Love their falafel pitas. The owner made the falafels fresh, right in front of us. They have the best hummus ever! Family owned. Prices cant be beat for size and quality of food portions. Vegan friendly menu.

Went at night and ordered the beef shawarma. First off, service was great. Def no complaints there. Was attended to quickly and he got our order perfect. The food. Not sure if it was because it was later at night and closer to closing time but the beef was just not good. It had a wet sludge like ground beef consistency to it. Flavour was under seasoned and not much to it. The toppings were ok. Standard shawarma toppings and sauces. Pita wrap fell apart pretty easily mid way through me eating it. Like I said maybe it was due to the time of day and Ill check back again at an earlier time to see if theres a difference. But so far I would not recommend

Excellent tasting shawarma, home made sauces not too salty and prices slightly lower than other shawarma places. Most of the bad reviews are from people that cant handle a true authentic conversation with another human being. It had nothing to do with the food because the quality is definitely there. This was the first time I had a real conversation about life while waiting for shawarma, it was great and happy I randomly stopped by here.

I came to this restaurant earlier today and I ve never seen such amazing and friendly customer service. Food was great and the cashier was the most friendly person I have ever met. 100% would come here again.

Tried this place yesterday first time. Shawarma beef, was delicious. Fresh and very very tasty. The staff was friendly pleasant and very generous in letting me trying the brown lentil rice . Very sweet of her. Place is right next to my work place. So I will definitely be going there for lunch. Instore pick up was really fast too. I definitely recommend this place for excellence tasty and very fast and friendly service. Price is also where its supposed to be at.

The food here is amazing, the shawarma platters, the wraps and the cooked veggies that come as sides were super yum a great family run business.

We are from out of town and we came to this restaurant hoping for authentic shawarma! We were very pleased! For the money, you get a good sized portion and has a ton of flavor. They give you a healthy amount of sauce and the meat was tender. Great service as well! Highly recommend!

Easily one of the best shawarmas in the city

Do not eat at this location. I have eaten here previously with no issue on quality or quantity, but this order was just terrible. First, the quantity of fries was less then half of what is usually given. But secondly, which is more of an issue, they served raw beef that was barely cooked. The ingredients in the shwarma were also old and tasted off. I called three times and they ignored my calls. I walked to the location, and requested a refund, but they said only Skip will refund. They offered to cook again, but if they gave out raw beef once, then I cannot take another meal from them due to their lack of quality control or food safety. Do not eat at this location.

I have been visiting this place and ordering from this place for past 4 years, and the food has always been good and I believe this to be one of the best place for shawarma in the surrounding area. I really like the food and will give 5 star for it. I am writing this review because i wasn t happy with the service. Today I went and got a beef and chicken plate from here, the guy who greeted me was very rude. I asked him why he charged me $17 and change to which he replied this is canada we have to pay taxes it was my bad that I dint calculate taxes into account and then he asked me if I have been here before to which I said yes, and then he asked me what I would like to have and i was curious and asked him what was there in the container (which rice and other things) to which he replied you have been here before you said ( of course I have but dont work there and this is not the way to demean a client) and then he asked me what side I would like to which I said veggies with Hummus , I believe he didn t hear me saying hummus and started packing , when i asked him if he put hummus in the container he said i asked you , you didnt say anything and now i have packed it quite annoying right to open n put again ( I believe restaurants prime focus is customer service and thats why people visit them, i found this to be rude) , then he asked me -which pop I would like and as I was thinking he said - sorry you dont get a pop as you ordered mix platter - i found this whole experience very berating and the guy to be very rude. Again the FOOD IS GOOD and i have been ordering from this place for years but today it was a bad experience. He maybe having a bad day but thats no way to talk to a client.

This is our first time going to this place...we had take out...the food was great... But the young person serving was very rude. He should learn manners. I know customers are not always right, but there are better ways to speak to people. We like the food but it is a pitty that we would not go back in there since the gentleman made it very clear that he is not an employee, therefore, he must be the owner.

Been coming here for a few years now, and I have to say this is the only shawarma place I come to now, amazing staff and even better food, I always get the mixed shawarma plate and its delicious and very filling highly recommend

Every so often, I come to Shawarma Grill Xpress to get the best Shishtaouk plate with a side of vegetable stew and roasted potatoes, plus a rice pudding for myself and more food for my friends and family members. If you have not tried this place yet, you must order from this awesome restaurant. Its located right across from Costco, Harveys and Starbucks. Dont miss it !!! The food is consistently fresh, delicious, amazing; it is authentic Middle Eastern food with large, satisfying portions. This family owned business is fantastic; the staff is warm, welcoming & authentic as well. It is always appreciated to be served in a pleasant fashion, with a smile and great customer service. I have visited Toronto last week with my son first time. In search of a gas station, accidentally we came to Shawarma Grill Xpress. We placed an order for mixed Shawarma and chicken shawarma roll. The quality of the food was awful, rotten beef smell. In a few moments, food servings were ended in the garbage bin. I wish to give negative marks to Shawarma Grill Xpress but unfortunately, I can t.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon and order a simple falafel its been a while and was craving a good one Ive been here before but never tried the falafel they were massive and simple to the point point God exactly what I asked for and was extremely satisfied the falafel was amazing here on the owners cool guy as well I would definitely recommend this place and Ive had their dinner plates and combos and every time Ive been here the food has been amazing Definitely try it out If I could give it 10 stars I would but it only goes up to 5

Never though I would have been happy my truck broke down. Discovered this place when waiting for the tow truck. Staff was super friendly and told me I could stay for as long as I needed. Even let me charge my phone. Super fresh, delicious falafel, honestly, best falafel I have tasted. Also have these super tasty malt drinks mixed with fruit flavors.

Rice wasn t cooked at all, checked old and had weird spice, not at all juicy or soft. The grilled veggies were two pieces of bell peppers and zucchini. No taste at all. Very poor quality. Came with pieces of pita bread. Won t be ordering again.

this has to be one of the best shawarma restaurants around! the chicken is actually juicy unlike other shawarma places, and the servings are enormous! these are tough times and I feel great about supporting this local business. yes, there is only the owner and one assistant working, but i have never waited more than 5 minutes for my delicious food! I read another review complaining that if she cant afford to have more staff working than just close down? how entitled! everyone is struggling and she is just one of many owners trying to stay open and make a living. i am telling you this place have never disappointed and you will not regret going!

Found dark curly hair in my take out dish, the chicken shawarma was co!d tough and dry.The falafel pita was burnt, the pita had dark grill marks but it tasted really burnt.

Shawarma is my favourite food but this place has worst shawarma. Chicken is so dry and overcooked and even some veggies are not fresh.

Great food but had a bad experience here a few months ago. I placed an order for $27 worth of food and a moment later a delivery driver comes in with no mask on. The girl working seemed to have no problem with this and hands off the food before preparing mine. I explain to her that i prefer to cancel my order and she says she does not know how to issue a refund. After opening a chargeback it ends up being declined and my voicemails to the store have gone unanswered. The food is pretty good though.

Nice customer service with generous portions, I was very full from 1 chicken shawarma plate which ended up being lunch AND dinner. All the components were excellent including the delicious hummus and hot sauce which seemed like they were homemade and were perhaps some of best of every Shawarma joint Ive ate at, and theres many in the GTA. The only thing I could fault was that a few pieces of chicken tasted a bit dry/tough but that wasnt enough of an issue for me not to return. I will definitely be back.

The beautiful eggplant stew and falafel this restaurant serves keeps me coming back on a near weekly basis. Ive been a repeat customer since they first opened and I travel distances for their food.

Its sad that they dont have wheat breads and the quality of food is absolutely not maintained well. Its tough to rely on this even for a quick bite.

Amazing food and amazing service. I visited from NY and the lady at the counter helped me figure out where to park. She also struck up a good conversation. My wife and I tried the Chicken and Mixed Shawarma as well as a side of potatoes. Both of us enjoyed the food a lot!

Ive visited this place a few times and keep returning for both the quality of food and service. First, the shawarma is some of the best Ive had in the area. Ive now tried some of the other side dishes as the owner is so kind, that she wants you to try all of her food! At no charge she threw in some eggplant that was to die for. Shes a really nice lately who cares about her customers. Portions are large- she wants you to have enough and piles it on :). I highly recommend this place.

I should have read the reviews before coming here. Seems like it s really hit or miss, and when it misses, it really misses. I ordered from Ritual. Got there about 15 mins later. There was nobody else there and the lady working didn t even know there was a ritual order that was placed. The beef shawarma was really dry and over cooked. Like jerky almost. Vegetables were cold and slimey. Fries were undercooked. Also no rice included was odd.

Not a pleasant experience. Only 1 person on the floor and 6 people to order. Nothing is ready, sauce bottles are empty and no one to help. I understand the epidemic, but if you are open serve efficiently. Close the place down if you do not have enough staff.
