My family and I ate here back in July (and had take-out back in May), and both times, the food was exceptional. I had the evapi, with opska Salata and Lepinja sa Kajmakom as appetizers. The food was delicious and the service was great. As someone with Balkan ancestry, I seriously couldnt recommend this restaurant enough!

Great spot for high end Serbian food at an affordable price.

Do not order takeout from here. They severely reduce the amount of food in the small meat platter. When I called to inquire if there was a missing container, the man that answered the phone laughed at me. Rude customer service, will not be returning.

I ve driven by this restaurant many times and I ve been meaning to check them out for a while. Finally went last night with a friend who was just as excited but also clueless as to what to order the gentleman (assuming he s the owner?) made his recommendations and we followed his direction and we weren t disappointed! Everything tasted fresh and tasty (side note: we aren t big bean eaters so that didn t get eaten so can t comment on that). Plenty of (paid) street parking available right outside on Bloor and also on side streets. We had a lovely evening, thanks Bonimi!

Bonimi catered an event for us on very little notice. The food was authentic, delicious, plentiful, and delivered without any hiccups. We had meat platters, potatoes, lepine, pasulj, baklava, srpska salata - all done to perfection. So thankful for their excellent service!

A small teleport to Serbia for the duration of the meal. As close as possible to what was there.

I have never had a bad meal or experience here. The food is delicious and every option is made with care.

Everything on the menu is amazing, so you cant go wrong! Its also run by a very lovely and very friendly family they make you feel right at home! Also, ask about the hand-made hazelnut baklava... Its not always available, but if it is, youre in for a treat! ;)

Pleasant service mins it was my solo visit on a quiet time of a weekday (after lunch hr). Fresh made bread, nice cevapi. The larger portion for more than one person are more affordable.

Delicious food at a good price

Family run Serbian restaurant serving a selection of authentic dishes, freshly made with care and love. The menu features many meat dishes, all amazing and delicious. The pljeskavica is to die for and one of their signature dishes. Highly recommended. Note: costs have gone up and so have prices everywhere. They need to update the menu prices on their website.

THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE ANYWHERE! First I want to apologize to the owner of Bonimi for taking so long to write this review. You get busy, life happens and at my age, I eventually just forgot. Since Bonimi has been my favourite restaurant for many years, back in January 2023, my wonderful wife reserved the whole restaurant for my 70th birthday party. There was a total of 32 people, and every person left with a full stomach and a big smile on their face. One of our concerns was whether they would be able to serve that many people all at once, but they went methodically, table by table, and served everyone in a very timely manner, and the service was very friendly and helpful. As for the food, everything that came out of their kitchen was, as always, a tantalizing flavour bomb. If you re looking for fancy food like caviar or fois gras, or a snooty spot with overpriced food, go elsewhere. However, if you want food that is simply delicious, at reasonable prices, with exceptional service, Bonimi is the only place to be. My wife and I are retired, and we travel around the world, where we have enjoyed many great restaurants, but we have not found a place that provides a more satisfying, more delightful dining experience than Bonimi.

Excellent as always. One of best places in Toronto to enjoy Serbian/Balkan food. My highest recommendation goes for Mesano meso (mixed meats), which is a big sampling platter of many kinds of bbq meats. It is excellent and quite authentic. Typically, it is eaten with opska salad, which has been consistently excellent at Bonimi. The only issue that I have with the restaurant is that it is a bit small and feels crowded, but it is what it is. Also, the prices are a bit steep, but the food at least matches the cost. Recommended!

Small Serbian restaurant in heart of Etobicoke and reasonably priced. Food is always great and fresh. I had a chance to try everything from their menu and I would recommend it if you are into this type of food.

Went from 5 star review from 15 year customer to never going back. I always get the $90 meat platter (plus apps) and reminded them not to forget the chopped onions that come with the meal since they forgot it with the last 2 takeout orders. Im told they dont include it with takeout, only dine in. If i want the chopped onions that are included according to the menu I have to pay extra! What kind of ridiculous management tells a customer to pay extra for chopped onions on a $90 meat platter when its specifically included on dine in and the menu description?!?!?

Good food, but quite pricy for what you get. ($3.50 for a small glass of pop...lol) Service was okay, not too friendly, but not slow either. Warning: menu prices are not necessarily correct. Dinner for 2 with tax and tip was in the $170 range. The meat platter was pretty good, nice variety of items. A similar meal at Croatia Restaurant would be about $50 less.

Overall the food is overpriced. But okay I paid 18$ for the plate of Cevapi... then there was no dessert menu but the waitress told me they have crepes only. So I ordered the crepes. I get my bill and see those 2 crepes on the pictures were charged 9$ !! Basically those 2 crepes were worth half the price of that entire plate of cevapi, potatoes, coleslaw and onions. Crepes for 6$ ok... 9$ ?!?! It literally took me 30 seconds to eat them. Btw the bread you see has kajmak spread on it and they sold it for 4$... instead of just giving bread and putting kajmak on the side. I find them very greedy and cheap. Not going back.

We have ordered takeout from Bonimi several times, and the food has always been good, but yesterdays order was exceptional! We enjoyed the dishes very much, meat, fish and chevaps, and the Shopska salad. Everything was delicious!!!

There is certain better serbian restaurants in the area especially three brothers restaurant wich is No1for me and Royal Meats i suggest to try and compare you will see a lot of diffrence, Food

Love love love! Been going here for years with Serbian friends and its a tradition now! Dont forget the bread and the shopska with your meats! And you dont decline the crepe at the end, unless youre crazy.

Delicious, well-cooked meats. The fried cheese dish was delicious. Meat platter for two was $55, with small sides of chopped onion and coleslaw. Some meats were a bit on the saltier side. Brandy was amazing. Service was on point.

We ordered the food and everything tasted like back in the old country, only better. The Kremenadle was delicious! It was 2 beautiful large pieces of juicy porkchops, and melted in my mouth. With coselaw and potatoes. It was the best I ve had outside of the former Yugoslavia or anywhere-honestly. And we travel all over, looking for Balkan restaurants, this one is the best! My husband had the karadjordje svinjska and he said it was so good he couldn t remember the last time he had it taste that good. My teenagers each had 10 Cevapi and they ate all of them. All 10 pieces! The restaurant itself is not big, but don t let that fool you. It looks smaller on the outside, but on the inside and where it really counts (the food), it is huge! We loved it and unfortunately only stayed in that area 1 night otherwise we would have been there each day! Great food, my compliments to Sinisa and the rest of the awesome staff and wonderful chefs there! 2 months later we were in town again and decided to stop at our favorite restaurant. This was our second trip to Bonimi. We had 4 Shopska salads, 3 orders Cevapi and a Krmenadle and Lepinja so Kajmak. The food was fresh, the meat was delicious and service was nice as well. Thank you Sinisa! We would come to the restaurant multiple times a week if we didn t live 4 hours away. We should have taken more pictures but it was so good the minute the plate touched the table the food was gone!

Amazing authentic Serbian restaurant! Having grown up around this cuisine, I can tell you that this is as authentic as it gets. The grilled meat dishes are incredible. There are so many things to choose from, so make it easy and get the mixed meat platter. Last week, I tried their seafood offerings, and everything was absolutely delicious. Simbas service was top notch and all of his recommendations were perfect. Amazing food and friendly service in a great location. Well done Bonimi!

As 4 adults and 2 teenagers my nephew Jovan made a reservation for us I have to say that our experience was amazing I loved snicel with mushrooms sauce ,others Had karadjorjeva ,ooohhh my my ,we ordered brebranac beans mmmmm We ate 6 or 8 lepinja with kajmak ohhh my heaven Lets not talk about palacinjke or baklava I personally went and thanked the kitchen (Teta Nada) re my snicla sa mushrooms sos as I ate in Serbia , hers was better OK now I do not receive any benefit BUT true experiance .Would be proud to recommend the place P. S lets not forget the vaiter (Simba 10 stars) honest STEVE (ZIKA)

Update: Lowering my review because they close before the time they advertise and this is very annoying. You need to call 2hs before their close time even for pick up. Quite hidden place in Etobicoke. A friend invited to go there then I went with my family later. The best cod fish I had in Toronto so far. They also have great salad, meats (lots) and delicious crepe ... can t go wrong with this place.

My husband and I decided to check this restaurant out with some friends, as it was recommended by Suresh Doss. We ordered a platter for 4, and the Gurmanska. Everything was so delicious and the meat was well seasoned. The service was wonderful, the staff were kind and attentive, and made sure we were having a good time and enjoyed our meals. Prices were also reasonable and portions were big. I would definitely come back.

Loved this place The customer service was like being in my babas place ! Warm ,welcoming and overall enjoyable. The food was yummy , hot and came out pretty fast from when we sat down. The Krem Kaymak was a little bit on the cream cheese taste but overall nice on the hot bread .We had the meat platter and cevapi were juicy and delicious. We will be back

Bland boring schnitzel waitress was not accommodating for substitution my dinner partners bacon-wrapped sausages were burnt to a crisp tasted like someone dumped a salt shaker on them in the waitress refused to return the food

Though not my first time having schnitzel, it was my first time having Serbian-style schnitzel. I got the pork while my buddy got the veal. Aesthetically, they looked similar plated so I didn t take another photo. Looks aside however, I really enjoyed my meal and found it quite filling. The schnitzel was rolled and filled with cheese, then breaded. I was debating on getting the fried cheese too, but glad I decided against it. It would ve probably been too much cheese for me, but definitely next time I will try that. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn t too busy. The service was great and the atmosphere felt very cozy.

First time visiting here and it s absolutely delicious! I had a beautifully moist chicken schnitzel, perfectly crispy on the outside, with roasted potatoes and a delicious coleslaw. Hubby had a Bimini schnitzel - rolled with cheese - and it was outstanding. Desserts are all made in house. We tried the baklava and the Raffaello cake - so good! I also tried the Quince brandy - potent and oh so smooth. A wonderful and satisfying meal, and service is amazing. Please try this place. It will not disappoint!!

This place os wow, everything we had was fantastic! Schnitzel done right and in my opinion the best in TO, if not anywhere. The Bonimi Schnitzel is a true prize, very different. great deserts and make a fantastic expresso. Friendly and fast service also. I will be back to try more!

The restaurant itself is very elegant, but the food is AMAZING! This is my first time trying Serbian fare and the Cevapi in the bun with the white sauce is to kill for! The potatoes and salad on the side was spectacular, I have never had just potato which tasted so good All around, the food is decadent, delicious and worth a drive, if you are travelling a bit farther. Just try it
