Great experience! Staff was very friendly, very helpful and patient. Indoor dining was not too busy inside which is good nowadays. Food was also on point, loved the veggie gnocchi, perfect portion size too. And cocktails were also delicious.

I reserved a table for four last week for December 11. Our server was ok, but towards the end of the night we were politely asked by the manager to move to another table so they could accommodate a party of 11. We reluctantly complied but it should have never happened and we should never have been asked to move. The service did not continue at our table and we didnt have an opportunity to refill any of our drinks, nor were we asked. The service ended immediately when we moved. To the Manager last night that asked us to move: That was inappropriate. I understand that its the holiday season, but if there is a seating time limit at tables then this needs to be disclosed. Im disappointed beyond belief. This was so rude. Ill think twice about coming here again.

The Keg standard has been solid for me for 20+ years. This is one of my favorite location. Great food, great service, free birthday cake, and if occasionally something isnt up to standard, they always make up for it.

This is my go-to restaurant. It is the definition of dependable. The food is always pleasing, the service is consistently good and the atmosphere is warm, quiet and peaceful. This is the dining experience against which I compare all others, and it always wins.

Specifically booked several months in advance to celebrate 15;yr wedding anniversary why is beyond me. When I called a week before and day before and mentioned again for a nice table considering milestone. They gave us a crappy table by the bar, where is the ambiance when kids are chewing on French fries. Walked out. If you cant follow through on directions then a waste. A complete ruin on something we wanted to celebrate

Katherine id like to mention the name first because I don t want to forget it. Second I d like to say that check up on the client don t leave them hanging around for 2 hours for a main course food! It s ridiculous. Not even an apology as she approaches my girlfriend and pretends everything is okay since I have returned my tray back as I had my appetizer I couldn t stay there longer I wanted to pay and not be there another second. I don t want the owner apologizing or anything but I d need them to work on the customer service as this business is solely based on that! I have been a repeated client here but I believe it would be the last time at this location.

Always a great time here. Service was amazing, steak was amazing and my favorite french onion IMO is one of the best.

Our server Casey is the reason we d come back to this location. He truly went above and beyond to make sure every part of our meal was perfect. He genuinely cared about our experience. I don t typically take the time to write reviews about a server experience so this is pretty legit. The Keg is very lucky to have a server like Casey!!

Tried the holiday Yorkshire pudding appetizer, it was okay but needed a bit more sauce as the pudding was a bit dry.

Ordered the Caesar salad for lunch and added grilled chicken. Honestly the piece of chicken was so small they could have called it a chicken medallion. The salad was $18 which is not cheap but $9 for that small piece of chicken was ridiculous.

Had the pleasure of dining here the other day with my wife for our anniversary. We were served by Raya who was easily one of the best servers I ve ever had. Everything from the service, food, staff and general atmosphere of this restaurant is top tier!

I got a little tipsy and embarrassingly loud on a video call and they didnt make me feel like the a-hole I was being. And for that I thank them. Also, food, drinks and service were on point

We made reservations for 7pm on a Saturday, noticing they have a policy where they only have a 15 minute grace period, we decided it would be best to arrive at 6:45pm and wait until 7pm to be seated. Unfortunately as the restaurant was busy we were made to wait until 7:30pm before we were seated. They did offer us and the other guests some sparkling wine as we waited for our seats which was a nice gesture. The food was good, no complaints there but again, when we asked for the bill we waited another 15 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes I told our party of 5 that I would deal with the bill and that they were free to leave as Id catch up with them later. All in all it was a decent experience, in the future I will keep in mind to avoid going during their on peak hours.

Made reservations for 7:15pm but only seated at 7:45pm, what is the point in having a reservation? Service was super poor, our server vanished as soon as she gave us our steaks. At one point we tried to waive any server down just for some water. My steak was also a disappointed, a medium rare steak, should not be dry and tough. The Mushrooms Neptune and Tuna Tartare are always fantastic. The garlic mashed is a MUST and the Billy Miner Pie is perfection on a plate.

We have been dining at The Keg for years. It has always been a great experience. Last night was the first time the food was horrible. We ordered two strip loin steaks. Both to be cooked medium rare. First my husbands baked potato tasted like it was sitting in the kitchen all day. My steak was raw. I asked to have it cooked more. It came back almost black and still raw in the middle. My husbands steak was better than mine but raw in places as well. Also there was no flavour like usual. The staff was good and apologized. We were given a $34 credit which we appreciated but it still cost us over $100. We couldnt finish our steaks and brought them home to give to our dog. I honestly dont think I will be going back.

Found hair in our food the last two times we went. Same manager on the patio made the same excuse.....this never happens. Until I told her she told us the same thing last time we were here.

Absolutely love this location and such a bonus that it s in our neighbourhood. Ambiance is so cozy. The service is always amazing and the food is continuously top notch. Also, it s always so clean. We ve been there two weeks in a row to enjoy their fall feature dishes. And most importantly, they are so kid friendly! They have sealed packs of crayons with an activity sheet to colour and also provide a complimentary plate of healthy snacks. Since our almost 3 year old was a baby, we ve been coming here and it s definitely our family s go to for a great dinner!

Worst food at this location, the space is lovely and servers were great but very sub par in comparison to other locations of the same chain. Tuna was questionable, they used a lot of sauce in the tartare to try cover up the fishy smell and taste. Burger was burnt. Chicken was lacking flavor.

The service really makes the place. Sharon hit the perfect balance between exceptionally attentive, friendly, and efficient without being overbearing when you re a tired traveler. Broccolini and shrimp were great. Bread it came with was mediocre frozen dinner roll, but the service from Sharon and the bartenders made it really great overall.

Always a good time. You can pretty much count on a very good meal when you go there. The service is also very friendly and hospitable. Vegetarian options: A good variety of vegetarian dishes are offered. Dietary restrictions: They show the GF and VEG option right on the menu and you can always ask the servers. Parking: Location is in Sherway Gardens mall so plenty of parking garage. Also 4 ev charging spots available.

We stopped by after a concert for drinks and appetizers on the rooftop patio. We were greeted so nicely by Meghan and the rest of the evening was just lovely. Our bartenders V and Meghan were absolutely fantastic. We had a fantastic time. Keep up the great work guys, you are both an asset to this restaurant.

We sat at the bar and a wonderful waiter nam3d Milan. Very courteous, professional, and friendly ! We had escargot, tuna tare tare, and scallops and bacon! The Billy Minor pie was the star of the show as always!! Great visit!

The food was excellent, and the servers were kind and attentive to small details, which I appreciated. However, I noticed what felt like a microaggression in the seating arrangements. Certain guests, mostly Caucasians, were placed in the center or in more favourable spots, while others were seated on the outskirts. Seeing it directly with my own eyes was very painful.

This was the best Keg experience Ive had in years. The staff including management attended to all of our concerns and provided immaculate service for our party of 16 at my Grandmothers 81st birthday. Ive been quite cynical after recent experiences at other Keg locations but this one looked after our large group effortlessly. This location is the Keg we all know and love.

First time coming to The Keg and I will be back! I m not a fan of steak so I didn t think it would be a good place for me but I was invited to a dinner party so I came. I ordered the honey salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and a piña colada and I am so happy with how my meal tasted. The salmon was so perfectly cooked and the sauce on it was sweet but not overpowering. Best salmon you could ever eat. The bread was alright but the butter was also well seasoned. The waiter was so kind and attentive with our table and made conversation and I thought that was extra kind. The atmosphere was nice but I think the rooftop would have been better. Would recommend! The service and management is exceptional at this location. I had a very minor issue with how I wanted my chicken cooked and management went above and beyond to ensure the meal was adjusted to my liking. I reviewed the Keg before but I need to do it again. Booked a birthday celebration for 10 for lunch. Like always service is great. I ordered I believe is a Baja steak salad. Fresh delicious arugula with beans and avocado the steak was a bit dry and the waiter proceeded to take away my plate and replaced it with new salad and a delicious steak. Best surprise the amount for the meal was removed from my bill.. wow! A kind of thing not seeing today. Thank you!

Honestly, it was a really disappointing keg experience. Ive been to many different locations, and this was by far the worst. Our server pretty much abandoned us; she only gave us waters and then disappeared. After waiting for 20 minutes, I got tired of waiting and walked up to the bartender to order our food and drinks myself. The New York striploin was a little overcooked but still good. However, my burger was terrible the top bun was burnt and extremely crispy compared to the bottom. Also, more than half of my toppings slipped off the burger and ended up on the plate before I even had a chance to eat it.

We asked for medium rare steak and what we got was medium. My sangria looked like somebody just pour some cheap wine and dropped discolored strawberry inside. Our server ask if we need the bread as we were waiting for the food. We said yes but never got it. She just forgot about us. She didnt even come once to ask how the food is. What I liked was the idea of cheff bringing food to the table instead of server. Also your french onion soup was pretty tasty.

Went here for lunch with my daughter, and we both got the lobster roll. To be honest, it was tasty, but disappointing as well. For $30, I didnt get much lobster meat in the roll, where my daughters lobster roll was full! I think next time Ill just get steak!!

Its good food, and you pay a premium for the experience. But its not ok that such a nice place wont have hand soap in the washroom. So I told an employee about it... and an hour later, there was still no hand soap in the washroom. Thats too much money for lacking basic hygiene and courtesy. Food

As avid Keg goers for decades, all 5 people in our party agree that last night was the most disappointing experience we ve ever had at a Keg. While our server was nice, unfortunately she was slow and it was not very busy. It took over 25 mins to get our drinks out. The food came out very slowly and the wine that we ordered with our dinner, came out about 15 minutes AFTER we got our entrees. The caesar salad (a regular go-to for all in our party) was very bland, underdressed, underwhelming, basic and the croutons were stale. Most of our steaks were cooked incorrectly and a friend ordered the Lobster which, while tasted good, was impossible to eat because there were no pre-cracks and the shell was VERY thick. Lastly, our server dropped our bills off and then took over 20 minutes to bring the machine so we could pay. All in all, an evening out with friends that we were really looking forward to and excited to have at the Keg, turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we will be VERY reluctant to return to this location in the future. Only if we have no other choice.

Chicago style strioloin was overcooked and the rib steaks were like roasted ham in appearance, texture and taste. When I go out to eat steak it better be better than what I can make and this place fell way too short. Also the escargot just needs to be in garlic butter. The sauce they put it in buried in mushrooms leaves a lot to be desired.

Had a. payment issue resolved by one of the managers (Matt S.) and he was nothing but sympathetic and understanding about the entire situation. An excellent example of leadership and service that I learned from myself. Food is good, service is top tier.

We went to celebrate my BFs birthday, I ordered the BBQ pork and rice meal when the meal arrived I was in shock the pork looked like it was boiled in hot water and placed on the grill for 5 seconds then they rubbed the BBQ sauce on one side only the pork was white. I am still upset about it.

The staff was able to change our original reservation to dining room seating. Our server was awesome. Food is always a hit! We were very chilly where they sat us and staff helped us with our concern as soon as we voiced it.

Gabriella our server was very personable. Very thoughtful to split the starter salad into two bowls since we shared a Keg Classic meal between us. Would like the egg bread back that accompanies the baked garlic shrimp. New one is still soft and tasty but not as nice to dip.

Forgot to review this Keg. Saw a deliciously cooked prime rib on TV and remembered what mine wasn t - this past April 2024. Service was literally perfect and the wine and company was the best thing. Though I chose the Keg to serve my craving for a tasty piece of meat.

Cara foods ruins everything Removing the brioche from the baked garlic shrimp is criminal. Only to replace it with some of the table bread they give away for free. Corporate greed is insane. Hope someone ruins your favourite app too. And your stock drops massively.

Over priced, service was a bit rushed

Went for dinner with friends and the place was absolutely packed! The food, as always was perfect! The server was friendly and attentive. The only thing that didnt thrill me was how closely packed the tables were. It was very loud, and the noise was just incredible. Not anyones fault, I know they gotta make a buck, but when you spend $60-$70 per person, its not ideal.

Lovely staff who were gracious enough to remove tasteless and delayed (mac and cheese) and incorrect (chocolate swirl ice cream) items from the bill. The cocktails were OK. The lobster tails were great as always, along with the bone-in rib eye. The mac and cheese is like Alfredo, not a classic baked mac. They seem to just take a torch (high oven heat, probably) to the bread crumbs on top of stove top pasta. Its not a real baked mac but runny cream with macaroni. The crème brûlée was delicious and the chocolate cake was too.

Anytime I feel like a steak I tend to go to the Keg because theyre so consistent. This was my first time at this location and it didnt disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly, the atmosphere was relaxed and the service was top notch. I will definitely be going back again.

Good food, great service. You can never go wrong with The Keg. Furniture and decor is a bit outdated and could use a refresh considering the high prices they command. Parking: Parking is a plenty but usually hard to find a spot due to shoppers who share a common parking lot. There should be some exclusive parking for The Keg or a valet option.

Prime rib was excellent but the dining room was too packed, too noisy, so whatever atmosphere they were trying to convey you really couldnt appreciate it. Too expensive to be disappointed on any level.

I think first of all the service was awesome. Our server Chris was very attentive, proactive and speedy. You can tell that he is 100% focused on service and that aspect is truly five stars. The Keg as Steakhouse is relatively affordable at about $50 or so per plate with sides/accompaniments. However, it is not just unique to this location. The striploin just came out dry and chewy despite medium rare was what ordered. Maybe the first cut was medium rare but as you cut through the steak, it becomes closer to well done. I think this is largely due to the thin cut which makes it much more easily overcook. I think value is there for a relatively affordable Steakhouse hence 3 stars but I might be trying out the competition to try...
