Kibo sushi-Islington in Etobicoke

Uber eats order did not come with soy sauce, or chopsticks. Not the end of the world, but I don t carry it at home, so very disappointed.

A+++ tonight we ordered for pick up and we both had a small minor miscommunication. We left without one of the items, and within minutes they came to our home and delivered our item I forget with extra bonus goodies. I go here all the time and will continue too. Best service ever.

I made a takeout order for a massive party tray that I was picking up on my way to a friends place for lunch of about 8 of us. When I picked up my order, the server asked me how many pairs of chopsticks I needed. I requested 8 and she said she could only give me 2 and I would have to pay $0.50 per additional pair of chopsticks. Absolutely ridiculous. I spent over $100 on sushi and I can t get 8 pairs of wooden sticks to go along with them? If I came in with a group of 8 and ordered a party tray would you give us only 2 pairs of chopsticks and expect us to fight over them? To just use our hands? I find Kibo sushi has great sushi but this level of service is terrible and rules like this aren t accommodating of customer service, I certainly won t be returning.

We tried the tempura shrimp and crab salad sushi. We loved the both of them, especially the shrimp sushi which was delicious and freshly made.

We had an amazing experience yesterday; everything we asked for was wonderful. It leaves a taste in our mouths that makes us want more.

The food tastes authentic japanese sushi. It is very delicious and I recommend this to all.

The waitress was very friendly when we walked in and was considerate where we should sit because the cold draft and helpful and was willing to answer questions if needed with the menu. If you pay by cash you get a 10% discount. I would recommend this place.

I have eaten at most of the sushi restaurants in Etobicoke. This is my new favourite. Please don t change a thing.

This is by far one of the best sushi places o have been so far. The dishes are beautifully presented and arranged. The taste is simply delicious! Everything one orders here will be good! The restaurant itselft is not very big. They have patio sitting at the back of the restaurant. The venue is clean. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is served fast. There is no parking, so one must find it nearby or on the street.

I love the to go spicy mayo sauce they have here, sunny dragon is the best. My favourite sushi place.

kibo is my go-to sushi place in Etobicoke, I have been to this location dozens of times and they never let me down, the quality of the food is always top notch and they offer exceptional value in todays economy, especially with their cash and carry options. I usually call ahead and order takeout and even when busy its never taken too long, the staff are always friendly and outgoing, and the dining area is very cozy, tranquil and welcoming. they offer a wide selection of quality sushi, sashimi, appetizers, drinks, and other accouterments, theres something for everyone here, my compliments to the chefs and staff here at kibo, thank you very much (:

I saw a 4.7 rating on Google, so I decided to come here for sushi. The space is small, but the quality of the food is what really matters, and we enjoy eating here.

Rolls were delicious and the restaurant is very pretty with the Japanese themed decorations!

Real review of this place from the customers that didn t get a mochi ice cream in exchange for 5 stars lol. Their food was okay and average. Some were fishy and didn t taste fresh. Green tea also tasted like that electric kettle taste (don t know how to explain but off) service and staff was fast and good. Atmosphere cute but dirty. You can tell they don t clean the place well. Floors look sticky. The faucet in their wash station is gucky. Sorry for the review guys hope this can improve your business!

Ive gone here almost every weekend (Friday) when i visit my friend (he lives in the general area). The service/food is always very nice, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, along with very pleasant jazz (?) Music playing in the background. I keep wanting to try one of drinks in the fridge but I keep putting it off each time I go there Ill make it a point to try it next time! Overall, the restaurant is very pleasant for a nice lunch/dinner!

We brought our 5-yr daughter kid to have lunch with us, they have nice food, we even forgot to take pic before we dig in Kid-friendliness: They reminded us the wasabi is spicy for kids

Kibo Sushi Islington is a gem! I tried the Sunny Dragon, Chicken Katsu Maki, Yam Roll, and the French Kiss Roll all were delicious. My order was for takeout, but the staff were friendly, suggesting the in-house service would be just as good. The place seemed clean and well-maintained. Definitely recommend for tasty sushi and a pleasant experience.

The gyoza was a treat. It was very fresh and yummy. The servers are also the nicest to talk to. I would also recommend this as a date place. And alot of options for vegetarians as well. Must go! Vegetarian options: The veggie platter and veggie gyoza were great.

Cozy place with a great vibe

One of the best sushi Ive ever had!

Got the rudest waitress ever. Asked why there was a 15 service price for 5 or more people. The waitress kept responding with irrelevant answers then just left. We were never served by her but instead another waitress. She was really nice. Anyone wondering this place has a good ratong, they give out free desserts if you give them 5 star reviews. Disappointed.

This was the dirtiest establishment of this chain, completely unsanitary, the floors are impossible to walk on, everything is greasy, some dirty rugs, a lot of decor that is covered in dust, this establishment urgently needs renovation, avoid this place. The sushi was weathered and not very presentable.

We order from Kibo for our office Xmas party, and today I decided to go & eat here myself. The Love Boat for 4 was more than enough for our group, and the individual pieces were sizeable as well.

The place is cozy. Food is fresh and amazing.

Kibo-The best sushi in Toronto, specifically Islington chain has a great customer service and I always at least once per week ordering Maki Platter B, never had a problems in getting best quality.
