I wasnt sure if this was a chicken or a pigeon considering the size of the chicken leg. Fries were old or cold or I dont know whatever one wants to blame as to why the fries were old. The staff were very friendly and tried their best but I wonder how the chef truly Happy about quality and quantity..

The spring rolls app was delish. We ordered the Festive dinners and enjoyed them thoroughly. Our server Laura was AMAZING!! She was attentive to our needs and it was service with a smile at all times, no matter how many extras we asked for. Lauras friendly demeanor really made our visit to Swiss Chalet an enjoyable one! We look forward to visiting again and eill recommend to friends and family.

Great service, very accommodating.

We ordered delivery - chicken pot pie, caesar salad, and ribs. While the food tasted good, we were not impressed. Everything was very cold when it arrived, and someone stuffed the bread roll into the chicken pot pie. So very soggy bun and the pie filling spilled a lot. Also very disappointed in the salad. Ridiculous price for a tiny tiny pile of romaine. We called the help number, where a woman was not at all helpful and transferred us to a line where we then got hung up on. Calling back did not help. Done with Swiss Chalet going forward.

Apparently the changing of the roof colour from red to black was done to mourn the death of customer service at this location. Among other issues, our dinners came out roughly 45 minutes after ordering!!! After a while waiting we followed up with our order to be told when its ready Ill bring it. Clearly, being a small family of 3 ordering the 2 for 1 special and kids meal, we were definitely seen as low priority, as the priority clearly went to the coach bus full of people who arrived after us, and probably after we placed our order. This priority was made obvious to us when we were told they have a party (the coach bus) they have to look after/feed, despite them arriving and ordering after we did. As if we were less worthy of getting service. Apparently, they got their speed back after, as a couple who came and ordered 30 min after we did, got their food shortly after us. This fact was hammered home when the server brought us the payment terminal and bill before we were finished our meals, without asking my daughters kids meal dessert choice (we had to ask), and without giving the opportunity to order dessert and coffee as originally intended. We never had a chance to get a takeout container, nor pick a toy from the chest for our daughter, as the server never came back to the table, she set the amount in the terminal, and disappeared, leaving the terminal there until after we left. It is such a shame, as we have only had good experiences at this location. The servers have always been amazing and welcoming, even when the food isnt 100%. Tonight, the food was prepared to perfection, unfortunately the service ruined it. The manager compd the food, however it is far from sufficient to offset the disgust from the service failure tonight.

Unfortunately getting takeout orders correct is a big challenge. We got the heavily promoted Thanksgiving feasts but they missed the stuffing and cranberry sauce on both orders... customer service offered 5 bucks credit but i dont think they really get it. Happy Thanksgiving!

Grossly disgusted by the service at this location. After being seated we waited for a server for 15 mins and were only able to order because I flagged down the waitress and asked if we could order. It then took another 15 minutes to get our drinks and another 40 mins for our food. The manager did come over to talk to us after I told our waitress we were unhappy and we were fed excuses that staff called in sick, they lost our order ticket, kitchen back up etc etc etc. I don t care to hear excuses. However, she did comp our meal which was appreciated, but would have loved that without a side of excuses. I didn t have high expectations to begin with, but would have never expected the service to be this bad. Don t waste your time, pick another restaurant.

This location needs a lot of work with their service and especially the manager.
