understood if the restaurant was packed but besides myself there was only one other person. the yankees burger was alright, tastes plain as there is no seasoning or sauce, the fries were good but they put too much of the red seasoning they use on them, it was overwhelming . the food here was really nothing special probably wouldn t come again.
